Frank: This case has been going on way too long. It's been hanging over both our heads for a very long time.
Mallet: Now listen, if I can get you out of Springfield safely, do you have enough money?
Dinah: Where am I going to go?
Mallet: You're going to disappear. You're going to go far off the grid, and you're going to go away.
Phillip: I'm dying, Dad. There isn't any cure.
Alan: There has to be a cure!
Phillip: Hey.
Lillian: Oh, Phillip, I'm so glad you're home.
Phillip: Hey, tell me, is Alan here?
Lillian: No, didn't he come home with you?
Phillip: No, he got angry and he took off.
Lillian: Angry at what, that his team lost? Did he get angry...
Phillip: No, he found out that I'm sick, that I'm dying, and he didn't take it very well.
Lillian: Well, of course he didn’t. He must be just devastated.
Phillip: Oh, no, no, he's actually furious. He thinks I'm trying to fix all of his problems, so I can feel better when I die.
Lillian: Well, isn't that part of the reason that you're...
Phillip: Well, no, it's not so that I can feel better, it's so that we can solve some of the problems that this family has had.
Lillian: That's the same thing, sweetheart.
Phillip: It's not the same thing, but that’s... look, the one thing that I do now know is that I got to find a way to get more time because six weeks is never going to be enough.
Lizzie: Here you go.
Bill: Thank you, baby. There is so much that we got to do, I don't know if we're going to be done by Thanksgiving.
Lizzie: No, we're going to make it. We are. We're going to make it. Because we are going to have our first major holiday in this house as husband and wife with our friends and family. I can see it.
Bill: Yeah?
Lizzie: Uh-huh.
Bill: Okay. I just hope they like sawdust in their stuffing because...
Lizzie: No. No negative thoughts today. No, no, because miracles, they happen.
Bill: Good. Because we're going to need one.
Lizzie: They happen. Okay, I'm sorry. Look at your sister. Who would have ever thought that that woman would have gotten her life together? And not only did she give us our wedding, but she got a happy ending of her own.
Bill: I'm very proud of her. Very proud of her. In fact, I told her that when I ran into her at the office to get the plans.
Lizzie: What was she doing at the office?
Bill: I don't know. She just stopped by while Shayne was checking in on Reva.
Lizzie: That's kind of weird, she would-- on her wedding day-- stop by H.B. & Sons to see if you were there.
Bill: That's Dinah. She’s... she's wacky.
Lizzie: Well, she's happy and she deserves it.
Jonathan: Jeffrey. Hey, Jeffrey. Great. ( Groans )
Reva: You probably don't care that I'm going to be sad forever. Especially after the way I treated you at the funeral, when I punched your picture. I just... I lost it. I just kind of lost it. I just wish that you had told me what you were going to do, you know, so that I could have said good bye. But that's the last time I'm going to say that. Because now it's just us here. Because nobody else seems to understand how much I miss you. ( Floor creaks ) Hello. Is there somebody down there?
Matt: Hi.
Reva: Oh, hey. Hi, Matt.
Matt: I was just picking up some tools. Josh said it was okay. And I want to say hi, you know, see how you are.
Reva: We're fine. We're fine.
Matt: Good. Well, you might be seeing a little more of me. You know, we're doing the renovations on Bill and Lizzie’s place and there's a lot of specialty equipment around here.
Reva: Oh, okay, yeah. That's great. It will be nice to actually see your face.
Matt: I just didn't want you to think there was a strange guy wandering around your place, you know? If you need anything, you let me know.
Reva: Yeah, thank you.
Matt: Okay. I'll see you.
Reva: Okay. See, everybody's trying, but I just don't think I'm ready to be part of this world yet.
Josh: Hey, I was just coming up to see you. I... I know you said you feel okay. And you're doing okay. But the fact is you just found out that your new wife murdered a man.
Shayne: I'm fine.
Josh: I was just wondering if you wanted to go someplace and talk or not talk or maybe throw the ball around.
Shayne: I don't want to, Dad.
Josh: Shayne...
Shayne: I'm going to go inside and relax for a minute, Dad. I just need...
Josh: I just... I think you should, you know...
