One Life to Live Transcript Friday 9/27/02
Liz: I gotta tell Keri the baby's father is a total stranger.
Keri: He said he almost wished this baby was his.
Seth: The dress, the weird mood you're in, it -- it's about Cristian, isn't it?
Lindsay: Joanna's dead? What did he do? You kids enjoy your happiness now because I'm about to take it all away.
***********************************************
Blair: Sam. What are you doing here?
Sam: I told you I'd come back.
Blair: Well, it's not really a good time.
Sam: No, I'm not leaving -- not until I convince you that you are good enough for me.
Blair: Well, you're wasting your time, Sam, because you and I are never going to happen.
Sam: Never say never.
***********************************************
Carlotta: Cristian? The party's about to begin. What are you doing in here all by yourself?
Cristian: Nothing, just --
Carlotta: How's Jen? Have you decided what you're going to do?
Cristian: Jen's having my baby, so we're going to get married.
Carlotta: You are your father's son.
Cristian: Try to be.
Carlotta: And this -- these feelings for Natalie, this crush -- is that over?
***********************************************
Rex: This is too good.
Jessica: Hey. Morning. Want a ride to school?
Rex: Sure. What about Natalie?
Jessica: What about her?
Rex: Well, she's got an early class. Should we ask her?
Jessica: Is she even up?
Rex: Don't know. Why don't you check?
***********************************************
Keri: It's so funny how you and my mom keep missing each other.
Antonio: Yeah, I even -- I even stopped by here last night, but she must have gone out or didn't hear me knock.
Keri: Well, she's probably sleeping. She said she was tired and she sleeps like a log.
Antonio: Yeah, it must run in the family.
Keri: Well, she's probably here now getting ready for the big night. Mom?
Antonio: Excuse me, but where's Mrs. Reynolds?
Maid: Well, if that's the lady who was in here, she checked out.
***********************************************
Renee: Oh, I'm so sorry. There's a special party in here this morning. Breakfast is being served in the other --
Liz: No, no, I don't want breakfast. I'm just trying to check out and your computers are down.
Renee: Oh, I'm so sorry.
Liz: Are you ms. Divine?
Renee: Yes.
Liz: Well, they said out front maybe you could help me. I need to get out of here right away.
Renee: Absolutely.
Liz: Thanks.
Renee: Credit card is all I need.
Nora: Oh! Liz Reynolds. You're here. Oh, how are you? Oh, God.
***********************************************
Nurse: Dr. MacIver, there's a patient waiting in room 112.
Troy: Ok. You got the chart?
Nurse: No, it's her first visit. Would you like me to get the history?
Troy: No, I'll take care of it. Thanks, Beth.
Lindsay: It's not my history I'm here about. It's yours.
Troy: If you need to see a doctor, Lindsay, one of my associates would be happy to treat you. Who knows -- maybe even a psychiatrist.
Lindsay: Do you think even that will get rid of the scars that I've been left with from being in prison? Do you have any idea what it was like to be locked up, being the only normal person locked up with a bunch of lunatics and felons?
Troy: I don't have time for this, Lindsay.
Lindsay: It was you and Nora that put me there. But justice won out.
Troy: Yeah.
Lindsay: I have a second chance now.
Troy: Do you know what? You wasted my time last night; you're not going to waste my time again today.
Lindsay: I have a heart problem.
Troy: Since when?
Lindsay: Since you broke it pretending like you were in love with me.
Troy: I am not in the mood for your games, Lindsay.
Lindsay: I told you and Nora that I was willing to let it go.
Troy: Yeah, you did, Lindsay, but that's ok because I didn't believe you then and I don't believe you now.
Lindsay: Well, it's kind of hard, you know, when you've had your life ruined.
Troy: I didn't ruin your life, Lindsay. You committed those crimes. You put yourself in prison.
Lindsay: You didn't give me any choice.
