Noah: (Sighs)
Jack: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, easy. Ea-easy. Hey, Noah. Noah.
Noah: (Sighs)
Jack: Everything's okay.
Noah: (Sighs)
Jack: Everything's okay. Everything's gonna be fine.
Noah: (Sighs) (Swallows hard)
Jack: There you go.
Noah: (Sighs)
Jack: (Sighs)
Noah: (Sighs) (Sighs) (Sighs)
Phyllis: Ooh. Officer, um, my husband doesn't know that our son is in the hospital. Uh, he just really needs to be down there with us. I--listen, I've driven all this way. Just a couple miles up the road is where the cab--
Man: Ma'am, there is no road. It's buried in snow.
Phyllis: Right. Right. Okay. So o-obviously, I can't get there, but if by some miracle, I can get a hold of him, um, can he get back to Genoa City?
Man: Road's closed coming and going. Plows won't even be out this way till after sunup.
Phyllis: So what you're telling me is he's stranded in that cabin overnight.
Phyllis: (Sighs)
Nick: You know, I'm sure the park ranger wasn't exaggerating about the roads being impassible. I mean, when I drove up here, I could barely see anything. It was like a total whiteout.
Sharon: Nick, what are we going to do? Noah's hurt. He's alone. We can't get to him. We can't even let him know that we'll be there.
Nick: He--he's in great hands, okay?
Sharon: (Sniffles)
Nick: The doctor said he's probably just gonna sleep through the night.
Sharon: Cassie fell through the ice before in our pond, and I wasn't there, and now... I can't let this happen. I can't let this happen again.
Nick: Sharon, it's not the same.
Sharon: You don't know that, Nick. Noah could take a turn for the worse and then... I don't care what that park ranger said. I don't care.
Nick: What are you-- what are you doing?
Sharon: I'm gonna find a way to get home.
Nick: Sharon.
(Door closes)
Michael: What a night, huh?
Lauren: Mm. I'm just so thankful that everything turned out okay.
Michael: After a few botched attempts at discipline on my part.
Lauren: (Laughs)
Michael: Thanks for the advice, by the way.
Lauren: Oh, you're very welcome. I'm glad it helped you get through to Eden.
Michael: I think she finally understood why we were so upset with her... (Inhales deeply) Although she does tend to hear only what she wants to hear. (Sighs)
Lauren: Aw, see? You're finally understanding teenagers.
Michael: Hmm.
Lauren: It's good, very good. All right, I'm gonna go check on the kids, and then I need to go to bed.
Michael: I'll get the lights.
Lauren: Okay.
Lauren: Michael, Eden's not in her room! She's gone!
Jack: Well, you missed all the drama.
Victor: I was on an overseas conference call. I got here as soon as I heard.
Jack: Noah's gonna be fine. He's sleeping right now. The doctors are gonna let him go home tomorrow.
Victor: So I'm told. Mm-hmm. Now that I'm here, there's no longer need-- need for you to stay.
Jack: I'm Noah's stepfather.
Victor: Not for long.
Jack: I repeat, I'm Noah's stepfather.
Victor: Then you send him a get well card. Right now, I'm going to see my grandson.
Victoria: I just got Summer back to sleep. Any word?
Colleen: I called all the hospitals, and Dad hasn't been admitted. And J.T. just spoke to a guy who can track where people's cell phones are.
(Keys clicking)
J.T.: Yeah, I called in a favor. Fortunately, Brad's phone is on, and it still has some juice.
Victoria: Oh, so you know where he is?
J.T.: Well, where his cell phone is, at least, within a certain range of a particular cell tower.
(Keys clicking)
J.T.: Huh. This is way the hell out in the boonies.
Colleen: What is Dad doing so far out of town on a night like this?
Victoria: Well, you know, the Abbott cabin's out that way.
Colleen: Good place to look as any.
Victoria: Now, Colleen, there's a-a major storm going on outside.
Colleen: And Dad could be stuck in it with no way of getting word to us. I'm not gonna stand around doing nothing.
J.T.: All right. We'll be back as soon as we can, all right?
Victoria: All right.
J.T.: I love you.
Victoria: I love you.
