Elizabeth: Are you and Sam still getting a divorce?
Jason: Yes.
Spinelli: This could change everything for Samantha. The autopsy and the tissue-donation report both confirm that the deceased baby's blood was AB-negative. However, it is impossible for a baby sired by Samantha and Franco to have anything but "O" -- O-type blood, so that means that the baby that Sam buried was not, in fact, her own. The question remains --
[Elevator bell dings]
Spinelli: -- How is that possible?
Téa: Hi, Susan, come on in.
Heather: Hello, there, little one.
Steve: This is Dr. Steven Webber calling again. I'm trying to reach a patient -- my mother, Heather Webber.
Heather: Hey, there. You remember me. I was there the night you were born.
Téa: [Chuckles] And we're both so grateful to you, aren't we, querido? Susan, thank you so much for coming. I, um -- I wanted to talk to you about your application to be Victor's nanny.
Heather: I'd be happy to answer any questions you have.
Téa: Good. Because I checked on all your references --
Heather: Oh.
Téa: -- And I do have one major concern.
Kate: Your father gave that to you?
Trey: Yeah, he's got one just like it. Why?
Kate: [Gasps] Oh. [Shuddered breathing] Aah!
Trey: What -- what are you doing?!
Kate: J.M.S.! J.M.S. Joseph Mitchell Scully.
Trey: W-what are you talking about? Who's this person with these initials?
Kate: That's what this stands for! Doesn't it?! Joseph Mitchell Scully.
Tracy: J.M.S. You gonna tell me what it stands for, or is your name a secret?
Alexis: Sorry. I got distracted with Sam. But don't tell anyone. I think there is a chance that she and Jason might get back together.
Kristina: She didn't sign the divorce papers?
Alexis: No.
Kristina: Oh, God, that's so amazing.
Sonny: Don't get any ideas. End this marriage with Trey or he's a dead man.
Kristina: Dad, it's fine. No need to make threats.
Alexis: Dad, she's right. No threats.
Sonny: Mm.
Alexis: Trey is manipulative. He's not dangerous.
Sonny: Then get him out of Kristina's life before he goes any deeper into our lives.
Trey: Oh, whoa, whoa. You are way off.
Kate: No, you get back here! You told me your father has one just like it. I've seen this dangling from that pig's neck! Your father is Joseph Scully Jr.
Jason: [Breathes deeply] I'm sorry.
Elizabeth: What? What's wrong?
Jason: I can't do this to you.
Spinelli: Why is it always assumed that the person that drops the papers is at fault for an inadvertent collision when it does, in fact, take two to tango?!
Todd: It's your fault, spicoli, because that was your fault.
Spinelli: Apologies. But I am on a mission of paramount importance, and I need to convey this crucial information posthaste. Could you please move your foot? And perhaps your other foot, as well? Mm!
Todd: [Chuckles] Tell me something -- what kind of a mission involves confidential hospital files?
Spinelli: A confidential client.
Todd: Anything I can use? Anything that would make the front page of the sun?
Spinelli: The story is still, as they say, percolating.
Todd: Oh. Well, let me know if it turns into anything.
[Elevator bell dings]
Todd: I'd pay you good money for a good story.
Steve: I want to hear back from my mother within the hour.
Todd: You and Heather, together again?
Steve: What's it to you?
Todd: I just thought you two called it quits.
Steve: Yeah, well, she reached out to me during the pathogen scare, and I was pretty harsh with her.
Todd: Can't say I blame you.
Steve: She's a sick woman expressing concern for her only child, and I just want her to know I'm okay.
Todd: Any contact that you have with her she'll take as an invitation to just come right back into your life. I -- if I were you, I would just make a clean break. Aren't we all better off with that psychopath in a padded cell?
Heather: Did one of my references speak ill of me?
Téa: Oh, absolutely not. Please, sit down. Your references are impeccable.
Heather: Good. Because I take my job very seriously.
Téa: There's just one thing, Susan.
Heather: What's that?
Téa: Why would you want to work for me? For us? I mean, the salary I'm offering is okay, but you could earn a mint working for the underhills.
Heather: Well, that's very flattering, but actually I'm just happy to have a job during these difficult times. And besides, I'd work for peanuts just to be close to this sweet little boy.
Téa: [Chuckles]
Joe Jr.: No, my name's not a secret.
Tracy: So why won't you tell me? I know!
