Previously on "Guiding Light"...

D.A.: I was going to hand over a list of the charges.

Beth: The D.A. stopped by with a list of charges. It's looking like James could be sentenced to up to 850 years in prison.

Phillip: What?

D.A.: Your son hurt a lot of people.

James: I'm going to... I'm going to go to prison.

Rafe: What's my mom doing at your family day?

Emma: It's no secret that our mom's like each other.

Frank: I just wanted to get a place on my own, you know, get a fresh start.

Judge: The charge against your son are very serious. 312 counts of fraud.

Phillip: And I take it very seriously, your Honor. But I... I feel that as a father, I may have overreacted when I turned my son in. And I was just wondering if there wasn't some way I could persuade you to be lenient.

Judge: Well, I'm a father, too, and I understand. But I have three concerns. First, your son. The crimes he committed are significant. How can we make him see the error of his ways? Second, the victims. How do we restore their belief in the system? And finally, myself. How do I maintain my integrity if I judge your son differently than I would judge someone else's?

Phillip: Well those are all valid concerns. I may have answers. First, I believe that my son has already seen the error of his ways. And I think it could take very little, on the part of the court, to keep him in line. Second, I have already made arrangements for the fund to be refinanced. The investors should be seeing principal and interest in their accounts within the next few hours. And as far as you and your integrity are concerned, an offshore account has been set up. That's what's been deposited so far. Now, should this trial turn out the way I would like it to, you may add a zero to that number. You've made a good decision. My son will be a good man.

Beth: I'd like to know where your lawyer is. The arraignment is supposed to start soon and I need to talk to him about getting some of these charges dropped.

James: Chill, Mom, all right? He's showing up. You paid him.

Beth: And what is with the rest of the family? Don't they understand how important this is? You could go to prison.

James: They've all been to prison. ( Laughs ) It's not that big a deal to them.

Beth: Honey, listen to me. Now, I know you like to act like you don't care about anything, but you need to drop that act when you get in the courtroom. The judge is not going to understand that you're just covering how scared you are by acting cool. He's just going to think that you're an ass.

James: I'm not stupid, okay. I'm not going to screw this up.

Beth: Great, that makes me feel better. Finally.

Alex: Ah, well, now. You don't look so worse for the wear.

James: You got any tips for me Aunt Alex? Granddad? Going to the big house.

Beth: James. This isn't a joke.

James: I'm just keeping it real.

Lizzie: Do we have to go back to the office?

Bill: You know what? The work day's almost over. I don't think we do.

Lizzie: Do we have to go back tomorrow?

Bill: Tomorrow? Wait a minute, now. Are you changing on me? What happened to that business dynamo, Lizzie Spaulding? What happened to her?

Lizzie: I don't know. I won at tug of war and now work seemed less important.

Bill: ( Laughs ) It does, doesn't it?

Lizzie: Yeah.

Bill: I know what you mean because I don't want to go back to the office until I beat you at tug of war.

Lizzie: You know we've been competing from the beginning, right?

Bill: A little bit.

Lizzie: Remember when you stole the company from me?

Bill: Well, that's a strong word.

Lizzie: Yeah, and then I stole it back from you.

Bill: Kind of... I gave it to you.

Lizzie: And then we stole it from my grandfather. ( Laughs )

Bill: Yes, we did. ( Laughs ) Those were... those were good times.

Lizzie: No, no, not really.

Bill: No?

Lizzie: Doesn't sound good at all. Nothing about working at the company sounds good at all anymore. We should just bag the whole thing.

Bill: Bag the whole thing? We can do that.

Lizzie: What, we just quit? Walk away?

Bill: Well, why not? I mean, Diane Keaton did it in "Baby Boom," right? What are yo... I love that movie. You don't love that movie?

Lizzie: ( Laughs)

Bill: Sam Shepherd? Come on.

Lizzie: Okay, okay, okay. So what are we going to do? We're going to write a letter of resignation?

Bill: No, no, no, nothing that dramatic. I think maybe we should do something a little low key, like... yeah, press conference. All right?

Rafe: Why are you doing that?

