Paul: Here you go. Drink some of that. You're fine.

Hank: For what it's worth, I know how frightened you must be, Christine.

Chris: No, you don’t. You can't even imagine.

Hank: You're a woman who's made a terrible mistake.

Chris: A mistake? A woman is dead, a woman with a child.

Paul: Easy.

Hank: I'm not trying to destroy you, Christine.

Paul: Well, you're doing a hell of a good imitation of it.

Hank: We'll give Chris every opportunity to present her side of the story, but for us to do that--

Paul: What? You have conditions, I suppose.

Hank: Christine's gonna have to level with us and soon. So I'll ask you once again-- is there anything else you want to tell me?

Paul: Look, will you give us a minute alone, please?

Hank: Sure, Paul.

Paul: Don't say another word, not one word. From here on out, we're gonna have to rely on Baldwin .

Chris: I know, but the evidence is so over--

Paul: It doesn't matter, Chris. You are in no position to make that judgment. You are in no position to draw any conclusions. Besides, Dr. Carter has sedated you. You are not yourself. You are not thinking clearly.

Chris: I'm awake enough to see the handwriting on the wall.

Paul: Look, Chris, if you won't be silent for yourself, then would you do it for us? Do it for our sake. We have been through so much together. You owe us that much.

Chris: (Whispering) okay. Okay.

Paul: Hank?

Paul: Chris has nothing more to say.

Hank: Well, I'm sorry to hear that, Paul. Then it leaves me no choice.

Paul: No choice to do what?

Hank: Christine, I'm placing you under arrest. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law you have a right to an attorney. If you cannot afford a lawyer—

Raul: Hold on. Let me get this straight. You and Colleen, you barge into this guy's-- what, Kevin? To his apartment to bust up his date with Lil because--

J.T.: Date? No. No, dude. This was a trap, man. This guy's in his 20's, Raul. He's got a 15-year-old girl he met on the internet in his apartment. I mean, come on.

Raul: So what happened?

J.T.: Well, he was yelling, freaking' out, acting like a complete jerk.

Raul: Well, that's not a good situation, man.

J.T.: It got even worse when Colleen realized he had an open bottle of champagne sitting there.

Raul: He was trying to get Lily drunk

J.T.: Yeah. Yeah, that's when I lost it.

Raul: Don't tell me. You decked him.

J.T.: What would you have done, man? Come on.

Raul: Usually, I think that the best option is the exact opposite of whatever you would do, but, hey, in this case, I can't blame you. I would've done the same thing. This guy sounds like trouble, J.T.

J.T.: Yeah, he is. I just hope Lily sees that now.

Raul: Who would've thought-- J.T. Hellstrom, defender of the innocent girls.

J.T.: Shut up.

Raul: I got to tell Brittany that our roommate's a hero.

J.T.: Speaking of Brittany , where is the princess anyway?

Raul: Work. Where else would she be?

J.T.: Brittany 's job is still rough on you?

Raul: We hardly see each other anymore. I really shouldn't complain. I mean, she's the one that's putting in all these hours. But I'll tell you this-- if she walked through those doors right now and told me she was quitting her job, it would absolutely make my day.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brittany : Hi, Angelo.

Angelo: Well, hey there, little songbird.

Brittany : Is Bobby around?

Angelo: Yo, Bobby!

Brittany : Yikes.

Bobby: Damn it, Ange. Didn't we fix the intercom?

Angelo: I like yellin '. It's organic.

Bobby: Guy was dropped on his head when he was little. So how you doing, Brittany ?

Angelo: Marilyn.

Bobby: Marilyn. Sorry.

Brittany : It's confusing.

Bobby: Yeah, well, I'll get it one of these days.

Angelo: And I was dropped on my head.

Bobby: So what are you doing here so early? We don't open for another hour.

Brittany : I have a surprise for you.

Bobby: You got a surprise for me? What a coincidence. I got a surprise for you.

Brittany : Well, can I go first? I'm really excited about this.

Bobby: All right, go ahead.

Brittany : Great. Well, I have my music right here.Yo, Angelo!

Bobby: (Chuckles)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Larry: Dang. You were on a roll, girl.

Jill: Was I?