Shayne: What should I do, Dad? What should I do? Because you know what I should be doing? I should be on my honeymoon with my wife, sipping champagne and telling her how much I love her. As a matter of fact, I've done what I should do with my life, my entire life. And it's still falling apart. So what I'm going to do right now, I'm going to go inside here, Dad. And I'm going to spend the next however long it takes figuring out what I should do next. So I just need a minute, if that's okay with you. I'd appreciate it.
Mallet: Yeah, listen, question, is the helicopter with Dinah Marler on it en route? No, no, no, no, no. I don't need to know where it's going, I just need to know that it's going. Okay, thank you, bye.
Frank: Oh, Mallet, good, did you find Dinah?
Mallet: No, she's not answering her phone and I didn't want to bang on her door at the Beacon because, you know, I mean, she just got married.
Frank: Okay, well, we did a credit card search, and she was definitely in the vicinity around the time of the murder. We're also checking her cell phone records right now, but more importantly we have motive, opportunity and she confessed. So let's go bring her in.
Mallet: Well, I'm going to wait a few more minutes and wait for her to... I think she'll turn herself in.
Frank: Mallet, whether she turns herself in or we go get her, we're still going to arrest her.
Marina: Arrest who?
Frank: Well, Marina, we have a break in the John Doe murder case. Actually, we have a confession.
Marina: Who confessed?
Frank: Dinah Marler.
Marina: So Dinah’s the murderer?
Mallet: It looks that way.
Frank: No, it more than looks that way. We've got motive, opportunity, and now a confession. I just need to check out one more thing.
Mallet: I'm so sorry that I didn't believe you.
Marina: Yeah, so what did she say when she confessed?
Mallet: She said she saw you and Henry at the Park River shopping center, and that you were holding Henry.
Marina: Yeah, that's true. He got fussy, I took him out of the stroller. I was showing him some flowers.
Mallet: And then she said that she saw the Edmund look alike. She confronted him. He said he was there to take Henry away, so she hit him with the stroller to stop him.
Marina: Wow. So Dinah kind of saved Henry there again, huh?
Mallet: Yeah, yeah, she did. I'm so sorry. I can't believe I ever let myself think that you were lying to me.
Marina: Oh, don't be sorry. I'd have done the same thing. If I had run into this guy, I would have hit him with the stroller, and then I would have backed over him with my car, and then I would have shot him and come home to you and celebrated. So where's Dinah now?
Mallet: We're trying to locate her.
Marina: Well, I want to find her. I want to be able to thank her.
Frank: All right, that is it. Everything confirms Dinah’s confession. She was definitely around River Park around the time of the murder, so let's go bring her in now.
Marina: You're going to arrest her?
Frank: Honey, because she confessed.
Marina: You can't prosecute her, Dad.
Frank: Marina, the law is the law.
Mallet: You know what? I'll call her one more time. I'll call her one more time. Maybe she'll turn herself in.
Marina: She's not going answer her phone, Mallet. You know that. It's her wedding day. She's with Shayne.
Reva: Hi. You just missed him.
Josh: Missed who, Shayne?
Reva: No, no, Matt, Matt, came for tools.
Josh: Right, yes, I'm sorry. I forgot to tell you that he was going to do that.
Reva: No, that's fine.
Josh: Yeah, but Shayne’s not.
Reva: Well, why should he be? I mean, come on, he just married a woman who turns out to be a murderer. She killed someone then puts our family through hell because of it.
Josh: Yeah, I just mean he's really not doing well. He's going to need our help.
Reva: How?
Josh: For one thing, I think we're going to have to help him to stay focused, looking forward, to the future. They were only married for a moment, that's a good thing, but I think we're also going to have to help him with the process of getting an annulment, you know, so he can begin to forget about... about this.
Reva: Well, it's not always easy to forget the bad things.
Josh: Yeah, I just think we're going to have to help him find a good lawyer, you know, somebody who specializes in this kind of thing.
Reva: Okay, I'll ask Jeffrey... his contact list. I'll look at his contact list. I mean, he knew some of the best lawyers in the state.
Josh: Okay.
Reva: I'll do it.
Josh: Yeah, that will be helpful.
Reva: Yeah, I'll go in right now, and I'll get a name and number and I'll call you.
Josh: Okay.
Reva: Okay?
Josh: Thank you.
