Dru: Morning. Mmm. Something smells good.

Neil: Well, either that's the costa rican coffee blend or my world-famous cheese omelettes.

Dru: I think it'slittle of both.

 Neil: So relax, enjoy.

Dru: Uh-huh. You sure there's not a deck of cardsididing around here someplace? Neil: No, baby, no, no poker this morning, only nourishment.

Dru: Okay, well, let's get to it.

 Neil: Here we go. Coffee.

 Dru: Is your watch right?

Neil: Of course it's right. Why? 3EA07C9D.JPG

Dru: No, because I set my alarm clock last night, and it should have gone off an hour and a half ago, so that must be broken.

Neil: Oh, no, it's not broken. This is quartz genuine crystal, and your alarm clock, I shut that off.

 Dru: You shut it--you what?

Neil: Yeah, you were sleeping so peacefully. I figured you needed the rest.

>>Ru: Well, you figured wron brother. I had an important appointment this morning.

Neil: Well, forget about that appointment. Just sit down, let me serv my culinary masterpiece.

Dru: I can't believe you would do this. How could you turn off my alarm clock? 3EA07CB7.JPG

Neil: Well, what time was your appointment?

Dru: A half-hour ago, and i hope the man is still there. I can't believe you.

Lily: Okay, now tell me everything.

 Wes: All right.

Lily: When did you get in?

 Wes: A little past 2.

 Lily: In the morning.

 Wes: Mm-hmm.

Lily: Unreal. Aren't you, like, totally jet-lagged?

Wes: I'm sure it's gonna catch up with me.

Lily: You know, I'm really, really glad that you called.

Wes: Well, I promised I would.

Lily: Paris. Wow. I wish I could have gone.

Wes: Wasn't the same without you. You know that. 3EA07CE8.JPG

Lily: So everything's cool at the hospital? They don't mind you being gone this long?

 Wes: No, they understand.

Lily: And that's why you went. The only reason?

Wes: It doesn't hurt to check in every once in a while.

Lily: Yeah, make sure you still have a job if you want one.

 Wes: Yeah, right.

Lily: You wouldn't be leaving anything out, would you?

 Wes: Like what?

Lily: Like, I don't know. It just seems like you could have talked to them on the phone or something.

Wes: What are you curious about?

Lily: Nothing. I just felt a little weird not having you around. 3EA07D12.JPG

>>Es: Well, if that's your way of saying you missed me, the feeling's mutual.

 Mac: More juice?

Billy: Uh, sure, thanks. Getting kind of late. Think we should wake raul up?

Mac: No, let him sleep. He could use the rest.

Billy: Probably right. He's been so on edge lately.

Mac: Yeah, I really-- I really hate what this is doing to him.

Billy: Yeah, I know what you mean. It's rough seeing my best friend mope around, all depressed. I just wish there was some way I could help him.

 Mac: You could find brittany.

Billy: She's gonna be home soon, mac.

Mac: I hope so, billy, 'cause I don't know how much more of this raul can take. 3EA07D3F.JPG

Raul: (Whistling) good morning, everybody. Oh, excellent. You got juice. Don't mind if I do.

 Victor: Where am I?

Nikki: You're in the lining room.

 Victor: Oh, good morning.

Nikki: What, you never came up to bed.

 Victor: Sorry about that.

Nikki: Well, don't apologize. I was just a little concerned.

Victor: I didn't mean to worry you.

Nikki: I missed you. I'm surprised to see that you slept on the couch.

Victor: I just came in last night, sat down, and I guess I started thinking about things.

 Nikki: Yeah.

Victor: Before I knew it, I was asleep. 3EA07DB7.JPG

Nikki: I'm almost afraid to ask.

 Victor: Ask what?

Nikki: How did your talk with nicholas go last night?

 Victoria: Thanks.

 Nick: Here you go.

Victoria: So you and dad talked last night?

 Nick: Yeah, he talked.

 Victoria: Did you listen?

Nick: You know this isn't a good subject for us.

Victoria: That's because you insist on being stubborn.

Nick: I don't want anything to do with him.

Victoria: Nicholas, he's your father, and he loves you.

Nick: Yeah, one thing about our old man is he doesn't know the difference between love and control, and if anyone would understand that, I think it would be you. 3EA07DE3.JPG

Victoria: You're right. Dad and I have had our issues. But I think you should cut him some slack. He's been very patient with you.

Nick: What, are you on his side now?