(Door opens)
Victoria: Um, you guys be careful, okay?
J.T.: Will do.
Victoria: It's treacherous out there.
(Door closes)
Jack: You can't throw me out of here, Victor. Of course, you're always welcome to try.
Victor: I'm not even gonna dignify that with a response, Jack.
Jack: How's number two son doing, the one you were so eager to see in jail? I understand he's at the state penitentiary. How's he doing up there?
Victor: That was your plan all along, wasn't it, to screw over my son to get back at me because you don't have the guts to confront me directly?
Jack: If that's what you need to believe, you go right ahead.
Victor: I wonder what your father would think about your backstabbing ways, Jack? Sometimes, I have a feeling you were the bastard son. Unlike your sister, you did not inherit your father's good traits.
Jack: You listen to me, you smug son of a bitch--
Ashley: Okay. Okay, wait a second. Whatever is happening...?
Jack: You leave my father out of this, you understand?
Ashley: Wait. Wait. Excuse me--it has to stop. We're in a hospital.
Victor: This is between your brother and me.
Ashley: Please.
Abby: How come you guys are so mad at each other? Is Noah okay?
Victor: He's fine.
Ashley: Where's his room?
Jack: It's right there. He's sleeping.
Ashley: Honey, why don't you go see how he's doing, all right? And I'll be in in a minute. Be really quiet.
Abby: Okay.
Ashley: Do you mind telling me what's going on?
(Door opens)
Victor: Your brother's overstaying his welcome.
Jack: Your boyfriend seems to think he owns this hospital.
Ashley: All right, look, Jackie, please, just walk away, okay? Let go of--
Jack: No, that's not gonna happen.
Ashley: Then do it for Noah, all right? 'Cause he doesn't need this right now.
Jack: Fine, I'll go get some coffee, but I'm not leaving.
Ashley: All right.
Jack: I'm not letting that jerk run me out of here.
Ashley: Okay. Thank you very much.
Abby: Dude, if you want attention, I can think of a lot of better ways.
Noah: (Sighs) Hey, have--have you seen Eden? Do you know if she's here, if she's okay? She was out there alone in the middle of nowhere.
Abby: I can't believe you're asking about that girl. If it weren't for her, this never would have happened.
Jack: Who you hiding from?
Nick: Okay. (Sighs) Let's get you out of this coat. (Sighs) Get in front of the fire. (Sighs) Get warm. (Sighs)
Sharon: (Sighs) I really want to see him, Nick, so badly.
Nick: (Sighs) I know, but with the way the snow is, I-I don't think I can dig either one of those cars out.
Sharon: This never would have happened if I were just at home where I belonged.
Nick: You don't know that, okay? The kid's a teenager. If he wants to get away from his mom, he's just gonna do it. And you came up here to get your head straightened out. You're going through a divorce. It's not easy.
Sharon: That's also the reason why I haven't been able to control him lately. I have been so immersed in my own problems, and now Noah's hurt, and he's alone, and I'm up here. I'm stuck miles away. He's probably wondering why we're not there, and I can't--just-- I can't take this, Nick. I need to see him.
Nick: Okay. Okay. I know. And I promise you, I'm gonna get you out of here as soon as I can do it safely. I promise you that.
Sharon: He's my baby. He needs me, and I need him to know that I am doing everything I can to be with him.
Nick: Will it help if you can talk to him? I can hike up to the ridge and see if I can get a signal. Will that make you feel better?
Sharon: Only if I can go with you, and I want to talk to him, too.
Nick: I-I don't even know if I can get a signal. It doesn't make sense for us to both be out there. You just sit tight. I'll be right back.
Michael: So much for congratulating ourselves on our parenting skills.
Lauren: I can't believe this. I cannot believe that Eden would sneak out after the night that we've had. What, is she trying to punish us for giving a damn about what happens to her?
Michael: I don't think I've ever seen you this upset.
Lauren: I have tried so hard to try and connect with her, to try and tell her that I empathize with her situation. I have tried to be a friend. I have tried to be her sister.
Michael: Listen, that-- maybe that's the problem. You know, we're not her parents, and when we try and make rules and set boundaries, in Eden's eyes, we're not her mother and fa--
Lauren: Okay, you--you--you call Jana. You call Jana.
