[Al groans]

Gabrielle: Al, I just heard --

Al: Mom. What are you doing here?

Gabrielle: You're standing.

Al: Yeah, Mom, I mean, I know what it look--

Gabrielle: You're walk-- you're walking. Oh! Oh, this is -- oh, this is so amazing!

Al: Ok, Mom, don't freak out, ok?

Gabrielle: Listen, when did this -- when did this happen?

*****************************************************************

Rae: Oh, Sister Teresa. Good. I need to arrange for a private room for a therapy session.

Sister Teresa: And you can't use your office?

Rae: No, I can’t. I hope this isn't an inconvenience. It's a very special session, and I could use some security. We need to be totally private.

Sister Teresa: Of course. I'll go make the arrangements.

Rae: Thank you. Thank you very much. Sister.

Viki: Rae?

Rae: Oh, Viki, hi.

Viki: Do they have a room for us?

Rae: Yes, they're making the arrangements.

Viki: Good.

Rae: How about you? Are you ready?

Viki: Am I ready to be hypnotized and try and bring out Niki Smith? I guess I'm as ready as I’ll ever be.

*****************************************************************

Bo: Lindsay? Jen really wants to talk to you.

Lindsay: I'm sorry; my mom told me that I can never talk to strangers.

Jen: Strangers? Mom, it's me.

Lindsay: Do I know you?

Jen: What's happening to her?

Lindsay: My mom and dad are coming to take me home soon, aren't they?

Guard: What's the deal, Commissioner? Why is she acting like she's 7 years old?

*****************************************************************

Starr: Shirley Temple, very dry, and step on it.

Blair: Starr Manning, is that any way to ask for something?

Todd: Well, it is if it's something you want to get. You did hear her? Go get it.

Renee: With pleasure.

Blair: Todd, you cannot let her talk like that.

Todd: Why not?

Starr: Yeah, you said I could do whatever I want.

Blair: That does not mean that you can ask for something rudely, Starr.

Starr: Are you trying to go back on the deal?

Blair: No, I'm not.

Starr: You said this was my special day.

Blair: It is.

Starr: You said that I could do whatever I want.

Blair: Within reason.

Starr: And best of all, no Jack, right, Dad?

Todd: That's right, St-- that's right, Oh Great One.

Blair: I think we're getting a little too carried away with this "Oh Great One" stuff.

Starr: I don't think so.

Todd: Yeah, me, either. So did you check out today's paper?

*****************************************************************

Nora: Sam, I wasn't expecting you.

Sam: Obviously.

Troy: Come on, Sam, it's not what it looks like.

Sam: No, Troy, I think this is exactly what it looks like. Oh! What the--?

*****************************************************************

Starr: Too much ginger ale!

Todd: Send it back.

Renee: Send it back?

Todd: Yes. You do speak English, right? This is Oh Great One's special day. She gets whatever she'd like.

Renee: Oh great one?

Todd: Yes. You do know how to read English, don't you?

Renee: I read "The Banner," Todd. I like an occasional fact with my news.

Todd: Oh, I read "The Banner" sometimes.

Renee: Really?

Todd: Yeah, yeah, yeah, when I’m having trouble falling asleep, I pick up a copy of "The Banner" and, bang, I'm out. See, "The Sun" has got facts in it. It's just that we make the facts a little bit more interesting. Here's an interesting fact -- "Starr Manning rescues man on a wheel."

Renee: Really?

Todd: Mm-hmm.

Renee: Starr, how wonderful.

Starr: I'm a hero.

Todd: Here's another fact -- her Shirley Temple has too much ginger ale in it, so go get another one.

Renee: We'll see what we can do about that, ok?

Todd: Ok. Run along. So you still haven't said anything about the newspaper.

Starr: Dr. Troy should be in the picture.

Todd: Why? He's just the victim. You're the one who's the hero.

Starr: Know what -- maybe we should go visit him to see if he's all right.

Todd: Why would we go visit him? I'm sure he's fine. What? Where are you going, Oh Great One?

Starr: To make sure that they don't mess up my drink again.

Todd: What's wrong with you?

Blair: What's wrong?

Todd: Yeah. You've been giving me a hard time since you got up.

