Keri: You think I'm lying to you. I'm not going to marry somebody who thinks I’m a liar!
Allison: I prefer my hostages with their mouths shut.
Starr: My mom and dad love each other. He has to come back.
Blair: If you're my assistant, then maybe you can help me forget about Todd.
Téa: I really want to get back to my life, the one that doesn't have you in it.
Ross: This -- this is not working. Not for you, not for me.
Blair: You're buttoning your shirt wrong.
Chad: What --
Blair: Here, let me.
Chad: You know, thanks.
Blair: There you go.
Chad: Ok.
Blair: Start there.
Chad: Great.
Blair: All right.
Chad: You're a great lady.
Blair: Well, you're not so bad yourself. You know what, I think this could be a beginning of a perfect relationship.
Starr: Mom, stop! What are you doing?
Blair: Starr, honey.
Starr: Don't "Starr, honey" me! Who is this guy and what are you doing with him?
Blair: I -- I was --
Starr: Don't you love Daddy anymore?
R.J.: Keri, I am so sorry, but it had to be done. I needed an alibi and you were my only hope. There was no way I was going to take the rap for helping Lindsay and that crazy girl escape from prison. But I'm going to make it up to you. I promise. Let's hope it's the last time I have to make that promise.
[Knock on door]
[R.J. laughs]
R.J.: What a surprise. Carlotta and Cristian.
Carlotta: I'll get right to the point, R.J. My son is going to marry your daughter, which means we are going to be family. So we're here to call a truce.
Cristian: To make things easier on Antonio and Keri.
Keri: Antonio? Tonio, are you here?
[Door opens]
Antonio: Keri?
Keri: I had to come.
Max: You're late.
Rex: Sorry. Things have been a little nuts since Mrs. Davidson disappeared. I've been trying to help out at Llanfair, being there for Natalie and Jessica. I lost track of time.
Max: Hey, taking care of your sisters -- good thing.
Rex: It's been pretty rough on them.
Max: How about your mother? Taking care of her lately?
Roxy: Viki's keeping her mouth shut because you killed her.
Allison: Too bad for her. Too bad, baby. Ah!
Niki: Did you really think I was dead? Well, I ain't, but you're going to be soon!
Jessica: I'm sorry. We shouldn't have just barged in here.
Blair: No, don't be silly.
Jessica: You and Chad -- I -- I found Starr in the attic at Llanfair.
Blair: Llan-- well, Sweetheart, what were you doing there?
Jessica: She -- she thought she might find Todd up there.
Blair: Oh, Starr.
Starr: So, anyway, what were you doing with this guy?
Blair: "This guy" is Chad. Come on, you remember him the other night at the house. Don't you? Chad, this is my lovely daughter, Starr.
Chad: Hey, Starr.
Blair: I hired Chad here as my assistant, and then I accidentally tripped and I spilled coffee all over his shirt.
Starr: I don't see any coffee.
Chad: Well, that's because your mother just took it to the ladies' room and washed it out for me.
Blair: Yeah, like I do with you when you spill things.
Starr: I don't spill things.
Blair: Starr, everybody spills things. And anyway, I brought his shirt back in and -- and then he was buttoning it wrong, so I was helping him.
Starr: He can't even button his own shirt?
Blair: Look, Starr, if you have a problem with missing your daddy, you don't need to run off. You can just talk to me about it, Sweetie.
Starr: Fine. Where is he and why won't you let me see him anymore?
Chad: Um -- Mrs. Manning, I've done -- you know, I’m done packing up the box here. I think this would be a good time for me to go to Break Bar and work out my schedule with Mr. Holden.
Blair: I think that's an excellent idea.
Chad: Super.
Jessica: Yeah, and I'm going to go with Chad, ok?
Blair: Ok.
Jessica: And once again, I'm sorry we intruded.
Blair: Please -- you didn't, and I really do appreciate you bringing Starr here safely to me.
Jessica: Sure. Ok, Starr, listen -- if you want to come back to play or to talk -- whatever -- I would love to have you. Make sure it's ok with your mom first, ok?
Starr: Ok.
Jessica: See you later.
Starr: Bye.
Chad: Let's go.
Blair: Chad, I think Dennis left some employment papers right there on the reception desk. Fill them out and get them back to me, ok?
Chad: Will do.
Blair: I think we just need to, you know, check your citizenship or something like that.
Chad: Ok, no problem. Oh -- Mrs. Manning?
Blair: Hmm?
Chad: Thanks for the job.