Michael: What?
Lauren: Wait a minute. See if she can watch Fen. I know exactly where Eden went.
(Closet door opens)
Michael: Okay. Okay.
(Telephone buttons beeping)
Jack: You still haven't answered my question.
Eden: I'm applying to be a candy striper. What do you think I'm doing here?
Jack: Noah's fine. He's sleeping right now.
Eden: I'm not gonna wake him up. Please, don't be like everyone else.
Jack: It's just not a good idea.
Eden: Why?
Jack: Kiddo, you have both had a really rough day. Do Michael and Lauren even know you're here?
Eden: Yes.
Jack: Yes? Then you don't mind my calling them right now?
Eden: Fine. I'll go. Thanks for nothing.
Ashley: I just really wish you could let it go, at least for tonight.
Victor: Darling, as long as your brother stays out of the way, everything will be fine.
Ashley: Here's Abby.
Victor: How is Noah?
Abby: He was awake for a minute, but then he fell back to sleep.
Ashley: He must be exhausted.
Victoria: Hi.
Ashley: Hi.
Victor: Sweetheart, what are you doing driving in this weather?
Victoria: (Sighs) I'm sorry. I was just worried about Noah. I wanted to check on him.
Abby: Has anyone heard from Dad?
Victoria: Um, J.T. and Colleen went to look for him. They got a signal from his cell phone, so they have a pretty good idea of where he is.
Victor: Well, what's going on?
Abby: Well, Dad was supposed to have dinner with Colleen and me, but he never showed. That totally isn't like him.
Victoria: (Clears throat) No, it's really not. You know, quite a few people have left messages, and he hasn't returned any of the phone calls.
Victor: In other words, you're saying he's missing?
Abby: Mom, do you think he's okay?
Ashley: I think that your dad can handle almost any situation.
Dr. Gannon: Well, it seems like everyone's here except Mr. Newman.
Victor: I'm Victor Newman, Doctor. Are you Noah's physician?
Dr. Gannon: Yes.
Jack: Uh, this is Dr. Gannon. This is Noah's grandfather, his Aunt Victoria, my sister Ashley and her daughter Abby.
Dr. Gannon: Hi.
Victoria: It's good to meet you, Doctor. How's Noah doing?
Dr. Gannon: He's responded very well to the treatment. I'll be releasing him in the morning. That's why I'm looking for Nick Newman, the patient's father. I need him to fill out some paperwork.
Phyllis: Uh, Noah's parents won't be here by morning. I'm gonna have to take him home. I'll do that.
Dr. Gannon: Oh, very well, Mrs. Newman. I'll leave this with you. Go ahead and fill it out and return it to the nurses' station.
Phyllis: Thank you.
Dr. Gannon: Okay.
Phyllis: (Sighs)
Jack: I didn't expect to see you back so soon.
Phyllis: Well, the road to the cabin was closed. Um, the police closed it off. I wasn't able to get through. I guess Nick was.
(Sighs)
Jack: Where's Nick now?
Phyllis: Well, I hope he's safe with Sharon in the cabin. I would hate to think that he was lost, too.
Jack: You hope? Who are you talking to, Red? You would sooner he'd be wandering around Antarctica then holed up in a cozy hideaway with his ex.
Phyllis: Damn you, Jack.
Jack: It's been a long day. You're tired. Why don't you go home and get some rest?
Phyllis: I don't want to drive anymore in this weather.
Jack: You know what? I'll drive you out to the ranch. You can get a good night's sleep and come back and pick up Noah tomorrow.
Phyllis: Well, look at this. You're being nice to me. Why?
Jack: I used up my quota for "Nasty" today. Go ahead. Fill out the papers. I'll take you back to the ranch.
Colleen: Uh, Li-Lily, we just hit a roadblock, so, um, thanks for staying at Dad's. Just call me if you hear anything. Okay. Okay. Good-bye.
J.T.: (Sighs) The trooper's coming over to talk to us.
Man: Road's drifted shut. You have to detour out of here.
J.T.: Hey, we're looking for someone who's in the area and may have had some car trouble, got stranded--
Colleen: Or--or been in an accident.
