One Life to Live Transcript Monday 7/8/02 By Linda >> Previously on "One Life to Live" -- Allison: He was secretly saying he wants me to bust out of here so we could be together forever. Blair: I knew that she still cared for Sam and she just doesn't want to admit it. Jessica: I know what you did, Natalie, and I'm going to make sure everyone else knows, too. Cristian: That's enough. Ross: Todd, it's a military map. I know where we are. *********************************************** Mrs. Sharp: Knock it off, Tillie. Tillie: Aw, that was just a love pat. Lindsay: Why do you hate me? I've never done anything to you. Tillie: Oh, sure you have. I have to see you every day, don't I? Lindsay: I can't help it that I'm in here. Tillie: Oh, right. You couldn't have done anything wrong. Lindsay la-di-da Rappaport. You were too busy going to lunch and getting your hair done. Lindsay: It wasn't exactly like that. Tillie: Oh, right. And I'm Victoria Lord Davidson. Lindsay: You don't know anything about me. Tillie: I know everything about you. Lindsay: Come on, Tillie -- Tillie: Yeah. And just for being who you are, I'm going to hate you until the day we both die. We are both going to die in here. You know that, don't you? Mrs. Sharp: Come on, Tillie. You've had your fun. Tillie: Yeah, right. Nighty-night, ladies. Lindsay: Hey, Allison. Look, I made you something in art therapy. Did you know that I was an artist? Allison: What is it? Lindsay: It's two hearts intertwined. Allison: Why would I want this? Lindsay: It represents you and Dave. I made it for you to carry through the tunnels on your way to Dave and freedom. Allison: Are you crazy? I can't escape. What kind of nut job do you think I am? *********************************************** Natalie: You're the only one -- the only one who believes in me. Cristian: You don't have to worry because I'm never going to stop. Natalie: Jen. Al: Yes, I am still in love with Jen, and, yes, I am going to get back with her. Gabrielle: Please don't do this to yourself. Al: Don't do what? Make myself happy? Gabrielle: This girl is in love with someone else. And believe me, I know what it's like to try and make someone love you. Al: Just because it didn't work out for you doesn't mean it's not going to work for me. Gabrielle: It's not going to work for you, either. It's going to cause pain. I don't want you in pain. Al: But I'm not in pain, Mom. I feel great. Wonderful, even. Gabrielle: Yeah, right now you do. Al: No, always. You see, when I look at Jen, I know what real love is. Gabrielle: What you think it is. Al: No, no. Before, maybe, yes. But now, no. Gabrielle: You have no idea what real love is like. Al: Well, that's just the thing. I do. Finally, I get it. You know, I always thought that being in love was about making the other person fall in love with you, about getting what you wanted from that person. Gabrielle: Where on earth would you get that idea from? Al: Where do you think? Gabrielle: Al, I love you. I've always loved you more than anything in the whole world. Max -- your father loves you. Come on. Sit. You can't be serious about this. We love you. You don't think we want something in return from you. *********************************************** [Phone rings] Troy: Hello. Blair: Troy. Troy: Blair? Blair: Yeah, it's me. Look, I'm sorry to bother you. I just wanted to make sure you were coming over tonight. Troy: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I'm on my way now. Blair: You know, I -- I don't mean to bother you. It's just that Starr -- she's just been so upset about her daddy. Troy: No, it's ok. I'm just -- I'm just waiting for Nora. Blair: Nora? Nora is coming with you? Troy: Yeah. Why? Is that a problem? Blair: No -- not specifically, but -- Troy: But what? Blair: Well, it's, you know, Starr. She is so used to getting everything that she wants, and she really, really, really wants to see you alone, and -- look, I know that she's spoiled, but I hate to say no to her, you know, just right now. Troy: Uh -- yeah, ok. Ok. Blair: Oh, thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much. Troy: No, not a problem. I -- I'll see you in a little bit. Excuse me, Miss. Woman: What can I get