Viki: It's Valentine's Day, Darling. It was just a year ago that you woke up for the last time and you spoke to me. I had such hopes for us then. But it wasn't meant to be. I am so grateful for what we had, you know. I'm so lucky to have loved you. But as great as my love is, that's how much it hurts, Ben. I miss you so much. It's so hard being without you, you know? I'm very, very lonely.

Viki: The last thing you said to me was that you would always be with me. And I know that you are. But, Ben, the joy that you gave me -- I don't feel it. And the music that you brought into my life -- I don't hear it anymore.

[Wind chimes ring]

Natalie: Is that for you from Antonio?

Jessica: No. No, actually, it's for you. The way things are between us, it's not going to happen.

Natalie: I'm sorry, Jess.

Jessica: Open it.

[Music plays]

Natalie: It's our song -- Cristian’s and mine.

Cristian's voice: I wanted her to be my wife.

John's voice: She was your wife.

Cristian's voice: We both know that was a lie.

John's voice: No, it wasn’t. The D.N.A. test results prove you really are Cristian Vega.

Cristian: Thanks for coming.

Antonio: I just came to watch them drag you off to Statesville.

Cristian: I understand. I needed to see you. I needed to give you this.

Antonio: How the hell did you get this?

John: Usual, please. What is all this stuff?

Evangeline: It's Valentine’s Day.

John: No, it's not. Valentine's Day is --

Evangeline: Yeah.

John: I'm sorry. I marked it down on the calendar, and then I just --

Evangeline: Don't worry about it, really. I don't expect anything.

John: You know what it is? Some of these special days are just not for me.

Evangeline: Duly noted.

John: But I'd like to go on record as saying that -- well, you deserve something special. Not just today, but every day.

Evangeline: Okay. Can I pick my present?

John: Absolutely.

Evangeline: I want to know about that look in your eyes.

John: What look?

Evangeline: Something happened. I don't know what, but I think it has to do with you and Cristian and Natalie. What is it?

Blair: Okay. Okay. Oh, I'm -- I'm so tired. I'm so tired. No, no, no, no. I got to stay awake. I got to stay awake. I got to hold on for -- got to hold on for Jack. I got to hold on for Starr, and I got to hold on for Todd. Come on, Blair.

Todd: Hold on, Blair. I promise I won't let you die.

Margaret: Oysters. Oh. I believe they bring out the best in a man.

Todd: I don't want your oysters and I sure as hell don't want you.

Margaret: Well, do you want Blair to die a cold, miserable death?

Todd: No. You win. I'll have sex with you. I'll give you a baby.

 [Music plays]

Natalie: I mean, this is exactly what the real Cristian would have gotten me. How would he know? How would he know what Cris would really do? Why does he keep torturing me?

Jessica: Natalie, let me just get rid of it, okay?

Natalie: No, wait. That song -- that played on New Year’s Eve. We made love to that. I thought it was Cristian. Oh, my God, that fake took away every good memory I have left.

Jessica: No, Natalie, those are yours. Nobody can take them away from you.

Natalie: Yeah, but someone did take them away from me.

Cristian: They gave that to me on the ship. They must have taken it off your brother when he died.

Antonio: Our mother gave this to him.

Cristian: I think Cristian would want you to have it. I'm sorry.

Antonio: You really don't have any idea who you are, do you?

Cristian: No. No, the only memories I have are what happened here in Llanview.

Antonio: Yeah, well, maybe someday you'll remember.

Cristian: Yeah. Well, whoever that guy was, his life is over. I killed a man. I can't take that back. At least my family, whoever they are, won't ever have to know that.

R.J.: My, my, my, don't you look beautiful.

Lindsay: This old thing? I only wear it when I don't care what I look like.

R.J.: Hmm. Yeah, well, if I didn't know you better, I'd think you were out looking for a little adventure?

Lindsay: I like adventure. I'm an adventurous girl.

R.J.: No, I'm talking about really putting it out there, opening up. Take a chance.

Lindsay: Are you daring me?

R.J.: I double dare you.

Lindsay: When somebody loves you it's no good unless he loves you all the way happy to be near you when you need someone to cheer you all the way taller than the tallest trees that's how it got to be deeper than the deep blue sea is that's how deep it goes if it's real when somebody needs you it's no good unless he needs you all the way through the good or lean years and all the in-between years come what may who knows where the road will lead us? [Applause]

John: There's nothing really to tell about Natalie and Cris.

Evangeline: I'm not going to get into this with you.

John: Good.

Evangeline: But the truth is you could tell me. You choose not to.

John: This is your idea of not getting into it with me?

Evangeline: Look, something happened. It's messing with your head, and I asked because I thought I could help.

John: I don't think you can.

Evangeline: Try me.

John: Look, Hon, if this was just about you and me, then --

Evangeline: Wait, wait, wait. Did you just call me "Hon"?

John: No.

Evangeline: You did.

John: No, I don't use words like that.

Evangeline: But you did.

John: Not.

