J.T.: You okay, Mr. Carlton?

Brad: I won't be until I know my daughter's safe.

J.T.: I keep thinking I might get a phone call from her, and this is all gonna be a big mistake.

Brad: Can't think of a single place she might be except... it's not like she has a car that could have broken down.

J.T.: I called all her school friends.

Brad: Guess John and Gina left.

J.T.: Yeah. Mr. Abbott took Gina back to his place. She's homeless now.

Brad: Oh, my God. That's right. Her apartment was above the restaurant.

J.T.: I never should have left Colleen alone at the coffeehouse. A few hours ago, she was so happy, so excited, looking forward to tonight. And now... oh, God, please don’t...

Brad: I don't give a damn. I'm going in.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kevin: Sorry, Colleen. You should have never messed with me, because I'm bad. I'm bad. I'm the baddest of the bad.

Brittany: Am I interrupting something?

Kevin: What the hell? Are you eavesdropping?

Brittany: Oh, get a life. I'm looking for Bobby. If you want to talk to yourself, be my guest.

Kevin: I'm sorry. I was just, uh... you startled me.

Brittany: Don't worry about it. Have you seen Bobby?

Kevin: Yeah. He was just here. He said he was gonna go, you know, check on things in the club.

Brittany: Gotcha. I think I left some sheet music here. So you're working late.

Kevin: Yeah. Hey, did you go to that party with Bobby?

Brittany: Mm-hmm.

Kevin: How was it?

Brittany: It was okay.

Kevin: Newman ranch, huh? Pretty snazzy.

Brittany: Most of the people there were pretty stiff.

Kevin: Probably from wearing all that heavy jewelry, huh, and the guys with the extra starch in their shirts?

Brittany: Yeah, something like that. Darn. Where did I leave that? Wonder if Bobby stuck it in his desk.

Brittany: Look out. I just want to see if he put it in here.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Victor: Did you forget something?

Sharon: (Gasps)

Victor: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you.

Sharon: It's okay, Victor. I just came to grab my purse. I stuffed it over here and forgot it after the gala. It's really just a comb and a lipstick. I could have--

Victor: Well, it's all right. It gives me a chance to express my appreciation for what you did tonight. Did a hell of a job.

Sharon: I thought it went pretty well. I mean, in spite of...

Victor: In spite of what happened with Ashley?

Sharon: You're really concerned about her, aren't you?

Victor: I'm very concerned about her. It saddens me, to be frank with you. But let's not dwell on that. I just want to tell you that you did a wonderful job tonight.

Sharon: Thank you so much. You know, it would not have turned out the way that it did if Nikki hadn't come to the rescue.

Victor: Hmm.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Victoria: You're really scaring me, Nicholas.

Nick: Why? Because I want to find out what went down? Why our products are selling better than others? I would think you would want to know the truth, too.

Victoria: Look, if we did get some kind of boost, it doesn't matter. In the end, you have to be better. That's the only way you stay on top.

Nick: Okay, that is nonsense. Jabot is hanging onto life by its fingertips. If we can knock out their cash flow for even a couple of weeks, we could be out one serious competitor. So don't give me this B.S. About how, in the end, the good guy always wins, because sometimes that isn't the case.

Victoria: You know, the last time I checked, Jabot was still in business.

Nick: Yeah, on life support.

Victoria: And that's our problem?

Nick: Yeah, maybe it is. Vic, you know me. I like winning. I like beating the other guy. I don't even mind knocking the other guy out of business, if it's done fairly. If it's done unfairly or illegally, yeah, that would bother me, and it should bother you, too.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raul: Can I get you something to drink? Some juice or water? We don't have much, but--

Lauren: No, no. No, really. It's late. I want to get going. Frankly, that scene at the gala was enough for me.

Raul: Yeah? Which one?

Lauren: Ha ha. Good point. I don't want to be here when Brittany shows up.

Raul: Lauren, did Brittany say something to you over there?

Lauren: Well, let's just say I'm not exactly her favorite person.

Raul: Well, you know what? She has no right to complain. She showed up there with that gorilla.

Lauren: Yes, but I don't think that's gonna make her any happier to see me.

Raul: Well, that's her choice.

Lauren: You know, her feelings for you have not changed. She's very territorial.

Raul: Yeah? Well, still, it's not my fault that she's all bent out of shape.

Lauren: It also doesn't change the fact that she was miserable tonight, and so were you.

Raul: I didn't say that. I had a good time.

Lauren: Please, this is me. You don't have to put on an act. It's obvious that you still have feelings for her.

