Josh: Excuse me. I got a phone call. Cassie. Hello. Cassie? Hey, what are you doing here?
Marina: Josh, you can blame me, I brought her in.
Josh: Why?
Marina: She was parked outside the Spaulding estate.
Josh: Well, so what?
Marina: Josh, I can't even imagine what you guys are going through right now. And I know it Cassie has every reason to blame Alan, and to want to see some kind of justice.
Josh: I still don't get what you're trying to say here.
Marina: Look, this isn't the first time that she has parked out there. Josh, she has to stop stalking Alan Spaulding.
Josh: Stalking-- wait a minute, wait a minute, she's the victim here. Don't you think she has been through enough really? We have to help her, support her, and we have to let her grieve in any way she has to. There's no right or wrong in this situation.
Tammy: Marina is right. You have to stop. You have to let go.
Cassie: I can’t. I don't want to.
Josh: Cassie? Who are you talking to?
Coop: Your honor, I would like to say a few words on behalf of my sister Harley. She's so many things, a dedicated and decorated cop, a devoted and loving wife and mother. I've never met anyone as loyal and loving as she is. I think Sydney would be the luckiest kid on earth to be able to call Harley her mother. Thank you. Well?
Ava: Well, it sounds totally rehearsed.
Coop: Maybe that's because I'm rehearsing right now. Ava, I just want this hearing to go really well for them.
Ava: It will go well.
Coop: Well, from your lips to the judge's ears. Those lips...
Ava: (Laughs) You need to get to the hearing, and I need to get to work.
Coop: Is that your way of saying you're sorry about the other night?
Ava: Sorry about the other night? I'm not sorry about the other night. It was... it was...
Coop: Us. But it was just a one night? Look, I get it. I get it. But, I just don't see why it couldn't be the start of a lot of nights just like it. Hmmm? Unless there is someone standing in our way.
Alan-Michael: It's right here on my desk. Of course, I've read it. The whole town's reading it. Chet, Chet. Do you think you're the only concerned board member who I've talked to since this has happened? No, no, my father is not here. I am the C.E.O., not him. And I have no intention of letting Alan Spaulding tabloid lifestyle effect the businesses of Spaulding Enterprises. I don't really care if you find that hard to believe. It's the truth. Hello? Hello? Damn! (Knock on the door)
Jeffrey: Yeah, I wish I could say I felt sorry for you. True, Doris Wolfe was once my boss, but she is about to become your stepmother.
Gus: This one or the goldie...
Harley: This is way too bold. How about the gold? That's nice
Gus: It's got stripes in it, stripes in it.
Harley: That's a nice suit.
Gus: That's it? That's the choices.
Buzz: Guys.
Gus: Nothing, either one of them, you would look hot. I'm just saying.
Harley: I don't want to look hot. I want to look maternal.
Gus: I'm not insulting you.
Buzz: Guys, guys, guys, take a breath. Come on, the judge is not going to care what you're wearing. He wants to hear what is in your heart, how much you love Sydney, how much you want to raise her and give her a real shot at a great life.
Harley: We do want to raise her because we love her. We all love her. Her big brothers love her and her big sister loves her.
Buzz: I'm convinced.
Harley: I saw that. Nice, Daddy. I'll say that in court.
Gus: Where is her big sister?
Harley: If I had to make a guess, I would say she is upstairs looking in the mirror practicing her testimony because she wants to do so well for us today.
Gus: Bring enough for the whole class?
Daisy: The pills are for a headache.
Gus: I know all about pills. I know all about headaches.
Daisy: Is that your way of saying that you want to share?
Gus: Look at you with the very strong ones.
Daisy: Yeah, they're supposed to help me relax.
Gus: You think that's a good idea, to be getting high before you testify on behalf of your mother?
Daisy: That's what the pills are for. I know how much you care about that baby. I don't want you to lose her. I don't want to screw up.
Gus: You're just nervous, all right, Daisy.
Daisy: No, no, I'm not. Because nervous is "I don't want to fail this history test." No, I'm more freaking out.
Gus: Look, pull it together, okay? This is a second chance for you and your mom. She wants to give that baby a nice home, but that has no bearing on your relationship with her. She loves you. She wants to be there for you, and you love her, too, right? Right? So you go to the judge and tell him that it's that simple.
Daisy: It's not simple. What if he finds out I was in the car with G?
