One Life to Live Transcript Friday 6/14/02 By Linda >> previously on "One Life to Live" -- Seth: This fell out of your pocket. You knew all along about Natalie and Jessica being switched. Rex, I'm onto you. Al: You did know about Jen keeping her mom's secret all these months, didn't you? Téa: Are you planning on kidnapping Jack and Starr? Natalie: D.I.D. is not hereditary. You lied to me! Niki: Benji, your days are numbered. *********************************************** Ben: Hey. Natalie: Hi. Ben: If you're looking for Jessica and Rex, they went down to the swimming hole at the country club. Natalie: Oh. Ok. Ben: I'm sure they're still there. Why don't you grab your suit and join them. Natalie: You know what? I really don't feel like swimming. Ben: Is something bothering you? Natalie: Yeah, you could say that. Ben: What's going on? Natalie: I need help, Ben. Ben: Anything. What do you need? Natalie: There's something wrong with Viki, and I need to know what it is. *********************************************** Jessica: Hey. Smile. Thank you. Rex: What was that for? Jessica: I'm writing a letter to my brothers. Rex: What for? Jessica: To tell them about you. Rex: So if you're telling them -- Jessica: Oh, come on, a picture's worth a thousand words. Besides, I want them to see you. Rex: Another one? Jessica: Yes -- one for Joey and one for Kevin. Rex: Ok, but that -- Jessica: And one for Cord. Rex: How many more brothers do you have? Jessica: Just one. Rex: Thanks for bringing me here. Jessica: Hey, no problem. I come here all the time. My mom says that I should have just moved all my stuff out of my room, put it in one of these cabanas here so she can rent out my room. Isn't that nice? Rex: You really spend that much time here? Jessica: Yeah, I do. And now you can, too, now that you're here. Rex: Yeah. I could -- I could get used to this kind of life. *********************************************** Cristian: Why didn't you tell me that you knew about what your mom did to Nora Buchanan? Jen: I don't know what you're talking about. Cristian: Jen, you knew that your mom was behind Nora's kidnapping. You knew that it was your mom that gave Nora that drug -- not Colin -- your mom. You knew that your mom was the one responsible for Nora's memory loss. Jen: You're right. I did know. Cristian: So why didn't you tell me? What, you don't trust me? *********************************************** Ross: Our business is over. Todd: No, no, no. No, it's not, because this is what we're going to do now. Now we're going to get the kids. Ross: Get the kids? No, you're nuts. There's no way. They're leaving right now. Todd: No, they're not. Ross: Yes, they are. Didn't you hear what I just said? Todd: Yeah, I heard what you just said. Ross: Yeah, Sam Rappaport and your wife are taking the kids. They're leaving the island. They're heading to the airport right now. Todd: No, they're not. Ross: Why do you keep saying that? Todd: Because I've got everything under control. Ross: What does that mean? They're about to leave. There's no way we can stop them right now. How is it that you have it under control? Todd: Well, let's just say I've got someone else on the case. Blair: Téa Delgado? *********************************************** Téa: Hi, Blair. I know you're probably surprised to see me -- Blair: "Surprised"? Téa: You're right. "Shocked" might be a better word. I know you weren't exactly expecting me. Blair: Yeah, you got that right. What the hell are you doing here, Téa? Oh, I know. Todd sent you, didn't he? Téa: Yes. *********************************************** Jen: Of course I trust you. I trust you more than I trust anybody. Cristian: More than Al? Jen: What? Yes, of course, more than Al. Cristian: You sure about that? Jen: How could you even ask me that? Cristian: Because Al knew about this and I didn't. Jen: You know that Al knows? Cristian: Yes, and I don't get it. Why would you tell Al and not me? Jen: So Al told you about this? Cristian: He thought I already knew, Jen. But why would you tell Al something like that -- Al, who's been lying to you for months -- and not me? Jen: It wasn't