Mac: What are you doing here?
Raul: I saw your picture in the paper when your grandma got married. I e-mailed Mary in Darfur.
Mac: (Laughs) Mary. We spent so much time together, she called us "Maul."
Raul: Yeah, the "Brangelina" of Africa.
Mac: So much better than "Rack."
Raul: (Laughs) Anyway, she told me you'd be staying here in Genoa City.
Billy: So, um, you're the guy she's, uh, been seeing.
Raul: Billy doesn't know?
Mac: I'll explain everything later. Right now, I need to talk to you in private.
Billy: (Clears throat) Um.
Tyra: (Sighs)
Neil: All right, here we go. You did an excellent job, by the way.
Tyra: Thank you.
(Chuckles)
Neil: Whoa. Whoa. I sense a little tension. You're a little shaky.
Tyra: Yeah, Neil. Did you realize this is the first time we're gonna be going to your boss' house, and I'm now your-- your--
Neil: Hey, come here.
Neil: There's absolutely nothing to worry about, okay? You know what a sweetheart Katherine Chancellor is.
Tyra: Hey.
Neil: Hey, man, great timing. You can actually help carry some of this stuff down to the car.
Tyra: Uh, you know what? Why don't you take this stuff out, and we'll catch up?
Neil: All right.
Tyra: Okay? Thanks.
Devon: (Clears throat)
(Door closes)
Tyra: All right, Devon. What's up? Why have you been giving me the silent treatment?
Devon: Why didn't you tell me that we aren't related?
Jana: Oh, God, I can't wait to jump into Mrs. Chancellor's pool.
Kevin: Oh, yeah? Well, I can't wait to see you in that new bathing suit.
Jana: Mm. Well, I'm gonna go find Daniel, okay?
Kevin: Okay.
Kevin: Hello, Detective. What can I get for you?
Wallace: I'm not here for coffee, Fisher.
Kevin: Well, that sounds ominous.
Wallace: Yeah, you just must think you and Amber Moore are real slick, don't you? Getting Katherine Chancellor to intercede with the governor on your behalf.
Kevin: Well, you know, she's a very special lady.
Wallace: Who helped you get off on some very serious crimes?
Kevin: Yeah, and if you knew how much I regretted everything that happened, you--
Wallace: Yeah, just-- just save it, okay? I'm not the one you should be apologizing to.
Kevin: What's-- what is this? What are these?
Wallace: These are e-mails and letters we received at the station over the past couple weeks, and I suggest you read 'em.
Kevin: "I can't believe you're not gonna further prosecute Kevin Fisher. It's ridic--" (Sighs)
Kevin: What?
Jana: Well, I couldn't get a hold of him.
Kevin: Um, maybe, uh, maybe he's at the gym. You know, working off some stress.
Jana: What stress?
Kevin: Oh, today isn't, uh, isn't just Memorial Day. It's also the anniversary of Cassie Newman’s death.
Nick: You're pregnant?
Nick: Is it--is it--
Sharon: Yours? It could be.
Nick: So that day at the park when you wanted to talk to me and then at the Athletic Club when you were crying and you were dizzy and nauseous...
Sharon: It's morning sickness.
Nick: That's why you moved back with Jack. Were you ever gonna tell me, or were you just gonna raise this baby as his?
Nina: Amber, why is this such a huge issue for you?
Amber: Listen, if Mrs. C. wants to include the "Baby switch" story line in the screenplay, then fine.
Nina: But you won't be happy.
Amber: Why dredge up something that will hurt her, hmm?
Nina: (Sighs)
Jack: Hey. You're not looking so hot.
Billy: Mac and Raul are seeing each other? I didn't even know he was in Darfur.
Jack: Oh, come on. You can understand how something like that might happen, can't you?
Billy: No.
Jack: Mac is overseas, incredibly lonely. Suddenly, a face from back home shows up.
Billy: You know, you're not helping, Jack.
Jack: You need to keep some perspective here.
Billy: What's that mean?
Jack: You're a dad now. You need to focus on that, not some long-ago lost love.
Billy: So you keep saying.
Jack: Hey, look, I know I've been a little rough on you lately, but I want you to know, I am incredibly proud of the way you have stepped up with Chloe and Delia.
Billy: Well, thanks. It means a lot to have you in my corner.
