Matt: Is this the screaming you did last time? You don't recognize me? You should. I made sure I hid them for you the night I slipped them in the marguerita. It wasn't the booze that made you out of it. I have my private little stash. If you take these, you won't feel anything. It's kind of a waste, don't you think? I've waited too long for this, Sharon. It's payback time.

Victoria: You sure you're up for it?

Ryan: I'm fine.

Victoria: You okay? Is this --

Nikki: No, I'm not okay.

Victoria: Still no word from Dad?

Nikki: I called him a little while ago to ease Cassie's mind. He's -- he was still quite a distance from where the cabin is.

Victoria: He'll make it there in time, mother. He has to.

Mack: Getting ready to take off?

Billy: Yeah, I better. Your grandmother wanted me to make sure you got to bed before too long.

Mack: I kind of got a second wind, if you want to hang around for a while longer.

Billy: Something on your mind, Mack?

Mack: I'm thinking about how well you and Raul are getting along now.

Billy: Still, it's not like we solved all our problems.

Mack: You may soon-especially since I know how much you want to solve all your problems.

Billy: You know a lot about me, don't you, Mack?

Mack: I guess. All the time we've spent together, the talks we've had.

Billy: Yeah, we've had some great talks.

Mack: What about Brittany? Do you think she really loves you?

Billy: Well, yeah. We're close. Look, Mack, it's different with her.

Mack: Different how?

Billy: Why don't I let you get some sleep?

Mack: You didn't answer me. Why, Billy? (Doorbell sounding)

J.T.: Hey, Mack, I hope I'm not stopping by too late.

J.T.: I went to the hospital, Rianna told me you already left. I thought I'd stop by and see how you're doing.

Mack: I'm fine, J.T.. Just a little tired.

Billy: She's pretty wiped out. I was just leaving so she could get some sleep.

J.T.: Thanks for the tip, Abbott. I won't keep her up late.

Billy: Well, good night. Sweet dreams.

J.T.: Why do I have a feeling that I interrupted something?

Mack: So what's up?

J.T.: I was checking up on you. You feeling better?

Mack: Now that I know Raul will be okay. Now, he has a lot to handle.

J.T.: Yeah, tough break.

Mack: Something you wanted to say?

J.T.: Actually, something I wanted to ask you since the trip to Hawaii was cancelled. I know you invited me as a friend, which was fine with me.

Mack: Yes.

J.T.: I also figured while we were away, you might be open to exploring things a little.

Mack: What do you mean?

J.T.: Seeing if we, you know, could be more than friends.

Jack: Unfortunately, I have to go --

Phyllis: Why? The hotel room has --

Jack: If I stay, I won't get any rest at all.

Phyllis: That's true. (Knock on door)

Michael: Phyllis. I know you're in there. If you don't open up, I'll huff and I'll puff and do whatever -- come on.

Phyllis: What do you want, Michael?

Michael: I was passing by the hotel and thought you might want some company. But I see you already have some.

Sharon: Don't do this. No. No.

Matt: Sharon, listen to me! This is going to happen, all right? You just lay back and enjoy, okay? Huh?

Sharon: No, no.

Matt: You're coming with me.

Sharon: No! No!

Nikki: Good lord, what you've been through tonight.

Ryan: Victoria obviously told you everything.

Nikki: Does your head still hurt?

Ryan: A little. I just hope everything turns out okay.

Nikki: I hope the kids will be all right for the rest of the night. I'm going to go to the house and get something to eat. The night is going to just get longer.

Victoria: Go ahead. We'll look in on the kids.

Ryan: Look, I know you're ticked at me for having compassion for Tricia, but I --

Victoria: But what? You're going to say how guilty you are again? How deeply wounded Tricia was?

Ryan: Will you please let me finish?

Victoria: What, finish defending her? For God's sake, Ryan, wake up. The woman's involvement in this plot only proves how conniving and deceitful she is, much more than she is mentally unbalanced. Why you refuse to see that is --

Ryan: I know the extent of her willing involvement.

Victoria: Nobody was holding a gun to her head.

Ryan: You didn't see her this time! It seems incomprehensible she would be involved in this plot. Plus she was upset, Vicki.

