One Life to Live Transcript Tuesday 9/24/02
Asa: If I don't marry her, I'll end up in prison.
Liz: I wish Steve were the father. If I'm pregnant, it's by a total stranger.
Keri: Mama, I could carry the baby for you.
Cristian: I'm in love with you, Natalie. I have been for a while.
Jen: I'm not going to let them hurt me like this. I'm pregnant.
***********************************************
Antonio: Hey. What are you doing here?
Liz: The most amazing thing happened.
Antonio: It did?
Liz: And I have you to thank for it.
***********************************************
Keri: "Love, Antonio."
R.J.: Hey. I heard my daughter was back.
Keri: Oh. You heard right.
R.J.: So, how was Chicago? Is everything all right?
Keri: Steve, my mother's husband, was in an accident. He died.
R.J.: Oh. Were you close to him?
Keri: Yes, very. He was a wonderful man and he was -- he was there when I was growing up. He loved my mother and me very much.
R.J.: How is your mother doing?
Keri: It's hit her pretty hard.
R.J.: Well, sure. But don't worry, she'll -- she'll find some way to put it behind her. She'll move on.
Keri: I think she already has.
***********************************************
Hank: What marriage? What is going on?
Rae: While you were away, I got married.
Hank: You got married?
Nigel: It was a lovely ceremony.
Hank: Well, I didn't realize. I -- I mean, well, who did you marry?
Nigel: Excuse me. Why don't I start taking these boxes to the car.
Hank: You and Nigel?
Rae: No. Don't be silly. The man I married is Asa Buchanan.
***********************************************
Gabrielle: Bo? Bo?
Bo: Hi. Good morning.
Gabrielle: Hi. You're a sight for sore eyes. I thought when I woke up and you weren't there that maybe you had --
Bo: I'd just, you know, head for the high ground? No. No, I had to get up. I ran by the station. I didn't want to wake you up because you just -- you just looked so --
Gabrielle: Happy.
Bo: Well, yeah, yeah. I was going to say beautiful, but happy, that works just fine.
Gabrielle: And I am happy. I can't wait to show the whole world how happy I am.
***********************************************
Jen: We're getting married.
Natalie: That's impossible.
Jen: Yeah, I couldn't believe it, either, but it's really happening.
Natalie: Cristian?
Jen: Go on, tell her. Tell her. Tell her we're getting married.
Cristian: Jen, I need to talk to you alone.
Jen: What's wrong? I thought you would want me to tell Natalie the good news.
Cristian: Why did you do that?
Jen: Why do you seem so upset?
Cristian: Why did you tell Natalie we're getting married?
Jen: Didn't you want to tell your friends about it? I mean, that's why you came here to see Natalie, right?
Cristian: Jen, we haven't even talked about what we're going to do yet.
Jen: I know, but --
Cristian: And no one said anything about marriage.
Natalie: Ok, what -- what's going on? I -- I don't understand. I -- I thought --
Jen: Oh, I know what you thought, Natalie.
***********************************************
Mollie: What happened, Al? You lose something?
Shawna: Yeah, he lost Jen Rappaport -- again.
Al: Hey, Shawna, why don't you shut the hell up.
Mollie: She's only telling the truth. Or are you afraid of that?
Al: Since when are you two so close again, huh? I thought you guys were fighting.
Shawna: We had a misunderstanding, that's all.
Al: About a boy.
Mollie: Who's a jerk, like most guys that I know.
Shawna: Oh, just forget about him, Mol; our friendship is more important.
Al: That's touching.
Shawna: Like your friendship with Jen.
Al: I thought I told you to shut the hell up about Jen.
Shawna: Ooh-ooh. You must feel like such a stud, huh, being Jen’s friend and nothing else.
Al: Jen and I are a hell of a lot more than friends, ok?
Shawna: Oh, really?
***********************************************
Antonio: So, what amazing thing happened?
Liz: Well, the morning after we left each other at the motel, I just -- I felt like I was ready to deal with things in my life.
Antonio: Well, that's great.
Liz: Yeah.
