Olivia: Of course, I would love for it to be official. But the important thing is that Julian's trial is over now. He's gonna be in prison for the next 15 years at least, which means, adoption or no adoption, you and I get to raise Leo together.
Ned: I like the sound of that. Although I may not have quite as much free time to spend with Leo. I'm seriously considering going back to ELQ full time.
Olivia: Really? Well, I'm sure that Michael would be thrilled to have you.
Ned: Actually, it was his idea. He wants me to come on board as vice president of new business. And I have to admit, it's a little strange thinking of myself in second position behind my much younger cousin.
Olivia: Aren't you the one that's always telling me how capable Michael is?
Ned: Yes. But with all due respect, I'm more capable.
Olivia: [Chuckles]
Ned: Not that I have any intention of staging a coup. Just the opposite. In fact, I'm covering for him right now while he's in North Africa on business.
Nelle: This place is amazing!
Michael: Whoever picked this location for the photo shoot definitely did their homework.
Nelle: That would be Nina.
Michael: Well, she has great taste. Wow.
Nelle: I thought I was just gonna be admiring it in pictures. I had no idea that I'd actually get to stay here.
Michael: Yeah, well, luckily they had a suite available last minute.
Nelle: I don't know how much of that was luck and how much of that was just you pulling some strings.
Michael: Well, I do business with a friend of the owner, and she was more than happy to accommodate. Here we are.
Nelle: You know, obviously it's no big deal to you, but I just keep thinking I'm gonna wake up on the pier in Port Charles and realize this was all just a dream. This is incredible.
[Michael pinches her]
Nelle: Ow!
Michael: See, well, you're not dreaming.
Nelle: Still seems too good to be true.
[Kiss]
Felicia: One of my contacts gave me a heads up. I should have something on Nelle soon.
Bobbie: What do you mean, something?
Felicia: Well, all he said was he found what you've been looking for.
Amy: Thank you for coming.
Nathan: Well, your text said "urgent." What's up?
Amy: I heard from the publisher. Quinn's here in the hotel, and she needs to see us now.
Maxie: No, I'm already in Port Charles. Don't worry about researching "Ask Man Landers." Your other project takes priority. Yes, I'm sure. Ooh, and I can't wait to see Nathan's face when I tell him my other news.
Amy: I think Quinn is gonna tell us that everything for the "Ask Man Landers" publicity campaign is a go.
Nathan: The publicity campaign where nobody ever actually sees my face?
Amy: Exactly. We get through this, and you can finally celebrate ending something you never wanted in the first place.
Nathan: [Sighs]
Amy: Let's just do this. [Chuckles]
Nathan: And where are we...?
Amy: Room 853.
Bobbie: Hey.
Carly: Hey.
Bobbie: Hi. So, Felicia thinks she may have some major information about Nelle soon.
Carly: Oh, uh, wow. Mom, I'm sorry. I forgot to tell you. I changed my mind. Whatever information you and Felicia dig up on Nelle, uh, I don't want to know.
André: Thanks. Hey. Sam. It's good to see you out and about after your stint at the hospital.
Sam: Thank you. It's good to feel like things are finally getting back to normal.
André: Good. If you don't mind my asking, when we spoke last, you told me about some fears you've been repressing, fears that may have led to hallucinations about your husband being in danger.
Sam: Yeah, I-I did. But you know what? After today, I don't think I'm gonna have to worry about that anymore.
Jason: Any second thoughts?
Sonny: Uh, the sooner we do this, the sooner I know what's gonna happen next.
Jason: All right, let's get it done.
Sonny: I really appreciate you doing this for me.
Jason: I've been doing this with you for the majority of my entire adult life. Here to the end.
Sonny: Thank you all for coming.
Man: You summoned us for this urgent meeting. Now that we're here, we're curious as to what is so pressing.
Sonny: I'm sure you've all heard the rumors, and I'm here to tell you they're true. I'm retiring.
Olivia: It's here! It's here, it's here, it's here.
Ned: What is?
Olivia: My -- my pizza oven! I've always wanted one, and I know that the Quartermaines have a tradition of always ordering pizza on Thanksgiving. So I figured now...
[Car door closes]
Olivia: ...You're not gonna have to wait for the delivery 'cause I'm gonna be able to make it homemade just for you!
Ned: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! That is not how the curse operates.
Olivia: There's a curse?
