One Life to Live Transcript Monday 6/3/02 By Linda >> Previously on "One Life to Live" -- Bo: My roomie's the new style editor at "The Banner." Gabrielle: Oh, Bo! Starr: I want my daddy! Daddy! Daddy! Daddy! Niki: You want to get along? Rex: Yeah. Niki: Stay out of my way. Lindsay: Troy is every bit as insane as Colin. He's just better at hiding it. *********************************************** Lindsay: What are we doing in here? I thought morning visiting hours were over. Allison: There you go with your dumb blond questions again. You just don't get it, do you? Questions are for the outside world. When you're here, you do what they tell you and you go where they take you. Lindsay: How am I supposed to know what to do? That was another question. Sorry. Allison: What the hell. Matron: Since Allison saved your tail the other day in the laundry room, I figured both of you could use a break. Lindsay: Oh, good, what are we going to do? Matron: You're mopping up the place. Lindsay: What's Allison going to be doing? Matron: Watching you. Lindsay: Why is it that you get special treatment around here? Allison: There you go with those questions. Yeah, shut up and mop. *********************************************** Troy: All right, after a 15-mile bike ride, I feel like a whole new man. Nora: Yep, me, too. Troy: All right. You know what's next, right? Nora: Yes, the showers. Troy: No, no, no, no, no -- Nora: No? No? Troy: No, no, that was just a warm-up. Now we got to do some weight training. Nora: Fabulous. Oh. Woman: Looking good, Troy. Want to do some super sets? Nora: Super sets? Super. Troy: You know what? Actually, we're in the middle of a workout right here. Maybe another time. Woman: Ok. Troy: All right, darling, are you ready to hit the weights? Nora: Ready to hit something. *********************************************** Niki: [As Viki] I'm serious, Natalie. Rex has got to go. Natalie: But he just got here. Niki: Look, I'm very sorry. I know that you grew up believing that Rex is your brother. Natalie: He is my brother. Niki: Well, of course you feel that way. That's incredibly sweet, isn't it? And the thing is that even if he were your biological brother, how well do you really know him now? Natalie: As well as I need to. Niki: Ok. How long has it been since you saw him? Natalie: Well, years, but the point is that -- Niki: Exactly, so you don't really know him very well at all, do you? Natalie: Look, I'd like to just give him a chance. I thought that you would want to, as well. Niki: Ah, but I have, I have. Look, Natalie, I'm trying very, very hard not to be judgmental, but at this point, Rex is meddling in my life. He is keeping me from doing the things that I want to do. Like so many other people around here. *********************************************** Bo: I'm -- ahem -- I'm -- Gabrielle: I'm sorry. Bo: Sorry. I'm -- no -- Gabrielle: I'm -- I'm so sorry. I don't know what -- Bo: Huh? Gabrielle: Do you know if I'm going to do this job at "The Banner," I have so many things to get organized. You don't -- Bo: Yeah. Gabrielle: Don't want to be overwhelmed. We -- mustn't be overwhelmed. Uh -- um -- good to see you. Bo: Yeah. *********************************************** Blair: Everything's going to be all right, Sam. Sam: Well, that's a new tune from you. Blair: Yes, it is. Seeing Starr calmed, it calmed me down, too. Ross: Mrs. Manning? Blair: Yes, Ross? Ross: The extra security has arrived. No way is Manning getting anywhere near you or your children. Blair: Well, thank you. That makes me feel much better, too. Ross: That's what we're here for. Sam: That's what I'm here for also, Blair. I'll do whatever I can to put you at ease. Blair: Sam, putting Starr at ease was more than I could even ask for. Sam: Yeah, well, it was a pleasure. I mean, she really is a sweet girl. Starr: I'm going to scream until you tell me exactly what dad lied about! Ah! Blair: Starr! Starr! *********************************************** Man: We spotted someone matching Manning's description down the block. Ross: And? Man: We lost him. Is there any entrance to this house that we don't know about? Ross: No. And I've had all the locks changed, so there's nothing to worry about. [Alarm] *********************************************** [Alarm] Blair: Holy cow. [Alarm stops] Blair: Oh. God. Starr: Goodness. Blair: Ross, what set the alarm off? Ross: Well, it seems like -- Blair: What? Ross: Well, it seems like a squirrel took a bite out of the sensor. Starr: Did it get fried? Can I see it? Ross: Better not. Blair: No. Starr: Then can I help you guard us? Blair: Starr, why don't you let Mr. Rayburn just do his job, ok, Sweetheart? Ross: That's all right, Mrs. Manning. She can hang with me. Blair: All right. Just make sure she's safe from Todd. Todd's voice: You're late. There's been a change of plans. I'm not going to let Blair do this to me. So from now on, this is what we do. Ross: You can rely on me, Mrs. Manning. Blair: Well, I do. Ross: Come on. Blair: Sam, I don't know how much more I can take. I see Todd out every window, his shadow behind every door. I'm so afraid he's going to come back here and take Jack and Starr away. Sam: Then he's still controlling your life, Blair. Blair: I know. What am I going to do? Sam: Don't wait for Todd to make the first move. Make yours first, and make it a big one. *********************************************** Starr: Ok, now you can tell me the truth. Ross: About what? Starr: Was that a squirrel out there or was it my dad? *********************************************** Troy: All right. Now you know what this is for, right? Nora: Extracting confessions? Troy: No, but close. Nora: Uh-huh. Troy: Actually, this one's for the back of your legs. Whoop. Now I want you to watch me, ok? Nora: Oh, with pleasure. Troy: Look out for your hands. Nora: Ok. Claire: Troy, hi. Troy: Hey, Claire, looking good. Claire: Oh, you, too, thanks. What brings you here, Nora? Nora: I'm working up a sweat with Troy. Claire: Oh, great. Listen, let me know when you're done with this machine, will you? I love what it does for my legs. Troy: Sure. Nora: Maybe I'll love what it does for mine. Claire: Oh, you're working out, too? Oh, good for you. After all, it is beach weather. Nora: What does she think I'm doing? Holding up the machinery here? Am I dressed for a workout? Do I look like I've been working out? Troy: Don't, don't, don't, don't -- don't even let her bother you. These gym rats, they don't know how to talk about anything else but working out. Nora: No, no, really. Actually, I'm very fascinated with this whole subculture thing happening here. Troy: You're being such a great sport about this. Thank you, Nora. Nora: No, I'm enjoying this. Troy: Ah, no, you're not, but thanks for faking it. Listen, why don't you -- I'll tell you what. Go over to the sauna, relax, chill out, and then, well, as soon as I finish up, I'll come get you. Nora: No, excuse me, it's my turn on the machine, and I'd like a turn on the machine, so scoot. Troy: All right, come on in here. Nora: I want to do this. I actually need to do this. Troy: Ok. Nora: Help me get a few things off my mind. Ok, ready? This like this? Ok. How do I look? Troy: You look like a woman who's trying to get Lindsay off her mind. *********************************************** Lindsay: Ok. It's fine if you don't want to tell me why you get treated like a princess in here. Allison: Well, I wasn't planning to. Lindsay: You know, as long as you're my cellmate, I don't have to be in the laundry room or around Tillie. That works for me. Allison: Yeah, well, from what I heard, it wasn't just the cons who were giving you a hard time the other day. It was Nora Buchanan. Lindsay: Please. I gave Nora Buchanan a hard time. Allison: Oh? Lindsay: Yes. I told her to be real careful of a man who would promise to marry me, take me on a honeymoon, and spend his entire life with me, just to torture me in a fun house. Allison: And that's what you call giving Nora a hard time? Lindsay: Oh, no. No, no, Nora's going to give herself a hard time. I just planted the seeds of doubt, see? Now she's going to worry about how little she knows him, and it'll drive her crazy. Well, face it, I didn't even know him, and he was my fiancé. Allison: You didn't want to know him. All you wanted to do was get married. I would never be that -- oh, no. Lindsay: What? Allison: No! No! No! No! *********************************************** Natalie: I don't understand. What is it that you really want to do? Niki: [As Viki] I -- I just need a little bit of peace and quiet, a little time just for myself every once in a while. But someone is always getting in the way, and Rex is the worst. Natalie: How? I mean, maybe I can talk to him and we can try to work something out here. Niki: I don't really think that talking is going to make