Blair: Yeah, that's because last night you told me I couldn't see Sam again.

Todd: Yeah, well, you know, Sam --

Blair: Yeah, and you wonder why I'm upset?

Todd: I was just trying to protect the family.

Blair: By doing what? By ordering me around, Todd, telling me who I can be friends with and who I can't be friends with?

Todd: Yeah.

Blair: Well, you can't, Todd.

Todd: Hey, you were giving family secrets away to Sam. I mean, look, the last thing that we need is for Sam to figure out that Jack's adoption isn't legal.

Blair: What if Sam can fix it?

Todd: Sam can't fix anything. All Sam ever does is make things worse.

Blair: How could legalizing Jack's adoption make things worse, Todd?

Todd: It just could. You know, I go to all this trouble to get you another baby, and this is the thanks that I get?

Blair: Todd, I am so grateful that you brought Jack into our lives, especially after we lost our other son, but I do not want to lose Jack.

Todd: You won't lose Jack. I promise.

Blair: All right. Well, if that's how you really feel, then why don't we call Sam right now, hmm?

*****************************************************************

Nora: Sam -- Sam, please wait. Sam --

Sam: No, I think I'll give you two some privacy.

Nora: Sam, please -- God, I was up half the night thinking about you, about us.

Sam: Sure. Anyone can see that.

Nora: Sam, Troy -- oh, God, he collapsed on my doorstep last night. I didn't find him until this morning.

Sam: Going to the hospital was too logical for you?

Nora: He didn't want to go.

Sam: No, of course not, not when he could rest up on your couch.

Nora: And I was supposed to leave him on the step?

Sam: You can do whatever you want to with Troy. You just make sure it doesn't affect Matthew.

Nora: Matthew's not here. He's at a friend's for the night.

Sam: Good.

Nora: Sam -- why did you come here?

Sam: I thought I left something important here, but I just remembered where it is.

Nora: Oh, Sam.

Sam: What?

Nora: Can't we talk about this?

Sam: "We"? Who's "we"? You, me, and Troy?

Troy: You know what -- you two should talk. I'm going to go.

Sam: No. I'm the one who's leaving. I've got a meeting. You two have a nice day.

Nora: Sam –

*****************************************************************

Bo: Drop the act, Lindsay.

Lindsay: Ok. Can I have a dollar?

Bo: Nobody's buying it.

Lindsay: Why are you yelling at me?

Bo: Because this is a crock, and you know it. You're just trying to beat the rap for what you did to Nora.

Lindsay: You're mean.

Jen: Mom, what are you doing?

Lindsay: You're pretty. You have blonde hair just like me.

Jen: Please stop this.

Lindsay: What's your name?

Jen: Tell me you're making this up.

Hank: Bo, this is Lindsay’s lawyer.

Man: Mark Glaze. I'd like some time alone with my client to go over her defense.

Bo: Well, you're too late. She's already figured out one on her own.

*****************************************************************

Gabrielle: This is such a miracle. They all said that you might never walk again.

Al: Yeah, Mom, I know --

Gabrielle: But you did it. You showed them! You did it!

Al: Mom --

Gabrielle: Oh, when did this happen, just now?

Al: Just --

Gabrielle: It must have been just now.

Al: Calm down, ok?

Gabrielle: I just saw Jen at the police station. She didn't mention a word of this.

Al: Ok, let's just -- we'll sit down, ok?

Gabrielle: Yes.

Al: Just for a minute? Ok. Ok.

Gabrielle: So did you want to surprise me? Did you tell her not to tell me because you wanted to give me such a wonderful surprise?

Al: I haven't told Jen.

Gabrielle: You haven't?

Al: I haven't told anyone.

Gabrielle: Oh, my. Oh, she's going to be so happy for you. You -- go call her, Darling.

Al: No, no, no, she's got a lot of stuff going on right now, big stuff.

Gabrielle: Well, this -- this would cheer her up.

Al: No.

Gabrielle: No? Oh, no, you don't want to call her on the phone? You want to tell her in person? Is that -- ok. All right. What about Max?

Al: What about him?