Antonio: I -- I mean, I'm happy for you.
Liz: Thank you. So how about you?
Antonio: I got my job back, and that's not even the best part.
Liz: Well, I hope it has something to do with that woman that you thought you'd lost forever.
Antonio: Actually, it does have to do with that woman that I lost forever. I got her back, and hopefully for good this time.
Liz: Oh, that's good. I'm truly happy for you.
Antonio: So you never -- never told me, what brought you to Llanview?
Liz: Right.
Antonio: Are you looking for the person that you were trying to contact the last time?
***********************************************
R.J.: Look, Keri, why didn't you tell me that you were going to see your mother?
Keri: I don't know. I -- I don't like to talk about mom with you.
R.J.: Well, we should be able to talk about anything.
Keri: To be honest, R.J., I know there's still a lot of anger there, on both sides.
R.J.: Well, yeah. Yes, and I'm entitled to it. Some people I -- people very close to me treated me like I'm some kind of troll. They hid you from me. I missed out on your whole life.
Keri: I know this, and I was upset about it, too.
R.J.: Yeah, well, you were right to be.
Keri: But I'm not mad at my mother, not anymore. She only did what she thought was best.
R.J.: What, because I'm a criminal, I don't have feelings, I'm not human? Don't I have rights?
Keri: I know that's no excuse for not telling you that she was pregnant.
[R.J. sighs]
R.J.: And I have been out of prison a long time.
Keri: But she had no way of knowing that you would want to raise a child.
R.J.: No, no, no, she didn't, but she asked my brother. She went to good old Henry for help, but she never asked me, and then they decide they're going to make sure I never find out about it.
Keri: But you did find out. You know. Be happy.
R.J.: I am. I'm grateful that you were open-minded enough to try to get to know me.
Keri: You're my father.
R.J.: Sometimes I wonder how things would have turned out if I'd known about it.
Keri: I used to wonder the same thing.
R.J.: I mean, you'd still be an incredible woman. Nothing could change that, but maybe if I had towed the line a little --
Keri: R.J., R.J., forget about the what ifs.
R.J.: I haven't seen Liz since before you were born. But she should see me today; see how I've turned my life around.
Keri: R.J., There's something you should know. My mom is in Llanview.
***********************************************
Liz: Actually, it turns out that I didn't need to find that person I was looking for. They came to see me.
Antonio: Oh, and that's all right? I mean, that was good?
Liz: Yeah, that was good. It was exactly what I needed.
Antonio: Well, that's great. You know, I never really expected to see you again.
Liz: Yeah. Likewise.
Antonio: And everything is really ok with you?
Liz: Mm-hmm, yes, things are fine.
Antonio: Well, good. I mean, good. I'm glad.
Liz: So, our chance meeting on a dark road doesn't seem to have any bad effect on either of us.
Antonio: So, what -- what brings you to Llanview? Are you going to be here for a while?
Liz: No, don't worry. This is just a whirlwind trip. I'm here to meet somebody -- somebody new, that is. Maybe you know him.
Antonio: Well, I might. What's his name?
***********************************************
Hank: You and Asa?
Rae: Yes. It was fairly sudden.
Hank: Well, yeah. I mean, when I left, you two hated each other.
Rae: Well, I mean, you know how these things can happen.
Hank: Look, don't tell me he swept you off your feet. I prosecuted him. He persecuted you.
Rae: No, he didn't sweep me off my feet. It's a marriage of convenience, really. Asa can give me everything I need.
Hank: Yeah, a stroke. Come on, Rae, you have some kind of brain damage, I'm telling you.
Rae: Come on, Hank; don't joke about this, ok?
Hank: Joke? You are married to Asa Buchanan. If that's not a joke, you tell me what is.
Rae: I lost everything, everything -- my job, my credibility, my home, money, and my friends.
Hank: Not all of your friends.
Rae: Well, you know, Hank, last time I saw you, as I recall, you were pretty angry at me. In fact, you even said you might prosecute me.
Hank: It was a possibility, Rae. What did you want me to do, not tell you?