Victoria: She's always upset. You think that excuses what she's done? I don't think so. Whatever remorse she may be feeling, too little, too late.

Matt: She blocked me in. Oh, damn. Damn. We got to get out of here. Turn off those headlights and back up slowly. Come on, Tricia! Let's go! Let's go!

Victor: Do you feel better now? H'mm?

Sharon: Victor, thank God you got here when you did.

Victor: I'm sorry, sweetheart. I'm so sorry. Where's Matt Clark now?

Sharon: He went out the back door.

Victor: You stay right here.

Sharon: No, no, don't go. Don't leave me here by myself.

Victor: Did he --

Sharon: I don't think so, no.

Victor: I won't let him hurt you again. I won't let him. You stay right there. I'll be right back.

Matt: You did good, Trish. You did real good. All right. What is it now, huh? What's wrong with you, Tricia? Johnson! Looks like you've got some filing to do. Filing? Yes. Did you say filing?

Jack: I didn't realize you made house calls, counselor? Your timing is perfect, I have to leave. I was just heading home, unfortunately.

Michael: Well, well, well, what a difference a week makes.

Phyllis: Ain't that the truth!

Michael: All right. Fill me in. You know I'm an interested party.

Phyllis: Ah, well, let's just say I took your advice for a change.

Michael: About focusing in on your love life. Good, good, good.

Phyllis: With amazing results.

Michael: Now we're getting to the good stuff. Tell me. Tell me.

Phyllis: No. A girl never kisses and tells.

Michael: Some girls maybe, but not you. Come on, Phyllis.

Phyllis: All right. Let's say love works in mysterious ways. What?

Michael: I stopped by here thinking you might need some perking up. I guess I can save my pep talks for another day.

Phyllis: I doubt I'll ever be upset again. Okay. All right. Listen, last we spoke we were talking about Fiji and I was persuading -- persuading you I didn't want to be a third wheel. Maybe I can persuade Jack into coming with us.

Michael: Phyllis, you want to spend a well-earned vacation with a person you despise most on the planet.

Phyllis: You are planning to go to Fiji with Christine.

Michael: You have some amazing attributes but leave the cross-examination to the pros.

Phyllis: You just said you were going to go with --

Michael: I said no such thing. After you pointed it out, how could I entertain such an idea. I was assured her husband would join her.

Phyllis: Thinking of meeting Paul in the tropics and dueling over the princess. You're not going to tell me anything, are you? (Cell phone ringing)

Mack: You want to be more than friends? J.T., I --

J.T.: Don't get the wrong idea. It's not like I expect you to do something you don't want to do.

Mack: Even though I made it clear. Look, J.T., I consider you as a friend but --

J.T.: That's all there will ever be between us.

Mack: I have never led you to believe otherwise.

J.T.: Yeah, I know. You see, I was just pulling your leg.

Mack: Really?

J.T.: Yeah. Come on, Mack, you and me together as a couple? It's weird enough that we're friends.

Mack: No kidding. I'm glad that we are.

J.T.: Yeah. (Mack yawning)

Mack: Sorry.

J.T.: That's okay. I'll get out of here to let you get your beauty sleep.

Mack: Thanks for coming all this way to check on me.

J.T.: No problem.

Nikki: Hi. What are you doing here?

Victoria: I'll go back down in a minute. Never mind. I don't want to talk about it.

Nikki: I don't know what's going on with you two but I can definitely sense the tension between you and Ryan.

Victoria: He's defending Tricia like she's a wounded bird.

Nikki: Which you obviously don't buy.

Victoria: No, I don't It's just as likely Tricia did the manipulating, that she dragged Carter into this scheme.

Nikki: My God, you don't know the latest.

Victoria: What?

Nikki: A lot has been discovered about Carter Mills. You're not going to believe it.

Matt: You know, you are one weird chick, you know that? What the hell were you doing at the cabin? Were you following me?! Hey, Tricia, I want an answer, you understand?! Just pull off to the side. Come on. Great. The cops are probably out in full force looking for us and we're sitting on the side of the road like sitting ducks. This can't be happening. This cannot be.

