Natalie: This marriage is over!

Todd: And I count my blessings every day.
Blair: Nothing's changed. And I guess since I have to hide here until we're safe from the shooter, it's nice to have the comforts of home.
Todd: All right, well, if you're looking for, like, little candies or bottles of shampoo or stuff, there's none of that stuff here.
Blair: Thank you for moving out of your bedroom for me.
Todd: I'm not moving anywhere.

[Roxy screams]
Roxy: I won!
Asa: How about that, Roxanne!
Roxy: Oh, this is great! I never knew you could be so much fun, Asa.

Asa: Well, maybe I'm going to start throwing these parties again.
Roxy: Well, you just tell me what time, and I'll be here.
Asa: It's okay with you that all of this, you know, isn't exactly on the up and up.
Roxy: As long as I'm winning, you are my lucky charm.
Asa: Hmm.

Asa: I guess I am.

Dealer: May I help you with your winnings?

Max: Look; I don't care where she's eating, as long as it's not with me. Just get Roxy to leave me. That's the deal.
Asa: And you just keep Gretel away from me, or all bets are off.
Max: A scotch on the rocks, please.
Bartender: All right.
Max: Hello, Rae.
Rae: Max.
Max: You look very lovely this evening.
Rae: Why are you suddenly being so nice to me?

Cristian: There's not going to be an emergency in the next few minutes, Jen.
Jen: How do you know that?
Cristian: Jen, you got to listen to me. Okay? I can't marry you because I -- whoa.

Natalie: Yeah, well, who wouldn't give me a divorce, huh? I mean, we just got married. We're -- we haven't even --
Mitch: We haven't even been together, have we, as man and wife?

Natalie: No, apparently I don't, Michael. Why don't you explain it to me?
Mitch: I'm not Michael.

Viki: I have to keep Jessica far away from Mitch Laurence. He's her father. Now do you understand? Do you understand why Jessica has to go and why you can't tell her?
Blair: I'm not staying in this room with you, Todd.
Todd: You don't have a choice.
Blair: What do you mean, I don't have a choice? You have six rooms in this penthouse!
Todd: Yeah, but this is the safest room in the penthouse. Look, I got the windows shut, the -- well, the shades are drawn, and look, I'm the only one who ever comes in here. And if somebody ever does come in here and sees you, you can, you know, just hop in the closet there because it's got a false back and you can hide until they won't find you.
Blair: Okay. Okay, okay, I will stay here. And you can stay in the guest bedroom.
Todd: All right, yeah, that's a great idea.
Blair: And what's wrong with that idea, Todd, huh?
Todd: Come on, Blair. You know people -- nobody would be suspicious of me staying in a guest room of my own house, especially when nobody's supposed to be staying here in my bedroom.
Blair: Okay. Fine. Then I will stay in the guest bedroom.
Todd: No -- come on. I mean, then the maid will come and, you know, see that the bed has been slept in and tell everybody all about it. Well, come on, that's what they do.
Blair: Yeah, right. And since when do you have a maid, Todd?
Todd: Well, there's Hedy, and -- anybody. Look, you're just going to have to trust me. This is really --
Blair: You want me to trust you?
Todd: Yeah.
Blair: Oh, please. This is never going to work!
Todd: Why not?
Blair: Because it's not. And I'm going to call Sam right now and tell him he has to find me a new place to live.
Todd: Well, I thought you wanted to be close to the kids.
Blair: It was a stupid idea. I mean, how could he think that you and I could share a bedroom?
Starr: You and Dad are sharing a bedroom? You're back together!

