One Life to Live Transcript Tuesday 12/3/02
Previously on "One Life to Live" --
Troy: I'm going to lose Nora as soon as she finds out about Joanna.
Hank: How much longer do you think you can hide the fact that Keri’s going to have yours and Antonio’s baby?
Cristian: Things have changed. I have to tell you how I feel about Natalie.
Viki: You don't think she went to see Mitch Laurence by herself, do you?
Mitch: I have someone watching Cristian right now. For all you know, he's already dead.
***********************************************
Jen: Mom. What are you doing?
Lindsay: I was just on my way upstairs to see you.
Jen: You're not even close to the stairs.
Lindsay: I was making my way up there.
Jen: What, were you going to break in?
Lindsay: Ahem.
Jen: You were spying. You were spying on Nora and Troy. Why?
***********************************************
Liz: Ah!
[Liz laughs]
Hank: Whoa.
Liz: Oh.
Hank: Hey.
Liz: Hank, hi.
Hank: Hi.
Liz: I'm sorry. I was just going out the door.
Hank: Well, actually, I'm here to see Keri
Liz: You can’t.
Hank: Why not?
Liz: Because she's not here. Why did you want to see her?
Hank: She's my niece. Do I have to have a reason?
Liz: No. You know I'm counting on you to keep this whole thing a secret.
Hank: I assume you're talking about the baby?
Liz: Yeah. You got to know how much it'd hurt Keri if she ever found out about it. Hello.
R.J.: Well.
Hank: R.J.
R.J.: My goodness. Hushed tones? Hard stares? Conspiratorial whispers? Now, don't tell me we're talking about our little secret again.
***********************************************
Mollie: Prof. Reynolds, did you say to read the intro to Chapter Seven or the whole thing?
Keri: The entire chapter, Mollie. And, yes, there will be a quiz. By the way, do you know what happened to Jessica and Seth, why they weren't in class today?
Mollie: Sorry, not a clue.
Shawna: Hey, Mollie, you ready to go?
Mollie: Yep.
Shawna: Oh. Could you answer a question for me, Prof. Reynolds?
Keri: If I can.
Shawna: Are you going to be back to teach next term? I mean, with you being pregnant and everything?
Keri: Yeah. I'll be here next semester.
Shawna: Oh, won't that be kind of hard for you?
Keri: A lot of women work right up until their due dates. I don't anticipate any problems.
Shawna: Well, you never know. I mean, after all, this baby's, like, different, right?
Keri: Different?
Shawna: Oh, please, Prof. Reynolds. The word's out. I was talking to my mother about it last night, and she says carrying your own mother's baby is just way too sick.
Antonio: Shawna, I suggest you watch your mouth.
***********************************************
Viki: What do you mean, your marriage is not over? Natalie herself told me that it is.
Bo: And her word's a lot more reliable than yours is.
Mitch: Um, we'll see.
Viki: Yes, we'll see. She knows exactly who you are now, and she knows everything that you have done -- to her and to the rest of her family. She despises you. Why are you smirking?
Mitch: Oh. Didn't realize I was. Forgive me.
Viki: What else is there?
Mitch: Excuse me?
Viki: Obviously, you know something that we don't know.
Mitch: Possibly.
Viki: Why don't you tell us what it is?
Mitch: Gladly. But first you have to tell me something.
Viki: What?
Mitch: Where's my daughter? Where's my lovely Jessica?
Viki: You bastard.
***********************************************
Cristian: Thank God. Your mom called looking for you. I was so worried.
Natalie: I didn't know she had done that. I'm sorry. I should've called.
Cristian: I've been looking everywhere for you. Where have you been?
Natalie: With Michael.
Cristian: All this time? Did he hurt you?
Natalie: No. No, we -- we were just talking about everything.
Cristian: Okay, so, did you tell him you wanted out of the marriage? Finally. We can finally be together.
***********************************************
Liz: I'm sorry. I didn't see you standing there. So, is there something you want?
R.J.: Yeah. How about an answer to my question?
Liz: R.J., Hank and I were just talking.
