to say to you. Go away.
Chris: I will... with pleasure, after we talk.
Isabella: All right, don't me near me! I'm warning you, christine.
Chris: This frightened routine is getting real old.
Isabella: I have a right to be frightened! You tried to kill me.
Chris: I lost my temper one time. It won't happen again.
Isabella: Oh, like I'm supposed to believe that? You hate me. You'd like nothing better than to see me dead.
Chris: Would you stop it? Get ahold of yourself.
Isabella: That's easy for you to say. You didn't have hands around your throat trying to choke the life out of you.
Chris: So what do you want, an apology? Would that do any good?
Isabella: Are you kidding? Like I'd believe one word of it.
Chris: Isabella, I didn't come here to rehash this. I came here because I--
Isabella: You see this? You see this? I'm turning it on. That's right. I'm gonna record this, so if you threaten me in any way, I will go straight to the police.
Diane: Pretty.
Michael: Hey, freeze! This is late 18th century. Are you off medications? Are you in a rage? Anything?
Diane: No. Why?
Michael: I've been losing my breakables at an alarming rate.
Diane: Well, I come in peace, although I would like to talk to you
Michael: So talk.
Diane: It's serious.
Michael: Yeah, when isn't it?
Diane: Are you going to pay attention, or are you just gonna fuss with that?
Michael: Look, if that's going to rage, I'm gonna ask you to leave
Diane: Michael.
Michael: Okay, fine. Fine. Talk away. What is this about?
Diane: Look, I might be overreacting, but I witnessed something at isabella's the other day that, well, I really think you should know about. (Knock on door)
Jack: Hey, little brother.
Billy: Jack, come in.
Jack: So how you doing? How's it feel to be the man of the hour? You a little nervous?
Billy: I thought I would be, but, man, I just can't wait for this thing to start.
Jack: No part of you thinking of running off and starting a new life on some beach in fiji?
Billy: No. No way. I'm ready to do this.
Jack: That's what I like to hear.
Billy: That's how I feel. What's with all the questions?Jack: Oh, just a tradition, a final test of your resolve.
Billy: Well, we thought about about delaying after katherine's stroke.
Jack: I take it that thought didn't last too long.
Billy: We think it's what she would've wanted. And you can guess how much it means to mac for her grandma to be here.
Jack: A girl who grew up with no real sense of family, yeah.
Billy: Well, all that's changing now. She's got me and, I hope, my family.
Jack: Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I can tell you I think you found yourself one terrific lady. I wish you both the best of luck. Come here.
Mac: Hey, dad.
Brock: Hello, sweetheart. It's about that time.
Mac: Getting there.
Brock: Are you nervou
Mac: No.
Brock: Truth?
Mac: Terrified.
Brock: It's gonna be a beautiful wedding.
Mac: I want everything to be perfect.
Brock: Well, it is.
Mac: Not quite.
Brock: Oh, I have a feeling the duchess knows exactly what's going on here today. And I'm sure she's thrilled for the two of you.
Mac: The duchess, I love it when you call her that.
Brock: Well, that's what she is to me. And you are my princess. So... mackenzie, you know, as someone who loves you more than anyone else in the world, I have to ask. This marriage, are you sure you don't have any second thoughts?
Jill: That makes no sense. Billy and mackenzie? Cousin... where did you come up with that?
Liz: I didn't come up with anything. I didn't believe it either at first, but--
Jill: But now you do? Oh, mama, you're losing it.
Liz: I'm not losing it. I know what I'm talking about.
Jill: No, you do not. You're babbling.
Liz: Listen to me. I didn't make this up.
Jill: Well, then where did you come up with this absurd idea?
Liz: From charlotte. From your supposed birth mother.
Jill: Charlotte told you this?
Liz: Yes, jill. It's why she was so upset about this marriage, why she knows it can never happen.
Jill: But where did she come-- where did she come up with this? She can't possibly believe-- no. No. This makes no sense.
Liz: Only it does makeenense, jill, if you know the whole story.
Jill: No! No, this is just pure and utter craziness.
