Episode #13587 ~ Ava blackmails Nikolas into taking her with him out of England; Julian is tempted to kill Alexis to keep her quiet; Sam is on her way home; Finn successfully diagnoses Baby Teddy with infant botulism but is subsequently arrested by Valerie when Dr. Obrecht calls the police.

Sam: Hey. You've been gone for hours. I was worrying.

Jason: Sorry. I, um, I've been a bit busy. I've, uh, stopped everyone I saw in a five-mile radius of Lynch Manor. I asked if they saw Nikolas. If they have, they're not talking. But, then again, we are in the country. Not a lot of people around, you know?

Sam: [Sighs] So basically, our chances of finding Nikolas are getting worse all the time.

Jason: Pretty much.

Ava: Oh.

Nikolas: What?

Ava: Nikolas.

Nikolas: Hmm? What?

Ava: Nikolas!

Nikolas: What? Huh?

Ava: Uh, what happened last night?

Monica: Why are you both here? Is someone sick? Who's in the exam room?

Tracy: Monica, relax. I-I was seeing the doctor that was assigned to my case. You should be thrilled that I'm following your asinine rules. It's ridiculous that you will not allow Dr. Finn to see patients. And by the way, you are gonna owe him a big, fat apology.

Monica: Why are you here?

Michael: Um, I-I was driving Tracy. Uh, she's still frail from her illness.

Sabrina: What do you think is wrong with my son?

Finn: Right now, I can't say. But I promise you, I'm gonna figure it out.

Felix: Dr. Finn is a brilliant diagnostician. Teddy's in good hands. Felix, you're about to break about a dozen rules, so I understand if you're uncomfortable assisting me any further.

Felix: For Teddy and Sabrina, I'll do anything.

Sabrina: Oh, thank you. Please help him. Please.

Finn: I will.

Julian: Um...I was just picking up some things. Obviously, I had no idea that you would be home. But, you know, it's good to see you. How are you?

Alexis: Considering that I spent the night in jail for a murder you committed, not great.

Julian: Right, right. Well, I mean, you're out. So what happened? I mean, is it too much to hope that the charges against you were dropped?

Alexis: Yeah. Yeah, it is. I was arraigned. I posted bail. And now I'm released until my trial date.

Carlos: It's fate. She's out of jail. You two are all alone. It's the perfect opportunity to rid yourself of the one person who could send you to prison for the rest of your life. Kill her. Kill her now.

Julian: [Sighs] Well, I knew the, uh, I knew the court would go easy on you. If I would have been arrested, I probably would have been forced to stay in jail until my trial.

Alexis: Probably.

Julian: Well, I at least wish you would have let me know about your arraignment. You know, I could have been there to support you, to post bail for you.

Alexis: I don't want your support. I don't want your money. I don't want anything from you, so do us both a favor. Leave.

Carlos: Find a reason to stay.

Julian: [Scoffs] I told you, Alexis. I'm your husband. We took vows. We're gonna be together until death do us part.

Alexis: Will you stop?

Julian: I love you, so let me take care of you.

Alexis: Okay. Stop pretending that this marriage means anything to you, because if it did, you wouldn't have gone after Carlos in the first place.

Julian: Everything I've done, I've done for us. I mean...

Alexis: You keep saying that.

Julian: [Sighs]

Alexis: That's the worst thing you could say to me.

Julian: Okay. Fine, but... I-I'm not leaving you, especially when you look so tired and exhausted.

Alexis: I look like this because of what you've done. [Scoffs] I'm gonna be sick. [Groans and runs upstairs]

Carlos: Well, that went well.

Julian: [Sighs]

Carlos: You're losing your touch, killer.

Julian: I was being sincere.

Carlos: Mm-hmm.

Julian: I don't want to kill her. I-I love Alexis. I want to take care of her. So just leave me alone. Go -- Go away. [Sighs]

Sam: I've been checking with the hotel in London like every hour. So far, no sign of Nikolas or Ava. They haven't gone back.

Jason: [Inhales deeply] Not surprising.

Sam: Spinelli's been working with me remotely. He was able to hack into the local car-rental service while I went to the bus station, and Nikolas did not rent a car or take a bus. And the town's too small for a train, so we can cross that off the list. And there is one car service like two towns away, and they said they didn't hear about him, either, so...

Jason: If he's on foot, I couldn't imagine that he would get very far. Unless... You don't think he'd steal a car, do you?