J.T.: And he's in his 40s, about 6'2", dark hair, dark eyes, driving a dark green sedan with Wisconsin plates.
Colleen: He's my-- he's my father. Have you--have you seen him?
Man: Nope. Sorry. I'll keep an eye out for him. Where are you folks from?
Colleen: Genoa City.
Man: Well, the safest way back is, uh, Lake Shore Drive over to 50, then down Route 12.
J.T.: The scenic route.
Man: The other way is ravines and 2-foot drifts. Don't want to be fishing you nice folks out of here.
J.T.: Well, yeah, we'll play it safe. Thanks, Officer.
Man: Yeah.
J.T.: (Sighs)
Colleen: (Sighs) Now what?
Nick: Whew! Oh! (Sucks in air through teeth) Hey.
Sharon: Were you able to get through?
Nick: No. The, uh, the snowdrifts are just too high. I was able to get a-a signal for a couple minutes. I left a message for Phyllis and told her that we were snowed in. Then the signal gave out.
Sharon: You didn't talk to Noah?
Nick: Sharon, it's just gonna be for a couple of hours, okay? I mean, everything is gonna be fine. Trust me. By the time we get out of here, I promise you, Phyllis is gonna have Noah home from the hospital.
Sharon: Why are you here, Nick?
Nick: What--what are you talking about?
Sharon: Why didn't you just stay with Noah? At least he'd have one parent with him right now. You--you left our child sitting alone in a hospital room! Why did you do that?
Nick: I thought Noah needed his mother. I thought you should know what happened. And I could only imagine what it would have felt like to hear about this from somebody else. I-I-I guess if it wasn't for Cassie, then maybe I-I could have waited until the morning. Noah's fine and--and the roads are--are terrible, so I could have waited, and I know you would have understood. But after you've been through what we have, Sharon, I just... I don't know. I kind of--I kind of reacted. I really felt like... this is where I should be.
Sharon: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I understand. I-I appreciate you coming up here, and I know that you risked getting in an accident yourself. I... (Sniffles) (Voice breaking) I'm glad that you were with Noah when he first woke up. I just wish that I could have been, too.
Nick: I know.
Sharon: It must have been really hard for you when you saw him lying there.
Nick: Yeah, it was--it was awful. I felt like I couldn't breathe. I felt like I was the only person in the room. I mean, I looked at the bed, and... I saw Cassie. It took a minute to register that it was actually Noah there. I was really scared.
Sharon: I'm so sorry you had to face that alone.
(Pats Nick's leg)
Sharon: Well, were you able to talk to Eden at all? Did she explain what happened?
Nick: I guess Noah skated out further than he should have. He must have been showing off for her. I'm sure if she hadn't been there, it wouldn't have happened. But, uh, when the ice cracked and he fell in, Eden went to get help at some farmhouse. When she came back to the lake, Noah was unconscious lying on the ice.
Sharon: (Sighs) It was amazing that he was able to pull himself out of that freezing water.
Nick: If that's what happened. I mean, Noah can't remember. He doesn't know how he got out.
Colleen: (Sighs) We drove all this way in a stupid blizzard.
J.T.: Can I borrow your phone?
(Sighs)
Colleen: Yeah.
(Sniffles)
J.T.: Thanks.
(Cell phone buttons beeping)
J.T.: (Sighs)
Victoria: Colleen?
J.T.: Hey. (Sighs) No, it's me. I'm on her phone. Listen, the road to the cabin's closed, so we're on our way back.
Victoria: (Sighs) Any sign of Brad?
J.T.: No, not yet. (Sighs) But listen, it could take us a while. The roads are pretty slippery out here.
Victoria: Just take it easy, all right? I'm at the hospital, and Estella’s looking after the kids.
J.T.: Sounds like you've got it all covered.
Victoria: Just, if you have to, drive 10 miles an hour to get home, but just get home in one piece, okay? I love you.
(Cell phone closes)
Victoria: (Sighs) That was J.T.
Abby: Did he find Dad?
Victoria: No, not yet.
Abby: My stomach hurts. (Sighs)
Ashley: Honey, just take some deep breaths, okay?