Liz: Well, imagine how I felt when charlotte told me.
Jill: Told you what? I do not know what you're getting at.
Liz: Jill, this isn't easy to explain. Just know that charlotte ramsey is not the woman you believed her to be.
Jill: Stop it! Stop saying that!
Liz: She's not your real birth mother, but she knows who is!
Jill: How could she know that?
Liz: Because she was there.
Jill: What?
Liz: When you were born. How do you think her name got on your birth certificate?
Jill: (Whispering) oh, my god. So you're saying...
Liz: Charlotte was the first person to see you alive. She told me the whole story. She was there
with your real birth mother when you were born.
Jill: But that means that char-- charlotte must know who it is. Good afternoon. A police dog has caught a man believed to have committed one of the most disturbing sexual assaults in edmonton's history. He's been on the run since last august after a mother was raped in the duggan area...+++are edmonton police forced to fill a ticket quota? The issue was raised at the trial of an edmonton police officer this week... we'll have reaction from the police commission.+++ And - long term care costs are skyrocketing in alberta. We'll tell you why at six. Relationship needs alittle colour,
Mary: Why, paul? Why didn't you tell me?
Paul: Oh, I'm sorry, mom. What the hell are you talking about?
Mary: Isabella, of course. I had to learn about it from that little witch herself, that she is intending to stall this divorce. She has no intention of bringing my little grandson home until lord only knows when.
Paul: You know, I'm really busy right now. I don't want to get into this.
Mary: It's outrageous, paul. We've got to figure out some way to stop her. Son, are you listening to me?!
Paul: Yes, I am listening to you! But talking about it only makes me angrier.
Mary: Well, you should be angry. You should be furious! Question is--what are you gonna do about it?
Paul: You know, until I can calm down and think straight, I'm not gonna do anything about it, and you know what you're gonna do? You're gonna leave it alone. In fact, you're gonna leave me alone.
Mary: All right, then. If you won't talk to me, maybe christine'll have a little to say about this.
Paul: No, you're not gonna do that either! You're gonna leave her alone. She has been through enough with this-- more than enough. You are not to see her, do you hear me?
Michael: So you witnessed someing.
Diane: Yes, I did.
Michael: A crime?
Diane: Not yet.
Michael: How cryptic.
Diane: You know what? I'm sorry, I don't mean to be. It was just really unnerving. I mean, I've known paul williams for--well, gosh, it has to be almost half my life.
Michael: My sympathies. Could we get on with this, please?
Diane: Isabella asked him over to talk the other day, and I was there. I... well, I was in another room, because she said that she was afraid to be alone with him.
Mhahael: Oh, poppycock.
Diane: And I felt the same way, believe me, until I heard what went on.
Michael: Keep going.
Diane: Paul was adamant about wanting a divorce, which isabella refuses to accept, but the more he heard-- well, you talk about a rage. I mean, the guy totally flipped out.
Michael: Flipped out how?
Diane: Well, there was isabella trying to stay calm, not really raising her voice, but by the end, my god, paul was shouting at her. He was cursing her. He was being extremely threatening. Michael, he said that he would get her out of his life no matter what it took.
Michael: It's a figure of speech.
Diane: Okay. One he punctuated by picking up a box of her things and throwing it against the wall. I heard the crash. Listen to me. He was out of control. It was frightening.
Michael: Look, he didn't attack her. He didn't get physical with her. He's just venting, don't you think?
Diane: It almost sounds like you're defending him.
Michael: Oh, no. Trust me, diane. I couldn't be happier that the man is frustrated. Couldn't happen to a nicer idiot.
Diane: This went way beyond frustrated. Isabella was terrified. I've never seen her like that.
Michael: Well, she--
Diane: And didn't he beat the daylights out of you once? I mean, I wasn't invited to the christening, but from what I heard--
Michael: He has a temper. Got it.
Diane: I don't know why you won't listen. Paul is a violent man. He's not that mellow guy that he used to be. And I don't kn when things changed, but I am here to tell you that isabella has a right to be scared.
Chris: Go ahead, turn it on. You want to tape this, be my guest.