Jen: Cristian -- I'm so glad you're here. What happened?
Cristian: You passed out.
Jen: Oh. I guess I'm weaker than I thought.
Cristian: You're okay now.
Jen: I think I just need to take it easy. Not get too stressed out.
Cristian: Well, Dr. Conklin said that your body already started healing, that stress is not going to hurt you.
Jen: What about how I feel? I just lost a baby.
Cristian: Well, Jen, I lost a baby, too. I'm hurting, too.
Jen: I know. It's just really sad for both of us.
Cristian: Yeah, but, you know, Dr. Conklin said that the reason you had the miscarriage -- well, it was ending something that wasn't really meant to be.
[Knock on door]
Jen: Don't you want to get that?
Cristian: No, no, please, just forget it.
Jen: It might be important.
Carlotta: Jen -- oh, I'm glad to see you're feeling better.
Jen: What?
Carlotta: I didn't expect you to be the one to answer the door.
Jen: Oh, I'm just trying to keep busy, you know? If I'm not, I just get really upset about what happened.
Cristian: Hey, Mom, Keri. It's really nice of you to come by, but this is really not a good time.
Keri: We just came by to drop off some flowers.
Carlotta: And some flan.
Keri: But we know this is probably -- you guys need some time alone. We just --
Jen: No. No, no, no, stay. Take your coats off.
Keri: Oh, that's -- that's all right.
Carlotta: Well, if you want us to, we can stay for a little while. Mijo, do you have a vase -- you could put these flowers in water?
Cristian: No, no, I don't think so, Mom.
Carlotta: Then can you go down to Break Bar and borrow one?
Cristian: Sure.
Antonio: Hey.

Antonio: Hey, look, Keri left me a message that Mami wanted the two of us to come over here.
Cristian: Yeah -- yeah, I know. They're inside right now.
Antonio: Oh, man, I'm sorry. I was hoping I could head them off. I know you -- you wanted to talk to Jen alone.
Cristian: Well, I still do. And as soon as they're gone, I'm going to tell her everything.
Antonio: Okay, well, the sooner the better.
Cristian: Yeah.
Antonio: Get it over with.
Cristian: Yeah, I got to tell her. And as soon as I tell her, then I can finally be with Natalie.
Carlotta: And you'll be making the biggest mistake of your life.

Seth: Your mother doesn't want me to tell you where I'm taking you until we get there.
Jessica: What?
Seth: She won't even let me tell her.
Jessica: Why?
Seth: Because the more people who know, the better the chance someone will find out.
Jessica: You mean Mitch Laurence will find out.
Viki: Yes. Unfortunately, yes.
Jessica: I don't understand. Why would he follow me?
Viki: Sweetheart, I need to keep the whole family safe, okay? Now, are you ready to go?
Jessica: Um -- I -- no, I forgot something. I'll be right back.
Viki: Thank you for not telling Jessie about Mitch.
Seth: I can't believe he's Jessica's father. How is that possible? Are you sure?
Viki: No, I'm not completely sure. I'm having tests done.
Seth: But you're pretty sure it'll turn out to be true?
Viki: Yeah, I'm afraid so. I sincerely appreciate you not asking how this came about. I'm not quite prepared to explain it yet.
Seth: Wow. After everything Jessica's been through -- thinking that you weren't her mother, and then thinking that she was Roxy’s daughter and finding out that she was yours -- she can't take knowing that this guy is --
Viki: No, exactly. I don't think that she's ready to deal with finding out that Mitch could be her father.
Seth: We've talked about him and what he did. It's pretty awful.
Viki: It's worse than awful. That's why you have to take Jessica away from here, because I'm afraid that he's going to try and take her away from me again.
Seth: Well, what about Natalie? This means that she's his daughter, too, right?
Viki: No, she's not.
Seth: What?
Viki: She's not. She's Clint’s daughter -- my ex-husband. She's Clint’s daughter.
Seth: I'm sorry. I just -- I don't understand.
Viki: Oh, please. I don't quite get it, either.
Seth: Then Jessica -- I mean, Natalie isn't in any kind of trouble the way Jessica is, right?
Viki: No, the danger that Natalie is in could be much, much worse.