Sam: Nikolas? No. That's not his style. Then again, he is with Ava Jerome.

Nikolas: No sign of anyone. So if Huxley's still looking for us, he's looking for us in the wrong place.

Ava: Good. That's one less thing to worry about. [Clears throat] Um, Nikolas... can we talk about last night? I mean, what happened... between you and me? The last thing I remember is just swigging from this bottle here, and then the rest of it is just kind of a blur, so... what happened?

Nikolas: Nothing inappropriate. You spilled some of this rotgut liquor on your clothes. I gave you my shirt, and like the gentleman that I am, I stepped out when you put it on. But I can assure you, everything was very modest and appropriate.

Ava: [Chuckles] So, we just fell asleep.

Nikolas: [Chuckles] Well, to thank me for my heroics in saving your life with that crazy Scottish woman, you allowed me to share your tarp.

Ava: That was generous of me.

Nikolas: I wouldn't want to be.... kidnapped with anyone else. [Chuckles] Look, I really need to keep moving.

Ava: You have a plan?

Nikolas: Yeah. I need to get the hell out of England as soon as possible.

Ava: Well, before Huxley kidnapped us, you were planning on going to Amsterdam? Is that where you're planning to live out the rest of your years as a dead man?

Nikolas: No. The destination has changed.

Ava: W-Where you headed?

Monica: If you're here to see Dr. Delancey, why are you on the pediatric floor? Delancey's office is on 6.

Tracy: Is it? Oh. [Chuckles] I was misinformed. Why don't you show me exactly where I'm supposed to go?

Monica: Tracy, obviously, you don't want me to go into that room. Why?

Michael: [Stammers] Grandmother, why are you giving Tracy such a hard time? You're kind of overreacting here.

Monica: Because, Michael, she's lying to me, and so are you. Both of you are. Now, who is in there?

Tracy: Monica, come with me. I need to talk to you.

Monica: Let go! What are you doing?

Tracy: Wait.

Sabrina: Don't worry, Teddy. Mama's here. Dr. Finn and Uncle Felix are gonna take really good care of you, and you're gonna be feeling better in no time.

Michael: Hey. How's he doing?

Finn: Blood pressure's normal.

Felix: No fever, either.

Finn: His pulse is fine. Let me ask you, does Teddy normally drool this much?

Sabrina: Um, well, that started last night. I thought that maybe he'd be cutting his first tooth.

Finn: It's a little early, but he could be.

Sabrina: Do you think that maybe he could have caught something from all the traveling I've put him through?

Finn: What countries has he been to?

Sabrina: Well, he was born in Canada, and then, um, then we flew to the Grand Keys.

Finn: How long did you stay?

Sabrina: Five days.

Finn: Okay.

Sabrina: Um, and then, um...

Finn: What else?

Sabrina: We went to -- to London, and then -- and then we went to Brussels.

Finn: Good. How long were you in each city?

Sabrina: [Voice breaking] Um, London three days, and then Brussels another three days, and then we went to Puerto Rico, and we stayed there for about a month. And then I sent him here. God. God knows what I exposed Teddy to, because I chose to go on the run with Carlos.

Finn: Okay. Teddy's been in Port Charles how long?

Michael: Uh, May 17th.

Sabrina: God, please don't let Teddy pay for my horrible mistakes.

Michael: Sabrina, you're not being punished, okay? Neither is Teddy.

Sabrina: Michael, I can't lose him.

Finn: Sabrina, I need you to focus.

Sabrina: Okay.

Finn: Okay? All right, I need you to think, all right? I need you to tell me anything you observed over the last few days that would be out of the ordinary for Teddy.

Sabrina: Um... Well, I-I started to notice that he wasn't quite himself last night. He seemed... I-I don't know, tired.

Dr. Obrecht: Dr. Finn. Gott sei dank (Thank God) I got here before you could kill another patient.

Monica: Ow, ow! Tracy! You are so not frail, that is for sure. Just tell me what's going --

Valerie: Is everything okay, Dr. Quartermaine?

Tracy: [Clears throat]

Dr. Obrecht: Dr. Finn, step away from that child! What are you doing?!

Sabrina: Please, Dr. Obrecht, my baby needs treatment. There's something horribly wrong with him.

Michael: Dr. Finn saw Teddy at the house and said we had to come here immediately.

Dr. Obrecht: He's tricking you! You cannot listen to this man! Dr. Finn has been suspended under suspicion of killing several patients!