Isabella: Fine. There. You wanna talk, talk, and then get out.
Chris: I know you're planning to fight the divorce.
Isabella: Well, paul's not thinking saight. You've poisoned his mind.
Chris: Have I?
Isabella: You have mm thinking he hates me.
Chris: This has nothing to do with me. This has to do with your actions and your lies, the way you tricked him into this marriage.
Isabella: That's all immaterial, christine.
Chris: Oh, I beg to differ. I think it's very material.
Isabella: I'm contesting this divorce because it's wrong.
Chris: And what, you think if you drag this on long enough that pl l will come to his senses and, what, take you back?
Isabella: That's exactly what I think will happen.
Chris: Well, you can think what you want. You can draw this out. You can delay the inevitable. You can hire a lawyer who will throw up every obstacle in the book, I believe you're capable of that. But know one thing-- paul has options, too, and he is not gonna take this lying down.
[ Crying of loon ]
Michael: Isabella doesn't know you're here, by any chance?
Diane: No, she has no idea that I'm talking to you.
Michael: Then why are you talking to me?
Diane: Because I'm worried about her. She needs help. She's all alone in that apartment, living in fear of paul and in christine... even mary williams.
Michael: This is ridiculous. Who else is she afraid of, dust bunnies? Girl scouts? Avon ladies?
Diane: And I was where you are until I thought about what I'd heard.
Michael: Look, I'm just not buying any of these people being a serious threat to her.
Diane: It doesn't matter whether or not you're buying it, michael. The point is she's terrified. Won't you at least go talk to her?
Michael: Fine. Fine. Maybe I can talk some sense into her.
Diane: Thank you. And maybe I'm overreacting, but better safe than sorry, don't you agree?
Mac: Did you think I'd be having second thoughts?
Brock: I just asked, honey.
Mac: It's a little overwhelming, the commitment we're making.
Brock: Yeah, marriage is a little overwhelming.
Mac: But second thoughts? Dad, the worst time of my life was when billy and I split up. I felt so empty, like a part of me was missing. So if you're wondering if I'm ready for this, if it's truly what I want, the answer is yes.
Brock: That's all I needed to know. Oh, my, I'm a very lucky man.
Mac: Why do you say that?
Brock: Mac, you were almost grown when I found out that I had a daughter, and I missed so much of your life. And now here I am with you on your wedding day.
Mac: Dad, I'm the lucky one. All my life I felt so alone. Then to find a family like you and grandma, I guess someone up there was really watching out for me.
Brock: Yeah. It was destiny. You found us. And then you found billy, the man of your dreams.
Mac: He is, dad. He truly is.
Brock: You know, I've had my concerns about this marriage.
Mac: But now you're here supporting us. Dad, that means so much to me.
Brock: You haven't asked, and I'm not sure it's what you want, but, uh... well, how would you feel about letting your old man give you away?
Billy: You don't think I'm an idiot, getting married so young?
Jack: I think it's a wise man that knows what he has and has the courage to grab hold of it.
Billy: You make that up, or read it in a book somewhere?
Jack: I think that's original.
Billy: So you disagree with my mom, that I should be out sowing my wild oats?
Jack: First, I disagree with your mom on a lot of things. Secondly, I've done it both ways. I think the state of marriage has a lot going for it, particularly if you found the right girl.
Billy: Which I have. My life would be empty without mac.
Jack: Then stop second guessing yourself. Keep a close eye on your bride today. Memorize that image. Memorize every moment of the day.
Billy: Why are you telling me this?
Jack: Because there are times, little brother, when you need those memories. Every marriage has them. When looking back and remembering what you have, what you share, gives you the strength to go on.
Jill: No. No, this makes no sense. No, I n'n't believe this.
Liz: In your heart, you already know, even though you're not admitting it yet.
Jill: What, do you know what's going on inside me better than I know myself?
Liz: Right now I believe I do. Oh, honey, you're in denial.
Jill: I'm gonna tell you one last time-- this makes no sense. You are telling me that charlotte is not my birth mother, and I know she is.