any difference. Natalie: Why not? Niki: Ok, listen to me, Natalie, all right? You have a soft spot for Rex. I know that. But the Rex that you remember was an innocent little boy. I'm afraid that you're not seeing that he has grown into a very, very different person, someone very -- Natalie: What? Niki: Sneaky. Natalie: How can you say that? What exactly did he do? I really need to know. Rex: Hi. Natalie: Well? Why are you calling Rex sneaky? What did he do to deserve that? *********************************************** Gabrielle: Bo, your father's here. Nice to see you. Bye. Asa: What was that all about? Bo: Sounded to me like she was trying to say good-bye. Asa: Uh-huh. She's usually not that easy to get rid of. Bo: No, stop. Just stop right there. Asa: Stop what? Bo: I want you to stop making life tough for somebody who I happen to like, and for me, too. And you can stop trashing Gabrielle right to her face and stop telling me to get rid of her. And if you can't stop all of that, then just stop stopping by here. Asa: Whoa! Hold on, Bo. Anything that I did, I did to protect you. Bo: No, I don't need your protection or anybody else's, ok? Because I make my own choices, which means I choose my own friends, and that's what Gabrielle is -- she's a friend. Yeah, we share this place and we share a few laughs, but that's it! All right? Is that clear? Asa: Clear to who, Bo? Me or you? *********************************************** Sam: Listen, Blair, I saw how frightened you were when that alarm went off, and I never want to see you that scared again. That's why I think you ought to take the kids and get away from Todd. Just go as far as you can. Blair: Are you telling me you want me to run away? Sam: No, no, no, no. It's not running away. It's giving yourself and the kids a chance to start healing, you know, without a hint of Todd around. You know, just for a few weeks, anyway. You can take the security guards and just go someplace where Todd can't find you. *********************************************** Ross: I told you, kid. A squirrel set off that alarm. Why would you think it was your dad? Starr: Because everyone has been lying to me about my dad, and I thought that you were, too. Ross: Well, I'm not allowed to lie to you. You're my boss. Starr: That's right, and don't you forget it. Ross: No. Anyway, your daddy wouldn't do anything stupid like setting off the alarm here. Starr: Yeah, he's too smart for that. Ross: Way too smart. Starr: Mr. Rayburn? Ross: Yeah? Starr: How do you know my dad? *********************************************** Bo: You know what? I'm tired of people wondering about me and Gabrielle. Asa: Yeah? She's under your roof. People are going to wonder what else she's under. Bo: Well, you know what? That's their problem because I'm too busy to worry about what other people think. Asa: Oh, yeah, you were too busy. When I came in here, you were standing there like you swallowed a raw fish. Gabrielle charged out of here like the place was on fire. What was that all about? *********************************************** Niki: [As Viki] Well, I mean, he didn't really do anything in particular. Natalie: Ok, I don't understand. Why are you calling him sneaky? Niki: It's the way he acts, ok? Every time I look up, he's there. He's staring at me. Makes me so uncomfortable. Natalie: Ok, so maybe it's all, like, in your head? Niki: No! No, definitely not! Oh, come on. When you think about it, what kind of person stays with complete strangers for so long? Natalie: Yeah, but Rex is hardly a stranger. He's Jessica's biological brother. Niki: Yeah, she didn't even know she had a brother until a little while ago. Sounds like a stranger to me. Natalie: Look, I am so sure that he did not mean to make you feel uncomfortable. [Niki sighs] Natalie: And maybe he stares because this is all very new and unfamiliar to him. Niki: Oh, exactly, exactly. That is all the more reason why he should go back and live with his aunt, where he belongs. And I would so appreciate it if you would convince him. Thank you. Niki: [As herself] ugh. I mean, damn it! All I want to do is seduce Bo, get Ben to divorce me so I can be free. And I need a little privacy to do that. Is that asking so much? [Doorbell rings] Niki: I guess it is! [Niki sighs] Niki: Unless it's Bo, I want none of it. Gabrielle: Hello, Viki. *********************************************** [Music plays] Rex: Hey, Natty. Isn't