Alan: Hey Rafe, Rafe, wait up. I've been looking all over for you. You haven't been around the house lately.

Rafe: Yeah, well, school.

Alan: Well, of course, of course. Is everything all right?

Rafe: Yeah.

Alan: Good. Look, I won't take much of your time, it is very cold out here. But I want you to do me a favor.

Rafe: Okay.

Alan: I want you to call this gentleman, this stockbroker, and set up an appointment to meet him.

Rafe: I already have an after-school job, and I'm trying to bring my grades up, so...

Alan: No, this is not about a job, son. This is... I want him to explain to you the trust that I've set up for you.

Rafe: Trust?

Alan: Yes. Mostly mutual funds, a few bonds, a piece of an oil field. It will give you a steady income.

Rafe: Why are you doing this?

Alan: A thank you would be nice.

Rafe: Thank you. Now, why?

Alan: Let's just say it's a safety net. I know that your mother and Gus are getting married, but, you know, life is full of complications.

Rafe: Complications?

Alan: Yes. When I say the word "complications," I think of Olivia Spencer.

Olivia: Yeah, I know I'm supposed to be there. Well, you'll just have to tell him I can't make it. Because, um... because it's kind of hard to keep showing up, you know, when all you get is bad news, that's why.

Natalia: Yeah, this is coming along beautifully.

Woman: Oh, what a beautiful job. You want this to be a wedding you'll always remember.

Natalia: Gus and I know that we can always count on that.

Woman: (Laughs) Oh, I reconfigured things in the ballroom based on our last meeting.

Natalia: Perfect. No, it is. And then when Gus gets here, we can show him all of this.

Olivia: Hi. Hi. I didn't know you'd be here. I just spoke to the inspector, and he doesn't recommend that we use the ballroom until further notice.

Natalia: The ballroom is actually closed?

Olivia: Yeah, until the repairs are done. And I'm sorry, I know that you and Gus wanted to use it for your wedding.

Natalia: How long is it going to be unavailable?

Olivia: Well, the contractor says a month or two, which probably means three.

Harley: Oh, oh...

Gus: Sorry.

Harley: Sorry.

Gus: No, no, no...

Harley: That's my fault. I'm all fuzzy today.

Gus: My fault. I'm walking around.

Harley: I'm backing in.

Gus: Me.

Harley: Grab a... here, see?

Gus: My fault.

Harley: Well, we're both at fault. Does that make you feel better?

Gus: Yeah, we're both at fault.

Harley: All fixed. See?

Gus: Okay.

Harley: Where are you off to? Let me guess-- Natalia.

Gus: No. Well, she is waiting, but that’s...

Harley: Well, don't let me stop you.

Gus: I've always got a minute for you. I spoke to the boys last night.

Harley: I know, I was there.

Gus: Oh, was that you...

Harley: That was me.

Gus: ...Breathing in the background? (Laughs) Yeah, so, how is business?

Harley: Actually, I was going to call you. We have indications that Phillip is on the move.

Gus: Well, you don't actually think he's going after Zach?

Harley: I don't know.

Gus: Well, if it would help you, Zach can always stay at my house.

Harley: No, we're handling it.

Gus: We?

Harley: Uh-huh.

Gus: You, Marina, and Cyrus?

Harley: Yep. We're going to try to lure him out.

Gus: Well, let it just be known for the record, I think that's a terrible idea.

Harley: I'm trying to be proactive here. What would you have me do? And if it makes you feel better, Cyrus is the one who's actually going to put himself out there and let him know he can be bought, that's all.

Gus: I'm just saying I don't understand why you're willing to just jump into the bed with the guy like that. You know...

Harley: Who's jumping into bed?

Gus: Maybe you work with him because he’s...

Harley: You are out of line. It's not that kind of relationship at all.

Gus: ...Some kind of loyalty to your niece. Because that's what it is. You're feeling you want to give him work, you want to be loyal.

Harley: Gus.

Gus: See, I know what's going on in that head of yours.

Harley: Don't be so sure.

Cyrus: Why are we here again?

Marina: I work here, remember? I'm sorry, is there a problem?

Cyrus: I guess I just don't like to be around handcuffs, unless you're putting them on.

Marina: You sure know how to make a girl feel special.

Cyrus: Well, you are special. Can we get out of here now?