Natalia: We're getting ready for dinner.

Rafe: With freaking champagne, Ma?

Natalia: Yes, you got a new job. Olivia thought it would be nice to celebrate.

Olivia: I brought cider for you and Emma, sparkling cider.

Rafe: Oh, I... I'm not talking to you right now, seriously.

Natalia: Don't talk to her like that.

Rafe: Excuse me?

Natalia: Have a little respect, please.

Rafe: Oh, I'm sorry. I'm supposed to respect my elders, right?

Natalia: Yes.

Rafe: And I'm supposed to mind my manners, and I'm supposed to go to church, and I'm supposed to read the bible. And I'm supposed to do all those other rules and regulations that God and... and people have given us.

Natalia: What is... what is wrong with you

Rafe: Ma! What the heck was going on just now? Tell me, all right? Please, just tell me.

Natalia: Oh, my God. I didn't want you to find out like this.

Olivia: Look, Rafe, your mother was waiting for you to get settled in before she said anything to you.

Natalia: How did...

Rafe: I'm not stupid. All right, I may have done a lot of stupid things in my life, but I'm not stupid.

Olivia: We're friends. We really didn't expect any of this to happen.

Emma: I brought a vase for the flowers. Can we go pick them?

Olivia: You know what? I forgot I had something to do back at the hotel, so I'm going to take you back there. I think Jane is still there.

Emma: But I'm going to stay with Natalia and Rafe. I brought a movie to watch later. It's good. You're going to like it.

Natalia: We can... we can watch the movie some other time, okay?

Olivia: Yeah. Come on, baby it's going to be okay.

Rafe: Mom, please... please just tell me she forced you into this. I mean, I know she has a reputation. Tell me she... she did something to you, she has something on you.

Natalia: Stop it, Rafe. Of course she didn't force me into anything.

Rafe: Oh, no? Ma, I've seen you guys on the porch today. She looked like she was going to...

Natalia: Okay, please, please. I didn't intend for you to find out like that ever. ( Sighs )

Rafe: What are we going to do, Ma? You just going to keep lying to me and pretend like this wasn’t... wasn't happening? That you guys were just friends? Unless what? Until I found out on my own?

Natalia: Until, until, until you were ready.

Rafe: Oh, my God!

Natalia: Until we could figure out the right way to tell you and when to tell you. We were going to... we were going to both tell Emma.

Rafe: What? Ma, she's a little a girl. What kind of thing is it to tell a little kid? What does that say about... what does that say about you and Gus? Ma, what does that say about me?

Natalia: It has nothing to do with how I feel about you...

Rafe: Ma, look...

Natalia: ...Or about Gus. If anything...

Rafe: Please, stop, just tell me. Tell me this is some type of weird itch you need to scratch, please. Tell me that's all it is, and it's going to.... and it’s... it'll be over soon.

Natalia: I can't tell you that.

Rafe: Why?

Natalia: I can’t.

Rafe: Why?

Natalia: If you're old enough to ask the question, then you're old enough to hear the answer. I'm in love with Olivia.

Re: ( Laughs ) Okay, all right.

Frank: Lynn.

Billy: Hey, thank you.

Lynn: Here you go.

Frank: Billy boy, what's up buddy?

Billy: Hey, great... you... you want some pie?

Frank: Uh, yeah, sure.

Billy: All right, got him? Thanks.

Frank: Sure, I got... I got a few minutes. Absolutely, why not?

Billy: Frank, I do want to say how sorry I was to hear about you and Natalia. I mean, it's got to be tough.

Frank: Yeah, it’s... it has been tough. But, you know, Billy, I just got an apartment.

Billy: Oh, yeah?

Frank: So I'm kind of, you know, giving myself a little fresh start, you know?

Billy: Good, you're a good man. You're... you're going to find the right woman soon enough.

Frank: Yeah, maybe, maybe.

Billy: Yeah, good.

Frank: But how about your son and Lizzie, huh?

Billy: Mmm.

Frank: They're very happy. I bet you they could probably glow in the dark.