Victoria: I'm not on anyone's side. I just think it's time for this family to heal. You told me about sharon's letters. She's not coming back.

Nick: Do you understand what I've lost? I lost the woman I love. She's been driven to abandon her family.

Victoria: And you blame dad for everything when it's sharon who's so messed up. Good afternoon. The war in iraq is giving special meaning to this weekend's easter traditions... at the way of the cros.... the homeless and war refugees were given special recognition...+++ alberta is leading the nation when it comes to organ donation... and a leduc boy is marking a birthday today - by celebrating a very special gift he recieved over a decade ago... a new heart.+++Plus die hard duffers hit the millwoods links in the snow today... 3EA07EC4.JPG

 Dru: (Sighs) damn it.

Neil: Damn it, what? Too late?

Dru: Yeah, it's too late. I guess the guy got tired of waiting on me.

Neil: I'm sure you can reschedule, so in the meantime, why don't you sit down, eat something and make you feel better?

Dru: You know, neil, do you reay y think an omelette is gonna buffer the situation? You know, jack abbott went to great lengths to set up this appointment for me.

Neil: Honey, if I had known about your meeting, I never would have touched your alarm clock.

Dru: Why do you think I set it in the first place, neil, to go deep sea fishing?

Neil: I of all people understand how punctual you are about your job. 3EA07EE1.JPG

Dru: How could you do this to me? How could you do it?

Neil: I thought after last night that things might be different for us this morning, you know, so I called my office earlier. I told them I wouldn't be in until this afternoon. I assumed that you could do the same.

Dru: Unless you didn't want me to make my meeting.

 Neil: What are you implying?

 Dru: Only one thing.

Neil: Are you suggesting that I'm trying to sabotage you?

Dru: I wouldn't put it past you.

Neil: Oh, come on. The only thing I'm guilty of is wanting to extend an incredible evening into an incredible morning.

Dru: Mm-hmm. You are confused, okay? That was last night. This is a new day. And the mood has changed. 3EA07F05.JPG

Neil: Yeah, but, honey, girl, baby, things don't have to, you know? In fact, isn't lily heading to school after the abbotts? Why don't we go back in the bedroom? We got the whole place to ourselves.

Dru: Poker game over. No, thanks.

Neil: Why don't we go back in the bedroom, get a little freaky--

 Dru: Would you stop it?

 Neil: What?

Dru: Just because you lured me into the bedroom last night, does not mean I'm gonna follow you over the cliff today.

Neil: You know, you're so cute when you get mad. Was that meeting really that important anyway?

Dru: Wouldn't you like to know? 3EA07F26.JPG

Neil: Okay, forget it. Drucilla, you know what? I'm sorry. I'm sorry I touched your alarm clock. It won't happen next time.

Dru: Yeah, well, who says there's gonna be a next time?

Neil: So it's gonna be like that?

Dru: Yeah, it's gonna be like that.

Neil: You know what, woman? You would drive a man to drink. (Doorbell rings)

 Dru: You know what? Stop.

Neil: Thank god I'm not drinking anymore. This is ridiculous. I make you a cheese omelette...

Dru: Oh, great, what do you want?

Lily: Wesley, I kind of, like, you know, depend on you.

Wes: I do know. That's why I kinda, like, you know, made a point of telling you where I was going. 3EA07F49.JPG

Lily: Yeah, it was a deep, dark secret.

 Wes: Oh, not really.

Lily: I'm the only one you told, right?

Wes: Mmm, but it's not like I was trying to keep it from anyone.

Lily: Oh, well, whatever. No one knows. At least I didn't blab it.

 Wes: How come?

Lily: Are you kidding? April in paris? Everyone would be so jealous.

 Wes: Maybe.

Lily: Plus, I just guess it jt never really came up. Mom and dad have been real busy. And I haven't even seen aunt liv.

 Wes: Busy, huh?

 Lily: Yeah.

Wes: Is everything going okay there?

 Lily: Sure. 3EA07F74.JPG

 Wes: Really?

 Lily: Uh-oh. The shrink look.

Wes: No, this is the friend look.

Lily: Wes, don't worry. Everything is fine.

Wes: Lily, are you being straight with me?

 Lily: Why wouldn't I be?

Wes: Because you know I would worry.

Lily: Yeah, well, you're the only one.

Wes: What's that supposed to mean?

Lily: Nothing. You know, why don't we just change the subject?