Marina: Why are you so antsy?

Cyrus: Immigration.

Marina: You worry too much.

Cyrus: The immigration department doesn't make calls for nothing.

Marina: Okay, they called, they didn't leave a name, they said they were going to call back and they didn’t.

Cyrus: All the more reason to worry.

Marina: Just stay close to me. I won't let anyone take you away from me. I promise.

Cyrus: So, you're my protector?

Marina: Well, I like to think of it more of as a team.

Cyrus: Well, I don't think they can deport you.

Marina: Oh, well, they can't deport you, either. I'm packing.

Cyrus: Comforting. You know what, if this is going to take a while, I'll go get us some coffees.

Marina: You don't need to do that.

Cyrus: It's better than having all these cops sneaking looks at me wondering what law I'm going to break next.

Marina: Okay. Remy?

Remy: Hey, didn't expect to see you here.

Marina: Yeah, I really didn't expect to see you here. Are you...

Remy: Uh-uh. Got to pay the man his dues. Hey, you don't think that you...

Marina: I don't fix speeding tickets.

Remy: No harm in asking.

Marina: In the middle of the police station? If you say so.

Remy: Hey, I was going to call you. I wanted to see how bad it was when you told...

Marina: Shhh.

Remy: (Whispers) ...Cyrus and Harley about Phillip looking around. You chickened out?

Marina: Yeah, right after I told him Immigration called.

Remy: Well, why... I bet he's counting on you now.

Marina: I shouldn't have said anything.

Remy: Oh, no, no, you did the right thing. Those two are...

Marina: They're not together, okay? I'm sure of it.

Remy: Yet.

Marina: And I'm going to do everything that I have to do to keep it that way. God help me if they figure out what I've lied about.

Remy: Well, how's that going to happen?

Marina: I don't know, Remy, the look on my face.

Remy: You're a better liar than you think.

Marina: Okay, gee, thanks.

Remy: So, you know what you got to do, right?

Marina: Go to church.

Remy: Well, that never hurts, but I'm talking about something more practical.

Marina: Why do I think I'm not going to like this?

Remy: You've got to get Harley out of town for a while.

Marina: I was wrong; I hate this.

Harley: Coffee is getting cold. Go find Natalia.

Gus: You trying to get rid of me?

Harley: No, I like when my ex tells me what to do.

Gus: I'm just saying I'm looking out for the boys, you know? That's my intention. I can't say the same for Cyrus. I don't know what his priorities are.

Harley: I trust him.

Gus: Oh, really? I just don't think you have to ever really deal with him. You're doing it because of your niece, right?

Harley: How is this you not telling me what to do?

Gus: I'm just saying, if you come up with something with Phillip, just come to a professional. You know, come to me, come to Mallet.

Harley: I can't go to either one of you.

Gus: That's not what I'm saying.

Harley: Don't you have a wedding to plan?

Gus: It doesn't mean I'm going to leave you and the kids hanging.

Harley: Does this look like a scarf or like a neck injury?

Gus: I think you look great.

Harley: You should go. Natalia is waiting.

Alan: Thank you very much, Harry. Rafe, you don't have to call this gentleman. All you have to do is show up for an appointment after school.

Rafe: Look, this is really nice of you, but...

Alan: You know, it is my job to look after you, son.

Rafe: Olivia. You were saying something about Olivia before.

Alan: Yeah, well, it's not the first time I've talked to you about Olivia.

Rafe: You know what, I'm not worried about it. And you shouldn't be, either. My mom and Gus, they're getting married.

Alan: I'm aware of that.

Rafe: It's set.

Alan: Okay.

Rafe: And it's going to happen no matter what.

Alan: Rafe, I hate to be blunt with you, but everybody gets married, but that doesn't mean they stay married.

Rafe: Yeah, but it means something.

Alan: It means nothing to Olivia Spencer.

Rafe: So?

Alan: Look, I've known this woman for a very long time and I know how she works.

Rafe: Maybe you're just mad because it didn't work out between the two of you.

Alan: (Laughs) Believe me, I count my blessings every day that I'm not married to Olivia. Now Gus and your mother have a chance to make a marriage if Olivia sets her sights on someone else. But if she doesn’t...

Rafe: What if she doesn't?

Alan: Well, Olivia is Olivia.

Rafe: And my mom is strong.

