Brittany: So how does it feel?
Raul: How does what feel?
Brittany: Seeing your best buddy get married. Must be kind of weird.
Raul: A little bit.
Brittany: What?
Raul: Oh, man, no, I was just remembering when billy and I were-- we were kids. We used to build a fort in his backyard. We made these big signs, "no girls allowed."
Brittany: Yeah, I remember. I was one of those yucky girls. Yeah, and now billy's married, starting this whole new life. I don't know, it just feels like the end of an era or something, you know? Listen to me, getting all mushy.
Brittany: Well, billy and mac sure looked happy together.
Raul: Yeah. Yeah, it's a good thing they took off before jill showed up.
Brittany: No kidding. What is that woman's problem?
Raul: Simple--she hates mac. She always has.
Brittany: Still, you'd think she could give it a rest on her son's wedding day.
Raul: Yeah, well, I just hope she cooled her jets after she le the last thing billy and mac need is jill showing up at the hotel and making this huge scene.
Billy: What is wrong with you? I can't believe you'd show up here like this. You blow off my wedding, now you're gonna barge in on my wedding night?
Jill: Billy, look at me. I'm a mess. Everything is a disaster.
Billy: Yeah, that's how you see it. To me, everything is perfect.
Jill: Oh, no, son, everything is not perfect.
Billy: Look, if you've come here again to try to convince me that the marriage is a mistake, you're way too late, mom. The marriage happened.
Jill: It's-it's happened?
Billy: And now it's my honeymoon night. Get out.
Jill: Then you haven't-- no, of course you haven'T. You're dressed.
Billy: Mom, would you please just get out?
Jill: No, billy. You have to hear me.
Billy: Are you out of your mind?
Jill: Billy, there's something you need to be told.
Billy: Why should I believe anything you say, mom? You didn't even show up at my wedding.
Jill: Oh, honey, I wanted to be there.
Billy: If you had wanted to be there, you would have been.
Jill: Something came up.
Billy: Something came up?
Jill: And that's the reason I'm here now.
Billy: Well, you know what, mom? It's too late. Most important moment of my life, and you bailed.
Jill: No, I tried to get there. I ran half the way from my office.
Billy: You ran? (Scoffs)
Jill: There was a big truck, and it blocked the road. That doesn't matter.
Billy: So you did try to come?
Jill: Yes, I did.
Billy: Mom, I'm sorry. You'll see the wedding pictures. It was beautiful. Now if you'd please...
Jill: Sweetheart...
Billy: Go.
Jill: The reason that I was trying to get to your wedding was because I had to stop it. Billy, there is something about mackenzie that you need to be told. Good afternoon. Brock: Shh.
Liz: Is katherine sleeping?
Brock: It's hard to tell. Her eyes are closed, but everything else stays the same.
Liz: It sure makes you appreciate being able to communicate, doesn't it?
Brock: Oh, liz, I would give anything just to get a simple "yes" or "no" from the duchess.
Liz: Brock, I know what you mean, but about the marriage...
Brock: I gained the finest son-in-law today.
Liz: Yes, well, I think that--
Brock: And I think anyone in my position would agree that billy and mac-- yeah, they're a little young to be taking such a big step, but, I tell you, with these two kids, I wish them every happiness.
Liz: Brock, will you listen to me--
Brock: And I think when you get away from the age thing, and see billy and mac as two people in love, who want to commit their lives to each other, how can you begrudge them?
Billy: You are unbelievable. My wedding night, you're bashing my bride? It never stops with you, does it?
Jill: Billy, I am not blaming mackenzie for this.
Billy: You just don't want her to marry me?
Jill: Yes, but it's not because of anything she's done.
Billy: You know what? I n'n't give a damn. You've been trashing this marriage since the day we got engaged, before that.
Jill: But it has nothing to do with this.
Billy: Why should i listen to you? You're like a broken record.
Jill: Billy, what I have to tell you now is completely different.
Billy: Mom, you'd do anything to keep mac and me apart. This marriage will happen over your dead body, remember that?