Gabrielle: Just does he know? No? Oh, Sweetheart, he loves you so much. He's been so worried about you, as we all have, so you've got to tell him.

Al: Mom --

Gabrielle: Come on.

Al: No.

Gabrielle: I'll let you do the speaking, all right? I won't tell him the news. What's the matter? What did you do that for?

Al: Because nobody can know about this. Nobody can know that I can walk.

Gabrielle: Why? Why is it that people cannot know that you can walk? This is tremendously good news.

Al: Not to me.

Gabrielle: Why would you say something like that?

Al: Because it's true.

Gabrielle: All right, Al, I think you're just overwhelmed right now because it's just happened, but once it's sunk in --

Al: Oh, Mom, it's definitely sunk in.

Gabrielle: Well, it couldn't have sunk in. It's just happened.

Al: Mom, I've been walking for weeks.

Gabrielle: Have you? Well. How is it possible that Jen doesn't know?

Al: I haven't told her.

Gabrielle: Darling, she's been living here with you for the last few weeks and the two of you are getting married, so --

Al: Wait, she told you that we were getting married?

Gabrielle: Yes, that's why I came over. You must be very happy.

Al: Oh, Mom, I am. She's everything to me. I'm going to get to spend the rest of my life with this woman.

Gabrielle: Yes, yes, you will.

Al: You know, I didn't think it was going to happen at first, but it did. She cares about me, Mom. She really cares about me.

Gabrielle: Yes, so why don't you tell her you can walk?

Al: Because --

Gabrielle: Because why?

Al: Because I don't want her to know.

Gabrielle: Sweetheart, she'd be very happy and excited.

Al: No, no, she wouldn't. Mom, if she finds out I can walk, the wedding's off. I'll lose her, Mom. I'll lose her forever.

*****************************************************************

Lindsay: If I ever have a sister, I want her to be just like you.

Jen: Mom, you have a sister.

Lindsay: Stop calling me Mom, silly.

Jen: You are my Mom and you have a sister -- Aunt Lanie.

Lindsay: No, I don’t.

Jen: What are we supposed to do?

Bo: Don't worry about it, Jen. She's going to get tired of this soon enough.

Jen: What if she doesn't? I really think she's losing it.

Mark: So do I. That's why I’d like her to have a full psychiatric evaluation.

Bo: A what?

Hank: Whoa, Bo.

Bo: Hank, come on, she's faking it. She's just trying to beat a prison sentence right now.

Hank: Yeah, well, we have no choice. Lindsay has to be evaluated. I'll arrange to have her transferred to st. Ann's.

*****************************************************************

Rae: Viki?

Viki: Yeah?

Rae: My God, is this upsetting you, having the security outside?

Viki: No, no, not at all. No, believe me, I know Niki Smith. If you do manage to bring her out and if she's in control, you cannot trust her, ok? She will run away if she can.

Rae: No, that's not going to happen. You see, if this works, she will be under a hypnotic state, just like you. I mean, the security is just a precaution, that's all, I promise you.

Viki: Precautions are a very good idea where Niki Smith is concerned. As I said before, you can't trust her, ok?

Rae: Viki, is Niki really that volatile?

Viki: Oh, yes, she is. Believe me, she's by far the most devious of all my alters. You must never underestimate her, ok?

Rae: Are you sure you don't want to tell Ben about this?

Viki: I would love to tell Ben about this. I cannot until I find out what this secret is. I told you, if this turns out to be a threat to our marriage, I won't risk that, ok? So I think this is the right thing to do.

Rae: You think?

Viki: Mm-hmm.

Rae: Honey, you -- you want to wait? I mean, we don't have to do this today, Viki.

Viki: No, I do not want to wait, ok? I need to know what Niki knows. I really do. I have to be able to get on with my life. Otherwise, I’m no good to anybody. I'm no good to Ben or -- or Jessica or Natalie.

Rae: You know, it's interesting what you just said. You mentioned Jessica and Natalie.

Viki: Well, they're my daughters.

Rae: Yes, but you have other children -- Joey and Kevin. You didn't mention them.

Viki: They don't need me in the same way. They're adults.

Rae: Yes, but Jessica and Natalie, they're adults.