Gus: He's not going to find out. The only person who knows that is me.
Daisy: What if "G" decides to talk?
Gus: It's not going to happen. He's on a one-way ticket to Australia.
Daisy: I'm never going to see him again?
Gus: No. And consider yourself lucky.
Harley: Look at me. Look who spit up all over her mother.
Gus: Honey.
Harley: What's going on out here?
Gus: Nothing. She's is little nervous about the hearing.
Harley: Don't be nervous. You're going to be-- I don't want to hug you. You're going to be fine. We're just happy to have you here. Happy to have you in our family. Okay?
Daisy: Okay.
Harley: Would you hold your sweet little angel while I grab a Tide stick and a shower.
Buzz: What, have we got a love fest out here, come on, we have to go. No, wait. Come on, come on, come on, let's commemorate this. Get back, get back, get back. Squeeze in. Squeeze in. Squeeze in. Come on, alright. Applesauce on... come on, say "Welcome to the family."
Gus: Welcome to the family.
Harley: Welcome to the family.
Alan-Michael: If you're here to rub salt into my family's wounds, take a number.
Jeffrey: Well, you know, that sounds like fun, but actually I'm on my way to help a real family. Gus and Harley. Their adoption hearing is today.
Alan-Michael: Good for them. But what do you want with me?
Jeffrey: Well, your family, and stop me if you've heard this already, is toxic, a rotting cesspool full of delusional power-mad nut cases.
Alan-Michael: Yeah, I'm with you so far.
Jeffrey: Gus, unfortunately, happens to be a Spaulding.
Alan-Michael: Don't worry. If anyone asks, we never see him.
Jeffrey: Well good, that's a start.
Alan-Michael: But this isn't just about Gus, is it?
Jeffrey: If you care about Ava, then you will release her from her contract.
Alan-Michael: Right. You know, Ava is a big girl. She knows what she is doing. And since when do you speak for her?
Jeffrey: Well, since she retained me as her lawyer. Incidentally, I reviewed the terms of the contract, and you already violated them.
Alan-Michael: How do you figure that?
Jeffrey: You're little weekend jaunt to Paris which turned into a week.
Alan-Michael: I wasn't holding her prisoner. She was free to go any time she wanted. She stayed.
Jeffrey: Congratulations. It's too bad that your little plan to get Ava alone was derailed by the tragedy of Tammy Winslow’s death. Which makes me even more sure about this. You know Tammy was a beautiful, tender soul, a young woman who made some poor choices, and ended up paying for it. That's not going to happen with Ava.
Alan-Michael: I don't lie to Ava. She knows how I feel about her. You hide behind this attorney- client crap, trying to get close enough to start being a real father. Do you think you can make up for a lifetime by pushing me away, scaring me off? It's not going to happen. If you ask me, you're worse for Ava than I'll ever be.
Josh: Cassie. (Snaps fingers) Cassie. Hey, hey. You with me here?
Cassie: She's lying in the cold, hard ground. And where is the man who murdered her? What are you doing about Alan.
Marina: Cassie...
Cassie: No. You're doing nothing. He is walking around like a free man.
Marina: He is our prime suspect right now.
Cassie: And what good is that? What good is that if you don't make an arrest?
Marina: As soon as we have enough evidence to build up a case around him, we're going to arrest him.
Cassie: A case! Everyone in town knows he murdered my daughter. Everyone in town knows. Everyone in town is looking at me and feeling sorry for me and they're wondering what the hell it is you are waiting for!
Josh: Okay, listen, you have my word, alright. She will steer clear of Alan. Can we-- are we free to go now.
Marina: Yes.
Josh: Thank you very much.
Marina: Josh?
Josh: Um, you what. Thank you, thank you, I've got it under control. Thank you. This is your stuff? Come on. Hey, hey, you want to see a movie or something like that?
Cassie: A movie?
Josh: Yeah, I'm not a very good liar.
Cassie: This is insane.
Josh: I know. It's so obvious... it's stupid.
Cassie: Well, I don't think it is funny.
Josh: Cassie, he's not going to get away with it, okay?
Cassie: Isn't that what Alan does? He gets away with things?
Josh: Listen, I will get him, and I'll use any and all influence I have, no matter what it takes, no matter what it costs. I will get Alan Spaulding. Look at me, Cassie. I promise.