Wes: Lily, come on, tell me what's going on with your folks? Lily: Well, other than the fact that they're miserable to be around, everything's great. Aren't you glad you asked?

Billy: Sit down. Pour your juice. Tell us why you're in such a good mood. 3EA07FA1.JPG

Raul: Well, I slept better than I have in weeks.

Mac: No kidding. You actually have a smile on your face.

 Raul: Is that a problem?

Mac: No, no, but it's just last night--

Raul: Yeah, I was a little down.

Mac: And now you're over it?

Raul: Yeah, let's just say i woke up with a whole new perspective.

Billy: You're gonna have to give us more than that, buddy.

Raul: All right, well, I don't know. I guess I just realized that what do I have to complain about, right? I mean, compared to a lot of people, I don't have it so bad. I've got some great friends, family, school. And to top it off, man, have you looked outside that window? It is a beautiful day. Seriously, what else could you want? 3EA07FCB.JPG

Mac: Don't you have class this morning?

 Raul: I'm not going.

 Billy: You never cut class.

Raul: Well, it's a special occasion.

Billy: What, did we forget your birthday or something?

 Raul: It's better than that.

Mac: Raul, what's gotten into you?

Raul: I can't answer that, mac. Why don't you ask her? would bring such a suspenseful the green jacket is going north of the border.

 The perfect size.

Olivia: Well, apparently, this is a bad time.

Neil: Oh, no, not at all. Come on in, liv. Dru and I were about to have breakfast.

Olivia: Oh, really, have breakfast or a fistfight? 3EA080EF.JPG

Neil: Only a slightly heated discussion.

Olivia: Mmm. Dru, I really need to talk to you before you go to work.

Dru: Sure, I've already missed my important meeting, so why don't we all have breakfast together, one big happy family, right, hon?

 Olivia: Are you sure?

Dru: Yeah, wolfgang puck here has provided us with some lovely omelettes this morning, so...

Neil: As you can tell, she's just slightly irritated with me.

Dru: No, no, no, no. Neil, by the way if you have anything important, just cancel it, because neil has declared this to be national half day of work, yeah.

Neil: Uh-huh, and so if that's the case, I'm gonna start my half day early. I'm gonna get out of here, go to the office. I lost my appetite, so w will see you later. Call you. 3EA08119.JPG

Dru: Don't cut your eyes at me like that, liv.

Olivia: Word of advice-- quit your job before it's too late.

 Mac: Brittany!

Billy: What are you-- when--when did you get--

Brittany: You two look like you've seen a ghost.

Billy: When did you get back?

 Brittany: Last night.

Raul: Yeah, you guys were at the coffeehouse.

Billy: Why didn't you tell us when we got home?

Raul: 'Cause we wanted to spend some time alone together.

Brittany: I'm glad we waited. You two should see the looks on your faces right now.

 Mac: How are you?

 Brittany: I'm good.

 Billy: Are you, uh...

Brittany: Pregnant? Yes, billy, I am. 3EA08145.JPG

Mac: How does it feel to be home?

Brittany: Well, it's hard to say. I mean, I don't really think of this place as home quite yet. Last night was the first night I spent here.

 Mac: What do you think?

Brittany: It's not too bad. I'm not crazy about a few of your decorating choices. So I'll have to add my own touch here and there.

Billy: And why am I not surprised?

Brittany: What is that supposed to mean?

Billy: It's good to have you back, britt.

 Mac: Yeah, same here.

Brittany: Thanks. So what's been going on with youwowo? Anything interesting happen while I was away? 3EA08166.JPG

 Billy: You didn't tell her?

Raul: Oh, we had other stuff we had to talk about, billy.

 Brittany: Tell me what?

Raul: Besides, I thought it would be better coming from you.

Billy: Do you want to do the honors, mac?

Mac: No, that's okay. You can.

Brittany: Hello. Does somebody want to fill me in? What's the big news?

Billy: Mac and i are getting married.

 Brittany: You're engaged?

 Mac: That's right.

Brittany: Well, let me see the ring.

Billy: Well, that's not actually in the budget yet.

Brittany: Hmm. So when are you getting married?

 Billy: Next month. 3EA0818D.JPG

 Brittany: Why so soon?

Billy: We know it's what we want. No point in waiting.

Raul: A't't that great, babe? Two of our best friends getting hitched.

 Brittany: Yeah. It's great. Congratulations.

 Mac: Thanks.