Rae: Maybe you could have waited until you actually knew.
Hank: Well, what are you talking about? Are you listening to me?
Rae: Oh, I have been listening, and I've heard plenty, believe me.
Hank: Just stop it, Rae. This isn't you.
Rae: Guess what, Hank -- it is. It is me, the real me, the one who stole some credentials so she could make a better life for herself, the one who lied to everyone she knew for as long as she could, and the one who now has to look out for herself.
Hank: Yeah, well, that's obvious. And now you're using Asa’s money to cover your debts.
Rae: I had to.
Hank: What about Asa?
Rae: What about him?
Hank: Come on. Asa has never done anything for anybody without getting something in the deal. What is he getting out of this?
Nigel: Madam, you need to show me what else is going to the mansion.
Rae: I'm sorry.
Hank: So am I, Rae.
Hank: You know, Rae, there's one problem with just looking out for yourself. You might be married to Asa, but at the end of the day, you're still all alone.
***********************************************
R.J.: Liz is here in Llanview?
Keri: She's only going to be here just for a few days.
R.J.: Where?
Keri: I can't tell you that.
R.J.: I thought we were finished playing "I've got a secret."
Keri: R.J., she doesn't want to see you.
R.J.: Well, I guess she wouldn't.
Keri: But you want to see her.
R.J.: What good would that do?
Keri: But you said before that you were thinking --
R.J.: Look, we were children the last time we saw each other. At least two lifetimes ago. Now -- now we're just strangers.
Keri: You and I were strangers.
R.J.: Doesn't matter. Like you said, there's probably anger on both sides.
Keri: Yeah, and now isn't a good time anyway.
R.J.: Right, because of your stepfather.
Keri: She really needs to work through this. She needs her life to be as simple as possible right now.
R.J.: That make sense.
Keri: I'm glad you understand.
R.J.: But I am curious about something. I probably shouldn't ask.
Keri: We are talking to each other about everything, right?
R.J.: Yeah. Fair enough.
Keri: So what's your question?
R.J.: Well, Elizabeth hasn't come to town all the time you've been here, and she doesn't want to see me, so why did she come back with you now?
***********************************************
Liz: His name.
Antonio: What -- what's the matter?
Liz: I don't know. I --
Antonio: What, you don't trust me?
Liz: Now, that would be a little ironic, wouldn't it?
Antonio: Yeah. So, what's the problem here?
Liz: I guess I just don't want to spoil things. We spent a night together not even knowing our names and something good happened, for both of us.
Antonio: And you don't want to jinx it.
Liz: Yeah.
[Phone rings]
Liz: What, am I silly? Oh.
Antonio: Excuse me.
Liz: Sure. Hey, have a wonderful life, really.
Antonio: Yeah, you, too.
***********************************************
Liz: Excuse me, ladies. Can you tell me how to get to Prof. Reynolds' office?
Mollie: Sure, just go down the hall and take a left.
Shawna: Hey, Mollie, why don't you be a good samaritan and show her the way.
Mollie: Ok, let me just grab my things and I'll take you right there.
Liz: Ok.
Shawna: So, Al, you and Jen are more than just friends. Come on, do tell.
Al: Get lost.
Shawna: Oh, come on, Al, more than friends? That's got to mean something.
Al: It's none of your damn business what it means, ok?
Shawna: Well, let's see. Hmm. Now, Natalie’s been drooling all over Cristian, but Jen’s the one that he lives with, and Jen’s in love with Cristian, too, and, well, gee, I think that's it, Al. I didn't hear your name in there anywhere. Looks like you're out of the picture, huh?
Al: What the hell is wrong with you?
Shawna: Oh. I don't think so, Holden. See, now, I'm not the one who's chasing Jen Rappaport around when she doesn't even care.
Al: What is your problem? Why are you so concerned with who's together and who's not?
Shawna: And who's getting it and who isn't?
Al: You are so disgusting. Do you ever actually leave the gutter?
Shawna: Uh-uh, uh-uh, no, no, see, now, don't make this about me. You're not getting away that easy.