Michael: We don't care.

Felix: Dr. O, let Finn do his job. Please.

Dr. Obrecht: Stop this illegal activity at once!

Finn: No.

Dr. Obrecht: Security will arrest you.

Finn: Get her out of here.

Michael: Sorry about this.

Dr. Obrecht: Oh! Stop! What are you doing?! Let me go! Ow! Ah! Dr. Finn! You will regret this! Open this door immediately!

Finn: Have you started Teddy on solid foods yet?

Dr. Obrecht: You are committing a crime, Dr. Finn! [Pounds on door]

Alexis: Okay. [Sighs] You can do it. Just keep it together, Alexis. Just keep it together. [Sighs] All you have to do is just push "record" and get him to admit that he killed Carlos. [Sighs]

Julian: Get out of my head. Just --

Carlos: You're stuck with me, amigo. We're a team, just like when I was your right-hand man for all those years.

Julian: You worked for me. I used you against my enemies. A-Alexis is my wife.

Carlos: And Alexis is a bigger threat than any of your enemies ever were.

Julian: [Scoffs]

Carlos: Now, you -- you need to make her death look accidental. Poison, maybe. Antifreeze, drain opener, oven cleaner. I don't know. She's already sick. Just make her sicker.

Julian: How are you?

Alexis: I think I caught some sort of bug in that jail cell.

Julian: Oh, I'm sorry. That -- That sounds miserable. Do you, uh... would you like me to make you some tea? I'll make you some tea.

Alexis: Uh, yes. Please.

Julian: Okay. I'll, uh, I'll be right back.

Alexis: Oh, damn. The battery's dead.

Julian: What kind of tea would you like?

Alexis: [Gasps] Uh...

Julian: Oh, I got it.

Alexis: No, I got it.

Julian: I got it, I got it, I got it. Hey, you're lucky. No damage. I'll tell you what. I will bring this into the kitchen. I'll charge it up with the supercharger.

Alexis: It's okay, 'cause my charger's right over here.

Julian: No, Alexis, Alexis, I'll bring it right back. You know, you're a little jumpy, so how about we, uh, stay away from the caffeine? Would you like some, uh, chamomile tea?

Alexis: Fine.

Julian: Chamomile coming right up.

Carlos: Okay, now we're getting somewhere. What kind of poison you gonna put in the tea?

Julian: [Sighs]

Jason: So, I just talked to the bartender, and apparently, this town is smaller than we thought. Like, it's small. Everyone knows everyone. They know their business. And according to him, if somebody had stolen a car, the word would be out.

Sam: Okay, um, we checked every single barn and outbuilding last night. I-I don't know what else to do, then.

Jason: Well, I'm gonna head back out. The fog has finally lifted. You know, Ava and Nikolas might have been holed up somewhere, and now they want to get on the move again.

Sam: Too bad we can't just ask Huxley and his girlfriend for a sworn statement that they saw Nikolas alive.

Jason: Yeah, they don't exactly make the best witnesses. And besides, I don't think they want to help us out.

Sam: [Scoffs] They seemed pretty eager to help us last night.

Jason: Yeah, that's because all he cares about is that statue. And if we had found Ava, yeah, maybe he would have cooperated. Maybe, anyway. I don't think we're gonna see him again.

Sam: Okay. Okay, I'm -- I'm gonna check the Port Charles news. Maybe the police have caught on to Nikolas and the warrant for your arrest has been lifted.

Jason: Oh, yeah. That sounds a little too easy, but...

Sam: [Sighs] A girl can dream.

Nikolas: I'm not gonna tell you where I'm going. What if there's a reward for information about me? [Scoffs] You'd be the first person in line.

Ava: I haven't sold you out yet, have I?

Nikolas: Well, not that I know of. But the first thing you thought when you saw me was to wonder how it would benefit you.

Ava: Well... even if that were true, we've been through a lot together since then. I wouldn't have gotten away from Huxley without you.

Nikolas: Look... you don't need to concern yourself with me anymore. This is over for you. And now that we've escaped Huxley and all that insanity back there, you can go home and be with your daughters.

Ava: No. Actually, I can't.

Tracy: Oh, thank you, Officer. Um, my sister-in-law lost her balance. She has a problem with, um, her equilibrium, and I was just helping her.

Valerie: Is that true?