Cassie: I'm no better than he is, you know. I want to see his picture in the obituaries. I want him dead. Josh, what are we doing here?
Josh: Do you trust me?
Cassie: Yeah.
Josh: Well, you asked me to help you, and that's what I want to do. See, I'm not sure that I'm what you need right now. But maybe she is.
Cassie: Who? A shrink? You think I'm losing it?
Josh: No, I don't --
Cassie: No, it's okay. Because I am losing it. I realize I'm losing it. I'm more than losing it. But I don't think I'm comfortable with this.
Felicia:: If you'd like to talk, I'm here to listen. That's all. But if you're not comfortable, I understand.
Josh: Cassie, I'm sorry. I don't know what I was thinking. Thank you. I apologize.
Felicia: It's okay.
Cassie: No, it's okay. I'll stay.
Josh: I'll be back in an hour. Thank you.
Cassie: Josh...
Alan-Michael: A press conference? I'm trying to avoid the press.
Ava: Which makes you look like you have something to hide.
Alan-Michael: I do have something to hide. My father is a horror show.
Ava: You cannot say that. Don't say that.
Alan-Michael: Aren't you supposed to be helping me?
Ava: I am.
Alan-Michael: Not by calling a press conference, you're not. I need a talking points, a contingency plan. You know, a strategy.
Ava: For what?
Alan-Michael: For spinning my father's arrest, his marriage to the D.A. Spinning the fact that the Spaulding board is close to revolt.
Ava: There is no time for spinning. You said the dam is about to burst. Sink or swim. Sink or swim, I kind of like that. Have to write that down.
Alan-Michael: Whenever you're done being impressed with yourself...
Ava: I gave them an exclusive.
Alan-Michael: Remember I told you it didn't matter you had no experience?
Ava: Yup. I kind of like seeing you twisting in the wind. It's almost kind of cute.
Alan-Michael: You're so fired.
Ava: Hey, Becca. He's all yours.
Becca: So what inspired you to make this donation?
Alan-Michael: Donation?
Becca: Isn't $10 million a bit of a distraction from all of the bad press you've been getting? Why don't you tell us more about this Find Your light Foundation.
Alan-Michael: Well, the $10 million donation...
Ava: The $10 million donation to Findyyourlight.net. Yeah, I know you wanted to keep it anonymous. But I think the people of Springfield, the people of the world, actually, should know what Spaulding Enterprises really stand for.
Jeffrey: It's all right if you appear to be anxious. It's your life after all. The judge understands that. Just be honest, okay.
Gus: What about the...
Jeffrey: Yeah, well he is going to try to slip the knife in whenever he gets a chance, so be sharp.
Harley: Try to bait us?
Jeffrey: You can count on that. Don't be defensive, that's my job. Just be positive. And, you know, then we'll get the character witnesses up there. We'll get Daisy up there to explain what a great family you have. That's all.
Buzz: Hey, you all set?
Harley: Yeah, I think so.
Coop: Harley, I'm ready. Should I mention that story when we went on the hike and you tried to lose me in the woods, do you think it will help out?
Harley: I can't believe you held on to that.
Coop: It will be all right. This family does not lose.
Harley: Right.
Coop: Right.
Gus: You all right? Just breathe.
Daisy: What if it comes out...
Gus: Just remember what I said, okay?
Daisy: Don't think about it.
Gus: Right. Think about what a fantastic sister you're going to be.
Daisy: Think about the good things, okay.
Judge: Good day, everyone. I'd like to remind you all this is not a trial. We're here to determine the best interests of a child. And while I will listen impartially to arguments for and against Mr. And Mrs. Aitoro's position to adopt, I must state something for the record: I will not be swayed by your appeals in the media. That being said, tell me, why is Sydney better off with you rather than her own flesh and blood?
Ava: In the past, Spaulding Enterprises has been judged on its profits, like any other multi-national. But this is the 21st century. Corporate profits can't be the only criteria that we use to judge big businesses, right? What about what big businesses are doing for the community? A great businessman once said, "He who dies rich dies a failure."
Becca: But interesting timing, here, Mr. Spaulding.
Alan-Michael: I know what you're implying. And this sudden philanthropy has everything to do with the news in the tabloids.
Ava: Alan-Michael has been interested in the Find Your Light Foundation way before any of you guys started sniffing around. And, as you'll see, he does much more than just write a check. You may head out this way. What?
Alan-Michael: You are very good.