Al: No, this is about you. Why are you so concerned with what's going on in my life, what's going on in my relationship with Jen?
Shawna: Because everyone knows what you want!
Al: And I know what you want.
***********************************************
Jen: You think this is just really sudden. I mean, Cristian and I never said anything about getting married.
Natalie: Yeah.
Jen: You're worried about us, aren't you? Because you think it won't work out because we're still in school and --
Natalie: Cristian --
Cristian: Jen, can you just hold on a second, please?
Jen: Why? I think it's sweet that she cares about us. It means a lot to me. But you know what? You don't have to worry about us. Cristian and I know what we're doing. I guess we didn't really have a say in the timing, though, considering the circumstances.
Natalie: What circumstances?
Cristian: Ok, Jen, stop.
Jen: What? I just thought Natalie would like to understand what's going on here.
Cristian: Yes, yes, I know, but please do me a favor -- stop thinking.
[Cristian sighs]
Cristian: Look, Natalie, Jen’s pregnant.
***********************************************
Bo: I wish I could stay here longer.
[Gabrielle gasps]
Gabrielle: I got to go to work. Whoa.
Bo: Oh. How is everything at "The Banner" these days?
Gabrielle: Oh, it's going along swimmingly. Even though Viki’s away, she's put together a dynamite team.
Bo: Well, I know the style editor is dynamite.
Gabrielle: She's been known to have a rather explosive personality every now and then.
Bo: I love fireworks.
Gabrielle: I'll have to remind you of that when we have our first fight.
Bo: Oh.
Gabrielle: How much time? Shower. Shower time, yeah.
Bo: Do me a favor, ok? Why don't you wait until I'm out the door before you do that because I think I might be tempted.
Gabrielle: Oh, is that so?
Bo: Yeah.
Gabrielle: Oh, I don't know. Maybe I'll have to do it right now.
Bo: Hey, wait -- just come on, come on, come on.
Gabrielle: Oh --
Bo: Yeah. Take your chances.
Gabrielle: All right, then how about I stop by the station for lunch? We could have lunch together.
Bo: I wish. You know what? I gotta work through lunch.
Gabrielle: Right. Ok. Dinner? I could make reservations at The Palace, and we could show the world --
Bo: It's one of the mayor's monthly briefings, and it's probably going to go late.
Gabrielle: Right.
Bo: Yeah.
Gabrielle: Well, if I have to share you with somebody, it might as well be the mayor. Only the mayor, right?
Bo: Assistant mayor may be there, too. But that's it.
Gabrielle: All right, then. That will be all right.
Bo: Do you know how noble you are?
Gabrielle: Yes, I have a pretty good idea. Tomorrow, then. Tomorrow we can show the world that we're a couple, right? Tomorrow.
Bo: Yeah. Well, you know what else we could do? You could -- you could wait up for me, and then we could just have fun being a private couple again tonight.
***********************************************
Keri: Mom came back with me because -- and I'm so glad I could be your surrogate.
Liz: If it turns out you're pregnant.
Keri: She just -- she wanted to be here now.
R.J.: Keri, what's going on?
Keri: You know, I completely forgot. I really need to find Antonio.
R.J.: Keri --
Keri: No, I haven't seen him since I've been back, and I really need to tell him something.
R.J.: Well, now, that sounds important.
Keri: It is and I -- believe me, I will tell you all about it, but I have to tell Antonio first. I'm sorry. I will call you, though.
R.J.: Well, now, wait, wait, I just wanted to tell you that I am glad that Antonio has been reinstated.
Keri: Well, I -- I'm glad to hear you say that. It's nice that you support him.
R.J.: Of course. What is it?
Keri: And not that I don't appreciate it, but what made you change your mind?
R.J.: Well -- well, sooner or later, he's going to be related to me.
Keri: So that's what made you change how you feel about him?
R.J.: One must make allowances for family, and that's what he's going to be, right? Part of my family. Who knows? One day he might even make me a grandfather.