like that. Cristian: All right, what was it like? Jen: When I found out about my mom, we hadn't known each other for very long. Cristian: So? Jen: So how was I supposed to tell my new boyfriend that my mom's a monster? For all I knew, you would have run in the opposite direction as fast as you could. Cristian: Yeah, but I might not have. Jen: I know. Cristian: And I wouldn't have. Jen: Well, I know that now, but I didn't know that then. I was afraid I was going to lose you. Cristian: So you just decided not to tell me? Jen: No, I didn't decide. I just kept quiet. I was confused, ok? Part of me was just ashamed, and the other part -- Cristian: What? Jen: Well, no matter what my mom might have done, she's still my mother. *********************************************** Ben: What do you think is wrong with Viki? Natalie: I don't know. I'm not sure. Ben: Do you think she's sick? Natalie: No, not like that. Actually, maybe she is. Ben: She was ok this morning. Natalie: Yeah, well, sometimes she is. Ben: What do you mean? Natalie: Well, sometimes she's -- she's normal, but -- Ben: But what? Natalie: Lately she's been acting really, really strange. Ben: Well, she's had a lot to deal with, especially with Todd. Natalie: No, no, it was long before that. I mean, haven't you noticed it? Ben: Yeah, of course I have. I mean, she has done some things that are -- Natalie: Completely bizarre. Ben: I was going to say a little unusual for her. Natalie: You think that that's all it is, is that she's acting a little unusual? Ben: Ok, Natalie, look, I know you and Viki have had a tough time adjusting to each other. Natalie: That was last year. Ben: You're not still adjusting? Natalie: Ok, I guess I am, but it is a lot harder now than it was then. Ben: What do you mean? Natalie: Well, Viki -- I mean, she was different then. You know, I mean, yeah, we had our problems, but as mean or nasty as I could be, she was really still nice to me. She was kind, you know, like a mother's supposed to be. Ben: She's still your mother, Natalie. Natalie: Yeah, well, she doesn't act like it. She doesn't even act like she's the same person. Ben: How? Natalie: She -- she just -- this Viki -- she's mean. Ben: Ok, just hold on a second, all right? Natalie: No, no. No, she's mean. She's mean and vicious. Ben: Ok, wait. Now, that's a terrible way to talk about your mother. Natalie: Well, what about what she says about me? Ben: What does she say about you? Natalie: She tried to tell me that -- Niki: [As Viki] Natalie and Ben. What's going on? *********************************************** Blair: I knew it. Todd sent you. Téa: Look, I know you're probably pretty angry right now. Blair: Oh, at you or at Todd? Téa: Could we just sit down and talk? Blair: No, no, you're not coming in my room, Téa, especially after you just admitted that Todd sent you. Téa: Look, I know I have no right to ask, but if you'll let me come in and sit down -- Blair: I'm not interested in sitting down with you. I'm not interested in anything that you have to say. Téa: Blair, it's important. Blair: Oh, really? Is that because Todd said that it was? I might have known that Todd would pull a stunt like this, sending somebody else to do his dirty work, sending you. Téa: Blair, if you would just listen to me, ok? Blair: You know what? I've got some news for you, chica. He's using you just like he did the last time. Don't you remember that, huh? Téa: Blair -- Blair: Huh? You remember he paid you $5 million to marry him so he could get custody of my daughter? Téa: That was a long time ago. Blair: How much is he paying you this time, Téa? Téa: Could we sit down and talk like two -- Blair: No, come on! Come on! Come on! We could -- two girls here. You can tell me. I've got two kids now. I do hope that he's doubled your offer. Téa: This has nothing to do with money or with custody or with anything like that, Blair. Blair: Really? Hmm. Oh, I know what it is. It's a charity mission for you. You feel if you can do one good deed for Todd, you can actually look at yourself in the mirror. Téa: I have no problem looking at myself in the mirror. Blair: Yeah, I