R.J.: Hmm. About?
Liz: He came by to see if Keri --
Hank: None of your damn business, R.J. What is your problem?
R.J.: Forget it. Never mind. I'm sorry. Look, I just came here to see my daughter.
Liz: Well, Keri’s not here. She's in class.
R.J.: I could wait.
Liz: Well, I don't know how long she's going to be, but, fine.
R.J.: Fine.
Liz: Fine.
R.J.: Fine! Fine, you -- you two go ahead, continue talking about your little secret.
***********************************************
Shawna: You know, boyfriends aren't allowed to go running around campus yelling at the students, even if they are cops.
Antonio: Then why don't we call the head of security? He's a good friend of mine.
Shawna: Oh, you're certainly in a bad mood. Oh -- could it be you're not happy that your fiancee's carrying someone else's baby?
Antonio: Shawna, I'm warning you --
Keri: Antonio, that's enough.
Antonio: No, I'm not going to let this little --
Keri: This is my turf. I'll fight my own battles.
Shawna: Is something wrong?
Keri: Yes. For starters, you have no idea what you're talking about.
Shawna: Oh, I don't? Are you going to enlighten me?
Keri: You bet I am.
***********************************************
Lindsay: I don't know what to say, honey. You know, I -- I was passing by on my way upstairs to see you.
Jen: Well, I don't believe you.
Lindsay: Remember I told you I was coming to see you yesterday?
Jen: Uh-huh.
Lindsay: Ah-ah -- what happened with Cristian? Did he finally confess everything about going on --
Jen: I don't want to talk about Cristian. Come on, Mom, I'm worried about you. Why were you spying on Nora and Troy?
Lindsay: I wasn’t.
Jen: Then what were you doing?
Lindsay: Can we just not talk about that here?
Jen: Fine, we'll go talk about it someplace else. You're going to tell me why you were spying.
***********************************************
Nora: That was a yummy dessert. Oh, what a perfect day. Matthew had a great time, too.
Troy: Oh, thank you, because I had a great day.
Nora: You've got to be exhausted. You were up all night.
Troy: No, no. Listen, are you kidding me? When I am with you, I just feel happy and alive --
Nora: Oh, oh --
Troy: No, no, no, no --
Nora: See? I told you.
Troy: I'm serious, I'm serious. Every minute that I have with you is very important.
Matthew: Mommy?
Nora: Yes, Sweetie?
Matthew: Can I go down and see the fire truck?
Nora: Fire truck? Fire truck? Is there one downstairs on the street?
[Siren]
Matthew: Yeah.
Troy: You know what, Buddy? Actually, the best view is from up here. You want to go check it out on the fire escape?
Matthew: Cool.
Troy: Yeah?
Nora: Yeah.
Troy: Let's go.
Nora: Uh -- ahem -- stick with Dr. Troy.
[Knock on door]
Nora: I'll get that.
Emily: Nora.
Nora: Hello.
Emily: I -- I really didn't --
Nora: Think I was still here?
Emily: No, I -- I just thought that --
Nora: Come in, Emily. Come in, please. Matthew and Troy are out on the fire escape looking at the fire truck down in the street.
Emily: Well, I could come back later.
Nora: No, this is actually a perfect time. They're out there and we're in here, so now we can kind of get things out in the open.
Emily: Look; I'm sorry if I seem -- I just thought that -- I didn't want to interrupt you and Troy.
Nora: Hey. I know something's wrong, Emily.
Emily: No, no, nothing's wrong.
Nora: I'm not an idiot, okay? I walk into a room and you look like a deer caught in the headlights until you can get your feet underneath you fast enough to run away. So what's the deal?
***********************************************
Lindsay: Are you avoiding going to the loft?
Jen: What's wrong with coming to the gallery?
Lindsay: Nothing. It's just that I think you're avoiding talking about Cristian.
Jen: We can talk about that later. What I want to talk about is why you were spying on Nora and Troy. And don't tell me you weren’t. I saw you. I thought you'd moved on. That's what you'd said. Come on. Dr. MacIver and Nora -- they are together.