***********************************************
Antonio: Hey. Is this the person --
Liz: No, no. Actually, she's just helping me find my way around here.
Antonio: Oh.
Liz: You know, I can probably find it myself. But thanks.
Mollie: Ok. Ok, great.
Liz: Ok.
Antonio: So, you haven't met up with the person you were supposed to meet?
Liz: No. Not yet.
Antonio: Well, all the best.
Liz: Thanks.
Antonio: You know, I can't help but wish I knew your name.
Liz: You know, I just -- I think it's better this way. You know, this is really the last time we're ever going to see each other anyway.
Antonio: Right. You're probably right.
Liz: Thank you -- for everything.
[Phone rings]
[Liz laughs]
Liz: You are one popular kind of guy.
Antonio: Maybe getting reinstated wasn't that good.
Liz: No, being wanted -- that is a very good thing.
Antonio: Good-bye.
Liz: Good-bye.
***********************************************
Keri: So, the reason you might be pregnant -- it was just an accident?
Liz: Yeah. It was. A huge accident. You, whoever you are, will never, ever know just how much you've done for me.
***********************************************
Shawna: Oh, this is exciting, Al. Tell me, what do I want?
Al: You want a guy, Shawna -- any guy.
Shawna: I can have any guy.
Al: Really? Is that why you spend your days making other people's lives miserable?
Mollie: What's going on now?
Shawna: Al is just playing junior shrink.
Al: Nobody wants you, Shawna. And from where I'm standing, nobody ever will.
Mollie: Why don't you just leave her alone?
Al: You're so concerned with what's going on in my life, where I'm going, what I'm doing, who I'm seeing. Funny thing is I never see you with anybody.
Shawna: You don't know --
Al: Get a life, Shawna. Stay out of mine. Excuse me.
***********************************************
Natalie: Jen's pregnant?
Cristian: Yeah. Yeah, she is.
Jen: Isn't it great?
Cristian: I just found out. She just told me.
Jen: Last night. I was just so excited.
Cristian: And I was surprised.
Jen: But it's a wonderful surprise. I just didn't even expect it. You know, I never thought I would feel this way. But I guess it's true what people say -- a baby changes everything.
Natalie: Yeah. Yeah, chan-- changes everything.
Cristian: Look, Natalie --
Natalie: You know, I -- I gotta get the bus.
Cristian: Hey, Natalie, hold on a second.
Natalie: No, I've got -- congratulations.
Jen: We better get home. We've got a lot of planning to do.
Cristian: I think we have a lot of talking to do first.
Jen: What do we have to talk about?
Cristian: Jen, why did you do that? Why did you say all that to Natalie?
Jen: I told you -- I thought she'd want to hear our good news.
Cristian: Jen, you told her we were getting married. Nobody said anything about getting married.
Jen: Cristian, I'm pregnant. What is there to say?
***********************************************
Rae: Ok, I think that's the last of it.
Nigel: Forgive me for saying so, Ms. Cummings -- that is, Mrs. Buchanan, Madam.
Rae: Yes, Nigel? What?
Nigel: I can't help but notice your mood after Mr. Gannon left.
Rae: What about it?
Nigel: Well, it's not my place, but the district attorney seemed to be very cruel to you.
Rae: You think?
Nigel: Indeed. Overly cruel. Even rude.
Rae: You don't think he made a good point?
Nigel: Well, most certainly not. I mean, the nerve of the man to suggest that you're friendless.
Rae: You're right. I'm not. I mean, not exactly.
Nigel: Well, of course not. You must have many, many friends.
Rae: Yes.
Nigel: Somewhere.
Rae: Thousands, probably.
Nigel: Oh, I knew it. You certainly have no need of the flimsy offer of friendship that Mr. Gannon made, even though it did seem to me that he was most sincere about it.
Rae: Well, he didn't exactly extend his hand in friendship when he stormed out of here, did he?
Nigel: True, but, then, I know the district attorney to be a very fair man who believes in second chances.
Rae: I think this was my second chance.
Nigel: Oh, who cares? You have absolutely no need of Mr. Gannon's second chance at friendship or anything else.