Evangeline: And it's not like it's a bad thing. It's -- it's like we're on the edge of this, ready to jump, but for some reason, it's a leap you can't take. And I need to know why.

Margaret: I want to remember this night for the rest of my life. I want to be able to tell our baby all about the night he was conceived, and how mommy and daddy had a very, very nice meal, and how we listened to music and we held each other tight. Oh, and I'm going to tell him that he was conceived on the most romantic night of the entire year -- on Valentine's Day.

Blair: Help! Help! I can't die like this. Please -- please, I don't want to die.

Natalie: I shouldn't have come here.

Roxy: Hey, better than staying at home and waffling in self-pity because your dead husband is still dead. Hey, honey, life is for the living.

Roxy: Hey, baby, I got a great Valentine's gift for you. Watch this.

[Cheers]

Lindsay: Oh, thank you.

Jen: Wasn't she great?

Riley: All right, we need to settle up before the gig tonight.

R.J.: Don't you go anywhere.

Jen: What is happening between you and R.J.?

Lindsay: Nothing.

Cristian: Natalie didn't deserve any of this. No one did. But she opened her heart to me and -- and I took advantage of her. I wish I could take it all back.

Antonio: Yeah, well, it's a little late for that.

Cristian: The thing is, I need to know she's okay. Will you look after her? You never have to see me again. It's just I want to know she's okay. Help her -- help her forget me, you know, and remember the real Cristian, the one she loved. She needs to put him to rest.

Antonio: It's not going to be easy.

Cristian: Which is why she needs you. She trusts you, Antonio. She just needs to know it's okay to fall in love again -- you know, to get married, have a whole bunch of kids, just like she always wanted.

Antonio: How the hell do you know what she wanted?

Cristian: Well, you know, we talked a lot over the past few months. I know how Cristian must have felt to be loved by her.

Antonio: You really do care about her, don't you?

Cristian: Yes, I do.

Guard: Let's go. Statesville van at the loading dock.

Antonio: Good luck.

Cristian: You'll make sure Natalie’s all right?

Roxy: Oh! You feeling better? I know that I am.

Natalie: Thanks, Roxy.

John: I think I know what you were getting at earlier, and Natalie is not our problem.

Evangeline: But we do have a problem. So, tell me -- what's it going to take to break down the barrier in your heart? Because right now there are three people in this relationship, and that's one too many. Excuse me.

Jen: I don't understand.

Riley: It's our new address. I found an apartment for us. We can move in March 1.

Jen: I don't know what to say.

Riley: Is it okay?

Jen: Okay? Yes, it's wonderful!

R.J.: Well, Jamie’s baby-sitter can't stay late tonight, so --

Lindsay: Oh.

R.J.: I've got to go.

Lindsay: Okay.

R.J.: Care to accompany me?

Lindsay: Yes, I would.

R.J.: Let's go.

Margaret: So?

Todd: All right, we've got a deal. But I want to make sure Blair’s alive before I go through with this.

Margaret: Very well.

Margaret: Talk!

Todd: Blair?

Blair: Todd? Oh, God, Todd. Todd?

Margaret: Satisfied? Now, let's begin by taking this ring off.

Todd: No, no, no, no.

Margaret: No, this is our time, Todd. Ours. Oh.

[Margaret hums]

Margaret: Now, I'm going to go and slip into something very sexy.

Todd: I'm sorry, Blair. But I have to save your life, even if you never forgive me.

Blair: Todd.

Viki: I really don't know why I came all the way out here to talk to you tonight. You're not in there. You're in here. But I think it's time. I think it's time for me to stop living in the past and get on with my life. That's what you would want, isn't it?

Guard: You must have friends in high places. The warden sent those art supplies over.

Guard: But this ain't going to be no picnic. This is it, for the rest of your worthless life.

Cristian: I don't care. I'm free.

Guard: Free?

Cristian: I know who I am. And I did the right thing for my wife. I gave her hope and a future.

Roxy: Oh, that song was a downer, man. I'm going to go home and soak my feet. Ow. Ouch.

Antonio: Tough day?

Natalie: Did you see him? What did he say?

Antonio: He was sorry. Look, Natalie, I know things have been hard. If there's anything I can do for you --

Natalie: Look, you lost Cristian, too. The last thing you need is a reminder.

Antonio: No, I'm okay. All right? I'm here for you. I think I'm a lot more help than a bottle of booze.

Natalie: Just Valentine’s Day, you know.

Antonio: Yeah.

Natalie: Have you talked to Jess?

Antonio: Yeah, yeah. Actually, she said she might stop by.

Natalie: Good. She will.

John: That was beautiful. What you just did -- it broke through.

Evangeline: Really?

Michael: Valentine's Day. One year ago tonight, I kissed you for the first time, and you changed my life. I know it wasn't easy for you. You missed Al. You were afraid to open up to me. But you fought through it. You fought for me, you fought for us. Well, Sweetie, now it's time to fight for you and to fight to get well, to fight to have everything that you ever dreamed of.