Larry: Yeah. Everyone at that table there tonight, at Gina’s, they had to see how much you've changed. Especially with Mrs. Chancellor having such a hard time. You know, I thought the way she kept spilling things that you were gonna lose it, but you never did.

Jill: That was the least of my worries, believe me.

Larry: Jill, all things said, you were a good daughter. You helped your mom out. You didn't blow your cool. And people really saw how caring you were.

Jill: Did they?

Larry: Yeah, Mrs. Newman, that lawyer dude and Gina. You know, I could tell she was really impressed. And I'll bet she'll back you up for sure when you go to court.

Jill: It shouldn't have come out that way. The last thing I needed was for Brock to tell everybody that I wanted to have Katherine declared incompetent.

Larry: Well, you know what? I don't think it really matters. You handled yourself really well. And the whole thing made total sense when you explained your reasons. Oh, now what? Something wrong?

Jill: Everything, Larry!

Larry: Why do you say that?

Jill: Because it's all falling apart, that's why.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nikki: Now are you sure I can't get you anything?

Kay: No... no, thank you.

Esther: I am telling you, I could not believe my ears. I don't know how you could sit there, Mrs. C., and not scream. I almost did.

Kay: You had outburst.

Esther: Well, hearing your lawyer say that Jill wants to control all of your affairs, how could I keep quiet?

Nikki: Yeah, that was a little disturbing at first, wasn't it?

Esther: At first? I can't believe it. Only I can, because we're talking about Jill. Just when I think she couldn't sink any lower, she finds a way to use Mrs. Chancellor's stroke to gouge her and to take advantage, because she thinks she can get away with it. It makes me so mad, I could almost spit!

Kay: (Chuckling) not on me, please.

Esther: Well, we're not gonna let this awful woman get away with it, are we? Well, are we?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raul: I shouldn't really say that--that I want Brittany to quit her job. That's just me being selfish. But I will tell you this; she is not working the night of her birthday, that is for sure.

J.T: Oh, yeah, that's right. That's coming up. Got any big plans?

Raul: Not yet. I do have one idea.

J.T.: All right, let's hear it.

Raul: I think I'm gonna call my mom, and--

J.T.: (Laughing) why?

Raul: You want to hear this or not? Come on, shut up.

J.T.: All right.

Raul: I'm gonna call my mom and get the best recipes. I'm gonna cook her a big Cuban dinner. After that, I'll give her a long massage--got the oils, candles, everything. And then after that--

J.T.: Hey, now stop. I don't need the details. I know that part.

Raul: So what do you think?

J.T.: I don't know.

Raul: What? Why?

J.T.: Well, I guess I'm gonna have to find a place to stay. You're probably gonna want the loft to yourself.

Raul: Oh, man, amazing. Even when it's somebody else's birthday, you still find a way to turn this around and make it about you. Could you remove yourself from the equation for two seconds, please?

J.T.: Why don't you just take her out someplace nice, you know, spend some money? Are you cheap or something?

Raul: I'm not the one that's making the big money here. Brittany is, remember?

J.T.: Yeah, no kidding.

Raul: You know, when she first started singing, I had no idea she could earn so much money. She must be really good at what she does, man.

J.T.: Yeah, she's giving it everything she's got, that's for sure.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brittany : Did you say I've got a lot to learn? Well, don't think I'm trying not to learn since this is the perfect spot to learn teach me tonight starting with the "a, b, c" of it right down to the "x, y, z" of it help me solve the mystery of it teach me tonight the sky's a blackboard high above you if a shooting star goes by I'll use that star to write I love you a thousand times across the sky one thing isn't very clear my love should the teacher stand so near, my love? Graduation's almost here my love teach me tonight

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nikki: Esther, I'm sure we'll all be keeping a very close eye on Jill.

Esther: Don't you want to just strangle her? I do.

Nikki: All right, that’s true. We all have a history with that woman, very little of it good. But I don't know. I just found myself thinking when she was trying to explain her rationale at dinner--

Esther: Mrs. Newman--

Kay: She made good points.

Nikki: Not that she's gonna succeed in having you declared incompetent. Obviously, she's not.

Kay: Open my mouth... let Jill see... it was a test.

Esther: And you think she passed?

Kay: Didn't say that, Esther! Just... threw me.

