Victor: That was quick.

Nick: I'm fast. What's up?

Victor: I heard from Chen Yulin this morning.

Nick: Did he get back from Guatemala?

Victor: Yeah, you know about that?

Nick: I read the press release.

Victor: Oh.

Nick: He's making some pretty substantial investments in their infrastructure.

Victor: They want Newman Enterprises to partner with them.

Nick: Really?

Victor: Mm-hmm.

Nick: Wow. How long have you been cultivating that relationship?

Victor: For ten years.

Nick: And it's finally paid off, huh?

Victor: Yeah. And, uh... he told me that this weekend an important minister from Guatemala is visiting him in, uh, Peking, and I want you to be there.

Nick: Okay.

Victor: Anything wrong with that?

Nick: No, I just, uh, figured you would want to see that through.

Victor: I know I can depend on you, son.

Adam: Thank you.

Heather: Hi, Adam.

Adam: Heather.

Heather: Thought I'd check in, make sure you're doing okay.

Adam: Uh... "Okay" is a relative term in here.

Heather: So did that rash go away, after I sent you to the dermatologist?

Adam: Oh, yeah, yeah. Thanks for setting that up.

Heather: Good. And your eyes?

Adam: My eyes?

Heather: Yeah, last time I was here, it seemed like they were giving you a little bit of trouble.

Adam: I don't know what you're talking about. My eyes are fine.

Jill: You!

Billy: What?

Jill: Don't you dare ever come over here without that baby again.

Billy: You know, I thought that I forgot something.

Jill: I miss her so much. She's gonna forget who I am, you know.

Billy: Nobody forgets their grandma. That's why I'm here.

Jill: Oh, my God, you went to see that woman in the hospital, didn't you?

Billy: Mm-hmm.

Jill: And it stirred up all kinds of emotion.

Billy: It sure did.

Jill: Well, don't say I didn't warn you, Honey. I was a wreck when it happened to me. So you understand now.

Billy: Not exactly. I don't understand how you don't recognize your own mom.

Kay: You sat the whole night in that chair, didn't you?

Amber: Yeah, you bet I did. 'Cause every time I take my eyes off you, something terrible happens.

Kay: So I'm told.

Amber: You still don't remember?

Kay: The past few months-- total blank. Older memories coming back, bits and pieces.

Amber: Well, that's good, though.

Kay: Good? It's frustrating. It's like someone’s... someone's playing hide-and-seek with my brain. Memories popping up, and other disappearing. And I have no control over it. I... I don't know what's happened to my mind. Could it be that... Alzheimer’s?

Amber: No. Nope. Actually, it can't be that. Um, you went to the doctor about six weeks, and they said it's not that. And it's not dementia, either.

Kay: Oh, thank God. But if it's neither one of those, what, uh, what could it be?

Amber: You know, some of the memory loss could be from the concussion. That's what Dr. Gannon said.

Kay: Before that, even before that, I was having... I was having those lapses.

Amber: Your memories, some of them, they're coming back, though.

Kay: Yeah, well-- yes, but they could go away again. I could lose my life again. And there'd be no way to stop it if we don't know the cause. Don't you understand that?

Kay: No way would I ever get my life back.

Colleen: Hey.

Gina: Wait. Do you believe this?

Colleen: Oh, my God!

Gina: Did you know?

Colleen: No.

Gina: Neither did I. You'd think they would've at least warned us Kevin was on another rampage. I mean, this is so infuriating. They should've locked him up the first time.

Woman: Ms. Roma?

Gina: Yes.

Kelli: Kelli Mays, Channel 8 News. We're doing a story on the suspects in the bombing. Your ex-husband, and the man who allegedly--

Gina: Not allegedly. Kevin Fisher burned down my restaurant.

Kelli: Would you be willing to do an interview?

Gina: Oh, yes, I would. Yes, I would, because everybody should know just what kind of monsters these two men are.