Alan: Yes, your mom is strong, son. I think I've said enough, and I think you understand my point.

Rafe: Alan...

Alan: The money will help if things go wrong. Now, I want you to keep that appointment, all right?

Olivia: Okay, we'll have to call the Lavano’s, and the McBride’s. Ugh, they've been planning this for over a year. I'm going to make that call.

Natalia: Excuse me.

Olivia: Can we check April, too, because I don't know how long this is going to take.

Natalia: Excuse me. My wedding is off, just like that?

Olivia: It's not just yours, I'm actually canceling three months worth of weddings.

Natalia: But mine is the one you care about canceling.

Woman: I'll let you two talk.

Olivia: I know you're disappointed.

Natalia: Disappointed? No, I'm pissed.

Olivia: I'm sure Tinsley McBride is going to be a little peeved herself.

Natalia: Oh, please, with the charade, because I know exactly what you're doing.

Olivia: And what am I doing?

Natalia: You're acting. And not even that well.

Olivia: Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you. I'm canceling three months worth of weddings, okay? It's costing me a lot of money. Do you think I'd actually do that just to keep you and your childhood sweetheart from tying the knot?

Natalia: Uh-huh, and I think you're getting off cheap.

Olivia: I think you're delusional.

Natalia: And I think that you're...

Gus: Hey, ladies, what's going on? Something's going on.

Natalia: So, listen to this, all of a sudden the ballroom of this hotel is falling apart. And it's so bad that we're going to have to put off our wedding. Actually, we might have to cancel the whole thing, right?

Olivia: I don't know. She thinks I climbed on the roof and poked holes in the ceiling just to ruin your wedding.

Natalia: No, I just think that you're lying.

Olivia: Listen, believe it or not, this is a really difficult situation for a lot of people.

Gus: Whoa, why don't we just take this from the beginning?

Natalia: Okay, I will sum the whole thing up for you. Two words, rhymes with "flying witch."

Olivia: Back off with the insults. I'll let you guys figure out what you want to do. I'll make it up if I can.

Gus: Okay. Hold it, hold it. Let's take it slow, okay?

Natalia: You want to take it... why... why can't you just understand she is making up some phony crisis about a leaky roof so we won't get married.

Gus: No, I don't think that's it. I don't think you understand.

Natalia: No, I understand. I understand that woman wants you unattached. And if it takes three months, that's fine, and if it takes longer, she will whip something else up.

Gus: You're wrong about that.

Natalia: No, I'm not wrong.

Gus: Yeah, you are wrong. She's not thinking of anything three months from now or even three weeks from now. Trust me, I know.

Natalia: What does that mean?

Gus: Nothing. Just... nothing. Forget it.

Natalia: Okay, and since when are you such an expert on what is going on in Olivia’s head?

Gus: I just... I've known her for a lot longer than you have, okay?

Natalia: Whether you want to believe it or not, she wants you available to her. So, you know what, let's just give her what she wants.

Gus: Give her what she wants?

Natalia: Yeah, let's just... the wedding is off.

Gus: Fine, fine. Who wants to get married anyway, right?

Natalia: It makes sense. Because I think maybe we just did this whole thing way too fast. And Olivia is doing us a favor, she doesn't even know it.

Gus: Wait a second. You really feel that we're going too fast.

Natalia: You are barely divorced from Harley.

Gus: I'm sorry... no, no, no, there's no degrees of being divorced. You're either divorced or you're not divorced. That's it.

Natalia: Well, there's no degrees of lying, either.

Gus: Is this about Olivia or is this Harley now?

Natalia: Neither.

Gus: Then let's keep it here. Just keep it between us.

Natalia: I want to keep it between us, but Olivia is between us.

Gus: She's not doing... it's not her fault.

Natalia: She ruined our wedding.

Gus: She's got a lot bigger things, baby, to worry about than this wedding. Trust me.

Natalia: Like what?

Gus: Nothing, nothing. Forget it. You're right. Okay, you're right.

Natalia: About Olivia?

Gus: No, about the wedding. It's off. Come on.

Natalia: Come on, what? Where are we going?

Gus: Come on, we've got a lot of planning to do for two people that aren't getting married.

Olivia: Use now and make no payments now until 2009. Might want to get your money up front. There's no such thing as too much retirement? Want to bet?