Lindsay: Yeah, they are. But not for long.
***********************************************
Hank: What is up with my brother? Do you know what's bugging him?
Liz: Oh, he's just always so angry.
Hank: Yeah, well, I'm used to that. But why is he so mad at you?
Liz: He just keeps making these ridiculous insinuations about you and -- and then that little crack about our little secret?
Hank: Well, look, if R.J.'s going to get suspicious every time he sees us talking --
Liz: Well, then maybe he ought to try getting a life.
Hank: Could R.J. know about you and Antonio? Do you think he knows that Antonio is the father of the baby?
Liz: No, Hank, this is not about the baby. Trust me, if he knew that, he would've blown this whole thing wide open a long time ago.
Hank: Well, then what is it?
Liz: He just -- he's still made at me for what happened all those years ago.
Hank: For keeping Keri a secret from him?
Liz: And he's just going to keep trying to punish me every chance he gets.
Hank: Yeah, well, that's R.J. He never forgives and he never forgets.
Liz: Well, you know what? That's too bad because right now I'm going to go give him an earful! And when I get done, he's not going to forget that, either!
***********************************************
Keri: Something you may not know about my mother, Shawna --
Shawna: Oh, you know what? Please, Prof. Reynolds. The less I know, the better. I mean, we're dealing with a real ick factor here. The idea of carrying somebody else's baby is just so unnatural, and I --
Keri: Why don't you just close your mouth for a second and listen?
Shawna: Excuse me?
Keri: You heard me.
Shawna: Well.
Keri: The love a mother has for a child and the love that that child has for its mother are two of the most natural things on this earth.
Shawna: So?
Keri: So, I'm doing is because my mom cannot survive a pregnancy. She has a heart condition.
Shawna: Well, then maybe your mother should'nt have gotten pregnant in the first place.
Keri: This baby is all my mom has left of the man that she loved. But he left a spark of life inside her, and I'm going toto keep it alive and help it grow until it can be born.
Shawna: Okay. Whatever.
Keri: My mother gave me everything when I was growing up, and this is my chance to give something back, something precious and something special. And frankly, I feel lucky to have that chance. And if you can't understand that, you obviously have no understanding of that kind of love and that kind of giving. And I feel sorry for you.
Mollie: I am sorry, Professor. I'll see you tomorrow.
***********************************************
Emily: Really, Nora, I know I've been acting a little weird lately because of the pressure of exams and all, but it's not you.
Troy: Hey, Matthew. Check it out -- your girlfriend's here.
Matthew: Hi, Emily.
Emily: Hi, there, Matthew. How's it going?
Matthew: Okay.
Emily: Yeah?
Troy: We were just out on the fire escape checking out a fire truck, but unfortunately it was only a leaky hydrant, so not real exciting even for big fire truck fans like ourselves.
Matthew: Yeah.
Troy: So how's it going?
Emily: Fine.
Troy: Yeah?
Emily: I'm fine.
Troy: Okay, good.
Nora: Hey. We got to get going, okay? We got to get you home and I have to immerse myself in some research for the Blake case, so -- and you need to get some rest.
Troy: Oh, do I, Doctor?
Nora: Oh, yes, you do.
Troy: You sure you got to go, huh?
Nora: Yes, I'm as sure as that as I am that you need your rest.
Matthew: Bye, Dr. Troy.
Nora: Hey, ready to rock 'n' roll?
Troy: Bye, Buddy.
Matthew: Bye, Emily.
Emily: Bye-bye, Sweetie.
Nora: Here you go.
Troy: Bye, Buddy.
Matthew: Bye.
Nora: Let's go.
Troy: Whew.
Emily: Troy, I'm sorry. I'm doing the best I can.
Troy: Look, I know I put you in the middle of these things by telling you about Joanna --
Emily: No, no, really, I'm glad that you did, but it's just so hard when I see Nora now.
Troy: Well, you're going to have to get past that, Emily. Now, look, I know -- I know that I upset you --
Emily: No, Troy, you didn't upset me. You're my brother. I love you.