Ned: Well, there has to be. I don't know who laid it on us, but I know when it started -- 1994. And ever since, no Thanksgiving meal, no matter how carefully planned, has ever worked out, which means if you make a pizza on purpose, something is bound to happen, and we'll have to order Chinese or something.
Olivia: Those bricks are gonna look so spectacular right outside the kitchen patio. Okay, I got to go oversee the installation.
Ned: Olivia, whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold on a second.
Olivia: What?
Ned: Does Cook know about this?
Olivia: What do you mean?
Ned: Well, you were supposed to call her and tell her to come back.
Olivia: Right, right. That was Monica's suggestion.
Ned: Well, I think it was more than just a suggestion.
Olivia: Well, I decided against it.
Ned: Uh, is Monica aware of your decision?
Olivia: Look, look, they're -- they're taking the oven off the truck right now! Ned, I'm sorry. I got to go! I got to go!
Ned: [Sighs]
[Cell phone beeps]
Ned: So much for your business trip, Michael.
Bobbie: Felicia has been scouring Nelle's past to try and find out what she's been hiding. And now that her source thinks they have finally hit pay dirt, you don't want to know? Oh, no. They're taking overseas trips together? Oh, honey. We've got to nip this ASAP.
Carly: No, we don't. Look, Michael's happy. And as much as I've been fighting it, I have to admit that Michael is capable of taking care of himself and making his own decisions.
Bobbie: Nelle has played all of us for months, so now what? You have suddenly found it in your heart to forgive her?
Carly: I wouldn't go that far, Mom.
Bobbie: Okay. What if Felicia's source really does have something on Nelle?
Carly: And what if they don't? I mean, what if Nelle jaywalked or bought booze underage with a fake ID or had an affair? I don't care! I don't care.
Bobbie: Honey, isn't it better to know for sure? I mean, come on. Are you really ready to give up? Just forgive and forget everything that happened without even knowing what this is all about? [Sighs]
André: Well, just because your circumstances have changed for the better, it doesn't mean that the underlying anxiety will go away.
Sam: Yeah, well, I guess we really don't let go of things that quickly.
André: Ha. No, no. If we did, I'd have a lot more time to practice my golf.
Sam: Oh, you golf?
André: No, because I'm too busy helping people deal with their repressed emotions to learn how. Speaking of helping...
Sam: What?
André: I know you haven't made an appointment yet, but that doesn't mean you won't change your mind. And my door is always open, Sam.
Sam: That's very sweet. Thank you. But I have been given a clean bill of health.
André: And those thoughts that were troubling you, they're no more? No more concern about your husband being in any kind of danger?
Woman: We have heard the rumors. But it seemed unlikely that a man in your position would choose to step down.
Man: Is this the part where you tell us that Jason Morgan is now running the show, and we better not try anything?
Sonny: On the contrary. Jason's already retired. And I can assure you that he agrees with my arrangement.
Man: And what are those arrangements?
Sonny: I will be evenly distributing my territory between the remaining families. My legit businesses, including but not limited, to Corinthos Coffee will remain with me.
Man: Can't be simply giving all this away for free. What's the price?
Sonny: Max and my associates will be taken care of. Jason and his family, my family will be protected by your organizations.
Man: That's it?
Second Man: It can't be.
Third Man: No catches? No tricks? All you ask in return is protection?
Sonny: That's right. Do we have a deal?
Felicia: If you find something, send it the moment you have it. Thanks.
Maxie: Big case?
Felicia: Maxie! I had no idea you were coming!
Maxie: I wanted it to be a surprise.
Felicia: Well, I'm really thrilled to see you, but usually our visits end up being so short.
Maxie: Well, I have an even bigger surprise. I'm home for good.
Felicia: You mean you're home to stay? What happened in Portland?
Maxie: Oh, don't get me wrong. I loved my job and seeing Georgie almost every day. Choosing between Port Charles and Portland seemed impossible. I was agonizing over it. And then I talked to Spinelli.
Felicia: Oh, yes, yes, leave it to Spinelli to find a logical, if longwinded, solution.
Maxie: [Chuckles] Well, we arranged it so I can see Georgie more often, which is easier now that she's older. You know, it's really great when you and your ex can be best friends.
Felicia: I imagine so.
Maxie: So basically it came down to my job versus Nathan. Great opportunity work-wise versus the kindest, sexiest, most faithful man that I know.