Troy: You know what? I'm not going to argue with you here, Lindsay. This clinic is for people who can't afford medical care. You? You have no business being here. You can afford any doctor you want.
Lindsay: Well, that's not exactly true anymore, either. I'm nearly broke, another fringe benefit of being in prison.
Troy: Fine. All the doctors here on staff are excellent. I'll have someone come in and take a look at you.
Lindsay: Africa, Troy. Why did you leave Africa and move to Llanview?
***********************************************
Nora: Oh, I'm -- I'm so sorry about Steve’s death.
Liz: Thanks, Nora.
Nora: I mean, I didn't know him very well, but I know that you and Keri made him very happy.
Liz: Well, he changed our lives. You know, he's still doing it. His death brought Keri and me close again.
Nora: Oh, well, I'm happy to hear about that, at least. Keri's an angel, just like her mom.
Liz: Wow. I'm no angel.
Nora: Well --
Liz: Yeah. I wasn't sure Keri would ever forgive me for keeping the secret about R.J. being her dad from her all these years.
Nora: Well, you did what you had to do at the time, you know. R.J. was a different person back then. I know.
Liz: I had no choice.
Nora: Hey, I'm not casting any judgment on you. I'm really not.
Liz: No?
Nora: No, I'm not. You've done a terrific job of raising Keri on your own. The problem with me is that bad things happen to me when they begin with a lie. It just -- so I've kind of, like, gone to the truth now and -- well, at least it's easier to remember.
Liz: You gotta be careful because sometimes the truth can be very destructive.
Nora: Right. Well, you know what? Let's agree to be careful, then, in the future for old times' sake?
Liz: Truce?
Nora: For old times' sake.
Liz: Ok.
Nora: So, what do you think of Antonio? Hmm?
Liz: I don't know. I haven't met him yet.
Nora: You've got to be kidding me. You haven't met him yet?
Liz: No, not yet. So, is he really as great as what Keri says?
Nora: Better.
Liz: Really?
Nora: Really.
Liz: So then I can trust this man not to hurt my daughter?
Nora: Ok, Liz, for some reason, you're suspicious of Antonio. Why?
Antonio: Are you certain that Mrs. Reynolds checked out?
Maid: Yes, Sir. I'm getting the room ready for the next guest.
Keri: I don't understand. Why wouldn't she stay for our engagement party?
Antonio: Well, I mean, maybe an emergency back in Chicago?
Keri: No. She would have -- she would have told me. Besides, she was looking forward to meeting you.
Antonio: Likewise.
Keri: Although --
Antonio: What?
Keri: Well, she was really emotional before. I think she's afraid she's putting a burden on our relationship.
Antonio: Oh, well, then, we're just going to have to find her and let her know that I'm ok with this.
Keri: I don't understand. I -- she wouldn't just disappear on me unless something happened --
Antonio: Honey, let's not jump to conclusions, ok? Hi. Yes, may I speak with Renee Divine?
[Phone rings]
Renee: Renee Divine.
Antonio: Hi, Renee. It's Antonio, Antonio Vega. I have -- I have an unorthodox request to ask of you.
Renee: Official business?
Antonio: Actually, it's personal. Look, I'm upstairs with Keri and we were supposed to meet her mother, Elizabeth Reynolds, in the room before the party, but the maid just told us that she's checked out, and we were just kind of wondering if there was some kind of mix-up.
Renee: Well, normally, I wouldn't give out this kind of information.
Antonio: Understood.
Renee: I am looking at her right now. She's checking out.
Antonio: She's downstairs.
Keri: Oh, thank goodness.
Antonio: Yeah. Renee, will you ask her to wait there? Keri and I are on our way down.
Renee: My pleasure. I didn't know that you were Keri’s mother.
Liz: Yeah.
Nora: I'm sorry. Liz Reynolds, Renee divine.
Renee: Keri is lovely.
Liz: Thank you.
Renee: She and Antonio are on their way down. They asked you to wait.
Liz: I have to get out of here.