Joe Jr.: You do?
Tracy: You're embarrassed.
Joe Jr.: Well, I wouldn't exactly say that, but it does come with some baggage.
Tracy: Oh, please. The Quartermaine name needs an entire army of porters to lug it around, not to mention the embarrassment of my middle name.
Joe Jr.: Ha! Which is?
Tracy: [Chuckles] Angelica.
Joe Jr.: [Chuckles] What's not to like?
Tracy: Oh, please. It's false advertising. There is absolutely nothing angelic about me. Your turn.
[Cell phone rings]
Tracy: Oh, wait. Hold on. Oh, this is important. Sorry. It's a financial matter. Don't move. I have been waiting for your call. Did you find it? What? No, no, no! This is completely unacceptable.
Alexis: Why don't you give us a little space and let the lawyer do the lawyering.
Sonny: Okay, I'm not going anywhere till I see your signature on the annulment papers. What?
Kristina: Can you please get him to calm down a little bit?
Alexis: That is calm. You and your husband should be grateful that he's only freaking out and not mixing cement.
Sonny: I got to put out some fires. You know the $88 million, right?
Alexis: Yeah.
Sonny: Disappeared.
Alexis: Do you want me to handle it?
Sonny: No, I'm gonna have Bernie on it. Just straighten this out, and I'll talk to whoever I need to talk to. Oh, my -- I can't believe that happened just now.
Alexis: Have fun with Todd Manning.
Sonny: Well, I'm gonna go see Tracy first. I mean, the Quartermaines may be crazy, but, you know, they're not psycho. Bye, sweetie.
Kristina: Bye, dad.
Alexis: Bye, sweetie.
Tracy: Whatever lowlife swindler did this, heads are gonna roll.
Joe Jr.: Whoa, whoa. What happened?
Tracy: The money? You know the $18 million that I gave to jerry Jacks for his antiserum? We've been trying to get it back. But now the bank says it's all missing. How does a Swiss bank lose millions?!
Joe Jr.: You don't think that jerry's still alive.
Tracy: No, I do not. The boat exploded. Jax barely made it. His brother had to have been killed.
Joe Jr.: The money could still turn up. You know, somebody probably punched in the wrong numbers, used the wrong routing code.
Tracy: Or one of his cronies made off with it. He obviously was not working alone. What kind of scum was working with him?!
Trey: My name is not Scully. It's Mitchell.
Kate: It's Joe Jr.'s middle name. So are you Trey Mitchell, or did you just make that up to hide who you really are?
Trey: Okay. You know what? Fine. Yeah, "Trey Mitchell"? It's my professional name. My given name is Joseph Mitchell Scully iii. So, yeah, my father is Joe Scully Jr. What are you gonna do? Go tell Sonny? It's not like it's gonna matter. We're still gonna get what we're owed.
Kate: What are you owed? What are you owed?!
Trey: Take a look around, huh? This -- this house -- the money, the business -- all of that belongs to my father by birthright. Sonny stole it.
Kate: Is that what your dad told you?
Trey: Mm-hmm, yeah. My dad told me, all right. Yeah, he told me all about how Sonny killed my grandfather and stole my dad's inheritance.
Kate: Your father's not a victim! He's a monster and a rapist!
Trey: He raised me by himself when my mother walked out on us. He had no help, no family support, nothing.
Kate: Your mother walked out on you? Where'd she go?
Trey: How should I know?
Kate: What's her name? Trey -- who's your mother?
Todd: Trust me. I know what it's like to deal with a mentally unstable relative. The best thing you can do is make sure that they're safely locked up. Just leave them out of your life.
Steve: Thank you for the unsolicited advice, but I'll deal with Heather as I see fit.
Todd: All right, it's your funeral. But you got to take everything she says with a grain of salt. Trust me -- she's completely looney tunes. I mean, when she was at the sun, every day was a new conspiracy theory an Elvis sighting. You should -- you should hear the things she tried to get me to say, the things she tried to get me to do.
Steve: Such as?
Téa: Welcome aboard. And thank you so much, Susan. I am in dire need of help.
Heather: Well, I've been looking for a way to fill my days. This works out perfectly for me.
[Cell phone rings]
Téa: Ooh. Do you mind?
Heather: Oh, no, of course not.
Téa: Okay. Just a minute.
Heather: Hello, baby.
