Previously on "Guiding Light"...

Bill: Lizzie and I, we are starting over, starting fresh.

Dinah: Well, the money is not here and Grady’s not here.

Cyrus: I've got to find him. You're thinking he took the money you gave him and left?

Lizzie: I dropped the bag when I realized he was the kidnapper. He probably grabbed it and ran.

Cyrus: But you never saw him take the money?

Lizzie: No.

Cyrus: If the money's still in the warehouse, that means that Grady could still be in town.

Bill: Hey, Birdie, Birdie, Birdie, what are you doing? What are you doing, huh? (Cell phone rings) Look at that. I was supposed to call her, but I guess we are so cute that she couldn't wait. Hello? Is this the Lizzie Spaulding I met in the park, the one with the beautiful...

Lizzie: I can't play that game with you right now. I really just need the real Bill. Listen, I have to go to the police station and make a statement about Grady and the kidnapping.

Bill: Are you okay?

Lizzie: No, I'm not. But I can do this. I just, um... I just maybe would like it if you were there with me.

Bill: Yeah. I'll pick you up.

Lizzie: No, don't worry about it. Just... just meet me there. I'm going to be there in 30 minutes.

Bill: Okay. I'll see you there. Bye-bye. Birdie, our walk is going to have to be a quick one because Lizzie needs me, okay?

Frank: Okay, Henry, your grandfather. Yes, I did say grandfather, didn't I? Be back later, buddy. I'm going to go to the station, okay, pal?

Mallet: See you later.

Frank: Oh, hey, you know what? Make sure that water is boiling, because that's the only way it's really going to sterilize and get clean. Okay?

Marina: Dad, we've been over this like a million times.

Mallet: Who knew that something so small could poop so much? This is my third load today.

Frank: I don't know. If you think poop is bad, wait till they turn 16 and start causing trouble.

Marina: Oh, no, no, no, no. Don't you listen to him. Don't you listen to him. You're not going to give us any trouble, are you?

Frank: Keep dreaming. Keep dreaming.

Marina: Don't you have someplace to go?

Frank: I do, actually. I've got to go to the station. Lizzie is going to give you a new statement. Now that we think that Grady is involved, she's got to go over all of the events again.

Mallet: Do you want some help with that?

Frank: What? No, man, you guys are on family leave here. This is where you should be. If I need anything, I'll call.

Marina: Okay.

Frank: See you.

Mallet: Boil that!

Marina: Yeah. You know, I can't wait for my grandfather to meet Henry, but I've got to be honest. I'm really glad he and Daisy are out of town right now. This whole thing with Grady...

Mallet: Do you think Buzz and Daisy will find Grady?

Marina: I hope not.

Daisy: Okay, so I guess he didn't stay here, either.

Buzz: Well, that's it. It looks like the end of the line for us.

Daisy: When I was in school, I met Grady. He always stayed in hotels in this neighborhood. He knows people here.

Buzz: You know, that was years ago. They're all gone by now.

Daisy: All right, so where do you want to go now? Because this place is all we have. Mallet did a check. He didn't use his credit cards recently, so he must be staying with someone he knows.

Buzz: Oh, who his friends are. Who are his friends? The drug dealers-- they moved. They're gone.

Daisy: All right. So what do you want? You want to get on a plane? Let's go to Australia. Maybe he's staying with some family.

Buzz: Oh, and find his real family?

Daisy: No, he doesn't have any family!

Buzz: Do you know who they are?

Daisy: All we have is this list. I'm going to go be in the car.

Buzz: Jenna?

Alan: Well, I just spoke to my lawyer, who informs me that the grand jury investigating Tammy Winslow’s accident will not-- I repeat-- will not reconvene. It seems that Grady Foley not testifying against me did the trick. So, Phillip, I'm celebrating, because I'm a free man.

Phillip: You know, it's actually a little early for me to celebrate, because I'm still facing charges.

Alan: Listen, have you seen Elizabeth? I haven't really spent much time with her since I've been dealing with this ordeal of mine.