Jill: Yeah, I'm not proud of that.
Billy: Yeah, well, you lost, mom. The marriage has happened. Mac and I are starting our lives together tonight. There's not a thing you can do or say to stop it.
Jill: Yes, there is, billy. You and mackenzie are cousins. (Knock on door)
Michael: Thanks for coming so fast, hank.
Hank: What happened here?
Michael: Well, uh, it was like this when I walked in.
Hank: This is isabella williams' apartment, right?
Michael: She's a friend of mine.
Hank: A friend?
Michael: That's right.
Hank: How long have you been here, mr. Baldwin?
Michael: Long enough to realize something was wrong, to call 9-1-1.
Hank: Was anyone else here?
Michael: No.
Hank: Did you see anyone leaving, waiting for the elevator?
Michael: No, no one. The-the door was unlocked. Uh, no one was home. That kind of threw me a little.
Hank: Did you touch anything?
Michael: No, not even the phone. I used my cell.
Hank: So you just came in, you saw all this, then immediately called for help?
Michael: No, I checked some of the other rooms to make sure that isabella wasn't in here somewhere.
Hank: You walked around the apartment, then?
Michael: Look, I'm sorry if you don't approve of what I did, detective. She might have been hurt. I thought she might need an ambulance, you know?
Hank: Easy, counselor, easy.
Michael: It's a lot of blood. Now it looks like a lot of blood. Maybe it just seems like a lot of blood, I don't know. You probably look at this stuff all the time, right? What do you think? (Sighs)
Hank: Yeah, this is weber. Yeah, I need a team over here. Right. Number 47. Okay. So can you account for your whereabouts?
Michael: What?
Hank: Before you arrived, mr. Baldwin, where were you?
Michael: My office.
Hank: Alone?
Michael: Are you looking for an alibi, hank?
Hank: You have one?
Michael: I was with diane jenkins. We were talking when the call came in.
Hank: What call?
Michael: Isabella.
Hank: You didn't mention any call before. Is that why you came over here, because mrs. Williams wanted you to?
Michael: Hmm, wanted, wanted? She begged me to. The woman was extremely upset.
Hank: Any idea why?
Michael: She was terrified. She feared for her life. Discovery channel. edmonton humane society is dr. Purcell. Always nice to see
Billy: Cousins? Did you say that we're cousins? My god, you have lost it.
Jill: Billy, have mackenzie come out. I will explain i to both of you.
Billy: No way. You are not gonna ruin this night for her.
Jill: Have you not been hearing me? There can't be a wedding night.
Billy: Listen, you get out of this room, or I'll call security.
Jill: Oh, my god. You don't believe me.
Billy: How could you do this to me?
Jill: Of course, how could you believe me?
Billy: What do you take me for, some fool, some idiot? You're like some sick, obsessed woman that just can't lose!
Jill: What do you think, I wanted it to be this way? I was accepting the wedding. I was on my way to the wedding, and then I heard something that changed everything.
Billy: That we're cousins?
Jill: Yes!
Billy: Let's see, how coulththat happen? Hmm, uh...
Jill: Billy, you share the same grandmother.
Billy: Oh, yes, of course.
Jill: It's true. Katherine chancellor is your grandmother.
Billy: What? I don't believe this. Where the hell did you come up with that? No, never mind. I don't want to hear any more of this stuff. Just go. You're sick, mom. You are so sick.
Jill: God, I wish that was all it was.
Billy: How could she be my grandmother, mom? She isn't even related to me. You're desperate. You would do anything to stop this. You and I are gonna talk when I get back from my honeymoon because this--this is cruel. It's evil, mom. What you are doing to me is evil. Now go! I I said go.
Jill: Billy, katherine chancellor is my mother. Charlotte lied to us. Katherine had a baby girl out of wedlock all those years ago, and she gave the baby to charlotte, who took it to a hospital and put her own name on the birth certificate. Katherine is my mother.
Billy: You're lying.
Billy: You're lying to me.