Billy: Yeah, yup. They finally got it right. I mean, hey, it took my son long enough, but you know, he finally saw what was right in front of his face. He gets that from me. ( Laughs )

Frank: Good for him.

Billy: Yeah.

Frank: Yeah, they seem to have it all.

Billy: That they do.

Lizzie: So, what? We quit, announce it on TV and then go live on the beach.

Bill: ( Sighs ) Well, we could do whatever we want, right? I mean, really. But I think we should have the press conference first.

Lizzie: Why?

Bill: Because once we announce it to the world, we can't back out.

Lizzie: Well, we could.

Bill: Well, of course, we could, but it'd be a little embarrassing.

Lizzie: That's true.

Ashlee: Here you go.

Bill: Hey.

Lizzie: Oh, hey.

Bill: Ashlee, question for you. If we wanted to hold a press conference, what do we have to do to accomplish that?

Ashlee: Mmm, it depends on how big you want it. Like, if you want hundreds of media outlets, that... that'll take a while. But, I mean, if you just want to go to WSPR and... and break into the evening news, see who else picks it up.

Bill: Well, do you know anyone who could make that happen?

Beth: Well, I'm glad you could show up. I was starting to doubt you were going to make it.

Alan: Beth, Mark Nathan is the finest defense attorney in this state. Don't worry, James is going to be in excellent hands.

Phillip: Hey, I tried to see James, but they won't let me see him this close to the arraignment.

Beth: Uh, I don't think he wants to see you.

Phillip: Well, no, but I need to tell him something before the trial.

Bet Phillip, he doesn't want to see you. What... what do you... what do you want me... I mean...

James: It's going to be okay, Mom.

Alex: James, darling, I just want you to know that we are... we're all here for you.

Alan: It's not easy being a Spaulding, son. Someone's always trying to take you down.

Phillip: James.

Bailiff: You may be seated.

Judge: Will the defendant please rise? I don't think those handcuffs are needed. Officer would you remove them? It appears the state has dropped the ball. Most of these charges are no longer valid. According to the evidence presented by the defense, all 312 of the victims have had their money returned. No fraud, no theft.

D.A.: Your Honor, returning the money shouldn't negate the crime.

Judge: If the money has been returned, no crime was actually committed. So the only remaining charge is the violation of the anti-fraud provision. Mr. Spaulding, stand up. You and I need to have a little talk. You can either take your chances with the jury, which could work out well for you, you're very dynamic young man. Or I could pass a sentence right now, but you'd have to live by my decry. How would you like to proceed?

James: Um, I don't know. Are you doing this because you want to help me or are you doing this because you know someone that lost money in my fund?

Judge: That's a valid question, shows how bright you are. You're a young man with your whole life in front of you. If I thought you understood the gravity of your actions and we could find a suitable punishment that would help you tow the line in the future, I'd be inclined to help you.

James: I... I understand, your Honor. I've had... I've had time to think about my choices and how they have caused pain for others. And if I had the opportunity to do the same thing in the future, I'd choose a better path with proper guidance, of course.

Judge: I take it you're waving you're rights to a trial.

James: Yes, I am.

Judge: Well, then this court finds you guilty of violating the anti-fraud provision, and we sentence you to one year community service. Court is adjourned.( Gavel pounds ) You're free to go. ( Murmuring )

Beth: ( Ughs )

James: Oh... I didn't expect that.

Beth: Well, he saw what a fine young man you are. That's all.

Alan: Well, this is cause for celebration, huh?

Alex: Absolutely, I'm going to call a cook right now, tell her to prepare something very special.

Alan: ( Laughs )

Beth: Okay.

Phillip: That was a well thought out decision, your Honor. I'm sure my son will live up to your expectations.

Judge: I'm sure he will.

Beth: I guess you made this happen.

Phillip: I couldn't let our son go to jail.

Beth: Thank you.

Phillip: Mmm... don’t.

Beth: Phillip, please, please. You have to tell James. He has to know what you did for him.

Phillip: ( Sighs )

Lizzie: Okay, okay.

Bill: You all right?

Lizzie: So we're going to do this.

Bill: Yeah.