Phillip: Your ordeal? Yeah, hmm. Well, you know, actually I think she has probably been through a little bit more than you have lately.

Alan: Yes, but that's changed, now that Grady is out of the picture. I can't wait to tell her-- tell her the good news.

Phillip: Before or after you tell her that you framed Bill for her kidnapping? You didn't want Lizzie with Bill, so you had him framed, made her doubt him, so she would have only you.

Alan: Let me tell you something, son. Elizabeth had her own doubts about Bill Lewis.

Phillip: Right. But you made sure that she would continue to doubt him.

Alan: Who told you this, Grady? How much does Elizabeth know about this?

Phillip: All she knows about is Grady.

Alan: Hmm.

Phillip: So here's what's going to happen. You're going to stop manipulating her, and you're going to let her live her own life.

Alan: Or you're going to tell her about me, huh?

Phillip: Don't give me a reason to.

Dinah: Hi, there.

Shayne: Hi. Ladies first. Thanks.

Dinah: This is awkward.

Shayne: Mm-hmm.

Dinah: And that's my fault, especially after last night, when we were about to...

Shayne: Have sex?

Dinah: Yeah. And I stopped it-- even though I didn't really want to stop it.

Shayne: You didn't?

Dinah: No. No, I mean, because you're incredibly.... you know. And I thought about it.

Shayne: You have? I hadn’t.

Dinah: Really?

Shayne: I'm joking.

Dinah: Good. Not good that we can't, but, you know, I really cannot be in that place with someone, you know, where I'm running to them every time I have a problem.

Shayne: See, I don't mind being that person for you.

Dinah: I do mind. I have to fix things for myself. You know, I cannot panic every time someone looks at me sideways. I have to be able to handle things on my own. You know, Phillip doesn't know, and that jerk Grady is not even in town, so...

Shayne: It sounds like things are really good for you then.

Dinah: They are good. You know why? Because I'm a very good person. And I'm going to forget what Phillip said to me. And I'm going to forget that I am even involved with the kidnapping at all.

Shayne: No, no, no, no, no. Let me get that for you.

Dinah: No, no. Thank you.

Shayne: I insist. It's not every day I get to buy a juice and a coffee for a good person.

Dinah: Oh, laugh all you want, make fun. You'll see. It's a whole new world. I have erased my past.

Shayne: Oh, erased it, huh?

Dinah: Mm-hmm.

Shayne: Some things are easier to erase than others. A kidnapping? Not so much.

Dinah: Done. Gone. Focus on the future.

Shayne: Wow! Just like that, huh?

Dinah: Absolutely. I can do anything I put my mind to. I helped you, didn't I?

Shayne: Yes, you did help me.

Dinah: Yes. And I am going to do the same for myself. I'm in control of my life right now, and it feels amazing. I've never been calmer. I've never been clearer where I'm going.

Shayne: Good.

Dinah: And I don't want to muddy it up with, you know, relationship stuff, so...

Shayne: I understand, totally. Still friends?

Dinah: Yes. Yes, yes, yes, better than ever.

Shayne: All right, good. Good, good.

Dinah: I have to go.

Shayne: All right.

Dinah: I'll see ya.

Shayne: See you around, my non-kidnapping B.F.F.

Dinah: You're the only one who knows that.

Shayne: No. Phillip Spaulding and I are the only ones that know that.

Dinah: He doesn't know anything, okay! I am reading way too much into that, into what he said.

Phillip: Frank, I just want to know, is there anything new on Lizzie’s kidnapping?

Frank: Morning, Phillip.

Phillip: I mean, she's fairly certain it was Grady Foley that took her, so I guess that's where you're starting. Do you even know where he is?

Frank: You know, first of all, I need to bring Lizzie in here and have a conversation with her. Second of all, she needs to give us a new statement.

Phillip: So you have no idea of his whereabouts?

Frank: I don't think Grady Foley wants to be found.