Monica: Mm? Oh, uh... [Chuckles] Yes. Tracy is an angel. She's always looking out for me. And, uh, and speaking of that, thank you for the extra security in this hospital in light of the unexplained deaths and the attack on Dr. Jones.

Valerie: I'm happy to be of service. Glad everything's okay.

Monica: Yes.

Tracy: Thank you.

Monica: Thanks. I am going to find out who is in that room and why Michael was there.

Tracy: Monica, wait.

Monica: You can't stop me from doing this.

Tracy: Monica! I will tell you who's in the room and why. Dr. Finn is... treating baby Edward.

Felix: [Sighs] Dr. O finally shut up.

Finn: Come on, Sabrina. You were telling me about Teddy's diet.

Sabrina: Um...[Clears throat] I-I've been introducing some solid foods. Avocado, oatmeal.

Michael: Uh, Cook 2, um, made him some -- some mashed sweet potatoes on Sunday.

Finn: Okay, okay. All those foods should have been good. Did anyone else besides the two of you feed him? Um, yes.

Sabrina: Uh, the nanny looked after him when I was looking for a job.

Finn: Please find everything that she fed him, and by that, I mean everything, Sabrina.

Michael: What -- What do you think it is?

Finn: I have an idea, but I don't want to say without confirmation.

Michael: Is Teddy gonna make it?

[Door opens]

Valerie: Dr. Finn, move away from the baby. You're under arrest.

Nikolas: Why can't you go back to Port Charles? Are you in some kind of trouble there?

Ava: Actually, the trouble started here... with Huxley Lynch, and I'm afraid if I go home... he'll find me.

Nikolas: Why? What does he want from you? The statue turned out to be fake. He has no reason to go after you, does he?

Ava: Mm, he seems extremely motivated to find that real Weeping Naiad.

Nikolas: Which you don't have, correct?

Ava: That's what I told him.

Nikolas: And you were lying. You have the original piece. You made a copy so that you could sell the forgery, so when Huxley kidnapped you, kidnapped us, it impeded you from committing fraud?

Ava: Oh! [Chuckles] That is such an unattractive word. No, I prefer to say that I was... dealing in a piece with... questionable provenance.

Nikolas: And so the real Weeping Naiad is...?

Ava: In a safe place.

Nikolas: You had me completely snowed.

Ava: Don't feel bad.

Nikolas: We could have been killed. Risk your own life, but don't risk mine.

Ava: You have no right to criticize. You're pretending to be dead knowing full well that Jason Morgan is being blamed for your murder.

Jason: Okay, I'm heading out. Uh, if I can't find them, then we have to assume that we missed them, so do me a favor. Call Spinelli. If Nikolas is heading to Amsterdam, then maybe he can trace him.

Sam: Oh, my...God.

Jason: What?

Sam: My mother has been arrested.

Jason: What? For what?

Sam: For killing Carlos Rivera.

Carlos: Did you add the secret ingredient to Alexis' tea, something toxic?

Julian: [Sighs] Here you go. This should help settle your stomach. I brought you some crackers, too.

Alexis: Thank you.

Julian: [Sighs] You know, I've missed you. I really hate what's happened to us.

Alexis: Yeah, I don't like it, either. [Gasps] Oh, it's hot.

Julian: So, um, so what's going on with your case? You know, I-I was thinking about it, and I wasn't there when you were arrested, but maybe the police mishandled something? Is there any way you and Diane can get the arrest null and void based on that?

Alexis: They found nothing procedurally improper.

Julian: Okay, so, uh, so what's Diane's strategy? I mean, any way she can, uh, she can get an acquittal?

Alexis: The DA is very confident with their forensic evidence. They have Exhibit "A," Helena's dagger, with Carlos' DNA and my fingerprints on it. They have motive. Carlos was gonna testify against you; and, of course, they will cite my conflict of interest when I represented Carlos. So they have forensic evidence, they have motive, they have everything. And even Diane isn't confident that she can get an acquittal. [Sighs]

Julian: Whoa, whoa, whoa. You all right? Do -- Do you need something? I'll get it for you. What do you need?

Alexis: No, I... I just need my phone.

Carlos: The suspense is killing me. What'd you put in her tea?

Julian: Nothing! Hey, I can't do this. I won't do it.

Carlos: Come on, Julian. Face it. It's her life or yours.

Julian: [Sighs]

Alexis: All charged.

Julian: You know, I can't, uh, I can't stand knowing that I've lost you.

Alexis: You lost me when you murdered Carlos.