Raul: No, I did have feelings for her. Lauren, there's nothing I can do about that now.

Lauren: Yes, there is. You can accept who she is. You can just get over what she does for a living and be happy. I know from bitter experience, you do not walk away from someone that means this much to you.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brittany: Oh, here it is. Finally. What's up with you?

Kevin: Uh, nothing. I was just, um... you smell good.

Brittany: Thank you. Well, I got to go.

Kevin: Um, Marilyn?

Brittany: Yeah.

Kevin: Uh, listen, I'm gonna tell you something, but you have to promise to keep it to yourself.

Brittany: Okay.

Kevin: You should be careful with Bobby.

Brittany: Why?

Kevin: Because he's not sincere.

Brittany: Your name's Kevin, right?

Kevin: Yeah.

Brittany: Look, I really don't appreciate that. I don't need Bobby to be sincere. We have a business relationship.

Kevin: That's all?

Brittany: Yes, that's all, and you're way out of bounds. I don't know what you're little mind is cooking up--

Kevin: Whoa, whoa, whoa. I mean, stop. Please, Marilyn, I didn't mean offense by that. Honest. You just seem like a nice girl. Not like the other ones in this place, and I only... you know, I was worried that you might be in over your head. I've been around longer than you have.

Brittany: Yeah, I'm sure.

Kevin: So you ought to be careful.

Brittany: Well, thanks for the warning.

Kevin: Uh, Marilyn... uh, I don't know what your situation is, but, um, I was wondering if you might like to, you know, get together some time, outside of this place.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cop: No, no, sir. Hey, hey, back off. You're not going in there.

Brad: My daughter may be in there, and I'm gonna find her.

Cop: Look, I'm very sorry for that, I understand what you're feeling, but--

Brad: You don't understand anything. I said that my daughter's in there.

Cop: Get back away from me. Get outta my face.

J.T.: Wait back here, okay?

Brad: What do you want to wait for? Colleen could be hurt in there. She could be dead--

J.T.: Don't say it. Don’t. She's alive, okay? There's tons of places she could be.

Brad: What about her cell phone?

J.T.: Maybe she lent it to somebody. Or she stopped by here earlier, and it fell out of her purse or something.

Brad: Then where the hell is she?

J.T.: I don't know.

Brad: J.T., My wife and I just lost a baby.

Brad: If I lose Colleen, I just... God, I just couldn't bear it.

J.T.: We can't give up, okay? Wherever she is, we're gonna find her. Everything's gonna be all right.

Brad: Not if she's in there, it won’t.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Victor: Did Nikki bail you out?

Sharon: She didn't tell you?

Victor: No.

Sharon: Oh, well, the caterers' van was in an accident on the way over here, along with all of our food. The elegant dinner that we had been planning for weeks was completely unsalvageable.

Victor: I had no idea.

Sharon: Well, because there was plenty of food, right? Except that it came out a little late, none of our guests were the wiser thanks to Nikki. She got on the phone with the colonnade room. They sent over a feast in a moment's notice.

Victor: My goodness. Well, how many favors did that cost her?

Sharon: Plenty, I'm sure.

Victor: Yeah.

Sharon: But the point is, she could have let the evening be a total flop, and me along with it.

Victor: Yeah, but she didn’t.

Sharon: Give the devil her due, right?

Victor: Mm-hmm.

Sharon: Nikki showed a lot of class. Because I doubt that I could have gotten François to pull off a miracle like that.

Victor: My goodness. Well, it shows that Nikki has a lot of clout in this town.

Sharon: If I didn't know that before, I certainly do now. And I'm really surprised she didn't mention it to you.

Victor: She didn’t. And I think that shows a lot of class on her part.

Victor: Perhaps now you may change your attitude a little bit about her. And hopefully, after she has seen what you did tonight, she'll change her attitude about you.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Victoria: Some pretty serious allegations, Nicholas.

Nick: I need to know what went down.

Victoria: You think this all started when he hired Michael Baldwin?

Nick: You don't need Michael Baldwin for anything but dirty work.

Victoria: You act like he's the root of all evil.

Nick: No, no, he is a tool, used for a certain kind of job. I'm not saying he corrupted our father, because whatever happened was certainly dad's idea.

Victoria: And that's re really the point, isn't it? You're just looking for a way to nail Victor Newman’s hide to the barn door.

Nick: Hey, if he's guilty, then you bet.

Victoria: God, this whole thing just gives me chills. How far are you willing to take this?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brittany: Listen, Kevin--

Kevin: I mean, I know I'm a bookkeeper, but, uh, there's a lot more to me than that.