you, Dr. MacIver? Troy: Well, can I get a cup of coffee to go, please? Woman: Just one? Troy: Yeah, just one. Woman: Give you a deal -- buy one, get one free, hmm? Troy: No, one'll be fine, thank you. Woman: Then what am I going to drink, hmm? Nora: You can have some of mine. Make that two coffees to go on me. One more minute, she was going to be licking latte off your chest. Troy: Who, the clerk? Nora: Oh, please. Tell me you didn't notice. Troy: I don't know. I guess I didn't. *********************************************** Sam: Hey. Blair: Hey. Sam: Hi. Blair: How are you doing, Matthew? Hi, Sam. Matthew: Is Starr ready for our play date? Blair: She should be down in a minute. But look what I have here. Got a whole bowl of them over there. Would you like some? Sam: Sure, go ahead. Blair: How are you and how's Ben? Is -- any change? Sam: No, he's still in a coma. Blair: Oh, no. Sam: But he's -- he's stabilizing. Blair: Well, that's good. Sam: Yeah, yeah. For now. Blair: Is there anything that I can do for you, Sam? Sam: You've already been a good friend. Blair: Well, I'm going to be a better one. Matthew: When's Starr coming? Blair: I don't know. She should be here any minute. Let me go yell at her. Hey, Starr! What's keeping you, Sweetie? Come on. Here she comes. Starr: I'm not going! *********************************************** Ross: I know where we are. Todd: Yeah, I -- I heard you the first time. So, how long before I get out of here? Téa: How -- how close is the nearest island? Ross: We're on a small atoll -- Todd: No, not atoll. Ross: Southwest of Hawaii. Todd: How far southwest? How far southwest? Ross: Somewhere near the equator. Todd: Oh, that's great. So when you're -- is that anywhere near Hawaii? Téa: Ross, I think we need to know -- is there any chance of anybody finding us? Todd: How far is the nearest island? Téa: Ross? Ross: Ok, ok. I'm just going to come right out and say it. We are nowhere near anyone or anything. *********************************************** Blair: Don't you want to play with Matthew? Starr: It's going to be just like the last time. Blair: Well, what do you mean, Sweetie? Starr: Just like the babysitter when she was talking about you and Jack and Daddy. Blair: Well, Sam is not going to say anything about what your daddy did, ok? Starr: What if he finds out? Blair: He already knows. Starr: You know that my dad told us that the baby was dead when he was really alive? Sam: Yeah, I do. Starr: Do you hate my dad? Sam: Well, I'm pretty angry at him. Starr: Me, too. Sam: But I don't hate him. Starr: I do, and so does my mom. Sam: Are you sure about that? Starr: I don't lie. Sam: I know you don't, Starr. But I also know you're pretty angry with him right now. But I don't think you hate him, and I don't think your mother does, either. I think your daddy hurt you and your mother. And I think the reason he could do that is because you both love him a lot. *********************************************** Troy: Nora, I don't even see these other women. Nora: Well, then you need to get your eyes checked. Troy: Well, now, why would I want to do that as long as I can see you -- an amazing woman who loves egg rolls, who can't stand to -- to -- Nora: To jog? Troy: Yeah. Nora: Well -- Troy: Can't stand to jog. She hates driving, but -- Nora: No -- Troy: We won't hold that against her -- Nora: Oh -- Troy: Because you know why? Because she makes me so happy that both my arms could fall off and I wouldn't even notice for a week. Nora: A week? Troy: Well, ok, maybe two. Nora: Whoa. Troy: Look, Nora -- yeah, I know there's other women out there, but they're not you. And you are the only woman that matters to me. Nora: Wow. Troy: You like that? Nora: That's good. Troy: Yeah? Nora: That's good. So when are we having dinner? What -- where are we going? Troy: Actually, I can't have dinner with you tonight. Nora: That's not good. Troy: No. Nora: Why not? Troy: Well, because I have a date. Woman: Dr. MacIver, coffee's ready. Troy: I'll be right back. *********************************************** Gabrielle: Al, please, don't make Jen the answer to the love that you didn't get. Al: Mom, she is. She is the answer. Gabrielle: No, she's not the answer! Al: