Victor: This has been a very long day for me, and there's nothing I'd rather do than go upstairs to bed. This can't wait till tomorrow?

Sharon: It'll only take a few minutes.

Victor: Does nicholas know you're here?

Sharon: No, uh, I haven't even been home yet.

Victor: Well, now don't you think you better check with your family first?

Sharon: Yes, I will, but as soon as I tell you what I came to say.

Victor: Is there a problem about the gala tomorrow?

Sharon: You know, I still have so many things that I have to do about that gala, but, um, I didn't come here to talk to you about that. I have something else that I have to say, something that you need to hear.

Dru: I fe like mama with this milk and cookies. Just like old times, huh?

Olivia: Mm-hmm. Ah, this is great. You know what? This is the best late-night snack ever invented.

Dru: Liv, do you still, like, break the cookies apart, and, like, scrape out the inside...

Olivia: Unh-unh.

Dru: With your bottom teeth?

Olivia: That's when I was a kid. I've outgrown that. Now I like to dip the whole cookie in the milk.

Dru: Oh, that's much more sophisticated.

O olivia: Do you remember, as kids, how we would sit up and watch "sanford and son"? I don't even know how I had a crush on lamont, but I did. Are you listening to me?

Dru: I'm sorry, liv. I was just thinking about something.

Olivia: More childhood stuff?

Dru: No. Adult stuff, actually.

Olivia: Like?

Dru: Well, like, you know, now that you're engaged, I was just wondering how things are going with you and wes.

Kevin: Great. You made it.

Lily: Well, I told you I'd be here.

Kevin: How'd you manage it?Lily: I sneaked out. My mom thinks I'm sleeping.

Kevin: Good girl. Well, what if you get caught?

Lily: Well, my life isn't exactly a thrill you know? If I get caught, I'll deal somehow.

Kevin: You know, lily, maybe you--

Lily: Look, being with you is all that matters to me. I mean, I ditched my friends, pretty much ditched my parents. You're the one thing that I'm holding on to. Especially now, since what happened between us. You mean everything to me. (Cell phone rings) (ring) (ring)

Jack: Hello. Hey, yoki. How are things in tokyo? I really can't get into that right now. We're all buttoned up. As matter of fact, I'm about to hop into bed. What can I say? The check's in the mail. Yeah, e-mail me, okay? Thanks.

Brittany: Raul!

Raul: Brittany.

Brittany: What the hell is going on?

Raul: I thought-- I thought you were at work.

Brittany: Never mind. Why am I even asking? As if it isn't obvious enough.

Raul: Great. Good aftnonoon. There's been a bad accident on the whitemud - that has closed down part of the freeway near calgary trail. A man in his late forties has been killed.+++ Soldiers at the edmonton garrison are reacting to news that two canadian soldiers have been killed by a landmine in afghanistan. +++And - her flaming red hair was too risque for her ponoka employer - so she was sent home and she's not happy about it. +++ We'll have those stories tonight at six. Man those wings were awesome.

Jack: What the hell is...

Phyllis: (Giggles) take it easy. Take it easy.

Jack: Oh, it's you.

Phyllis: Yeah. Yeah, it's me. Is that all I get, "it's you"?

Jack: Why are you here?

Phyllis: I miss you.

Jack: Yeah? Is that right?

Phyllis: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. That is right. You want me to leave?

Jack: You know what? You do what you want to do, just--just don s snore.

Phyllis: I never snore.

Olivia: Well, wes and i are doing very well, actuay.Y.

Dru: That's good. He's an excellent man.

Olivia: Mm-hmm. And if it weren't for you, I might not have accepted his proposal, so thank you.

Dru: Just call me cupid.

Olivia: How's lily doing?

Dru: Oh, where do I begin? You know, she got the nose piercing, the tattoo, the boys, the computer-- you know what? Liv, I swear, she went to bed early tonight just to avoid me. She always says I'm on her case.

Olivia: Mm-hmm. So that's what it is? I knew you were distracted. You worried about her?

Dru: Yeah, I'm worried about her, t t I have someone else on my mind right now.

Olivia: You do?

Dru: Mm-hmm.

Olivia: Who, neil?

Dru: Sharon newman.

Olivia: Sharon newman? You hardly know the girl.

Dru: I know. Would you believe she showed up here today to talk to me?

Olivia: About what?

Dru: About abby carlton.

Olivia: Abby carl... as in ashley and brad's daughter? Wh-why would she be talking to you about her?

