Previously on "Guiding Light"...

Dinah: He did ask me to leave. He doesn't want any of us to get hurt.

Frank: A small plane took off from a Key West airport. We should know something pretty soon.

Father Ray: I suggested a retreat where she should go reflect.

Olivia: She just took off and didn't tell me anything?

Father Ray: I don't know why she chose not to tell you herself.

Marina: You think Edmund caused the crash.

Mallet: He's capable of.

Marina: He's going to come after Henry.

Mallet: I'm not going to let Edmund take away anyone else that I love.

Bill: Here he comes.

Lizzie: ( Laughs ) Did you know that swans mate for life?

Bill: Just like you and me, baby.

Lizzie: Yeah.

Bill: Just like you and me.

Lizzie: Do you think they ever fight?

Bill: Yeah. Yeah, they do fight. You ever see them in action? They put their wings up like this, and they start charging. But I think they spend most of their time protecting their nest from outsiders.

Lizzie: Like the geese.

Bill: Like the geese.

Lizzie: Yeah.

Bill: And the Spaulding’s and the Lewis’s and... and anyone else. And I will protect you from the geese if you... if you want me to. I could do that.

Lizzie: Hey. Hey, Billy.

Bill: Hey. Hey, what's going on?

Lizzie: Do you want to...

Billy: No, no, no. It's a... look, I've got some news and... I just got off the phone with Reva, and she...

Bill: I heard... about Jeffrey’s plane.

Billy: Yeah.

Lizzie: What happened?

Bill: Jeffrey's plane went down. He had called Reva and then the plane was going down, and...

Lizzie: Wait, wait, wait. Oh, my God. We have to postpone the wedding.

Bill: Well, I suggested that to Josh, but he insisted that we... we go through with this.

Billy: Well, actually, we might want to rethink that because they're pretty sure Dinah was on the plane with Jeffrey.

Bill: What?

Billy: Yeah, she was running around from country to country with him, trying to find Edmund. And...

Lizzie: Did Jeffrey say she was on the plane?

Bill: No, no. He, actually, just called to say goodbye to Reva.

Bill: Wait, wait, wait. Have you talked to Mom about this?

Billy: No. I thought you and I ought to do that together.

Bill: Yeah.

Billy: Look, you guys take a few minutes. I'll be up in my office, okay? Come by when you want to go talk to your mom.

Olivia: All right, Doris, I don't know where you are, but we were supposed to be on the road 30 minutes ago looking for Natalia. So if you can't make it, can you just... what?

Doris: Sorry. Sorry, I'm late. I just... I had to stop at the store for a few snacks. What? I like to be comfortable. Well, I hate bugs, really.

Olivia: While you were packing, did you remember to get the list?

Doris: Yep, I did. Every retreat and catholic monastery from here to Chicago.

Olivia: All right, fine.

Doris: It's a long list.

Olivia: We need to get started before Natalia becomes a nun and ships off to Africa.

Doris: Look, she's not going to become a nun. She loves you way too much for that. She is probably just somewhere reflecting or fasting or having a vision or something. That's what religious people do. Here you go.

Olivia: I'll get that.

Doris: Okay, great. Thanks.

Marina: What do you think the chances are?

Mallet: Chances of what?

Marina: I don't know, that Jeffrey was on to something before his plane went down. Edmund is still alive.

Mallet: I think the chances are good that is out there, that he's alive. I think he's the one that framed Reva, and he probably sabotaged Jeffrey’s plane.

Marina: So who do you think he'll come after next?

Mallet: Hard to know.

Marina: This is so unfair. It's just... it's not right. It's not right. Jeffrey's gone and Edmund is the one whose skull should have been crushed. Everything would be better.

Josh: Yeah, well, thank you for your help, Frank. Call us if you find out anything else, okay? Yeah. Dinah, when you were tailing Edmund, where there any close calls at all?

Shayne: Did he see you?

Dinah: Not that I know of.

Josh: So, he could have? Because if he knew he was being pursued, he might have tracked Jeffrey to the plane.

Reva: No, no. Jeffrey would have stayed one step ahead of Edmund. There's no way Edmund could have gotten on that plane to do anything to it.