Starr: Is he really working here? Or are you two just hanging out because you like him?
Antonio: I was going to come see you once I showered and dressed.
Keri: I guess I beat you to the punch.
Antonio: There has to be a way we can work this out.
Keri: It's all I’ve been thinking about.
Antonio: So you've changed your mind?
Keri: No, I had hoped -- I hoped you had.
Antonio: Keri, I love you.
Keri: I love you, too.
Antonio: So we can't let something like Allison Perkins and Lindsay Rappaport escaping from Statesville break us apart.
Keri: Antonio, don't you understand? Their escaping is not what's breaking us up. They don't matter.
Antonio: I agree. So how do we get back to the way we were?
Keri: It's easy.
Antonio: Just tell me how.
Rex: Yeah, Roxy’s my mom by birth. Anyway, she's your wife. Haven't you seen her?
Max: Well, to tell you the truth, she took off and I'm a little -- you know -- worried.
Rex: You're worried?
Max: Yeah.
Rex: Because Roxy took off? I mean, wouldn't you be more, like, thrilled?
Max: Did you see her or not?
Rex: Not in a while.
Max: But, I mean, you talked to her recently, right?
Rex: Hey, Roxy’s my mom, ok? But do you know how many times she's checked up on me since she left me? Never. So now I don't check up on her, either.
Max: You haven't heard from her?
Rex: You really are worried. Why?
Max: She's missing, that's all.
Rex: Do you think something happened to her?
Roxy: Oh, God. Viki, quick, you got to help me. She escaped from prison. She's been holding me hostage.
Niki: Shut up.
Roxy: Well, she said she's going to kill me.
Niki: Yeah, not a bad idea.
Allison: Don't even move! Don't breathe or you're a dead woman!
Téa: I really wanted it to work.
Ross: So did I. It still could someday. But right now you're still trying to forget about Manning.
Téa: I thought I could just -- look, it's not that I don't find you attractive, ok? I find you very attractive.
Ross: Back at you. But that's not enough, is it? It can't be just chemistry.
Téa: What?
Ross: No, it can't be just chemistry. It used to be that's all I cared about.
Téa: I remember times like that.
Ross: But now, I -- man, I got to get off this island. This is definitely not me.
Téa: Well, maybe you've changed.
Ross: Well, then, you've changed me. Who knows -- maybe we'll go back home, get back to our old lives. What do you think?
Téa: In the meantime, let's focus on getting off this island, ok?
Ross: Yes. Which means, back to work? Yeah? Ok. All right, time to finish that raft, then.
Antonio: I'll do whatever it takes for us to get back together.
Keri: All you have to do is trust me.
Antonio: I do trust you.
Keri: No, you don’t. I told you that R.J. could not have possibly helped those women escape from Statesville prison because he was with me. It was the truth, Antonio, but you didn't believe me.
Antonio: I did believe you. It's R.J. I don't believe.
Keri: It's the same thing.
Antonio: Cops -- we follow our guts. My gut is telling me that R.J. was involved.
Keri: And I'm telling you that he couldn't have been. Our future is in your hands. I want to marry you. I want to have children with you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. But I can't marry a man who doesn't believe in me.
Antonio: I've known him a lot longer than you have.
Keri: Yes, and apparently he has done some horrible things, but not this time. This time he was with me.
Antonio: So his money clip just happened to have been stolen.
Keri: Antonio, I am not lying to you. Believe in me. Believe in us. Call off the investigation of my father.
R.J.: Truce? Oh, I made that offer back when Antonio and Keri first started dating.
Cristian: Is that why you kept trying to break them up?
Carlotta: Cristian, please.
R.J.: Look, we've all done things we regret. I've admitted that I’ve done some pretty lousy things to your sons.
Cristian: Well, yeah. You accused Antonio of murder. You sent a hit man after me, a hit man who almost killed Jen.
Carlotta: Cristian. I told you I would have preferred to come here alone. Por favor?
R.J.: Hmm, I’ll tell you something -- I never realized how much parents could be hurt through their children until I became a father myself. Keri coming into my life has really changed me.
Carlotta: She's a very lovely young lady.
R.J.: Yeah. And because of her -- for her -- I'm doing my best trying to break free of my past.
Cristian: "Trying"?
R.J.: Yes, trying. What do you know about it? I spent my entire life in that world! It's a constant struggle just trying --
Carlotta: I know how hard it is. I know, R.J. I saw Antonio struggle with those same demons when he came out of prison to try to leave the gang life behind. But if a person really wants to, he is able to set himself free.