Dru: Well, because she knows victor's the real father.

Olivia: Oh, my...

Kevin: I'm totally digging this new cd.

Lily: Yeah, it's good.

Kevin: You don't sound exactly turned on.

Lily: Just kind of loud for me, you know?

Kevin: Oh. Well, I could turn it down if it's bothering you.

Lily: No, it's okay. You don't have to.

Kevin: No, it's all right.

Kevin: Something bugging you, lily?

Lily: It's just... I just wish that we didn't have to sneak around all the time.

Kevin: I thought you said you could handle it.

Lily: Well, I can, but...

Kevin: But what?

Lily: You know what? Never mind. It's not important.

Kevin: Look, you know how your friends feel about me. And your parents-- I mean, they're completely on another planet. You know what I mean?

Lily: Yeah.

Kevin: So you have to accept that. But so what? You've got me now. I'm looking out for you, and you don't need anybody else.

Lily: So, um, what do you want to do? I brought some movies.

Kevin: Movies?

Victor: So there's something you came to tell me?

Sharon: It's amazing, isn't it, how much they've changed?

Victor: Yeah. That's my favorite picture.

Sharon: Everything you do is for your family, isn't it?

Victor: They mean the world to me.

Sharon: That's something that I admire so much about you, victor. Everything that you have and everything you've accomplished, you would give it up in a heartbeat for the ones you love.

Victor: That's why I've worked so hard, sharon. Nikki and nicholas and victoria mean everything to me.

Sharon: Well, they're fortunate to have you in their lives.

Victor: Sometimes I wish my children realized how much they mean to me. I miss them, you know. I see nicholas and victoriavery day, yet we're not as close as we once were.

Sharon: Well, it won't be that way forever, you know.

Victor: If I'd spent more time with them when they were young, perhaps things would be different now.

Sharon: You've more than made up for lost time.

Victor: Sometimes I wonder.

Sharon: You've given them such a wonderful life. Nicholas and victoria have had opportunities and advantages that other people only dream of having.

Victor: And I'm very proud of that. I worked very hard to build this empire so that my children would have a good future. But in the meantime... I missed out on a lot of things when they were young. While building this empire, I missed out on little league baseball games. I missed out on evenings at school. Couldn't be there for a lot of family dinners.

Victor: Sometimes I wish...

Sharon: What?

Victor: (Chuckles) sometimes I wish I could do it all over with another child, you know? I know that's not gonna happen, but if it were... if it were the case, then I would make sure that that child knows th t they're the center of my life.

Victor: Forgive me for digressing. You came to tell me something important. ñ ñ ñ @

Lauren: I'm sorry.

Raul: Don't apologize.

Lauren: I feel terrible.

Raul: You didn't do anything wrong, neither of us did. We are two single, consenting adults, lauren.

Lauren: Yeah, I don't think brittany's thinking that right now.

Raul: Well, that's her problem.

Lauren: You know, go to her. I don't think she got very far.

Raul: What's the point?

Lauren: She seemed very upset.

Raul: Well, she has bobby marsino to dry her tears.

Lauren: Raul, you don't really know what's going on there.

Raul: Brittany chose stripping for bobby over a relationship with me. That's all I need to know.

Lauren: But maybe you're oversimplifying things. I mean, she can be very stubborn.

Raul: Gee, you think?

Lauren: No, I mean, maybe she chose working for bbbby out of pride, to prove her independence, not because she doesn't want to be with you.

Raul: Listen, lauren, I realize that you're trying to help me, but the truth is much simpler. Brittany doesn't give a damn about me.

Brittany: Angelo? Hey, angelo, are you here?

Bobby: Yo. Oh, brittany.

Brittany: Hi.

Bobby: What are you doinhehere?

Brittany: The door was open.

Bobby: Yeah, I gave ange the night off. So I just been kinda going through the place, making a list, what needs to be fed.

Brittany: Sort of looks different like this.

Bobby: Yeah, without the people, the music, the girls, it kinda turns into a regular graveyard. Still, every once in awhile, it needs a night off.

Brittany: Yeah, I guess so.

Bobby: What's up? You look like you lost your best friend.

Brittany: Yeah, I think I did.

Bobby: Really?

Brittany: And that's not all.

Bobby: It gets worse?

Brittany: Did you know that my father was in here? The other day, when you and angelo had to throw that guy out?

Bobby: Oh, yeah, now that you mention it, there was some guy saying something about being your old man.