Buzz: Jenna? Jenna? What am I looking for here? Grady? Revenge? I want my son. I want my wife. I don't want hate! I don't want revenge! I do want hate! I do want hate! I do want hate! I do want hate! I don't know how to stop!

Alan: Well, you must... you must be Drew?

Drew: Yes, sir.

Alan: Alan Spaulding.

Drew: Nice to meet you. I was expecting you.

Alan: Well, I just thought I would stop in and see how things are going.

Drew: Well, don't worry. I'm going to turn this place around in no time. And I've been working on a new menu since you're the owner.

Alan: Really? Well, you know, I've owned this place several times, and I've changed the decor and the menu. But there is one reason why people come here to eat.

Josh: Hi, there. Can I get a Buzzburger and some fries, please? Oh, oh, wait. I'm sorry. I almost forgot. You own this place now, don't you, Alan? Did you change the name? Should I order a big ol', what, Alburger?

Alan: There's one reason why people come here to eat, and that's because of the terrible food, so we're going to keep the terrible food on the menu-- except we're going to do twice the business that Buzz Cooper did when he was running this place.

Josh: I'm going to need some extra onions on that burger. Thank you.

Marina: He's perfect. And I can never thank you enough for bringing him home. I think he might be the little miracle that will bring my whole family back together.

Mallet: Big job, little guy.

Marina: Yeah, well, if anyone can do it, he can. I think the whole family was just lost when we lost Coop. Everyone was so sad. A baby forces you to be in the present and to look forward to the future.

Frank: You know, Phillip, I'm doing everything I can to make this a safer world for our daughters.

Phillip: That's why we're here, right?

Lizzie: Oh, okay. I didn't know you were going to be here.

Phillip: I didn't know that you were giving your statement today. Do you mind if I stay?

Lizzie: It's fine. Just stay if you want.

Frank: All right. Here it is. I need you to give us a new statement. Unfortunately, we're going to have to go over every single detail again to see how much we can link to Grady.

Lizzie: Could you just excuse us for one second? Okay, now that we're here, I don't think I can do this.

Bill: Okay, look, you don't have to. But I'm here now, so...

Lizzie: Okay. Will you hold my hand?

Bill: Forever.

Marina: Vanessa, do you want to hold him?

Vanessa: Oh, thank you, sweetie. But I've been around long enough to know just to let sleeping babies lie. I'll fold the laundry.

Ashlee: Oh, I'll help.

Vanessa: Oh, okay.

Mallet: Oh, ladies, ladies, please, stop by every day about this time, will you? This is nice.

Marina: Thank you. We thought that we would have a little more help once we got the baby, but with my grandpa and Daisy gone, I guess we're a little shorthanded.

Billy: Where did they go?

Mallet: They went looking for Grady.

Billy: That guy has caused my little Daisy more trouble than he's worth.

Marina: Well, that's something we can all agree on. When Grady didn't show up to testify against Alan, I think it drove my grandfather even more downhill.

Buzz: Did you see that?

Daisy: Yeah.

Buzz: I'm sorry.

Daisy: No. It's okay. It's all right to be angry and sad.

Buzz: You're the kid. I'm the grownup.

Daisy: No. I'm 18.

Buzz: You're the kid.

Daisy: Grandpa, I don't think this is good for you, the way we're trying to find Grady, going from town to town.

Buzz: I'm not going back without him.

Daisy: I'm just scared of what it's doing to you.

Buzz: Yeah, I am, too.

Daisy: So let's go home, and we'll just... we'll find Grady another way. Maybe Cyrus will help us.

Buzz: Let's give it some more days. I'll get some snacks for the road.

Shayne: Dad. Just the man I wanted to see. Hmmm extra onions-- just the way I like it.

Josh: I guess you're hungry, huh? That's fine, because I'll just order another one.

Shayne: Let's get some more fries and a beer with it, too.

Josh: So you wanted to see me?