Jill: No, I'm not.
Billy: You tell me that you're lying to me, mom!
Jill: Baby...
Hank: Mrs. Williams was afraid someone was trying to harm her?
Michael: Yeah. Her husband paul williams, the P.I., He, uh, he'd been trying to shove a divorce down her throat. Things had gotten pretty ugly.
Hank: Go on.
Michael: Well, he and his cohorts had been pressuring her so hard that-- well, put it this way, she took out some restraining orders.
Hank: Against whom?
Michael: Well, against paul, his mother mary williams-- those two were served today.
Hank: Anyone else?
Michael: You might check out paul's secretary lynne bassett. She's always hated isabella with a passion.
Hank: When mrs. Williams phoned you, did she mention any of them?
Michael: Uh, no. Um, she heard a noise in the hall outside her door, and she was afraid someone was trying to break in.
Hank: Did she check it out?
>>Ichael: Yeah, yeah. There was no one there, but it freaked her out. She was scared to be by herself, so I came over, and, uh,ouou know, I found this.
Michael: You know, as much as those three hated her, it's just so hard to believe that any of them are capable of doing something this violent.
Hank: Well, someone did, mr. Baldwin. Come on in, guys. Let's get you started right away. There's some stuff over there. (Doorbell rings)
Paul: Oh, it's you.
Lynne: Who were you expecting?
Paul: Well, I was hoping you were my mom or at least chris.
Lynne: Theye e not here?
Paul: No, the house was empty when I arrived.
Lynne: That's weird.
Paul: So what are you doing here anyway?
Lynne: Paul, I'm worried about your mom. I thought you might need my help.
Paul: Yeah, well, I do. Where the hell are they?
Lynne: Did chris mention anything about them leaving?
Paul: No, that's just it. You heard me. I told her specifically I was on my way over here.
Lynne: But neither one of their cars are outside.
Paul: I know. So they had to leave separately?
Lynne: Didn't chris say your mom had been drinking?
Paul: Yeah, look--
Lynne: Paul, there's no way chris would let your mom drive like that.
Paul: No, I know. You're right. So you tell me, lynne, what the hell happened?
Lynne: I don't know, but your mom drinking...
Paul: Yeah, it just shows you how upset she is.
Lynne: No, this is thanks to iselella. She's the one to blame for all this insanity.
Paul: It really doesn't matter who's to blame right now. My mom is out there somewhere. She's angry, upset and under the influence.
Lynne: Did you try chris on her cell again?
Paul: Yeah, she's stil you know, I just can't stop thinking about how chris sounded when I talked to her before.
Lynne: You said when you left michael baldn's office she was furious.
Paul: Yeah, she was, about the restraining order, but on the phone... I don't know. She sounded different.
Lynne: Different how?
Paul: It's hard to explain, lynne. It's just--she sounded like she was at the end of her rope, she couldn't take anymore, desperate.
Lynne: You know, paul, I don't like hearing you talk like that.
Paul: Something is wrong, lynne. Something's terribly wrong.
Lynne: Let's not jump to conclusions. Let's concentrate on finding your mom and chris first. (Brakes screech) (metal crashes) oh, my god!
Lynne: Go, go. This is t there on global - I'm seanna collins. This will ñ
Brittany: Well, I wouldn't worry. Billy knows how to handle his mom.
Raul: Yeah, I guess.
Brittany: So have you fulfilled all your duties as best man?
Raul: I think so.
Brittany: Well, then what do you say we get out of here? We have the whole loft to ourselves tonight. We might as well make the most of it.
Raul: I take it you'd rather not talk about what happened earlier?
Brittany: What?
Raul: Our argument.
Brittany: I wouldn't exactly call that an argument.
Raul: Well, whatever. Babe, why didn't you tell me you had a job interview?
Brittany: I didn't have time. The whole thing just happened so fast.
Raul: I didn't even think you were serious about quitting the boutique.
Brittany: Well, I told you I wasn't happy there.
Raul: Yeah, well, what else is new?