Felicia: Yeah, he's so many of those things.
Maxie: You know, in a way, you and Mac helped me see the light.
Felicia: Us?! How?
Maxie: Yeah, that night you were almost busted for public indecency.
Felicia: Oh, Maxie, how can you bring that up? And how could that be inspiration to you?
Maxie: I was so mad at "Ask Man Landers" for advising Mac to spice up your marriage with al fresco sex.
Felicia: Well, in all fairness, that was Mac's interpretation.
Maxie: My point is, I did some digging into the "Ask Man Landers" blog, and as much as I really hate to admit this, he had a compelling argument about the power of love and putting it first.
Felicia: I see.
Maxie: That doesn't mean that I am done with "Ask Man Landers." I am gonna unmask that mystery man if it's the last thing I do.
Quinn: So, the "Ask Man Landers" rollout is going to be spectacular. And these are going to be everywhere. Aren't they fabulous?
Amy: [Chuckles] How...exciting!
Quinn: Well, I'm glad you like it.
Amy: I do. I do. I'm just wondering...
Quinn: Yes?
Quinn: Is it necessary?
Quinn: Well, as opposed to what?
Amy: Something a little more mysterious.
Nathan: Or maybe a little less close.
Quinn: Well, this cutout is gonna come in handy even after the publishing party.
Amy: Publishing party?
Quinn: Mm-hmm. Congratulations. "Ask Man Landers" has been chosen to be our major publishing event of the season, which means the author will be there signing autographs, meeting his fans with tons and tons of press.
Amy: Will he be wearing a ski mask?
Quinn: [Chuckling] Well, no. He'll be looking as stunning and gorgeous as he appears to us right now. Oh, darling! Listen, if that happens during the event, just lose your shirt, okay, because the fans will love it. [Chuckles]
Nelle: I have a confession to make.
Michael: Okay.
Nelle: This is the first time I've used my passport.
Michael: Really?
Nelle: Mm-hmm. Yeah, I got it a couple years ago, you know, just to have. In case I had a reason to fly somewhere exotic, I'd be ready. So finally last night...
Michael: You became an international traveler.
Nelle: It just feels like a fantasy come true, you know? And now with you here just smack-dab in the middle of it, it just... it's even better.
Michael: We need to document our adventure. Come on. To the blue door.
Nelle: [Chuckles]
Michael: Stand right there. Here we go.
[Cell phone beeps]
Michael: Come on, give me a little more now. You can do better than that.
Nelle: If you want more, you're gonna have to go inside.
Michael: I like the way you think.
Nelle: [Chuckles]
Michael: Let me just, uh, post this real quick.
Nelle: Oh, God, will the romance never stop?
Michael: Almost done. Wait for it. And...done. Voilà. Hmm? Don't you love it?
Nelle: More and more every day.
Carly: Okay, I will never forget what Nelle did to me, what she did to all of us, all right? But I-I can't deny that everything she did was because someone she trusted lied to her.
Bobbie: And instead of confronting you honestly, she hatched this crazy revenge plot.
Carly: Mom, sometimes when we're led to believe the wrong thing, we make horrible mistakes.
Bobbie: Okay. What's going on?
Carly: What do you mean?
Bobbie: You are the most stubborn creature in all of creation. No one, not even my brother, is as devoted to holding on to a grudge as you are.
Carly: [Scoffs]
Bobbie: So, why all of a sudden the 180 on Nelle? And don't tell me it has something to do with Michael's newfound bliss. Something happened.
Carly: You're right. Something did.
Woman: We should have an agreement for you by tonight.
Man: Best of luck, Corinthos. You're gonna need it. Hope you know what you signed up for.
Sonny: Right back at you. Max, show our guests out.
Max: Excuse me. Right this way.
Sonny: I've spent a lifetime building an empire, and in just one handshake, it ends.
Jason: Yeah, well, let's just hope everybody is as on board as they seem to be.
Sonny: I think they'll see the light.
Jason: I hope so. But we're in uncharted territory here. Most people don't get to walk away, much less two.
Sonny: Well, I'm walking.
Jason: Congratulations.
Sonny: Yeah.
Jason: You made the right choice.
Carly: You know, uh, there was a situation, and I can't get into the details.
Bobbie: Has to do with Sonny's business.