Jack: I am always in your corner, always.
Billy: Chloe's waiting.
Chloe: Ooh. Put it right here.
Billy: (Clears throat)
Chloe: Yeah.
Esther: Thanks.
Billy: Here.
Chloe: Oh, thanks, Honey.
Esther: Looks good.
Chloe: Notice I have him waiting on me? Mm-hmm.
Esther: I see that.
Chloe: Yeah. You know what I say? I say, "Get 'em young... and train 'em right." That's my motto.
Billy: I'm gonna check on Delia.
Chloe: Okay.
Esther: What?
Chloe: I don't want to get ahead of myself, but now that Mac as a boyfriend, wouldn't it just be wonderful if Mac would stay out of his life for good?
Mac: I can't believe you're really here.
Raul: Well, I had a few days, so I figured I'd get out of D.C. and come pay you a visit. It seemed like a good time. Was I wrong?
Mac: No. I'm--I'm thrilled to see you.
Raul: Billy looked like he had been punched in the gut. Why didn't you tell him about us?
Mac: (Sighs) What was I gonna say? "Hey, guess what? I just spent a year overseas with your best friend from high school"? Plus, we were on hold.
Raul: Well, only because I was coming back to the states, and you weren’t.
Mac: I was gonna re-up after my tour was over, but Grandma needed me here, so...
Raul: You know, not a day goes by that I don't think about those nights in our tent?
Mac: (Chuckles) Our little sanctuary.
Raul: That whole experience with you-- up at dawn, working side by side until--until we could barely even stand anymore. And then going to bed at night, knowing, I mean, we--we had actually literally saved some lives. I've never felt closer to anybody before in my life. Baby, I guess what I'm trying to say is I still love you.
Jana: You know, you don't need to hide out, Daniel. Nobody blames you for Cassie's death.
Daniel: No, I know. Nick and Sharon forgave me a long time ago.
Jana: Well, then why can't you just let it go?
Daniel: I don't know. 'Cause, you know, it was like a big domino effect. I mean, first Cassie died, and then Nick hooked up with my mom, divorced Sharon. It was one thing after another, and--and I can trace all of it back to drinking too much at that stupid party.
Jana: Ahh. Okay, yeah. Yeah. So if you hadn't gotten drunk, your life would have taken a completely different direction, wouldn't it? You would have never met Amber. Amber wouldn't have met Kevin, which means that he wouldn't have been kidnapped by Clint. (Clicks tongue) Yep, the whole silver chipmunk thing is all your fault, too, then, isn't it?
Daniel: I see where you're going with this, okay?
(Sighs)
Jana: Just come to Mrs. Chancellor's with me. Come on.
Daniel: Or maybe I'll just go home?
Jana: I don't know. If you go home, you might slip on a banana peel and end up in the hospital somewhere and catch some flesh-eating virus that will just eat away at you.
Daniel: Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. I see your point. You make a very convincing argument. I will go.
Jana: Good. That's it. Come on. Let's go.
Sharon: Noah moved in with your dad. He was barely speaking to me. And you were with Phyllis. And Jack was there, and I confessed every horrible thing that I did, and he still forgave me.
Nick: Did you think I wouldn't?
Sharon: I tried to tell you that day in the park with Summer. But then she fell down, and she hurt herself, and then Phyllis was so angry with me.
Nick: Look, don't-- look, don't worry about Phyllis.
Sharon: I even thought about running away for a year, going to Europe, just having the baby there with Jack, come home. Nobody would know that it wasn't his. So what am I gonna do?
Nick: Well, now that I know, we'll deal with it together, okay?
Devon: The--the one thing I just don't understand is why you couldn't have been straight with me, all right? I'm adopted too, girl. You--did you think I wouldn't understand you, or what?
Tyra: No, Devon, it's not that. Look, I could not risk losing custody of Ana.
Devon: Right, 'cause you're not a blood relative. I just found that out, yeah.
Tyra: Yes. Look, when I was a little girl, your grandmother took me in on her own as her own. But I was still never formally adopted.
Devon: Okay, so it was the same thing as what you did with Ana.
Tyra: Exactly. That little girl needed a home, okay? No red tape, no bureaucracy.
Devon: Right. Cool. That still doesn't explain, though, why you couldn't just tell me, okay?