Natalie: What do you mean, you're not Michael?
Mitch: I wasn't christened Michael, and my last name wasn't Lazarus.
Natalie: It wasn't?
Mitch: But, like Lazarus in the bible, I rose from the dead.
Natalie: Okay, wait a minute. So, on our marriage certificate, the name is "Michael Lazarus." So if that's not your name, then our marriage isn't legal.
Mitch: Oh, it's legal, all right. I made sure of that. I had it legally changed.
Natalie: You did?
Natalie: So you wanted to marry me before you told me who you were? Before you even met me? I want to go.
Mitch: And you're free to. Because I know you'll be back.
Natalie: Good-bye.
Mitch: Don't you even want to know who I am?
Natalie: Who are you?
Mitch: Your mother knows me. Ask her who I am. Ask her to tell you all about me.

Viki: All right? Don't let anyone -- anyone know where you are. Don't go to your brother's and don't go to Daddy. Don't even call your father, okay?

Viki: And when you call me here, I want you to call only on this number. And I want you to use only your cell phone, okay?
Jessica: Okay.
Viki: Because that way no one will know where you are.

Viki: You're a very smart girl, Darling. I know you'll be all right.

Asa: Very few people knew about my gambling room, even when it was up and running full-time.
Roxy: Well, if you got this place running full-time, I'd like to help.

Roxy: Well, you know, the place needs a little class. I mean, it's the only thing you don't got, you know -- no offense.
Asa: Well, don't you forget, when you're coming up here, it's got to be on the Q.T.

Asa: I got you. I don't want my luck ruined again, like it was when Bo got wind of my floating casino.
Roxy: I can't believe you got busted by your own son.
Asa: Yep, more than once.

Max: You know, I promised Asa that I would make Gretel want to leave him. I didn't -- well, she doesn't necessarily have to leave him for me.

Bo: You know, I know Rae made a hell of a mistake. But I've always liked her. I always thought she was really -- she's a decent person.
Gabrielle: Yes. I think so, too.
Bo: I haven't been able to figure out that deal with her getting married to Pa yet, though, I --
Gabrielle: I don't think anyone can.
Bo: Yeah. Well, I still like my last stepmother better.
Gabrielle: You know, that was the old Gabrielle, too. The one who married Asa.
Bo: I know. Oh, she was a busy, little lady, wasn't she?

Bo: I know. I just hope that the new Gabrielle doesn't end up getting bored or, you know, start having regrets or -- you know?

Cristian: Good, because I'm going to tell Jen everything -- now.
Carlotta: And do you think that she can handle another blow right now, after losing the baby?
Cristian: Look, Mami, I was worried about that, too. But she is a lot stronger than you think.
Carlotta: You really think so?

Antonio: Well, when she finishes, we -- we should probably go.
Keri: Yeah, I wanted to go, but she insisted that I stay.
Antonio: Well, obviously. You haven't even taken off your coat.
Keri: I'm just starting to show, Antonio. I didn't want to throw that in her face.
Antonio: No, of course.
Keri: Here I am, happy and healthy with a baby on the way. I just didn't want to make her feel worse.
Antonio: You're incredible.
Keri: No, I'm not.
Antonio: Yes, you are. You're always thinking about everyone else.
Carlotta: Hi.
Antonio: Mami.
Jen: Well, I'm feeling better.
Keri: Jen, we were just going to leave, but if you need anything, give us a call, okay?
Cristian: Antonio, can you and Keri take Mami home?
Antonio: Yeah -- yeah.
Keri: Sure. Carlotta, we can give you a ride.
Jen: You don't all have to go right now, do you? Stay a little bit. We didn't even get a chance to talk.
Carlotta: Oh, Honey, we will. You and Cristian just need some time to be alone together. Take care of yourself, okay?
Jen: I will. And I have Cristian looking after me.