R.J.: Right, and I have the best motivation in the world right here.
Carlotta: Yes, you do.
R.J.: I just hope it's not too late.
Cristian: And why would it be too late?
Niki: Allison, toots, we played this scene already! The gun ain't loaded. Rae was too scared to put the bullets in it.
Allison: Maybe she was, but I'm not.
Niki: Yeah, right. I'm going to buy that.
Allison: The metal box that this gun was kept in for safekeeping -- that's where she kept the bullets, too. I went back and got them.
Niki: Well, aren't you special.
Allison: Need more proof? Feel free to chew on the couple that are left in there. Come on. Try me. Take another step. What's wrong? Afraid? Why don't you try and strangle me again. I dare you!
Blair: No, Chad is not here because I like him. I'm not "hanging out" with him because I like him. He's here because I hired him as my assistant, and that is it.
Starr: Oh, really?
Blair: Yes, really.
Starr: And he really spilled coffee on his shirt?
Blair: No, actually, I spilled coffee on his shirt, but the result was the same and you know what? He almost got burned.
Starr: You should've taken him to Dr. Troy. He would've fixed him right up.
Blair: Yeah, I bet he would've. But thank goodness he wasn't hurt that badly.
Starr: Are you going to hang around any other bozo?
Blair: No, I think the only bozos that I’m going to hang out with will be you and Jack because I love you so much and you're my family.
Starr: I love you, too, Mom.
Blair: And you know what, when you go running off and go up to Aunt Viki's attic, it makes me sad.
Starr: Why?
Blair: Because it means that you're sad, and the only thing worse than knowing that your little girl is sad is knowing that she doesn't want to talk about it. Sweetie, if something's bothering you, why won't you talk to me?
Starr: Because you decided to forget Dad and I can’t.
Blair: I can't forget about your dad. I never will. But, sweetie, he is gone.
Starr: That's why. You stopped looking for him, and I can't -- not until I find him.
Todd: Ha! She doesn't want anything to do with me. Never did.
Todd: Forget Téa, forget Rayburn. I'm out of here.
Max: You're right, you're right. She's probably holed up in some casino looking for the next sucker to stake her to some chips.
Rex: Well, one thing I know for sure -- wherever she is, she's indestructible. She keeps going and going and going.
Max: Yeah, that's Roxy. Excuse me.
Jessica: Hey.
Rex: Is there any word about your mom?
Jessica: Not yet.
Rex: She's going to be ok.
Jessica: Hope so.
Rex: Seth finished his shift and split. I don't think he knew you were coming by.
Jessica: Yeah, neither did I.
Rex: You want me to get you something?
Jessica: Um -- Chad’s taking care of that. Thank you.
Rex: Well, then, I guess I'd better get back to work.
Jessica: Ok.
Chad: I'm really sorry about that. But, hey, if it helps the police find your mother, well, that's a good thing, right?
Jessica: Yeah. They might find this woman, but I'm not sure if they'll ever find my mom.
Niki: Ahem, ahem --
Allison: What's wrong with big, brave Niki? Afraid you're wrong about the bullets? Afraid I’m really going to shoot you? Is that it, Niki?
Roxy: Niki, Niki? Who the hell is Niki? It's Viki. She's a big shot in town.
Allison: Shut up.
Roxy: Yeah, well, I just thought you ought to know who you're threatening.
Allison: I know exactly who I’m threatening. Viki Davidson is a nut case. She belonged in St. Ann's, not me. She has multiple personalities. She becomes different people.
Roxy: Are you serious?
Allison: She's been Niki Smith for the past five months. She tried to kill Dave -- I mean Ben -- by pushing him out that window.
Niki: Well, you -- you know, hang on a minute now here. See, when I said that to you before, you know, I -- I was just kidding. I was trying to scare you, that's it. Because I really -- I had nothing to do with that. That was Natalie.
Allison: You set Natalie up. You tried to kill him. I figured it out.
Niki: You figured it out wrong.
Allison: Then how come Ben confirmed it?
Niki: What? When? The guy just came out of a coma! He doesn't know what he remembers.
Roxy: Oh, I got it now. You wanted me to help you trick Natalie so you could set her up, and that's why you wanted everyone to know that I saw you getting plants at the nursery -- so you could get yourself an alibi.