Ava: Does that mean I'm not fired?
Billy: Thanks. But Josh, look, if we take-- yeah-- if we take the service elevator and move it over to the south side, we can take advantage of the banquet, and if you look at it from the west, it will beef up the profile. Or we can nuke the whole thing and turn it into a parking lot.
Josh: How big is the parking lot?
Billy: Oh, come on, Josh.
Josh: I'm sorry, are we not talking about parking lots right now?
Billy: No, we're not.
Josh: I'm sorry.
Billy: Okay, I guess your mind is somewhere else.
Josh: Yeah. Thank you, though, for holding down the fort.
Billy: It's what I do best. Look, I take it your visit to the chapel doesn't produce any miracles?
Josh: Well, I prayed for strength and wisdom and I prayed that I would be smart enough to know how to help Cassie.
Billy: And?
Josh: Well, I was at least smart enough to ask someone who could help Cassie.
Billy: Well, for you, that's pretty big.
Josh: I just hope it's enough.
Cassie: Well, in my dreams, he's dead. And it's his funeral we're attending, and it's his body in the coffin, and it's his family that is grieving. And we're all fine. We're together, Tammy and Jonathan and Sarah, and me and Josh and R.J., we're all happy and together and whole. But I do more than just dream. I have parked outside of Alan’s house. And I-- I stare through the windows.
Felicia: Do you fantasize about hurting him?
Cassie: Sometimes.
Felicia: Cassie, in some ways this fantasy is a healthy release. If you can find a way to channel your anger and grief that way, you would never do the things that Alan would. You're better than that.
Cassie: Am I?
Felicia: You want to know how I know you're not like Alan?
Cassie: Yeah, how?
Felicia: Because of your Tammy. She was beautiful, inside and out. A gentle and loving soul.
Cassie: (Crying) I miss her so much. I would have given my life for hers.
Jeffrey: I think we can all agree that adoption is not about finding children for families. It's about finding families for children. And with this family, Sydney will have more than just a mother and a father, your honor. She will have the Coopers, a whole network of caring, loving people, committed to her happiness. Now I understand that ultimately it will be up to you to decide whether Harley and Gus are worthy, but for what it's worth, may I add that, well, I think that they are. They are two people with hearts big enough to accept into their lives, a child who they never knew before.
Mr. Donovan: Excuse me, your honor, Sydney already has family. Her uncle, Keith Driscoll has asked me to petition the court on behalf of him.
Jeffrey: Ah yes. Well, with all due respect, your honor, one a man does not a family make. And especially when that man is traveling the world, working for doctors without borders-- a worthy endeavor for sure-- but the man is hardly in a position to be caring for a child.
Mr. Donovan: So since he isn't here, he doesn't have any rights?
Judge: We will discuss Mr. Driscoll's qualifications later. Today is about the Cooper/Aitoro family. Which, by the way, is a two cop household, both providers in high risk occupations. You're going to have to convince me how smart that is. Now, let's begin. I would like to hear from all of you.
Coop: Your honor, we are a big family. We love big and we fight big. We cry big and we laugh big. We have big Thanksgivings, and we have big Christmases. Yeah, we're messy and we're loud and sentimental, and sometimes we can drive each other absolutely crazy. And none of us would have it any other way. In the short time that Sydney has been with our family, she has become a part of all of that.
Buzz: And don't even talk to me about biology, a family is what you make it.
Gus: And though we're not her biological parents your honor, there is a different kind of biology going on here, we know her laugh, we know her cry. We know her quiet times. You know, we-- it's as if we already are her mother and her father.
Coop: And you should just see the way her face just lights up every time Gus and my sister just walk in the room.
Buzz: These are from Christmas. Have you ever seen a happier kid than that in your life.
Gus: Besides, your honor, our kids already think they have a new baby sister.
Harley: We love her. We're willing to sacrifice anything for her. We're willing to follow any order you hand down. I was willing to walk through fire from the first time I met her. I just didn't realize at the time I would get to love her as my own little girl.
Judge: You seem to be a very happy family, but since Sydney cannot speak for herself, and your boys are very young, I would like to hear from a witness who hopes one day to be her big sister, Susan LeMay.
Daisy: Daisy, your honor.
Judge: Yes, Daisy, I believe that you have something that could add to this discussion. Mr. Aitoro is not your father, correct?