Nora: What? Why?
Liz: I just do, Nora.
Nora: But, wait a minute. Wait a minute, wait a minute. First you're suspicious about Antonio. Now you're desperate to leave. What's going on?
Liz: It's just -- it's so awful, I just -- I've got to talk to somebody about it.
***********************************************
Rex: Something wrong?
Jessica: I can't deal with Natalie right now.
Rex: You guys on the outs?
Jessica: Not that it's anything new. And facing Natalie on top of what's going on with Seth --
Rex: Ok, well, just yell, "I'm leaving. Do you want a ride?" And then get out of there.
Jessica: I need to call Seth, straighten everything out, you know?
Rex: I feel lousy you were fighting about me.
Jessica: It's weird. I mean, it's almost like he's jealous of you.
Rex: I'm really not such a bad guy.
Jessica: Of course you're not a bad guy. Too bad Seth feels otherwise.
Rex: Bums me out. I mean, you've been so good to me. I don't want to cause trouble between you guys.
Jessica: Rex, it's not your fault. It's Seth with his crazy idea that he has to go to Michigan to check you out.
Rex: That is a major dead end.
Jessica: Yeah, I know, and I hope he figures that out. I told him if he goes to Michigan, don't look for me when he gets back.
Rex: Oh, man, Jess, you shouldn't have done that.
Jessica: I know, but I don't think he's going to go. I need to call him.
Rex: Jess, what about Natalie?
***********************************************
Seth: Natalie? Wake up.
Natalie: Whoa. What happened?
Seth: Cristian is what happened, remember? You crashed. And I must have crashed, too.
Natalie: I was a mess last night. Thank you for staying.
Seth: No problem. But I have to go. Are you ok now?
Natalie: No. But I won't fall apart on you again. Jen and Cristian are getting married, and there's not much I can do about it.
Seth: Hey, you're going to find someone better. Sorry -- a stupid thing to say. Look, just don't do anything crazy, all right?
Natalie: Don't worry. I'm not going to go after Cristian the way I went after you when you and Jessica hooked up. I learned that lesson.
Seth: Well, you deserve to be happy. I mean that. I have to go find Jess. We had a big fight yesterday.
Natalie: Well, then go. Go, go, go, go, go, go. Before it gets worse. Here. And, Seth, thank you.
Jessica: Oh, my God.
***********************************************
Cristian: It's not a crush, Mom. I love her.
Carlotta: Look, I know how exciting new things can be. But real love stands the test of time, and you and Jen have been together for a while. You have a life, not a fantasy.
Cristian: I know how I feel.
Carlotta: But you helped Natalie through a crisis and you acted just the way I would expect. But do you think that you could live with her every day, have --
Cristian: Yes.
Carlotta: Like you have with Jen?
Cristian: Yes, I could. And you're right -- I helped her through a crisis. And you know what? I got to know her, and she's a terrific person.
Carlotta: Yeah, who, for some reason, seems to have a terrible reputation.
Cristian: Only part of that is even based on anything. And she's changed.
Carlotta: Listen to me, mijo. I know your feelings seem overwhelming right now -- your marriage, a new baby. Your life will never be the same. But you're marrying Jen, and that's the right decision. You loved her before. You can love her again. And no matter what you felt for Natalie, that's over.
Cristian: I know that.
Carlotta: You're going to be a wonderful husband and father. And these feelings for Natalie will fade in the face of your new life.
Cristian: Maybe.
Carlotta: Your father would be very proud of you.
Carlotta: Don't be long.
***********************************************
Sam: Do you honestly believe that you're not good enough for me?
Blair: Yes, I -- no. Come on, Sam, the whole conversation last night was completely ridiculous.
Sam: I agree.
Blair: I was upset and --
Sam: Have I asked ---
Blair: I am upset.
Sam: Have I asked you for a commitment?
Blair: That would be no.
Sam: So let's explore what's going on here.