Troy: I know. I'm your brother -- the same guy who's responsible for his own wife's death. God, Emily, what I did was so wrong, so despicable.
Emily: Troy, I'm having a hard time accepting that you pretended to be Colin when you made love to her. But I understand about the jealousy. I really do.
Troy: Emily, I had no idea that she was going to react that way.
Emily: I know you didn't, and I'm starting to understand it a lot better myself. And I guess you're right. I don't think Nora could ever understand.
Troy: No, Emily, she wouldn't understand. That's why you can keep acting this way, Emily. She's going to figure it out and she's -- she's going to figure it out before Lindsay even has to tell her.
***********************************************
Jen: Don't tell me you're trying to break those two up.
Lindsay: I didn't say that.
Jen: Think of all the other times you tried to do stuff like this. You always wound up in trouble. So why don't you just forget it?
Lindsay: I didn't do anything. Okay? Troy did all the damage on his own by not being upfront with Nora about his past. He's never had an honest day in his life.
Jen: So you found something out about whatever it is?
Lindsay: Oh, I found out everything. Remember that trip that I took to Miami?
Jen: Sure.
Lindsay: Well, I didn't actually go to Miami, I flew to Africa. I dropped by to visit that clinic that Troy used to work at.
Jen: You flew all the way to Africa?
Lindsay: That's right.
Jen: What'd you find out?
Lindsay: I found out everything. Troy has a wife that Nora didn't know anything about.
Jen: Really?
Lindsay: Or had a wife, I should say.
Jen: Okay, but, I mean, maybe he should've told her, but -- I mean, a marriage gone bad -- that really isn't such a big deal.
Lindsay: Oh, it went bad, all right. But the big deal is how she died. If Nora ever finds that out, she's never going to have a thing to do with him again.
Jen: Mom, you got back from Africa a long time ago.
Lindsay: Not that long ago.
Jen: But you've known about all this for quite a while.
Lindsay: Yeah.
Jen: Well, if -- if you wanted to destroy Dr. MacIver’s life so bad, why haven't you done it already?
***********************************************
Viki: Don't waste your time trying to contact Jessica.
Mitch: I know she's not at Llanfair, and she hasn't responded to any of my messages.
Viki: And she never will. You will never, ever, ever reach her. Do you understand?
Mitch: Please, don't snap at me, Viki. I'm not one of your servants; I'm your son-in-law and Jessica's father. I have a right to know where she is. Won't you please tell me?
Viki: Why? So you can wreck her life the way you wrecked Natalie’s?
Mitch: Is that what I've done?
Viki: You damage every single person you've ever come in contact with.
Mitch: I realize you've only recently remembered that you willingly handed baby Jessica over to me in the delivery room.
Bo: That's enough. Now, we're not here to talk about Jessica. We're here to talk about Natalie. Where is she?
Mitch: Well, I hate to argue with the exalted high commissioner, but actually this is about Natalie and Jessica. Have you gotten the results back on that D.N.A. test yet?
Viki: Yes.
Mitch: Then you know that I am definitely Jessica's father. And that means fathers have certain rights -- I think the policeman here will back me up on that -- and I intend to exercise mine.
Viki: You are not coming anywhere near Jessica because I am going to do whatever it takes to protect my daughters from you -- both of them, whatever it takes.
Bo: You don't have to worry, Viki, because Mr. Laurence here is going to do the right thing. He's going to leave town.
Mitch: Well, I don't think I will because my daughter and my wife both live here in Llanview and I -- I think I'll put down roots here myself.
Viki: I don't really care what the D.N.A. says. You will never be a father to Jessica, nor will you ever be a husband to Natalie.
Mitch: I won't? Who's going to stop me? You?
Bo: No. I will.
***********************************************
Natalie: I didn't mean to worry my mom like that. I just -- Michael and I, we talked for quite a while, I guess.
Cristian: I know it must've been hard for you.
Natalie: Yeah. It -- it was complicated.
Cristian: Yeah, it wasn't easy with Jen, either. She never lets me finish what I have to say.