Carly: Uh, sort of. And it's really complicated. Really complicated.
Bobbie: Okay, then let me simplify. I have no desire to know anything about Sonny's business. But if you want me to back off on Nelle, I need to know why, and I need to know now.
[Cell phone chimes]
Carly: I'm doing the right thing.
Bobbie: [Sighs]
Carly: I am.
Bobbie: And how is letting your son fall into this man trap the right thing?
Carly: [Sighs] Mom, I've learned something about Michael. I have. Every single time that I try to protect him from some awful truth that I was sure was going to destroy his life, he found out. He found out. And guess what? It didn't destroy his life. It didn't. Michael has survived more than any young kid should ever have to endure, and he still has this great, big heart. And he should hold on to that.
Bobbie: Oh, so that's why all of a sudden, for reasons you don't want to tell me, you're turning a blind eye.
Carly: No, I'm not! My eyes are wide open here. They are.
Bobbie: Then why?
Carly: I need to let Michael live his own life. I do. And to have the freedom to make his own decisions.
Bobbie: And make his own mistakes.
Michael: You know, we still have some time before you have to go to work.
Nelle: Mm-hmm.
Michael: How about we do a little, uh, pre-photo shoot photo shoot, huh? There's all this exotic scenery around trying to upstage you. Let's give it a run for its money.
Nelle: Thanks, but I don't think we should post a whole collage of our day in Morocco.
Michael: Documenting our lives every two minutes getting a little crass?
Nelle: Think it's just the way I grew up, you know? Weren't really big on picture taking. Just holiday or a birthday here and there, and I've never really liked the way that I look in pictures. Also, you know, I'm just not a fan of social media.
Michael: Well, I get the whole social media thing. It can be kind of obnoxious, but, Nelle, to not like the way you look in pictures, that's -- that's ridiculous. I mean, you are so beautiful.
Nelle: Believe me, Michael. There are some pictures of me out there I would really rather forget.
Ned: Business? Really, Michael? You want to take a little trip with Nelle, you could have just said so. You didn't have to feed me a line about how you had to check our holdings and could I hold down the fort while you post selfies from Marrakech. What is that?
Olivia: A brick. A beautiful, red oven brick.
Ned: I can see that. What I meant was, why are you carrying it?
Olivia: Because it's all I have left of my dream!
Ned: Oh. Was there a problem with the installation?
Olivia: Oh, yeah, yeah, I'll say there's a problem, and her name is Cook 2. Apparently when I didn't hire her back, Monica did.
Ned: Well, it is Monica's house. Alan gave it to her.
Olivia: Yeah, oh, believe me, I get that. I understand that now. And she's given Cook 2 complete and total free reign over the kitchen.
Ned: I wouldn't worry. She's actually a pussycat compared to Cook 1.
Olivia: Oh, yeah? Well, that pussycat just terrorized my workmen into putting the pizza oven back on the truck. So now I've got no pizza oven, no handmade artisanal pizzas, and a tyrant who literally put a digital lock on a toaster oven. Ned, I've been totally outplayed!
Ned: I know the feeling. But maybe there are ways of striking back.
Jason: Hey, Sam.
Sam: Hi.
Jason: Hello. Everything okay?
Sam: Yeah. How'd it go with Sonny?
Jason: Smoother than expected, actually. I guess the other heads realized that protection was a small price to pay to expand their businesses.
Sam: Was there any pushback?
Jason: No. You were right. It was important for me to be there. I appreciate the faith.
Sam: Wow. That's pretty formal. [Chuckles]
Jason: Yeah. And... knowing even more than I did how important it was for me to be there.
Sam: Yeah, you got it. Anytime. Actually, never again.
[Both chuckle]
Sam: But you're welcome.
Jason: Thank you. It's a deal. Never again.
Sam: Never again.
Jason: What's this?
Sam: Oh. This? Um, I ran into Dr. Maddox, and he wants me to schedule a few sessions with him.
Jason: Okay. Why?
Sam: Dr. Maddox made me realize a few things I was too afraid to admit myself.
Sonny: Max, can you hurry up and bring the car around? I...
Man: Max is a little busy at the moment. If you move, I'll kill him! Terrible way to repay his loyalty, don't you think?