Nikki: I shouldn't have asked you about your talk with nicholas.

Victor: It's all right. No blood was shed.

Nikki: I suppose I should be thankful for that. I had hoped you'd be able to turn things around with him.

Victor: I wouldn't wait for that if I were you. He still holds me responsible for all of his problems.

 Nikki: It's just so unfair.

Victor: Well, not from his perspective. 3EA081BC.JPG

Nikki: You have been so patient with him.

Victor: Not really entirely. I got a little angry with him the other day, accused him of being petulant and avoiding all responsibility.

Nikki: Well, I think that's true.

Victor: He's in terrible pain right now. In fact, I think he's even worse now than he was before.

Nikki: What do you mean worse? What's happened?

 Victor: He heard from sharon.

 Nikki: Oh, really?

 Victor: Yeah.

Nikki: And what did she have to say to our son?

Victor: Nothing. She sent three letters-- one to noah, one to cassie and one to me, but none to her husband. 3EA081F1.JPG

Nick: Victoria, I don't need to hear this right now.

Victor: You're taking such a hard line with dad.

Nick: It's because of him that my life is in shambles.

Victor: But you're willing to just forgive and forget when it comes to sharon.

Nick: Look, I don't know when I'm going to see sharon again or how I feel about her. I just know that I need her home for my kids, vic.

Victoria:Elell, you said yourself it doesn't look like th's in the cards.

Nick: All right, so I'll cope. What else can I do? And I don't need you telling me that sharon's messed up. If she weren't, we'd still be together right now.

Victoria: Nicholas, there are so many ways that dad could help you. 3EA08211.JPG

Nick: What's he gonna do, vic? Pay cassie to get well faster?

 Victoria: How is she?

Nick: She's still sleeping. I think she got worn out yesterday.

Victoria: But she is getting better.

Nick: Yea s she is. Dr. Walker's hopeful for a full recovery. He said there may be some psychological or emotional effects we don't know about yet.

Victoria: Well, she's been through a terrible ordeal.

Nick: She cried herself to sleep last night, clutching sharon's letter.

Victoria: You know what, nicholas? I hope that woman doesn't come back. She's caused enough damage.

Nick: I don't know what I'd do if she showed up, but why even speculate? It's not gonna happen. 3EA082CF.JPG

Brittany: So what's the story? Have you been talking about getting engaged, and I just didn't know about it, or was this more of a spontaneous thing?

 Billy: The second one.

 Brittany: How'd your parents react?

Billy: Mine didn't take it so well.

Mac: Yeah, I still haven't told my dad and grandma.

Brittany: That must be hard, not having eryryone behind you.

Billy: That's just the way it is. Our parents will have to deal.

Mac: So how are you feeling, physically, I mean?

Brittany: Not that hot. The morning sickness comes and goes, and it gets even worse when I think about what my poor body's gon g go through. 3EA082F5.JPG

Billy: Your parents know you're back yet?

Brittany: Not yet. I am so not looking forward to seeing them. I can only imagine what kind of a lecture I'm in for.

Raul: If you want, I'll go with you when you go talk to 'em.

Mac: W w far along are you?

Brittany: I'm not sure. Maybe six weeks.

Billy: Aren't doctors usually pretty precise with that stuff?

 Brittany: I haven't seen a doctor yet.

Mac: So maybe you're not even pregnant.

Brittany: Trust me. I am. All the signs are there.

Raul: She promised me she's gonna go to the doctor. In fact, the first thing we're doing this morning is we're gonna go to the drugstore and pick up a pregnancy test. 3EA0831D.JPG

Billy: Mac, we should get going. We're gonna be late for class.

Mac: Okay. Hey, I'm glad your home safe, britt.

 Brittany: Thanks.

 Raul: Bye.

 Mac: Bye.

Raul: Later, bud. You about ready to go? Baby, what's wrong?

Brittany: Do we really have to do this right now?

Raul: Hey, you could stay here. I'll go pick it up. I won't be long. I'll be back.

Wes: Okay, now we're getting somewhere.

 Lily: I need more coffee.

 Wes: Lily, sit down.

 Lily: Wesley.

Wes: No, I want to know. What's wrong? Why is this so uncomfortable for you to talk about? 3EA08357.JPG

Lily: Because it makes me so mad that mom picked dad. I mean, all they ever do is fight, and I hate it. (Door opens)

 Dru: You still here?