Lizzie: We're going to do this. We are going to step down as C.E.O.'s.

Bill: Yeah. I mean, we... we can back out. Do you want to back out?

Lizzie: No, no, not on your life.

Ashlee: Okay, okay, guys. They're... they're throwing it to us, okay? Here we go... in five... four... three...

Lizzie: Hello, I'm Lizzie Spaulding.

Bill: And I'm Bill Lewis. For the past year, we have been Co-C.E.O.’s of Spaulding-Lewis. It's been an exciting year, but it's time for a change.

Lizzie: So effective immediately, we are resigning our commissions.

Alan: Turn. Turn that up.

Lizzie: We wish the company-- and all it's employees-- well.

Bill: The board is solid and will take care of the company until the next C.E.O. is named.

Alex: What the hell are they doing?

Lizzie: Thank you.

Alan: Being fools.

Bill: Wait... I changed my mind.

Lizzie: Um, you don't want to resign?

Bill: I'm not done talking. We would also like to take this opportunity to announce our wedding date.

Lizzie: We didn't choose a wedding date.

Bill: I know, so pick one.

Lizzie: I can't do that live on television, you know that.

Bill: Are you sure? Ashlee?

Ashlee: Yeah.

Bill: Could you give us a date, please?

Ashlee: Uh... yeah, totally. Um, I... how about, um... July 13th.

Bill: I think that's perfect, sounds great.

Lizzie: Wow, that's soon. That's really soon.

Ashlee: ( Giggles ) Okay.

Bill: Well, there you have it. That's all folks.

Ashlee: Is there anything else?

Lizzie: No, we're done.

Ashlee: Okay, okay. Okay, we're out. We're out. That was amazing.

Lizzie: We're getting married in 29 days.

Bill: We are getting married in 29 days, and it can't come soon enough for me. Ooooh... 29 days, baby. ( Laughs ) Perfect.

Ashlee: ( Laughs )

Alex: Oh dear, I know that look.

Alan: ( Chuckles ) I’m back, Alex. It's my time again. My time to sit in the big chair.

Olivia: Yeah, Jane, look, I will be home as soon as I can, okay? Okay, bye.

Billy: You know, it's those olives, they... they make you real thirsty.

Olivia: Yeah, not today, Billy. I can't do this, okay?

Billy: Well, that's usually when you need to sit down and have to have a talk about why those olives are making you so thirsty.

Olivia: You wouldn't understand.

Billy: Try me.

Olivia: I can’t. It would mean betraying the trust of someone that I love.

Natalia: Rafe.

Rafe: Ma, don't believe it, all right? I won't believe it. I refuse to believe this, all right? Can... please just tell me what she has on you.

Natalia: Oh, come on, Rafe.

Rafe: What does she got on you, Ma? Ma, you don't love her!

Natalia: I do.

Rafe: You don't, no! Not that way, Ma. She... look, she has Gus' heart, I get that, all right. And... and... you guys... you guys have that in common. And you got confused, one thing led to another, and she took advantage of you.

Natalia: No, she didn't take advantage of me, Rafe, please! Olivia's got a strong personality, but that's what I love about her. She makes me feel better about myself. And when I'm with her, it feels right. And I need here.

Rafe: Ma? Maybe you did. Maybe you did because Gus passed away and I was in prison, but Mom, I'm back now. All right, I'm back, and I can take care of you just fine. You can... you can end all this stuff before it gets any weirder, please.

Natalia: It's not weird, Rafe. It's love. And I don't want to end it. I want us to be a family, and I understand that that's a lot to take in right now, but as soon as you can get over this anger and you're confusion...

Rafe: Ma? You want us to be a family? Who? What, me and you and Olivia and Emma?

Natalia: Yes.

Rafe: Are you serious?

Natalia: Yes! You love Emma, and she loves you like you're her big brother, and that's what counts. That's what you hold on to.

Rafe: What about all the years that we spend in church, huh? What about all the time we spent lighting candles? What about all the time I spent on my knees praying, huh? What about the man that I'm supposed to be and the world that I'm supposed to believe in. None of that means nothing to you, at all. All you care about is you and Olivia, and what you guys get, right? If that's the case, then both of you can go. Both of you can just go to hell, all right? Because that’s... that's where you're going to go anyways.