Nikki: She seems to be saying and doing all the right things. Her heart seems to be in the right place.

Kay: Hard to trust... after all these years, but... Nikki, I understand... believe me, I... I do. Yet--

Nikki: Yeah, I know. There's a yet. That's where I am right now. I keep going back and forth, wondering if she could be on the level.

Esther: Well, thank god she hasn't snowed you completely. Well, no offense, Mrs. Newman, but it's so clear to me it's all an act. I'm just worried that Mrs. C. Will get all sentimental and play right into it.

Kay: Doing my best to be logical, Esther! Hardheaded.

Nikki: It's not always easy when it's your child, is it?

Esther: Well, she's not my child. Jill is a snake. And if you're not careful, she'll slither in and break your heart while she steals you blind!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Larry: Why are you so upset?

Jill: Why am I so upset? Can you imagine the kind of flak I'm going to be getting around here now? From Esther, for one. She's gonna be more insufferable than usual. I don't need this.

Larry: Come on, Jill. Don't worry about Esther. She just likes to make a lot of noise, that's all.

Jill: Yeah, well, I wouldn't be so sure about that. I don't trust that nitwit. Anytime she can undermine me, like in front of a judge, for example.

Larry: Hey, Jill, you want me to have a talk with her?

Jill: Oh, baby, no. It wouldn't do any good, believe me. Besides, Esther--she's not even my biggest problem, not by a long shot.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hank: Do you understand these rights as I have explained them to you?

Chris: Yes.

Hank: Are you willing to answer my questions without an attorney present?

Paul: No, damn it, she's not.

Hank: Then you come with me, Christine.

Paul: Oh, hey, come on. Cut her some slack. At least wait until I can get Baldwin over here.

Hank: Chris will have plenty of time to meet with her attorney when she's in custody, Paul.

Paul: This is so insane. I mean, the only piece of physical evidence you have is one lousy DNA match.

Hank: Are you forgetting the shirt and the slacks that we found in her closet, and the scarf that Christine found in her car with all the bloodstains on it?

Paul: Even if the blood turns out to be Isabella’s, it's not admissible in court. The evidence was obtained illegally.

Hank: Bottom line-- my case is strong enough to warrant your arrest. So if you'd please come with me, Christine...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

J.T.: Hey, you should be happy Brittany ’s raking it in. Your birthday's coming up. You never know, you might get a good gift.

Raul: You're probably right.

J.T.: So why are you moping around about this?

Raul: 'Cause I don't want her to go crazy.

J.T.: Dude, if she wants to, let her. You never know, I mean, you might wake up birthday morning, and there might be a nice porsche sitting outside.

Raul: You don't really think she's gonna get me a car, do you?

J.T.: I don't know. Maybe. But if she did, are you telling me you'd have a problem with that?

Raul: You don't get it, do you?

J.T.: I don't get that you don't know how to run with a good thing. What is ----guilt? Pride? I mean, what's going on?

Raul: Concern.

J.T.: Oh, concern. Yeah.

Raul: Brittany makes more money now than she did over at the boutique, but she needs it. She needs to pay rent here. She needs it for school, for her books, and she's just throwing it around like there's no tomorrow.

J.T.: Dude, listen, she's just liking the idea that she's gonna live in style again. You know, believe me, I'm happy about it, because a Brittany who can shop at will--that's a much, much, much happier Brittany to be around.

Raul: Yeah. Yeah, true.

J.T.: All right.

Raul: But, still, I really don't think it's all about the money. She really loves her work. That job has done more for her than I have ever expected a lot more.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bobby: Man, that girl is dynamite. Wasn't that great, Ange? Huh?

Angelo: It's hot. It's very hot.

Bobby: All right, why you looking at me like that?

Angelo: Who, me? Looking at you?

Bobby: Angelo...

Brittany : Wow. That was work. I had to splash some water on my face.

Bobby: I was thinking of taking a cold shower myself.

Brittany : You liked it?

Bobby: I loved it. You gonna make that part of your act?

Brittany : Yeah, if it's okay with you.

Bobby: It's very okay.

Brittany : I have a couple different arrangements.

Bobby: I'll leave that up to you. Any way you play it, you start putting your moves to a song like that, it's gonna drive the guys wild.