 Olivia: Nice welcome.

Dru: I mean, where do you get the gumption telling me to quit my job, olivia?

Olivia: Look, I had some misgivings right from the start about you working at jabot.

Dru: You're concerned that I am going to bump heads with the pregnant princess ashley, right?

Olivia: Mm-hm a and now I have another reason to worry.

Dru: What, the little squabble with neil? Please.

Olivia: Squabble? What, are you kidding me? Argument, full out war.

Dru: I see. When did you become a couples therapist? 3EA0838D.JPG

Olivia: Oh, dru, I mean, if you guys are serious about rekindling and sustaining your relationship, and I know that's what you want, maybe you should think about working somewhere else.

 Dru: Are you finished?

Olivia: Are you listening to what I'm saying? There's a lot at stake here. Come on, don't be so stubborn.

Dru: You don't know what you're talking about.

Olivia: Okay, what about what I just witnessed?

Dru: Honey, you didn't see what preceded that. A night of hot sex, the wonderful things neil told me about us, how important I am in his life, whether I work at jabot or not, I mean...

 Olivia: And the argument?

Dru: Ah, he turned off the alarm clock by accident. I had an important meeting this morning, yes, but he swore he had no idea that it put me in the bind that it did. Are you satisfied? 3EA083B7.JPG

Olivia: Okay, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions.

Dru: Okay, so why are you here?

Olivia: Reaching out. What do you mean?

Dru: And that would be it?

 Olivia: Yeah, that's mostly it.

Dru: Well, no sense in letting the food go to waste. You want some breakfast?

 Olivia: Love it.

 Dru: Okay.

Olivia: So heard anything from wesley these days?

Toronto.

 Are you rightñç Ñ ñ Ñ ç ñ q t r x q ñ (door opens)

 Brittany: That was fast.

Raul: Are you serious? Felt like I was in there for an hour. There are so many different pregnancy tests. I didn't know which one to get. 3EA084FA.JPG

Brittany: Well, I wouldn't have been much help. I never done this before.

Raul: Well, this one says it's 99% accurate. Results in two minutes. What's the matter, babe?

Brittany: I don't want to do this.

Raul: Brittany, this test is gonna tell us exactly what we're dealing with. Brittany: I know.

 Raul: What's the problem?

Brittany: For the past few weeks, I've been sure that I'm pregnant. I've never been late like this. I've never had symptoms like these before, but still there's a chance that I'm not. And when I take this test, I'll be certain. And I've never been so scared in my life.

Wes: What are your parents fighting about? 3EA08541.JPG

 Lily: Everything. Work mostly.

Wes: Because they're at competing companies?

Lily: We can't even get rough dinner without someone making some stupid remark.

Wes: I'm sorry to hear that.

Lily: Oh, I hate it. I don't even want to be around them. I go to my room and put on headphones just so I can block 'em out. Some family.

Wes: Lily, have you tried talking to them?

Lily: No, what would be the point? They're too caught up in their own stuff.

Wes: No, still that doesn't mean you have to--

Lily: My friends online pay more attention to me than they do. It's pathetic. I stayed at the abbotts' last night 'cause I couldn't take it anymore. 3EA0856A.JPG

Wes: I'm really surprised. I had no idea.

Lily: Look, mom and dad-- they're never gonna make it. They got divorced for a reason, and nothing's changed. So if you still wanna get back with her...

Wes: Whoa, lily, whoa. Do not go there.

Lily: Wes, I mean it. Now is your chance. I know you still love mom. I owow you do. And nothing against dad, but he's just not right for her. You're the one who made her happy, and we were all so good together, and it could be that way again. It was the only time in my life I felt like I was part of a real family.

Wes: Listen, now I can understand why you feel that way, but these are your parents. This is your family, lily. And there may be problems right now, maybe even some big ones, but there's nothing that can't be worked out, and I know your mom and dd are doing their best to give you a happy home. I'm sure of that. 3EA085A7.JPG

Lily: God, now you aren't listening, and nobody does. I'm so sick and tired of no one giving a damn!

Wes: Lily, sweetheart, listen, I'm not trying to--

Lily: You know what? Just forget it, okay?

 Wes: No.

Lily: I have to get to school.

Dru: Why are you asking about wes?

 Olivia: Just curious.

 Dru: About what exactly?

Olivia: Well, for starters, have you seen him?

 Dru: Why do you care?

 Olivia: I don'T. It's just a simple question.