Alan: Here, let me get that for you.

Olivia: No, it's all right, I've got it. I've got it. Thank you.

Alan: Olivia, what are you so preoccupied about?

Olivia: This is my... it's from my accountant.

Alan: I understand. Every time I get a letter from my accountant, my heart skips a beat.

Olivia: I know how you feel.

Alan: You know, I'm glad I ran into you. I've been thinking about the situation with you and Gus.

Olivia: There is no situation with me and Gus.

Alan: Exactly. I think you need to spend more time with him, so that you can further our plan. But I'm trying to figure out a way I might be able to help you out.

Olivia: Alan, you know, there are only so many hours in a day. So unless you have some secret power you're not telling me about, you can't change that.

Alan: I'm just talking about freeing up some time that you have committed elsewhere.

Olivia: So you're going to run the Beacon for me?

Alan: No, but I may be able to help you out with Emma.

Olivia: No! No.

Alan: Just calm down. What's gotten into you?

Olivia: It is just that I don't spend enough time with her as it is. Every minute is precious, Alan.

Remy: I officially paid my debt to society. No thanks to you.

Marina: I told you I don't fix tickets.

Remy: And to show you I'm not holding a grudge, I'm going to do whatever you need to take care of this Harley situation.

Marina: You've done enough.

Remy: Well, you don't seem to be in a better mood.

Marina: Can I not be thrilled about this? Is that okay with you?

Remy: Hey, hey, you're just doing what you've got to do.

Marina: Exactly. I'm doing what I have to do. I laid it all out for Danny, and I wound up losing him.

Remy: Yeah, I remember.

Marina: I'm not going to let that happen with Cyrus.

Remy: So you do what you've got to do.

Marina: Okay. But where's the end of it? Where's the line that you don't cross? Can you do me a favor? Can you leave, please? Cyrus is going to come back.

Remy: So?

Marina: So? So, he's going to come in here and he's going to look at you and he's going to ask you if you've had any connection with Phillip lately, and you're going to have to make something up. And then the lies are just going to continue and they're going to get harder and harder to keep straight. For now, anyway. Please.

Remy: But I meant what I said. I can help.

Marina: Help me.

Cyrus: You haven't gotten your nose out of that paperwork since I left, have you?

Marina: I've had a few distractions.

Cyrus: Come on, let's get out of here, see if we can dig anything up on Phillip. Maybe we can track down Remy and see if there's been anymore contact.

Marina: You really want to get to the bottom of this, don't you?

Cyrus: It's important to Harley, right? And that means it's important to you. Anything you care about, I care about.

Marina: You know what? I'm ready to go. Let's go home.

Cyrus: Well, Remy isn't going to be there.

Marina: Nope. Nobody is. That's kind of the point.

Harley: Let me write that down. Are you sure? Thanks. Oh! Where did you come from?

Remy: A little jumpy?

Harley: I'm not jumpy.

Remy: Whatever you say, Harley.

Harley: Wait. What did you want?

Remy: Well, you don't seem too thrilled to see me, so I'll just...

Harley: Obviously you came over here for a reason.

Remy: Marina asked me to help you with the Phillip thing, despite our...

Harley: What, you know something about Phillip?

Remy: I know where he is.

Harley: What?

Remy: He's back east, New York City. I'll give you whatever you want if you want to track him down.

Harley: So, Phillip hires you to do a job weeks ago and then disappears. Now he resurfaces, and for no reason.

Remy: How do you know it's for no reason?

Harley: Well, I'm just curious about the timing. I mean, we are looking for him, and now you know where he is?

Remy: Look, we wouldn't be talking right now if Marina didn't ask me for my help. But if you're not interested, that's cool, I'll just go.

Harley: Wait. What do you know?

Remy: What's the magic word?

Harley: Remy...

Remy: He's in New York. He could be gone for all I know. I don't know.

Harley: What is he doing in New York?

Remy: Maybe he figures you know all of his old hot spots. It's a good place to hide in plain sight.

Harley: Do you have anything else?

Remy: That's it.

Harley: A city, that's it?

Remy: He left me a message on my voicemail late last night. He said he'd call me back, but he didn’t. I even tried to trace the call myself, but nothing turned up. Look, he could be on the move right now. Or he can putting down roots. I don't know. Now, are you going to go after him or not?