Shayne: Well, it wasn't like I was wandering around just looking for you, or anything like that, but since you're here, I might... okay. I have a friend who lives in the past, okay? And now they want to go forward, they want to move on with their life, but the issues from this person's past are so big that they can't be ignored.

Josh: Well, you can't ignore your past, son. The best you can hope for is to learn from your mistakes and move forward, okay?

Shayne: Okay, I get that. I get the learning from the mistakes part. But, I mean, don't you think that not facing the issues of your past, really dealing with them, don't you think that just creates a bigger problem than actually dealing with them?

Josh: I just want to tell you, I'm really proud of you right now. The fact that you're working so hard on this, and you're coming to me and you're talking to me about the problems in your life, that's great.

Shayne: What are you talking about?

Josh: We're talking about you, right?

Shayne: We're not talking about me, no.

Josh: I'm just saying that I'm glad that you're opening up. That's all.

Shayne: Finish your burger, Dad.

Dinah: Frank. Hi.

Frank: Dinah. Hi.

Dinah: You know, I heard this wild rumor that the Police Department thinks that Grady Foley is Lizzie’s kidnapper.

Frank: The Police Department and Lizzie Spaulding, actually. She just gave us a new statement, and I have to tell you, a lot of it points to Grady. Why don't you come in and join us? Bill and Lizzie, I'm sure they'd love to see you.

Phillip: Well, it looks like everybody is interested in finding out what's going to happen to Lizzie’s kidnapper.

Dinah: I'm here to support Bill and Lizzie.

Frank: All right, Lizzie, I just need you to sign your new statement here so we can get busy nailing your kidnapper. And Bill?

Bill: Yeah?

Frank: Since this is a new statement now, all charges are dropped against you. There's no more evidence, so...

Bill: Thank you. Thank you, Frank.

Lizzie: I shouldn't have doubted you. I shouldn't have. I should have been more like Dinah. She just stood by you the whole time. She knew. She knew that you weren't the kidnapper and I didn't know.

Dinah: I knew it couldn't be you.

Bill: Thank you. Thank you, Dinah. Maybe we can put this whole thing behind us now?

Phillip: Yeah. Well, I'm sure it's going to be a little difficult. But I think you're right. I think as far as the two of you are concerned, there's no reason to think about this for another minute.

Dinah: I think this is a great idea. I think this is a great opportunity to take this moment and put the kidnapping behind us. You know, I don't think we should dwell on it anymore. In fact, I think we should have a party. I think we should have a party celebrating the fact that you are cleared. I think we need to make a statement that we are moving on.

Lizzie: No, no. I can't go. Bill and I barely know each other.

Bill: Well, wait a minute. I think we can live in the present for this one party. I think Dinah deserves it.

(Cell phone rings) (baby crying)

Billy: Yeah, Cooper residence.

Daisy: Grandpa Billy?

Billy: You're going to have to speak up. There's a baby crying.

Daisy: It's Daisy. Is Mallet there?

Billy: Well, he's kind of busy right now, sweetheart. Can I do something for you?

Daisy: I'm on the road with Grandpa Buzz, and he's so sad. I don't know what to do.

Billy: Well, you bring him on home.

Daisy: We have to find Grady.

Billy: No, no, sweetheart. I think that maybe that's something that you should let somebody else handle. We really need you back here. You want me to call Buzz and tell him that you need to be home?

Daisy: No. I'll do it. I'll get him to come home. Don't tell anyone I called. They'll worry.

Billy: Okay, but only as long as you call me if you've got a problem, all right?

Daisy: I will. I have to hang up. Grandpa Buzz is coming.

Dinah: My regular, please.

Drew: You'll have to excuse me. I do not know what that is.

Dinah: Of course you don’t. I'm sorry. You're not a Cooper. Large latte, extra foam, and one sugar substitute. Now, can you do that, smoke a cigar in a restaurant?

Alan: Well, you can if you own the restaurant. Besides, I'm celebrating. You see, Grady Foley decided not to testify against me, so I am a free man.