Dru: Not from you it's not.

Olivia: And what does that mean?

Dru: You know, liv, are you concerned about something going on between wes and me? 3EA085CB.JPG

Olivia: Look, I didn't say that.

 Dru: You didn't have to.

Olivia: You know, you're so far off base.

Dru: If you're concerned about something, why don't you go to wes directly? I mean, you both are playmates, aren't you?

Olivia: You know what? Forget it.

Dru: No, no, no. He is one of the most upfront people I know. He doesn't play games like some people I know.

Olivia: And what's that supposed to mean?

Dru: Well, the two of you did sleep together. That would make you close. I know it was an impulsive thing, but...

Olivia: Okay, you know what? Would you just stop? I haven't seen the guy in a week, and that's it. You happy now? 3EA085E9.JPG

Dru: Now you see what happens when you fall into bed with somebody you don't know? Plot thickens--continue.

Olivia: Can you just answer the question? Do you have to be so snide?

Dru: Okay, okay, okay, you've misplaced your boyfriend. Finders keepers, losers weepers. What can I say?

Olivia: You think this is funny.

Dru: Liv, are you calling this man? Are you leaving him messages, and he's not returning your calls? Oh, my god.

Olivia: Stop. I don't appreciate you making fun of me.

Dru: Look, I'm just trying to sort out the facts here.

Olivia: Why can't you give me a straight answer? 3EA08604.JPG

Dru: You didn't give me a straight answer about wes. It was like pulling teeth. What is this really all about?

Olivia: Okay, what is wrong with you? Why do you have to be so nasty?

Raul: I know you're scared, britt. Believe me, so am I, but no matter what this test shows, we're gonna get through this together.

 Brittany: You really mean that?

 Raul: Sure, I do.

Brittany: Because a lot of guys would just--

Raul: Well, I'm nolilike other guys. You know me. I don't run from things when they get tough.

Brittany: You're so good to me, raul. I don't deserve you. 3EA0870C.JPG

 Raul: Oh, come on, babe.

Brittany: No, it's true. I mean, after what I've done and taking off without a word-- I mean, think about what I put you through. Yoyou have every right to be furious.

Raul: That's all in the past. You're back now. That's all that matters to me.

Brittany: I've never been so scared of a test.

Raul: Well, hiding from the truth isn't gonna change anything. Listen, sweetheart, ifif this test comes out positive, we're gonna get you to a doctor. We're gonna start making some plans, okay?

Brittany: Everything's just happening so fast. I mean, there's so much to think about.

Raul: We're gonna be fine. Brittany, couples have babies all the time. 3EA08741.JPG

Brittany: I never thought we'd be one of those couples.

Raul: I, uh, I've been doing a lot of thinking while you were gone, and, uh, you know, I-I was pretty freaked out about it, too, but then I realized, we can do this. We have so much going for us. We love each other, and we want to be together. I know we haven't really talk much about our future, we didn't need to, but now with a baby on the way, wewe'll take the next step. I mean, it'll just be a little sooner than we thought.

 Brittany: Wait, next step?

 Raul: We'll get married.

Nikki: I cannot believe that girl. She writes letters to her kids and to you, nothing to her husband? 3EA0878A.JPG

 Victor: Well--

Nikki: Didn't she even care what he would think?

Victor: Her explanation was that she didn't want to write to him because she was afraid that he would never forgive her.

Nikki: Oh, please, bring on the violins.

Victor: Yeah, but you know that things will never be the-- never be the same between the two.

Nikki: And whose fault is that?

Victor: Let's not lay blame, okay?

Nikki: Does this mean you're going to give up yiying to put that family back together?

Victor: Didn't you and i agree last night that the worst mistake I made was to get so involved? 3EA087AE.JPG

Nikki: I know. I know it breaks your heart.

Victor: What breaks my heart is my relationship with my son.

Nikki: Of course. Give it time.

Victor: I wish the answer were that simple.

Nikki: Victor, you can't lose hope.

Victor: He says I no longer have a son.

 Nikki: He doesn't mean that.

 Victor: I'm afraid he does.

Victor: After talking to him yesterday, I turned thihim and told him that one day he'd realize that family is all he has, but he made it very clear that he wants me out of his life.

Nikki: Oh, victor... I'm so sorry.

Victoria: So what are you gonna do? How are you gonna move on? 3EA087EF.JPG

Nick: One day at a time, I guess.