bet you don't because you don't see your own reflection. I know you're here for my kids because Todd wants them more than anything in the world. Obviously, to get them, he pulled you out from whatever hole you crawled under. Téa: All right, Blair, I'm not going to resort to name calling, ok? But if you will let me in, I have something that I have -- Blair: No! You are not going to get near my kids! Téa: Blair, please, just let me come in and talk to you for a second. Blair: No, Téa. And if you come near me one more step, I will drag you and I will throw you off that balcony just like I did before. Téa: No, you won't. Blair: Do you want to challenge me? Téa: Look, I know you're very upset. I understand that. Blair: Oh, you know I'm upset. You think I'm upset? Téa: Yes. Blair, please let me come in and talk -- Blair: No, Téa! Téa: Let me come in and just -- Blair: Sam, Sam, get her out of here! *********************************************** Todd: See, I've got somebody stalling Blair and Judas so when the guys get here -- Ross: Judas? Todd: Yeah, Judas. That's my new name for Sam. You like it? Ross: Uh -- Todd: I like it. See, I've got somebody stalling Blair and Judas so that when the guys get there they can just grab the kids. Ross: You sure you can trust this person who's stalling them? Todd: Yes. She's one of the only people in the world that I ever really did trust. Ross: "She"? Starr's friend? Todd: Ok, you need to stop thinking like that. Ross: Hey, look, I'm just trying to do my job. Todd: Fine, then do your job. What? What? What's the matter with you? Ross: What? Todd: You're making all these noises, like your sad, sad noises. Ross: No, I'm not making any noises. Todd: Well, then, look, if there's a problem, you need to tell me what it is. Ross: All right, it's just taking kids from their mother. Todd: What? Ross: It's pretty low. Are you sure you want to do this? *********************************************** Waiter: I'll need your signature, sir. Rex: Uh -- I don't know if -- Jessica: You can sign for it. Rex: You sure? Jessica: Yeah. Yeah. It's a family membership. Rex: Ok. Waiter: Thank you. Jessica: Hey. Seth: Hey. Jessica: How's it going? Seth: Hey, Rex. Rex: Hey. Seth: What's all this? Rex: What about it? Seth: I don't know. It seems like a lot. Jessica: Yeah. We were starving after our little shopping spree. Seth: Shopping spree? Jessica: Yeah, Rex and I went a little crazy at Logan's. Seth: You and Rex did? Jessica: Yeah. Yeah. You know, he didn't realize he was going to be staying in town so long, so I thought I'd treat him to some new clothes. Seth: That's pretty generous. Jessica: Well, yeah. He is my brother. You know, I'm going to go mail these to Joey, Kevin, and Cord, ok? Seth: Right now? Jessica: Hey, come on, you know me. If I don't do it now, I'm going to put them on my desk and I'm going to totally forget about it. Rex: Don't you want to eat first? Your food will get cold. Jessica: I'll be right back. You guys go ahead and start, ok? Seth: Uh-uh. The free lunch is over. *********************************************** Niki: [As Viki] Natalie, dear. Are you all right? Ben: Natalie is a little worried about you. Niki: Oh. Really? You're worried about me? Ben: Well, she just wants to make sure you're feeling ok. Niki: Oh. Oh, that's so sweet. You don't have to worry about me. I'm perfectly fine. Natalie: Are you sure? Niki: Oh, of course I'm sure. But I'm so incredibly touched that you care so much about me. Natalie: You know that I care about you, though. Niki: That's true, I do know it, but it is lovely to be reminded of it, especially since it's the mother's job to worry about the daughter. Ben: So, you feel better, Natalie? [Pager beeps] Ben: I'm on call at the clinic. Niki: Oh, do you have to go? Ben: No, I'd better go check in. Niki: Ok. Ben: Excuse me. Niki: Yeah. Well, I have to go as well. I have to get to "The Banner." I have very important staff meeting. Natalie: No, I'm not finished with you yet. *********************************************** Todd: What -- what did you just say? Ross: Are you sure you want to take those kids from their