this place the greatest? Natalie: Yeah. And I'm -- I'm really glad you're enjoying yourself, Rex. I hope you get to stay as long as you want. Rex: Any reason I wouldn't? Natalie: Listen, Rex, there's something we need to discuss. Rex: Like how your mom wants to get rid of me? Hey, no problem. The battle-axe wants me to go? I'm out of here. *********************************************** Lindsay: Allison? Allison, what is it? Max Holden got married? Allison: You know him? Lindsay: Yes. Who's the trashy blonde? Allison: That's Roxanne. Lindsay: Roxanne? "Roxanne Balsom." Well, that's the woman that you told me about. That's the one that raised Viki’s baby. Allison: Well, she's Roxanne Holden now. Can't believe it. Somebody actually fell in love with that moron and married her? Lindsay: Well, if it makes you feel any better, Max Holden is no prize, either. Allison: Oh, so what? I'm pretty. I'm bright. And I'm fun to be with! But you know, I don't smell like some used ashtray. Yet Roxy snags one and I don't. Lindsay: I know it's hard not to be loved. And let's face it -- who deserves to be loved more than you and me? Allison: It's just not fair. Lindsay: No, but that's life, you know? It took me a long time to learn that, that sometimes life just isn't fair. And it never is when it comes to me and men. Allison: Hmm. Yeah, well, I say we blow up the whole world. Why don't we just blow it up? Yeah. Yeah, and except for just me and one last man. Whoo! And then he'll have to be in love with me because he won't have any other choices. Lindsay: I know exactly how you feel. Allison: Hmm. *********************************************** Nora: Lindsay? I'm not thinking about Lindsay. Lindsay can't hurt me, especially not where she is, she can't. Troy: Except when you ran into her at the prison the other day. Nora: You know what? Lindsay's the least of my worries. I'm actually here to protect you from the vultures. Troy: From the vultures? What vultures? Nora: The female variety that are hanging around here. Troy: Ah. Nora: Staring at you from every treetop. I had no idea you had such a large fan club. Troy: You know, I'm going to share with you a little something here. Nora: Ok. Troy: There is only one woman that exists in my world. And her name is Nora Buchanan. Nora: I don't know about the rest of me, but my ego's getting a great massage. Troy: Good. Now let's see what we can do for the rest of you, all right? Here we go. We're going to take it nice and slow. Nora: Ok. Troy: Three sets, 12 reps. Let's go a little lighter. Nora: Ok. Troy: Keep it under control, got it? Nora: I'm fine, I'm fine. You go do what you need to do. I can take of myself. Troy: I know you can. Ooh, even at the gym. All right. Nora: Ah. I had no idea dating you was going to be so invigorating. Ok. Claire: Nora? There's lots of things you don't know about Troy. *********************************************** Ross: All I know about your daddy is what I hear, namely that he did a bad thing, and now he's paying for it by not being allowed to see you. Same thing happened with my daddy, only he was sent away. Starr: You never got to see him again? Ross: Nope. Starr: Hmm. Did you miss him? Ross: A lot. Starr: Well, what'd you do? Ross: Well -- see, what hurts the most is seeing all the places that he and I had been together. Starr: What'd you do, wear a blindfold? Ross: No. I went away. Far away. *********************************************** Blair: Look, I know you're right, Sam. I am absolutely no good to Jack or Starr when I'm like this. Sam: Well, then go on, get away for a while. I'll make the arrangements. I know a guy, a travel agent, who's totally reliable. Blair: Well, you know what? It would just feel so good to go someplace where I could actually relax, not worry. Sam: Good. Well, leave it to me. I'll -- you know, I'll get you the airline tickets, I'll get you a suite with all the amenities, and I'll make sure your security team has all the accommodations. Blair: That sounds great. Sam: Consider it done. Blair: I think I'm feeling a little bit more relaxed right now. I guess the tough part is going to be breaking it to Starr. Sam: I'll do that, too, if you'd like. Blair: No, I -- I can do that, I hope. Hey, Starr. Excuse us, Mr. Rayburn. Can I talk to you a minute? Starr: Yeah. Ross: Yeah, just go on. We'll talk later. Blair: All right. *********************************************** [Phone rings] Ross: Yeah? Man: Ross, it's me. You got trouble, brother. Ross: What are you talking about? Man: The cops -- they're onto you, man. *********************************************** Nora: What is that supposed to mean? Claire: Well, what do you know about him? Nora: Well, what am I supposed to know about him? Claire: Good question. Nora: Ok, that's it, I've had enough. Nora: Ok, just another humiliation to add on to the day. Troy? Um, Troy? Troy? Troy? Troy: Oh -- yeah? Yeah, yeah, hold on, hold on. What's going on? Nora: Don't mean to rip you away, but I'm stuck. Troy: Oh. Ok. Here we go. Nora: Ah. Ah. Thank you. Troy: Good. Nora: Whoo. Troy: I'm sorry, Nora, this is my fault. I shouldn't have dragged you down here like this. Nora: I wanted to come. Troy: Come on, Nora. You haven't been yourself since your little run-in with Lindsay. She really got to you, didn't she? Nora: Ok. It has nothing to with this, but, yes, she did. Troy: What'd she say to you? Nora: That you were just exactly like Colin only you were better at hiding it. Troy: Well, you know something, Nora? Lindsay doesn't know what she's talking about. Nora: No, I know she doesn't, and I know it's not true. But -- Troy: "But"? What do you mean "but"? Wait a minute. Whoa. Nora: She made me realize I don't really know that much about you. Troy: All right, look, um, I got to take care of some personal business, ok? Nora: Ok. Troy: But when I get back, I am going to tell you anything that you want to know about me. Ok? For right now, all you need to know is that I care about you very, very much. Ok? Nora: Ok. Troy: Good. Now, you have the key to my loft, right? So why don't you run by and pick your stuff up and -- oh, you know what? Nora: What? Troy: I'll make you a deal. If you want to go snooping around and looking through my loft, you can do all of that, ok? Nora: Oh, good. Troy: You feel free. All right, baby. Nora: Bye. Troy: Bye. Nora: Vultures. Oh! *********************************************** Lindsay: You know what I don't understand is how some of these women get these men to fall in love with them in the first place. I mean, like, Roxanne sounds like a total airhead. And Nora -- how she gets man after man to chase after her, I'll never get it in a million years. Allison: You know, we are smart and we're beautiful. I think we're too smart and too beautiful. Men are scared of us. Lindsay: No, I think men are just scared of their feelings, you know? I think they're -- you know, they're afraid that they're going to love too much, you know, when they're with a woman, you know, as smart as we are. Allison: You know what? I bet that's what happened with Dave and me. Yeah. Someone of quality comes along and gets interested and he runs for the hills. Lindsay: So, you see? You don't have to feel bad about what happened with Roxanne. She caught a man because she's a lesser woman. Allison: I'll drink to that. Lindsay: I'd love to drink to that! Yes, I would in 28 years. Allison: Oh, I don't think you'll have to wait that long. Ah! It's still here. Lindsay: What? Allison: Daddy's stash. Lindsay: Daddy who? Allison: My daddy. Lindsay: Who's your daddy? Are you telling me your father was a prisoner here? Allison: Better. You said you wanted to know why everybody treated me like a princess? Lindsay: Yeah? Allison: Well, my daddy was king. He was the warden of this joint. Lindsay: What? Allison: I grew up in this place. I know every nook and cranny and hiding place in this hellhole. Cheers. *********************************************** Bo: Gabrielle and I weren't doing anything, and that's the last time you get to ask. Asa: All right. Bo: But? Asa: But what? If you tell me that she is a roommate and your buddy, and if that's fine with you -- Bo: Yeah? Asa: Then it's fine with me. I will not, I promise, interfere anymore. Bo: What are you up to? Asa: Bo, I'm serious. That's what I came over here to tell you -- partly. Bo: Hmm. What's the other part? Asa: Oh, I got to tell you real good news. I met a terrific woman. Bo: Oh, Pa, what are you -- are you serious? What about Renee? Asa: What about her? It's not for me. It's for you. I thought maybe you'd, you know, like to take her out. You are a free man, right? *********************************************** Niki: [As Viki] Yes? Gabrielle: I -- I thought I'd stop by because I wanted to thank you for offering me the position at "The Banner." Niki: You're welcome. Is that