Victoria: You know, I-- I still don't know how you feel autut sharon.

 Nick: Join the club.

Victoria: Well, I think, you know, you should talk about it. You've got a lot to sort out.

Nick: What's to sort out? She's gone.

Victoria: It must have really hurt, not getting a letter yourself.

 Nick: Nothing surprises me anymore.

Victoria: You know, maybe you should just try to put it behind you and just look to the future.

Nick: How can I move on when I got the past hanging over me?

Victoria: I don't know, but I know it's best not to dwell on things. 3EA08819.JPG

Nick: You know, dad said something to me the other night that's really been eating at me.

 Victoria: What?

Nick: He said that he didn't drive sharon away, I did.

 Victoria: Nicholas--

Nick: Maybe he's right, you know? After what happened with diego, we could have worked things out, but back then, it was too soon, and now it's too late, and it's been too late since the night I walked by that window and saw my father kissing my wife. I wish I hadn't seen that, I really, really do, but I did, and I can't just forget that saw it or pretend it didn't happen. That's not the way I work. So what do I do? I gotta pick up the pieces and move on, try and forget about sharon. 3EA08850.JPG

 Victoria: Can you do that?

Nick: Hey, I'm a newman, right? I can do anything I put my mind to. 3

Dru: You're the one that came here with your unwanted advice, and I think that entitles me to be a tad bit sensitive.

Olivia: I'm your sister. I'm supposed to give you advice.

Dru: Yeah, well, it's old. It's getting really old, liv.

Olivia: Oh, really? You know where I think this attitude is coming from?

Dru: Oh, otother, I know you're gonna tell me.

Olivia: I know you broke up with wes, but I don't think you're ready to let him go.

Dru: I don't have to listen to all this. Give me--

Olivia: Oh, the truth hurts, doesn't it? 3EA0893C.JPG

 Dru: Leave.

 Olivia: Gladly. Wesley.

Brittany: You want us to get married?

Raul: Well, yeah, if you're pregnant.

Brittany: Raul, that's-- we never discussed that.

Raul: I know, but what is there to discuss?

Brittany: It's such a huge commitment.

Raul: Well, so is having a baby, brittany.

 Brittany: I realize that, but--

Raul: All right, why do you seem so surprised?

Brittany: I just can't believe that's what you really want.

Raul: Why, what did you think I'd want?

Brittany: But that's just it, raul, I didn't think about it at all. I haven't let myself think about it. I knew you would be supportive, and it means so much to me that you're by my side, raul, but the thought of me being brittany guittierez, mother of one, at my age? 3EA08978.JPG

Raul: I know it's a lot to deal with. It's not exactly the life I pictured for us a few months ago, brittany, but, listen, things have changed now.

Brittany: Let's just take this one step at a time. Can we do that?

Raul: Sure, but if you're pregnant--

 Brittany: Raul--

Raul: Hold on, please, let me just say this.

 Brittany: Okay.

Raul: If you are pregnant, I want us to do the right thing.

Brittany: I'm just not sure getting married is the right thing.

Raul: It is. It is, brittany. Baby, I know you've never been that close with your parents, but family is very important to me. I want this child to feel secure. I want it to feel like it's really a part of something. I don't know if you can understand that. 3EA089AB.JPG

 Brittany: I can.

Raul: Well, isn't that what you want, too?

Brittany: Yes, but we're so young.

Raul: My parents were young when they started a family.

Brittany: What are we gonna do for money?

 Raul: I'll get a full-time job.

 Brittany: What about school?

Raul: I'll take class at night. I mean, I'll finish a little later, but that's okay.

Brittany: You make this all sound so easy.

Raul: Brittany, I am not naive. I know this is gonna be tough, but we'll work through it, and we have each other to lean on.

Brittany: I just don't think I'm cut out to be a mother. 3EA089D4.JPG

Raul: Are you kidding me? You would be a great mom.

Brittany: Oh, yeah, right. I can barely keep track of my car keys, how am I gonna keep track of a baby?

 Raul: (Chuckles)

 Brittany: I just can't do this, raul. I can'T.

Raul: Oh, sweetie, listen to me. You are an amazing person. You're so strong and loving. You have such a great heart. Now maybe you can't see this in yourself, but dodo. You can do this. I have faith in you, brittany.

Brittany: My heart is racing a mile a minute.

Raul: I love you. You know that, right?

 Brittany: I love you, too.