Brittany: Why didn't you tell me?

Bobby: I didn't know. I just thought it was some drunk.

Brittany: Well, it was him, all right. He was here with some business associates or something.

Bobby: Yeah, that figures. These guys come in here, they want to see the girls do their thing, so long as it's someone else's kid d d not theirs.

Brittany: Bobby, you've been in this business a long time, right?

Bobby: Yeah. I've paid my dues.

Brittany: So you've known some dancers who've, like, moved on afterward to other things, haven't you?

Bobby: Sure. Actually, a couple of them still keep in touch.

Brittany: So working here, did it mess up their lives? Was it, like, a big black mark on them forever?

Olivia: Oh, my god. Sharon knows? How did she find out?

Dru: She overheard nikki and brad talking.

Olivia: And she came to you for confirmation?

Dru: They mentioned my name, okay? She knows that I know about the whole debacle.

Olivia: Oh, god. Well, I hope she doesn't run around town telling anybody.

Dru: Oh, she's gonna tell victor, all right.

Olivia: What? Dru, that's a disaster. We've got to do something about it.

Dru: Uh, like what?

Olivia: I-I don't know. We have to warn ashley and brad. Nikki, too.

Dru: No, no, no, no, no. This is none of our business. No way. But I'll tell you what, any ama atat comes into victor newman's world, that's a good thing, 'cause it takes his mind off of the safra/tuvia wars. That'll work.

Olivia: Tell me you're not that cold.

Dru: I am when it comes to business. Look, I told sharon that this thing was very complicated, that she had to think about abby, that it would affect her. I told her.

Olivia: And did you get througto her?

Dru: I doubt it. She's determined to go to victor.

Olivia: We've got to stop her.

Dru: Uh, how?

Olivia: I don't know. There's gotta be a way.

Dru: Well, you know, I believe that nature should really take its course.

Olivia: Well, not when it involves your friend's future anheher daughter. You know what? If sharon goes to victor, I don't even want to think about how many lives are gonna be destroyed in the fallout.

Victor: So what is it?

Sharon: How do i tell you this?

Victor: Are you and nicholas having problems, or what?

Sharon: No, no, it's nothing like that. Things between us are wonderful. In fact, better than they've been.

Victor: I'm very glad to hear that. Well, then, so what is it? You know there's nothing you can't say to me. You know that.

Sharon: Yeah, I know.

Victor: I mean, after all you and I have been through, nothing that you will say to me will shock me.

Sharon: All right, um, I'll tell you. I mean, you have every right to know. This is about--

Nikki: Victor, are you still down... what are you doing here, sharon? ówman those wings were awesome.

Phyllis: Ooh. Ooh. Oh, I'm so cold.

Jack: W-what are you doing?

Phyllis: I'm cold, you know. So--so, um, you know, I'm trying to get warm.

Jack: You don't feel that cold to me.

Phyllis: Yeah? Well, my body is giving off a lot of heat. So, you know, all the heat is leaving my body, and it's making me cold. (Imitates teeth chattering)

Jack: C-could you just turn off the furnace? I'm trying to get some sleep here.

Phyllis: I can'T. I can't, jack. What are you doing to me? When I feel your body next to mine... your naked body against my naked body... it's been so long since I lt your skin againsmimine... and it's just, you know, turning me on. It does things to me. It makes things happen, jack. Please, jack. Jack, don't leave me all by myself.

Jack: Phyllis...

Phyllis: I need you. I need you. I'm your wife.

Jack: God, you are so beautiful.

Phyllis: Whatever I am, I'm all yours tonight.

Jack: I am very angry with you.

Phyllis: Okay. All right. We're angry. I'm any with you. Bad jack. Bad, bad boy.

Lauren: Raul, listen to me. Did you take a good look at that young woman who just ran out of here? Well, I did, and trust me, when it comes to you, she does give a damn.

Raul: Yeah, well, that's what you think.

Lauren: No, that's what I know. Do you know why she ran off so fast? Because she couldn't bear to see you with me. She does still veve feelings for you.

Raul: So what? What am I supposed to do now, lauren?

Lauren: You're supposed to fight to get her back if that's what you want. I mean, if you're not interested, that's okay, but do not fool yourself into thinking she doesn't care about you. You've got a lot of thinking to do, so I'm gonna take off. Good luck.

Raul: Lauren.

Lauren: Yeah?

Raul: Thanks.

Lauren: You B..

Bobby: All right, so let me guess. <