Liz: You don't know that! You know exactly the opposite. You're just not ready to admit it to yourself. Oh, jill, I know it's frightening.
Jill: I don't know why she's doing is. I don't know why she's saying these-- (whispering) oh, my god. She's feeling guilty about you. She's feeling bad about what happened.
Liz: Oh, jill, this has nothing to do with the woman feeling guilty or sorry for me. It has to do with a woman who knows what can and cannot be.
Jill: Oh, my god. I feel like you're playing mind games with me.
Liz: Oh, honey, it's not a game, believe me. But that woman has taken you for a ride.
Jill: Stop! No! Don't keep saying that! For god's sake, I'm not listening. I don't want to hear this. I don't want to hear it.
Charlotte: It's true, dear, what your mother is saying. I've taken you for a terrible ride. You never should've believed me. I am not your birth mother.
Charlotte: But... I know who is. And I think maybe down deep inside you do, too.
Esther: Oh, that is great, colleen. Leave those right there.
Colleen: Okay.
Larry: Esther, the champagne is here. Do you want me to put it in the kitchen?
Esther: Oh, yes, please. Thank you, larry. I made room in the refrigerator.
Larry: Great.
Esther: Oh, please, be careful. The cake was just delivered, and it's on the kitchen table.
Larry: Don't worry. I won't go anywhere near it.
Esther: Okay.
Raul: Hey, esther, maybe you should go supervise.
Esther: Oh, you're probably right. Mr. Worthington's assistant is here to help, but I want everything to be perfect. I'll be right back.
Raul: Okay.
Raul: Hey, you. How you doing over here?
Colleen: I'm good, I guess.
Raul: Yeah?
Colleen: Yeah. Where's brittany?
Raul: That's a good question. I thought she'd be here by now.
Brittany: Sorry, sorry, sorry. I know I'm late. I feel awful. Just put me to work. Whatever you need, I'm all over it.
Mary: I assume that you're referring to christine nearly strangling isabella.
Paul: And how did you hear about that?
Mary: From isabella,of course. She's trying to get me to feel sorry for her. Now under the circumstances, frankly, I think christine was justified.
Paul: Oh, mom, that's ridiculous. You don't know what you're talking about.
Mary: I beg your pardon.
Paul: Do you have any idea what it means for a woman like chris to be pushed that far? She is not violent! She never has been violent!
Mary: Well, maybe not, but a person can only take so much.
Paul: Now you listen to me, mother, this little incident has cost chris both emotionally and psychologically, and I'm not going to be a party to anything that will cause her any more pain and neither are you!
Mary: I... it's just that I can't bear it, paul, what isabella is doing, threatening to drag out this divorce. And ricky, your child, she's threatening to keep him away from us forever, and I'm so afraid she's going to get away with it.
Paul: Look, would you just try and get a grip? You're not helping.
Mary: I can't help it. I can't help it. The thought of never seeing my little grandchild again, it's just tearing me apart.
Isabella: Are you paul's lawyer?
Chris: Not at this point.
Isabella: Meaning you might be?
Chris: We haven't even discussed it.
Isabella: Then you have no right tossing around these threats.
Chris: No one is threatening you, but I think you could use a good dose of reality.
Isabella: The world according to christine?
Chris: If you're smart, you'll listen, because you're about to get some excellent free legal advice.
Isabella: Worth every penny. If you don't agree to this divorce, paul is gonna sue you for conspiracy and fraud. Everything that you and michael admitted will become public record.
Isabella: So?
Chris: So think about what that will mean. There will be testimony about how you and michael met, about that top secret court case from years ago. It was pretty sleazy, wasn't it? It's all gonna blow up into some big, juicy scandal. How embarrassing that will be for your family, not to mention ricky someday! Is that what you want, to be the object of ridicule?
Isabella: Am I supposed to be intimidated, christine?
Chris: Just know, if you force paul's hand, it's gonna come back to haunt you in a major way, you and michael. If paul named him a co-conspirator, michael could lose his license to practice law. Do you really want that over your head?
Isabella: You know, christine, you haven't really said anything that's gonna make me change my mind about this divorce.