Look, she is the answer! I don't want to talk about it anymore! Gabrielle: No, she isn't, Al! Al: Listen, when I had my accident, she was there for me. She dropped everything. She put me first. Gabrielle: It just seemed that way. Al: No, it's the truth, ok? She put me first. She -- she dropped everything for me. She loved me. Nobody had ever done that before. She's -- she's it, Mom. She's the real thing. *********************************************** Cristian: Jen, hey. Look, I'm sorry. I meant to call you, but -- Jen: Yeah. So much for the boat ride, huh? Cristian: Well, your uncle's been in a really bad accident. Jen: I know. I heard. This must be really hard for you, huh, since he's your step dad? Natalie: Yeah. Jen: Sorry. Natalie: I guess it's pretty hard for you, too. Jen: Yeah. I mean, I haven't known him that long, but he is my dad's brother. So, how did it happen? Cristian: We're still trying to figure that out. Jen: What do you mean? Cristian: Well, Ben was -- well, he fell -- or was pushed -- through a second-story window -- Jen: He was pushed? Who would push him? Cristian: Well, the commissioner is investigating that right now. Natalie: I've got to go. Jen: You have to go right now? Natalie: Yeah, I -- I want to go check on Ben. Cristian: You sure you're ok? Natalie: Fine. Jen: I just can't believe this happened. I mean, one minute everything's fine, and then -- Cristian: He's going to be ok, Jen. I know he will. Jen: Yeah, I hope so, but -- Cristian: But what? Jen: Well, how did you get involved in all this? Cristian: Because of Natalie. *********************************************** Lindsay: I've been dreaming about breaking out of this place and being with my family. I want to see my daughter. Allison: What does this have to do with me? Lindsay: Well, you said you wanted to break out of here and you know the secret way out. Allison: Too bad. I'm not going, and neither are you. Lindsay: What about Dave? Allison: What about him? Lindsay: I thought you said you wanted to see him again. Allison: I did. Lindsay: So, what happened? Allison: I had some time to think about what he said at his visit. Lindsay: I thought he told you that he wanted you to break out. I mean, you said he was speaking in code, but that's what he said. Allison: I know. But now I'm not so sure. Lindsay: Why? Allison: Because all he really said is that I should be nicer to people -- especially Viki. Lindsay: Well, that must mean something. Maybe he meant to people on the outside. Allison: It doesn't matter. Even if it did, Dave is still Ben. Lindsay: So? Allison: So Ben lives with Viki, and Viki hates me, and Viki'll call the cops, and I'll wind up back here again. Lindsay: Allison -- Allison: Don't you understand? I have no place to go. Lindsay: We'll find you a place. Allison: Oh, who's going to want to hide me? Who's going to want to keep me safe? Lindsay: We'll find you someone. Allison: No, we won't. I'm not going. Lindsay: Allison, you can't think like that. Allison: And if you ever mention escaping again, I'm going to make sure they put you in a cell with Tillie! Lindsay: Allison? Allison: Shut up. Lindsay: I just want to ask you a question. Allison: If it's about escaping -- Lindsay: It's not. It's about you. Allison: What about me? Lindsay: Where did you live before you were arrested? Allison: In a motel. Lindsay: You lived in a motel with your friend Roxanne? Allison: Roxy is not my friend. She was just my meal ticket. And if you think I would live with her -- Lindsay: Where'd you live before that? Allison: Before that, I lived in St. Ann's. Lindsay: And before that? Allison: Other institutions. And before that, I was in a coma! And when I woke up, I was all alone! Lindsay: I'm sorry. Allison: I don't have any friends. I don't have anyone. I don't have anywhere to go. Happy? But, no, this isn't about escaping. Lindsay: Allison, what if I keep you with me when we escape? Allison: You'd have to. I'm the only one who knows the way out. Lindsay: No, I mean when we're on the outside, what if I promised to keep you safe and take care of everything until you can figure out a way to be with Dave? What if I promised to be your friend on the outside? *********************************************** Jen: Natalie? Cristian: Well, I was on my way to see you when I went by Llanfair and I saw this ambulance leaving, so I thought I should stop and see what's going on. Jen: And you saw Natalie? Cristian: Yeah. Jen, she was freaked out. They were taking your uncle to the hospital. The commissioner was there. I don't know. I just thought I should be there. Jen: Yeah, well, that's -- that's really nice that you were there to take care of her with all this going on. Cristian: Yeah, I didn't think I should leave her alone. Jen: No, of course not. Cristian: What was that supposed to mean? Jen: Nothing. Ok, it just seems she's freaked out a lot lately. Cristian: What do you mean? Jen: Well, you saw how -- I told you how she ran away from me and she pushed me down in the potting shed. Remember that? Cristian: She said she didn't do that. Jen: No, exactly. She keeps saying that, but I saw her, Cristian. Cristian: Look, Jen, I know that day was a little weird, but -- Jen: When I just came in here, I heard her say that you're the only one who believes in her. Cristian: I know. Jen: What does that mean? Cristian: Natalie just doesn't have a lot of friends. Jen: She lies, Cristian. Cristian: Jen -- Jen: What is it you believe about her? That she didn't run away from me? Cristian: No. No, it's not about that. Jen: Then what? How do you believe Natalie, Cristian? Natalie: Do you still believe me that I didn't push Ben out that window, even now that you know that I was in that room? Cristian: Look, Natalie, I don't know what happened. But what I do know is that you didn't have anything to do with that. Natalie: You're the only one -- the only one that believes me. *********************************************** Gabrielle: Al, what is it? Al: It's nothing. I have to leave. Gabrielle: Is it about Jen? Al: No, it's Jessica. I have to call her right away. Gabrielle: Could you wait a minute? Al: No, I have to go, now. Gabrielle: There's something that I need to say to you. Al: What? Gabrielle: All right, look -- I wish I didn't have to say this to you, but -- but -- Al: Just say it. Gabrielle: All right! Jen was with you because she felt responsible because you couldn't walk. Al: Not true, ok? I gave her every opportunity to leave, and she didn't. She stayed. Gabrielle: Al, you didn't tell her about your recovery. How come you kept lying to her about -- Al: I don't know! I wish I had told her the truth! I wish I'd listened to you! If I hadn't lied to her, I'd probably still be with her today! Gabrielle: You're wrong. You're deluding yourself. Al: No, no, ok? I can make it up to her. Gabrielle: No, you can't. Al: Look, I can love her the way she loved me, the way nobody ever loved me -- especially not you. *********************************************** Nora: So, who is she? Who's my rival? And it's not beneath me to fight for you, you know? Troy: Oh, yeah? You're sure about that? Nora: Oh, yeah. Absolutely. I -- I'd never back down from a challenge. Troy: Oh, well, you may want to see her first. Nora: Really? Troy: Uh-huh. Nora: Hmm. So, what is she, a female wrestler, something like that, huh? Troy: No. Nora: Marine drill sergeant? Troy: No. Nora: A karate queen? Troy: No, no, no, no -- Nora: Come on, come on. Troy: But she is smart, she's funny -- Nora: Yeah? Troy: And she's not afraid to capture a poisonous spider if she has to. Nora: Starr Manning? Troy: Starr Manning. Yeah, she was a little hurt by her father disappearing, so -- Nora: Well, what child wouldn't be? I mean, even Todd's. Troy: Yeah. Well, I figure I'd stop by and see if I couldn't cheer her up. Nora: Ok. You are an incredible man. You know that? No, really. Troy: What? Nora: You're incredibly good-looking. You're a doctor. Beautiful women throw themselves at you all the time. You should be the world's biggest jerk. Troy: And instead I'm just a little jerk. Nora: No, instead you're not a jerk at all. There's a little girl needs you, and you go to her. It's just -- it's -- you're wonderful. Troy: Well, I don't know about that. Nora: Yeah. Troy: Thank you, but, I mean, Starr saved my life. And besides, you know what? I kind of like her. Nora: Yeah. Me, too. Troy: Good. So you're ok with