Jonathan: Okay. Come here, Sarah. Come here. Look, don't be scared of him, okay? He's a good guy. He fights the bad guys, just like we do. And he can tell you stories about your grandma.
Sarah: Is he sleeping?
Jonathan: Yeah, kind of. He's a little... a little banged up, but we're going to help him get better. And then when he wakes up, he's going to help us play some games.
Matt: Okay.
Lizzie: All right. Can I trust you to stick to this list if we split up?
Bill: I guess we'll just check them off the list as we get them.
Lizzie: Okay.
Matt: I'll keep him in line.
Lizzie: Oh, no, no, no. That's a lot easier than it sounds. Look here. See how right there it says clear shower curtain liner. That sounds simple, right?
Matt: Doesn't get any simpler than that.
Lizzie: Yeah, but he will find the one with the cartoon characters and the zoo animals. And he will find a way to talk you into it.
Matt: I've been handling this guy for a long time.
Bill: Okay, H.B. III doesn't need to be handled.
Lizzie: I got to go see the wallpaper guy and the upholsterer, but chop chop, okay? I want to make some progress before my dad gets home.
Bill: So no animals on the...
Lizzie: No zoo animals, Bill.
Lillian: Oh, I like that.
Beth: Oh, yes. So do I. But I have to be careful not to overstep, you know. It is Lizzie’s house.
Lillian: Wasn't it so wonderful that Phillip bought it for her. He's back, you know.
Beth: Great, great. So how was their trip, did Alan and Phillip get their fill of baseball?
Lillian: ( Laughs ) They got their fill of each other. They didn't even come back together.
Beth: Shocking, just shocking. You know what I think I'll do? I think I'll call Phillip and ask him to come over and look at the house.
Lillian: Maybe you should wait a while. I mean, he just got back into town. He probably needs to catch his breath.
Beth: Mom.
Lillian: What, honey?
Beth: Lizzie really wants to see him. She needs to see him. Oh, she and Bill want to host Thanksgiving for everyone, but don't tell Phillip that I told you that because they want it to be a surprise.
Phillip: I need to talk to you. You got to find a way to get me some time.
Ed: What happened? Come here.
Phillip: Look, I planned this trip with my father so that we could try to get closer to each other. Didn't turn out that way, but it started to, and I could see that it actually could happen. So you got to do something for me, you know. I know you can't keep me alive forever. I'm not asking you to. But I've got to have more than six weeks because I'm not going to be able to get through to him in that amount of time, and I won't be able to get through to James. There's just too much to do. I do get it. I'm not asking to be taken off the list. I'm just asking to be moved down a little bit. I can't die right now.
Ed: Phillip, listen to me. I can’t...
Phillip: Don't you tell me that you can't do it, Ed. You're a doctor. You're a specialist. You're one of the best. Now what about... what about that experimental treatment that you told me about? Is that something that could maybe buy me a little bit of time?
Ed: It's untested. It's sort of an all or nothing deal. I mean, it will either cure you or the treatment itself could kill you. It's not... listen to me. It's not the kind of thing that just adds another month to your life. It doesn't work that way.
Phillip: It's not fair. I'm so close to fixing this. But I'm not going to make it. I can’t... I can't do it. I can't get it all wrapped up in a few weeks.
Ed: I don't think anybody ever gets it all wrapped up. Just please try to think of yourself as being fortunate to have the amount of time that you do have to say your good-byes. That's all...
Phillip: No. It’s... it's not acceptable. That is not acceptable to me.
Beth: Phillip. Phillip, hey.
Phillip: Hey.
Beth: Welcome home.
Phillip: Thanks.
Beth: I'm just on my way to Lizzie and Bill's house.
Phillip: Lizzie's house?
Beth: Yeah, the one that you bought them.
Phillip: Oh, yeah, okay.
Beth: Look, Lizzie really wants to show you all their plans and what they've been doing. So maybe you want to come with me?
Phillip: You know, I just got back.
Beth: I know, I know, my mom said. But it's really important to Lizzie. She really wants to see you.
Phillip: Okay. I'll follow you.
Beth: Great, let's go.
Lynn: Hey, honey.
Lizzie: Hello. I ordered two pizzas, one cheese and one ham and pineapple.
Lillian: Oh, that's my favorite.