Blair: "Explore"? "Explore"? Sam, there's actually nothing to explore here.
Sam: Then why are you so worked up?
Blair: I'm not. I -- look, I know that you think that I have feelings for you, and I did once and we both know how that worked out. I --
Sam: Things change.
Blair: Yeah, and I'm not even attracted to you, not at -- not at all. I mean, I was.
Sam: Really?
Blair: Yeah, I was. You know, what -- no, I am because, you know, we're friends. You're my best friend.
Sam: Right.
Blair: And I -- that's it, though.
Sam: I don't buy it.
Blair: Look, Sam, I'm really just trying to let you down easy. I -- I am, and --
Sam: I don't believe you.
Blair: Sam, come on. You know why it didn't work the last time? Because there's no chemistry, none.
Sam: Really?
Blair: Mm-hmm.
Sam: No chemistry?
Blair: Uh-uh.
Sam: Nothing?
Blair: Nope. Nothing.
Sam: Then why does it bother you to be close to me?
Blair: It -- it doesn't.
Sam: Don't lie to me, Blair. You look like you're about to jump out of your beautiful skin.
***********************************************
Emily: Excuse me. Ms. Baxter?
Claire: Yes.
Emily: Hi. Emily MacIver, Troy's sister.
Claire: Oh, gosh. I'm so glad you could make it.
Emily: Oh, me, too. Thanks so much for calling me. I mean, so does he know yet?
Claire: No, not yet. He's in with a patient.
***********************************************
Troy: Why are you so curious about Africa?
Lindsay: When I was in prison, I had a lot of free time. I used it to reflect on my life when I wasn't busy trying to preserve it.
Troy: So why don't you go reflect on your life somewhere else and leave my life out of it.
Lindsay: Hmm. You know, a little more than a year ago, I didn't even know you existed, and since then, I have fallen in and out of love with you.
Troy: Really, Lindsay, we're going to go through this again?
Lindsay: And you've founded this wonderful clinic. You've touched so many people's lives since you dropped out of the clear, blue sky -- the clear, blue, African sky.
Troy: Look, you know what? I have to work, ok? I don't have time to listen to you ramble.
Lindsay: Why, Troy? Why did you leave Africa? You had a clinic there and a life, and you just suddenly left it all behind. Why?
Troy: You know why.
***********************************************
Liz: I want to be happy for Keri, and yet -- I don't know. I just -- I don't want to ruin her day.
Nora: Well, the only way you'll ruin her day is if you leave. Antonio's a wonderful man, you know. You don't have to worry about Keri’s happiness.
Liz: But didn't he shoot that doctor?
Nora: Well, yes, he did, but it was an accident in the line of duty and he was exonerated.
Liz: Yeah, and he ran away afterwards. He left Keri high and dry. Nobody knew where he was. Who's to say -- I don't know -- maybe he was running around on her. I don't know.
Nora: Liz, I've known Antonio for many years. I mean, he comes from a terrific family. He's worked really hard to get where he is. And he has been through hell and back, and I've never known him to be anything other than decent and kind.
Liz: Everybody's got a dark side.
Nora: Yes. In his younger years, he struggled with it, but no more. Other than that, I never would have introduced him to Keri.
Liz: You introduced them?
Nora: Yes, I did. Didn't she --
Liz: No.
Nora: A blind date, actually. Well, they actually knew each other beforehand. Keri was Antonio’s professor in a course he had to take to get credits for his -- to become a detective, and so -- but she didn't ever let him slide. Uh-uh.
Liz: He asked her to?
Nora: No, Liz, he didn't. She was the advisor on a paper that he was writing, and, actually, because of her help, he won an award for the research that he did on the paper.
Liz: She's a very good teacher, isn't she?
Nora: Yes, who almost lost her job if Antonio hadn't come to the rescue.
Liz: Yeah. She told me about that.
Nora: Yeah. He exposed the person who's making these bogus charges and -- he's the best. Really, Liz, he's the best.