Viki: Barely, come on. They still live in the house, you know. Besides --

Rae: "Besides" what?

Viki: You know, Niki first started appearing to me again after Allison Perkins asked to see me, right?

Rae: Yes, I know.

Viki: And a couple of times Niki has taunted me about which girl, which daughter I loved the most.

Rae: Really?

Viki: Yeah. So I think somehow, somewhere, there's got to be some kind of connection between Niki and my daughters. Don't you think?

*****************************************************************

Nora: Where are my keys? They can't just have gotten up and walked away.

Troy: I'm sorry, Nora.

Nora: For what?

Troy: I'm sorry for what happened between you and Sam. That was my fault. I shouldn't have been here. I should've -- I should've never come here. Oh, man. You know what -- maybe -- maybe I should get going.

Nora: Maybe you should.

Troy: Right. Well, like I said, I -- I'm sorry. I -- I never meant to --

Nora: Never meant to what? What is it that you never meant to do, Troy? Wreck my relationship with Sam? Go after Lindsay the way you did even though I asked you time and time again not to? What is it exactly that you never meant to do?

*****************************************************************

Starr: No! More cherries!

Renee: I wish that I -- perhaps you'd like to do it yourself.

Starr: Heroes don't make drinks. Heroes are very special people.

Renee: I wish I’d known that.

Hank: Bo, congratulations on cracking the man on the wheel case and arresting the evil blonde lady.

Bo: Who? Oh, you mean Cruella de Lindsay.

Hank: You've made this town safe for men on wheels everywhere.

Bo: I couldn't have done it without Starr Manning.

Starr: Don't forget the part about me saving Dr. Troy's life.

Bo: Did I tell you? She saved Dr. Troy's life.

Hank: Really? That makes her a very special person. I'm declaring today in Llanview Starr Manning day.

[Bo blows noisemaker]

Starr: Dr. Troy!

Troy: You're my hero, Starr.

*****************************************************************

Todd: I am not going to call Sam.

Blair: Todd --

Todd: No, and that is the last word that I want to hear about it!

Blair: Well, you're going to.

Todd: That's, like, three words and a contraction.

Blair: You are going to hear a lot more.

Todd: Blair --

Blair: You bought a baby!

Todd: Will you keep your voice down?

Blair: You bought a baby from a very unstable woman, and now it's just all blowing up in your face.

Todd: No, it's not.

Blair: Yes, it is! And I'm sorry if you don't like it, but I'm not going to sit around and lose our baby!

Starr: Did I miss something?

Todd: No. It's just that your mother can't figure out what it is that she wants.

Starr: Don't order it here. They have terrible service.

Todd: Tell me about it.

Starr: I decided what I want to do next.

Blair: Yeah? And what is that, Sweetheart?

Todd: No, "and what is that, Oh Great One?"

Starr: A manicure and a facial.

Todd: What?

Blair: Well, you're the one that told her she could do whatever she wanted.

Todd: Yeah, but that's what you want?

Starr: Aunt Dorian always said it's better to look good than to feel good. So can we go?

Todd: Yeah. Fine, we'll go. We'll -- we'll all go, right?

Blair: I'll meet you there.

Todd: Why?

Blair: "Why?" I have an errand to run, that's all.

Todd: Yeah, right, you're not -- what errand?

Blair: Don't you worry your pretty little head about it, Todd.

Starr: Come on, Dad.

Todd: I guess we'll see you there then, right?

Blair: Mm-hmm.

*****************************************************************

Sam: Hi, Renee.

Renee: Hey, Sam. You're here to see Mr. Demming, aren't you?

Sam: How did you know that?

Renee: Because he called to cancel.

Sam: Oh, that's perfect. That's just great.

Renee: I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Sam: Give me a double.

Bartender: Double what?

Sam: Scotch, bourbon -- anything in one of those bottles.

Bartender: Bad day?

Sam: You could say that.

*****************************************************************

Troy: Look, I told you that I was sorry.

Nora: Yes, I know. You keep saying that.

Troy: Well, maybe that's because it's true.

Nora: I don't think so. I find it hard to believe you're sorry when it looks to me like you always manage to get exactly what you want, regardless of the consequences that it costs other people.