Tyra: Devon--
Devon: No. No. Think for a second how that made me feel, all right? I'm at my sister's wedding, and I find out-- I get the--the bomb dropped on me that you and I aren't family.
Tyra: What do you mean, "We aren't"? I--we are family, okay?
Devon: Okay.
Tyra: I am a Hamilton.
Devon: Right.
Tyra: I'm a Hamilton as much as you're a Winters.
Devon: You want to know what the difference is, though?
Tyra: What's the difference, Devon?
Devon: The difference is I'm up front with things. You got all these damn lies.
Neil: Wait a minute. What'd I just walk in on, people?
Devon: Ask your girlfriend what you just walked in on.
Neil: What?
Devon: I'm done with both of you.
Neil: Hey, Devon, wait a minute. Come back, man.
Tyra: Devon! God!
Raul: I've missed you.
Mac: I missed you, too. Nothing feels right here.
Raul: How come?
Mac: Billy and J.T. are married with babies. Kevin's married. Everyone's come such a long way from the "Glow by Jabot" days.
Raul: Oh, hey, stop. Don't sell yourself so short. You did amazing things in Africa.
Mac: That was my life, working with the kids and the medics. I had a purpose there, and here, it's like I don't have anything that's just mine.
Raul: You have me.
Mac: (Sighs) Billy?
Billy: What?
Mac: I know we should have said something.
Billy: Well, it ex-- it explains why I haven’t... (Clears throat) Heard from you.
Mac: Don't blame Raul. I asked him not to tell you. I didn't want to hurt you.
Raul: Yeah, bro. Look, especially since it totally caught us off guard, and we didn't know where it was going.
Mac: And then he had to go back to D.C., and--and I was in Africa, and everything just was put on hold.
Billy: Okay, well, where do you stand now?
Kay: (Chuckles) Oh, there he is now.
Amber: Oh, hi! Where's Jana?
Kevin: She's coming. Um, excuse us one sec. Come here.
Amber: What? What? What? What's wrong?
Kevin: Read this.
Amber: What is this? Who's Evelyn Reynolds?
Kevin: She's the wife of the guy I robbed at the check cashing place in Minnesota.
Amber: She hopes you "Rot in prison until you die."
Kevin: Yep. I got more of those in the car. Some of them are for you, and they're all equally hateful.
Amber: Where'd you get this?
Kevin: From our good buddy Detective Wallace.
Amber: Why?
Kevin: Why? Because a lot of people are pissed that we got off without even a slap on the wrist, Amber.
Amber: Okay, Kevin, listen. Anything you did-- any--any laws that you broke were because you just weren’t...
Kevin: Because--
Amber: Yourself.
Kevin: Because say it. Say it. I-I was a lunatic, and Evelyn Reynolds and all these other people know it.
Amber: No, Kevin, listen to me, okay? You have finally pulled yourself together. Things are starting to get back to normal. Don't let this ruin the progress you've made.
Jack: Hey, Sweetie. I'm still at the pool party. If you feel like joining me, I'd love to see you. Give me a call, okay?
Chloe: Hey, Jack.
Jack: Hey, Chloe.
Chloe: Uh, so what's the deal with this Raul guy?
Jack: Well, Raul and Billy were best friends in high school, and, well, he and Mac went out for a little while.
Chloe: Oh.
(Cell phone rings)
Jack: Oh, sorry. That was fast.
Phyllis: Hi, it's Phyllis. Um... um, I'm at "Restless Style." Could you come over here right away?
Jack: You know what? This isn't a good time, "Red."
Phyllis: It's an emergency. Please come.
(Slams receiver down)
Nick: Have you been going to a doctor? Taking vitamins?
Sharon: Of course.
Nick: When's your next ultrasound?
Sharon: Why?
Nick: Because I want to go with you.
Sharon: No, Nick.
Nick: Sharon, I want to be there for you and--and our baby.
Sharon: Oh, I don't even know for sure that it's yours.
Nick: I do. It is.
Sharon: You sound so certain.
Nick: Cassie told us that we were gonna have another baby someday.
Sharon: Cassie couldn't possibly have known.
Nick: Sharon, I had-- I had a dream once. Cassie was alive, and we did have another little girl.