Maxie: Unfortunately, Spinelli's too busy working on other cases to identify "Ask Man Landers," but as soon as he does, I'm gonna pitch the story to Nina and be back at Crimson in no time. It's too good of a story to --
Felicia: [Sighs deeply]
Maxie: Are you okay?
Felicia: No.
Maxie: Mom, trust me. I'm going to do everything I can to keep you and Mac out of my exposé.
Felicia: It's not that.
Maxie: Then what is it?
Felicia: It's just, well, I'm glad you're back. And -- and -- and I think it's wonderful what you're doing, giving up everything for love. I think it's wonderful and romantic. But have you even spoken to your husband?
Maxie: If I did that, it wouldn't be a surprise.
Felicia: Nathan will be surprised, all right.
Maxie: Yeah, he's been dying for me to come home. I know how happy he's gonna be to see me. And I hate to put it this way, but Nathan needs attention. Physical attention. Often.
Felicia: He does?
Maxie: Yeah. His needs are as healthy as he is. You seem surprised.
Felicia: Uh, really not.
Maxie: Can't make that poor guy suffer any longer by being so far away.
Felicia: Maybe you should have worried about that sooner.
Maxie: What?
Felicia: Nothing. You know what? I did not have breakfast. I am talking nonsense.
Maxie: Mom, you know something about Nathan, don't you?
Felicia: No. Nothing. I know nothing.
Maxie: Something that worries you.
Felicia: I've seen Nathan and Amy together a lot.
Maxie: Amy? Mom, Nathan went with Amy to the Nurses' Ball to help her out. Those pictures of them together meant nothing.
Felicia: That's not what I'm talking about.
Maxie: Then what are you talking about?
Felicia: [Sighs]
Maxie: Are you seriously implying that Nathan is cheating on me with Amy?
Felicia: You need to talk to Nathan.
Maxie: What gave you this ridiculous idea? Did you -- did you see them kissing?
Felicia: No, no, I-I haven't seen that.
Maxie: But you did see something.
Felicia: I saw the two of them get in an elevator at the Metro Court, but that's it. That's all.
Maxie: When?
Felicia: Half an hour ago.
Amy: Showing Nathan at the publishing party ruins everything! The whole anonymity concept is blown!
Quinn: We believe this strategy is the best of both worlds. The cutout builds suspense, tantalizing the reader to want to know more and more. And then they see this, well, I mean, more or less.
Amy: I vote less.
[Cell phone chimes]
Quinn: Oh, excuse me. Oh, okay. Listen, um, "Ask Man Landers" is going to come out of the shadows, and the reveal will be huge, and so will the sales.
Amy: But what will you do with the cutouts? Think of all that money on cardboard and...cardboard wasted.
Quinn: Oh, not at all. The cutout will simply remind the public that "Ask Man Landers" was once in the dark, a total mystery. Uh, I think you've got to face it, darlings that this is brilliant marketing.
Nathan: No, it isn't, and I didn't agree to it, so...
Quinn: Well, actually, you did.
Amy: He most certainly did not! His anonymity is stipulated in his contract!
Quinn: I think you two should get a lawyer to look over this. In the meantime, please read the boilerplate, especially subsection a, uh, paragraph 4, stipulation 8. So, here you go. Take a close look, all right?
Amy: Where are you going?
Quinn: I'm going to New York City. I've got a, uh, business meeting, and I can just make the 12:00 flight.
Amy: But we haven't settled this yet!
Quinn: Oh, my darling, I assure you that we have. Man Landers is contractually obligated to appear at the book launch party or the contract is null and void, okay? So I will be in touch, and have a nice day.
[Door closes]
Nathan: Okay, so please tell me she's lying.
Carly: Michael is a strong person. Mom, we have no reason to believe that Nelle wants to hurt Michael. Me, yes. That was in the past. And I can let that go. I can. Start fresh, right? For Michael, for Josslyn. And let's not forget, you know, she's alive because of Nelle.
Bobbie: Hmm. Nelle has proven she's more than willing to trade on your gratitude.
Carly: Okay, but we both got the benefit of a fresh start, right? Why not offer that to Nelle?
Bobbie: So let's just wait and see what Felicia's contact has dug up --
Carly: Tell Felicia to drop it.
Bobbie: Carly!
Carly: Mom, I know you mean well. I do. But everyone will be better off if we just let this go.