Shayne: Mom. Mom, Jeffrey called you for a reason. That means he knew that the plane was going to go down.

Reva: Yes, he knew the plane was going to go down. He was preparing himself for whatever might happen next, like, I don't know, putting a parachute on because he was going to jump, or getting ready to make an emergency landing on the ocean or on a road somewhere.

Dinah: You know, I want to believe that, too.

Reva: Yes, okay. Well, then believe it. Because that phones going to ring in any second, and it's going to Jeffrey on the other end of the line. ( Cell phone rings )

Josh: It's the FAA. Yeah, hello. Yes, yes, this is Josh Lewis. Yeah, thank you for calling back. Yes, I have a map right here. Go ahead.

Shayne: I'm sorry.

Reva: You know what? Take Dinah somewhere. Take her somewhere and let her know how happy that she... you are that she's still alive.

Shayne: Hey, we want to stay here with you, okay?

Dinah: Just until we know what's happening.

Reva: No! That's an order. Just go, please. I will call you both if we hear anything. Go. I'm so glad you're okay.

Dinah: Thank you. Come here.

Reva: It's fine. Jeffrey is fine. I mean, it's Jeffrey, right? You don't have to worry. Go. Thanks. Okay, guys.

Josh: Okay. All right, thank you very much. I appreciate that.

Reva: What did they say?

Josh: Well, they're still gathering information, but they've done a calculation based on the time they know he left Key West and then the time that he phoned you. They've done an estimation. This is Key West right here. And... this is the... roughly the search area.

Reva: ( Sighs )

Lizzie: We can easily postpone this wedding.

Bill: You know, I don't want to, of course. But maybe for my mom's sake we should...

Lizzie: For your sake. It's okay to be upset, okay? She's your sister. It doesn't matter if she's done bad things. This is not the time to hold on to that. She is your family.

Bill: I mean, you told your brother not to come because he punched me in the face.

Lizzie: Well, and because he used your name to start a Ponzi scheme.

Bill: Yes, but my sister kidnapped you.

Lizzie: Right now, none of that matters.

Bill: So if she was here, then what would we do? We would just forgive her and move on?

Lizzie: Be a lot better than her being gone.

Bill: Yeah.

Marina: Do you think we should get a security system for the house? Do you think we should get a security system for the house?

Mallet: Yeah, that's probably not a bad idea. Hey, buddy.

Marina: Well, do you think that we need to tell my family that Henry could be in danger?

Mallet: What, do you think that's a good idea? I mean, do you think that's a good idea that everybody in town knows that Shayne is Henry’s father? Because if you're going to tell them that Edmund’s a danger to Henry, then you're going to have to tell them why.

Marina: I don't know. I don't know.

Mallet: Well, what about Shayne? I mean, come on think about it. Is Shayne ready for this, for his whole family to know? I'm just telling you that once everybody knows the truth, then it's just going to change everything.

Marina: Well, then how are we supposed to protect Henry?

Mallet: It's you and it's me and Dinah and Shayne. We work together to keep Henry safe. And I continue to try to solve this case. And I try to figure out whose body was cremated. Because Edmund was probably behind that. And maybe I'll find some clues that will lead me to him.

Marina: And you really think that's going to be enough?

Mallet: No, that's all I got. That's all I have. I have some man whose head was bashed in with some PVC pipe. I got to figure out who that is, or who that was. I don't know. It's better than sitting around doing nothing.

Marina: Well, what am I supposed to do?

Mallet: Babaloo, babaloo. Take Henry to go see your dad. Keep him around a lot of people.

Marina: Okay, fine. I'll go. I will go, but I think that working on this case is a huge waste of your time.

Mallet: Oh, really? Well, maybe it is. I don't know. But I'm a cop. I can't sit around and do nothing.

Marina: ( Sighs ) Come on, buddy. I wish you'd just let it go.

Dinah: You know, when I was with Jeffrey last, he said to me, "This is going to end."

Shayne: Come here. I'm so happy that you're back. Do you know that?

Dinah: I'm so sorry I had to take off the way I did.

Shayne: I would have kept you from getting on that plane, and you knew that.

Dinah: I know.

Shayne: So you were right. It could've been you with him. You know that?