Michael: All right, fine, fine, fine, I got you. Thank you. Thank you. Bye. Uh... the picture was not photoshopped.

Jana: What?

Michael: He could be wrong.

Gloria: The guy's an expert, Michael.

Jana: No. I don't believe it.

Michael: Well, there's another possibility. The picture could be real, but Kevin was forced to pose for it.

Daniel: Well, if that's the case, then Clint definitely has him.

Michael: And God knows what he's doing to him.

Clint: This will do. Hello, electricity works.

Annie: Oh, it feels good to stretch my legs after being cooped up in that car all night.

Roger: Yeah, we gotta figure out what we're gonna do next, since Esther and old lady Chancellor survived the blast.

Clint: I'm sure those two are singing like canaries.

Kevin: Tweet, tweet.

Clint: Get him outta here.

Roger: Where?

Clint: In the closet.

Kevin: No. No! No! No! No! No! No! No!

Annie: I told you, he's claustrophobic.

Kevin: No.

Clint: He's a freak.

Kevin: No.

Clint: Do it!

Kevin: No, no, please, no! No, no, it's too dark in there. I'll die. I'll die in there.

Jill: Oh, Billy, not you, too!

Billy: Mom, its Grandma. She knew me, and not just facts that she can memorize, but she knew me.

Jill: She didn't know which side of this house her bedroom was on.

Billy: Grandma's been having problems before... before she disappeared.

Jill: Honey, what about the D.N.A.? It proved she wasn't my mother.

Billy: I don't know anything about D.N.A. What I do know for a fact is that my grandmother is in a hospital bed. I'll stake my life on it, Mom.

Jill: Oh, I could kill her for what she's doing to you. Getting your hopes up like this. Don't you think I wanted it to be true? For one glorious moment, I held my mother in my arms. And then, I lost her all over again. I wish you didn't have to go through this. I wish I was wrong. The woman's lying, Billy.

Amber: You are gonna get your life back. I mean, after everything I went through to get you here? You really think I'm gonna let you--

Kay: Come on, come on, Amber, now you're forgetting, I don't remember what you went through.

Amber: Well, it was a lot. Just trust me here.

Kay: Oh, please. Oh, I do trust you.

Dr. Braun: Hello, I'm Dr. Braun.

Kay: Um, this is Amber Moore.

Amber: Hi.

Kay: My friend.

Dr. Braun: And what should I call you?

Kay: Katherine Chancellor, of course.

Dr. Braun: Why's that?

Kay: Because that's my name.

Amber: Where's Dr. Gannon?

Dr. Braun: He'll be here soon. He wanted me to pay a visit, ask a few questions.

Amber: What kind of questions?

Kay: Um, Amber's feeling very protective.

Dr. Braun: May I?

Kay: Please.

Dr. Braun: Understandably so. You've been through quite an ordeal. Though you can't recall much of it?

Kay: Well, concussion. Out cold.

Dr. Braun: And when you awoke, you were certain you were Katherine Chancellor.

Kay: I've always been certain of that.

Dr. Braun: For a time, weren't you living as Marge Catrooke?

Kay: Yes, I suppose.

Dr. Braun: Let me ask you, when I say that name, what words come to mind.

Kay: Sad. Lonely. Victim.

Dr. Braun: And when I say Katherine Chancellor? What words come to mind then?

Kay: Me. Myself. And I.

Amber: You're a shrink, right?

Dr. Braun: A psychiatrist, yes.

Amber: Oh, great. Dr. Gannon thinks you're crazy.

Kay: (Chuckles) Oh. Ah, God. What do you think?

Dr. Braun: I think that a sad, lonely victim might have any number of reasons why they'd wanna change their identity.

Amber: It is her identity. She is Katherine Chancellor. And you know what? We'll prove it.

Kay: Amber, Amber, Amber, Amber, I... I do not think Jill is going to cooperate with another D.N.A. test.