Brittany : Bobby?

Bobby: Yes?

Brittany : Would you say I'm doing well?

Bobby: What do you mean?

Brittany : Well, you know, I mean, some girls attract more customers than others.

Bobby: Do you hear this, Ange? She wants to hear her ratings.

Angelo: There's nothing wrong with that.

Bobby: You're doing great.

Angelo: Bobby...

Bobby: You're doing really great.

Brittany : Would you say some guys come in here just to see me?

Bobby: There's some, sure.

Angelo: (Clears throat)

Bobby: Actually, there's quite a few. You're becoming quite the big draw.

Brittany : I love it. So where's my surprise?

Bobby: Ange, give us a minute, will ya?

Angelo: Sure, boss. These bottles can count themselves, no sweat.

Bobby: Well, I know it's not your birthday yet, but I want to be the first to give you a present.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chris: I understand your position, Detective Weber, but if you'll let me turn myself in tomorrow morning...

Hank: What difference does it make?

Chris: I'll have tonight to put my house in order.

Hank: Well, I prefer you leave with me now.

Paul: Oh, come on, Hank. Give her a break. She is not a flight risk.

Chris: Let me make you an offer, Detective. If you let me stay here tonight, I'll turn myself in the morning, and I will waive my right to challenge the admissibility of the evidence you took from my apart--

Paul: Chris! What the hell are you doing?!

Chris: It's an offer you can't refuse.

Hank: Very well. It's a deal. But if you're not at the station in the morning, you're facing some serious consequences... both of you.

Paul: You know, I wish you hadn't have done that.

Chris: It bought me tonight... beyond that, it might not matter.

Paul: What do you mean?

Chris: I know you're not gonna want to hear this, but I am seriously considering not only turning myself in, but confessing as well

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nikki: Esther, your concerns are very well taken.

Esther: I just hope-- look, you know where I stand, and realize that this has to be Mrs. C.'s decision, but... I just pray you make the right one.

Kay: Hard to know... need more definite answers.

Nikki: Well, I tell you, that whole competency issue really threw in a monkey wrench.

Kay: Mm-hmm... unexpected.

Nikki: Yeah, but you feel she made a good case.

Kay: Was--seems to be considering my best interests, Nikki.

Nikki: That was the whole reason for the test to begin with. Look, what it boils down to is if you let her know you're on the road to recovery, it could be the beginning of a wonderful relationship with your daughter. But on the other hand, it could be a total swindle. I mean, there's just no way of knowing. I really don't know how to advise you, Katherine. Whatever you do, it's a risk.

Kay: Oh, just need more... information.

Nikki: How do we do that, come up with more tests for Jill?

Kay: Would you call someone for me?

Nikki: Sure. Who?

Kay: Someone I trust with my life.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Larry: What else are you worried about?

Jill: Katherine, of course. This little surprise of Nikki and Esther’s.

Larry: You mean, the way that she--

Jill: I mean, the fact that she's able to move her hands a little bit, Larry.

Larry: Yeah, isn't that great? She's finally making some progress.

Jill: Progress, please.

Larry: Well, I think it's terrific.

Jill: Oh, my God. Don't you see what this means? I don't need this pressure, not on top of everything else.

Larry: Jill, what pressure?

Jill: She's gonna get control of her hands, Larry. She'll teach herself to eat. Her brain will start to come out of this fog that it's been in. She'll walk. She'll talk.

Larry: Yeah, let's hope.

Jill: No, let's not! Not now! It would be a disaster. Look, if I am not made conservator of Katherine's affairs before she can think for herself again--

Larry: Whoa, whoa, Jill, Jill, wait just a minute. Are you listening at all to what you're saying?

Jill: What?

Larry: We're talking about your mother here. Yeah, let's say she is starting to come back. Don't you give a damn about that?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chris: Maybe I should've just gone with Detective Weber. I'm prolonging the inevitable.

Paul: Chris, stop it. Now come on, we got to fight this.

Chris: How? You know what the police have. The evidence is piling up against me.

Paul: And you know that nothing is certain.

Chris: Would you stop? You're a private investigator. You know how to put the pieces together.

Paul: And I also know better not to jump to conclusions.