this, huh? Nora: Yeah. Besides, actually, it'll give me a chance to stop off and see Sam and make sure he's ok. Troy: Right. Yeah, I -- I mean, I just -- I really hope that his brother pulls through. Nora: Yeah. You don't have a problem with me stopping off and seeing Sam, do you? Troy: No. No, no, no, no, no. Oh, no. Nora: All right. Troy: Believe me, my jealous days are long over. Nora: Hey -- look both ways when you're crossing the street. You never know where a beautiful woman's going to come out of. They're everywhere. Troy: I'll do that. Bye. Nora: Bye. *********************************************** Blair: Starr, I am so angry at your daddy right now, I can't even think about loving him. Starr: I'm glad we got new guards. Sam: Why? Starr: To keep Daddy away. I like it with just Mommy and Jack and me. Matthew: I like it when my mommy and my daddy are together. Can Mommy come over tonight? Sam: No, it's just you and me tonight. Matthew: But I miss Mommy. Sam: Well, I know, I know, but we're going to have some fun tonight. Know what we're going to do? Matthew: Go to Pizza Barn. Sam: Don't you want to do that? Matthew: I wish mommy could come, too. I liked it better when you and Mommy could both come to Pizza Barn. Sam: I know. Blair: Sam, I just wish I could make this right for you. Sam: Hey, don't worry about it. We're going to be fine, ok? You going to be ok with just yourself and Jack? Blair: Oh, you don't have to worry about me. I'll have my hands full here. But, look, Sam is still our friend, and he knows everything that Daddy did, and he still likes us. Starr: Yeah, I guess. Blair: He's always going to be nice to us, even though he knows what daddy did. Starr: I can't wait till Jack's Matthew's size. Blair: Really? Starr: Mm-hmm. Then I can boss him around. Sam: Ok. Call me if you need me. Blair: I will. Sam: Come on, let's go. Starr: Come on, Matthew. Blair: Starr, you be good. Starr: All right. Sam: Hey, Matthew, you want to drive? *********************************************** Todd: Ok, so you know where we are but where we are is nowhere? Ross: That's about it, yeah. Téa: Ok, wait. Ross, we're somewhere southwest of Hawaii, so that means someone eventually has to end up here. Ross: Sure. Yeah, sure, count on it. Count on it. The world's a lot smaller place than it used to be. Plus, you know, there's going to be a lot of people who want to know where a good-looking woman like tea Delgado went. Todd: Give me that. Ross: Hey, hey, hey, careful, all right? Todd: Yeah, careful with -- it matters what this -- all it does say is that we're a million miles from nowhere, so what do you care? Ross: Yeah, well, it could be useful, all right? Maybe it'll help us figure out weather patterns or -- [Todd mocks Ross] Ross: All right, look, we just need something, all right? Careful, careful, all right? It's fragile. Téa: Oh! Todd: Careful? What, like you were careful when you steered the boat into the middle of a storm! Téa: Todd, stop it! Todd: What kind of an idiot steers a boat into the center of a storm? Téa: Todd -- Todd: We were supposed to be going to the cove! Téa: Ross is not responsible for us being here. Todd: No. He's just the one who steered the boat to the center of a storm! Ross: All right, all right, all right, I thought I was heading in the right direction. Todd: No, you didn't. You were running -- you were running away, weren't you? You were running from somebody, weren't you? And it turned out to be the wrong move... One of the men killed in that airport shooting on the fourth of July.... Will be buried *********************************************** Allison: You promise you'll be my friend? You promise? Lindsay: Yes, I will. Allison: Ah, you're worse than I thought. Lindsay: Why? Allison: All you want is revenge on that man who said he'd marry you. You'll say anything to get out of here. Lindsay: That isn't true. Allison: Oh, yeah. How are you going to get us a safe place on the outside? Lindsay: Because I know people. Allison: Oh, you know people, huh? Well, I bet they hate you as much as -- as they hate me, probably more. Lindsay: I have someone on the outside that owes me a favor. Allison: Oh, and they're going to help me, too? Lindsay: Yes. Allison: What kind of idiot do you think I am? Lindsay: I want to help you, Allison. Allison: Why? Lindsay: Because you're my friend. Allison: Yeah, right. Lindsay: You are, and you're going to be fine because I'm going to take care of you. Allison: Mrs. Sharp! Lindsay: Allison, come on. Allison: Mrs. Sharp! Lindsay: Come on, come on. Allison: I want Lindsay moved into a cell with Tillie! Lindsay: No! Allison: Move her right now! Lindsay: Do you have any idea what's going to happen if you have me moved out of this cell? You are going to wake up alone like you did when you came out of that coma. Now, I am your friend. I was your friend before I even thought you could get us out of here. And even if you don't, I will still be your friend. Mrs. Sharp: What is it, Allie? Rappaport bothering you? *********************************************** Ross: Back off. I was heading for the cove -- Todd: You were headed out to sea. Ross: At least I thought I was, and I didn't run us into that storm. That storm ran into us. Téa: Ok. Todd, Ross did the best he could. Todd: No, tea, you don't understand. He didn't have to steer the boat out into the middle of the sea, but he did. Why'd you do that, huh? Ross: I thought -- I -- Todd: You didn't think anything. You were running away. You were scared. You saw something that spooked you -- no, no, no. You saw somebody that spooked you. Ross: I'm not going to sit around here and entertain your fantasies. Téa: Ok, Todd -- Ross: Ain't doing it. Téa: If we are going to play the blame game, we're the ones responsible for Ross being here, not the other way around. Todd: No, not my fault. Téa: If you'll remember correctly, you were trying to kidnap your kids. I was trying to stop you from doing that. Ross just got stuck driving the boat. Todd: Get out. Téa: None of that matters right now. Now we are on a deserted island and we have to figure out how to survive. Todd: Well, I'll tell you what -- you and Mr. Military map reading guy, you can go do that, but get out of my bunker. Ross: What? Todd: Get out of my bunker. You're the reason that I lost my kids and you're the reason that I'm stuck here, so you are not welcome in my bunker! Now, get out! *********************************************** [Blair gasps] Blair: Oh, my gosh -- Dr. Troy. Troy: Blair, hey. How's Starr doing? Blair: Oh, come in, come in. I am so sorry. I -- oh, I should've called you. Troy: Why? Is something wrong? Blair: Oh, no, it's nothing like that. It's just that -- Starr had a play date. Troy: Oh. Oh, well, that's good. I mean, that's good. That means she's doing better, then. Blair: Well, yeah, at least for tonight, but I'm so sorry. I should've called. Troy: No, please, Blair, believe me, it's fine. I'm just -- I'm just glad that she's getting over the whole Todd thing, you know? Blair: Yeah, well, we're all kind of getting over the Todd thing. Troy: Well -- well, I -- I better get going because it looks like you got some plans, so -- Blair: Oh, ok. See you later. Troy: You ok? Something wrong? Blair: Oh, no. I'll be fine. Troy: Blair, are you sure? Blair: Yeah, you know what? I've -- I've just imposed on you way too much. Troy: Oh, come on. Hey, really. What's wrong? Tell me. Blair: Starr's not here -- would you mind staying just a little while? Troy: Uh -- Blair: I'm just so down. Sometimes I don't even know if I can get through it. I -- please don't go. *********************************************** Allison: Yes, Lindsay's bothering me. Mrs. Sharp: You want me to do something about that? You want me to move her in with Tillie? Allison: No. I was just mad at her for a little minute. Mrs. Sharp: Are you sure? Allison: Yeah, I'm feeling much better now. Mrs. Sharp: All right. You change your mind, you just let me know, and Lindsay will be out of your hair forever. Allison: I said no. Mrs. Sharp: All right. Whatever you say. Lindsay: We are friends. Allison: I guess. Lindsay: I don't mind staying here in prison if that's what you really think we should do. Allison: Can you really find someone who can help us on the outside? Lindsay: Yes. Allison: And all you'd have to do is call? Lindsay: That's right. I could. But I don't want to do that if you think all I'm