Dinah: I know.

Shayne: No, do you know that?

Dinah: I know that. What if Jeffrey really is...

Shayne: If he is, then we help my mom get through it the best that we can. And Colin... Colin will be a baby that never knew his...

Dinah: Father. I know. Never knew his father, I know.

Shayne: Yeah, so there’s... there's a lot to catch up on that's happened while you were gone. Let's see. So Edmund knew that Henry was his grandson.

Dinah: What?

Shayne: Yeah, how about that? Left papers for him in his will. We don't know. And you don't have to tiptoe around Mallet anymore. He knows that I'm Henry’s father.

Dinah: You told him?

Shayne: I didn't tell him anything. He actually figured it out on his own.

Dinah: And how are you dealing with this?

Shayne: I'd be dealing with it a lot better if he wasn't such a hard ass about this case.

Dinah: Mallet is a good cop. Maybe you just need to give him a chance.

Shayne: What, like he gave my mom a chance, right? You haven't thought about this, have you? Hey, where would Jeffrey be right now if Mallet hadn't arrested my mom? He'd be home with his son and his wife.

Reva: He could be anywhere.

Josh: Anywhere. Anywhere in this circle, if the FAA did their calculations right.

Reva: Yeah, well, it's a bit daunting, you know. So I need... I need to get down there.

Josh: What? Wait, wait, wait. You can't be serious.

Reva: My husband's in trouble and needs my help. Why wouldn't I go?

Josh: Why wouldn't you go? Reva, you have a newborn baby for one thing. You... you've only been cancer free for a couple of months. Not to mention the fact that once you got down there, you wouldn't know where to go or what to do.

Reva: I'll do some research.

Josh: Reva, this is not the time for you to go down to Florida looking for Jeffrey. You have to leave the search to the professionals, okay? You... you belong here around people who love you.

Reva: Well, you know what? That's a perfect answer for someone who's already half given up. Well, I haven't done that. So, I'm going. I'm going today. I'm going to try to get the next flight out of here.

Josh: You know, I can't just drop everything in my life...

Reva: Who asked you to come with me? I'm fine.

Josh: You're not fine.

Reva: So does that mean you're coming? I don't have time for this. Either you're in or you're out.

Josh: Keep us posted. ( Cell phone rings )

Reva: Hello.

Mallet: Reva, it's Mallet. Any word about Jeffrey?

Reva: No, and this is a really bad time. I... I have to go.

Mallet: I've been going over some of the evidence in the case, and I was wondering if you could meet me at the station in a few minutes.

Reva: What part of "bad time" don't you get?

Mallet: Reva, come on. It's important or I wouldn't ask. A few minutes. I promise it won't take long. Listen, if the FAA calls back, they're going call the police first. So when a call comes in, you'll be at the station.

Reva: Okay. I'm going to give you ten minutes, and that's all.

Doris: Oh, look. We're going to go right to Oakdale. You know what? There is a great diner there. I had a burger there once. Oh, it was delicious. I got grease all over the car.

Olivia: Yeah. Are we taking highway nine or 22?

Doris: Nine. It's right by the school.

Olivia: All right.

Doris: You know what? Oakdale is a really cool town. I think maybe I'll move here when my term is up, and I'll run for mayor.

Olivia: You know, I am so glad that my life crisis is helping you sort out your next career move.

Doris: I'm just trying to get your mind off of things.

Olivia: Well, you can’t. I need to figure out what I'm going to say to her.

Doris: How can you do that? You don't even know why she left.

Olivia: It doesn't matter why she left. I mean, I just have to remind her that we're not running from these things anymore. That whatever problems we have, we'll deal with them together.

Doris: Together.

Olivia: Together.

Doris: It's just that you two spent so long denying that you were together.

Olivia: I know. And you know what? If that's the issue, then we'll deal with it. Because I'll wait. I just want to be with her.

Doris: Wow. I've never had a relationship like that. I mean, I've been loved, but not that way. I know the way you feel about Natalia. You'd do anything for her.

Olivia: Yeah, I would do anything for her. She is the most important person in my life, maybe with the exception of my daughters.

Doris: Have you ever been religious?