Brittany: Well, I'm sure there is. I just don't think we have enough in common.

Kevin: So what? Variety is the spice of life.

Brittany: Yeah, and life is short, too. Look, I'm trying to be nice. No, thank you.

Kevin: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Where do you get off? You're a stripper, for god sakes, and you're acting like you're too good for me.

Brittany: Whoa! Chill out. I never said that. I just don't want to go out with you. Look, Kevin, I'm gonna do you a favor and not tell Bobby about this, but you only get one warning. I'm leaving now. Don't talk to me anymore, okay? And by the way, I'm a sing.

Kevin: I'd be careful, Marilyn. 'Cause you never know who can help your career... or who can make it go up in smoke.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dru: Look at this. Excuse me. Excuse me. Oh, my God.

Neil: Excuse me.

Dru: Oh, my God.

Neil: Brad, when you said that there was a fire, we thought you meant a kitchen blaze or something.

Dru: How the hell did this happen?

Brad: We don't know. Now listen up, all of you. Colleen is missing.

Sierra: What?

J.T.: We were hoping one of you might know where she is.

Sierra: You mean, you guys didn't go to the gala?

J.T.: No, we were supposed to.

Brad: When did you see her last?

Sierra: Late afternoon, I guess.

J.T.: No, no, m sure I saw her after that.

Brad: What about you, Lily? When's the last time you saw Colleen?

Dru: Uh, Lily didn't go to school today.

Neil: Yeah, we have reason to believe that she ditched to be with her friend Kevin.

Lily: Yeah, when she and Sierra came by my apartment this afternoon.

J.T.: Yeah, that's right. Colleen told me about that.

Brad: What did you talk about?

Lily: Nothing. They weren't there to see me. They were there to talk to my parents.

Brad: Why?

Lily: Ask her. She thinks that she's got all the answers.

J.T.: Why are you looking at Sierra like that?

Lily: Look, what I want to know is why you dragged us all out here in the middle of the night to give us the third degree.

J.T.: Because we're trying to find Colleen, okay?

Brad: And one of you may have been the last person to see her alive.

Neil: All right, Brad, Brad--

Brad: Don't tell me, "all right." I want answers.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lauren: So you're just telling me that your feelings for Brittany are just gone just like that.

Raul: Why are you so hung up on how I feel about Brittany?

Lauren: Because you are. Look at the way you reacted tonight.

Raul: So what? So it bugged me that she showed up there with her boss.

Lauren: It's more than that. You're still drawn to her, and anyone can see it.

Raul: Yeah, if that's what they want to see, I guess.

Lauren: Look, I'm not putting you down for this.

Raul: Why are we still talking about this? So I'm not as over Brittany as I thought I was. Reminding me is not going to make it happen.

Lauren: No, it's more than that. You don't want it to happen.

Raul: Oh, right, because I love being miserable, Lauren.

Lauren: No, because you're still in love with her. Look, there are times when your heart gets broken that, yes, you pick up the pieces, and you move on. But then there are other times where it's important to go back and work out what went wrong.

Raul: You mean like her stripping?

Lauren: There has to be another solution.

Raul: Not if she won't quit her job.

Lauren: Is that what this is really about? Because you know what, honey? She's never going to be exactly who you want her to be.

Raul: That's fine. That doesn't mean she has to be the complete opposite. If I say yes, she says no. I say up, she says down. How's that supposed to work out, Lauren?

Lauren: Well, I'm sure you have some sort of common ground.

Raul: Yeah, we did until we both realized that we're millions of miles apart.

Lauren: Did you ever think that maybe that's why you fell in love with her? You know, it's really easy to be with someone who's exactly the same as you, but it's as boring as hell. I mean, there are no surprises. There's no arguing.

Raul: Oh, I can live with that one.

Lauren: Could you? Because, you know, if there's no arguing, there's no making up. And life is too short to be bored. Yon need passion and intensity.

Raul: Yeah, but, Lauren--

Lauren: No, there are no buts. You feel what you feel, and you know what? You're not going to be happy unless you try again.

Brittany: Oh, I'm sorry. Am I interrupting something?

Lauren: No, actually, I was just leaving.

Brittany: Oh, please don't feel you have to leave on my account.

Lauren: Not to worry. I wouldn't do that. Would you think about what I said? (Whispers) talk to her.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sharon: I saw a different side of Nikki tonight, and it reminded me of when I felt like I was a real part of this family.