doing is using you. Because a friend wouldn't do that. Allison: You're right. They wouldn't. Lindsay: But I could borrow your cell phone and make one eensy-teensy little call and we'd have someone waiting for us on the outside. Allison: That's all you'd have to do? Lindsay: Mm-hmm. Someone who would make sure that we don't get caught and someone who could give us everything we need. Allison: Just because they owe you? Lindsay: That's right. But, you know, I could stay in here on the inside with you and just be your friend because, the truth be told, my family will probably come and visit me. And who knows? You know, maybe -- I don't know -- maybe Dave will come visit you again someday. You think about it. *********************************************** Max: Yes, I'm married to Roxanne, and, yes, I know how funny it is. Gabrielle: Yeah, it's hilarious. Only I've got more things to worry about than your pathetic marriage. Max: Since when? Gabrielle: You know, if you had time to take a break from your own problems -- Max: Mm-hmm. Gabrielle: Then perhaps you'd have time to notice your son's. Max: How can I not notice my son? He lives with me. What do you want me to do, chain him to my leg? Gabrielle: Heaven knows what else goes on over there. Max: He's trying to help me get rid of Roxanne -- not that it's working -- Gabrielle: Oh, you are unbelievable. Max: What, what? Gabrielle: You really are. You never put him first, do you? Max: How the hell would you know what I do? Gabrielle: It's all right, Max. It's ok. You don't need to get defensive because I never did, either. That's why he is the way he is. Max: What do you mean? Gabrielle: You know what I mean. Max: No, I don't know what you mean. And why are you saying this now? What, is there something wrong with Al? *********************************************** Cristian: Jen, Natalie's going through a rough time right now. Jen: "A rough time"? Cristian: Yes. She's worried about Dr. Davidson. You know, she doesn't have a lot of family. Jen: And that's all this is about? Cristian: Yeah. That's all. Look, I'm going to go see how he's doing. Jen: And how Natalie's doing? Cristian: Yeah. Yeah, her, too. Jen: Cristian, please just tell me what's going on. Cristian: We'll talk about it later. Al: Jen. Hey. Have you seen Jessica? I just got a message from her about your uncle, actually. Jen: No. I don't know where Jessica is. Al: Are you ok? What is it? What happened? *********************************************** Troy: Blair, I know that everything with Todd was really rough on you, but, believe me, you're doing a great job holding up. Blair: Well, I don't really have a choice. I have two children. And, you know, Starr -- how upset she's been -- I -- I never saw this coming. I probably should've, you know, being married to Todd. But when I married him, I was -- I was so happy. I never thought that I'd be raising two kids alone. Troy: Well, listen, Blair, if you ever need any help, please, I just -- Blair: Oh, no, it's not that. Sometimes I think I can't eat or sleep or make decisions. You know -- I'm so sorry. I shouldn't be -- Troy: No, no. Blair: Dumping all this on you. Troy: Come on, no. Seriously, it's fine, believe me. I understand. Really. Oh, hey, come here. It's ok. Come here. It's ok. It's ok. Blair: It feels so -- Troy: It's just going to take time. Blair: Good to be in your arms. *********************************************** Gabrielle: Al is lonely. Terribly lonely. Max: He is? Gabrielle: Haven't you noticed? Max: I thought he was doing a great job of dealing with all that stuff that happened with Jen. Gabrielle: No, no, he is not doing a great job. He has not moved on from Jen. Not at all. Max: Oh, come on, he will. Just give him a little time, all right? He's a big boy. Gabrielle: And I am an overprotective Mother Hen. Max: Uh-huh. Gabrielle: No, I'm not, Max. There is something wrong, something not right with our son. And if you're not going to worry about it, I am, ok? Max: Ooh. *********************************************** Al: Jen, your uncle's going to be ok. Jen: I keep trying to tell myself that. Al: That's not what's bothering you, though, is it? You can tell me, whatever it is. Jen: I shouldn't