mother? Todd: They're my kids. Ross: Just a question. Todd: Well, here's your answer. Blair's doing the same thing to me. Ross: Yeah, that's what you said. Todd: Yeah, so what would you say if somebody tried to take the kids away from their father, huh? Would you do those kind of funny, weird, sad noises then? Ross: All right, I guess I was wrong. Todd: You guess? Ross: It's just from what I know about Blair -- Mrs. Manning -- is that she doesn't seem like a bad person. Todd: Yeah, well, you don't know her. You don't know her at all. Ross: Ok. Todd: You don't. You don't know her, so just shut up, all right, and do your job. Or if you'd like, I'll find somebody else to do your job, make them rich. Ross: No, don't you worry about it. I'll do whatever I have to do. Todd: Even if it means taking the kids away from their poor, pathetic mother? Ross: All right, all right. I'm sorry I brought it up, all right? Todd: Yeah, you ought to be. Look, I got a lot on my mind right now, and the last thing I need is you growing a conscience. Ross: Yeah, don't worry, I don't have one. Todd: Oh, me, either. Works, right? Works good like that. Anyway -- so, we going to go over this plan one more time or what? Ross: Hey, you're the boss. Whatever you want. Todd: Ok, here's what's going to happen. Your guys are going to go get the kids -- Ross: Mm-hmm. Todd: And they're going to drive with the kids to the meeting place, which from now on we're calling the cove. Then you and I, we're going to be in a boat. We meet them at the cove. Right? Ross: Right. Todd: Then you're home free. Ross: Works for me. Todd: You know what? I think I better get out of here before somebody recognizes me. Grab what you need, meet me at the boat in, like, a half-hour. Oh, oh! I almost forgot. If you screw this up, you're going to be really, really, really sorry you did. *********************************************** Sam: Téa. Téa: Hi, Sam. Sam: What are you doing here? Blair: Todd's bidding, as usual. Sam: What? Téa: Blair, just listen to me. Blair: She's here because she wants custody of Jack and Starr. Téa: That's not true! Blair: What are you here for, then, Téa? You selling something? Encyclopedias? Vacuums? Téa: Blair -- Sam -- Blair: Look, I got good news for you. Sam is representing me, and he's 10 times the lawyer that you will ever be. Téa: You don't need a lawyer, Blair. Blair: Oh, yes, I do, but I'm not worried because Sam will rip you and Todd apart in court. Téa: Sam, listen to me. Todd and I don't want to take Blair to court. Blair: Oh, that's good, because you can't. Not unless Todd wants me to press charges against him for what he did to Jack and me. Téa: Sam, you’ve got to make Blair listen to me. Blair: And I will, Téa. I will put Todd in jail. Téa: Oh, I don't doubt that for a second. Blair: Look at her, Sam. Poor little Téa finally finds a way to worm her way back into Todd's life just as he's about to go off to jail. She is so pathetic. Téa: Blair, you have no idea what I came here to tell you. Blair: Oh, no? I don't? Hmm. Must be a different Téa Delgado who couldn't make a family of her own, so decided to steal mine! Sam: Just hold on a minute, Blair. Blair: What? Sam: Just calm down. Let's hear what Delgado has to say. Blair: Why? Sam: Just for a minute, all right? Téa: Thank you, Sam. Blair: Ok, a minute. You have a minute, Téa. Téa: Well, that's all I need because you don't have much time. Blair: What do you mean? Téa: Todd is not going to fight you for custody of Starr and Jack. Blair: Ok, all right, you know what? You got my attention. Just tell me what it is. What's Todd going to do to me now, Téa? Téa: Todd's here on this island, and he's planning on kidnapping your kids. *********************************************** Cristian: Look, Jen, I understand that you felt like you had to protect your mom, and the only way you could do that was to keep her secret. Jen: So you understand? Cristian: Yeah, well, I probably would have done the same thing if my mom had done something like that. Jen: Really? Cristian: The only trouble is that I can't imagine my mom doing anything like that ever. Jen: See? You don't know what it's like. Cristian: It doesn't matter. Jen: Yes, it does! Cristian: No, it doesn't! Look, I don't care that you felt like you had to keep this secret. What I care about is that you had to tell Al. Jen: Well, it's not like I decided to tell Al and not tell you. Cristian: But why would you tell him at all? I mean, something that was so important to you, something that had you so worried. Why would you tell Al? Jen: Because. Cristian: How could you even trust him, Jen? After everything he did to you? He lied to you, he played you, just so he could get what he wanted, Jen. Jen: I didn't know that then! That was a long time ago, back when he was pretending to be paralyzed. My mom had just gotten arrested. Al was there. Cristian: And who was there with you when you found out about it? Me, right? Jen: No, that was different. Cristian: How? How was it different? Jen: I told you, I didn't know you that well. Cristian: Oh, but you knew Al really well, didn't you? I mean, you knew him so well that you knew he was faking paralysis. Jen: I made a mistake, ok? I thought I could trust him. Cristian: But you couldn't trust me? Jen: We barely knew each other. Cristian: Not then, not way back a million years ago -- I'm talking about now. Jen: What? Cristian: You told Al months ago, and almost all this time, we've been back together. You have to know me now, don't you? But you couldn't tell me? You couldn't trust me? Jen: It wasn't like that. Cristian: You know what? I just finished telling Al that we tell each other everything. I'm such an idiot. Jen: So now you know. Cristian: So now I know? Jen: Now you know how it feels. You know how I feel whenever I see you comforting Natalie for the thousandth time, how every time I turn around she's crying in your arms. Cristian: That's different. Jen: How? She lied and she played us, too, just as much as Al did. Cristian: You're right, you're 100% right, but you know what? In the end, she said the truth. At least I didn't have to drag her out of a wheelchair to find out she was lying. Jen: I can't talk to you about this anymore. Cristian: So what, you're just going to leave? Jen: I have to go visit my mother in Statesville, ok? I'll see you in the morning. Cristian: All right. See you. Jen: Right. See you. *********************************************** Ross: It's about time. Man: Oh, give us a break. Second man: We barely can see with all the tourists. Ross: All right, I just want to go over this one more time to be sure. Man: Knock yourself out. Ross: I'm going to bring the car around front for you guys. While I'm doing that, you go upstairs, get the kids, and bring them down to the car. Me and Mr. Manning are going to meet you at the cove. Man: It sounds like a plan. Ross: Hmm. You know what? You have to make sure that you bring the kids down by themselves. If Mrs. Manning and Mr. Rappaport come with them, we're going to have to abort the job. Tell Mrs. Manning it's safer to bring the kids by themselves, all right? Great, this is good, all right? Whatever you do, we have to bring the kids by themselves. It will guarantee their safety in small numbers. Man: They'll buy that. Ross: They should. All right, but whatever you do, don't make Mr. Rappaport suspicious. He's a big-time lawyer. He'll figure stuff out. Man: No problem. Ross: So you got it? Good. Good, because Mr. Manning will not be happy if you mess this up. And trust me, you don't want to be on his bad side. *********************************************** Téa: That's right, Blair. That's what I was trying to tell you. Todd is here on this island, and he's planning on kidnapping Starr and Jack. Sam: How do you know about this? Téa: Because he told me and he asked me to help him. Blair: I knew it! Téa: He knew that you and Blair were going to leave the island early, so he asked me to come up here to stall you. Blair: What? Téa: But I didn't go through with it. I couldn't be responsible for taking your kids away from you. Sam: So you were in on this from the beginning? Téa: No. I just found out about this yesterday. Sam: Yeah, but you flew all -- all the way out here to