Niki: Ok. Uh, ok. You know what? Yeah, I tried to kill Ben, ok? Yeah, you're right. Because he was the only one who could tell the difference me and his precious Viki. But, you know, it didn't work, ok? He's alive, isn't he? He's alive. Viki, on the other hand, is gone -- dead, finished. She ain't never coming back, trust me! And so, Ben -- or Dave, or whatever you want to call him -- he -- he's going to need somebody else in his life, ain't he? You know, he needs somebody to love him and understand him and -- hey, Allison, that's you. You know? That's -- there is no one standing in your way now. You should go to him. You should go to Dave.
Blair: Starr, look, I don't think that your daddy wants to be found.
Starr: Yes, he does. It's like a game, sort of.
Blair: No. Sweetie, it's not a game.
Starr: Yes, it is! He might not want to be found by you, but he wants to be found by me. He really does. I just have to follow the clues.
Blair: Clues? Wait a minute. Why would you think that he would be in Aunt Viki's attic?
Starr: Because that's where he was the first time, when you and Daddy were mad at each other. And Aunt Viki snuck me up there so that I could meet him.
Blair: Hey. It's different this time, ok? Your daddy isn't anywhere near Llanview, Starr.
Starr: How do you know?
Blair: Because I just know.
Starr: Hey, Mom?
Blair: What?
Starr: Where's all Dad's stuff?
Blair: Well, your daddy is not going to be using this office anymore and I am, so I just kind of packed them away.
Starr: You mean you threw them away?
Blair: No, Starr, I didn’t.
Starr: So this is what you and that Chad guy were doing. "Don't open until 2020"?
Blair: Ok, you know what? Starr, that -- that was a really bad joke. That's all.
Starr: You're throwing him away.
Blair: No, I'm not -- I’m not throwing him away --
Starr: Yes, you are! You're throwing him away!
Blair: No, I'm not throwing him away!
Starr: This is why you don't want me to find him, because you're punishing him because he lied to you. That's why you're keeping us apart.
Blair: No, Starr, you listen to me. I am not doing that, all right? If your daddy were anywhere near Llanview, I would not keep him from seeing you. You've got to believe me on that.
Starr: Really?
Blair: Yes, Baby, really. Your daddy found you at Aunt Viki's attic, right? And then he found you in Hawaii, even though we went all that way.
Starr: With bodyguards.
Blair: Please, Sweetie, I promise you I would not keep your daddy from you. And I couldn't stop him from seeing you.
Téa: Where's the raft?
Ross: Why would Manning move the raft? Who does he think he is?
Téa: You -- you don't think he --
Ross: You're damn right I do. I'm going to kill him.
Téa: Well, he's not out there that I can see.
Ross: It's not even finished. That thing's not going to be strong enough. All right, let's track him. Which way did he go?
Téa: Ross, wait. I don't think -- I mean, I think he'd take me with him.
Ross: Yeah, well, don't count on it, especially if he saw us kissing.
Téa: He might've. He might've.
Ross: No, my guess is he went to the bunker first to get his stuff. Come on. Maybe we can catch him and kill him over there.
Téa: Ross, wait, wait. I can't be sure, but I think if he did see us, he'd go there.
Ross: Where we just were? All right, fine, fine. You know that sick mind better than I do. Let's go.
Téa: No, I have to go alone.
Ross: Why?
Téa: It has to be just -- just me. Ok?
Ross: Then go. But I'm checking the bunker.
Téa: Ok.
R.J.: I just hope that it's not too late to mend any problems between our two families. Please, have a seat.
Carlotta: R.J., that's what we're here for.
R.J.: Well, that's what you say. But Antonio’s on the rampage again. He's intent on proving that I had something to do with helping Lindsay escape from prison. Now, that hardly makes for a cozy blending of the Gannons and Vegas, does it?
Cristian: If Antonio thinks you're involved, R.J., then you can bet he has a pretty good reason.
R.J.: Well, that's very rational and impartial of you, Cristian.
Carlotta: Oh, R.J., please. My son is a good cop. And he's a great detective. If he's investigating you, it's because it's his job.
R.J.: No matter what his crusade does to Keri?
Carlotta: I'm sure that Keri wouldn't respect my son if he shirked his responsibilities to his job for her sake.
R.J.: Well, if he keeps it up, he will do something that neither of us could. He's going to break them up.
Cristian: Oh, come on, R.J., it's not Antonio’s fault if Keri’s finally having to see you for what you really are.
Carlotta: That's right. If you're innocent, you have nothing to worry about, R.J. Eventually, Keri will see that my son was just doing what the taxpayers pay him to do.