Lizzie: Oh, hi, Nana.
Lillian: Hi, my darling.
Lizzie: Hi. I talked to your mom earlier and she's having so much fun helping you pick out paint samples and...
Lizzie: Well, let me tell you, we are really far from being actually to really paint, but I just wanted to get a couple of the rooms kind of livable.
Lillian: You know, Buzz and I are going to come by with a housewarming gift for you, and it's for your yard because Buzz just really loves to shop in nurseries.
Lizzie: Really?
Lillian: Yeah.
Lizzie: Wow. Everyone's being really nice to us.
Lillian: Well, honey, I think fixing up a house is such a family project.
Lizzie: I totally agree and that is why I need to get Dad to work.
Lillian: I think your father bought the house, that's rather a big contribution.
Lizzie: Yeah, but it's not quite enough of...
Lillian: Buzz will pay.
Lizzie: Thank you.
Lynn: Enjoy.
Lizzie: Thank you. Well, you know, he is always playing the role of the old dad, but he's really a big, strong guy. And I've got gutters that need cleaned out, and other stuff that needs cleaned out. Sheet rocking and... I don't know. I just feel like I remember him doing it in Arizona, and he really enjoyed it.
Lillian: I think that's right.
Lizzie: I actually think I have enough projects to keep him busy for the next ten years.
Reva: What do you think about Jerry Mathers? I mean, really, he’s... you said he was good. ( Knock on the door ) Just hold that thought.
Mallet: Hi, Reva, do you have a minute? Because there's something I thought you might want to hear.
Reva: Would that be the fact that Dinah’s the murderer because my son might have mentioned something about that already.
Mallet: Right, so Shayne told you.
Reva: It came up in conversation.
Mallet: Right, okay, well, needless to say that means that Jeffrey will obviously be exonerated.
Reva: So you came all the way over here to tell me that you are going to stop trashing my dead husband's good name. You could have just called.
Mallet: I'm sorry, Reva.
Reva: Sorry? Sorry what? Sorry that you were trying to pin this murder on any member of my family instead of considering investigating your ex-wife?
Mallet: I thought that you would like to know.
Reva: I'll be sure to tell Jeffrey that the charges have been dropped.
Frank: Dinah Marler. It's Frank Cooper, Springfield Police Department. We need you to open the door, please. ( Knock on the door ) Dinah, open the door. Come on, make it easier on yourself.
Shayne: Go away, Frank.
Frank: Shayne? Shayne, I need to you open the door. We need to speak to Dinah, please.
Shayne: I don't need to do anything for you, Frank.
Frank: Actually you do, Shayne, I have a warrant.
Shayne: Dinah is not here, all right, Frank? She told me what she did and she left.
Frank: We still need to come in and take a look.
Shayne: You still can't because she's not here.
Frank: We need to come in, Shayne.
Shayne: I said, no, Frank.
Frank: Don't say no.
Shayne: No, Frank.
Frank: Why are you making this harder on yourself? Dinah Marler, you're under arrest.
Marshall: She's not here, Cooper.
Frank: Okay, I'll call headquarters. Start bagging evidence.
Shayne: Bagging evidence? No, you're not taking anything from here.
Frank: This warrant says I can.
Shayne: How do you know what's evidence and what's not? I don't care about that warrant.
Mallet: What's going on, Frank?
Shayne: No, no, no, no, no. I do not want him in here.
Frank: Mallet is the lead detective on this case.
Shayne: I don't care if he's the sheriff of Dodge, Frank. I do not want you here. You're not going to find anything.
Mallet: Just let them do their jobs.
Shayne: Shut up, Colombo.
Frank: Shayne, calm down.
Shayne: This is calm, Frank. I just don't want Barney Fife in my house. Is that all right? Put that down, you put that down.
Mallet: Stop, Shayne! Bag the evidence! Shayne!
Marina: That's a great picture of Jeffrey.
Reva: Yeah, I don't want to forget him. So why are you here? Actually, I think you know why you're here. You're here to say you're sorry that your husband terrorized my family before he was able to find the real killer. So you can go ahead and say it, and then you can go. Or we can talk about something else because I have heard so many "I'm sorry" lately, that I'd like to just get this one over with.