Julian: I-I-I thought that, you know, Carlos' death could mean that we could go on to living as we were in this home, you know, with our family, holding on to everything that we -- we cherish, especially each other. I mean, I-I-I had no idea this would tear us apart, Alexis. It doesn't have to.

Alexis: What kind of future are we gonna have if I'm in prison? [Sighs]

Julian: Okay, look... You're -- You're a really good lawyer, and if you say this -- this case against you is strong, then I believe you. But there's got to be some sort of reasonable doubt.

Alexis: No, no, there isn't. They've got the dagger, and I have no alibi. Julian, if you let me take the rap for this, you're not gonna only lose me, you're gonna lose your children. They will turn on you. I promise you. You will be dead to them, to Lucas and to Sam.

Sam: My mother has been arrested? Why didn't Molly or Kristina call me?

Jason: I don't know, but I'm sure that they've got a good reason.

Sam: My mom is being charged with Carlos' murder. There's no way that she killed him.

Jason: You're right. I mean, your mother's not a killer, and I don't think she's physically capable of killing him. Carlos was stabbed to death.

Sam: Okay, so what are you saying? That my father is? It's okay. You -- You can say it, because I'm -- I'm thinking the same thing.

Jason: Well, maybe Julian needed to shut Carlos up 'cause Carlos could have flipped on him for Duke's murder.

Sam: Okay, I believe that he would do that, but I can't believe that my father would allow my mother to take the fall for him.

Jason: I'm sorry.

Sam: Yeah, me, too. He's probably telling himself that she's got a better chance of being found not guilty. Do -- Do you think she knows about this? Do you think she's covering for him?

Jason: I don't know. I mean, she's looking at a life sentence. Do you think she'd do that to you and your sisters?

Sam: I don't -- I don't know, Jason. I don't know. He -- He has got her so twisted up that she has either decided that she would do anything to protect him or he's framed her. I have -- I have no idea, but either way, I have got to get back.

Jason: Okay, I'll go with you.

Sam: No, you can't.

Jason: Hey.

Sam: Come on, the last thing I need is for my mother and you to both be locked up. I would lose my mind. Please just stay here.

Jason: S-Sam.

Sam: I know -- I know the police are gonna ask me about you and Nikolas when I get back, but they're not gonna know for sure that I was with you. Please, Jason, just stay here. Nikolas cannot ruin our lives.

Nikolas: Oh, yeah, I'm sure you're real concerned about Jason. Would it make you feel any better if I told you that I was actually trying to frame Hayden for my death and that Jason just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time?

Ava: You don't care what happens to an innocent man?

Nikolas: Jason hasn't been innocent since he's been Sonny's enforcer. And he's got the best lawyer in the state, maybe one of the best in the country. And she has successfully defended him in plenty of cases, plenty of crimes that he actually committed. She'll get him acquitted on this, too.

Ava: You're just gonna leave, then? Never come back?

Nikolas: I will call for Spencer when I can. But yes. A couple hours, I'll be on a charter jet.

Ava: You -- You have a plan already?

Nikolas: You passed out last night, and I made the arrangements.

Ava: You know, Huxley was on that plane with us from Port Charles. I'm sure he knows where I live. I'm sure he knows everything about me. He's gonna come after me. I-I can't afford any more trouble at home.

Nikolas: Give Lynch the real statue.

Ava: I can't do that.

Nikolas: Why not?

Ava: I-I ha-have my reasons. They're good ones.

Nikolas: Look, it's your choice. But if you don't go home, where are you gonna go?

Ava: With you.

Tracy: Dr. Finn insisted we bring the baby here. I don't know what's wrong with him, but he was extremely concerned.

Monica: Oh, no.

Tracy: Monica, I know you're on the warpath with Dr. Finn, but I trust him to care for Daddy's namesake like no other doctor. Can't you just turn your back on this?

Monica: I can't.

Tracy: [Sighs]

Valerie: Dr. Finn, move away from that child now.

Finn: Felix, I'm gonna need you to increase Teddy's oxygen concentration if his breathing degrades more.

Valerie: Dr. Finn --

Michael: Okay, Valerie, Valerie, just -- just don't this. Let him treat Teddy.

Valerie: He's been suspended. Dr. Obrecht called 911.

Dr. Obrecht: [Pounds on door] Um Gottes willen! (For God's sake!) Let me out of here!