Dinah: Well, well, well. Give me that cigar. Give that to me. I have reason to celebrate myself, Alan.

Alan: Really? Why is that?

Dinah: Well, Lizzie pointed her finger to Grady, which means she cleared my brother of all the charges. I'm throwing a party.

Alan: A party?

Dinah: You're welcome to come.

Alan: I am? Well, we'll see. I might just do that. Can I have my cigar back?

Dinah: Gladly. Thank you, sir, for the coffee. Oh, here. Okay, I've got to make some phone calls. I hope you come.

Shayne: You know, everyone warned me that Dinah is usually in more trouble than she is out of trouble, but I didn't listen. You know, she won't let me help her even.

Josh: Well, why do you want to?

Shayne: Like I just said, she's in trouble, Dad.

Josh: No, no. I mean, are you doing it as a favor, because she helped you, or is there something more to it than that?

Shayne: I don't know. Maybe I want to find out, you know?

Josh: So, what, you're ready to move on? Is that why you're saying?

Shayne: I don't know. I don't know. You know, I just... you don't know till you try, right?

Josh: No, you don’t.

Shayne: Well, I did try, and, um, not good. She ran out on me.

Josh: Did you go after her?

Shayne: No. No, I did not. Trust me, she didn't want me to, either.

Josh: Shayne, okay, look, they all want you to go after them, okay?

Shayne: No.

Josh: No, no, no. You have to do this. You have to go find her right now. See, women-- there are no rules with women. Actually, no, that's not true. There are rules, but they make them and they break them whenever they feel like it. And Dinah, she's not going to make it easy for you, son.

Shayne: Not for nothing. I gave her a hard time about the whole thing on top of it.

Josh: The tough ones are usually worth it.

Shayne: Doesn't Mom have that on a coffee mug or something in the house?

Josh: Mm-hmm. Who do you think gave it to her?

Shayne: Dad...

Josh: Come on. We've got to go. We've got to go right now. Let's go.

Bill: You know what we need to do?

Lizzie: What?

Bill: Suspend the dating until after the party.

Lizzie: Oh, I guess that would be okay.

Bill: Okay? But that means you and I, we can still celebrate our freedom-- or mine, at least. Ooh. I hope your father didn't hear that.

Phillip: Oh, Bill?

Bill: Yes?

Phillip: I heard a lot, I heard a whole lot when I got back to town about how you hurt my daughter.

Lizzie: Dad!

Phillip: But what I'm seeing is a young man who is making my daughter extremely happy.

Bill: Well, that's what I want to be, the man that makes Lizzie happy.

Phillip: As long as you do that, we won't have any problems.

Bill: All right. Then you and I will figure things out, because Lizzie is my number one priority.

Phillip: That makes two of us.

Bill: Great. All right, well, we'll see you at the party.

Phillip: Is that okay with you?

Lizzie: You have to make your choices for yourself.

Phillip: Okay. Fair enough.

Bill: Okay. I think I just got your dad's approval.

Lizzie: You didn't need it.

Bill: You look hot!

Lizzie: I know.

Bill: I'm so glad we don't have to pretend we don't know each other, because I don't think I'm going to be able to keep my hands off you.

Lizzie: Well, I don't think I'm going to make you.

Alan: Ah!

Bill: Hey.

Lizzie: Hi, Granddad! Have you heard about our party?

Alan: Yes, I have. As a matter of fact, I have a personal invitation from Dinah.

Bill: Oh. Will you be there?

Alan: I wouldn't miss it for the world, Bill.

Bill: Great!

Lizzie: Okay.

Dinah: Oh, hi!

Vanessa: Hi, sweetie.

Dinah: Hi! The guest of honor is not here right now.

Vanessa: Oh, what a great idea this is.

Dinah: Thank you so much for coming on such a short notice.

Billy: We love being here. I'm going to get something to eat.

Dinah: Okay.

Vanessa: I'll see you in a bit.

Dinah: Okay, you bet. Oh, thank goodness you're here.