Marina: I don't know what to say. Reva, you know that I never thought that you did this, and you know that I never thought that Jeffrey did this either.
Reva: Well, that's something, I guess.
Marina: I'm worried about Shayne. You think he's going to be okay?
Reva: Well, Shayne was headed down a really bad road, and Dinah was able to bring him out of it. And she saved him. I couldn't save him. Josh couldn't save him, but she saved him. He needed her.
Marina: I think that's what we need to remember right now. You know, Dinah wasn't trying to hurt any of us. I... she told Mallet that that guy that she killed, he wanted to take our kids, you know. And she was just... she was trying to stop them.
Reva: Yeah, well that's great. ( Phone ringing ) I just wish she would have told one of us that. Hello.
Mallet: Reva, hey, it's Mallet.
Reva: Mallet, guess who I'm standing right next to, right here in my living room. Your lovely wife.
Mallet: Marina's over here?
Reva: I guess she came over here to apologize for you, too. Do you want to talk to her?
Mallet: No, that's okay. I'll call her later. You're the reason I called. I want to talk to you. Listen, there was a little incident at the Beacon. We sent some officers over here to arrest Dinah. She wasn't here. They started to collect and bag some evidence. Shayne got a little belligerent. Shoving cops... took some swings at some cops, so we had to arrest him.
Reva: Does anyone in your department arrest anyone who deserves it?
Mallet: I'm not doing this with you right now, Reva.
Reva: Your husband just arrested my son.
Marina: I'll go get Colin and put him in the car seat.
Reva: I really wish you were here.
Jonathan: How was your nap?
Jeffrey: I'm glad what I thought was you was really you.
Jonathan: Here.
Jeffrey: Thanks. How long was I out?
Jonathan: Not that long.
Jeffrey: I'm glad I found you.
Jonathan: I found you, dude.
Jeffrey: Edmund... he's coming.
Jonathan: No, too late. He was already here, or in Eagleton, at least, but I saw him before he got to us, so he ran away. Which we're getting really good at by the way. We run from Alan’s guys all the time.
Jeffrey: So Edmund doesn't know that you're here.
Jonathan: Hasn't found us yet.
Jeffrey: Well, that's good. Because he's really gone over the edge this time. And he wants to destroy anything and everything that your mother loves.
Lillian: Oh, Ed, Ed, did you see Phillip? What did he say?
Ed: He's upset.
Lillian: Oh, of course, he's been away with Alan, everything is bound to feel badly inside.
Ed: He's trying to make peace with the important people in his life, and he's asking me for something I can't give him, more time.
Lillian: Isn't there anything we can do?
Ed: The spores that have been attacking his white blood cells are now attacking his entire endocrine system. At a certain point the body just shuts down.
Lillian: He doesn't even look sick.
Ed: And he's not going to. He's going to look more tired as he gets closer to... but it's not going to be something that anyone can really see. And then his body will just give up.
Bill: Oh, I like that green.
Lizzie: No, you don’t.
Bill: Second thought, I don't think I like that green. I don’t.
Beth: Let me just... are you thinking of this green for the inside of the house or the outside.
Bill: Outside, yeah.
Lizzie: Oh, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no.
Bill: No?
Matt: How about... how about that?
Beth: Perfect.
Matt: Pale yellow.
Lizzie: Oh, I love this.
Matt: Yeah, well, some guys have it, some guys don’t.
Bill: I guess you're a whiz with the colors.
Lizzie: Yay!
Bill: Embrace your interior designer.
Lizzie: It's amazing. I love it.
Phillip: I'm glad you like it, honey.
Lizzie: It is going to be perfect when it's done.
Phillip: I can't wait. Well, honey, you made a good start. I'm glad to see the landscapers have already started.
Lizzie: Yeah, yeah, we started. But we still need lots of help.
Bill: Yeah, lots of help. We got a deadline sneaking up on us real fast.
Phillip: What kind of deadline?
Lizzie: We are going to host our first annual Bill and Lizzie Thanksgiving dinner in our finished house.
Beth: Oh, I'm not sure that that's realistic.
Matt: Well, as long as the kitchen and the dining room are finished, we can do it.
Lizzie: Yeah.
Bill: I don't know. With all the pizza breaks we've been taking, I... don't think we'll be done by fourth of July.