Amber: You know what? Forget Jill. Just get her dental records.

Victor: Have them messenger it to the ranch, all right? Thank you.

Nick: You know, I know what's going on here. You passed on the meeting with Chen, you're working from home. I think they call this nesting.

Victor: That's funny, coming out of your mouth. Where'd you hear that?

Nick: Read about it.

Victor: All right. I guess I am.

Nick: I think it's supposed to happen, though, in the last few days of your pregnancy, not the first few.

Victor: Well, you know, Ashley's pregnancy is hardly typical, is it?

Nick: Because of the car accident?

Victor: Yeah. That, and other factors.

Nick: How, uh... worried do you need to be?

Victor: I'm not worried, really. I decided a long time ago that worry doesn't change a damn thing. But you and I know how quickly loved ones can be snatched away.

Nick: Yeah.

Victor: It changes a man, doesn't it?

Nick: And sometimes, not for the better.

Victor: And I'm determined not to let Ashley down.

Nick: Dad, you didn't let Sabrina down. You know that, right?

Victor: Yeah. You know, it's a funny thing. My going to Paris and... my vain attempt to be close to Sabrina where she used to live, brought Ashley and me together. And now she's pregnant. Funny how life works sometimes. It's a gift, her pregnancy. I'm very happy right now about that.

Adam: So you're coming up with excuses to visit me, huh?

Heather: Hardly.

Adam: Come on, you know, you could just tell me you miss me.

Heather: You know, I think I'm... I think I'm getting, uh, better at this.

Adam: What's that?

Heather: Figuring out when you're hiding something. Adam, I know you're having trouble with your vision. Last time I was here, I saw you trip over a chair.

Amber: Are you serious? People trip over stuff all the time.

Heather: Yeah, but you didn't even know that it was there. Look, I can get you to a doctor.

Adam: That's the last thing I need.

Heather: Why can't you just admit it?

Adam: Because there's nothing to admit.

Heather: Okay, you know what? Fine, I don't even know why I bother. Would you just hand me my pen, please?

Adam: Your pen?

Heather: Yeah, the one next to the magazine.

Heather: There is no pen, Adam, and you didn't know that.

Adam: Shut up. Shut up. Do you know what they do if they sense a weakness in here? I'm already Victor Newman's brat. They think I'm some spoiled rich kid. If I can't defend myself, if I can't even identify them--

Heather: I can get you help.

Adam: Everyone would know. There are no secrets in here, okay? So I appreciate your concern, but you're just gonna get me killed. Go away. Leave me alone.

Billy: Mom, I didn't mean to upset you.

Jill: Then let's drop it, okay?

Billy: I can’t.

Jill: Billy--

Billy: Mom, Grandma needs you. If she's ever gonna reclaim her life.

Esther: Jill! Jill! You've gotta turn on the TV. It's--its Gina. She's talking about Clint.

Gina: They never, ever should've let him out of prison. The man's a psychopath. Now he's out there running wild.

Esther: Yeah, he wouldn't be if you'd listen to me.

Billy: But you're okay, Grandma's okay.

Esther: No. No. No thanks to Jill. You blew us off and left us to die. Your own mother!

Jill: Esther, would you stop with that, please?

Esther: I don't know how you live with yourself!

Jill: Yeah, I don't know how I live with you.

Kelli: Were you surprised to hear of his connection to Kevin Fisher?

Gina: I shouldn't be. Kevin Fisher and Clint Radisson are two of a kind.

Jana: Oh, my God!

Michael: Not good.

Daniel: I'll talk to her.

Gloria: It's too late now.

Kelli: Your restaurant, Gina's, was gutted a number of years ago by a fire that was attributed to Mr. Fisher. Do you believe he was responsible for it?

Gina: Of course he set that fire. Everyone knew it. But it wasn't just arson, it was an attempted murder. It's a miracle that Colleen Carlton survived.

Kelli: How are you taking this news?