Olivia: Not particularly.

Doris: Me either. But, you know, I am kind of thinking that maybe Natalia feels about her religion the way that you and I feel about our daughters.

Olivia: So what are you saying? That you think the pull's too strong? That she can't have both things in her life?

Doris: I'm not saying that at all. I'm merely ruminating.

Olivia: No, don't, no. We've done this. We know that she can have both things. She's just forgotten. So I need to find her and I need to remind her. And then we'll all go home.

Doris: God can be very powerful.

Olivia: Well, no offense, but so can I. ( Engine starts )

Bill: Hey.

Billy: Hey, hey. Oh, good. Look, here.

Bill: Don't tell me that you...

Billy: No, no. That's Josh's. Look, Bill, I got it in case you wanted to take a little taste before we have to go over and talk to your mama. Bill, I'm really sorry this whole thing happened like this.

Bill: You know, Dinah and me, we had such a rough year. But... I was thinking before that, everything was so great. I just don't know how I let everything get so bad.

Billy: Wait a minute, wait a minute. You let everything get bad?

Bill: Now she's gone, I can’t... I can't fix it. I can't fix it. I just... I wasn't planning staying mad at her forever.

Billy: Yeah, look, Bill, I'm kind of worried about this same thing with your mom, because she and Dinah had some rough times this year. And regret is a hard thing to live with.

Lizzie: I am so sorry.

Shayne: What are you sorry about?

Lizzie: You don't know? Jeffrey's plane.

Shayne: Yeah, no. Yeah, it's pretty tough. I mean, the FAA is searching all over the area, but, yeah, we don't have much hope, so...

Lynn: Here you go, two burgers medium rare.

Lizzie: You're just taking this really well. If I lost Bill, I'd be a mess.

Shayne: Lizzie, Dinah wasn't on the plane with Jeffrey. She's at my place taking a shower right now. There's two burgers...

Lizzie: Dinah wasn't on the plane?

Shayne: No, she wasn't on the plane. She's at... where are you going?

Lizzie: I have to go tell Bill.

Doris: What happened? You struck out?

Olivia: It's a retreat for nuns.

Doris: Oh. Well, Natalia could pass. Okay. Next stop, St. Andrew's.

Reva: Did the FAA call?

Mallet: Oh, hey, Reva. No, nothing yet. Can I get you some coffee?

Reva: You know, I said I'd give you ten minutes, and the clock is ticking.

Mallet: Well, if I could put this off, I would. But, unfortunately, I have a murder to solve.

Reva: Yeah, and you bet you do. The whole town knows it.

Mallet: Look, if I can figure out this murder case, then maybe it will shed some light on Jeffrey’s situation.

Reva: Jeffrey's plane went down. What kind of light do you want to shed on that? You now have nine and a half minutes.

Mallet: Okay, Reva. Do you believe that Edmund’s still out there?

Reva: It's a possibility. It's hard to send demons back to hell.

Mallet: Okay, great. Let's say Edmund’s alive and he's out there. Now, who was floating dead in the river, huh? Did Jeffrey give you any indication...

Reva: You can't possible think that he killed somebody.

Mallet: I don't have any evidence to prove otherwise.

Reva: You want evidence? Here's your evidence. The only reason Jeffrey’s on the run is to take the heat off me. He knew that Edmund was trying to set me up, so he sacrificed himself to prove it. Period. He's innocent, innocent of everything except loving me. I don't know where your body came from. I don't know how it ended up in that water. And frankly, at this point, I don't care.

Mallet: We're not through yet.

Shayne: Hey, hey. Hey, hey. Food's here.

Dinah: Oh.

Shayne: Yeah, yeah.

Dinah: Buzz burgers?

Shayne: That's right.

Dinah: Excellent, excellent. ( Knock on the door )

Marina: Hi.

Dinah: Marina, hi. And Henry, come on in.

Marina: I'm sorry to...

Shayne: No, no, everything all right? What's going on?

Marina: ...Come over with out calling. I know you guys need some alone time. He’s... he's too scared. You know, he's too little to know that he should be scared. I'm scared. I have some questions.

Dinah: About what?

Marina: I have some really important questions about our son's grandfather, and what you intend to do about him.