Chris: Well, who else would have done it? What other suspect is there? Who else had a motive? You couldn't answer those questions when Detective Weber challenged you, and you still can’t.

Paul: You are not a killer. Somewhere out there we will find the answers, and we will prove it. Please don't give up.

Chris: Your faith in me is incredible. It means so much. It's just--it's misguided. I was walking around in a fugue state or a trance or whatever it was for hours and hours. I woke up by a lake. I have no idea how I got there. Now Detective Weber says there are traces of blood. The evidence is piling up against me. We know whose blood it's gonna turn out to be. No jury in the world is ever gonna believe it's a coincidence. They're gonna see me as some bitter ex-wife who wouldn't let go of her husband, and they'll be right.

Paul: There is no way that it happened! There is no way that you killed Isabella!

Chris: Oh, yeah? Well, then how come I remember it? That's right. I remembered it. It all came back when I was hypnotized. I thought Michael told you. When I was hypnotized, I remembered everything. Wes told me. I remembered being in the woods by the lake, and Isabella was just lying there. She was-- she was fighting with me, and she was hitting me, and she was clawing at my arms. That's how I got the scratches. It had to have been. And her face was covered with blood, and she kept begging me over and over again to stop hurting her. And suddenly she got quiet, and she was just-- she was just lying there. She wasn't moving at all. She was just lying there.

Paul: That's all you remember--was the lake? The lake and the woods, but not the apartment?

Chris: The apartment?

Paul: Chris, come on, doesn't that seem odd? You remember the lake and the woods, but not the apartment. The apartment is where she was attacked.

Chris: So I must have brought her to the lake to get rid of the body.

Paul: You must have, but you don't remember.

Chris: No, my--

Paul: You didn't remember.

Chris: Especially when Dr. Carter was interrupted.

Paul: When Weber arrived.

Chris: Right, and I'm sure if I went under hypnosis again, I would remember, but I didn't want to go through it. It was horrifying. I just didn't think I could be capable of something like this, but what other explanation could there be? Oh, God, you're starting to see it, too, aren't you? How I could have done this.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raul: You know what? Maybe you're right. Yeah, you know, maybe I should bag this whole birthday dinner for two thing and do something else for Brittany .

J.T.: Such as?

Raul: Well, how about I throw her a surprise birthday party?

J.T.: That could be cool, I guess. Where? Here? The Crimson Lights, maybe? Unh-unh, how about the place she works? You all right?

J.T.: (Coughing) yeah, just spilled. I'm all right.

Raul: Breathe. Listen, now Brittany has never told me the name of the place she works. She's still nervous about me coming down there and come and watch her sing, but how hard can it be to find out, right?

J.T.: But why there, man?

Raul: Because she would never see it coming.

J.T.: You got that right.

Raul: And I guarantee you I could get her boss in on it and couple of her friends to help me out and arrange this whole thing. Yeah.

J.T.: Raul, you've had some bad ideas before, but, man, this one is unbelievable.

Raul: What are you talking about? A second ago you said that this sounds cool.

J.T.: No, the party does, not the place. I mean, she hasn't even invited you up there yet.

Raul: She'll get over that. Besides, I think it's time I see where she goes every night.

J.T.: That's the other part of it. I mean, she spends a lot of time there. Don't you think she'd rather go someplace else? You know what, raul? Just go back to plan "A." You said you wanted to spend some time alone with her on her birthday. I bet that's what she wants, too. Just do that.

Raul: Oh, come on. Nobody loves an adoring crowd more than my girlfriend. You know that. She and I can celebrate alone later. You know what? The more I think about it, the more I know this is the right thing to do.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brittany : You didn't have to do this.

Bobby: Yeah, no kidding.

Brittany : How did you know?

Bobby: Your birthday was right there on the tax form you filled out. Come on, it doesn't look that great out of the box. Let me try it on.

Brittany : Bobby, you know I have...

Bobby: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you have a boyfriend. So what's that mean? You can't accept presents from anyone? Look I saw it, and I thought it would look great on you. And it does. It looks incredible.

Brittany : Yeah, I'm sure it-- I mean, it's beautiful, but I don't know-- I don't think--

Bobby: Look, every now and then I go out and get presents for my girls. You know that. That's how I met you, remember? I was shopping.