Colleen: Uh, I'm still in shock.

Kelli: I can only imagine. What does it say to you, Ms. Carlton, that Kevin Fisher was never even charged for the attack on your life?

Colleen: Uh, well, it was devastating at the time, but I mean, Kevin today is--

Gina: Is more dangerous than ever. He's gone from playing with matches to exploding bombs. But you see, he's a really lucky guy. He's got a brother who's a hot-shot lawyer who knows all the angles. But maybe this time, it'll be different. Maybe this time, they'll lock Kevin up for good.

Kevin: I'm not here. I'm not here. (Whimpering) Where--where--where--where... a car. A muscle car. I'm driving. I'm driving fast. And he... cannot get me. Not again. Not again. Not again.

(Pounding on door)

Clint: Shut up in there! I'm sick of you whimpering.

Roger: Clint! Clint!

Kelli: Also wanted in connection with the kidnapping are Roger and Annie Wilkes. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to call the Genoa City Police Department. That number is 555--

(Television turns off)

Annie: Oh, this is terrible. It's awful. I can't go to jail. I just can’t. Can you imagine those orange jumpsuits with this hair? What are we gonna do?

Roger: What's our next move, Clint? How you gonna get us out of this mess?

Clint: I'm not. He is.

Kevin: (Whimpering)

Jana: Do not defend her!

Daniel: I'm not. I'm just saying, Gina never got over Clint.

Jana: I don't care! I do not know where my husband is. He's missing! He could be hurt!

Michael: Jana, there is good to this. There is good to this. Clint's picture will be everywhere. Everybody will be looking for him. And when they find Clint, they will find Kevin.

Jana: Unless Clint's already...

Michael: No, see... if he was going to kill Kevin, he would've left him at the bomb site with the others.

Daniel: What the hell does he want with him?

Michael: Ransom?

Gloria: Michael. A man like that... who's violent and cruel?

Michael: I know! Like Tom.

Jana: Oh, God! God, we have to find him.

Michael: We will.

Jana: We have to find him.

Michael: We will, Sweetie. We will. We will.

Jana: We have to.

Michael: We will.

Wallace: Hello.

Gloria: What is it this time, Detective?

Wallace: I have some questions for Mrs. Fisher.

Jana: No, my husband is not a psychopath. Yes, he is in serious trouble. So why don't you go out looking for where he is, instead of searching through where he's not?!

Wallace: Actually, it hasn't been a waste of time. Unless you can tell me why Mrs. Chancellor's purse was in your apartment?

Gloria: What?

Jana: She left it here shortly before she died.

Wallace: You didn't return it to her family?

Jana: Well, as I'm sure you know, there are certain people in this town who would like to think the worst of Kevin. So we didn't want anyone accusing him of stealing it.

Wallace: What was in it?

Michael: Don't answer that. I think we're finished here, Gil.

Wallace: No, not quite. I checked out Kevin's laptop. I found out he was searching the internet for ways to hot-wire a certain model car, the same model Mrs. Chancellor happens to own.

Jana: What makes you so sure that that was Kevin searching for that information? There are lots of people who come in here every day, and any one of them could've gotten their hands on that laptop.

Wallace: We examined his phone records, also. Did you know he called Mrs. Chancellor around the time her car went off the road?

Michael: Is it a crime to call your employer?

Wallace: There was a call to that motel room, too, not long before it blew up.

Daniel: Is it possible that maybe he was calling to warn Mrs. Chancellor?

Wallace: I haven't figured out how all these pieces fit together, but I will. In the meantime, I have enough to get a warrant for Kevin's arrest.

Clint: Come on, let's go. Let's go. Come on.

Roger: Easy, Clint.

Annie: He hasn't eaten since yesterday.

Clint: Don't worry about him. This is a tough guy, a real bad ass, am I right? I'm talking to you, Kid!

Kevin: What? What? What?