Victor: It would be so nice if the two of you got along, stopped all the infighting.

Sharon: Who knows? Maybe there's hope for Nikki and me. I think Victoria is another story, though.

Victor: Why Victoria? Did you have another run-in or what?

Sharon: No, nothing like that. She just doesn't have a kind word for me lately.

Victor: Was she rude to you at the gala?

Sharon: No, it was more afterwards down at her place. She and Nick are working down there.

Victor: At this hour? What are they doing?

Sharon: I have no idea. Whatever it is, they seem pretty intense, and they wanted me out of there.

Victor: Why would they be working, and what are they working on?

Sharon: That's all they told me-- that it was work, that it was very important, and I should toddle on home and let them worry about it.

Victor: That is strange, I mean, I can't imagine what would be so urgent for them to be working at this hour.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nick: Victoria, I don't know how far this is gonna go. It depends on what I find out.

Victoria: All right, so you have this meeting tomorrow with Peter Hudson, this big-shot buyer from Nelson's department stores, and you're going to pretend to be Michael Baldwin’s assistant. I mean, don't you think that sounds like it's a little out there?

Nick: I'm going to see if he'll tell me about his arrangement with Baldwin, and after spending 30 seconds on the phone with this guy, trust me, he will crack.

Victoria: Nicholas, there are so many more productive ways for you to spend your time and energy. I mean, this is insane. It's crazy.

Nick: Well, I'm sorry you feel that way, but I don't think it's crazy at all. If the success we had with Safra is due to Dad's bribing people at the stores--

Victoria: What, then he deserves to roast in hell?

Nick: I never said that.

Victoria: All right, look. Let's say you find what you're looking r-r--what then? I mean, what? Have a meeting with Dad and discuss the moral fiber of Newman Enterprises. You know what? I'll sit in on that meeting. But if you are even considering going public with this, you can most certainly count me out.

Nick: All right, whatever. It's nice to know who's on your side once the shooting starts.

Victoria: Listen to yourself. This is not a war.

Nick: Victoria, good night. Thank you for your time.

Victoria: Nicholas!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brittany: So is Lauren living here now? Seems like she's here every time I come home.

Raul: Why are you exaggerating?

Brittany: Am I? It seems like anything's possible. I never thought I'd walk in and see you two sucking face in our apartment.

Raul: Well, now you know how I felt seeing you wearing that necklace that your new boyfriend bought you.

Brittany: You mean Bobby?

Raul: Is there another one that I don't know about?

Brittany: Well, first of all, he's not my boyfriend. Second, I gave that necklace back. You can't exactly give Lauren back that kiss I walked in on.

Raul: Oh, your poor little virgin eyes, Brittany. Trust me, it's not the same as walking into some strip club and finding out that your girlfriend's the main attraction.

Brittany: Look, I already told you, Raul, that's temporary until I can get my singing career off the ground.

Raul: Right okay. You know what? That's not even the point.

Brittany: Well, what is the point? I strip, so I have no right to be disgusted by you kissing your boss, who's old enough to be your mother?

Raul: You know what? At least I was out in the open about it. I don't know what happens backstage at that stupid club of yours. You know, I'm really curious, Brittany, how come you always have to work so late?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nick: Still awake?

Sharon: I told you I would be.

Nick: I hope you're not going to give me some lecture on how late it is.

Sharon: Um, since when do I lecture you, Nicholas?

Nick: Sorry. I guess I'm a little on edge.

Sharon: Is it because of all those sales reports you and your sister were poring over?

Nick: What time did Cassie go to bed?

Sharon: Actually, she stayed up pretty late. She kept me company.

Nick: That's good. It seems like you two are making some progress.

Sharon: Yeah, she was in a pretty good mood. I think she had a nice time this evening with Adam. And he seemed like a nice boy, don't you think?

Nick: I plead the fifth.

Sharon: Yes, dad.

Nick: He's a good kid. You know, I'm glad they had good time.

Sharon: They seemed to.

Nick: Everyone did. I heard compliments all night. You really did yourself proud.

Sharon: Thank you.

Nick: Let's go to bed, okay? I'm tired.

Sharon: Um, Nicholas, before we head up, I just need a few questions answered.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dru: Brad, are you telling me you think Colleen was in there?

Brad: I don't want to believe it, so if anyone has any idea about somewhere else she might be--

Sierra: I don't get it. Why would you think Colleen was here?

Brad: Because they found her cell phone in the rubble.

J.T.: Did colleen mention any plans to come here?

Sierra: Not to ..