Natalie: Why not?
Cristian: Well, it's almost like she knows what's coming but doesn't let me say it.
Natalie: So she doesn't know anything?
Cristian: Well, she knows that we're not getting married, and she knows that it's all tied up because of how I feel about you. But every time I get close enough to telling her, it's like -- well, she -- she says she feels sick, you know, because of the miscarriage and then she wants to talk about the baby we lost.
Natalie: This must be really hard on her.
Cristian: Yeah. Yeah, I'm sure it is. But I'm going to tell her. I mean, I have to. I can't drag this out, no way. It's not fair to her or to us. So by the end of the day, I'm going to come back here and I'm going to tell you it's finally done.
Natalie: Cristian, I get -- I get what's going on.
Cristian: Well, Natalie, I just want you to know that it's not going to take much longer -- just till the end of the day, okay? I mean, I'm sorry. I know it's not fair to you to keep waiting, but I don't want to hurt Jen any more than I have to.
Natalie: I know that.
Cristian: So can you trust me to have it all taken care of by the end of the day?
Natalie: Cris, it's not going to be that simple.
***********************************************
R.J.: Oh, man.
Liz: How dare you!
R.J.: Excuse me? How dare I what, Elizabeth? Speak the truth?
Liz: Oh, don't even start with that whole secret conspiracy garbage!
R.J.: Well, fine, fine. What should I believe, then, hmm? What you say, or what I see with my own eyes? Because there's obviously something between you and Henry that you don't want me or anyone else to know about.
Liz: This has nothing to do with Hank!
R.J.: Well, fine. Let me put it another way. What do you two know that no one else does? Come on, Elizabeth; put me out of my misery. Just tell me what's going on.
Liz: Oh, I'll tell you what's going on. You are still out to ruin everything, just like you did before!
***********************************************
Emily: I'm so sorry, Troy. I mean, I keep trying like crazy to stay away from Nora so she won't notice how nervous I am.
Troy: That's the point, Emily. You used to love hanging out with her. You used to be so friendly with her.
Emily: I know.
Troy: Now you keep avoiding her. What's she supposed to think?
Emily: Troy, you know I have never been good at keeping secrets, and I'm even worse at lying to someone's face.
Troy: Because I'm the one that's good at keeping secrets. Is that what you're saying?
Emily: No. That's not what I meant! This just keeps getting worse.
Troy: You know what, Emily, I -- I've been in surgery all night. I'm cranky. I'm sorry. I'm just -- I got to get some rest.
Emily: I know. There's just one thing that I need you to understand.
Troy: Yeah.
Emily: I am totally with you.
Troy: I know you are. Thank you.
Emily: And no one is ever going to find out about Joanna from me.
Troy: Believe me, you're not the problem.
Emily: You go ahead and get some sleep.
Troy: Yeah.
Emily: We'll talk.
Troy: All right.
Emily: And I'll find a way to deal with Nora. I promise.
Troy: Thank you. Thank you.
***********************************************
Jen: Come on, Mom, something must be going on. I mean, if you could wreck Dr. MacIver’s life ever since you got back from Africa, then why haven't you? What are you waiting for?
Lindsay: I think I'm having just a little bit too much fun.
Jen: Doing what?
Lindsay: Torturing him. Every day goes by, I tell him I'm going to tell Nora. And he doesn't know when. It drives him nuts.
Jen: So he knows that you found out?
Lindsay: I told him. That was step one. Step two is the play-by-play torture.
Jen: Okay, well, don't you think you should stop torturing him pretty soon? Because one day he might just haul off and tell Nora. Or he'll just twist things around to where you wind up sounding like the liar.
Lindsay: Oh, he's not going to be able do that.
Jen: Come on. I mean, I don't mean to be cruel, but let's face it, your word doesn't really hold much water in Llanview.
Lindsay: Maybe that's true, but I can prove that it happened. I'm just not sure I want to yet.
Jen: What, are you having an attack of conscience?
Lindsay: Oh, no, nothing like that. It's just I'm not sure I want Nora running back to your father now that he's available again.