Liz: I'm glad to hear that.
Nora: And when he ran away, he ran away because of the shooting, not because he wanted to run around. He was devastated when he shot Ben Davidson.
Liz: So he's a good cop, huh?
Nora: He's a good man. He'll take good care of Keri, and they deserve this happiness.
Liz: No, I -- you know, I gotta get back to Chicago now.
Keri: Mom. You're not really leaving, are you? Not before you meet Antonio.
***********************************************
Natalie: This isn't what it looks like.
Seth: I dozed off in here last night, that's all.
Jessica: I can't believe this.
Rex: What's going on?
Natalie: Nothing.
Jessica: I caught you two in the act.
Natalie: Hardly.
Seth: Look, calm down, Jess. Come on.
Jessica: What is this, Natalie? Is this your way of getting back at me for yelling at you for breaking up Jen and Cristian? Is that what it is?
Natalie: No, Jessica, but it's so good to know that that's what you think of me. Thank you so much.
Rex: You guys, just take a step back --
Jessica: I should have known, you know? You hate to hear the truth about yourself.
Natalie: You know what? You have gone completely crazy.
Jessica: You always go after guys who are taken.
Seth: That's not fair, Jess.
Jessica: What? You're defending her?
Seth: She didn't do what you think.
Jessica: Not by herself, that's for sure.
Seth: Jess, I love you. I wouldn't cheat on you with anyone.
Rex: Ok, it looks to me like --
Seth: Keep out of this!
Jessica: What do you think? You're going to spend the rest of your life alone -- don't you realize that? -- If you keep going after guys who are in love with somebody else.
Seth: Lay off her, Jess. She's been through enough.
Jessica: What, you're on her side now?
Seth: Come on, Jess! Damn!
Jessica: We get in one fight, and you go right back to her.
Seth: That is not what happened!
Rex: There's got to be some explanation.
Jessica: Really? Looks pretty obvious to me.
Rex: Natalie wouldn't do that to you.
Jessica: Really? After all the things that she's done to me?
Rex: That was before, and Seth cares about you, you know? Give him a chance to explain.
Jessica: Ok. Explain.
Seth: Natalie was upset. She couldn't stop crying. I didn't think she should be alone.
Jessica: So you slept with her?
Seth: I fell asleep in here, that's all. I was helping her out.
Jessica: Is that what you call it?
Natalie: Just shut up! All of you just shut the hell up!
***********************************************
Carlotta: Antonio, wait.
Antonio: Mami, I'm on my way to meet Keri’s mom.
Carlotta: I thought you met her last night.
Antonio: She was out.
Carlotta: I'm very worried about your brother.
Antonio: Why?
Carlotta: He's miserable. Please, go to him. Tell him he's doing the right thing.
Antonio: About what, Mami? What? I mean, what's going on?
Carlotta: He's going to marry Jen.
Antonio: What made him decide that?
Carlotta: The two of them are bringing a new life into the world, and that's a sacred commitment. Your brother at least doesn't take that lightly, whereas you and Keri --
Antonio: We've been through all that.
Carlotta: I'm trying to get used to the idea.
Antonio: Yeah? Well, get used to it now before I introduce you to Keri’s mom.
Carlotta: Look, I won't say anything, but please go talk to your brother. He's in the bar. He's looking very lonely.
Antonio: I -- I will. After.
Carlotta: No, but he needs you now. Go talk to him.
Antonio: Mami, you're the one that's been pushing me to meet this -- this woman. I've been trying for days.
Carlotta: I know, but family comes first. Antonio, please.
***********************************************
Liz: I just wanted to check out before the party so I won't have to do it later.
Nora: And then I ambushed her, and I gave Antonio a glowing recommendation, may I add. I just know that your mother's going to fall head over heels when she meets him.
Keri: Mom, come on, he's right outside. Finally have the two of you in the same room at the same time.
Nora: Come on, mother of the bride.