Sharon: Well, we can't allow ourselves to believe in dreams, Nick, because then that would imply--
Nick: What?
Sharon: That it was all in God's plan, that we were destined to find our way back together again one day. And we both know that's not true, right?
Nick: Sharon--
Sharon: Hey, Nick, I-I couldn't forgive myself if I broke up your marriage on top of everything else that I've done.
Sharon: Bye, baby.
Neil: You had already been Tyra Hamilton for years.
Tyra: Yeah. Look, Neil, I am sorry, okay? I am. I wanted to tell you, and Karen started fighting for custody of Ana, and I didn't-- I didn't know what to do.
Neil: No, I know. I know. You thought if the courts found out that you weren't related biologically or--or legally, any chance that you had of adopting Ana would go out the window.
Tyra: Right, and then Aunt Virginia comes to Lily's wedding and tells Devon the truth, and so now he feels like I betrayed him.
Neil: It's okay.
Tyra: What do you mean, "It's okay"? You're not upset with me?
Neil: No, I'm not upset. You weren't trying to hurt Devon.
Tyra: No, but he still hasn't forgiven us for going behind Karen's back, and he's just starting to get over it, and now this happens. Look, Neil, I wouldn't be surprised if Devon never spoke to me again. I don't-- I don't know what to do.
Amber: "Who did you people think you were? A modern-day Bonnie and Clyde? Well, mark my words. God will punish you."
Kevin: (Sighs) It's pretty heavy stuff, huh?
Amber: These people are crazy, Kevin.
Kevin: No, they're not. They're law-abiding citizens who think it sucks that we got off scot-free.
Amber: Okay, you know what? You need to get rid of these.
Kevin: No, no, no, no, no. No.
Amber: What are you gonna do? Keep 'em and read 'em over and over again and relive the nightmare?
Kevin: Yeah. Yeah, maybe. Maybe I deserve to keep reliving it.
Amber: Kevin, this is ridiculous. Mrs. C. is home. Clint is dead. It is time to move on. Ahh. Hi, guys.
Jana: Look who I roped into coming.
Amber: Aw.
Daniel: You got one bossy broad here.
Kevin: (Chuckles) Yeah.
Amber: (Laughs) Hi, baby. Mm.
Kevin: She sure does know how to go after something that she wants.
Jana: That I do. Hello.
Kevin: Hi.
Jana: (Chuckles)
Kay: Oh, Sharon.
Sharon: Hello.
Kay: Oh, hi, Darling. What a lovely surprise.
Sharon: Thank you. Um, Jack-- he asked me to meet him here. I hope that's okay.
Murphy: Oh, the more, the merrier.
Sharon: Thanks. Have you-- have you seen him anywhere?
Kay: Well, he should be here somewhere.
Chloe: Hi, guys. Uh, everyone's looking for you.
Mac: Coming.
Raul: Hey, Billy. When I hooked up with Mac, it did not occur to me that this might be a problem for you.
Billy: It's not a problem.
Raul: E-even though, you know, you guys aren't cousins?
Billy: I'm--I'm over that. Yeah.
Raul: Yeah. No, I figured, you know, since you have a wife and a daughter and everything.
Billy: You figured right, so...
Raul: Good. Good, 'cause, uh, I want to marry her.
Billy: Well, go back to the party, because you have my blessing.
Raul: Yeah?
Billy: Yeah.
Raul: Thanks, bro.
Billy: Yeah.
Sharon: Jack, I--
Billy: (Sighs)
Jack: Hey, do you want to tell me what is so damn important you have to tear me away from a busy party--
Phyllis: (Breathing heavily) You are a liar. You are a liar! You told me-- you told me that everything was fine between you and Sharon.
Jack: You want to tell me...
Phyllis: And you were working out things, and nothing was gonna--
Jack: What you are blathering on about?
Phyllis: Sharon is pregnant. I know.
Jack: How do you know that?
Phyllis: She is pregnant. I overheard her and Nick talking at the cemetery. She told Nick that she could be carrying his baby. (Sighs) You knew this, didn't you? You knew this. You knew this, and you lied to me anyway. And you and Sharon were gonna care for that child on your own and raise that child on your own--
Jack: It could be my child.
Phyllis: That is not the point. That is not the point.
Jack: She wasn't supposed to tell him.