Brittany: Wt t is that supposed to mean?
Raul: Well, these past few days, it's like you're hardly ever happy.
Brittany: Raul...
Raul: No, no, listen, I gotta tell you this. Look, I don't-- I n't know what's going on with you, and I'm not even sure how to act around you anymore.
Brittany: Well, I'm sorry. I owow I've been flaky.
Raul: No, honey, look, listen, I'm not looking for an argument, okay? I love you, and whatever all this is about, you can tell me. Nothing can ever change the way I feel about you.
Brittany: I'm fine, raul. The truth is, I'm not really sure why I've been acting the way I have. I just feeke something's missing from my life, like I need more... but you don't have to worry about me. I just need a little time to figure things out. Can you give me that?
Raul: Sure.
Brittany: Thank you.
Raul: So, uh, this... this job interview, where was it?
Brittany: Oh, um, it doesn't matter. I'm not gonna take the job.
Raul: Why not?
Brittany: Let's just say it wasn't what I thought it would be.
Raul: All right, well, you said that you gave lauren your notice, right?
Bttttany: Yes.
Raul: So go back, talk to her and tell her you changed your mind.
Brittany: I'm not sure there's any point. Lauren was pretty upset with me.
Raul: So what are you gonna do for money?
Brittany: I'll have to figure something out.
Raul: Well, I have some saved up. It's not much, but it's yours if you need it.
Brittany: Thank you, raul.
Raul: Babe, are you sure you're okay?
Brittany: I will be once we get home, and I have you all to myself.
Brock: Jack said something to me, something billy had said before the wedding ceremony. It was really quite moving.
Liz: What--what was it?
Brock: It was billy's hope that the marriage could be something that would bring people together rather than tear them apart, especially where his mother and the duchess were concerned.
Liz: Well, it really says something about the young man, doesn't it? Hoping that his marriage would pull jill and katherine together given their history with one another.
Brock: Elizabeth, the way you say that...
Liz: Well, I suppose it might happen now--someday. Who knows?
Brock: Something-- something going on, something I don't know?
Liz: Yes, brock, and you should be told, and I'm just trying to find the words.
>>Jill: Can you possibly think I would tell you this if it weren't true?
Billy: I don't know what you're capable of, mom?
Jill: Not this, billy. Not this.
Billy: You come here on this of all nights to tell me that the woman that I love more than any person in the world... is related to me by blood? That all I ever wanted, I can't have? You want me to believe that, to accept it? And when mac comes out here in a couple of minut,, I'm supposed to tell her, is that it?
Billy: If you had a knife in your hand and stabbed me in the heart, it couldn't hurt worse, mom. Is that what you want to do to me? Is your hatred for mackenzie so deep and so dark that you would destroy me just to prevent us from sleeping together? Do I mean that little to you, mom?
Jill: I love you. Above all else in this world, I love you. If I could change this, I would. I would embrace your marriage, I would celebrate your love, I would accept that girl in there. I would give my life for this to be a lie, billy. I would do that. I would. Oh, baby, I wish I didn't have to do this to you. I know how devastating this is, and I don't know how you're ever gonna recover. I don't know when you can-- I don't know how I'm gonnrerecover, but that doesn't matter because all I'm thinking of right now is you... and, yes, mackenzie, and I am dying for you. I am so, so sorry. Dear god, I'm so sorry.
Billy: If this is a lie, if this isn't an absolute certainty, I will hate you for the rest of my life. Nothing you ever say or do will earn my forgiveness, ever.
Jill: I would never expect your forgiveness. Billy, if this is a lie, I should burn in hell.
Billy: Just leave, mother. Please.
Jill: Darling, let me tell--
Billy: I said leave. You're looking live at edmonton from our skytracker atop manulife place.Good afternoon. I'm lesley macdonald. Mary: You don't need to hold me up.
Paul: Mom, I just want to make sure you're all right.
Mary: I may be an old lady, but I can still walk on my own.
Lynne: All right. Well, you know, you sounded like you were gonna hit the house.