***********************************************
Troy: I came to Llanview for the reading of my brother's will. And I stayed to try and make up for some of the damage he did while he was here.
Lindsay: Oh, yes, Colin, your evil twin.
Troy: Well, I guess you should know, Lindsay, since you were the one that pushed him into everything that he did, including Nora’s kidnapping. You remember that? Well, you should, since you were the one that gave her the drug that erased her memories. Or have you been so busy pondering my past that you've forgotten about your own?
Lindsay: You know what I do remember? How important it was for you to show everyone in Llanview that you were the good twin.
Troy: I came here for Colin. And I stayed because of Nora. Because I fell in love with her.
Lindsay: Who doesn't?
Troy: You know what, Lindsay? I'm not going to argue with you, ok? Nothing you say, Lindsay, is going to change the way I feel. So, now, do you need a doctor, or are you leaving?
Lindsay: I am feeling better.
Troy: Good for you.
Lindsay: Just one thing I -- I am still curious about. How did this little town in Pennsylvania get so lucky to have you when I know that your first love was Africa?
Emily: Hi.
Troy: Hey. Hey.
Emily: How are you? What is she doing here?
Troy: She's leaving.
Claire: Congratulations, Doctor.
Troy: I'm sorry, congratulations? For what?
Claire: The free clinic you established just won the biggest and most prestigious grant in North America.
Troy: No. No, we won the DeVilbiss?
Claire: You won it for us, Troy.
Troy: Are you kidding? I didn't even think we had a prayer. Claire, you know what this means, right?
Claire: Yes. Our funding worries are over for a very long time.
Troy: I can't believe it. How -- well, how did you know about this?
Emily: Oh, well, Ms. Baxter invited me to come to the party.
Troy: To the party? What party?
Claire: It's the one in your honor, here in about an hour. All the staff members, board directors, you.
Emily: Oh, Troy, I -- I'm so proud of you.
Troy: Oh, thank you.
Lindsay: Huh. A party. Hmm. That might be a good time to give a little award of my own.
***********************************************
Blair: What do I have to do to get you to listen to me?
Sam: Nothing. I'm listening. But what you're saying and what you're doing are two very different things.
Blair: I think you're reading way too much into this, Counselor.
Sam: I know what I want, Blair, and I'm not afraid to say it.
Blair: Well, I know what I want, too, and I don't want this.
Sam: Why?
Blair: Because it's -- it's a mistake.
Sam: What are you so afraid of?
Blair: Look, I'm not afraid of anything. I -- look, I don't want to hurt you, ok? You're my best friend, and I don't know what I would do if you weren't in my life, Sam.
Sam: We're not going to lose the friendship, Blair. I wouldn't let that happen.
Blair: You can't guarantee that.
Sam: And as for getting hurt, who's to say I wouldn't end up hurting you?
Blair: Well, I don't want that, either.
Sam: We've both been around the block more than once, Blair. I really think we can handle it. We just might be great together. Wouldn't it be sad if we were too scared to find out?
Blair: I'm not scared.
Sam: Good. Neither am I. Take a chance with me. Let's see where this goes.
Blair: You know what? I can save us both a lot of time and grief here because absolutely nothing romantic is going on here. I'm positive.
Sam: All right. I can accept that.
Blair: Good.
Sam: If -- if you can look me in the eyes right now and tell me that you don't feel anything for me at all.
Blair: I don't feel anything for you at all, Sam.
Sam: Tell me that like you mean it.
Blair: Fine. I don't --
Sam: Look at me. Look at me.
***********************************************
Emily: So, I guess Llanview has really turned out to be your place.
Troy: Yeah. I hardly recognize my life since I've been here.
Emily: Oh, right, because you were such a lousy bum before.
Troy: Seriously. I mean, look at me. I -- I'm in love with the most incredible woman on the planet.
Emily: Ahem.
Troy: Ok, one of two.
Emily: Oh, right. Well --
Troy: And now with this grant -- I mean, Em, this means my clinic is here to stay.