Téa: Oh. Uh, bill, hang on for one -- just one second. Susan, is there any chance you could start today?
Heather: I can start right now.
Téa: Oh. Then I leave Victor in your capable hands. I have a good feeling about this.
Heather: Me too.
Téa: And when it works out, you can add me to your list of glowing references, okay? Okay. Mwah! Oh. Bill, I'm sorry to keep you on hold.
Heather: Okay, sweetie pie. Hey, little one, can you keep a secret? You know those references over there? They're fake. Right? All fakes. But they're air-tight. How? Hey, kiddo, after DNA tampering and kidnapping, a couple of murders -- that seems like child's play.
Jason: Elizabeth, I'm sorry.
Elizabeth: No, I'm sorry.
Jason: No, Elizabeth, please, just --
Elizabeth: Is it my imagination, or did you not just kiss me back right now?
Jason: I did -- I did.
Elizabeth: Then what's happening?
Jason: Elizabeth, I care about you. I always have. I should never have kissed you on the bridge that night. It's not fair.
Elizabeth: Not fair to who? Sam? 'Cause she was with McBain that night.
Jason: No, it's not fair to you. It's not fair to start this whole thing again -- and remember how we feel about each other -- -- when it can't go anywhere.
Elizabeth: But you're getting a divorce, right? We're free at the same time. And we can finally figure out what's going on between us. Isn't that something you want?
Alexis: Okey-dokey. Let's get you and Trey that annulment. Please tell me you got a prenup.
Kristina: Trey doesn't want my money.
Alexis: So no prenup.
Kristina: Is there something you want to say? 'Cause you can say it. We're both adults.
Alexis: Are we? Because most adults I know aren't living with their parents. They're renting an apartment, they're buying their own groceries and their own gas, and they're not getting married to drive ratings.
Kristina: Do you want me to move out?
Alexis: No. I want you to grow up. Honey, there's nothing that I want more than to have an adult relationship with you, but you're gonna have to display a little more sense and maturity.
Kristina: So now I'm stupid and immature.
Alexis: No. You're petulant. There's a difference. Oh, boy. Kristina, you are also beautiful and intelligent and wonderful, and I love you so much. But you have to stop making decisions that are irresponsible, so just snap out of it, okay?
Kristina: Believe it or not, I married Trey to help him. I felt it was the right thing to do, and it was always with the understanding that we'd get it annulled.
Alexis: Okay. Let's make you single again.
Sam: Ooh. Get in line.
Tracy: $18 million gone.
Joe Jr.: It could still turn up, and by then, you'll have earned that back 10 times over. $18 million might not be chump change for us common folk, but a woman like you must earn that back, you know -- by lunch. Hmm?
Tracy: By breakfast, actually.
Joe Jr.: Ah. So why worry?
Tracy: You're right. Thank you for the perspective. Could have been a lot worse. We did lose cook. We almost lost daddy. But you and I survived.
Joe Jr.: And, hey, it's only money, right?
Tracy: Money that I will make back like [Fingers click]
Joe Jr.: Or your name isn't Tracy angelica Quartermaine.
Tracy: And yours isn't Joseph --
Sonny: Scully?
Trey: Told you I never knew my mother.
Kate: He must have told you something. Did he talk about her? Show you a picture? Tell you her name?
Trey: Why would he, hmm? She left us, walked out on us, walked out on me! She never called. She never sent a birthday card. Nothing. So you tell me -- why would I give a damn about a piece of Brooklyn trash like that?
Kate: Is your mother from Brooklyn?
Trey: Yeah. So?
Kate: How old are you?
Trey: What do you care?
Kate: How old are you?
Trey: 25.
Kate: [Gasps]
Trey: And? What? [Shuddered breathing] This can't be happening. What? W-w-what do you mean? What can't be happening?
Kate: [Gasps] [Groans] I think I'm your mother.
Alexis: I didn't expect you back so soon.
Sam: Yeah, neither did I.
Alexis: I take it things didn't go well with Jason?
Kristina: Mom made it sound like you two were reconciling. What happened?
Sam: I went to Jason's, and I was ready to tell him that I was having second thoughts about the divorce, and -- I wasn't able to get a word out.
Alexis: Why not?
Kristina: What was so pressing you couldn't bust in and save your own marriage?
Sam: His tongue in Elizabeth's mouth.
Jason: I'm not free. Neither are you.