Mary: Well, it's just those stupid trash cans that the neighbors left out. (Groans)
Paul: So what the hell were you thinking, drinking and driving?
Mary: I was totally in control.
Paul: You know, I don't even remember you taking even a drop of alcohol.
Mary: Oh, well, I was upset, and I needed something to calm me down.
Pau o oh, great, so you get behind the wheel of a 4,000-pound vehicle and take to the road?
Mary: Paul, what I do is my own business, and you can just stop lecturing me.
Lynne: Mrs. Williams, where is chris?
Mary: I don't know.
Paul: Well, she was here earlier, wasn't she?
Mary: Yes, and I told her I was going to the bathroom, but then I went out the back door.
Paul: You didn't tell her you were leaving?
Mary: Oh, no, I don't need permission from christine to leave my own house.
Paul: So where did you go?
Mary: Out.
Lynne: Why?
Mary: Because there were some things I needed to do.
Paul: What things?
Mary: Look, what is this, an inquisition or something?
Paul: Oh, my god, look at your arms. What happened?
Hank: Yeah, that's right. That's the full description. Right. Okay, thank you.
Man: Detective.
Hank: Yeah, what do you got?
Man: We bagged and printed a purse-- an I.D. Inside, a mrs. Isabella williams.
Hank: Anything else?
Man: I have a wallet full of money, car keys.
Hank: Well, I talked to the doorman, and her vehicle's still in the garage. What about the blood?
Man: Well, it's still fresh. It looks l the victim was dragged. I mean, there's enough volume that--
Hank: Then it's doubtful that the lady walked out of here under her own power.
Michael: Detective, if you don't have anything else for me, I'd like to, uh...
Hank: Yes, mr. Baldwin, you can go, but I need a full statemt later on.
Michael: Of course.
Hank: Oh, and, mr. Baldwin...
Michael: Don't leave town. I know the drill.
Hank: I'm sure you do.
Billy: This is not possible. (Telephone rings) (ring)
John: Hello.
Billy: Dad, it's me. I'm freakingutut here. I...
John: Billy, where are you?
Billy: I'm at the hotel, and, uh, mom was just here, and she says something's going on. She was spouting all this crazy stuff. I don'T...
John: Son, it's not crazy.
Billy: Dad, tell me this is insane.
John: No, it is true, son.
Billy: What?
John: Everything that your mother told you appears to be the truth.
Billy: Dad, if you are lying to me right now, if you are lying to me right now, I swear-- come on, dad. You expect me to believe that we--
John: Billy, billy, please, just listen to me. (Sighs) there is a real probability that your mother is the daughter of katherine chancellor, which means that you and mackenzie...
Billy: Cousins. First cousins. Oh, my god.
John: What can I do, son? Can I come over there and be with you?
Billy: No, dad. I-- I have to handle this on my own.

Gina: Well, you're slugging those things down like there's no tomorrow.
Michael: Maybe there is no tomorrow.
Gina: Yeah, whatever that means. Michael, are you okay?
Michael: What, don't I look okay? Something in my teeth?
Gina: Well, frankly, you look like you've seen a ghost.
Michael: (Laughs) now that's a cliché.
Gina: You know, you're in a strange mood, and that's really saying something for you.
Michael: It was good talking to you, too, gina.
Gina: Shall I take the subtle hint, or is there a slight possibility in that head of yours that you'd like to talk about it?
Michael: About what?
Gina: Whatever's got you so rattled.
Michael: Take the hint.
Gina: Okay.
Michael: A double, quick.
Paul: What happened? And I want you to tell me the truth.
Mary: I didn't want you to worry.
Paul: Well, damn it, mother, i am worried. How did your arms get like that?
Mary: Well, I-I went out, and then I got sick...
Paul: Oh, mom.
Mary: Somewhere near stone creek canyon, and then I got out of the car, and, uh, then, um...
Paul: What?
Mary: There were a couple of punk teenagers there, and they came up behind me...