Phyllis: Oh, God, of course she's gonna tell Nick. Of course she is. (Sighs) Jack, our relationships with these two people could be over, and all--all for nothing if Billy's the father. (Sighs) They didn't know that I was at the cemetery. They went on and on and on about how lovely this is--
Jack: W-wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Did you just say if Billy could be the father? My brother Billy?
Murphy: Oh, look.
Kay: Well, here he is-- my number one man.
Murphy: Wait, wait, wait. What am I, chopped liver?
Neil: Hey, Murphy. Good to see you, buddy.
Kay: Tyra, welcome to our home.
Tyra: Thank you very much.
Murphy: So what'll it be? Burgers or dogs?
Neil: Uh, what'll it be, Darling? I-I think we'll take, what, one of each?
Tyra: One of each.
Kay: (Laughs)
Esther: Why don't you come with me, and I'll show you where you can change into your swimsuits?
Tyra: Okay.
Neil: All right. I'll--
Kay: Make yourself at home.
Tyra: Thank you very much.
Neil: Hey.
Nina: Hey, you!
Neil: Hey, hey, yourself!
Nina: Good to see you.
Neil: You know what? I'll be right with you, okay?
Tyra: Okay.
Neil: Look at you, Nina.
Nina: Yeah.
Neil: You know, I haven't said it, but I'm really glad that you're gonna be sticking around town.
Nina: Yeah, me, too. We've got a lot of catching up to do.
Neil: Yes, we do. Come on, let's start right now.
Nina: Yes.
Neil: So you've been well?
Nina: Yes, very well. And yourself? And the kids?
Jana: You know, you still haven't told me why Detective Wallace stopped by the coffeehouse earlier.
Kevin: (Groans) You don't want to know.
Jana: Does it have something to do with the fact that you've been hiding those papers behind your back and under your towel all day?
Kevin: (Sighs) Jana, I don't want to spoil your day, all right?
Jana: Kev, I can handle it.
Kevin: All right, if you say so.
Amber: Come swim with me.
Daniel: No, not with Sharon here, okay?
Amber: Well, I don't think she'd mind.
Daniel: Well, from what my mom tells me, she's on the verge of a total meltdown, so you know what? Maybe I should just go home.
Nick: You're still giving us hope.
Nick: Hey, Buddy.
Noah: I'm glad you're here. There's something I wanted to say to Cassie, but I want you to hear it, too.
Nick: Okay.
Noah: (Sighs) I'm sorry I drank that night Brad died. I know it wouldn't have changed anything, but I get it now-- the reason you drove Daniel's car.
Nick: You were so angry with her.
Noah: I couldn't figure out why somebody without a driver's license would do something so dangerous for a guy she liked. But now that I have Eden... (Sighs) I hate that our family's so messed up, Dad.
Nick: Me, too, son. But it's gonna get better. Don't ask me how I know, but there's hope for us. You just gotta have faith.
Billy: Thanks for covering for me the other day when Jack walked in on us.
Sharon: I-I told him the truth. I told him that you were-- you were being protective of him.
Billy: You didn't tell him the whole truth-- that the baby could be, um, you know.
Sharon: Yeah, um, that was not the time and place to talk about it.
Billy: Yeah.
Chloe: She didn't look too happy.
Billy: She can't find Jack. Uh, I'm gonna go home, okay?
Chloe: Okay, well, I-I'm gonna come with you.
Billy: All right.
Phyllis: Sharon told Nick you knew everything. I assumed you knew about Billy.
Jack: When did this happen? When?
Phyllis: Maybe I misunderstood.
Jack: When?!
Phyllis: I don't know. I don't know!
Jack: Phyllis?
Phyllis: (Sighs) Shortly after Brad's death.
Jack: And you know this how?
Phyllis: I-I saw Billy outside Sharon’s room. I saw them kiss, and I saw them go into Sharon’s room.
(Sighs)
Jack: Does--does Sharon realize you know this?
Phyllis: (Scoffs) Sharon admitted it to me. Jack, I didn't call you over here--
Jack: Oh, shut up! I don't believe-- so you and Billy and Sharon have known this for, what, months? And you have the gall to come over here and tell me we have to figure out a way to deal with this pregnancy?!