Emily: Yeah. And it seems like someone else is here to stay, too. What was Mrs. Rappaport doing here?
Troy: She was -- she was just being Lindsay.
Emily: Didn't she go to jail for that?
Troy: Yeah. Unfortunately, the governor let her out.
Emily: So she can give you and Nora grief.
Troy: Yeah. She kept bringing up Africa.
Emily: Why?
Troy: I'm not sure.
Emily: And now you're thinking about Joanna again.
Troy: Yeah. You know, Emily, it's almost as if she --
Emily: What, Troy?
***********************************************
Lindsay: I know exactly how I'm going to destroy Troy and Nora.
***********************************************
Keri: Isn't he the most gorgeous man you've ever seen in your life?
Liz: Uh -- wait. Do either one of you have a lipstick?
Nora: What, are you nervous?
Liz: Mother's prerogative.
Nora: I don't think I have any. No, I know I don't have anything.
Keri: Mom, you're being silly. You look fine. But if you insist, here.
Liz: Thanks.
Nora: Hey, she's the bride. She's the one that's supposed to be nervous. And you look beautiful, I might add.
Keri: Thank you.
Nora: Absolutely radiant.
Liz: Ok. I'm ready.
Keri: Ok. Let's go. Oh, Carlotta. Well, what happened to Antonio?
Carlotta: Oh, he'll be right back.
Keri: Oh. Mrs. Vega, I'd like you to meet my mother. This is Elizabeth Reynolds. This is Antonio’s mom.
Carlotta: Um -- I'm glad you could make it to the party.
Renee: I'm so sorry to interrupt. I have a procedural question. Keri, Carlotta.
Carlotta: Oh, please excuse us.
Nora: You know what? I'm going to give my guy a call because I don't know what's keeping him.
Liz: Wait. You are seeing somebody?
Nora: Yes, I am.
Liz: Oh.
Nora: And if you think Antonio’s handsome, you should see who I'm dating.
Liz: I can't wait.
Nora: Are you feeling better?
Liz: Yeah, for the moment.
Nora: Good.
Liz: Go. Make your call.
Nora: Ok, ok. I'll be right back.
Liz: I gotta get out of here. Yeah.
***********************************************
Antonio: Mami gave me the news.
Cristian: She's pregnant, Antonio. I can't leave her.
Antonio: You don't have to get married.
Cristian: Look, we've been together for a long time. She always thought that we'd be getting married. Everyone did, and I did, too.
Antonio: You don't have to get married.
Cristian: I can't just walk out on her, Man. She has no idea that I'm in love with somebody else.
Antonio: Yeah? What about you? You can't marry someone you don't love.
Cristian: I do love her. It's just --
Antonio: Not like Natalie. You think that's going to change? You're going to see Natalie around town.
Cristian: No, I know it's not going to change, but I'll handle it.
Antonio: And lie?
Cristian: She'll find somebody else.
Antonio: Oh, terrific.
Cristian: Look, how can I be with Natalie knowing how badly I hurt Jen? I can't do it, Man. I wouldn't be able to live with myself.
Antonio: Then you're going to have to take time to think. There's got to be some kind of solution.
Cristian: No, I'm going to be a good husband to Jen and a good father to the baby. That's -- that's good enough for me.
Antonio: You don't even believe that.
Cristian: Look, Antonio, this is your day, all right? Yours and Keri’s, and I don't want to ruin it for you.
Antonio: Cristian --
Cristian: No, really, Man. I'm really happy that the two of you are back together. It's -- you guys are the real thing.
Antonio: Yeah. Great. Thanks. Well, it's hard being happy when I know that you are unhappy.
Cristian: Don't worry about it. I'm cool. Look, things are going to work out the way they're, you know, supposed to work out. If a miracle happens.
Antonio: Well, it just might. I mean, look what happened to me. I met a complete stranger. We connected. If it weren't for her, I'd still be running probably as fast as I could away from here. But instead --
Cristian: You should probably go back in, Man.