Lizzie: We cannot christen this house on the fourth of July. Rick and Michelle will kill us.
Bill: That's true, very, very true. Then I guess Thanksgiving it is. Phillip, I hope you know how to carve a turkey.
Jonathan: So how did you know that Edmund was coming after us? I thought he was locked up somewhere.
Jeffrey: Yeah, well, he was. But they let him go. He came back to Springfield. Turns out old Eddie boy had a daughter, but she died. And then he blamed Shayne for her death. It's a long story. So he goes completely insane. And he steals Colin. Your mother tracks him down and took him down.
Jonathan: That's mom.
Jeffrey: Yeah, so anyway we had him behind bars after that. Then he escapes. He kidnaps another baby, or tries to and then he dies. Or, at least, he wants us to believe that he's dead. Turns out he set the whole thing up. He even had a body cremated and then he tries to set your mother up for the whole thing. I find out about it. The cops are not going to buy it, so I set myself up to look like I did it to get your mother out of jail, and then I go on the run to find him.
Jonathan: Wow, no wonder you passed out.
Jeffrey: ( Yells )
Jonathan: Okay, okay. Here.
Jeffrey: So I'm not done. I realize that he's coming after you and Sarah. Because if he takes Sarah, he knows he's going to hurt your mother more than anything.
Jonathan: Well, he's not going to touch Sarah.
Jeffrey: He's crazy. Anyway, he realized that I was after him. An he left me a little note.
Jonathan: "Keep chasing me, O’Neill, I like the attention. But you better hurry and catch me because if you don't Reva and her family will suffer." Got to love this guy.
Jeffrey: When I realized he was after you, I took that plane and it went down. I think it was sabotaged.
Jonathan: Yeah, everyone thinks you're dead.
Mallet: So you'll be out in about an hour. I talked to Reva.
Shayne: You're lucky I have these cuffs on right now.
Mallet: Shayne, this isn't personal.
Shayne: Right.
Mallet: You shoved a cop.
Shayne: He took my stuff.
Mallet: He was doing his job, collecting evidence.
Shayne: Evidence? That's crap, and know it.
Mallet: Get him out of here.
Shayne: You know it! I'm so sorry. I know how much you're dealing with. I'm so sorry, Mom.
Reva: I'm dealing. I'm dealing. Your father is on his way. We're going to get you out of here as soon as we can. What are you going to do, Mallet! Keep arresting Lewis’s until you go through the entire family.
Mallet: He shoved a cop.
Reva: I would like to shove a cop.
Mallet: Go right ahead, we got lots of vacancy, lots of cells back there for you.
Reva: Have you found the real criminal yet? Have you arrested Dinah?
Mallet: She wasn't in her room. We're searching.
Reva: Well, such a cracker jack police department, you ought to have this case locked up in no time.
Phillip: Lizzie and Bill are going to have their house finished by Thanksgiving, and they want to do this big family dinner. I'd really like to find a way to be there.
Ed: I know you would.
Phillip: I'm going to be there. So if you can't find a way to help me do that, then I'm going to have to find somebody who can.
Ed: I think you should get a second opinion. I think you should learn everything there is to know about this condition, so that you can make informed choices on your treatment. All I want to tell is that no matter who you see, no matter where you go, your choices are going to be limited. And I am sorry. I know this is hard. And I wish you had more options.
Phillip: But see, I... there's things that you may have overlooked or things that maybe you don't know.
Ed: That's always possible. Of course, it is, and I will put you in touch with other doctors.
Phillip: Right, okay. But not doctors... I don't want doctors who are going to give me the same answers.
Ed: Medicine is not absolute. But there are certain chemicals. There are certain cellular elements that cannot, cannot be changed.
Phillip: Okay, okay. Well, okay, so you can't help me. I'll find somebody who can.
Lillian: Hi, sweetheart.
Beth: Hey, Mom. What do you think?
Lillian: Oh, I like the yellow.
Beth: Yeah, I agree with you. This for the house, this for the shutters.
Lillian: Sweetie, has Phillip come by today?
Beth: Yes, he did. Lizzie was thrilled. She showed him around. Asked his advice.
Lillian: And how did he seem to you?
Beth: He seemed...
Lillian: After his trip.