Harley: I've got to go. I mean, it's not much to go on.

Remy: It's more than you had ten minutes ago. You're welcome.

Harley: Well, just call me if he...

Remy: I'll think about it.

Marina: (Laughs)

Cyrus: (Laughs)

Marina: Your ears are like icicles.

Cyrus: That would be because it's cold outside.

Marina: No, I mean they're like subzero.

Cyrus: Buy me some ear muffs for my birthday.

Marina: When is it?

Cyrus: July.

Marina: July? I'm going to have to make them red, white and blue then.

Cyrus: Aww, the colors of the Australian flag. How thoughtful. But for the moment, why don't I just wash up and raise the temperature a bit.

Marina: I thought we were already doing that.

Cyrus: Smooth talker. I'll be back in a flash. (Phone ringing)

Marina: Hello.

Remy: Good, you're there. I'm coming over.

Marina: What? No.

Remy: Oh, yeah.

Marina: I'm kind of in the middle of something.

Remy: You're going to want to hear this, okay? I just did you a big favor.

Marina: I don't understand.

Remy: Well, how does Harley headed east sound to you?

Marina: What did you do?

Remy: I'll fill you in when I get there. Oh, and I'm expecting a big thank you gift.

Marina: Remy!

Remy: Think big.

Cyrus: What are you doing?

Marina: I can't find my cell phone.

Cyrus: Oh, I'll just call it with mine.

Marina: Actually, I don't think it's here. I think I left it at the station. Would you mind going down there and check?

Cyrus: (Laughs) What are you going to do?

Marina: You will have a big surprise when you get back.

Cyrus: Oh, can I have your permission to speed?

Marina: I'll even write you a pass.

Cyrus: Cool. Can I even take the patrol car?

Marina: No.

Cyrus: Oh, okay. Fair enough. But I'll be extra cold when I get back.

Marina: Not for long you won't be.

Alan: I want you to know I saw Rafe earlier and planted a few seeds about you.

Olivia: Is he coming after me?

Alan: No, no, no. I just want him to question this marriage between Gus and his mother. You know, he's very loyal to her.

Olivia: It's such a good thing you're not constrained by feelings like that.

Alan: This is for his own good. You know how fond I am of him.

Olivia: Well, I think we should keep him out of this, okay? He's Gus’s son.

Alan: Yes, he is.

Olivia: That should count for something, Alan. He's innocent in all of this.

Alan: Innocence is overrated. But I am glad to see you're looking out for Gus’s offspring. It's very touching, Olivia.

Gus: Hey, hey, we were just looking for you.

Natalia: Yeah, we have some news.

Gus: Yes. In fact, everybody should get in on this, especially the two of you.

Alan: Get in on what, Gus?

Gus: Olivia, she called and gave us a little bad news about the Beacon ballroom, which made us, in turn, throw our wedding plans right out the window.

Alan: Really?

Gus: Yeah.

Natalia: So we decided that we are just going to call it off. And we're going to elope instead.

Gus: Yeah. Tonight..

Rafe: Wait a minute, just like that, you guys are getting married?

Gus: Why not?

Natalia: We think maybe the whole leak in the ballroom thing was just kind of an act of God.

Gus: A sign.

Olivia: Just bad construction, maybe.

Alan: This seems rather sudden, Gus, that's all.

Olivia: It does seem hasty.

Rafe: I have something to say about this.

Natalia: What do you want to say about this?

Rafe: I think this is great.

Natalia: You do?

Rafe: Mmm-hmm.

Natalia: Thank you.

Rafe: And I won't be able to say a toast at your wedding, so I'll just say one here. Here's to years and years of happiness, and all of that stuff.

Gus: That's what I'm talking about. Thank you. That means a lot to me.

Rafe: My water...

Alan: Gus, are you sure about this?

Gus: Oh, jeez, here we go.

Alan: It just seems that you're rushing into this, that's all.

Gus: That's very perceptive of you. We are rushing it.

Alan: You're going to disappoint a lot of people that we thinking you were going to have a big wedding. I mean, you're cutting out your friends and your family if you do this.

Gus: I'm going to tell you we'll do, then. We'll come back and we'll throw a big party. And this way, we kind of cover all our commitments, all right? Olivia, I just want to thank you for everything that you were doing. You know, the Beacon ballroom and the setting up with the wedding planner, but we're going to do this.