Bobbie: [Sighs]
Sam: I've got to tell you, five years ago when I-I thought I lost you, it broke something inside me, something that I've never been able to fix. Jason, I searched that harbor for you myself. It took me months to force myself to admit that you were gone.
Jason: I know all about this. You don't need to put yourself through it again. We're here now.
Sam: That's just the thing, Jason. On -- on some level, I never stopped going through it. Even with you here now, a part of me is always worried that something is gonna take you away from me. And that's not me. It's never been me. I've never been afraid of guns or cons or violence or sailing into the unknown. I fell in love with a man whose job it is to take a bullet for his boss.
Jason: Oh, well, I don't have a boss. And that's not my job anymore.
Sam: I know, but the fear is still there. Fear was always there, and there was nothing I could do about it, and I just pushed it down. I pushed it down so much that the illness finally was able to take advantage of it. It messed with my mind. Jason, I...almost killed our best friend, and that's how much I love you. That's how afraid I am of losing you.
Jason: I love you, too. And it's over now. We're past it.
Sam: [Sighs] You're right. I'm sorry. I should be stronger.
Jason: No. I'm glad you told me. I've got something to tell you. You don't have anything to worry about. I'm not going anywhere. Nothing's gonna happen to me. Sonny and I, we took care of that today.
Sam: Good. Good. Then I think we should celebrate, the four of us.
Jason: You think we should celebrate?
Sam: Yes.
Jason: Oh, really? Well, Carly might not be talking to me at the moment.
Sam: Carly? She can't stay mad at you for five minutes. It's been 12 hours. She's back to thinking you walk on water.
Jason: I love you.
Sam: I love you, too.
Jason: Okay. Let's give Sonny a call, see where he would like to celebrate.
Sonny: What the hell do you think you're doing, Petrov?
Petrov: Getting ready to shoot Max unless you hand over your gun.
[Cell phone vibrates]
[Ringing]
Jason: You know what? He's not answering. I should go check on him.
Sam: Wait, w-why? You said the meeting went well, that there was nothing to worry about.
Jason: There's not, but just to be sure. Think about where you want to celebrate. I'll be right back.
Max: Don't do it, boss.
Petrov: Shut up.
Max: You let him shoot me, and then you take him out.
Petrov: Your soldier seems eager to die.
Sonny: Okay, wait, no one -- no one has to get hurt.
Petrov: Drop it. Kick it over.
[Gun cocks]
Petrov: I mean it.
Sonny: Okay, you got my attention! Max. What's this about?
Petrov: How did you think this was gonna go, huh? You announce your retirement and we all offer you congratulations. Then line up for a slice, our slice, of your territory that we have to run by your rules. You're not stupid, Corinthos. You must be crazy to think that you can walk away from this business and live.
Amy: Those weasels! They're so sneaky! I swear they're worse than pharma reps.
Nathan: All right. Break it to me gently.
Amy: Nathan, I am so sorry. Quinn's right. She -- they -- have reserved the right to have you appear at the publishing launch.
Nathan: Look, I can't -- [Sighs] That can't happen.
Amy: I know. I know. With any luck, I can talk some sense into Quinn.
Nathan: I don't see that happening. You see the way she was looking at me when she was talking to us?
Amy: Nathan, everyone looks at you like that.
Nathan: No, they don't. I mean, she wants me unmasked and probably shirtless at this thing, you know, like some piece of meat. It's -- it's like all of the advice that we gave doesn't matter. You know, like my -- my brain and my heart and everything that I said as "Ask Man Landers" doesn't matter.
Amy: We'll figure a way out of this. I swear. We still have a little bit of time before the launch party.
Nathan: Look, can we just get out of here, okay? What if she misses her flight, in case she comes back?
Amy: Definitely. Let's blow this popsicle stand. We can figure out our strategy together somewhere safe.
Nathan: [Sighs]
Amy: Do not worry. This will always and forever be our little secret. But you really should button up your shirt. [Chuckles]
Felicia: Maxie, please call me back before you talk to Nathan. I'm feeling really bad about what I told you because, well, actually, it may be nothing, but I was telling you something, so -- oh, hang on. Oh, I have to take this call. Please, Maxie, call me back.
[Cell phone beeps]
Felicia: Hello? You have something for me on Nelle Benson? Yes. Send it now. Thank you.
[Cell phone beeps]
Bobbie: We need to talk. Carly wants us to drop the investigation into Nelle.
Felicia: You might want to rethink that.