Mallet: You can't just come in here, tell me Jeffrey’s innocent, and then just waltz out the door.

Reva: Yeah, that's exactly what I'm doing because Jeffrey is innocent. So am I, so is Josh and Shayne. All of us, Mallet. Every single person that you've been pressuring and investigating, but then you knew that all along, didn't you?

Mallet: I've known what all along.

Reva: You're a good cop. How many cases have investigated, really? I mean, how many?

Mallet: Too many to count.

Reva: Exactly. Which is why a part of you has to know that Jeffrey didn't do this, even when they tried to convince you otherwise. Whoever died, died because he looked like Edmund. I mean, how many enemies does the man have? Not just here in Springfield, but all over the world. Anyone could have killed him, including you Mallet. Yeah, I'm serious. Maybe that's why you came after us to take the suspicion off you, huh?

Mallet: Oh, please. Come on, come on.

Reva: Yeah, no, I'm serious. Maybe the better question here is who didn't want to see Edmund dead. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a husband to find.

Mallet: Reva. I hope Jeffrey’s okay. I do. I really do. I mean that. Jeffrey and I worked together a long time. Good luck.

Marina: Okay, so you followed Edmund for a couple of weeks. I mean, did it look like he was coming back to Springfield?

Dinah: Marina, if we knew.... I'm sorry.

Marina: Well, he was in Bosnia, right?

Dinah: Well, we don't know that. We used Lara’s grave to smoke him out.

Shayne: Not a bad plan.

Dinah: Yeah, it worked. We got a lead on him.

Marina: Where?

Dinah: Buenos Aires.

Marina: Okay, and then... and then what happened after that? That's good.

Dinah: Jeffrey and I split up. He rented a small plane and, as I told you before, he went off toward the Florida Keys hoping to pick up Edmund and bring him back in shackles.

Marina: Okay, but... but that's not happening now. Right? Ay, so what are we going to do? What do you think? What should we do?

Shayne: We... we take extra precautions. We watch our back and... I mean, what about Mallet? Mallet knows the score. I'm going to get a soda. Anybody thirsty? Want a soda?

Dinah: I'll have one, yeah. Thank you.

Shayne: I'm going to grab some ice. I'll be right back.

Dinah: Okay. Hey. Why are you here?

Marina: Edmund.

Dinah: I understand your concern about Edmund, but I mean, why are you here at Shayne’s? I mean, do you not see what you're doing... sort of forcing him to step up for his son when, technically, that is Mallet's job.

Marina: We need all the help we can get.

Dinah: I understand that. I'm talking about Mallet and Shayne, and the position that you're putting them in, and the feelings you're stirring up. I'm telling you to be careful, okay?

Josh: Son.

Shayne: Dad, what are you doing here? Did you hear something about Jeffrey? What's going on?

Josh: No, no, but your mom, in her infinite wisdom, has decided to go down to Florida on her own to look for him.

Shayne: That's insane.

Josh: Yes, it is, which is why you're going with her.

Bill: Hey, baby.

Lizzie: Hi. Did you talk to Vanessa?

Billy: No.

Bill: We're going to go there right now.

Lizzie: No. No, no. Dinah's alive.

Billy: What?

Bill: Wait a minute, how do you know this?

Lizzie: She's here. She's in town. She's taking a shower at Shayne’s.

Bill: She's taking a shower?

Lizzie: I just ran into Shayne at Company.

Billy: Oh, whoa, ho. It's a good thing we did not go talk to Vanessa.

Lizzie: You think?

Bill: That’s... that's good news. ( Laughter )

Bill: I think my heart is... my heart, it seems, is working. Well, that's good. Then I guess we just get on with our lives and make it about the wedding.

Lizzie: Yeah, no. No, you need to go see your sister.

Bill: No, I mean, that was a scare. It was a bit of a scare and... but I'm glad that...

Lizzie: No, no, no. No, no. You need to go see your sister and you need to invite her to our wedding.

Bill: Yeah, thanks.

Olivia: I just... I just need to see my friend, okay? To talk, it's important. Her name is Natalia. She's got long dark hair. She's got a beautiful face. Is she here?