Troy: Wait a minute. Whoa, whoa, whoa. You -- you think I got exactly what I wanted?

Nora: Yes, I do.

Troy: Really? You think I almost wanted to die? Is that what you think? You think I wanted to get hit in the head with a crowbar by Lindsay or get bitten by a poisonous spider? Or what about the building? You think I wanted to get trapped in a burning building?

Nora: Whose responsibility was it that you were in that building to begin with?

Troy: I did what I had to do, Nora!

Nora: Oh, right, for your brother?

Troy: That's right, for my brother!

Nora: Oh, please.

Troy: Fine. Fine, it was for me, too, and for you. Somehow, I got the crazy idea that that's what you wanted, Nora. So why don't you tell me that I was wrong. Why don't you look me in the eye, Nora, and tell me that you didn't want me to do exactly what I did.

*****************************************************************

Gabrielle: Al, I'm sure that Jen will be very happy and excited with this good news.

Al: Oh, yeah, she'll be real excited. She'll be excited she can run back to Cristian.

Gabrielle: No, no, no.

Al: Come on, Mom, the only reason she broke up with him is because I ended up in this stupid chair.

Gabrielle: I don't think that's true anymore.

Al: She still loves him, Mom. At least she thinks she does.

Gabrielle: She is with you now.

Al: You know, he's not right for her. The second that she broke up with him, he went running right to Natalie.

Gabrielle: Yes, that's why she's marrying you.

Al: We have a connection, Mom. It's special, and I've felt it since the first time we were together at the quarry.

Gabrielle: I'm sure you did and I'm sure that she felt it, too.

Al: I don't know. I mean, I know she feels something and I know that it gets stronger the more time we spend together. I mean, why else would she want to marry me?

Gabrielle: Exactly.

Al: And she'll get over Cristian. I know she will.

Gabrielle: She already has.

Al: And she'll care about me the same way I care about her, she'll love me the same way that I love her. But it's going to take time, Mom. And I won't get that time if you tell her that I can walk.

Gabrielle: But, Al, my darling --

Al: Mom, don't tell her.

Gabrielle: Al --

Al: Mom, please. If you love me, you won't tell her.

Gabrielle: I do love you. I love you more than anything in this world.

Al: And, Mom, I love you, too.

Gabrielle: And that's why I cannot keep this secret for you.

Al: Why? Why can't you?

Gabrielle: Because she deserves to know this truth.

Al: You think that I’m not good enough for her.

*****************************************************************

Sister Teresa: Excuse me. Are you checking in?

Bo: No.

Mark: Yes. Yes, we are.

Sister Teresa: Excuse me?

Mark: Mark Glaze, of Rothman and Glaze.

Sister Teresa: Oh?

Mark: And my client, Lindsay Rappaport, needs to be admitted immediately.

Bo: No, no.

Mark: No?

Bo: No, nobody is being admitted, not yet.

Hank: Bo --

Bo: No, Hank, we can wrap this whole thing up in about 10 minutes. Is Rae Cummings here?

Sister Teresa: Dr. Cummings?

Bo: Yeah, Dr. Cummings. If anybody can prove that Lindsay’s faking it, Rae can.

Sister Teresa: I'm sorry --

Bo: Why, what, she's not here?

Sister Teresa: No, she is, but she's in the middle of a session and she made it very clear that she's not to be disturbed.

*****************************************************************

Rae: Ok. Now, I want you to try and relax, ok? I want to take you to a place where you feel comfortable enough for Niki to come out, all right? Now close your eyes. Ok. Now, I just want you to concentrate on your breathing. Be aware of every breath. Keep your eyes closed, all right?

Viki: Ok.

Rae: Ok. Now just -- just try and clear your thoughts.

Niki's voice: Careful what you wish for.

[Niki cackles]

*****************************************************************

Gabrielle: Of course you're good enough for her. In fact, you're too good for her. That's not what I was saying at all.

Al: Then why do you still want to tell her I can walk?

Gabrielle: Because I don't want you, my son, to get hurt.

Al: Oh, you don't understand. If you knew how much I loved her, you wouldn't say anything. You'd keep it to yourself.