Clint: You do what they say? You like to start fires and scare pretty girls? Huh? Huh?

Kevin: What does he want me to say?

Clint: Pathetic! I'm gonna go fill the gas tank. Put him back in the closet.

Kevin: I'll be good. I'll be good. Please don't put me back in there.

Roger: Sorry, Kid.

Annie: Wait, wait, wait, uh, at least let me fix him something to eat.

Annie: Okay, okay. Okay.

Heather: Hi.

Victor: Yes?

Heather: I went to see Adam this morning.

Victor: Why would that interest me?

Heather: I thought you'd wanna know that--

Victor: I don’t.

Heather: Victor--Victor! Victor!

(Pounding on door)

Victor: She's annoying.

Heather: Victor, there is something really wrong with Adam!

Nick: Yeah, like that's news.

Heather: Victor, it's his eyes! He can't see! He's starting to go blind!

Victor: By the way, the council of ministers has to approve our investment. So, uh, from now on, they're your best friends, right?

Billy: Here.

Jill: Thank you, Honey.

Billy: That Radisson guy-- he's a real piece of work, huh? The thought of him threatening Grandma... is what why you can't accept that Grandma's alive? Because you feel like you might've put her in harm's way and his path?

Jill: What?! No, Billy! I don't believe she's Katherine because she's not.

Billy: Mom, you wigged out when you first saw her. And that's completely understandable. A woman you thought was dead just showed up in your living room.

Jill: I saw her body.

Billy: Are you sure it can't be this Marge woman?

Jill: In Katherine's car? In Katherine's clothes?

Billy: Okay, I can't explain that. But you can't explain the way I felt in that hospital room. I felt like I knew that woman my entire life, and nothing you can do is gonna convince me otherwise. Unless you go and you see for yourself.

Jill: No, Billy. No, absolutely not.

Billy: Mom, what are you so afraid of? Come on!

Jill: What do you think?

Billy: You already think she's a fraud, right? So we go down there, we check it out, and if she is, fine. I'm sorry. We walk away. No big deal. But if she's Katherine--

Jill: She's not Katherine.

Billy: If you're so sure, you're gonna have to prove it to me.

Jill: (Sighs) Oh, Baby. For you. So you can put this behind you and move on.

Billy: Thank you. Let's go.

Jill: Someday, somehow, somebody's gonna say no to you, Baby.

Billy: Perish the thought.

Esther: And she agreed? This--this Dr. Braun will get Mrs. C.'s dental records?

Amber: Yeah, all she had to do was request them. Which is a hell of a lot easier than what Kevin and I were gonna do, because we were gonna break into the dentist's office.

Kay: Oh, tell me I didn't know about that.

Amber: No, but you did know we broke into the pawn shop.

Kay: Oh, dear God in heaven. Amber!

Esther: And that was Kevin, too?

Amber: It was all Kevin. The t-shirts, the posters, which is what brought Clint out of hiding. In fact, Kevin is who told me where to find you.

Kay: Oh, my God. We owe that young man our lives.

Amber: Yeah, he's a hero. No matter that they're saying about him on the news.

Daniel: Whoa, Jana! Jana! Jana! Jana! Come on! This isn't gonna help Kevin. This is not gonna help Kevin.

Jana: Get out of my way. Get out of my way! How could you say what you did?

Colleen: Look, Jana, I didn't mean it the way it sounded, okay?

Jana: Kevin looked at you as a friend. And if you are terrified--

Colleen: Look, I'm not, okay?

Jana: Why did you say he needed to be in prison?

Colleen: That was old Kevin. Okay, back then, that's what I was trying to say, it just came out wrong!

Jana: He is not that person anymore!

Colleen: I-I know, okay? And I will tell anybody you want me to.

Jana: Well, the damage has already been done, hasn't it?

Gina: You're right. The damage has been done, by Kevin! You know, I'm sorry. I feel sorry. I know what you're going through. I have been in your shoes.