Chris: Really? Well, how about we try this on for size? If he doesn't get the divorce, he'll go for an annulment.
Isabella: On what grounds?
Chris: T the same grounds-- conspiracy and fraud. Do you know what that will mean? If the annulment is granted, there will be no divorce. No divorce, no settlement, which means you wind up with nothing. Have you even considered that?
Isabella: What kind of fool do you take me for, christine? Of course I've considered it! I've considered all of this!
Chris: I wonder.
Isabella: Well, don't, because I'm not stupid and neither is the judge who's gonna hear this case.
Chris: And what's your argument gonna be? That paul was fair game because I was out of town on business? Give me a break!
Isabella: No, he thought you left for good, and then we fell in love. I know that's kind of hard for you to hear, but it's the truth. That is why paul married me, because he loved me. And we have a child, a child that paul loves more than anything on earth.
Chris: Well, paul doesn't love you. Whatever infatuation that was, it's over. Yes, he'll still have a relationship with ricky, but that's it!
Isabella: Okay, just let me t t this straight. You're going to go in front of a judge and argue that paul was some sort of idiot?
Chris: Isabella, you don't know what you're talking about.
Isabella: Why don't you just take a good, long look at me, christine? Are you saying no man could be attracted, that paul couldn't be? Well, let me tell you something, he was, and we were hot. We were so hot together.
Chris: Oh, shut up!
Isabella: Oh, you talk about me needing a reality check? I think you're the one who doesn't get it! You left him! You abandoned him! You were in asia!
Chris: Do not say another word, I mean it.
Isabella: No, the truth hurts, doesn't it?
Chris: Shut up!
Isabella: Don't come near me! (Knock on door)
Michael: Isabella, open up! Are you all right? Isabella!
Ibebella: Michael, she's lost it. She's out of control! You're looking live at edmonton from our skytracker atop manulife place.Good afternoon. I'm lesley macdonald. Coming up at 5:30...bad news for alberta seniors, who are being hit with a whopping 40-percent increase in the cost of long- term care. And police in great falls, montana are defending their handling of the dar heatherington investigation. Plus...there's a campaign underway in the u-s calling for a boycott of canada because of the seal hunt. That'S......ahead on edmonton's global news at 5:30.
Mac: Dad, the only reason I didn't ask you to give me away was because I knew you didn't really approve.
Brock: Yeah, well, mac, you're so young. It's hard to approve, but I guess I do have to acknowledge that what you and billy have does seem very real.
Mac: Everything feels so right when I'm with him.
Brock: You've been given a very special gift, mac. Who am I to say that it came at the wrong time?
Mac: Are... dad, are you--
Brock: I'm saying you have my blessing. I hope this marriage will bring you and billy all the the good things you deserve.
Mac: Oh, dad!
Brock: Mac, it's a little bittersweet for me. It's only been a few years since you came into my life, and now here I am. I'm giving you away.
Mac: No, but you're not really giving me away.
Brock: There will not be a father on this planet more proud than I will be walking you down that aisle.
Mac: I'll always be your little gi.. I love you, dad.
Brock: Oh, I love you, mackenzie. I thank god every day you came into my life.
Billy: I get the feeling you're not talking about mac and me now.
Jack: No, I'm not, but I should be. This is your big day.
Billy: Well, the waiting is starting to get to me.
Jack: It won't be long.
Billy: You know what I hope?
Jack: Go ahead.
Billy: I hope this marriage will be something that can bring people together, not tear them apart. If mom and katherine can just find some common ground--
Jack: Common ground, jill and kay. Well, you are the eternal optimist.
Billy: Then you don't hold out much hope, huh?
Jack: You know what? I'm not gonna bring down your special day. Stranger things have happened, and you know what? I still believe in miracles.
Jill: No, this can't be happening. Charlotte... charlotte, please tell me that you're not a part of this, this practical joke or whatever it is.
Charlotte: It's not a joke, sweetheart. It's reality, the truth. I'm not your birth mother.
Jill: But we had this connection. It was really deep and very meaningful, and I was starting to love you.