Mother Superior: Our retreats are based on confidentiality.

Olivia: I understand, but this is a family emergency.

Mother Superior: I'm sorry.

Olivia: Look, what if I told you that she's in pain, that she's suffering? And that God himself sent me here to alleviate that pain, to show her the way? Because it's true.

Mother Superior: My child, I have seen many angels. The Lord is telling me you are not one of them.

Olivia: I don't believe this.

Doris: You ready to go?

Olivia: No, no. Because I'm going to be barred from the next place, like I was in this one and the one before that.

Doris: What are you going to do?

Olivia: Watch me.

Doris: Olivia!

Mother Superior: Stop here.

Olivia: I want to go in and see her.

Doris: Olivia, you're going to get arrested.

Mother Superior: Stop right there!

Olivia: Natalia! Natalia, I know you can hear me. Even if you're not here, I know you can! Because I love you and you love me! And when two people love each other like this, they shouldn't be kept apart! And it's confusing! And it's not easy, but nothing worthwhile ever is, so you come down here and you let me talk to you! You let me make you understand! Natalia!

Bill: Hey.

Dinah: Whoa, hi. Hi.

Lizzie: We're glad you're okay.

Dinah: Yeah.

Bill: Yeah, we... we heard Jeffrey’s plane went down and we thought that maybe you...

Dinah: Yeah, well, everybody thought... I'm sorry if I worried anyone.

Bill: Is there any word on Jeffrey? I mean, do we know what happened?

Dinah: Nothing, yet.

Lizzie: ( Clears throat ) Ask her.

Bill: I don't know if now is...

Lizzie: Ask her.

Dinah: Ask me what?

Bill: Lizzie and I are getting married tomorrow, noon, Rock Church. And... we would love for you to be there.

Dinah: Wait, you want me to come to your wedding after everything I've done to you both.

Lizzie: Wait, you know what? We're using tomorrow as a way to start over. You and Bill. Me and James. The past is in the past.

Dinah: And do you feel the same way?

Bill: I want my sister at my wedding.

Dinah: Then there's no other place I'd rather be. No other place. Get it. ( Laughter )

Marina: Mallet!

Mallet: Right behind you.

Marina: Oh. Hi. Where were you?

Mallet: At the station talking to Reva. Where were you?

Marina: I was out with Henry, like you said.

Mallet: Hey, bud. Are you sleepy? Huh? He looks sleepy.

Marina: I'm sorry that I went off before about the whole Edmund thing. I... I think I'm just scared, you know? I just want to make sure that Henry’s safe.

Mallet: Yeah, I understand. I'm scared, too. I think when I solve this case and we figure out where Edmund is, we'll all sleep a lot better.

Marina: What are you looking for?

Mallet: Henry's inheritance from Edmund.

Marina: It's not here.

Mallet: Well, where is it? I wanted to go through it. There might be something useful in there.

Marina: I burned it.

Mallet: You did what? You're kidding right?

Marina: I'm sorry. I wanted it to go away, you know? I didn’t... I didn't like the fact that Edmund is related to Henry and... and that he seems to have some kind of power over him, over all of his... I didn't think it would be some kind of piece of evidence. I don’t...

Mallet: You didn't think it was evidence?

Marina: No.

Mallet: You didn't think... there's nothing left?

Marina: No, I'm sorry, okay? I... I didn't want Henry to find it someday. When he got older, I didn't want him to ask us questions and have pictures to look at. I... I just... I wanted it all to go away. I would do anything to make Edmund go away.

Shayne: So, wait a minute. Does Mom want me to come?

Josh: I don't know. I don't know. I don't care. That's not the point. She can't go by herself, and I can't go with her because...

Shayne: Because you promised Jeffrey that you would keep your distance while he was gone. I think things have changed a little bit since then, Dad.

Josh: No, some things have not changed. A promise is a promise.

Shayne: Okay, I respect that. Nobody's heard from Jeffrey in hours. The local authorities should have found something by now. Dad, for all we know, his plane has disintegrated.

Josh: I understand that, but there's still hope. And until we know for sure...

Shayne: Wow. You have more integrity than any man I know. You know that?

Josh: Yeah.