(Doorbell sounding)

Isabella: Mrs. Williams, it's good to see you again. You don't remember me. I'm Isabella Brania. We met in Paul's office a while back. Please, come in. So, I understand you were on a church trip to Italy.

Mary: Yes. I was just stopping by on my way home from the airport.

Isabella: My goodness, you just got in. You must be exhausted. Can I get you something to eat or drink?

Mary: No, thank you. I would like to see my son.

Isabella: That won't be possible. He's out on an important case for the Newmans.

Mary: I don't mean to be rude but what are you doing here in my son's apartment?

Cop: Get ready to copy a bolo. Caucasian, male, dark hair, dark eyes, considered dangerous. Victim's a little banged up, but we can take care of her.

Paul: Can I get you some water?

Sharon: No, I'm all right.

Paul: You sure? You've been through a very frightening ordeal.

Sharon: It was Matt Clark. And all this time I thought he was helping us.

Victor: His car is still out there.

Paul: Which means he's on foot.

Victor: You and I will go after him. He can stay with Sharon.

Cop: Not a good idea. He could be armed.

Victor: It doesn't make a difference.

Cop: There is a search team coming with helicopter and search dogs. In the meantime I have to ask you to stay inside.

Sharon: Victor, will you take me home now please?

Victor: Do you mind staying here?

Paul: No, of course.

Victor: Call me as soon as you find him.

Paul: I will.

Matt: Cops will get to us any moment.

Tricia: You asked why -- I meant it. But when I got to my car, I couldn't remember where you said to meet you.

Matt: Tricia, I told you twice where to meet me.

Tricia: So I came back to ask you. And I heard you talking to Sharon. Saying that I was involved in that thing with Larry Warton? Why did you do that, Carter?

Matt: Would you stop it and help me? We don't have much time.

Tricia: When I saw you with those pills, you were going to use them on her to rape her like you drugged and raped me?

Matt: I never raped you, all right?

Tricia: Stop it, Carter, you're lying. You're lying. You used those pills to drag me into your sick world.

Matt: You didn't seem to mind my sick little world that much.

Tricia: You manipulated me over and over.

Matt: You're in this as deep as I am.

Tricia: What are you talking about?

Matt: Let's see, you stole Ryan's laptop computer, helped me mess with the Newmans. You lied to Nick and Sharon so I could sneak in and see my friend Jordan. That was a little problem I was able to take care of once and for all.

Tricia: Carter, what are you saying? Are you telling me -- are you telling me that you killed Jordan? What is wrong with you?!

Matt: You want to talk about monsters, sweetheart? I said all those things to make you feel better. You knew exactly what you were doing. I never meant to off Jordan. You know what? Since you distracted Nick and Sharon, that makes you an accessory. Shut up, all right?! Now if I'm going to jail, you're going with me. See, sweetheart, you've got as much to lose as I do. We better get the hell out of here, all right?

Brittany: Billy, over here. Have you been at the hospital this whole time?

Billy: Is that a problem?

Brittany: No. I don't see why you have to spend every waking moment there since Raul is out of the woods.

Billy: Raul needs the support of his friends more than ever.

Brittany: Now that we know Raul is going to be okay, I can't help but think about our vacation. Spring break, we haven't done anything fun. I know what you're thinking. I'm a jerk for bringing it up.

Billy: No, no. I understand. You don't have the same connection to Raul the rest of us do. Look, Brittany, when this has all settled down, I think we really need to talk, I mean really talk.

Victoria: All my -- oh, my God, all this time? I can't imagine the twisted plans he has for her.

Nikki: Don't think that way. Oh, thank God. Sharon. Honey, did -- did that bastard--

Sharon: No. No, Nikki, it's okay. I'm okay. Victor got there just in time.

Nikki: Oh, thank God. Oh, thank God.

Matt: No sirens yet. That's one piece of good luck. Did you tell Victor I was here?

Tricia: No.

Matt: You're lying.

Tricia: I don't know how Victor knew you were here.

Matt: I had to do a lot of things, including my face.

Tricia: Your face?

(Sirens in the distance)

Matt: The cops. Get in the car. I said get in the car now!

Brittany: You think we should talk? About what?

Billy: You know, things.

Brittany: Can you be more specific?

Billy: I just think it's time that we got to know each other.