Ashlee: Oh, yeah. Well, you told me to be here. What is this party?

Dinah: Okay. Bill's charges have been cleared.

Ashlee: Good.

Dinah: It turns out that Grady kidnapped Lizzie.

Ashlee: What? No. Then I can't stay. I have to find Daisy. She doesn't know-- well, at least I don't think that she knows about this, and I feel awful. This is her whole world. I have to go.

Dinah: Okay, listen. I want you to listen to me. It shouldn't be that way. Okay? You know, everything that you want, and all of the dreams that you have, they can't depend on a guy, just any guy. And I am sorry that Daisy is going to learn this the hard way, but you know what? That's, I think, how most of us learn it. All right?

Ashlee: Okay. So what do you need me to do?

Dinah: I want you to coordinate correspondence for WSPR, okay? This is what I want-- quote-- "Bill is innocent." Okay, that story should lead every newscast, okay, and be featured in every promo. Cover the party, and then you go take care of your friend, all right?

Ashlee: Okay.

Dinah: Thank you. Hi. Bill should be here any minute.

Vanessa: Well, that was really nice, what you said to Ashlee. I was eavesdropping. But it's so good to see you taking charge and doing this for your brother. You know, you were really great all the way through this business with him. You really were much better than I was. Taking care and helping your friend, Shayne. I think you're turning into an all-around, incredible, fabulous person.

Dinah: Thank you. I do feel like my future is bright. I'm going to see if I can't get more people to come. I'll be right back, okay? Excuse me.

Vanessa: Okay.

(Cell phone rings)

Mallet: Hello?

Dinah: Hi. It's Dinah. I didn't mean to interrupt at all. And I know that you are busy, and, actually, this is last-minute, but I'm having a party for Bill and Lizzie, and I want you to know I would love for you and Marina to join us.

Mallet: Oh, yeah. Well, thanks for the invite. But, you know, Henry’s been kind of difficult, and we just got him to sleep. It's been kind of a long day. I think... I think we'll pass.

Dinah: Oh, okay. Well, you can tell everybody in the house that they're welcome.

Mallet: Oh, okay. I mean, well, nobody's home. Frank is down at the station. Buzz and Daisy are on the road. They're out of town.

Dinah: Oh, all right. Well, you give a kiss to that little guy of yours, all right?

Mallet: Okay, I will. Bye.

Buzz: Okay. I've got nine kinds of chips, and an apple for you to be healthy.

Daisy: So I just talked to Billy, and things sound really hectic there. I think they could use some help with the baby.

Buzz: Well, I'll get Lillian to help. Let's go. What?

Daisy: I think we should go home, Grandpa. I want to find Grady probably more than you do, but this is not good for you, and I don't want something bad to happen.

Buzz: Honey, the hospital gave me a clean bill of health.

Daisy: Yeah, I'm not worried about your heart. I'm worried about your head. You're going to go crazy, and I'm not going to know what to do. Let me take you home. I'll look for Grady.

Buzz: Daisy, I invented living on the road, okay? I can take care of myself. I don't need you. I don't need family. I don't need friends. I don't need anybody! All right? Are you coming with me? You come with me. Okay? Or I can go by myself!

Daisy: You're scaring me, and I think you need help.

Buzz: I want Spaulding behind bars.

(Cell phone rings)

Josh: Hello?

Dinah: Hey, Josh, it's Dinah.

Josh: It's Dinah. Hello, Dinah. How are you?

Dinah: Good. Hey, listen, it's short notice, but we're having a little get-together at Towers. Bill was cleared of all of the charges, so we're celebrating.

Josh: A party at Towers for Bill?

Dinah: Yeah. Do you think you can come?

Josh: Of course I can make it. I wouldn't miss it. See you there.

Shayne: So I heard there's a party at Towers tonight.

Josh: Mm-hmm. Your girl is going to be there.

Shayne: Dad, she's not my girl.

Josh: Not yet, son.