Charlotte: I know you were, and I hope you realize it felt great, better than anything I've felt in a long time.
Jill: Okay. Okay.
Charlotte: That's why I let you go on thinking what I told you was the truth.
Jill: Let's just pretend for a moment you're not my birth mother. Let's just say that you're someone who saw an opportunity and decided to run with it. So how come you claim to know who my birth mother is?
Liz: I already told you, jill.
Jill: Mom, let me talk to charlotte.
Charlotte: It all makes sense if you listen.
Jill: I hope you're happy, john. This is your doing. You're the one who had to open up this whole thing about charlotte and her sister and you dating.
John: You're right, jill.
Charlotte: That's right, honey. Eileen, my sweet baby sister-- she died two years ago in washington state. Tacoma, washington-- you can check it. Eileen was the last person on this planet who gave a damn about me until you came along.
Liz: You get this straight, woman. When jill came looking, you should have told that search agency they had the wrong person. You should have done it right then.
Charlotte: I know, elizabeth.I did a bad thing, and I'm trying to get through to jill before it goes from bad to worse. Honey, those kids can't get married.
Jill: You didn't answer my question. How could you possibly know who my birth mother is?
Liz: I already told you, dear. Charlotte was there when you were born.
Charlotte: But I wasn't your mother. Katherine was.
Jill: (Gasps) no! No! No!
Raul: Hey.
Brittany: Hey, yourself. The place looks great, doesn't it?
Raul: Yeah, yeah. Hey, baby, what took you so long to get here today?
Brittany: Oh, I just lost track of time.
Raul: Okay, where were you?
Brittany: There was just some stuff I needed to take care of.
Raul: Is there something going on you're not telling me about?
Brittany: Okay, fine. The truth is I had an interview.
Raul: What do you mean? What kind of an interview?
Brittany: For a job.
Raul: What? You're quitting the boutique? For real?
Brittany: Yeah, I already gave my notice.
Raul: What? I can't believe this. Where is this other job?
Brittany: Raul, enough.
Raul: No, seriously, tell me.
Brittany: Enough!
Larry: Hey, guys, break it up, okay? It's an hour before the wedding, and we've got a lot of stuff to do, so if you wouldn't mind, please, save the fireworks till later.
Raul: We are gonna talk about this.
Michael: What the hell's going on here?
Chris: A lot of melodramatic garbage.
Michael: Why did you scream like that?
Isabella: Because she was coming at me. She was about to-- god onlynonows what she was about do to me.
Chris: That's such baloney.
Isabella: Thank god you came when you did, michael. She had that look in her eye, that same look that she had when she tried to strangle me.
Michael: Isabella, I don't know what's going on here, but you've got--
Isabella: No, she is dangerous. Michael, I asked her to leave, and she flat out refused.
Michael: Is that true?
Chris: I came here to talk to her. That's all.
Isabella: Fine, you talked. Now get out, and I mean it.
Chris: You haven't heard a word I've said, have you? I'm sorry I wasted my time.
Isabella: Oh!
Michael: Yo, sweetheart, it's me. You can drop the act now.
Isabella: This isn't an act, michael.
Michael: Oh, right.
Isabella: Look, I know you're still hung up on the woman, but this is the second time christine has shown up at my door and lost control.
Michael: It still doesn't explain--
Isabella: She pushed her way in here! She used physical force and started threatening me! You know, she's not the only one.
Michael: I've heard about your conversation with paul.
Isabella: Yes, paul.By the time paul left, he was yelling and throwing things. And mary, mary shows up this morning. And you should have seen her, michael. It was like she was possessed. I've never seen someone so violently upset!
Michael: It's mary! It's mary! Violent mary? I'm sorry. I'm just having the slightest bit of trouble believing this.
Isabella: Well, believe it, michael.
Paul: Here. Take a sip. Take a couple of deep breaths.
Mary: (Groans)
>>Auaul: Look, mom, I am not giving up on ricky and neither should you.
Mary: But he's out in california. He's 1,000 miles away!