Brittany: I think we know each other pretty well, don't you?

Billy: Brittany, that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about connection, communication.

Brittany: Well, we communicate. Like right now, right?

Billy: Yeah, I guess.

Brittany: Okay then.

Billy: I'm exhausted. I think I'm going to head home. Do you need a ride?

Brittany: No, that's all right. I've got my car.

Billy: Good. Will I see you tomorrow morning?

Brittany: Yeah, sure.

Jack: Where did Baldwin go?

Phyllis: I locked him in a closet so we could be alone. He got a call from a client. He had to go.

Jack: Are you sure he didn't race off to the Newmans to tell you we're together again?

Phyllis: He doesn't deal with them.

Jack: You know what? Let's not talk about Newman and their band of followers. Not tonight. Not tonight.

Phyllis: Hey, you know, I don't want to get serious on you, but I just want to ask you something. This isn't -- this isn't just sex to you, is it? Because to me it's a lot more than that.

Jack: It's a lot more than that. It's a hell of a lot more than that. It's what makes the night so special.

Phyllis: Okay. Like we're on a whole new level.

Jack: Yeah, it is.

Phyllis: That wasn't really a good night kiss.

Jack: Perhaps, Miss Summers...

Isabella: Sorry, Mrs. Williams, I'm a client of Paul's. The reason I'm in your son's apartment is he allowed me to stay here.

Mary: Stay here?

Isabella: I can't tell you how much safer I feel under your son's protection. Not everyone would have been so kind. He's an extraordinary man.

Mary: Yes, he certainly is. When will Paul be back?

Isabella: I'm not sure. It could be late though.

Mary: I see.

Isabella: Are you sure you don't want any tea?

Mary: No, thank you. I'm very tired and I should be on my way.

Isabella: Very well. I'll be sure to let Paul know you're back. I'm sure you have a lot of catching up to do.

Mary: Oh, yes, Miss Brania. Indeed we do.

Brittany: You look like I feel.

J.T.: I've just seen Mack.

Brittany: That explains it.

J.T.: Can the wisecracks unless your boyfriend's confessed.

Brittany: What are you talking about?

J.T.: Abbott. He was there. He stuck around and made goo goo eyes at her.

Brittany: Is that why you're in this mood? Wait. This has to do with our last conversation. You got into it with Mack.

J.T.: For all the good it did.

Brittany: Meaning?

J.T.: Mack made it clear she and I are friends which as far as it's going. Go ahead, knock yourself out. Gloat.

Brittany: You're better off without her anyway. Although I can't help wondering.

J.T.: Wondering what?

Brittany: If maybe now you're thinking about spreading rumors.

Victoria: How's the patient?

Sharon: Patient's fine. I was just anxious to see my children. I don't want to wake them. I just want to be here with them.

Victoria: You know what? How about some company tonight? I could stay with you.

Sharon: Yeah. Yeah, I'd really appreciate that, Vicki.

Nikki: I'm so glad that you're home. I'm so happy.

Sharon: Thank you, Nikki. I have you to thank and Victor.

Victor: I'm glad you're home safe.

Sharon: I can't wait until tomorrow when Nicholas comes home.

Nikki: Sharon, why don't we head home.

Victor: Yeah, okay.

(Phone ringing)

Victor: Yes.

Paul: Victor, it's me. I'm afraid I have bad news. Police discovered footprints and tire tracks a dozen yards from the cabin. It appears he had another car here tonight.

Victor: Okay. Obviously you have to do everything in your power to find Matt Clark. Without him we have no case.

Nikki: What? What's happened?

Victor: Matt Clark escaped in another car.

Nikki: What?!

Victor: It couldn't be worse for our son. Because unless they find Matt Clark to get him to tell the truth, we won't see our boy for a long time.

Matt: Looks like we're in the clear. The cops have gone the other way. Hey, did you hear what I said? Never mind. Just drive.

Tricia: I was right.

Matt: Tricia, want to slow down a little bit?

Tricia: You know, Carter, we really are a lot alike. After every thing that's been done, after all the suffering we've caused.

Matt: Tricia, slow down a little. You're going too fast. Cool it. Tricia. Tricia! Stop the car! Tricia!