Beth: Fine. Okay. Is there something that I should know about this trip? Something happened?
Lillian: No, honey, not at all. Nothing worse than usual. I just meant that... I don't know, I just think Phillip is more affected by things than anybody else.
Beth: I think... I think he's fine. He's fine. You're being a worry wart. And besides, we have this house to focus on. I think that will take up everybody's time and minds.
Lillian: And money.
Beth: Yeah.
Bill: So you don't like that green that I picked out?
Lizzie: If you would like to have sex tonight, don't talk about the green.
Bill: Really, that bad?
Lizzie: It's that bad. Yeah, it was that bad. ( Cell phone ringing )
Bill: Hello, Bill Lewis.
Frank: It's Frank Cooper.
Bill: Hey, Frank, what's up?
Frank: Listen, have you heard or seen from your sister, Dinah, lately?
Bill: Well, Dinah just got married. You might want to check with her new husband, Shayne Lewis.
Frank: Well, actually we have her husband locked up in downtown right now.
Bill: Wait a minute. What?
Frank: She confessed to murdering the John Doe in the Edmund Winslow case.
Lizzie: What? What's going on?
Frank: She confessed to Mallet, and then she completely disappeared. So if you hear from her, tell her to turn herself in. It'll be a whole lot easier on her.
Bill: Yeah, Frank, if I... if I hear anything, I'll call you. Bye.
Lizzie: What's going on?
Bill: Dinah confessed to the murder. I just don’t... I don't understand how that could happen. Just when you think someone's getting their life together it’s... it doesn't make sense.
Lizzie: Yeah, well, we don't know... we don't know any more information. So...
Bill: I mean, do you think this could be true? I mean, how many times can one person screw up their life?
Marina: Shayne. Your parents are here. I think they're going to post bail.
Shayne: Awesome.
Marina: So you never knew about any of this?
Shayne: No idea.
Marina: I'm sorry. This sucks.
Shayne: Yeah.
Reva: You need to make more.
Josh: Hey. I posted bail. Once they process the paperwork, we should be able to get him out of here.
Reva: You know, he's a good man.
Josh: Yes, he is.
Reva: Why is this happening to him?
Josh: I don't know. We just have to be there for him and help him get through this.
Mallet: Hey, Reva. Hey, Josh. Do you guys want to wait upstairs?
Reva: No.
Mallet: Get you some coffee.
Reva: No, really, really, I helped myself to coffee. You've done enough for our family as it is.
Josh: Can we see him?
Mallet: Sure, go on back.
Josh: Thank you.
Marina: I just talked to Shayne.
Mallet: Yeah, he'll be out soon.
Marina: Did you really have to bring him?
Mallet: Yes. Yes, we did. Your dad arrested him. All right, he shoved Marshall. He took a swing at Sanchez. We didn't want to let him slide.
Marina: All right. So, what's the deal with Dinah, did you find her?
Mallet: We put out an A.P.B. She'll turn up soon.
Marina: Why didn't you just bring her in when she confessed?
Mallet: I wanted time to verify her story.
Marina: All right, so what are you going to do?
Mallet: I don't know.
Marina: I think maybe they'll call you when they find her. Maybe you should come home.
Mallet: Maybe that's a good idea. Let me get my stuff out of my locker. Hold on.
Shayne: You had to bring my little brother? Do you want this to be his first memory of me, in this jail cell.
Josh: She wanted him to get used to the idea of being around jail cells, you know, because we all end up here sooner or later.
Reva: That's not funny.
Josh: Okay. We'll get you out of here, son. Have you heard from Dinah?
Shayne: No, nothing.
Reva: Unbelievable.
Shayne: Mom, she has a lot that's she going through...
Marshall: Papers are processed. You're free to go.
Josh: Thank you.
Coming up on "Guiding Light"...
Jonathan: Everyone thinks you're dead.
Jeffrey: I'm going to stay dead.
Cyrus: I don't think that getting wrapped up in Coop's old research is such a good idea.
Buzz: No, it is a great idea. Get over here.
Marina: Looking for Dinah? You think she maybe found someone to help her get out of the country.
Jonathan: You'll have to kill me to get to Sarah.
Edmund: I don't think that would be too much of a problem. I took care of Jeffrey O’Neill. I think I can take care of you.