R.J.: What, hounding his fiancee's father for --
Carlotta: But if, on the other hand, you were involved and you haven't changed and you're hiding behind Keri and her relationship to Antonio to keep from getting arrested, well, then God have mercy on you because that would be the most unforgivable crime that you've committed to date.
R.J.: If I’d known you were going to give a sermon, I wouldn't have opened the door. I thought you came here for a truce.
Carlotta: So did I.
Cristian: If you were involved in this prison break, R.J., Antonio's going to find out. And when he does -- well, I think Keri’s going to hate you for the rest of your life.
Antonio: You -- you want me to call off the investigation?
Keri: Just the part that involves R.J.
Antonio: I -- I can't do that. It's my job, Keri. I mean, what kind of cop would I be if I didn't follow up evidence that places him at the scene?
Keri: A terrible one, if you didn't also have a completely reliable witness who placed him somewhere else when the breakout was happening!
Antonio: We found his money clip at the escape site.
Keri: He told you someone had stolen it from him.
Antonio: Something isn't right here, Keri. I have to follow it up. It's not just the money clip. R.J. and Lindsay have known each other for a long time. He was there shortly before the escape!
Keri: He was visiting her so he could finalize the purchase of her art gallery.
Antonio: We have phone records that -- it doesn't matter, does it? It doesn't matter how much evidence I have. It doesn't matter if I have a video with -- with R.J. escorting Lindsay and Allison out of Statesville! It's not enough!
Keri: Antonio, you will never find a video like that because he didn't do it.
Antonio: Then let the investigation prove that.
Keri: It's not an investigation. It's a witch hunt! I've done my research, Antonio. You have been hell-bent on proving my father is a criminal since the day you became a cop. And you're not going to stop until you do, whether the evidence is there to back it up or not.
Antonio: Because I know him. You look at him through a daughter's eyes, but he's not the man you want him to be, Keri. He's not even close!
Keri: I was with him the night of the breakout, Antonio. I was there with him. That should be enough for you or for anyone else. I teach criminology. I know what constitutes evidence, Antonio. We were watching a TV show about wedding etiquette, and we were laughing. You know why? Because I'd already broken about a dozen rules -- not sending out the invitations soon enough, the wording of the invitations, not having a formal announcement. But I knew none of that mattered because I loved you so much. Antonio, I am begging you -- if you love me, if you love us, call off this investigation. Save what we have. Please.
Antonio: I can't do that.
Max: It wouldn't hurt to find out if she's ok.
[Answering machine beeps]
Roxy’s voice: This is Mrs. "Max-a-million" Holden, but I'm too busy "Holden" my hubby to answer the phone, so leave a message.
[Answering machine beeps]
Chad: What are you talking about, Jess? How can the police find your mother and not find your mother?
Jessica: I know. I know, it's complicated. I'm sorry. I should not be bothering you with my problems.
Chad: No, no, no. No, you're not bothering me. You helped Starr out. I'll help you out. It's that whole, you know, circle of life thing -- hakuna banana?
Jessica: No, hakuna matata.
Chad: Whatever -- I don't -- ok. There we go. Good. Now tell me what's bothering you.
Jessica: My mom has D.I.D.
Chad: What is that?
Jessica: It's like split personalities. Yeah. Supposedly, she was cured years ago. But it came back. So for the past four or five months -- I don't know -- she's been somebody completely different. She's been this wild, crazy woman named Niki Smith, who's been pretending to be my mom.
Chad: Of course.
Jessica: What?
Chad: It's nothing.
Jessica: No. Come on, Chad. If it's about my mom, I deserve to know.
Chad: Ok. I had a couple of run-ins with Niki Smith. I don't know -- first I thought it was Mrs. Davidson on drugs or something, but -- this would explain it.
Jessica: Explain what?
Chad: It was here, the first time, that she sort of --
Jessica: Flirted with you?
Chad: Yeah, yeah, well, I was going to say, "came on" to me, but -- yeah. And then she sort of offered me an internship at "The Banner." Really weird.
Jessica: Ok. And then what happened the next time?
Chad: God, no. The next time was even weirder. I stopped by her house, ok, to drop off some notes from sociology class, and the door was open and I heard this really loud music from the inside. So I kind of let myself in and walked in on your mother.
Jessica: You walked in on her?
Chad: She was dressed like -- crazy, like in these really tight clothes, ok, and she was dancing and she was drinking beer and -- well, she tried to tell me she was doing some underground work for "The Banner," something -- some sort of story. Something about the rave scene.
Jessica: What? The rave scene?
Chad: I -- I don't know. And then she brought up the whole internship thing again. Said I could help her out somehow. Jess, I -- I’m really sorry about all this.