Gabrielle: Of course I understand. Darling, I know what it means to love someone so much that you'll do anything to hold on to them.

Al: Yeah, right.

Gabrielle: What? Come on. Max. Max.

Al: Yeah.

Gabrielle: All right.

Al: I guess you're right.

Gabrielle: Yes. And you don't know all of it because you were too young to remember all of it, but I pulled some incredible scams. I pretended to be pregnant, then to have a miscarriage, and then there were my suicidal tendencies.

Al: Yeah, that I -- that I remember.

Gabrielle: You know, it almost worked. Max did love me.

Al: You see?

Gabrielle: No. It didn't last because it was built on a lie. I wasted so much time, so many years. I lost Max anyway, but, more importantly, I lost myself.

Al: Mom, I'm sorry.

Gabrielle: I don't want anything like that to ever happen to you. You are young, handsome, incredibly smart, and you can walk again. That's the most amazing thing.

Al: But if she leaves me, Mom --

Gabrielle: Then she never deserved you in the first place. You've got your whole life ahead of you and there are tremendously exciting things ahead.

Al: It won't be the same.

Gabrielle: No, it'll be better, because they'll be happening to you, not someone you're pretending to be. Oh, my darling. You are the most amazing person I’ve ever known and I love you so much. Don't let this happen to you. Don't do it, I’m begging you, I'm pleading. Don't lose yourself the way I did. Stand. Stand up and be who you really are.

*****************************************************************

Mark: Go ahead and sit down.

Lindsay: Ok.

Jen: So after you check my mom in, then what happens?

Bo: Jen, I think it'd be a good idea if you went home.

Jen: No.

Bo: Look, your mom is going to be just fine.

Jen: I know you think she's faking it, but what if she's not?

Bo: She is.

Jen: What if she gets worse?

Bo: She won’t.

Jen: And how do you know that?

Bo: Look, I promise you, if anything happens at all, I'm going to let you know.

Jen: Mom? I'm going to go. I'm going to go, ok?

Lindsay: Ok.

Jen: Is there anything that you want to say to me?

Lindsay: Bye-bye.

Bo: You're not going to get away with this, Lindsay.

Mark: Back off.

Bo: Hey, don't tell me to back off.

Hank: Whoa, whoa, whoa, easy, easy. Hey, outside. Just step outside. Listen, Bo, this is for your own good. You want this guy to bring charges against you?

Bo: I thought you didn't believe any of this.

Hank: I don't, but we've got play this one by book. Otherwise, Lindsay is going to spend her whole sentence right here at St. Ann's, and that is not my idea of her paying for what she did to Nora.

Bo: No.

*****************************************************************

Nora: You're right. I wanted you to go after Lindsay. I wanted you to get her to confess.

Troy: No, no, Nora. No, it was my idea.

Nora: No, I -- I encouraged you.

Troy: You encouraged me? I don't know if I'd go that far.

Nora: Yeah, I did. I did. I was your partner in this. I was a silent partner. You went after Lindsay, I knew exactly what you were doing, and I kept my mouth shut. And because I kept my mouth shut, I lost Sam. I did that all by myself. I lost him.

*****************************************************************

Sam: I'll have another one of these.

Blair: Hey, Sam.

Sam: Hi.

Blair: What's wrong?

Sam: Nothing.

Blair: Really? I've never really seen you drink like this.

Sam: Go home, Blair. You're in love, you're married. Go home and be happy.

Blair: This is about Nora, isn't it?

Sam: Hey, what's with the drink? You grinding the malt all by yourself?

Blair: Hey, you know, maybe you should slow down.

Sam: Yeah, well, maybe I shouldn’t.

Blair: Why you doing this, Sam?

Sam: What's wrong with getting drunk? I think it's a perfectly reasonable response to going to Nora’s house and -- and finding her and Troy all over each other.

Blair: Oh, wow, that's -- that's bad.

Sam: Tell me about it.

Blair: I'm sorry, Sam.

Sam: Don't you have things to do today?

Blair: Yeah, I do. In fact, Todd would be furious if he knew I was even talking to you. We just had a big fight about Jack's adoption.

Sam: You have to win that fight, Blair.