it? Gabrielle: Well, I also wanted to thank you for lifting your conditions -- give up my friendship with Bo or there's no job -- and I just wanted to tell you that I'm very grateful that you changed your mind. Niki: So you're not moving out of Bo's? Gabrielle: No. No, Bo convinced me to stay as a friend, that's all. Niki: A word to the wise, Gabrielle. If you want things to go smoothly at my newspaper, then you keep things the way they are. Friends -- nothing more. Gabrielle: Oh, Viki, what I have with Bo is perfect just the way it is and I have no intentions of complicating things. Niki: Good for you. Well, love to stay and chat, kettle's boiling. Gabrielle: Oh, uh, wait just one second. You know, is there anything I need to do to prepare for my new position at "The Banner"? Niki: Nope. [As herself] can't she take a hint? Now, if the brats would just leave me alone, and if Ben would stay gone for a little while longer, I might have a few minutes just to be me! Me! Niki Smith! *********************************************** Natalie: I don't want you to have to go. Rex: Me, neither, but it's not our call. It's up to the mother from hell. Natalie: My mom's not that bad. She's just got this -- problem. Rex: Yeah -- me. Natalie: Look, Rex, I'm sorry she's not been nicer to you, but, hey, she's got Roxanne beat by a landslide, huh? Rex: No contest. Man, even when I was little and I didn't know any other house but ours, I still wanted out of it. After Aunt Corinne rescued me, I kept asking when you were coming. Natalie: You did? Rex: Yeah, I drove her nuts. I still don't get why I was saved and you weren't. Natalie: Yeah, well, all that matters is that we're together now, and I don't want you to leave again. Rex: Neither do I. I want to get to know Jessica, and to know you again. Natalie: Yeah. Me, too. So, you know what? How about you stay away from Viki for a while? You know, don't go in the library where she hangs out, ok? Rex: Still watching out for me, huh, Sis? Natalie: Somebody's got to. Come here. I missed you. Nobody's ever going to split us up. I won't let them. *********************************************** Blair: I know that you really want to see your daddy. Starr: Can I see him? Please, please, please, please? Blair: Look, Starr, if I let you see your daddy, then your daddy might take you away from me, and then I would never, ever get to see you again. Starr: That stinks. Blair: Yeah, it does stink. And it also stinks that you have to choose between your daddy and your mommy, so I'm going to make the choice for you. I'm going to take you and Jack with me to Hawaii. Starr: Hawaii? Blair: Yeah, it'll help you, maybe, not miss daddy so much. Starr: Isn't Hawaii far, far away? Blair: Look, I know you don't like the idea of it, but it's just something that we have to do. Starr: When do we go? What do I take? What do I pack? I mean -- Blair: What? Starr: Can I take my iguanas? Blair: You want to go? Starr: Yeah. I mean, that's what Mr. Rayburn did when he missed his dad. He went far, far away. Can Mr. Rayburn come with us? Blair: Well – *********************************************** Ross: All right, thanks for the tip, man. I owe you one. Man: You got to move, like, now, Ross, or you're going to be wearing suits provided by the state. Ross: You don't have to tell me again. I'm out of here. Believe me, I left yesterday. Starr: Hey, Mr. Rayburn? Aren't you coming to Hawaii with us? Ross: Kid, if your mommy wants me to come to Hawaii with you, I'm in. Starr: I'll go pack. Ross: Talk about your lucky break. Try finding me now, boys. *********************************************** Blair: Sam, I was completely expecting a tantrum, but she wants to go. Sam: Well, that's perfect. Ok. Well, your tickets are waiting for you at the gate, and you check in at the Hyatt. So if there's anything else -- can you think of anything else the kids and you might need? Blair: Yeah. You. Sam: Excuse me? Blair: Look, Sam, you've been a great friend to me, probably the only friend that I have. And I -- it would just be nice to have you there with me and the kids, and I would feel so much better, safer. Sam: Well, uh -- Blair: Just please, Sam -- Sam: Blair, I can't. Blair: Sam, Sam, say yes. I don't know about you, but I have a big old bucket of memories that I'd like to toss in the nearest volcano, and I don't think I'm the only one. *********************************************** Ross: Yeah, that's right, Hawaii. I'll contact you when I get there, Mr. Manning. *********************************************** [Niki sighs] Niki: At last I have some time to be me. Oh. Natalie: Look, I just had this great conversation with Rex, and, look, he -- he promises that he won't be any trouble. So, please, just give him a chance, like you gave me another chance? Niki: [As Viki] Natalie, I gave you a chance because you are my flesh and blood. Rex is not. Natalie: Yeah, well, neither is Jessica and you still love her. At least, that's what you say. Niki: Hello? That's completely different. I raised her. I adopted her. That makes her my daughter. Natalie: Well, Rex is her brother -- Niki: Uh-huh. Natalie: And mine. Niki: Well, to me, Rex is nothing but trouble. Frankly, I'm a little surprised that you don't sense that because you are so much better than Jessica is at seeing through people. In fact, between you and me, Jessica is a total pushover. Natalie: I don't get it. Niki: What is not to get? I'm telling you she's a marshmallow. Natalie: How can you say that about her and Rex? You're not even giving him a chance. Niki: Oh, I most certainly have. Way too many chances, if you ask me. Natalie: No. No, no, no. There's -- you're acting very weird and negative. This isn't like you. What is the deal with you these days? Niki: I could explain it, but you'll wish I hadn't. *********************************************** Bo: Take care, Pa. Asa: You, too, son. Gabrielle: Oh, leaving so soon? Asa: Yes, I said my piece. I told Bo I was not going to interfere anymore, and I'm not. I'll see you around, Gabrielle. Gabrielle: What happened with him? Bo: What? Nothing. He -- I don't know, not much. Listen, Gabrielle. About that kiss -- Gabrielle: Oh. That was barely a kiss, Bo. Bo: What would you call it? Gabrielle: Gesture of friendship. Don't you agree? Bo: Absolutely. Gabrielle: Yeah. They do it in Europe all the time. Bo: That's what I hear. Gabrielle: Right. Now, shall we do the usual, takeout for dinner? Bo: Well, you know what? You're going to have to do it without me because I had something -- something came up. Gabrielle: Oh. What? Bo: Huh? Gabrielle: What came up? Bo: Well -- oh, you'd never believe it, but I got a date. *********************************************** Claire: 8:00? Yeah, I'll be there. Asa: You won't be sorry, Claire. There's not a better man than Bo, and I'm not just saying that because he's my son. Claire: Oh, I don't need to be convinced, Asa. I've had my eye on Bo for a long time. Asa: Well, here's hoping he returns the compliment. Claire: He will. I'll see to it. Well, you don't need to worry about me competing for Troy. I've got a date. Nora: Oh, good, because I was terrified. Claire: Yeah, I know you were. And still are. I may be out of the picture, but you still have a whole gym full of others to worry about. Nora: Claire, I am not worried. Claire: Come on, Nora. I know why you're here. I don't blame you. If I had someone as gorgeous as he was, I wouldn't trust him out of my sight, either. *********************************************** [Allison laughs] Lindsay: Ack! Whew. Whew! God! Oh. Thank you. Allison: My pleasure. But I think I better put it away before somebody walks in. Lindsay: Oh, I bet that can get kind of risky. Allison: Yeah. Well, if the staff comes in and finds it, that bottle will be a little bit lighter and -- I don't like sharing. Lindsay: Hmm -- you shared with me. Allison: Yeah, but that was just because I was glad that you were here when I hit rock bottom. Lindsay: Oh. Starting to change your mind about blondes, aren't you? [Allison chuckles] Allison: This one -- maybe. Matron: All right. Visiting hours just started. Come on, back to your cell. Not you. You have a visitor. Lindsay: Who? *********************************************** Natalie: Explain what? What is going on? Niki: [As Viki] More than you know, Natalie. I've tried to hide it, but I can't anymore. Natalie: What? What is it? Niki: Be afraid, Natalie. Be very, very afraid. >> Stay tuned for scenes from the next "One Life to Live." *********************************************** >> On the next "One Life to Live" -- Lindsay: How long do you think that you can hide from Nora who you really are? Hank: Are you in love with Troy? Chad: Natalie's really psyched, too. Cristian: You're bringing Natalie? Niki: [As Viki] I am so terribly afraid that you are losing your mind.