Jessica: No, don't be. It's ok. I mean, oh, God, it's not ok; it's awful. I can't -- I can't imagine what you must have thought.
Chad: Well, mostly that I was glad that she wasn't my mother, unless -- I'm just glad to hear that she wasn't yours, also.
Niki: Hey, you know I'm right, don't you? Dave needs you. You know, what are you waiting for?
Allison: You tried to kill him.
Niki: Yeah, well, that's because I thought I didn't have a choice. Now I realize I do. I can just let you have him.
Allison: He doesn't love me. The only woman he'll ever love is Viki.
Niki: But Viki's gone! She ain't never, ever coming back. You can -- you can really trust me on that. And, you know, he needs somebody else. He really does. I mean, he told me once that he cares about you.
Allison: That's a lie! Even if Viki never comes back, Dave will never love me. You, get in the trunk. You, untie her.
Roxy: What do I do?
Niki: Whatever she says, Honey. She got the gun. There you go.
Roxy: Hey, you know, I'm a little claustrophobic.
Allison: Don't worry. You won't even notice it.
Niki: Ugh. Uh, so where are you going to put me?
Allison: Right next to me in the front seat. You may be Niki Smith on the inside, but you're Victoria Lord Buchanan Davidson on the outside. And that's all that Ben and the police are going to see. And they won't risk anything happening to you. See, you'd make a much better hostage for me than Roxy could ever have been.
Niki: You know what, I’m not so sure about that because a lot of people -- they're starting to question who I am. Ben's one of them.
Allison: Upstairs.
Niki: Yeah, yeah, sure. Ok. Like I said, you got the gun. But not for long!
[Allison screams]
Keri: You have to do what you have to do. And so do I.
Antonio: It's my job.
Niki: Let go! Let go!
Allison: No way!
[Allison screams]
Niki: Give me the gun! Give me the gun! Give me the gun! Give me the gun! Give me the gun! Give me the --
[Gunshot]
Niki: Aah!
Max: Nora, it's -- it's me again. I called earlier. Please call me. Roxy's left the marital house, and I want to get this divorce thing going before she gets tired of whatever she's doing or whoever she's with, all right? I called the court. They said they could schedule the proceeding tomorrow. Let me know if you can make it. Whether you can or not, I got to get on this thing right away.
Chad: It's good to see you smile.
Jessica: Yeah.
Chad: Yeah.
Jessica: Ok -- um -- I'm going to go. Good luck with your internship, ok?
Chad: Oh, sure. Are you going to be ok?
Jessica: Yes, I am. Thank you for the coffee.
Chad: Ah --
Jessica: And thanks for listening.
Chad: Yeah. No, it's no big deal. Any time. And I hope you get your mother back real soon -- you know, the real her.
Jessica: Yeah. Good luck at "The Sun."
Chad: Yeah, yeah.
Jessica: You know, it's not "The Banner," but --
Chad: Yeah, well --
Jessica: You'll like Blair. She's really cool. I hope everything works out for you, ok?
Chad: I -- I hope everything works out, too.
Blair: Listen, Sweetie -- I promise you, I would never keep your daddy from seeing you.
Starr: Even to get him back for the time that he wouldn't let me see you?
Blair: Well, especially because of that. Because I know how much that hurts.
Starr: So you don't know where Dad is?
Blair: No, no, and I know how much you love him. And I know how much he loves you. And I would never, ever want you to hurt like that. And, no, I don't know where your daddy is. I wish that I did. I don’t. You know what, Aunt Viki doesn't know. Sam doesn't know, the police don't know.
Starr: But he -- he's going to come back. So maybe -- you know, because he always comes back. So maybe we, you know, shouldn't throw his stuff away.
Blair: You know, Starr, when I -- look, listen -- it's really hard for me to pack up all of your daddy's things. You know that? But I can't just walk around this office and everywhere I turn, I'm reminded of him.
Starr: But you just can't throw them away.
Blair: I won’t. I wasn't going to. I was just going to pack them away someplace safe.
Starr: Until Dad comes back?
Blair: Yeah, or until you or Jack want them, ok?
Starr: So if you knew where Daddy was, you'd let me see him, right?
Blair: Oh, I promise you, Baby, I would. I promise.
Starr: Mom?
Blair: What, Babe?
Starr: I don't know when, but some day -- it may not be soon -- some day, Dad is going to come back. I know it.
Téa: Todd, no! Please don't go! Todd, don't go!