Rae: No, I don’t. I have everything I need with Asa. And I definitely don't need Hank Gannon in my life. Nigel, would you take care of the rest of this, please?
Nigel: Yes, of course.
Rae: Thank you.
***********************************************
Nigel: Mr. Buchanan? Have you made any progress in your plan to extricate yourself from your new wife's threat of blackmail? Oh. Oh, that's splendid, Sir. Keep up the good work. In the meantime, I may have some information that might be helpful. Your wife, Gretel, appears to have a weakness. Oh, not for what, but for whom. The district attorney, Hank Gannon.
***********************************************
Bo: Hank. You look like you just went 12 rounds.
Hank: Yeah, well, it was a split decision.
Bo: What's going on with you?
Hank: Your father married Rae Cummings?
Bo: Yeah. Oh, God, I'm sorry. You know what? I should have mentioned that to you.
Hank: It didn't seem odd to you, Bo?
Bo: Well, yeah, of course. No, I admit it, I was surprised.
Hank: So, what did he say?
Bo: I didn't ask.
Hank: What, don't you want to know what's really going on?
Bo: I'll be honest with you. No. I didn't even see Pa when this whole marriage thing was going on. You know, he just -- he just sprung it on everybody.
Hank: So, what about after?
Bo: After, he left the country. And I -- you know what? I hope it was because he was embarrassed, but I think we both know better than that. So, you know, sooner or later, I'm sure I'm going to hear the whole story when he gets back from St. Blaze’s.
Hank: What is with you, Bo?
Bo: What do you mean?
Hank: I know you too well. Bo, you wouldn't just brush this off. You'd want to know what your old man was up to. You'd be out there looking for him until you found him.
Bo: Well, yeah, there was a time, but right now I have absolutely no desire to try to track down my old man.
Hank: You don't?
Bo: No. Oh, you know -- hey, I don't want to leave Llanview when I don't have to. And, you know, eventually I'm going to see him, but right now all I want to do is enjoy myself.
Hank: Ok, buddy, who gave you a happy pill?
Bo: Excuse me?
Hank: Well, come on, Bo, what's got you in such a good mood?
***********************************************
Mollie: Oh, Prof. Reynolds.
Keri: Hey, Mollie.
Mollie: Hi. A woman was looking for you earlier, so I just directed her to your office.
Keri: Ok, thank you.
Mollie: Ok?
Antonio: Hi.
Keri: Oh. Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers. I didn't do anything to deserve them.
Antonio: Oh, yes, you did.
Keri: Antonio, I am so sorry I couldn't be here for you during the hearing.
Antonio: Oh, honey, you were with your mom. She needed you.
Keri: Yeah, I know that, but why can't I be in two places at the same time?
Antonio: No, really, it doesn't matter. I mean, whether you were here or there -- I mean, either way, you're the reason why I got my job back.
Keri: What do you mean?
Antonio: Well, I mean, if I hadn't seen you, if we hadn't gotten back together, I don't really care what would have happened.
Keri: Don't say that.
Antonio: It's true. And now -- now I've got everything.
Keri: So do I.
Antonio: No, you don’t.
Keri: Oh.
Antonio: Now it's never coming off.
Keri: Never. This just makes everything so much more amazing.
Antonio: Everything? What happened when I left you in Chicago?
Keri: Antonio, I have something incredible to tell you.
***********************************************
Cristian: There's a lot that we need to talk about.
Jen: Like what?
Cristian: Come on, you know what. And you're already going around telling everyone that we're getting married.
Jen: I just thought that --
Cristian: Yeah, yeah. I know you did.
Jen: I mean, why wouldn't I think we're getting married? I mean, last time I thought I was pregnant, we were going to get married.
Cristian: That was a long time ago, Jen.
Jen: And now I'm really pregnant and -- I mean --
Cristian: Jen, look --
Jen: What are you saying? You don't want the baby?
Cristian: No. I mean, yeah, yeah, of course I want the baby.
Jen: Then what, you don't want to marry me?