Natalia: Rafe.

Rafe: No.

Natalia: Please.

Rafe: No, Ma, you know what? Go! Go get your girl because you guys deserve each other.

Natalia: Rafe.

Rafe: Bye! Bye!

Natalia: Rafe!

Natalia: Frank, have you seen Rafe?

Frank: Hey. Well, he might have come by when I was at the park.

Natalia: Okay, um, if you do see him will you just either tell him to call me or... or you know, just try to keep him here or... you know what, forget it. You call me. You just call me if you see him.

Frank: What happened?

Natalia: He found out about me and Olivia.

Frank: You told him?

Natalia: I was going to tell him, but he... he saw us and then he figured it out

Frank: How could you guys be so careless? How could you let that happen?

Natalia: Frank, please, I feel bad enough as it is. I'm... I'm going to find him now, just...

Olivia: Hi, hey, can we talk?

Doris: Ugh, this is my alone time.

Olivia: I really... I really need to talk to you, please. I don't know... I don't know who else to turn to.

Doris: What is it?

Olivia: You know that... that Natalia and I have been taking things slow. And we... we wanted to be very cautious because of the kids and... we wanted to tell Rafe first, but he's been having such a hard time since he got out of prison... I mean, the good news is that he actually got a job today.

Doris: Well, I know that. I made sure that he got it. Look, I know that you and Natalia wanted to wait for him to get settled and I just thought I would help you out.

Olivia: He's excited about it.

Doris: That's good.

Olivia: We're excited about it. And we got hopeful and we wanted to celebrate, and... Rafe saw us together... close. And he figured it out. And he didn't take it well.

Doris: Yeah, well, that's a hell of a way to find out.

Olivia: I know. And Natalia wanted so much to protect him, to keep it easier for him so that he could understand.

Doris: Well, maybe... maybe he still will.

Olivia: Yeah, maybe.

Bill: ( Laughs ) Hello.

Vanessa: Hello.

Billy: Oh, we just saw you on the tube, and you read the news flash, "Bill Lewis turns his back on corporate life."

Bill: Yes, it's a beautiful thing, it is. It is. Just like Mom did.

Billy: Oh.

Vanessa: Um, you left something out of that press conference. What's next?

Billy: Yeah.

Bill: Well we're getting married.

Billy: Uh-huh.

Vanessa: That I know. I'm talking about work.

Bill: Work? Well, you know, I still got a few bucks in the bank, so I think I'll be okay.

Vanessa: Honey, no. Being out of work does not become you.

Billy: No, no, your mom's right. And besides, you're much too young to retire.

Bill: No, no, no, listen, if the right opportunity comes along, I will consider it.

Billy: You mean starting out in the mailroom at H.B. and Sons wasn't what you had in mind?

Vanessa: ( Laughs )

Bill: Well, I haven't thought about it. Let's see, if I could be V.P. of the mailroom...

Billy: Hey, I would love work with you. I would make you V.P. in charge of V.P.'s. deal? Deal.

Bill: Deal.

Billy: Whooo, whoo, whoo.

Bill: ( Laughs )

Alan: We're going to have to call a board meeting. We're going to have to elect a new C.E.O. and, of course, I'm nominating myself. Um, I'll talk to you more about this a little later.

Lizzie: You do not waste any time.

Alan: Well, somebody had to step up. You stepped down and left us high and dry.

Lizzie: I knew you'd figure it out. But I actually came to talk to you about something else. On July 13, Bill and I are getting married, and then I say I do, I want to be Lizzie Lewis 100%. So I would like to sell you share of the family stock.

Alan: You want to buy your way out of this family?

Lizzie: It's really not that dramatic, Granddad. It's not. I just want my life to only about Bill and me.

Alan: Your life is about being a Spaulding, and it always will be, whether you want it to or not, Elizabeth.

Beth: Okay, so, they... they say you should be out of here in a few minutes.