Daisy: No, no, your honor. My birth father, he lives in Minnesota, and my adoptive father died years ago.
Judge: Then, your mother raised you?
Harley: Your honor, if I may. I was very young when I had Daisy. And-- too young. I wanted her to have a good home. So I gave her up for adoption.
Judge: Just like Sydney’s parents walked out on her?
Alan-Michael: Anyone can throw money at a problem. But we care about these causes.
Ava: One of the supporters of Findyourlight.net is actually the hands on network and they are volunteers, they build houses, playgrounds, paint schools.
Alan-Michael: Spaulding cares about people as much as it cares about profits.
Ava: Has Alan Spaulding been getting bad press these days? Of course he has, but why we let that stop us from doing everything all the good we have planned? Our community's children will be playing on these playgrounds.
Alan-Michael: Springfield's future is Spaulding’s future.
Becca: Nice quote. Thanks, Ava, I'll tell you what, that almost makes me want to pitch it myself.
Ava: Find your light.
Becca: Dot net. Got it.
Ava: Got it.
Becca: Thanks.
Ava: Okay. They're gone, you can stop now.
Alan-Michael: Who says I want to stop. You try it.
Ava: Oh, I can throw a hammer down all right.
Alan-Michael: Big talk.
Ava: Yeah.
Billy: Josh, do you think Alan Spaulding and Doris are registered somewhere?
Josh: I can certainly think of a couple of things I would like to get him.
Billy: I have a big stick with his name on it, that's for sure. (Laughs)
Josh: Have you ever been in therapy?
Billy: Why you ask?
Josh: Just curious.
Billy: You're wondering if Felicia is going to be good enough?
Josh: I just want Cassie to get better.
Billy: You're doing everything possible.
Josh: I know. I didn't tell you this before. Cassie, she was staking out Alan Spaulding’s house, sort of stalking him.
Billy: Why do you think she's doing that?
Josh: I don't know. But I do know he is walking around town like he's innocent as a lamb, and he has the D.A. helping him out, and that is not a good thing.
Billy: Wait, wait, wait. Josh, Josh, don't even go there. You have to stay strong for Cassie here. You've got to show her love. You've got to show her there is something else besides anger.
Cassie: Would you call me crazy if I told you that I see Tammy?
Felicia: Well, first of all, I don't call people crazy, okay? So tell me about seeing her.
Cassie: Well, I mean, I think about her all the time, and then sometimes she is just there.
Felicia: Well, is she always around?
Cassie: No, not always. So I think when she's not there that she's blaming me.
Felicia: For what?
Cassie: For not saving her. For... for spending more time chasing men than being with her and being a good mother to her. For being a stripper. For everything I didn't do for her.
Felicia: Cassie, you gave your daughter everything that you possibly could.
Cassie: Oh, yeah? Like what? What did I give her? San Cristobel?
Felicia: What was wrong with that?
Cassie: It is no way to prepare a child for the real world. For a world with monsters in it like Alan. It was a stupid, stupid fairy tale.
Felicia: Did she ever say that?
Cassie: No.
Felicia: Well then, she never felt it.
Cassie: But if I had done one little thing differently, if I just held her on the phone for another minute or hugged her for one more minute, that's all it would have taken. It would have taken one more minute. And then she wouldn't have been there when the car came there for Jonathan.
Felicia: How do you know that? How do you know that? How do you know something wouldn't have happened the next day or the day after that? You have no way of knowing that? But what you know is that the young daughter you raised, your daughter, gave her life without hesitation to save another because that's who she was. And now she wants you to let her go. Let her go, Cassie.
Buzz: Harley did not abandon Daisy as a child! She was a child herself!
Coop: Dad, calm down.
Buzz: She was a... no, he's not even listening to me. He is not even listening to me. Do you have any idea what this cost her? We're still picking up the pieces.
Judge: Mr. O’Neill, I suggest Mr. Cooper leave the room until he can calm down.
Buzz: My daughter is mother of the year every damned day of the year and she does it while protecting citizens like you in your bed! She is going to be the best thing that ever happened to this little girl. I'm done.
Harley: Your honor, I am so sorry. I am so sorry if my father-- I'm actually not sorry because you just offended my father. You offended him by implying that I'm somehow less of a person for making a very adult decision when I was, as he said, just a child myself. But I can promise you, Sydney will never have to make that same decision, never.
Daisy: Can I say something?