Olivia: Okay.

Gus: Thank you very much. And... and, you know, we're here for you.

Olivia: No, I just... I feel awful about the ballroom thing. So I'm glad you... this is a solution. You came up with a solution. It's good.

Gus: We're only going to be gone a day. If you need anything, you can call.

Olivia: I'll be okay. Okay, I'm late.

Gus: You leaving?

Olivia: Well, I've got to see the contractor about that ballroom problem, so...

Gus: Right. Right.

Olivia: Congratulations.

Gus: Thank you. Ah, the ballroom. What are you going to do?

Olivia: You, too, congratulations.

Natalia: Thanks.

Gus: So, Dad, I guess this is as good a time as any to talk about this. When we get back, we're going to all be moving out. I want to thank you for putting yourself out and, you know, taking care of my son and my future wife. And I just wanted to say thank you and you can try not to look so disappointed.

Alan: I'm not disappointed. And to prove it, I'd like to kiss your new bride. Congratulations.

Natalia: Thank you, Alan. I'm so happy.

Rafe: Yeah, me, too.

Olivia: No! No!

(Knock on the door)

Marina: It's about time.

Remy: Enough with the dirty looks. This is a good thing.

Marina: Tell me what you did?

Remy: Well, you wanted Harley out of the way, right?

Marina: No, no, you said that.

Remy: Well, you agreed it'd be a good thing. Well, wishes do come true. She thinks she's going after Phillip.

Marina: How?

Remy: I lied. You were actually my inspiration.

Marina: Where does she think she is going?

Remy: Wouldn't you rather be able to say you don't know? All right, fine. New York City. I knew a girl out there. It just kind of popped in my head.

Marina: Okay. What happens when Phillip’s not there?

Remy: She'll figure he split. People on the run do that a lot.

Marina: God help me.

Remy: I knew you wouldn't step up yourself, so I stepped up for you. So now you don't have to feel guilty.

Marina: I already do.

Remy: Take advantage of the time you have. Make Cyrus know you're the one and only. This is what you wanted. And now you have it.

Diaz: I grew up near there. I can take care of this for you, definitely.

Harley: Oh, my God, Diaz, thank you, you are such a lifesaver.

Cyrus: Hey. What's going on?

Harley: What are you doing here?

Cyrus: An errand for Marina. You?

Harley: Me what?

Cyrus: You, here, why?

Harley: Do I need a reason?

Cyrus: You don't work here anymore...

Harley: Well, you never worked here, and you're here, so...

Cyrus: I just said, I'm here for Marina.

Harley: I... they owe me money, a job, an expense check. An expense check, that's what it is. And, of course, they can't find it, so I'm down here for absolutely no reason.

Cyrus: Oh.

Harley: No reason at all. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.

Cyrus: You seem kind of... something. Uncomfortable?

Harley: No.

Cyrus: Not even a little?

Harley: Not even a little.

Cyrus: That's odd, because you sure seem that way. Look, Harley...

Harley: I ran into Gus. Before.

Cyrus: Oh, Gus.

Harley: I ran into Gus before, and it was very awkward because, you know, we're barely not married, and here he is getting married all over again.

Cyrus: Are you sure it's not Phillip?

Harley: What?

Cyrus: The reason that you're kind of off.

Harley: No, it's Gus. I told you, I ran into him.

Cyrus: Harley, if there's something going on, I want to help. You can count on me for anything. So, I'm going to ask you again: Are you here because of Phillip?

Harley: No. No.

Alan: Rafe, you all right?

Rafe: Why wouldn't I be?

Alan: Well, I thought you might be a little surprised at the elopement plans.

Rafe: You think I'm upset?

Alan: Well, upset's not the right word, but maybe confused.

Rafe: Oh, no, I'm not confused. I'm happy. Didn't you hear my speech?

Alan: I just thought that maybe you were a little...

Rafe: You just thought that I should have objected to it. Isn't that what were you were priming me for earlier?

Alan: No.

Rafe: You don't think I see what you're doing? Especially when I find you hanging out with Olivia after you spent a half an hour telling me what a piece of work she is.

Alan: Look, you've got that all wrong, son.

Rafe: Look, my mom and dad are getting married. If you don't like that, fine, you do what you want. Leave me out of it.