Hawaii. Téa: No, look, my being on Maui was just a huge coincidence. I only ran into Todd myself yesterday. No one could have been more surprised than I was. Blair: Oh, I bet you were so surprised. Téa: I was. It's true! Blair: Well, you know what? I don't believe it, Téa. Téa: Why would I give you a heads-up about Todd if I was working for him? Blair: Oh, I can tell you why. Because you're just making all this up just to help Todd! What if it's a trick? Sam: What if it's not? *********************************************** Rex: What's your problem? Seth: Looks like you're really enjoying yourself. Rex: It's a beautiful day, and I'm spending it at the pool. Can you enjoy yourself? Seth: You know what I mean -- signing checks at the country club, letting Jessica take you on shopping sprees. Rex: I'm getting to know my sister. Seth: Or her money. Rex: I don't care about Jessica's money. Seth: No, that's what you're saying. Rex: I'm saying it because it's true. Seth: Well, what about when you first got here? Rex: What about it? Did I say I wanted Jessica's money? Seth: No. You pretended like you didn't know she had it. I still have those articles that fell out of your jacket. You know, the ones about Jessica and Natalie being switched at birth? Rex: Good for you. Seth: You acted all shocked when you ran into Jessica here in Llanview. The truth is you already knew she was your sister. Rex: Yeah, I did. Seth: And you knew she was rich, way before you ever got into town. Rex: So? Seth: So Jessica's been hurt enough. Rex: I'm not going to hurt her. Seth: Keep saying that. But if I think that you're going to hurt her or use her in any way I'm going to tell her you lied. I won't even blink. Are we clear? Rex: Crystal. Jessica: Hey. How's it going? Your lunch. Seth: We weren't that hungry. Jessica: Oh, really? Rex, I thought you were starving. Rex: Uh -- yeah, I was. Jessica: You didn't like it? It's not that good? Rex: No, no, it's not that. I -- Jessica: No, if it isn't, you can just get something else. Sign it right to the same thing. It's fine. Rex: Actually, I can't stay for lunch. Jessica: What? Rex: There's something I have to do. Jessica: Oh. What? Rex: Look for a summer job. If I'm going to be spending some time in town, I'm going to need some money of my own. Jessica: You don't need to do that. Rex: Yeah, I do. Seth: I think that's a really great idea. Good luck. *********************************************** Niki: [As Viki] What is it? Natalie: I want some answers. Niki: Whatever about? Natalie: I want to know why you're acting so weird lately. Niki: Oh, I am most definitely not acting weird, as you call it. Natalie: What, just because you were nice in front of Ben you think I'm going to forget all about it, huh? Niki: Forget all about what? Natalie: You're a completely different person when we're alone. Niki: Excuse me? Natalie: You're mean! Niki: I am most certainly not! Natalie: Oh, yes, you are -- and not just to me. Niki: Well, I have never been mean to anyone. Natalie: How about the way you've been treating Rex? Niki: Rex? I've not been mean to Rex. I don't know Rex. Naturally, I'm going to be a little cautious, that's all. This is a simple misunderstanding. Natalie: You tried to convince me that I have D.I.D., but I don't. Niki: Well, Natalie, dear, I was very concerned about your well being. I thought you deserved to know the facts. Natalie: I do know the facts. Niki: Please, because you read a few articles on the Internet? Natalie: And talked to Dr. Cummings. Niki: And as I have told you before, Rae Cummings is definitely not an expert on D.I.D. Natalie: Yeah? Well, she seemed to know very much. And, you know, all those Internet sites -- they were official sites, like the American journal of psychiatry! Niki: Natalie, dear, please, you have to understand something. Natalie: Here, look! Niki: Well, now, what am I supposed to do with this? Natalie: Learn the truth! Learn that D.I.D. is not hereditary. I can't get it just because you had it. Niki: Oh, there's a great deal that the doctors don't know yet. Natalie: Why? Why would you -- why would you say that to me? Why