Jessica: What happened, Natalie? I thought you and Cristian were going to live happily ever after.
Seth: Jessica, don't.
Jessica: I thought he was breaking up with Jen to be with you. Or were you wrong?
Natalie: I don't have to listen to this.
Jessica: Did he suddenly remember that he's in love with Jen? Or did you make it up?
Natalie: You're right, Sis. I meant nothing to Cristian. I just made it all up!
Jessica: So he's in love with Jen.
Natalie: Right. And next time I need a reality check, I'll make sure I come to you.
Jessica: Next time?
Natalie: Well, who knows, Sis? I mean, Cristian and I are over, and I'm going to be a part of your family forever. Ooh, in fact, I'm a real Buchanan and you're not. So I'm going to be in your face till the day you die. Get used to it.
Jessica: Can I speak to Seth, please?
Rex: Sure?
Jessica: Yeah.
Rex: All right. I'll be outside if you need me.
Seth: You know Natalie and I didn't sleep together.
Jessica: Do I?
Seth: Jess, I love you. I thought you felt the same way. If you don't trust me, there's nothing more to say.
Jessica: Guess there isn’t.
Seth: That's it?
Rex: Sorry, man. I thought we were all going to be good friends.
Seth: It was you. You set Jessica up to catch me and Natalie together.
Rex: How did I do that? Drag you into Natalie’s room?
Seth: It was completely innocent, and you know it!
Rex: I don't know that.
Rex: Hey, Man, don't growl at me. You were the one in bed with Natalie.
Seth: You little -- you think I'm not going to Michigan now, don't you? You think I don't have a reason to go ask your aunt what it is you're hiding. But I'm going.
Rex: Waste of time, dude.
Seth: I'm going to prove to Jessica you're a lying weasel. And when I get back, she's going to find out she put her trust in the wrong guy. Now you're worried. Guess I'll find out why.
Rex: Damn! Jessica cannot find out Roxy’s not her mother.
Jessica: I heard him yelling. What did he say to you?
Rex: Uh -- nothing much. All that matters is that you're ok.
Jessica: Oh. I'm so glad that you're here.
Rex: Look, I'm sorry about all this. I was really hoping you and Seth would work it out, but I guess he's just not the right guy for you.
Jessica: Let Natalie have him.
***********************************************
Natalie: Something with lime in it.
***********************************************
Emily: It's as if Lindsay what, Troy?
Troy: You know what? Never mind. I mean, here I am -- I'm having such a great day. I'm not going to start inventing troubles.
Emily: But Joanna’s death really haunts you.
Troy: Yeah. But less and less. I've put Joanna behind me, and my life couldn't be any happier right now. I have the DeVilbiss award I just won, and I have Nora. Right now, I am so happy that there is nothing Lindsay can do to take that away.
***********************************************
Lindsay: It's time for Nora to find out about Joanna. And this is the perfect way to make sure she does.
***********************************************
Liz: Good-bye, Keri. I'm so sorry.
***********************************************
Blair: I --
Sam: I knew it.
Blair: It could be such a disaster, Sam.
Sam: Or the best thing that ever happened to us.
Blair: With my track record --
Sam: Well, mine's not much better.
Blair: No, no --
Sam: But this time, I feel like it's right.
Blair: Boy, you talk about rose-colored glasses. Sam, it's never going to work. I mean --
Sam: Gotta go.
Sam: But I'll be back to make a date for our date.
***********************************************
Doctor: They called me down for a critical case?
Nurse: A man was found washed up on shore. We have no idea who he is.

>> On the next "One Life to Live" --
Natalie: Jen's having your baby, and there's no way of getting around that.
Jen: Are you going to keep your big mouth shut, or are you going to drag Cristian right back into Natalie’s arms?
Keri: I had a medical procedure to help out Mom.
Antonio: What are you doing here?