Victor: Now, Sweetheart, I've known Brad Carlton for a long time. If he's in trouble, I'm sure that he'll survive, okay? Sit down. Come on.
Abby: (Clears throat)
Ashley: (Sighs)
Victor: Come on. Sit down. I think you're a very lucky girl, having two dads who love you. There's always a place you can turn to. Okay?
Abby: Okay.
Victoria: My dad is very good with her.
Ashley: Yeah, he is. I'm a little concerned.
Victoria: What?
Ashley: Oh, what it's gonna do to Abby... (Sighs) If your dad keeps pushing for Brad to resign from the board.
Victoria: Well, it will definitely put her in the middle.
Ashley: Especially with the espionage charges that he's ready to bring against him.
Victoria: (Sighs) Well, Brad just needs to resign quietly.
Ashley: Well, I was planning on talking to Brad...
Victoria: (Sighs)
Ashley: About making a graceful exit, you know, for Abby's sake. But in the meantime, maybe you and I could talk to Victor--
Michael: Hey, you guys.
Ashley: Hi. What's going on?
Lauren: (Sighs) Well, we're looking for Eden. Have you seen her?
Victoria: No, we haven't seen her.
Ashley: No.
Lauren: (Sighs) She was home, and then she just took off.
Michael: We were on our way here on a hunch when Jack called and said she was here. Excuse me.
Michael: (Inhales deeply) She's not in Noah's room.
Lauren: Well, she has to be somewhere in this building. I mean, where else would she have gone? (Sighs)
Jack: I'm pouring you a double, so you'll settle down.
Phyllis: Oh, all the brandy in the world isn't gonna do... how did this happen? (Sighs) How--how did this happen? I finally had the life that I dreamed of and a man that I'm crazy about and a man I thought was crazy about me.
Jack: I know. Everything was perfect, and you blew it.
Phyllis: Thank you. Your support is overwhelming.
Jack: What do you want me to do? Do you want some perspective, some insight or want to just blow off some steam?
Phyllis: Are you gonna be my shrink? Because I'm really not interested in that.
Jack: No, I'd like-- it's like your favorite neighborhood bartender. I am no position to dole out marital information.
Phyllis: Ain't that the truth?
Jack: So as a fellow sinner, I feel it my bound duty to present the obvious. Phyllis, you've been playing with four lives. It's about to blow up in your face.
Sharon: Eden had permission? Phyllis knows, because I told her, that every time Noah is with that girl, he lies. Maybe now she'll finally realize that there's a reason why we had to crack down on him.
Nick: Well, that reason is, for the first time ever, our son really likes a girl. He can't help himself, you know? It really messes with your head. And the reason I know that is because... the same thing happened to me the first time I ever saw you. It was like every brain cell in my head was just gone... overnight.
Sharon: It doesn't let Phyllis off the hook for this. Every time Eden talks Noah into something, it's a disaster waiting to happen.
Eden: So much for my bright ideas, huh? Let's go ice-skating way out in the country right before a huge snowstorm. Next time, just tell me to shut up, all right?
Noah: Shut... up.
Eden: (Sighs) Oh, my God, Noah. I'm so glad you're okay.
Noah: (Inhales deeply)
Eden: Please tell me you don't hate me.
Noah: (Sighs) Never.
Eden: I'm so sorry. I feel like such an idiot.
Noah: Don't, okay? It was my fault. I should have never gone that far out on the lake.
Eden: How do you feel?
Noah: (Sighs) Okay. Tired. Who else was out there?
Eden: At the lake? I didn't see anyone. I ran over to the farmhouse, and they called the ambulance. You were out yelling in the dark, and I felt so helpless. All I could think about was what would happen if I didn't get back in time.
(Door opens)
Abby: What are you doing here? You're the reason he almost died.
Noah: Don't blame Eden.
Abby: Of course I blame her.
Eden: We were having a private conversation.
Noah: (Sighs)
Abby: You need to go.
Eden: What are you, his mother?
Noah: Guys, don’t.
Abby: I care what happens to him.
Eden: Like I don't?
Abby: All you do is get him into trouble.