J.T.: What you guys don't know is after I left Colleen at the coffeehouse, somebody called Cody and left a message that her grandfather wanted to meet her here.

Brad: Only Mr. Abbott didn't make that call, and nobody knows who did.

Neil: So you think it was a prank?

Brad: It's a hell of a coincidence, isn't it, Neil? She gets a message to meet her grandfather here. It turns out to be bogus. The next thing you know the place catches fire.

Dru: The place catches on fire.

Neil: Let me understand this correctly. You think that someone actually lured her here?

Brad: I don't know what else to think, Neil. All I know is my daughter is missing.

Dru: What did the firemen say?

Brad: The fire started when Gina’s was closed, and they don't think anyone was inside.

Lily: So why don't you believe them?

Dru: Because he is a concerned parent, Lily, just like your father and I would be if you vanished into thin air.

J.T.: The cell phone was inside.

Brad: Lily, did you spend any time with this Kevin tonight?

Lily: I told you, no!

Neil: Listen, I can verify that she wasn't with him when I was over there.

J.T.: You saw Kevin?

Neil: Yes, I saw Kevin earlier today. I threatened that punk with jail if he comes anywhere near my daughter again.

J.T.: How'd you know where to find him?

Neil: Because colleen told us where that creep lived.

Lily: Dad, do not call him that. Kevin is not a creep.

Brad: Wait a minute, does he know how you found him? Did you tell him that Colleen's the one who ratted him out?

Neil: I may have.

Brad: You may have? Think, Neil, think about it! What did you say?

Neil: Okay, Brad, I probably mentioned that her friends told me, yes.

Lily: Wait, what are you guys getting at?

J.T.: Kevin hated Colleen. They had bad run-ins. I told her to watch out for that guy.

Brad: They had run-ins? They had run-ins? Was he threatening my daughter? Was he threatening her, J.T.? Why didn't you tell me about this?

Lily: What are you saying? You think Kevin started this fire? That's insane!

Sierra: Oh, my God, Lily, Colleen's missing! We've been telling you for weeks that this guy's a freak and that he's dangerous. Are you blind, Lily? What is the matter with you?

Brad: I want to see this Kevin. Do you hear me? I want to see this Kevin. I want to see him now

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nick: Babe, I am totally exhausted. Can this wait till the morning?

Sharon: Nick, you already put me off once down at Victoria’s.

Nick: So?

Sharon: So what's the big secret?

Nick: There's no secret.

Sharon: Could have fooled me. Come on, what were you two talking about?

Nick: It's just business stuff. That's it.

Sharon: Okay, what kind of business stuff?

Nick: It's nothing for you to worry about.

Sharon: Why, because I'm too stupid and inexperienced to read a printout?

Nick: Sharon, nobody said that.

Sharon: Well, you might as well have. I mean, I felt so patronized.

Nick: Well, I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean to make you feel like that. Could we please just go to bed?

Sharon: I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep unless you explain things to me.

Nick: What things? What are you so concerned about?

Sharon: I'm not concerned. I'm just curious. What were you two looking at?

Nick: It's Newman sales figures, all right?

Sharon: All right. For what? Any particular division?

Nick: What does it matter, and why are you so interested?

Sharon: What I'm interested in is the fact that you obviously don't want to tell me and neither does Victoria.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brittany: You're hitting below the belt.

Raul: Oh, yeah?

Brittany: Bobby and I have a professional relationship. I have nothing to hide.

Raul: Obviously not.

Brittany: You know what? I've had a really long day, and I don't want to argue anymore. So if Lauren’s what you want, then fine, I'll deal. But I don't think she's going to be the perfect angel that you expect all of your girlfriends to be.

Raul: Damn it, Brittany, hold on a second, okay? I want to talk to you.

Brittany: Really? Are you sure you don't mean you want to lecture me or insult me?

Raul: No, I'm serious. Look, I'm sorry, okay? I crossed the line. It's just I cannot get past the fact that you take off your clothes for strange men night after night, men who are leering at you, looking at you like you're a piece of raw meat.

Brittany: Okay, I get it. You don't like what I do. I wish you could get past it. Anyway, good night.

Raul: Wait a second. That's not even what I want to talk to you about. Look, what you saw, that kiss-- it didn't mean anything.

Brittany: I don't know, Raul. It looked pretty intense to me.

Raul: It didn't feel right.

Brittany: Then what were you doing with her at the gala?

Raul: The same thing that you were doing with Bobby, just trying to have a good time. Now sure, Lauren-- she's an incredible woman, but I'm not in love with her, and she knows that.