Cristian: I just think that we need to -- we need to think about this, Jen.
Jen: What is there to think about? After everything we've been through together, everything that's happened between us.
Cristian: Well, there you go. That's exactly it. That's what we need to talk about -- everything that's happened to us, everything that's going on right now.
Jen: Don't say it. Don't tell me you don't want to marry me. That can't be what you're saying. I mean, you love me. We're having a baby together. I know you want to marry me.
Cristian: Jen, it's ok.
Jen: I know. I know. I'm just -- I'm acting crazy. I mean, there's no reason why you wouldn't want to marry me. You love me. And I love you more than anything.
***********************************************
Bo: You know, you're right. I am in a good mood.
Hank: Yeah, well, I can see that. What happened?
Bo: Things are great right now, that's all.
Hank: "Things"?
Bo: Yeah, you know, things, things. Life in general is just -- it's great right now. Everything is -- is great. But, you know, you came by to talk about Pa and Rae.
Hank: Yeah, that's right, I did.
Bo: Oh, Hank, you know, things were going pretty well with you and Rae for a while there.
Hank: Yeah, well, sort of. And I was starting to think that, well, maybe we'd become more than just friends.
Bo: Ah, buddy, I'm sorry. I -- see, I wish things had really worked out for you.
Hank: Ah. Gabrielle.
Gabrielle: Good morning.
Hank: Yeah, right. Good morning. Listen, Bo, I didn't realize your roommate was home.
Bo: Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Hank: Well, listen, I better get out of here. I will see you at the station.
Bo: Ok.
Hank: All right. Gabrielle.
Gabrielle: Hank.
Hank: Bye.
Bo: Sorry about that, but, you know, Hank -- he seems pretty upset about Pa's latest marriage.
Gabrielle: So I gathered, yeah. Well, I better get to work.
Bo: Hey, something wrong?
Gabrielle: Why didn't you tell Hank why you were so happy this morning?
Bo: Gabrielle --
Gabrielle: And when he called me your roommate, why didn't you say anything? Why, Bo? Are you ashamed of me?
***********************************************
Antonio: So -- so, what's up? What -- what happened?
Keri: Oh, it just -- everything happened so fast, I don't know where to begin.
Antonio: Well, it must have. I mean, I just left you yesterday.
Keri: I know. And, Antonio, when you meet my mother and you see what an incredible woman she is and what this means to her, you're going to understand.
Antonio: I can't wait. I mean, why don't we plan a romantic weekend to Chicago so I can. After all, I'm getting along fabulously with your father.
Keri: Oh, don't even joke about that. We don't have to go to Chicago. My mother is here in Llanview.
Antonio: Seriously?
Keri: Yeah, she's waiting for me in my office. So, let's go see her right now, and then I'll explain everything to you.

Liz: Keri?
Liz: R.J.

Cristian's voice: I love you, Natalie.
Natalie's voice: And we'll be together. Really together.
Cristian's voice: Tonight and every night from there on.
Jen's voice: Go ahead, Cristian, tell her. Tell her we're getting married.
Cristian's voice: Natalie, Jen’s pregnant.
Natalie: No. It can't happen.
Al: What's going on, Natalie? What can't happen?
***********************************************
Cristian: Jen, listen to me.
Jen: What?
Cristian: We have to figure out what's best for everyone here.
Jen: Everyone? Oh, you mean you, me, and the baby.
Cristian: That's right.
Jen: We already know what's best.
Cristian: Well, I don't know. Maybe we don't. I just think we really have to think about it before we make any big decisions.
Jen: What do we have to think about?
Cristian: There's a lot of stuff to think about. I mean, we have to try to be realistic.
Jen: I'm having a baby. How much more real can you get?
Cristian: Yeah, you're right. It doesn't get any more real than that.
Jen: Then what are you saying? What do you have to think about?
Cristian: Look, why don't we go home and talk about this.
Jen: No. We're going to settle this right here and right now.
Cristian: Jen, come on; let's just go home.
Jen: Tell me. Are you going to marry me or not?