Elizabeth: You're gonna have to explain that.
Jason: My life hasn't changed. It hasn't changed. It's still violent. It's nothing you and your kids should ever be around.
Elizabeth: And you think Sam can handle that but I can't?
Jason: Sam-- Sam was raped because of me. Her baby died because of me.
Elizabeth: No, her baby died because his lungs weren't fully developed, Jason.
Jason: No, but I'm the reason that Sam gave birth in that hotel room. I'm the one who stopped McBain from getting Sam help. I'm the one who put everything in motion. And I still don't know how it ended.
Elizabeth: What do you mean? [Breathes deeply] I don't think the baby who died was Sam's.
Heather: Say night-night, mommy.
Téa: Buenas noches, mi amor.
Heather: [Chuckles] I got it.
Téa: You got it?
Heather: He's got it. [Both laugh] [Sighs] And soon, you'll be saying "night-night, mommy" to me.
[Elevator bell dings]
Steve: What did Heather want you to do?
Todd: You name it -- pay for her defense, falsify evidence, perjure myself.
[Cell phone rings]
Todd: Oh. [Breathes deeply] Hey, Delgado. What's up?
Téa: Uh, I thought you might want an update on my son, especially given the role you played in his birth.
Todd: Yeah, I don't know. You heard one poop story, you heard them all.
Téa: So you don't want to hear who I hired as a nanny?
Todd: Mrs. Doubtfire?
Téa: Someone you know.
Todd: Fran Drescher?
Téa: Why are you making me regret this call?
Todd: Okay. I'll bite. Who's your new nanny?
Jason: Spinelli's following up on the autopsy report. I want to make sure that the blood type isn't a mistake. If it isn't -- Sam's baby could still be alive.
Elizabeth: And you're hoping that you're gonna be able to give her back her son.
Jason: Yes.
Elizabeth: I don't think that's possible, Jason.
Jason: Either way, I have to know. And either way -- I can't -- I can't be with you.
Elizabeth: "Can't" and "won't" are two very different things. Right now, you're making a choice.
Jason: You're right. I'm choosing not to hurt you.
Elizabeth: And you don't think this hurts?
Jason: I know it does. I know it does. I can see what I'm doing to you right now, and I hate it. You mean so much to me.
Elizabeth: Just not the way I was hoping.
Jason: We had a son that I can never claim when he was alive.
Elizabeth: But we decided that together.
Jason: Right. We both wanted to keep him safe. And to go back on that now and expose you and the kids to -- it makes it all for nothing. I was never -- I was never a father to Jake. I was never -- anything to him. But I can honor him -- by protecting his mother and his brothers.
Elizabeth: Protecting us from you.
Jason: Yes.
Elizabeth: What if you're wrong, Jason? What if the lesson we're supposed to learn is that we keep coming back into each other's lives for a reason?
[Door opens]
Spinelli: Jason, I have answers.
Sonny: You make a habit out of walking into people's homes uninvited?
Tracy: No, it's all right. Since cook died, Alice is less reliable than usual. You're probably here about the money.
Sonny: Yeah, the $18 million we gave to jerry Jacks.
Tracy: Yeah, well, it is a terrible loss, but Joseph gave me a better perspective about it.
Sonny: "Joseph"? Last person who called him that was his father.
Tracy: Do you know each other? Oh, you said a name when you walked in.
Sonny: So you haven't told her who you are? Oh, uh, Tracy, let me introduce you to Joe Jr., The son of Joe Scully.
Tracy: Who?
Sonny: If you ask Luke, he'll tell you how his father tried to muscle his way into Port Charles. Joe Jr. Here, he's a made man, just like his dad.
Tracy: That's not possible.
Sonny: Hate to break it to you, Tracy, but you traded one gangster in for another.
Trey: There is no way you are my mother.
Kate: It sort of makes sense, in a twisted sort of way.
Trey: Yeah, right. I grew up my entire life not knowing anything about my mother, and then suddenly, here she is, marrying the man that ruined my father's life?
Kate: This is no coincidence, Trey. We all knew each other from Brooklyn. Your father hated Sonny, and he wanted to hurt him, so he came after me. Your father raped me! Did you hear me?! He raped me, Trey! Pinned me down -- he held me down.
Trey: No, y-you're lying. You're lying! Everything you're saying is a lie. My mother walked out on us.