Brittany: And I'm not in love with Bobby either. He's just my boss.

Raul: Like Lauren’s my boss.

Brittany: Yeah, but the difference is, I don't want it to be anything more than that.

Raul: I just, I wish that you would have told me the truth about the damn necklace from the beginning, because I had all these-- these visions in my head.

Brittany: I'm sorry. There's nothing else I can say.

Raul: Maybe not. You know, we used to have something really special, Brittany.

Brittany: Yeah, we did.

Raul: It's too bad we're so far apart right now.

Brittany: That's not all my fault.

Raul: I'm not saying that it's all your-- it's just that I'm in love with only one woman in the world, and I don't know if any good can come from it. It was just really damn hard to let go.

Brittany: What are you getting at?

Raul: I guess what I'm asking is... do you think we can get beyond this? Is there any chance for us, Brittany?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lily: Look, I don't know where Kevin is.

Brad: Does he have a phone number or an address?

Lily: He wouldn't do anything like this. He just--he wouldn’t.

Dru: Lily!

Neil: Hey, Lily, where do you think you're going?

Brad: Sierra, when you said this guy's a freak, what do you mean?

Sierra: Well, Colleen's talked to him a lot more than I have, but we both think he's really weird. He uses teenage girls.

Dru: Uses them how?

Sierra: How do you think?

Neil: Sierra, what are you talking about? Are you telling me that Kevin and Lily are--

Sierra: Well, we don't know for sure, Mr. Winters.

Dru: But that's what you're thinking.

Neil: Oh!

Brad: Sierra, do you have any idea where Colleen might be, where she might have gone?

Sierra: I wish I did.

Brad: Do you think it's possible that this freak, this predator, this bastard might have...

Brad: No. Not Colleen. Not my baby.

Colleen: Hi, and welcome to body and health. I'm Colleen Walsh.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brittany: Do we have a chance? I don't know, Raul. To me, that pretty much depends on you.

Raul: On whether or not I can deal with you working at Marsino's?

Brittany: I meant what I said at the gala. You were the person I wanted to be there with.

Raul: Hey, I wanted to be there with you, too, but, Brittany--

Brittany: No "buts. You know the way I feel about you. That hasn't changed. And you can talk about that necklace Bobby gave me all you want, but it killed me when I walked in and saw you kissing Lauren. And then when you took her to the gala--

Raul: Hold on. That's not the same thing, and you know it.

Brittany: Don't start, okay? I know what you're gonna say.

Raul: Yeah, are you sure?

Brittany: Yeah, you've been like a broken record. I don't want to hear it again.

Raul: What do you want to hear, Brittany?

Brittany: Something nice, poetry, I don't know. You never used to have a problem thinking of things to say before.

Raul: I'm a little short on words right now.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nick: Why are you making such a big deal out of this?

Sharon: Maybe because you are.

Nick: Sharon, it's late, all right?

Sharon: I know. I'm not trying to rtrture you here with sleep deprivation. I just can't help wondering why you're so determined to hide whatever it is you were doing from me.

Nick: You're the one who's putting that spin on it.

Sharon: Notice how I have yet to get a straight answer. Look, is it something that you don't want getting out? Are you afraid that I would tell someone? Why would I do that?

Nick: I'm not accusing you of anything.

Sharon: Well, who would I even tell? I mean, who would you-- oh, yeah. Who else?

Nick: What are you talking about?

Sharon: Whatever it is that you and Victoria were up to, did it have to do with Victor?

[Lily remembering]

Kevin: I just thought maybe your friends would have turned you against me. Well, maybe your friend isn't as turned off by me as you might think.

Lily: What do you mean?

Kevin: See, I knew I shouldn't have said anything.

Lily: Wait, you're not saying that she came on to you, are you?

Kevin: You know what? Let's just forget it. It's--

Lily: Because colleen would never do anything like that, not in a million years.

Kevin: What, are you saying that I'm lying?

Kevin: I'm sorry that colleen and sierra are giving you a hard time about this, but you're going to have to make a choice-- them or me.

Lily: Kevin, please.

Kevin: I'm sorry, but I can't go on like this. They're always attacking me, making you question me. That's no way to live.

Lily: No, I don't want to give you up. I won't do that. God, why are they doing this to me, to us? I thought they were my friends. Why can't they just understand?

Kevin: Well, they're not your friends. But don't worry. I'm not going to let them come between us again.

Lily: Colleen, where are you? What has happened to you?

Kevin: Lily.