Lynne: Oh, my god, you were mugged?
Mary: And then-- well, I fought with them, but they were too strong, and they took my purse.
Paul: Look, I want to get you to the hospital, and we'll have you checked out.
Mary: They took my purse and ran off.
Paul: Yeah, I heard that. I think we should go to the hospital.
Mary: No, paul, I'm fine. Really.
Paul: Mom, you could have injuries you don't even know about.
Mary: No. If I could just lie down for a little while, maybe I could-- (doorbell rings)
Paul: Chris. Hank.
Hank: Hello, paul.
Paul: Is something wrong?
Hank: Well, actually, I would like to talk to your mother.
Paul: Sure, come on in.
Hank: Thanks.
Paul: Um, hank, this is my associate lynne bassett, and I think you already know my mom.
Hank: Mrs. Williams.
Mary: What do you want?
Hank: Well, actually, I ghght as well question all of you.
Lynne: Question us? About what?
Hank: This concerns your wife, paul.
Mary: That bitch. What's she done now?
Hank: I'm afraid she's missing, and we have reason to believe that foul play may be involved.
Want to see
twice the lashes?
Raul: You want to go home?
Brittany: Mm-hmm.
Raul: Yeah, and do what?
Brittany: I have a few ideas.
Raul: Yea s so do I. I think my, uh, I think the refrigerator needs a good cleaning.
Brittany: I was thinking of something more enjoyable.
Raul: Oh, yeah?
Brittany: Much more enjoyable.
Raul: Are you sure you don't just want to go out? You know, we're looking like a million bucks. You never know when you're gonna get me in a monkey suit again.
Brittany: Unh-unh, buster, I want you all to myself.
Raul: Wait, hold on a second.
Brittany: What's wrong?
Raul: No, nothing's wrong. Just one second. Don't move.
Raul: I just don't want anybody walking in on us, that's all.
Brittany: But you do realize mr. Reynolds is downstairs?
Raul: Okay, so we'll just be quiet.
Brittany: Since when?
Brock: Oh, this is-- this is almost too much to take in, liz.
Liz: I know.
Brock: You think of the-- think of the implications. I was--ohh.
How's jill taking this?
Liz: Not well.
Brock: Billy and mac-- do they know?
Liz: Jill is telling them now.
Brock: Oh, I should have gone with her.
Liz: Well, you didn't know.
Brock: Damn it.
Liz: The main thing is for them to learn about this before--well, in time.
Brock: Mac...
Brock: My poor sweetheart mackenzie. Damn it. You have no idea, elizabeth, where she came from, how hard she has struggled to learn to trust and believe in other people. Her love for billy... it's really changed her. She'd been bitter and calls s and turned inward, and now, to see her open up, embrace life and love...
Brock: It's been a beautiful thing... and now to have to deal with this... what's it gonna do to her?
Liz: It's a good thing you're here, brock. She really is gonna need her father now.
Mac: I'm sorry I took so long.
Billy: It's okay.
Mac: That long, relaxing bath was just what I needed.
Billy: You look so beautiful.
Mac: Do I?
Billy: Yeah.
Mac: This-- this room, it's incredible. All the candles and the flowers... it's just how I imagined it would be.
Mac: Are you hungry? We could order room service.
Billy: No, I'm not--I'm fine.
Mac: Me too. Better than fine.
Billy: Look, uh, mac, I-- I think we should talk.
Mac: You could probably tell that I'm a little nervous about tonight, a lot nervous, actually. Um, you know, I know that it's not gonna be your first time like it will be for me, but-- what I'm trying to say is you've been so patient. It means so much to me that you agreed to wait, and now that the time is finally here, I want it to be perfect for both of us.
Mac: I know it will be for me because I'm with you.
Next on
"the young and the restless"...
Damon: And what department are you in?
Phyllis: I have interests here at jabot.
Damon: Well, that sounds intriguing.
Mac: This is so like her!
Billy: Why would she concoct this whole elaborate story?
Mac: Because she's desperate, billy. <