James: That was pretty great, huh? The judge was a great guy. I'm going to take him golfing. He really understands me.

Beth: Honey, um, there's something that you need to know. What happened in that courtroom wasn't because of the judge. It was because of your father.

James: Well, yeah. Of course it happened because of Dad, he's the one that got me arrested.

Beth: And he is also the one that got the judge to drop the charges and get you a lenient sentence.

James: How?

Beth: He paid off the judge. He didn't want you to go to prison. He just wanted you to understand what you did. And he knows that you won't do it again. He didn't want to see you suffer, honey. Your father loves you so much.

Phillip: Hi. James almost ready?

Alex: Almost. It's extraordinary how this all turned out, wasn't it? You getting the judge to change his mind.

Phillip: How did you know?

Alex: That's what we do. Don't feel too badly about it, though, darling. Every generation wants to do better than the last. We never do. I didn’t. Alan's just like Brandon. You're becoming more like Alan everyday, and James is going to probably end up just like you.

Beth: He'll be right down. I told him what you did for him.

Phillip: I wish you hadn't done that.

Beth: He needs to know how much you love him.

Alex: Hey, there.

Beth: So I called Bruno, he's bringing the car.

Alex: And I have let the cook know, and she is preparing all of your favorites.

James: Thank you, Aunt Alex.

Alex: Mmmmm.

Phillip: I'm glad things worked out for you.

James: You are such a hypocrite.

Phillip: It's hard for you to understand, James. And maybe one of these days...

James: I know what you did, Dad, and now I hate you even more

Lizzie: This is what I think you will need right away.

Alan: I'm not buying your stock.

Lizzie: Yes, you are because if you don't, I will sell it on the open market and then it won't be in the family anymore.

Alan: Elizabeth, I can't believe it's so easy for you to leave our family.

Lizzie: Easy? I've been trying for years. It didn't happen all at once, but now that I have Bill I... just... I'm already gone. And it's good. And I'm happy. I know you want me to be happy.

Alan: Of course, I do, baby. Of course, I do. All right, I'm... I'm not going to buy these stocks, but I will keep them for you until you come to your senses and realize that everything you are is because you are a Spaulding.

Lizzie: Well, I... I already know that.

Alan: Wait a minute. Is tha..

Lizzie: Yes, yes. This is the briefcase that you gave me when I was a little girl. And I use it every day. And I'm going to keep it with me, always.

Billy: Okay, now that you work for me.

Bill: Here it comes.

Billy: Yeah. When do you think you want to start?

Bill: Well, I was thinking, maybe after the honeymoon.

Billy: Oh, good. Honeymoon... July. So maybe... beginning of August.

Bill: Don't think I'll be back by then.

Vanessa: You don't think you'll be back by then. When do you think you'll be back?

Bill: Can't really say, Mom. But I think it will probably be before Christmas. That's a safe bet, definitely.

Billy: Oh.

Vanessa: Oh, funny, I'm getting the idea that we shouldn't try and, exactly, pin him down.

Bill: No, no, look. I'll tell you what we need to do is pin down one thing. Who's going to be my best man when I marry the love of my life?

Billy: Mmm. Are you asking?

Bill: I'm asking.

Bill: Whooo, whooo, whooo then I would love to. ( Laughs ) Come here, yeah.

Bill: Thanks, Dad.

Billy: Yeah.

Olivia: You should have seen Rafe's face. I mean... Natalia's talking to him right now. Should I go over there?

Doris: No, just... you know what? Give... give them some time. I mean, that's a lot for a kid to take in all at once.

Olivia: I know that. I just don't want her to feel like she's alone with this. Is... it's terrible because it's not what we wanted, it's not. We were waiting for the perfect moment.

Doris: You know what? I waited for the perfect moment, and that moment never came. Ashlee still doesn't know. Look, you know what? Maybe it's just perfect that this is the way he found out.

Olivia: I hope so.

Ashlee: Hey! Hi.

Doris: Hi, hi, hi. Ashlee, I wasn't expecting you.

Ashlee: No, did you see the press conference with Bill and Lizzie?