Shayne: Now you're doing this for Jeffrey right now, right, but the fact of it is that you have known and loved Mom for a hell of a lot longer, so I'm trying to figure... who exactly do you owe here?

Reva: Okay, Rachel, thank you so much. I'm just going to pack some of his things, and I'll be over in a bit. Okay. I'm so sorry you can't go on this trip with me. But this isn't a trip for a little guy like you, no it's not. Because you know why? You know why? I have got to go find your daddy. I'm going to go find your daddy and help him, you know. You remember Daddy. See Daddy? That's Daddy. That's Daddy up there. You remember this Daddy, don't you? Daddy with a silly guitar. Yeah, the daddy with the silly guitar. Oh, yeah. I need to go find your daddy and bring him home. Bring him back home where he belongs. Bring him back home where he belongs.

Doris: All right, next stop is Mother of Mercy. Now, we can get there two different ways. We can continue on this, down highway nine or take this little access road over here and we can get the freeway. Which way do you want to go?

Olivia: West.

Doris: West? That's, like, the totally wrong direction.

Olivia: I meant go home.

Doris: Home? Why?

Olivia: Because I'm... I'm not a fool. I just stood out there bellowing to the heavens like I'm in some Tennessee Williams play. I mean, what the hell?

Doris: What are you going to do? You're just going to give up? You're not going to try to find her?

Olivia: She doesn't want to be found.

Doris: What if...

Olivia: I don't want to be pathetic. She pushed me away. I'm going home.

Lizzie: What a completely insane day. First, we think your sister's dead. Then we find out that she's not. Then you two make up. You take the vows to Josh. I get the parking permits.

Bill: You know what took us over the top?

Lizzie: What?

Bill: That whole parking permit business.

Lizzie: I think it did. I'm exhausted.

Bill: Me, too. You think maybe we should just go to bed, rest up for the big day tomorrow?

Lizzie: Oh, yeah. No. Not before the wedding.

Bill: What?

Lizzie: It's bad luck.

Bill: Are you suggesting that I sleep somewhere else?

Lizzie: Are you asking me to break that wedding tradition?

Bill: ( Laughs ) Are you serious?

Lizzie: I'm serious.

Bill: Where am I going to go?

Lizzie: I don't know. Maybe Billy will take you in.

Bill: Are you...

Lizzie: Uh-huh.

Bill: Okay, fine. Fine, I will leave. I'll probably get mugged or knifed, end up freezing on a park bench. Probably get a cold.

Lizzie: Here. That'll keep you warm. Don't get cold.

Bill: Wait a minute.

Lizzie: Yeah.

Bill: Wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait! Okay.

Lizzie: I love you.

Bill: Okay.

Lizzie: Get out of here.

Shayne: Where's Marina?

Dinah: She's long gone. Where have you been?

Shayne: I ran into my dad in the stairwell. He's worried about my mom.

Dinah: You are, too.

Shayne: She's getting on a plane and going down to Florida. He wants me to go with her, but I told him it's not my place. I'm going to stay here. Just in case.

Dinah: In case Edmund shows up?

Shayne: In case you need protecting.

Dinah: In case you need to protect your son. I know it's hard for you and Marina and Mallet and it's understandable. If you weren't worried, I'd think something's wrong.

Shayne: You're amazing, you know that? Thank you.

Dinah: You're welcome.

Marina: Hey, babe, I want to give Henry a bath. Can you come help me?

Mallet: Yeah, sure. I'll be right up.

Reva: Okay, you and Rachel are going to have so much fun together. Okay. Come on, cowboy. I'm going to go round up your daddy. There we go. Okay.

Josh: We better go. Traffic to the airport is tough at this time of day. I'll take that for you. Hopefully the weather is better in Florida than it is here.

Next week, on "Guiding Light"...

Bill: We will be getting married in a few hours, and you will be my wife.

Lizzie: Yay.

Bill: Not as bad as it looks.

Lizzie: Our wedding cake and all the food for our guests is laying on the ground.

Mallet: Did you know that our stroller is broken?

Marina: How'd that happen?

Mallet: I don't know. I was hoping you would know. I mean, it's quite a break. It would've taken quite a blow.

Marina: It fell outside?