Michael: Hey, hey, hey. Look-- do you have any idea what time it is? We can hear you guys out in the hallway. Noah, uh, sorry about the accident, but Lauren and I are glad you're gonna be okay. But we'll be saying our "Good nights" now. Eden.
Eden: No. I just got here.
Noah: Michael, does Eden have to go?
Michael: Yes. Yes, she does. Let's go. Nice outfit.
Eden: Michael, would you just stop it?
Lauren: Eden?
Michael: We are going home.
Eden: No, but I don't want to go!
Michael: March.
Lauren: Yeah, right now.
Phyllis: Okay, I'm no better than you are, Jack.
Jack: Gee, I'll try not to take offense at that.
Phyllis: (Sighs) Truth? You and I, we're both realists. We are. We check out a situation, and we put a strategy into motion, and we do it. We don't sit around and moan and groan about our lot in life. We act.
Jack: Or we react. That's what got you into this trouble. (Sighs) You wouldn't have been able to topple my marriage with Sharon so easily if I hadn't laid the groundwork. (Inhales deeply) I tied the dynamite to the tracks. All you did was light the fuse. (Inhales deeply) And here you are, acting like Machiavelli just like me and coming up with basically the same results.
Phyllis: What do you mean, "The same results"? Are you saying that you think that Nick and Sharon are having an affair?
Jack: I was merely pointing out the bumpy nature of our individual relationships. A-an affair? Sure, it's possible. You got two cheaters who married other people. It must have occurred to you at some point that the odds are pretty good they might repeat.
Phyllis: Wow, I... thought talking to you would ease my mind. I guess not.
Victor: Uh, why don't you take Abby home?
Ashley: I'm gonna call and check on road conditions. If the plows have been through, then we're gonna be leaving soon.
Victor: Okay.
Victoria: Dad, I'll just stay. I'll keep you and Noah company.
Victor: By the way, did you have a chance to talk to Brad about the seat on the board of directors?
Ashley: No, I was gonna discuss it with him after his dinner with the girls.
Victor: In other words, you haven't talked to him about it.
Ashley: No, I haven’t. But did you see Abby's reaction when she realized that we can't find Brad? I hope you're gonna rethink this taking this whole mess public, please.
Victoria: Listen, we need to find a way to resolve this...
Ashley: (Sighs)
Victoria: Without traumatizing a lot of people.
Ashley: I agree.
Victor: Brad Carlton will show up. We'll discuss it then, all right?
Jack: In my case... (Sighs) My ambition got the better of me.
Phyllis: Well, my only ambition is my family and Nick and keeping that solid.
Jack: You know what, Phyllis? If things were right with you and Nick, that shouldn't be a full-time job.
Phyllis: Oh. (Sighs)
Phyllis: I have a wonderful life. I have an incredible life. I really do. Incredible family and a husband-- he's a good man. (Voice breaking) A beautiful little girl. (Normal voice) I'm just scared to death that I'm gonna lose it, 'cause that's what always happens. I can just never hang on to anything, so I've just been holding on... (Voice cracking) To Nick so tight, and I think I've been suffocating him. (Normal voice) And I just pushed him into Sharon's arms. And I just-- this jealousy that I have, Jack, it’s... (Sighs) It's bigger than me. I-I don't know what to do with it.
Jack: Funny thing about jealousy-- unless you're a total whack job... (Sighs) It doesn't just spring up out of nowhere. Something makes it happen. I am not an insecure guy. Nick has been an almost constant feature of my entire marriage to Sharon. (Sighs) Those two have given us plenty of reason to worry.
Phyllis: So do you think they're having an affair? Do you think they're at that cabin right now?
Jack: I think there's nothing we can do about it right now. That's not to say we should be happy, or we should just roll over and not fight it with everything in us.
Nick: You know, we should try and get some sleep. When it gets light out, I'll go outside and see how things look.
Sharon: Nick, about before... I'm sorry I got a little hysterical.
Nick: (Sighs) You don't have to apologize. I understand.
Sharon: Of course you would.
Nick: So I'll just, uh, sack out on the couch. You got some extra blankets in this joint?
Sharon: Yep. In there.
Nick: Thanks.