Phyllis: (Sighs) I told you I'm--
Jack: Oh, just stop. Stop. You have said quite enough today.
(Door slams)
Daniel: Hey, listen, why don't you, uh, just stay here and have a good time, okay?
Amber: No, not without you.
Sharon: Daniel, can we talk?
Daniel: Yeah, sure.
Sharon: I mean in private?
Amber: Take all the time you need.
Sharon: I visited Cassie’s grave today. You know, I've been here for a little while, and every time I come over to talk to you, you disappear. Are you avoiding me?
Daniel: I just, I don't know, maybe thought that it would not be as hard on you if you didn't have to see me.
Sharon: Wait, Daniel. We all make mistakes. We do things that we kick ourselves for. Like we send our friend out in a snowstorm, or we drink too much at a party. We never expect that anyone's gonna lose their life over it.
Daniel: Things would just be a lot different if I--
Sharon: Cassie made the decision to get into the car that night and drive.
Daniel: Because I was too wasted.
Sharon: It's time for you to forgive yourself. We all have to.
Murphy: Uh, can I have everybody's attention, please?
Kay: Well, yes. What?
Murphy: Uh, thank you all for coming and welcoming me into your extended family. I mean, it's really been great getting to know everyone who-- who loves Katherine. Uh, I don't want to let this day go by without acknowledging the real meaning of Memorial Day to one of those who gave their life for what they believed in. Uh, who sacrifice so that we could continue to enjoy the liberties that, you know, we sometimes take for granted. Uh, people that I-- that I knew and respected and-- and fought alongside. See, this day is to commemorate them. So--so let's have a moment of silence for all those brave men and women who have passed on.
Murphy: To you, my friends.
Chloe: Look, I admit-- I admit that I'm happy that Mac has found a guy, but I'm sure-- I'm sure it's a little weird that your first love and your best friend are hooking up. I get it. It's weird.
Billy: They didn't do anything wrong.
Chloe: Okay. Then why are you sitting here and sulking? Would you cheer up? Come on. You still got me.
Billy: Yeah, I do. Look, you don't know anything about Mac or Raul, so just-- please would you just give it a rest, okay?
Amber: I am so glad you decided to stay.
Daniel: Yeah, me too.
Kevin: You think I should throw all this away?
Jana: Absolutely not.
Kevin: Really?
Jana: If part of your recovery is dealing with the people you hurt, I support you.
Kevin: Thank you.
Jana: Come on. Let's go take a dip in the pool.
Murphy: Miss Esther?
Kay: Hey, Nina, I'm sorry, Darling.
Nina: No, not at all.
Kay: I haven't had a chance to talk to you. How's the collaboration going on the--
Nina: It's going good, although we disagree on a few things.
Kay: Such as?
Nina: Whether or not to include "The Phillip/Cane baby switching thing" in the screenplay.
Kay: Well, I'm surprised Amber would want that in the script.
Nina: She doesn’t. I do.
Tyra: This is the life.
Neil: (Chuckles) No kidding, huh?
Tyra: Yeah. I wish Ana could be here. She had to finish her school project.
Neil: Oh, I'm sure Katherine would love to have her over any time.
Tyra: Well, speaking of Katherine, I've noticed you really like working for her, don't you?
Neil: Yeah. I made a lot of mistakes this year, but leaving Newman is one thing I don't regret.
Tyra: (Chuckles) (Sighs) Am I one of your regrets?
Neil: You know, I kind of wish that we would have met under different circumstances.
Tyra: Yeah.
Neil: But no. I don't regret it one bit. I love spending time with you. And Lily and Ana are happy about it.
Tyra: (Sighs) Uh, yeah, but Devon sure isn’t.
Neil: Give him some time. He'll realize he overreacted.
Tyra: You think so?
Neil: I'm his father. I know so.
Tyra: (Chuckles)
Devon: "I'm not trying to trap you into marriage or ask for a handout. My family is here for me, will help me with the baby. But someday, our son will wonder about you, and if he ever looks for you, I wanted you to know his name is Devon."
Kay: Daniel, I know this has not been an easy day for you, but, uh, you are one of the good guys.
Daniel: Thank you, Mrs. Chancellor.
Kay: (Chuckles)
Jana: So you ready, Darling?
Kevin: Yeah, yeah. Well, so long, Murphy. Mrs. Chancellor, great party.