Doris: Yes, I did.

Ashlee: I planned that in, like, less than a half-hour.

Doris: Honey, I'm so proud of you.

Ashlee: Oh, thanks. Oh, hey. I'm sorry for interrupting. I figured you guys would be alone.

Doris: No, we... that's fine.

Olivia: Yeah.

Doris: We were just talking about children and the importance of doing the right thing with them.

Frank: Are you okay

Rafe: No.

Frank: Yeah.

Rafe: Frank, could I... could I stay over here with you for a little while, you think, maybe?

Frank: Yeah, yeah.

Rafe: Yeah?

( Slow music playing )

Phillip: Thank you.

Alex: It's hard when it's your turn, isn't it? ( Laughs ) I mean, it's not you. It happens to all of us. We have children, they grow up. They hate us. ( Laughs ) Then they grow out of that and they love us again.

Phillip: James is right. I deserve this. I am a hypocrite.

Alex: Who isn't?

Lawyer: James left without taking his personal items.

Phillip: Okay, thanks. You want to give these to him when you see him.

Alex: Why? Aren't you coming to dinner?

Phillip: No, I... I think he needs a little space.

Alex: ( Scoffs ) Okay, just don't be too hard on yourself, darling.

Beth: Honey?

James: If you came to talk to me about Dad, don’t.

Beth: I just really wanted to tell you that things are going to be different from now on. We're... we're going to spend more time together. And I'm really looking forward to that.

James: Yeah, yeah, me too.

Chase: Come on, James, time to celebrate. Bye James' mom. ( Yelling ) Yeah, man, you are free. Free!

Lizzie: You are going to be so handsome in that tuxedo.

Billy: Whooo!

Vanessa: You are going to be very handsome in your tuxedo as long as you don't drop anything on it.

Billy: No pie before wedding.

Bill: Good rule.

Lizzie: I think that you will probably be the most handsome man at the wedding.

Bill: Well, wait a minute. Now what does that make me. What am I going to be?

Lizzie: You're not a man, you're my husband.

Bill: Oh, I'm in trouble. ( Laughter ) Trouble, trouble. ( Laughter )

Vanessa: You know what, I wish everybody had a chance to be happy the way the two of you are happy right now.

Billy: Hey, weddings keep people happy.

Lizzie: Yeah.

Bill: Mmm, mmm, mmm.

Vanessa: Okay.

Billy: All right.

Bill: Oh, oh, sorry. That wasn't a...

Lizzie: ( Laughs )

Bill: You don't have to.

Vanessa: I think the two of want to be alone.

Billy: Yeah, see ya.

Vanessa: Bye, sweetheart.

Lizzie: Bye, bye.

Bill: Thanks again, Dad.

Billy: Yeah.

Lizzie: They're so cute.

Bill: You're so cute

Lizzie: Mmm?

Bill: Mmm.

Lizzie: Mmm.

Frank: ( Sighs )

Rafe: I had to leave my house, man. My mom and Olivia are... I think... I think they're, like, together or something.

Frank: Yeah, I know. Here.

Rafe: Hmm?

Frank: Take a sip. Just this once.

Rafe: ( Laughs ) All right, all right.

Olivia: Is he here?

Natalia: No.

Olivia: Do we need to go look for him?

Natalia: No. He'll just come home when he's ready.

Olivia: What did he say?

Natalia: He's very angry, confused.

Olivia: I'm sorry. It wasn't fair for him to find out like this.

Natalia: I didn't do a very good job of explaining. Didn't really get to say all the things that I really wanted to say.

Olivia: So what does this mean for us?

Natalia: I don't know.

Coming up on "Guiding Light"...

Jeffrey: It seems that Edmund was cremated and his ashes scattered across the lake.

Shayne: I I.D'ed the body and then took off. Mom took care of the rest.

Jeffrey: I think Reva’s in some serious trouble.

Josh: Reva ordered the cremation?

Christina: He asked me to marry him again. He got the diamond. He was going to let me choose the setting.

Reva: I was just wondering if you might do just one more teeny-tiny little favor for me? Drop the charges.