would you want to make me believe that I could get this horrible disease? Why would you want to make me think I could go crazy? Niki: Well, I'm very sorry, Natalie, but I felt that it was necessary you be alerted to the possibility, however remote. Natalie: But there is no possibility and you know that because you know everything about D.I.D.! You know what causes that! Niki: No one knows everything about D.I.D., and I've seen certain signs in you, you see, that worried me. Natalie: You lied to me! Niki: You are being completely irrational! Natalie: No, you are being irrational, and I am sick and tired of it! Niki: [Normal voice] You stupid little ingrate! You keep shooting your mouth off about me, somebody, namely Dr. Ben, is going to start listening. I'm going to have to shut you up. I'm going to have to shut them both up. Niki: Could I just kill them both? Nah. Nah, because that means I'd have to explain two deaths and I'd have to get rid of two bodies. Maybe they could kill each other. No, that wouldn't work because one would have to kill the other one and the other one would be dead and -- well, wait a minute. Now, what if Ben was going to lose that famous temper of his and just off Natalie? Then she'd be dead, he'd be in jail. Hey, that's two for the price of one, and I love bargains! *********************************************** Todd: My kids are going to have everything. So are we. Singer: Your words to me just a whisper your faces so unclear I try to pay attention your words just disappear oh 'cause it's always raining in my head forget all the things I should have said Blair: No. No. I just want to hold my baby! Todd: You ok, Blair? Blair: I never got to hold him, Todd. Todd: Oh, I -- I know. Blair: I never got see him. I just wanted to see him just once. Todd: I'll tell you what. Why don't we go home and you can see Starr? Blair: The baby? Todd: No, Starr's your baby, too, you know, and -- come on, I'll take you home. Blair: No, Todd. No. I'm not going anywhere without my baby. What's that? Todd: This is your baby's ashes. Todd: Blair, you got to understand something. That baby was very small -- Blair: You couldn't stand the idea that I was having Max's baby, so you got rid of it, Todd! Todd: This is crazy! Blair: Just stop lying! I know everything! Todd: Oh, yeah, as usual, you think you know everything. Blair: You gave my baby away, and then you told me it died. Todd: No, no, no, no -- Paloma told you that -- that -- Blair: You lied to me, Todd! And then you stood there, day after day, watching me cry my heart out, wishing that I were dead. Todd: Oh, I don't even know where any of this is coming from -- Blair: I know what you did, Todd! I know! Just say it! Say it, you bastard! You lied. You told me my baby was dead, and that was a lie. I want you to tell me what you did. Todd: I did it. I did. I did everything you said I did. Blair: Uh -- Sam: How are the kids? Blair: They're fine, Sam. There's no way out of that room except through that door. Téa: Blair, I didn't come here to take your kids from you. Blair: You just keep saying that, Téa. Téa: It's the truth. Sam: So how is Todd planning on kidnapping the kids? Téa: All I know is that someone is going to come here to take your kids. Don't trust anyone. Sam: Where's Todd now? Téa: I'm not sure. Blair: Oh, of course you're not sure. Téa: Blair -- Blair: Just keep on lying to us, Téa. Sam: Why would Téa lie, Blair? Blair: Because she's on Todd's side! Sam: No, she's betraying Todd. She's sticking her neck out just telling us this. Blair: Come on, we don't know if she's betraying Todd. For all we know, Todd could be somewhere waiting for us, like at the airport. Sam: Well, we wouldn't know that he's even trying to take them if it weren't for Téa. Blair: That's exactly why I don't believe her. Téa: Why? What? Blair: Because you don't do anything unless there's something in it for you, Téa. Téa: Not this time, Blair. I just wanted to let you know before it's too late. I've done what I could. I hope I've succeeded. Sam: Téa, wait. [Door closes] Blair: So you think she's telling the truth? Sam: Yeah. I wish I didn't, but