Blair: Yeah, I know. But right now you obviously need a friend, so I’m not going to go anywhere.

*****************************************************************

Woman: Excuse me. Excuse me. Aren't you Starr Manning? You're the little girl that rescued Dr. MacIver, aren't you?

Todd: No autographs.

Starr: No, it's ok. Do you want my autograph?

Woman: Sure.

Starr: Ok.

Woman: You must be so brave. Is it true you took a taxi all the way to the fun house at night?

Starr: Mm-hmm.

Woman: All by yourself?

Starr: I do it all the time.

Todd: She likes cabs.

Woman: And is it also true that you captured a poisonous spider?

Starr: I had to. It was crawling all over me.

Todd: She likes spiders.

Woman: My goodness. You and your wife must have been so worried.

Todd: Nah.

Starr: You see, they thought that I was at school.

Woman: Oh.

Todd: No, I thought you were upstairs sleeping. You're very sneaky. Hey, no photos, ok? You're starting to creep me out. You already have one autograph.

Woman: No, Mr. Manning, I don't want another autograph. The truth is I’ve been looking for you. I'm Janet Major, from Child Services.

Todd: Child services?

Janet: By your own admission and according to this article, your daughter has been running around unsupervised at all hours of the night.

Todd: No, no, it's not like she was unsupervised, it's just nobody was watching her.

Janet: And she was almost killed by a poisonous spider.

Todd: Well, do you think that really would've happened if she'd actually been supervised?

Janet: Nonetheless, that's all about to change.

Todd: You're telling me, because she got the guy off the wheel!

Janet: No, Mr. Manning, you and your wife are being investigated for child endangerment.

*****************************************************************

Sam: Blair, you don't have to stay with me.

Blair: Oh, yeah, I think I do.

Sam: No, go home. Go, go be with Jack. You know, this drink was so good, I think I’ll have another one.

Blair: You know what -- I'm not going to let you do this to yourself, Sam, I'm not.

Sam: Did I ever tell you how beautiful you are when you're angry? In fact, you are very beautiful.

Nora: Sorry I snapped at you.

Troy: It's ok.

Nora: Maybe you should go now, ok? I mean, if you feel up to it.

Troy: Yeah.

Nora: And take yourself to a hospital, please, and get checked out?

Troy: Sure, Doc. I'll go get myself checked out at the hospital.

Nora: Good.

Troy: We'll -- we'll talk again.

Nora: Hey. Hi!

Jen: Is my dad here?

Nora: No, he's not here.

Jen: Do you know where he is?

Nora: No, I don’t. Honey, what's wrong?

Jen: It's my Mom. I think she's having a nervous breakdown.

*****************************************************************

Mark: Here you go. I'll be back in a little while.

Lindsay: You play this with me, ok?

Mark: In a minute.

Lindsay: No, no, play with me now.

Mark: I got to get you checked in first, and then I’ll play with you, I promise. It'll just be a few minutes, ok?

Lindsay: Ok, Mr. Glaze.

Mark: Good girl.

Lindsay: Stare at me all you want, guys. I'm fighting for my life here.

*****************************************************************

Gabrielle: Stand up with me. Stand up with me and we can tell her together.

Al: No, ok, I'm not going anywhere with you. Look, I appreciate what you're trying to do here -- I really do -- I just can't run the risk of losing Jen.

Gabrielle: If you keep doing this, you will lose her anyway.

Al: Mom, if you really love me the way you say you do, you won't say anything about this. You won't tell anybody that I can walk.

Gabrielle: Al --

Max: Hey, guys! What's going on?

*****************************************************************

Rae: Are you comfortable?

Viki: Yes.

Rae: Good. You know that no harm will come to you, don't you?

Viki: Yes.

Rae: Ok. I would like to talk to Niki Smith. I would like her to come out so I can speak to her. Viki, let Niki show herself. And whenever I clap my hands, she will be calm and she will be completely under my control. You need to understand that. She will answer all of my questions. Niki? Niki Smith, I want you to come out. Niki, show yourself to me. Niki. Niki? Is that you?

Niki: You're damn right it is. Oh, yuck! Lady, you got to do something about your hair.