Cristian: What is it, Jen? What's wrong?
Jen: That was so horrible.
Cristian: What was?
Jen: Seeing Keri.
Cristian: Why?
Jen: She's starting to show. She was trying to be nice and hide it, but while you were outside, she opened her coat a little bit and I could see it.
Cristian: Jen, look --
Jen: I just can't take it. I can't take any more pain!

Viki: Why did you ask me that? What did Michael tell you?
Natalie: Okay, well, a lot's happened since I talked to you last. I guess I should start from the beginning.
Viki: Yes.
Natalie: First of all, Jen and Cristian did not get married.
Viki: What? I was there. The ceremony was under way. What happened?
Natalie: Jen lost her baby.
Viki: Oh, no.
Natalie: Yeah. And it's really hard for them. And I know Cristian -- he's really sad about it.
Viki: Oh.
Natalie: But Cristian told me that he wants to be with me now. And you know that I want that, too.
Viki: Darling, you're married.
Natalie: I know. And I went to speak with Michael, and I told him I wanted an annulment. And then all of a sudden, he just started acting really weird. I mean, it was more than weird. He was mean, and that's not like him.
Viki: What did he do?
Natalie: Well, I mean, he didn't really do anything -- not really. It was just what he said. He said that he wasn't Michael Lazarus. And then I asked him what that meant -- who was he -- and he said that I needed to ask you. He made it like you knew who he was.
Viki: Yes, I do.
Viki: I knew your "Michael" long before you brought him here as your husband. I knew him a long time ago.
Natalie: But when I told him all about you, he acted like it was news to him. I mean, he even saw pictures of you, and he acted like he'd never met you.
Viki: I don't doubt it.
Natalie: He was lying to me.
Viki: Yeah.
Natalie: He's been lying to me about a lot of things.
Viki: Yes, he has.
Natalie: He was so kind. He was my friend. I mean, he helped me deal with my feelings for Cristian.
Viki: Oh, Baby, that's what he wanted you to think.
Natalie: But he talked about God, and he said he was this minister.
Viki: No, no, no! No, that man has nothing to do with God. He is not a man of God. Honey, he waited for the right moment to go after you, when you were the most vulnerable. But it's okay; I am not going to let him hurt you. I got Jessica out of here, and I will send you away, too.
Natalie: Okay, you're really scaring me now. I mean, you're making Michael sound like he's some kind of monster.
Viki: He is. Natalie, he is a monster. Michael Lazarus is Mitch Laurence.

Asa: You have no idea what you're doing.
Bo: Oh, I think I do. I know that you and Roxanne are going to be spending the night in jail.
Roxy: I'm going to jail?

Jen: I know that.
Cristian: I'm sorry that it happened.
Jen: Yeah, me, too.
Cristian: Jen, we really need to talk.
Jen: I know, and now it's just too late because I'm so tired.
Cristian: Well, wait a minute. Just listen to me for a minute.
Jen: Can't it wait till tomorrow? I just want to forget about everything and go to bed. Please, let's just talk about it in the morning, okay? I promise, I'll listen to anything you have to say then.
Cristian: Okay. Sure. Then I'll go wash up.

Marcie: Hello?
Jen: Hi, Marcie, it's me.
Marcie: Jen! I'm so glad to hear your voice. I've been trying to call you forever.
Jen: I know.
Marcie: Well, are you okay?
Jen: For now. I managed to get through the night without letting Cristian tell me about him and Natalie.
Marcie: Well, that's good.
Jen: But I have to do something drastic in the morning.
Marcie: We, like what?
Jen: That's where you come in.

Seth: That's it, Jess. You can't answer that phone anymore.
Jessica: No, you know what? Part of me wishes that he did call, so I could talk to him, so I could tell him what I think of what he did to my family.
Seth: But you know you can't, okay? It's not safe.
Jessica: I know. I know that.
Seth: Your mom was right. This guy really is trying to find you.
Jessica: But why? Why? Out of all of the people in my family, why is he coming after me?

Viki: No, not quite. He just faked his death.