Jana: Yeah.
Amber: Next one is at our place.
Murphy: Ooh.
Kay: Oh, I wouldn't miss it for the world. Oh, by the way, we'll be in touch by telephone?
Amber: Oh, yes, yes, yes.
Kay: Okay. I love you, Sweetheart.
Amber: Bye. (Makes kissing sound) I love you, too. Bye-bye.
Kay: Thank you all for coming.
Jana: Bye. Thanks.
Murphy: Well, I'll walk you out. Come on.
Kevin: Okay.
Kay: Oh, Nina.
Nina: Hmm?
Kay: If, um, if what I did to Phillip and Cane is important to you and your script, then go ahead and use it. I trust your judgment.
Nina: Thank you. I appreciate that.
Kay: Let's have a cup of tea.
Nina: Let’s.
Kay: All right.
Esther: Honey, I-I'm so sorry that you had to leave. Did--did the baby get cranky?
Chloe: Yeah. Very. Very cranky.
Cordelia: (Cries)
Chloe: Um... (Sighs) Billy, can you-- (sighs) I gotta go. Dee Dee needs me. Yeah. Bye.
Cordelia: (Cries)
Chloe: Shh. Do you--do you not hear the baby crying?
Billy: I'm sorry. I figured you had it covered.
Chloe: Yeah, well, could you see that I was-- I was on the phone?
Billy: Just get off my case for a moment, please.
Chloe: You know, Billy, you're making it really hard to be nice to you.
Billy: So stop.
Chloe: This attitude of yours is getting really old, really fast.
Billy: Well, then sue me, Chloe.
Chloe: The way I see it, I'm the only good thing you've got left these days.
Billy: Whatever.
Mac: So when are you going back to D.C.?
Raul: Soon. I want you to come with me.
Mac: Come with you?
Raul: I've been walking around with this since last summer waiting for the right time. (Sighs) And then I got assigned back to the D.C. offices, and I guess the right time just never came.
Mac: Raul, is that--
Raul: Mackenzie Browning, will you marry me?
Nick: Hi.
Phyllis: Hey. How you holding up?
Nick: I'm all right. I went to visit Cassie.
Phyllis: Yeah, I know. I hate to think of you alone at the cemetery.
Nick: I wasn't alone.
Phyllis: You weren't?
Nick: Yeah, Noah was there.
Phyllis: Just you and Noah?
Nick: Yeah. Everything all right here?
Phyllis: Why wouldn't it be?
Nick: I thought you were quitting early.
Phyllis: There was a minor crisis.
Nick: Anything I should know about?
Phyllis: (Sighs) No, Nick. It's all taken care of.
Noah: Hey, Mom.
Sharon: Hey.
Noah: You all right?
Sharon: Uh, not really. It's been a long time since I've seen you.
Noah: (Sighs) Sorry about our fight. I just couldn't take you stealing those books and letting Eden take the fall.
Sharon: I hate that I hurt you and Eden.
Noah: I know. I-- I should have been there for you instead of freaking out.
Sharon: Well, I was sick.
Noah: It's okay. I forgive you.
Sharon: Thank you.
Noah: Come here.
Sharon: Oh, Noah, that's exactly what I needed to hear, especially today. Listen, there's something really important I have to tell you.
Noah: Mm-hmm.
Sharon: Um, I'm having a baby.
Noah: What? Uh, uh, wow. Hey, that--that's so cool. I bet Jack's excited.
Sharon: So you're okay with it?
Noah: Yeah, uh, totally. Um, uh, let's see. We gotta fix up the nursery, buy a crib-- you're gonna let me help, aren't you?
Sharon: You can help all you want.
Noah: Yeah!
(Laughs)
Sharon: (Laughs)
[Jack remembering]
Jack: Stale booze and expensive perfume and yesterday's clothes. Do I get to know her name?
Sharon: I had a rough night, okay?
Jack: Must have been a full moon.
Sharon: What?
Jack: My brother Billy tied one on last night.
(Cell phone rings)
Jack: Billy. You son of a bitch!
(Cell phone crashes)
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Lily: Keeping secrets already, my love?
Adam: There is one more thing. It's about Victor. He asked me to spy on you.
Jack: I found out my kid brother slept with my wife.