Jana: If you dare compare my--my beautiful Kevin to your demon ex-husband--

Gina: Kevin's the one with demons in his head.

Daniel: Aunt Gina, look, Jana's going through a lot right now.

Gina: Right now? That's gonna be for the rest of your life, as long as you keep choosing men like Kevin--damaged men.

Jana: Damaged?

Gina: Yes, people like that never change!

Jana: You don't know a thing about my husband!

Colleen: Gina, Kevin has worked really hard.

Daniel: Yeah, he's a good guy.

Gina: Yeah, a lot of people thought Clint was the salt of the earth, too.

Jana: Oh! I see! I see! You were duped, you were duped, you were wronged, and so now everybody has to have the same story!

Gina: Shut up! Maybe he isn't like Clint. Maybe he genuinely tried to change. But when you got a problem that you're carrying around inside your head, there's no escaping it. And sooner or later, somebody is going to push the wrong button. And there's gonna be an explosion, and people are gonna get hurt! I wanna see Kevin locked up as much for your sake as anyone else!

Jana: You stay out of this. You hear me? Or so help me--

Gina: What? What?

Daniel: Okay, okay, okay, no, no, no, no. This is not gonna help Kevin. Look at me. Look at me. You need to pull it together. Let's just go, okay? Let's go, okay? Come on. Come on.

Annie: Here you go.

Clint: We're all set.

Roger: Annie and I were just talking about that.

Clint: What's he doing out?

Annie: Oh, leave him alone. He's not hurting anybody.

Roger: Clint, come on, leave the kid here, holding the bag, like you said. I mean, he's nuts. He can't tell anybody squat.

Annie: We'll head for Canada and disappear into a small town. They'll never find us.

Clint: If we bail now, what do we get for all our trouble, huh? Zip! Nothing! No. No dice.

Roger: This kid is, like, way more trouble than he's worth.

Clint: Don't be so sure, Roger. I've got big plans for our boy Kevin.

Michael: What the hell is going--stop! Stop! Turn that camera off! Please, turn it off! Now! What are you doing?

Gloria: Kelly Mays from Channel 8, my son, Michael.

Kelli: Oh, the high-powered attorney. Gina Roma mentioned you.

Michael: Mentioned, huh? The word is slandered. She slandered me and she slandered my brother.

Kelli: We'd be happy to have you tell your side of the story.

Michael: Is that how you weaseled your way in here?

Kelli: No. She called me.

Michael: Okay, go. Now. Out. Now.

Kelli: Come on.

Michael: I liked you a lot better in prison.

Gloria: Did the judge issue a warrant?

Michael: I stopped it. For now.

Michael: Yeah, uh, hi, uh, Channel 8, legal. What was that?

Gloria: Come on, Michael, you heard the horrible things Gina was saying.

Michael: Oh, so you just took it upon yourself to, uh, call a pillar of the community a liar on television?

Gloria: I wouldn't waste my breath on her. I talked about Kevin.

Michael: What did you say? What did you say about Kevin?

Gloria: That he's a good boy.

Michael: Who is totally innocent? You said he was totally innocent?

Gloria: In a manner of speaking, yes.

Michael: In a manner of speaking? What does that mean, Gloria?

Gloria: People have to be told so they will understand that he's fragile.

Michael: Fragile? You called him fragile?

Gloria: Yes. Because of what happened to him when he was a child.

Michael: Oh, my God! Oh, my God!

Gloria: Stop it! I didn't do anything wrong!

Michael: Don't you understand how that sounds?! Like a confession! Like you were making excuses for your son, who just happens to be a cold-blooded killer!

Gloria: He didn't kill anybody! Those people didn't get hurt!

Michael: You think he planted that bomb. You think he did it.

Gloria: I don't know what to think.

Michael: It's Kevin. It's Kevin. He would never do--

Gloria: Never? Do you honestly know that, Michael? You and I know better than anybody... what he suffered... and how it affected him. He was a baby. He was just a little boy.