be saying this, not after what happened to my uncle. Al: Jen -- it's me. It's ok. Jen: I shouldn't even be thinking this. Al: You know, you can tell me anything. You know that. It's about Cristian, isn't it? Jen: Yeah. Al: And Natalie? I thought you said that you were ok with them being friends. Jen: Well, I was. I was trying. Al: So, what happened? Jen: Something is going on between them. I know it. Cristian stood right here and he wouldn't answer my questions. Al: What do you mean, "wouldn't"? Jen: He wouldn't tell me anything. He wouldn't tell me anything about him and Natalie. *********************************************** Cristian: Hey, Natalie. Hold up. I've been looking for you. How's your step dad? Natalie: Still in a coma. Cristian: Oh. I'm sorry. Natalie: Thanks. Cristian: How are you? Natalie: I'm just trying to figure things out, you know. I -- I'm just trying to remember something, anything that could help me remember if I did this. Cristian: But you didn't. Natalie: How do you know? Cristian: I just do. Look, whatever you need, I'll be here for you. I want to help you. Natalie: Thank you so much. But you can't. Cristian: Why not? Natalie: Because you have your own life. You have Jen. I mean, I'm sure she was pretty freaked out when she saw us together earlier. Cristian: Natalie, come on. Natalie: No. You need to go and be with Jen. Cristian: You sure you're ok? Natalie: Yeah. I mean, you've already helped me so much. I mean, I -- I don't know how I would've gotten through Bo's questions or anything without you. I'm fine. I'll be ok. Cristian: You're still freaked out, aren't you? Look, Natalie, I'm not leaving you. *********************************************** Ross: Manning, if you think you can give orders, think again. Todd: Oh, no, I can give orders. And if you're smart, you'll obey them. Now, get out. Téa: Stop it. Both of you. Look, we're all scared here, ok? Todd: I'm not scared. Téa: Fine, you're not scared. I'm scared. The rest of us are scared. But, look, we didn't fall off the face of the planet. Someone will eventually find us. Until then, we've got to learn how to live together and work together. Maybe we could signal a ship. Maybe we could build a boat. Todd: Oh, goody. Yeah, let's do that. Let's build a boat. And then we can sail it out in the middle of nowhere and die of sunstroke. Ross: Well, Manning, all she's saying, all right -- Todd: No, look. I'm not going to -- if I'm going to die, I'm going to die right here in my bunker! No way I'm going to spend my last hours side by side with you and Gilligan here. Ross: Well, we're not going anywhere, Manning. Todd: Think again, little buddy. Ross: Hey, hey, hey, hey. That's a hand grenade. Téa: What -- what -- Todd: Oh, I know what it is. I even know how to work it. Want to see if it still packs some punch? Ross: Ok. All right, come on, Téa. He's obviously flipped. Téa: Oh. Todd: All right, kids. Here's lookin' at you, kids. *********************************************** Sam: "Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I stand here before you totally -- frankly --" Starr: Ooh! Sam: Hi. Starr: Um -- Sam: How you doing? Starr: Look at all the bugs that I caught. Sam: Bugs -- that's nice. That's a lot of bugs. It's the most bugs I've ever seen in one jar at one time. Starr: You haven't seen a lot of bugs, have you? Sam: Well, I've seen more -- [Knock on door] Sam: Hello -- hi. Nora: Hi, Sam. Sam: Hi. Starr: Aren't you going to say hi to me? Nora: Starr, what are you doing here? Starr: I'm supposed to be here. I have a play date. Nora: Well, I thought Dr. Troy was coming to see you tonight. Starr: Uh, no. I'm catching lightning bugs with Matthew, not Dr. Troy. *********************************************** Blair: Thank you. Troy: I think I know what you need. Mrs. Sharp: You know the rules with visitors. Lindsay: Ow. Mrs. Sharp: One hour. *********************************************** >> On the next "One Life to Live" -- Keri: If you want me to keep quiet, I can't do that, Rae. Lindsay: I need a big, big favor. Hank: Ben's still in a coma. Jessica: She pushed Ben through a window. Cristian: She wouldn't do that. Starr: Dr. Troy's at my house? Then what am I doing here