Paul: Right, only for the time being.
Mary: Honey, don't you see what isabella is doing? She's holding the welfare of an innocent little boy over our heads.
Paul: Mom, I want you to promise me something.
Mary: What?
Paul: That you're gonna leave chris out of this.
Mary: Honey, I never wanted to involve christine, bubut that's all the more reason why you and I need to talk this out.
Paul: I told you I am not ready. I'm not ready to talk about it.
Mary: Oh, so what you're telling me is that you're content to sit by and do nothing? Paul, isabella is evil. Evil cannot be ignored. It has to be stopped!
Paul: Mom, look, whatever crazy ideas you have in your head, I ntnt you to forget them, because you're only making things worse.
Mary: How can they possibly be any worse? No, no! Paul, if you're not gonna do something about this, I will. Ly on shampoos to care foryour hair.
Micelel: All right, look, isabella, I know you haven't asked for any advice, but if you are this freaked out at the thought of people barking at you--
Isabella: Will you stop acting like this is in my head? I can't answer my door without someone bursting in and hurling threats!
Michael: Well, then get out of here.
Isabella: What, go to a hotel?
Michael: No, get the hell out of genoa city.
Isabella: What?
Michael: Look, you're scared. You're miserable. What is keeping you here? Go to L.A. Be with your son.
Isabella: You don't undetatand.
Michael: Oh... you still have hopes where paul's concerned.
Isabella: Paul could come back.
Michael: Oh, sweetheart--
Isabella: No, it could happen, michael. It could happen.
Michael: You are scared to death of the man. Is that really husband material? I don't even know why you want him back!
Michael: Please, don't cry, okay? You just-- listen to me. You need a little space. You eded a little time to get a little perspective.
Isabella: No, I need to feel safe again, michael. Will you help me?
Michael: How?
Isabella: I want restraining orders against all three.
Michael: Oh...
Isabella: Christine and paul and mary.
Michael: Isabella, you are all over the map with this guy.
Isabella: Please, just say you'll do it. Say you'll do it as soon as possible.
Jill: You honestly expect me to believe that katherine chancellor is my mother? Katherine chancellor is my mother?
Charlotte: It's the truth, jill. I'm sorry.
Jill: You're sorry? Sorry? Dear, god, anyone on the face of the earth! Not katherine! Oh, lord, lord, lord, lord, lord.
Liz: Jill, we all wish we could tell you it isn't true, but it is. You have to accept it.
Jill: No! No! I will not accept it! I will never accept it!
John: Jill! Jill, take it easy. It is going to be all right.
Jill: Why do you think I would even believe this woman? Is she's such a damn liar, why would you believe her?!
Liz: Jill, because she's learned to love you as a daughter.
John: And if she could have continued this masquerade, she would have!
Charlotte: It wasn't possible. I knew too much.
Jill: What do you mean you knew too much?
John: About billy and mackenzie.
Charlotte: Billy, your son. We talked a lot about him. Then I met that sweet, little girlfriend. But when I found out this girlfriend was brock's daughter--
Jill: What are you talking about? You just met brock!
Charlotte: But years ago, when he was just a little boy, I knew his mother. We were friends. You see, katherine wasn't very happy in those years, and neither was I. We helped each other.
Jill: Helped each other how?
Charlotte: I was carrying a baby I didn't want. She helped me to get it taken care of. Later on, while her husband was overseas with brock, she came to me for help.
Jill: What kind of help?
Charlotte: When the baby was born, I took the child to the hospital to be adopted. What I didn't know, I had to give them a name for the birth certificate. Otherwise, the authorities would have come looking for the child's mother.
Jill: And the child was me. I was that little baby that you dropped at the hospital, wasn't I?
Charlotte: That must be where your husband found her, elizabeth.
Jill: Is that true, mama? Is that where daddy found me, at the hospital?
Jill: Oh, mama, make this go away. Oh! Just tell me this is a nightmare. I want to be your little girl again. Please, can't you make that happen? I don't want to be anybody else's daughter. I don't want to be anybody else's daughter but yours! Oh, mama! Oh!