Roger: This is our last chance to get out of here. He's about this close to blowing his fuse. You wanna be here for that? We'll cut through the woods, hop the fence. We'll hitch. What are you doing?

Annie: We can't leave him here.

Roger: Clint wants this kid for something. Now you left Esther, you left Mrs. Chancellor. We take him, Clint comes after us. You wanna die for that guy?

Annie: Let's go.

Kevin: Please! Please! Please don't leave me here! Please! Please! Please don't leave me here!

(Door closes)

Kevin: (Shallow breathing)

Amber: Oh, Dr. Braun, what's the word?

Dr. Braun: Not good, I'm afraid. Dr. Sorenson retired, sent his records to a warehouse. None of the office workers could tell me where.

Amber: Well, you gotta track 'em down. I mean, there's gotta be someone who knows how to find them.

Kay: Amber, Amber, shh. Uh, is it possible that... they could've stored the records of a patient who died last year?

Dr. Braun: Highly unlikely.

Kay: I see.

Dr. Braun: You seem very disappointed.

Esther: Of course, she's disappointed. Those dental records were gonna prove her identity.

Dr. Braun: Or disprove it.

Kay: You expected me to be relieved that there's no evidence to expose my con game?

Amber: Oh, great. Great. So, in your mind, she's either crazy or a criminal, hmm? Oh, what about Esther and I? Are we just delusional?

Dr. Braun: You're grieving a dear friend.

Kay: And me?

Dr. Braun: Making a determination in your case will require more observation.

Kay: How much more?

Dr. Braun: Um... let's just see how it goes, shall we?

Kay: Doctor? Uh, you intend to keep me a virtual prisoner here while you poke around in my brain to see if I have all of my marbles?

Dr. Braun: I'm afraid so. Yes.

Billy: Are you ready?

Jill: Just give me a second.

Kay: Doctor, there's no-- no reason to keep me here for more observation. It's a total waste of everyone's time. The fact is, I'm not crazy. And I'm not Katherine Chancellor. I'm Marge Catrooke.

Heather: Nick? Hi.

Nick: Did you follow me here?

Heather: Look, did your-- did your father hear what I was saying about Adam?

Nick: Yeah, he heard.

Heather: Okay, well, what is he gonna do?

Nick: I have no idea.

Heather: Well, what did he say?

Nick: Nothing.

Heather: Nothing?

Nick: Yeah, we've all wasted enough time on Adam's scams.

Heather: This isn't a scam.

Nick: How would you know? I'm sorry, Heather, but you have zero credibility here.

Heather: Look, Adam doesn't even want anyone to find out. He's afraid of what the other inmates will do to him.

Nick: Just as popular in there as out here, huh?

Heather: How can you be so cold? Are you trying to be like your father?

Nick: Look, you have no idea who my father is, or what he's feeling. So why don't take your sob story somewhere else? No one's buying it.

Billy: I can't believe it. I was so sure that...

Jill: Honey, I did try to warn you.

Billy: Yeah.

Esther: I don't understand. You can't be Marge.

Amber: Of course she's not Marge, silly.

Esther: Then why are you saying that?

Kay: Because that infernal woman wanted to keep me here indefinitely.

Amber: And she's probably throw you in the psych ward.

Kay: I simply told the good doctor what she wanted to hear.

Gloria: You just can't understand what he went through. I mean, his father... was unspeakably cruel. And I tried to protect him, but I failed.

Kelli: Can you describe the abuse?

Gloria: He humiliated the boy. He would lock him in closets for hours, sometimes even days. And the beatings were--

(Television turns off)

Jana: Oh, no.

Michael: It's worse than I thought.

Gloria: No. Now people will understand.

Jana: No, Gloria, they won’t. They're gonna think he's a lunatic. "Damaged." Oh, God. Oh, God.

Daniel: Shh.