Valerie: What in the --

Sabrina: Oh, okay. Yes. That must be it. Okay. Um, Dr. Finn, the nanny gave Teddy a taste of her -- her yogurt two days ago at lunch. She thinks it may have contained honey.

Finn: Honey. Uh, Felix, I'm gonna need 650 milligrams of BIG-IV while I set up another IV.

Felix: On it.

Sabrina: What do you think is wrong with him?

Finn: It's infant botulism.

Sabrina: Oh, my God.

Dr. Obrecht: I want Dr. Finn arrested!

Michael: He did nothing to you.

Dr. Obrecht: He's treating that child in violation of the law!

Valerie: Step away from the baby now. If you don't comply, I will restrain you.

Finn: You're gonna have to.

Sabrina: No, no, please. Please. My son needs treatment, and Dr. Finn can do it. He has to -- He has to treat him. Please. Don't let my baby die.

Tracy: You're gonna stop Dr. Finn from treating that baby?

Monica: I didn't say that, Tracy. I said I couldn't turn my back on what's happening. That baby's health is much more important than rules and regulations.

Tracy: At last, the real Monica Quartermaine has finally spoken out. I was hoping you were gonna come to your senses.

Monica: Well, I'm gonna go with you to see that Edward's all right.

Tracy: Thank you. Let's hope he is.

Monica: Yeah.

Dr. Obrecht: Sabrina is hysterical, not thinking straight. I tell you that Dr. Finn is more likely to kill that child than he is to save him.

[Door opens]

Felix: Got it.

Finn: Good.

Dr. Obrecht: It will have to wait until a trustworthy doctor can examine the baby, right, Officer?

Michael: Please, Teddy needs treatment now.

Sabrina: If we wait, it could be too late.

Valerie: What needs to happen to save this child's life?

Finn: I need to start an IV of botulism immune globulin. It will save this little boy's life, but we need to act fast. The toxin's already been in his system for 48 hours. If I can start treatment now, he'll most certainly make a full recovery. Then you can arrest me.

Dr. Obrecht: If Dr. Finn's diagnosis is wrong, this treatment could put the child at greater risk! Certainly you aren't considering this madman's proposal!

Valerie: Do what you need to do.

Dr. Obrecht: He is committing a crime!

Valerie: Dr. Obrecht.

Dr. Obrecht: You cannot allow this!

Valerie: Please follow me.

Dr. Obrecht: I will do no such thing!

Valerie: Let the doctor work in peace.

Dr. Obrecht: If you allow this, you are making yourself complicit in Dr. Finn's crime.

Michael: Get out or I'll move you myself.

Valerie: If you don't want a citation for disobeying a police officer, you'll leave right now.

Michael: Thank you.

Valerie: I hope the baby's okay.

Sabrina: Is my son gonna be okay?

Finn: Yes.

Sabrina: [Chuckles]

Alexis: Have you thought about your children at all? Because Sam and Lucas will never believe that I killed Carlos. They will know the truth, and they will cut you out of their lives, and Sam will never let you see Danny ever. Olivia will keep Leo from you. You don't care if you lose your children at all, do you, as long as it keeps you out of prison?

Julian: What? How can you say that? You know how much I love them.

Alexis: This day is so hideous. I can't take one more second of it. I want to be alone. I'm taking a bath. [Sighs]

Carlos: Oh, this really is your lucky day. A slip in the tub is so much better than poison.

Julian: I am not poisoning her!

Carlos: Oh, good. Good, because... with your help, Alexis could slip, bang her head, lose consciousness, and drown.

Julian: Okay, no, no, no. I can't do that to her! I'm not gonna do that! No, not like that. [Daydreams about joining Alexis in the tub.]

Carlos: Of course, you can. [Laughs] You didn't blink when you murdered me.

Julian: [Sighs]

Carlos: All those years of me being loyal to you, and you looked me right in the eye as you plunged that dagger right into me.

Julian: Because I didn't want to lose what I had with Alexis. I wanted to be her husband, to continue with the life that we had, everything that we've made, our happiness together.

Carlos: Yeah. And look how far you two have fallen. Alexis was recording you, you know, trying to get a confession out of you. She is not the woman you used to love.

Julian: Oh, no, no, no. She is the same woman, okay? I drove her to this. With time... I'm gonna get her back.