Kate: I didn't walk out. I escaped. I escaped from Brooklyn, from Joe, from what he did to me! But no matter how far I got away from him, I could still smell the booze on his breath. I could see this medal dangling from his neck. What he did to me -- and when I found out I was pregnant -- I just wanted to disappear.
Trey: I-I should go.
Kate: But I didn't disappear. I -- I gave birth to a baby boy. And every time I looked at him, I saw Joe. So I left him. I thought he died. But he didn't die. He lived. He's you. You're my son.
Trey: No, you are not my mother! Everything you're saying is a lie! I know my father, and I know that you and Sonny would do anything and everything that you could to get me out of Kristina's life! But this? This is sick. You are sick. I don't want anything to do with you. I don't give a damn who you are.
Connie: Hey! You can't hide from your past, kid. I ought to know. So my bastard son lives.
Trey: I'm not your son, Kate.
Connie: Connie. Call me Connie. That was my name when your father crawled on top of me, pinned me down, and had his way with me. That son of a bitch saddled me with a little worm like you.
Trey: You know what? I don't have to stand here and listen to any of this.
Connie: Then why don't you sit down, huh? Why don't you let me tell you the whole story? I mean, you're lucky you get to hear it in the first place, right?
Trey: What is that supposed to mean?
Connie: Well, I don't know. It means you're lucky to be alive, 'cause if it weren't for catholic guilt and Father O'Brien's sermonizing, you would never have made it out of my womb. Hello? Do I need to spell it out for you? I wanted to abort you!
Joe Jr.: Exactly one thing that Sonny said was true -- I am Joe scully's son.
Tracy: I'm familiar with the name. Although I believe he was dead by the time I had my -- unfortunate brush with organized crime.
Joe Jr.: No, my father was a gangster, but I'm not him. I'm not in the mob.
Sonny: Not for lack of trying.
Joe Jr.: Why don't you butt out? I'm just sorry that I didn't tell you sooner. The name Scully tends to precede me, but I was hoping that, you know, we'd get to know each other first before you --
Sonny: Get to know -- what -- [Stammering] "Get to know each other"?
Tracy: Sonny, you and I both know you can't pick your parents. And if you're gonna judge this man based on what his father did, then we're gonna have to judge you based on what your father did.
Sonny: Tracy, don't defend him to me. You don't know who he is.
Tracy: I know that he's my friend.
Sonny: No, he's a murderer and a rapist!
Todd: Who is this mystery nanny with whom I am so well acquainted?
Téa: Susan Moore.
Todd: Who?
Téa: Susan Moore.
Todd: Don't know anybody named Susan Moore.
Téa: Yes, you do, Todd. Think -- she's the woman who -- what are you doing?!
Todd: Delgado? Delgado, you okay? Téa?
Sam: It's almost funny. I go to Jason's to talk about how we can move forward, and he's already moving forward with Elizabeth.
Kristina: And you just left?
Sam: What was I supposed to do, join in?
Alexis: Oh. All right, look. You've misinterpreted moments between them before. Do you think it's possible there was some other explanation?
Sam: No, mom. She was throwing him a private birthday party.
Alexis: All right, even still, you need to talk to Jason. You cannot retreat with all this hurt.
Sam: I have no right to be hurt, actually. I mean, I'm the one who told Jason to move forward, and he has. I'm not even angry at him. I'm angry at myself for trying to convince myself that we could work things out. But clearly, he's already -- gotten past it. Now so should I.
Spinelli: Perhaps next time I'll call ahead.
Elizabeth: It's okay. I know this is important.
Jason: [Sighs] Elizabeth --
Elizabeth: No, it's all right. I -- you need your answers -- and I need some time to think.
Spinelli: Clearly, this was an inopportune time. If you need some -- time to yourself, I totally --
Jason: What'd you find out?
Spinelli: Well, I went to the hospital pathology lab, where my investigation was assisted by a fascinating but demure, dedicated but --
Jason: Spinelli, what did you find out?
Spinelli: Anyway, I was assisted by a lab tech who provided the report on the tissue sample from the baby. It's confirmed. The baby's blood type is AB-negative.
Jason: And Sam and Franco were O-positive.
Spinelli: Right. So the autopsy was correct. The baby that we buried wasn't Sam's.
Trey: So you're admitting that you abandoned your own son.