Jen: No, that's not going to happen. I know I heard about Blair Manning running off to some asylum, but Daddy's not going to go back Nora, believe me.
Lindsay: We'll see.
Jen: No, you've got some other reason. Come on. Let's have it. Why haven't you wrecked Dr. MacIver’s life yet?
Lindsay: Oh, there's no reason. What reason would there be?
Jen: You tell me. There is one.
Lindsay: You know what? I'm supposed to meet a client of mine at The Palace in about 10 minutes, and I'm going to be late. Why don't you ride down with me in the elevator? Come on.
Jen: No. I don't want to go back to the loft.
Lindsay: You are avoiding going back there. I knew it.
Jen: Well, I don't want to talk to Cristian. He keeps trying to tell me how much he loves Natalie.
Lindsay: And you don't want to hear it.
Jen: Of course not. Once he tells me, everything's over. I won't be able to keep them apart.
Lindsay: Well, you can't keep hiding, Jen.
Jen: I just need to figure things out.
Lindsay: I don't think that's going to help. Frankly, I don't think there's anything that's going to be able to keep Cristian from Natalie now.
Jen: Don't say that! There has to be.
***********************************************
Cristian: I don't understand.
Natalie: Cristian, I thought that I could wait for you forever, but --
Cristian: But what? What's this "but" about, Natalie? Tell me. Is it Michael?
Natalie: Yes.
***********************************************
Jen: There has got to be a way.
Jen: There has got to be a way. I'm not going to let you do this, Cristian. I'll stop you and Natalie if it's the last thing I do.
***********************************************
Cristian: I knew that guy was a jerk. From the moment I saw him, I knew he was nothing but trouble for you.
Natalie: Cristian, don’t.
Cristian: So, what, he won't give you a divorce? Then maybe somebody ought to tell him that you don't need his permission.
Natalie: Cristian, wait.
Cristian: You know what, I'll tell him. And trust me, by the time I'm done, he's not going to feel like arguing.
Natalie: No, don't!
Mitch: If you leave me for Cristian, I will kill him.
Natalie: Cristian, I need you to listen to me, okay? You cannot go anywhere near Michael. You -- you have to do that for me, okay?
Cristian: Look, Natalie, I know you say this guy is all thoughtful and helpful and all, but this has got to tell you something. And the only reason he wanted to marry you was to see what he can get out of it.
Natalie: No.
Cristian: So he won't give you the divorce, right? Get an annulment. You could do that.
Natalie: No, Cristian --
Cristian: Natalie, you just married the guy. Okay? And you said yourself you didn't make love to him. There's no way a judge will say that you can't leave him.
Natalie: Cristian --
Cristian: You can get out of it in no time.
Natalie: Cristian, listen to me! What if I don't want to get out of the marriage?
***********************************************
Mitch: You have me at a disadvantage, Commissioner. How is it you're going to stop me?
Bo: You'll find out.
Mitch: Well, the statute of limitations on my alleged misdeeds ran out, and last time I checked, a father seeing his daughter wasn't a crime. In fact, the law encourages it. Family values and all that.
Viki: You're not coming anywhere near my Jessie.
Mitch: Our Jessie.
Bo: You familiar with the term "restraining order," Laurence? Because my testimony tends to carry a lot of weight when a judge is trying to decide whether to issue one or not.
Mitch: Oh, I'll get that overturned.
Bo: No, you won’t. No, you know what you'll do? You'll screw up. And that's when I'll take you down.
Mitch: I see.
Bo: You got a flaw. You don't know when to quit. So starting today, I'm going to be watching you.
Mitch: Hey, I feel safer already.
Bo: Yeah. You go to sleep; I'm going to know about that. You decide to eat; I'm going to know exactly how much. You take a walk, you take a drink of water, you chew a piece of gum; I'm going to know all about it because I'm going to be on you like a tattoo. And when you screw up, I'm going to know about that. And that's when you're going to end up in prison or dead. And this time I'm talking about real dead. And I'm patient. And I don't care how long it takes.