Judge: Ms. LeMay?
Daisy: I used to blame my mom for giving me up. But any time that she has had a chance to be a part of my life, she did it. My mom-- my mom loves me. I know that. I haven't always made it easy for her, but she loves me because I'm her daughter. And she'll do the same for Sydney.
Judge: That's very persuasive. Now, I would like to move on to the question...
Mr. Donovan: Your honor, if I may ask some questions.
Judge: That is your prerogative, Mr. Donovan.
Mr. Donovan: Daisy, would you say that your mother has helped shaped the woman you are today?
Daisy: Yes.
Mr. Donovan: Do you know this man?
Daisy: Sure. His face has been all over the papers. He was the man who was driving the car that killed my cousin Tammy.
Jeffrey: Is there a point to this, your honor?
Mr. Donovan: Are you sure you only know this man from the papers?
Ava: Don’t.
Alan-Michael: Don't what? Be honest? Don't feel the way I feel? Or maybe you're saying don't to yourself. Maybe I'm not the only one feeling this way. Okay, you just bailed me out.
Ava: That was business.
Alan-Michael: Right.
Ava: You know what, the truth is, the truth is I love working for you. I love the money, the perks, the travel. I love everything, but you know what, we have to keep this professional.
Alan-Michael: Wait, can you say that again?
Ava: We have to keep this professional.
Alan-Michael: No, no, no. The part about you love me this, you love me that.
Ava: I'm serious, Alan- Michael.
Alan-Michael: Okay, look. I know you and Coop still have feelings for each other and I respect that...
Ava: And I spent the other night with him, the entire night with him, all night long.
Alan-Michael: Oh.
Ava: So if we can't keep this professional between the two of us, then I need to turn in my hard hat.
Cassie: Excuse me, I wanted to leave this box for Lillian, for the winter clothes drive.
Nurse: Oh, my gosh.
Cassie: What?
Nurse: We never get clothes this nice.
Cassie: Well, go ahead and pick out anything you want. They belonged to my daughter. She's about your size.
Nurse: Mrs. Winslow, I am so sorry.
Cassie: Please, please, it's okay. Really. She would want someone to have them who knows how cool they are. Oh, but not that.
Nurse: I'm sorry.
Cassie: No, I'm sorry. It's okay. I want you to take everything. Take it.
Nurse: Thanks.
Josh: Well, that's one of the bravest things I've ever seen.
Cassie: Felicia helped.
Josh: Good, I'm glad. I'm very proud of you.
Cassie: Would you do me a favor though, and call her and tell her I'm okay, because I kind of left in a hurry, so...
Josh: Sure. I'll do that outside.
Cassie: Thanks.
Jeffrey: Your honor, I don't see how this line of questioning is relevant to this hearing.
Harley: Obviously, you're not a parent, ambushing an innocent girl like this.
Mr. Donovan: Innocent, I don't think so. How much do you really know your daughter, Mrs. Cooper?
Harley: What are you implying, Mr. Donovan?
Judge: What is the relevance, Mr. Donovan?
Mr. Donovan: This photo was taken by Ms. LeMay's roommate, Tiffany Barker.
Daisy: Tiffany? She is my ex-roommate. She has a belly-button ring, you can't believe anything she says.
Mr. Donovan: The question here, Ms. LeMay is whether or not we can believe you. Your honor, I have Tiffany Barker's sworn statement, along with corroborating statements taken under oath from the manager and waitress from the Zebra Club in Chicago. Ms. LeMay was at that club with Mr. Gillespie.
Jeffrey: Your honor, we have never heard of these witnesses. This is the first we've heard of these statements.
Mr. Donovan: You didn't just know Mr. Gillespie from the newspapers. You knew him intimately. The man who killed your cousin Tammy, he was your boyfriend.
Next on "Guiding Light"...
Alan: I hope that our divorce will be as painless as possible.
Beth: And I hope that you and that soulless bride of yours are ready for a fight.
Lizzie: Please tell me that...
Ashlee: Yes, my mom and I are moving in with you guys.
Beth: So you think I'm just going to go quietly into the good night, is that it? Well, think again.
Doris: You can't compete.
Beth: Maybe you've underestimated me.
Daisy: When I got into the car that night, I had no idea that "G" was going to -- well you have to believe me. Tammy was my cousin. I would never have done anything to hurt her. No, I swear.