Carlos: Okay. Yeah, yeah, don't kill her. Take your chances, see how that goes. Oh, but don't kid yourself. You've already lost Alexis. Your fantasy of a happy married life is gone. You'll lose your children, too. You'll probably end up rotting in prison. Who does that help? [Scoffs] Oh, it'd be so easy just to cause a little accident up in the tub.

Nikolas: I need to disappear alone. I can't have Huxley on my tail because he's looking for you.

Ava: Are you sure you want me to go back to Port Charles?

Nikolas: Look, I'm sorry you don't feel safe there, but you could solve all of this by giving him the real statue.

Ava: Traveling with you is a much more attractive option.

Nikolas: You almost got us killed. You're not my problem anymore.

Ava: Oh, but I am. Because I know too much. If I go back to Port Charles, I might find myself inadvertently telling someone that you're not so dead after all.

Nikolas: You're blackmailing me?

Ava: So what's it gonna be? Are you gonna take me with you or risk me telling the wrong person that you are very much alive?

Sam: Here. Keep this. This way, you can keep track of what Spinelli and I have already investigated.

Jason: Thanks.

Sam: Look, I-I wish there was some other way.

Jason: Hey, your mom needs you. I can take care of this.

Sam: Okay.

Jason: Okay. Be careful, okay?

Sam: It's not gonna do either of us any good if you kill Nikolas.

Jason: Hey, I'm not gonna kill anyone.

Sam: I know, it's just that we haven't really discussed what was gonna happen after you found him. How are you gonna get him back to Port Charles?

Jason: Well, easy. I'll call the cops. I'm serious.

Sam: No.

Jason: Yes. I mean, when they arrive, I'm sure I'll be arrested as a fugitive, and I'll probably spend a few not-so-fun weeks behind bars while they get everything processed, but in the end... I'll come home to you.

Sam: Okay, that sounds reasonable. I've -- I've never actually heard you talk about calling the cops before.

Jason: Yeah, well, first time for everything. You need to get going.

Sam: Okay.

Jason: I love you.

Sam: I love you. [Sighs]

Jason: [Sighs]

Alexis: [Sighs] [Gasps as Julian holds her head under water]

Finn: Teddy's gonna have to spend a few weeks in the hospital to go through a series of tests and regain his strength, but I think we caught the botulism in time.

Sabrina: [Chuckles]

Michael: Thanks to you.

Tracy: You figured it out? He's gonna be all right?

Finn: It would seem so. The, uh, the early effects of infant botulism are pretty difficult to detect. I'm just glad I stopped by for coffee today.

Sabrina: [Chuckles] So am I. God bless you.

Finn: It's my pleasure. And hey, thank you for the assist. I couldn't have done it without you. This was all my doing. I'm to blame. There shouldn't be any consequences for Felix.

Felix: There shouldn't be any for you, either! It's not right.

Tracy: W-What are you talking about?

Sabrina: It isn't fair. Dr. Finn saved Teddy's life. And I will always be grateful.

Michael: I don't know how to thank you.

Finn: Just take care of that kid. He's a really good baby.

Tracy: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Where are you going?

Finn: To jail.

[Monitor beeping]

Dr. Obrecht: Hurry, Officer, before he gets away!

Finn: Thank you for letting me do my job. Now you can do yours.

Valerie: Dr. Hamilton Finn, you are under arrest for trespassing and the unauthorized treatment of a patient. You have the right to remain silent. You have the right to an attorney. If you can't afford an attorney, one will be appointed to you.

Julian: [Considers drowning Alexis]

Carlos: One little slip in the bath water. No one will ever know. You'll grieve for a while. But then you'll be free. You'll have your children -- Sam, Lucas, little Leo. You'll have your life.

Julian: [Goes up the stairs]

[Cell phone rings]

Sam: "Safe flight. Text me when you land." [Sighs]

Jason: Hello? Oh. Somebody was having a little party. [Sniffs] Mm. Not good. [Finds a gold earring]

[Cell phone chimes]

Alexis: [Sighs] [Gets a text from Sam that she's on her way home and answers that she doesn't have to do that.] [Sighs]

Julian: [Enters the bathroom and stands behind Alexis relaxing in the tub.]

Aaron (to Kristina): Can I ask you a question? Who's Parker?

Lulu (to Dante): Do you think that Nikolas is still alive?

Nikolas (to Ava): I'm going to Greece without you.

Man with Gun (to Jason): You're not going anywhere.

Sonny: [Rings Alexis' doorbell as Julian contemplates killing Alexis in the tub] Julian knows he's only safe if he kills you.