Connie: You really rolled snake eyes in the genes department, didn't you. You got your father's looks and his brains. Keep it up. I did get rid of you.
Trey: By sticking me in a drawer?
Connie: Be lucky. I would have put you in a dumpster, all right? That was plan "B." Plan "a" was not to have you at all. What? What? You seem surprised. Sorry! Nobody wants to hear they were gonna be aborted, but in my defense, nobody wants to get raped, either.
Trey: So then why d -- why didn't you just do it?
Connie: Oh, well, you know, catholic guilt. Good ol' catholic girl should never have an abortion or they'll spend an eternity in hell. But at the time, you know what? I was in my own personal hell. So I don't know what one more sin would have really made a difference.
Trey: A-and your family? They didn't want to help?
Connie: My family -- pbht! My family -- I was the good one in the family, you know? I wasn't supposed to get knocked up. But I did. Oh, and what was I gonna do? Your father would have denied it anyway, and Sonny would have killed him, which actually would have made things a little bit easier, now that I see it.
Trey: So then what did you do?
Connie: What do you think I did? I hid, I pushed you put, and I got the hell out of dodge.
Trey: You left me.
Connie: [Scoffs] Come on. I left everything. Come on. Buck up, kiddo. You got the sweet end of the deal -- you got to live. You got to grow up. You got saved. And all thanks to dear old dad.
Tracy: Is what Sonny said true?
Sonny: What's he gonna say? Yes? If you want answers, ask John McBain. Joseph murdered his sister.
Tracy: And you said rapist?
Sonny: Ask Kate.
Joe Jr.: Tracy, he's lying.
Sonny: I'm not lying, Joe!
Joe Jr.: I never raped anyone!
Tracy: Enough! Okay, Sonny -- thank you for coming by. Please let me know if you hear anything about our lost funds. I will do the same for you.
Sonny: Okay, I don't feel comfortable leaving you with this piece of garbage.
Tracy: You can see yourself out. Thank you. Goodbye.
Sonny: See you real soon, Joseph.
Joe Jr.: Yeah, looking forward to it.
Sonny: Yeah.
Tracy: You have anything to add?
Joe Jr.: I was charged with killing John McBain's sister, but I was exonerated.
Tracy: And Kate?
Joe Jr.: You weren't there. You don't know.
Tracy: Did you rape her?
Joe Jr.: We had a one-night stand.
Tracy: [Scoffs]
Joe Jr.: It didn't happen the way she said.
Tracy: This is great. This is great. Not only do I get to tell my father that I lost $18 million but now I get to tell him that that charming antique dealer that I fell for and was about to ask to move in with me -- is worse than Anthony Zacchara. "But the good news is, daddy, I'm learning. I didn't marry this one!"
Joe Jr.: Look, Tracy, please, just hear me out.
Tracy: No. I don't want to hear another thing. I want you to leave. I'm done, through. Get out!
Steve: Hey, I thought you had the day off.
Elizabeth: My plans fell through. The boys are in school, and epiphany asked if I would take on another shift.
Steve: Is everything okay?
Elizabeth: Everything's just the same. Timing isn't right. Never was, never will be. So why shouldn't I be okay? This is just my life, right? It never changes.
Steve: I'm sorry.
Jason: We know the baby that died isn't Sam's. So that means her baby is out there somewhere.
Spinelli: How did Samantha come into possession of a changeling?
Jason: I don't know. Let's, uh -- let's go through it. You know, Sam -- Sam went into labor at the motel. McBain tried to get her some help, but he got detained. She got scared. She wandered out into the storm. She said that she started to panic and went into the woods. She was following some type of light.
Spinelli: But still with her own baby, right?
Jason: Right, right. She was afraid, she was weak -- she put the baby down. She passed out. When I found her -- she was unconscious, and the baby was dead, but it wasn't -- it wasn't Sam's baby.
Spinelli: Then whose baby was it?
Téa: What are you doing?! Oh, great. I just lost the call.
Heather: I'm sorry. I thought I needed to tell you, I think Victor's sick.
Téa: What's wrong with him?
Heather: I don't know. I put him down for his nap, and he seemed restless, and then I felt his forehead, and it felt warm. I looked around for --
[Cell phone rings]
Heather: Oh. This simply won't do at all.
Todd: Clearly the identity of your nanny's not that important or you would have picked up. Um -- tell Danny I said hi. And if you see Blair, ask her why she broke my heart.