Josh: There she is. Come on.

Shayne: I know. Look at her. She's in her element here, right? Dad, this isn't the right time for me to be...

Josh: What? Sweep her off her feet? It's always the right time for that, son.

Shayne: No. No, I want her to enjoy this while she can, okay?

Josh: Go enjoy it with her.

Shayne: No. It won't be the same with me here. You go.

Josh: Wait, wait, wait.

Shayne: You represent both of us, okay?

Josh: Sorry, excuse me for one second, will you please? Wait. Shayne? Shayne?

Frank: Jeez. Rough day, guys?

Marina: No. We're fine. This was the best day of my life. And I can't wait to do it again tomorrow.

Mallet: You mean, like in another two hours, when he wakes up again?

Marina: Yeah, tomorrow, in two hours.

Mallet: Oh, Frank, how did it go with Lizzie?

Frank: It went well, actually. She gave us a new statement, and I've got to say, a lot of it makes sense. If Grady’s involved, a lot of holes would be cleared up. I just need to find out what was his motive and if he acted alone.

Marina: Wow. How is Lizzie?

Frank: She's good. She's good. Bill was there and Phillip was there, and then Dinah showed up. And once she found out all of the charges against Bill were dropped, she said she wanted to throw a party, so...

Mallet: Oh. Oh, that's right. Yeah, she called me about that. You were sleeping. She invited us.

Frank: Well, why don't you guys go? I can watch Henry.

Marina: Yeah?

Frank: Yeah.

Marina: I don't know, what do you think? I mean, he could sleep for, like, another two hours, don't you think?

Mallet: Yeah. Yeah, I guess we could go for a little bit. Are you sure you don't mind, Frank?

Frank: What are Grandpa’s for?

Marina: Oh. Oh, oh, oh. I love it when he does that.

Mallet: You see the way he wrinkles his nose?

Marina: He does that when he has gas-- just like his papa.

Frank: If you want to catch that party, you better go now.

Marina: I don't know. I don't want to miss anything. What if he does something cute again? Can we stay here?

Mallet: You want to stay here? I didn't really want to go anyway.

Daisy: What are you doing?

Buzz: You want to go home? Go home. I've got work to do.

Daisy: Grandpa...

Buzz: Get out of here. I'm better off alone.

Daisy: Grandpa!

Alan: A room full of Lewis’s. What could be better?

Phillip: Oh, they're all here because they're happy for Lizzie and Bill. And I think we should be, too.

Dinah: Speech!

Bill: Oh. No. I wouldn't know what to say.

Dinah: Well, it wouldn't be worth celebrating if you didn't say anything.

Billy: Yeah. Speech!

Bill: Okay. Well, if you insist. Okay, well, gee, first of all, thank you so much for being here-- so much that I could say to each and every one of you. But there is something I want everyone in this room to know: That I am so happy to be here with Lizzie Spaulding. I am so happy, because I finally realized what my life is all about. And I am so sorry that it took so long to find out. I love you, Lizzie.

Lizzie: And I love you, too. But there is someone I think you need to thank.

Bill: Absolutely. My sister, Dinah, everyone, who... well, pushed me when I needed to be pushed, and who stood by me when no one else did. To Dinah!

Crowd: To Dinah!

Billy: Are you through?

Bill: I think I am through.

Billy: Good. Let's dance! (Cheers and laughter)

Phillip: Nice party.

Dinah: Yeah, it is a nice party, isn't it?

Phillip: I know.

Dinah: What?

Phillip: That you and Grady tied up Lizzie and kept her in a basement, putting her through hell so you could have this little slice of heaven. Mm-hmm, I know everything.

Next on "Guiding Light"...

Phillip: Out with the bad, in with the good. That's a long way down.

Daisy: Tell me where Grady is. He was going to testify against you, and now he's gone!

Phillip: No matter what you've done, Dinah, there is not a damn thing that I can do about it, not legally.

Alan: Well, when you hook up with somebody like that, you deserve what you get.