***********************************************
Lindsay: Oh, God, what am I doing? What am I doing?
***********************************************
Liz: This has nothing to do with some so-called secret that you think Hank and I are keeping from you!
R.J.: Come on, Elizabeth. I have caught you two looking caught too many times!
Liz: Oh, you just think you have!
R.J.: Okay, then why the sneaking around and the pretending that nothing's going on?
Liz: This is about Keri, and you know it! I kept her birth a secret from you, and now every day you wake up and you want to pay me back.
R.J.: Oh, come on. Now who's paranoid?
Liz: You can't get past it, can you? And every time that you see Keri and me together, it's like acid eating away at you.
R.J.: No, no. No, no, I am a realist. I pretty much take it as it comes, but I will not be lied to or pretend that that's okay!
Liz: Oh, and I'm the liar here?
R.J.: Yes, ma'am, you are -- lie after lie! When Keri was born, you never once said --
Liz: What about what you didn't say? Did you ever once say, "Hey, don't fall for me because I'm going to be in prison by the end of the year"?
R.J.: There is no way in hell that I --
Liz: That was a huge lie, R.J. -- a huge, damaging lie. You hurt me, and I cried myself to sleep for years over what you did. And you know what? I don't forget, either, and I still hate you for what you did to me.
R.J.: And I hate you, too!
Liz: Well, good, I'm glad!
***********************************************
Keri: What?
Antonio: Just looking at someone amazing.
Keri: Why, because I let Shawna have it?
Antonio: Well, that and because you're an incredible daughter. You know you're right. You definitely did not need me to fight your battle.
Keri: What I'm doing is -- is so real and so right. I -- I don't need any help fighting those battles if someone tells me it's wrong.
Antonio: I love you.
Nora: Uh -- ahem -- I'll just go outside and have a coughing fit for a second --
Antonio: Oh, no, Nora, please -- I -- really, I have to get back to the station.
Keri: Come on in, Nora.
Nora: Okay.
Antonio: I'll see you later?
Keri: Definitely.
Antonio: Okay. Take care.
Nora: Bye. I'm sorry. My timing is lousy.
Keri: Don't be silly. Oh, I have something.
Nora: For me?
Keri: For Matthew.
Nora: Aw.
Keri: Tell him Happy Hanukkah for me.
Nora: Oh, I will. That's so sweet of you. I'm sure he'll love it. Oh.
Keri: Nora?
Nora: Yeah.
Keri: Is everything okay?
Nora: Yep, fine. Good, really. It's fine. Where are you going? Good.
Keri: Okay, it's just you and me. What's going on?
Nora: I think Troy and Emily are keeping something from me.

Mitch: Very impressive. Totally irrelevant, but impressive nonetheless.
Viki: I don't think you'll find is so irrelevant when you're on your way to prison. Bo is well known for keeping his word.
Mitch: Fine. By all means, keep your eye on me, and don't forget that restraining order. We'll see how quickly that becomes irrelevant.
Bo: Hmm. We're done here, Viki. Let's go.
Mitch: Viki, there's something you don't seem to understand. I won't have to go to Natalie. She's going to come to me.

Cristian: We love each other, Natalie. And we're going to be together. But the only way to do that -- well, first I have to go tell Jen how I feel, and, well, you have to get out of this marriage that -- you know, this rebound marriage that you got tricked into.
Natalie: Cristian, this marriage is not a rebound.
Cristian: Sure it is. You even said it was.
Natalie: I know what I said, and I made a mistake. Okay? This marriage is not a rebound marriage. And the problem -- it isn't Michael.
Cristian: I don't understand.
Natalie: The problem is me. I've changed my mind.
Cristian: You changed your mind?
Natalie: I -- I don't want to be with you. I'm going to stay with Michael.

On the next "One Life to Live" --
Troy: What is going on, Lindsay?
Liz: Maybe it's time that we both just put all our cards on the table.
Mitch: I'm here to talk to you about your sisters.
Rex: What about them?
Cristian: You're not making any sense at all!
Natalie: Just leave me, okay?