Alan: That's no way to talk to your granddad.

Rafe: Yeah, well, that's no way to treat your grandson.

Gus: Whoa! (Laughter) That's what I'm talking about.

Natalia: I'll just have a little...

Gus: This is for you.

Natalia: ...Little bit because we have a long drive to Chicago.

Gus: I'm pouring yours first. There it is.

Natalia: That's mine?

Gus: Believe me, I'm not going to drink too much because I want us to get there in one piece before we actually...

Natalia: You were about to say something corny.

Gus: Well, I do have a corny side to me and if you don't like it, maybe you should have rethunk it before you said yes to marrying me.

Natalia: I know what I'm getting, and I love what I'm getting, believe me, I do. And about today...

Gus: Uh-huh.

Natalia: I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry that I was acting so crazy...

Gus: Forget about it.

Natalia: And I'm sorry about everything with Olivia.

Gus: Forget about it. Just forget about it. Believe me, I'm sure she has.

Olivia: Come on.

Ava: Mom?

Olivia: Oh, Ava, not now, please.

Ava: What's the matter?

Olivia: Nothing, I'm fine.

Ava: It doesn't look like it.

Olivia: Okay, I've had better days.

Ava: Does this have anything to do with you skipping your doctor's appointment? Yeah, I went down there to be with you and they told me that you canceled your appointment.

Olivia: Yeah, I know, I think I said something like, "I don't really want anymore bad news." I probably should have gone.

Ava: You can't just go skipping doctor's appointments.

Olivia: Ava, stop, not now, please.

Ava: Look, I don't care what happened today. Your health is the most important thing, okay?

Olivia: Gus is eloping tonight. I lost him, okay. Whatever. You know, I lost him, I lost my friend. I just thought, you know, he'd be really good for Emma. Heck, he'd be good for me, but he's gone, so...

Ava: But you said that he wouldn't desert you if you needed help.

Olivia: Well, he said as much, you know, while he was making plans to go off with Natalia.

Ava: But if he knows the condition that you're in.

Olivia: I don't have a condition. I'm just upset.

Ava: Are you sure? Because you don't look like you're upset to me. You look a little pale.

Olivia: My heart is beating a little faster.

Ava: Yeah? Didn't the doctor tell you to look out for symptoms like that?

Olivia: He told me to go straight to the hospital.

Ava: We should get you down there. We should call anybody you might want to have there with you.

Olivia: Gus may have to delay his elopement.

Ava: He knows what he priorities are. Now, I want to help you, okay, but you have to help yourself. You cannot skip anymore doctor's appointments, okay? If you do that to me, I'm going to consider you on your own. Are we clear?

Olivia: I love you. Let's go.

Ava: Okay. Let's go to the hospital.

Cyrus: Where are you going?

Harley: I told you, they don't have the check. So, really, there's absolutely no point in me hanging out.

Cyrus: It feels like you've been trying to get away from me from the moment I got here.

Harley: I... you... you just have to get over yourself.

Diaz: Where did Harley disappear to?

Cyrus: She just left.

Diaz: She wanted this.

Cyrus: Is that her check?

Diaz: Check? No, it's a contact name. A friend of the NYPD.

Cyrus: Oh, well, give it to me. I'll make sure she gets it.

Diaz: No, she'll probably call for it. I got it.

Cyrus: New York again. (Cell phone ringing) Hello.

Marina: I found my cell phone.

Cyrus: Oh, great.

Marina: I'm sorry that I made you run all the way down there for nothing.

Cyrus: Maybe it wasn't for nothing.

Marina: What do you mean?

Cyrus: Nothing. Forget it.

Marina: Well, you can come back now.

Cyrus: You know, something's come up. I could be a little while.

Marina: What's going on?

Cyrus: I'm just handling a lead. Why don't you go ahead and have dinner without me?

Marina: Anything I should know about?

Cyrus: Let me see if there's anything there first. Look, I should go. I love you. I'll talk to you later.

Next, on "Guiding Light."

Mallet: Come on, time's a-wasting. We go back to Florida tomorrow, remember?

Harley: We're going back to Florida together? I'm sorry for all of the times that I said you're crazy because clearly I am the person who is nuts here. I've been running. I'm out of breath. I've been running and running...

Blake: From?

Harley: My past. And my future.