Brittany : Yeah, but not for anything like this.

Bobby: Well, you're not like them. Now don't go crazy on me. I just wanted you to have it.

Brittany : Okay. Thank you.

Bobby: You're welcome, Marilyn.

Brittany : So you really liked my song?

Bobby: Yeah, it really got to me.

Brittany : Well, you understand that I wasn't trying to get to you, not personally, I mean.

Bobby: Oh, you weren't? Now my feelings are hurt.

Brittany : Well, you know what I meant.

Bobby: Yeah, I know what you meant. This is a business here. We're in the business of being hot and sexy, right?

Brittany : And providing a little musical culture as well.

Bobby: Oh, yeah, that, too. As long as it's hot. Uh, listen, I've got to let Ange finish counting these bottles before we open.

Brittany : Right, and I've got to, you know, go home and redo my hair and a few other things.

Bobby: You'd better get going.

Brittany : Yeah. Well, I'll see you later.

Bobby: Hey.  Happy birthday.

Bobby: Don’t. Don't you even look at me.

Angelo: They're your rules, boss. You want to break 'em, it's up to you.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jill: Yes, I care about Katherine. Of course I want her to recover, just not now.

Larry: Why?

Jill: Larry, come on. You've been so supportive and so understanding. Don't tell me that's a thing of the past.

Larry: Well, that all depends on where you're coming from with this.

Jill: Well, isn't it obvious? Look, if Katherine recovers before she's declared... incompetent, don't you see what's gonna happen?

Larry: No, what?

Jill: She will disown me. She will cut me out of the will. She'll do everything in her power to leave me high and dry just the way she did when I was born.

Larry: Come on, Jill, that's not gonna happen.

Jill: Oh, don't be so naive. Yes, it will happen!

Larry: Look, things have changed between you two. She's your mother. You're her daughter. You're flesh and blood.

Jill: That doesn't matter to her! No, no, I will not let this happen. I'm gonna get this in front of a judge, and I am gonna get a ruling in my favor before it's too late.

Larry: You know what, Jill? The way that you're talking, I've got to wonder whether or not Esther is right about this, and that you're just out to fleece this old lady.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nikki: Please, come in. Thank you for coming all the way out here, Brock. Normally I would run Katherine home myself, but I have an appointment, Esther had to leave.

Brock: Hey, it's not a problem. I'm happy to pick up the Duchess.

Nikki: Well, thanks, you're a lifesaver. Go on in, please.

Brock: Hello, Mother. Hope you and Nikki had a nice visit.

Nikki: We did. We had a wonderful time, but I really have to go. It was great spending time with you tonight.

Brock: I enjoyed it, too. You take care now.

Nikki: Okay. Good-bye, Katherine. (Whispering) good luck. We'll talk. (Normal volume) okay, bye-bye!

Brock: Okay. Mother, I'm so pleased you had a chance to get out, be with people. Ah, it's starting to get late. We should get you home. And let's see, did you bring a wrap?

Kay: Not yet, Brock.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Paul: No, Chris. No, I don't see it. I don't believe it.

Chris: I loved you so much. I just didn't know that love was becoming an obsession, and then once I learned how Isabella destroyed everything...

Paul: So you went to her, and you killed her in cold blood. Is that what you think?

Chris: What else am I to think after everything I remembered?

Paul: There are too many blank spaces.

Chris: Yeah, I know, but they're in my head. Okay, the answers, as horrible as they may be, they're in there. I know you're not gonna understand this, but I want to be alone tonight.

Paul: No, Chris--

Chris: Yes, Paul, look. Tomorrow I am gonna turn myself in. My life and my future is gonna be totally up for grabs. I want this night to put my house in order.

Paul: Oh, sweetheart, you shouldn't be alone.

Chris: I know, but I have to be. I have to come to terms with what I've done. No one else can do that for me.

Paul: I lost you once. I don't want to lose you again.

Chris: I'm sorry. I am so, so sorry.

Chris: I want you to go. Will you just please, please do this for me?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Next on "the young and the restless"...

Brock: You're trying to prove Jill’s sincerity by being duplicitous yourself. Like mother, like daughter.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Paul: Why are you so bound and determined to convince yourself that you're guilty?

Chris: They found blood where my car was parked.