Michael: We all go through an awkward stage. When I was a kid, we had all these pictures of me with three missing teeth. It was bad.
Nelle: I would love to see those.
Michael: No, Nelle, you would not. Those are under lock and key.
Nelle: Are you sure there's nothing I can do to change your mind? Um... nothing?
Michael: Mmm. I mean, maybe -- maybe, yeah, you can do a little something. But, uh, you're gonna have to work really, really hard.
Nelle: Oh.
[Kiss]
Carly: [Sighs]
Petrov: For years, you've controlled prime real estate, perfect for imports. Yet you refuse the most lucrative merchandise. Not me. I'm gonna take over your territory, the whole thing, not just a slice, and I'm gonna run it by my rules. You are not gonna protest because you are gonna be in the ground.
Jason: Put it down.
[Gun cocks]
Jason: Right now. Don't think about it. Put it down.
Nathan: I don't want you to worry about this, okay? We'll figure it out.
Amy: Of course, we will. We make a great team, right?
Nathan: Yeah.
Maxie: Nathan!
Nathan: Maxie, what are you --
[Maxie slaps Nathan]
Ned: I have authority over new business acquisitions. I don't need Michael to sign off on this, especially while he's away on "business." Draw up the papers.
[Birds chirping]
Ned: Wow! Look at you!
Olivia: Cook 2 or no Cook 2, I am more committed than ever to the art of pizza making. [Chuckles] I made the pizza dough, so I figure I might as well get in some practice.
Ned: Oh.
Olivia: You know, if at first you don't succeed, then...
Ned: I love -- I love that you want to do this. And you will. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow.
Olivia: Soon?
Ned: Yes. And for the rest of our lives.
Olivia: Yeah? So you really think that Monica's gonna make Cook 2 let me have the pizza oven?
Ned: No, no. But I have something even better in mind for both of us.
Nelle: I should really get ready for work. Shouldn't you?
Michael: Yeah.
Nelle: Don't you have to work?
Michael: I have a meeting this afternoon, then I-I fly to Barcelona tomorrow.
Nelle: You have to leave so soon?
Michael: No, no, no. It's just for a couple of hours. I'll be back in time to take you to dinner.
Nelle: Oh.
Michael: Although I guess I shouldn't assume. Nelle, would you like to come to dinner with me tomorrow night?
Nelle: I would love to. Although I-I don't know how late I'm gonna be working or how off-track the shoot is or what Nina's gonna need from me.
Michael: Okay, that's fine. We don't have to plan that far ahead. What are you doing for the next hour?
Nelle: I'm getting ready for work.
Michael: Ready for work? Okay, well, you don't need an hour to do that, now do you?
Nelle: Hmm... I need to take a shower, a cold one.
Michael: That sounds...refreshing. You mind if I join you?
Nelle: Well, then I'll definitely be late to work.
Michael: We'll manage our time wisely.
Nelle: Hey, Michael, Michael, Michael. Thank you for coming with me... and for making this the best day of my life.
Bobbie: Whatever trouble Nelle got herself into, Carly doesn't want to know about it.
Felicia: Trust me, she'll want to know about this.
Bobbie: No, no, she insists that Michael is a grown man and he's capable of running his own life.
Felicia: Michael doesn't know all the details. Neither does Carly.
Bobbie: But she doesn't care what Nelle may or may not have done before she came to Port Charles.
Felicia: Really? How does Carly feel about murder?
Bobbie: [Gasps]
[Cell phone beeps]
Carly: [Sighs]
Petrov: Drop it or I'll kill them.
Jason: I will put a hole in your head.
Sonny: Max!
Petrov: I will pull the trigger!
Jason: Get out of the way, Sonny!
Sam: Jason!
[Footsteps approaching hurriedly]
[Jason pushes Sam out of the way and gets shot in the chest.]
Sam: [Echoing] No! Jason!
On the next "General Hospital" --
Maxie (to Amy): You want my husband? You can share this with him. (She slaps her)
Nina: What are you doing here, Valentin?
Bobbie (to Felicia): Do you think she's a killer?
Dillon (to Nelle): How's it feel to have a small fortune of sapphires around your neck?
Carly (to Josslyn): I wanted to talk to you about Sonny.
Sonny (to Sam): Keep talkin' to him!
Sam (to Jason): Please, open your eyes, please.