Jason: If we can find where the baby came from, we might find Sam's son.
Spinelli: Perhaps it's time we brought Sam into the investigation.
Sam: Do you have the papers?
Alexis: I do. I have them. I have them right here.
Sam: Hand them over.
Kristina: Maybe you should give it some more time. I mean, do you really want to make a decision like this so soon after seeing Jason with Elizabeth?
Sam: I need a pen.
Alexis: I think she's right. I mean, I think you need to be really honest with yourself. Ask yourself if this is what you really want. Only six degrees separate the body temperature
Alexis: No, I'm not giving you the pen because I think you need to take some time and think about what you're doing.
Sam: There. It's over. [Breathes deeply]
Jason: Sam can't get involved in this.
Spinelli: Yeah, but her recollections of the events might prove vital.
Jason: What if her baby didn't make it that night, either?
Spinelli: It's a most sobering thought.
Jason: I don't -- I don' want to give Sam hope just so she can mourn her son all over again. We can reconstruct that night without her.
Spinelli: Okay. Well, where do we start?
Jason: We start the last place Sam was -- with her baby, alive. It was at that shack in the woods near the motel. Now, that's the only time somebody could have switched the baby.
Spinelli: I'm sorry. Does this shack happen to be off route 59, near mile marker 13?
Jason: Well, I don't know the exact mile marker, but, yeah, it's off 59. What do you know about it?
Spinelli: More than I care to.
Téa: What are you doing?
Heather: Oh, Todd Manning called again.
Téa: You answered my phone?
Heather: Well, normally, I would never, but I felt I needed to tell him why the previous call ended so abruptly. I didn't want him to worry.
Téa: Uh-huh.
Heather: And, of course, he was surprised to hear my voice coming over your phone, so I took the liberty of informing him that you'd hired me to take care of Victor Jr.
Téa: Did he remember who you were?
Heather: Of course -- as soon as he heard my voice. And he's thrilled that we're all becoming one big happy family.
Téa: Huh. That doesn't sound like Todd.
Todd: Remember what I said -- grain of salt.
Elizabeth: What was that about?
[Cell phone rings]
Steve: My mother.
Téa: Todd said he was happy about this?
Heather: Well, not in those exact words.
Téa: Yeah, he's not known to sound so upbeat.
Heather: Well, maybe he's just happy that the whole contamination situation in Port Charles is over. So, how's Victor?
Téa: Oh, he's fine. He actually doesn't have a temperature.
Heather: Good. Well, there's another mistake I made on my first day.
Téa: Where are you going?
Heather: [Chuckles] Obviously, this isn't gonna work out. I mean, I practically ripped the phone out of your hand, and then I answered a private call, and then I put you into a panic about your son for no reason. You're gonna think I'm some kind of freak show.
Téa: [Chuckles] I wouldn't go that far. [Breathes deeply]
Heather: It's just that I care so much. And sometimes, it makes me come off like a steamroller.
Téa: Caring is a good quality in a nanny, Susan.
Heather: So you're not gonna fire me?
Téa: You're a Godsend. You're a little jumpy -- but you're a Godsend.
Heather: No. That baby boy's the Godsend. I'm just so happy to be in his life.
Spinelli: The shack in question is adjacent to where Heather Webber disposed of Anthony Zacchara's body and is the exact same structure where she imprisoned Luke Spencer.
Jason: You think that Heather's involved in this?
Steve: Let me know as soon as you hear anything.
Elizabeth: What is it?
Steve: That was Ferncliff. My mother escaped.
Tracy: Leave. Wait.
Joe Jr.: Yeah?
Tracy: This belongs to you.
Joe Jr.: Keep it.
Tracy: I don't want anything that reminds me of you.
Joe Jr.: You're not gonna forget me, with or without that medal. Just like I'm not gonna forget you. We have something unexpected, something good. That's not going away. And neither am I.
[Necklace clatters]
Trey: Give it back.
Connie: What do you think of your daddy now, huh? Not exactly saint material. What's wrong with you? Why do you want it? To remind you where you come from?!
Trey: I said give it back!
Connie: That you were a mistake, a child of rape? That your daddy was a pig and your mother wanted to kill you instead?!
Trey: Give it back!
Connie: Get off of me!
Sonny: Hey!
Connie: Get back!
Sonny: What the hell are you doing?! What're you doing to my fiancée?!