I do. Blair: Sam, what are we going to do? [Knock on door] Sam: Who is it? Man: Ross sent us. We're here to pick up the kids. *********************************************** Jessica: I don't get it. Seth: What? Jessica: Why Rex didn't eat his lunch. He said he's as starving as I was. Seth: A hard morning's shopping can really work up an appetite. Jessica: Are you making fun of me? Seth: No. Jessica: No? Then what was the crack about the shopping for? Seth: Maybe Rex wasn't so hungry after all. Maybe shopping doesn't have the same effect on him as it does on you. Jessica: No. Something happened. Seth: What do you mean? Jessica: I think he felt uncomfortable signing for lunch. Seth: I sure didn't get that impression. Jessica: I mean, why else would he jump up and run off saying he needed to get a job? Seth: Because he does. Jessica: Or because he's just uncomfortable with my paying for things. I think that's pretty cool. Don't you? Seth: How so? Jessica: Well, I mean, because, you know, he didn't grow up with a lot of money, and -- but yet he still won't let me pay for anything -- even though he knows that I don't care. Seth: Well, he can't expect you to support him all summer. Jessica: Why not? He's my brother. I mean, come on, I'm not going to support him the rest of his life, but while he's visiting here, sure. Seth: Well, I just think that he should pay his own way, that's all. Jessica: You macho men. Is it so terrible to have a woman pay for you? Seth: No. I let you pay for things sometimes. Jessica: Do you feel like a kept man? Seth: You better keep me because I'm never letting you go. Jessica: I'm not letting you go, either. Want to go for a swim? Seth: Let's see. Rex is gone. I have Jessica Buchanan all to myself. Do I want to go for a swim? I think I'd rather take advantage of the moment. Jessica: Hmm. *********************************************** Niki: All I have to do is make it look like Ben killed Natalie. Pfft -- easy. Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ohh! I got a better idea. Ah, yes! What if Natalie suddenly got D.I.D., and just split into a whole lot of different personalities, and one of those personalities just happened to kill her stepfather -- just like you and Victor, hey, Viki? Yes! See, I said mental illness runs in families. Like mother, like daughter. I guess D.I.D. is hereditary. Ha! Ha! Ha! *********************************************** Natalie: Oh -- um -- I'm sorry. I -- I didn't know you were working. I'll -- I'll leave. Cristian: Oh, Natalie. Wait, don't -- don't go. Natalie: What happened? Cristian: Nothing. Nothing, really. I just kind of -- kind of lost it. Natalie: So I guess it's kind of -- kind of personal, huh? Cristian: Yeah, yeah, kind of. Natalie: All right. Well, I got it. I'll get out of your way. Cristian: But wait, wait. Don't -- don't leave. Um -- I could really use a friend. *********************************************** Todd: No, don't -- don't look at me like that. This is -- this is all your fault! You're making me do this! Come on, Ross, where are you, huh? You said a half-hour. What is going on? Oh. Well, hey, did you do it? Did you -- did you -- did you stall Blair so that my guys could get in there and grab the kids? *********************************************** Man: We have to get the children to the airport right away. Blair: Oh, Sam, please, don't open the door. Sam: That's ok. We've got the situation under control here. Mrs. Manning and I can get the kids to the airport ourselves. Man: Mr. Rayburn insists that we bring the children there personally. Sam: It's ok. We'll take care of it. Blair: Oh! Man: No, Mr. Rappaport. We'll take the kids. >> Stay tuned for scenes from the next "One Life to Live." *********************************************** >> On the next "One Life to Live" -- Lindsay: You can mail this for me. Jen: Who is this for? Natalie: What is going on here? Cristian: Jen and I had a big blowup. Todd: Delgado, come on, out with it. What did you say to Blair? Sam: I suggest you two leave right now before security gets here. Man: Get the kids. Back to The TV MegaSite's OLTL Site