Sharon: So I'm gonna get ready for bed then, and I'll just pop back out later and make sure you have everything you need.
Nick: Okay. Good night.
Nick: (Sighs)
[Nick reads Sharon’s note]
Sharon's voice: Dear Nicholas, I've spent the past couple of days alone with four walls and my own thoughts. I've run back my life like a movie and tried to just watch, to look at it and see if I can understand how I've ended up here. I decided I had to face the truth unblinking, no matter how difficult that is. Now I'm writing to you because I couldn't keep this to myself anymore. .
Eden: I was begging to see Noah when we were at the hospital. You--you said, "No, we're going home." I just wanted to see with my own eyes that he was all right. I mean, is that so unreasonable?
Michael: (Laughs) No, what's unreasonable is you sneaking out in the middle of a major storm without telling us. What's unreasonable is you hitchhiking to a hospital late at night, and you know how dangerous that is.
Lauren: You know what? You expect us to treat you like an adult, but all I've seen so far is a defiant child. Our dearest friend's son almost died because of your irresponsible behavior, and that blatant disrespect is over, and now. Otherwise, there are going to be serious consequences.
Abby: Okay, well, I said good-bye to Victor.
Ashley: Let's head home. I called and checked. The main road to the ranch is in pretty decent shape.
Abby: What about where Dad is? Is it still blizzarding?
Victoria: Uh, probably, Honey. That's probably why we haven't heard from him.
Abby: Well, can we call him one more time? Or maybe J.T. and Colleen to see if they know anything.
Victoria: Uh, yeah. J.T. should be home by now.
Ashley: You know what? I'm concerned, too. Let's try again, okay? It's gonna be all right.
Abby: (Sighs)
(Muffled cell phone ringing)
Colleen: It looks like Dad's car.
J.T.: Oh, nobody's inside.
Colleen: Abandoned in the middle of nowhere. (Sobs) Where is he? (Sighs) Oh, my God. Where is he?
Noah: (Inhales deeply) (Groans)
Victor: Hey, hey.
Noah: (Sighs)
Victor: I'm here now. Anything you need?
Noah: No. When are Mom and Dad coming?
Victor: They are up at the cabin and caught in the storm, but they'll be all right. Phyllis will take you home in the morning, and then your parents should arrive soon thereafter.
Noah: I haven't seen Mom since the accident.
Victor: I'll be here all night. So will Victoria, by the way. She's outside.
[Noah remembering]
Noah: Help! Somebody help, please!
Victor: What? What's going on?
Noah: Um, I think someone helped me.
Victor: Somebody helped you with what?
Noah: At the lake. Um, someone pulled me out of the water. They saved my life.
Victor: Do you remember who that was?
Noah: (Sighs)
Jack: I'll call you in the morning and talk about when you want to pick up Noah.
Phyllis: Okay, yeah. Let's do that, definitely. (Sighs) You know, I was surprised to hear you say that you weren't giving up on your marriage. I thought that you had accepted your divorce.
Jack: I've been served divorce papers. I've been told a dozen times by Sharon that it's over. Do I accept that? No way in hell.
Phyllis: Does Sharon know that?
Jack: Sharon knows that I love her. If there's some way to save this, then you better believe I'm gonna do it. As for you...
Phyllis: (Laughs) I'll try, uh, to keep my insecurities at bay. (Voice breaking) Easier said than done.
Jack: Isn't it always that way?
Sharon's voice: Maybe if we could have grieved Cassie together, it would have been different. I still can't accept this is where we are. So much has changed. I think I've finally grown up. But even now, there is one constant that defines my life. I'm the girl who fell in love with you. And all these years later, I'm still in love with you, Nicholas. I know this is unfair as hell, but if I don't tell you, I'll regret it for the rest of my days and always wonder if there was any chance that you and I could be together again.
Sharon: Is-- is that, um...
Nick: Your letter to me? Yeah.
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Victor: I promise you, Brad Carlton, I'll destroy what's left of your reputation.
Abby: Why would Victor say that to my dad?
Sharon: Give it to me. I'll burn it. We can pretend it never happened.
Murphy: Whatever happens, I promise, you won't be alone.
