Sonny: Well, you know, I just wanted to prove that I had some class.

Kate: Oh, you did. You had class. And then some. Do you remember what we did afterward? [Chuckles] You rented that limo, and you took us to limelight. You got us into limelight. How'd you do that? And then you -- you moonwalked.

Sonny: [Laughs]

Kate: Oh, you were such a good dancer.

Sonny: What are you talking about? I still am. I'll show you after dinner if you want. Except I'm not gonna moonwalk. Those days are done. You know what I mean?

Kate: [Chuckles] Wow, Sonny. Romantic dinner, dancing. Careful. I could get used to this.

Sonny: Yeah. I can, too, you know. A lot more nights like this. A whole lifetime's worth.

Sam: Jason? [Sighs] So, um, I guess, um, I'll have my mom handle the legal stuff. Unless you think, of course, it's like a conflict with Sonny or anything.

Jason: No, if it's okay with Alexis, it's okay with me.

Sam: You gonna use Diane?

Jason: Yeah, yeah. I'll make sure she doesn't fight for anything. You -- you can have whatever you want.

Sam: I don't want anything. Jason, your apartment's yours. The money is yours.

Jason: You should live like you're used to living.

Sam: It wasn't about the money.

Jason: Then this is gonna be the easiest divorce in history.

Sam: [Sighs] Then why are we doing this at all?

Johnny: Yeah, I was gonna wait for you, but these are kind of restricting my blood flow.

Carly: I thought you'd be used to handcuffs.

Jerry: Is there a chance you were detected?

Ewen: No.

Jerry: So you're confident you left no trace.

Jerry: 'Cause I don't want to be revealed too prematurely. Things need to be in place.

Ewen: You have your niece. You have Robin. I'd just like to revisit the terms of our arrangement before -- before anyone else gets hurt. Okay?

Jerry: How did I? Oh, meet Hernando, the head of harbor view security. I called to say that the alarm was tripped, and voila. Here we are.

Ewen: You disgust me. These are innocent people, jerry. What do you want with them?

Jerry: Why do you always have to get ahead of yourself?

Ewen: Is it money, a ransom? I don't get it.

Jerry: No, no, no, no. It's not just simple greed. It's far more elemental.

Ewen: Stop!

Jason: I-I thought this divorce is what you wanted.

Sam: I know. I know. I thought so, too. I just -- I don't know. I'm sorry.

Sam: I don't know. I don't know. Maybe a trial separation, or we could go to marriage counseling or something. Would you -- would you do that?

Jason: If you thought it would save our marriage, I'd be willing --

Sam: I don't know! I don't know what I want! I'm going in circles. I can't -- I can't forgive you, but I can't stop loving you either. [Sighs]

Jason: Just because you love somebody doesn't mean it's always gonna work. I'd rather -- rather let you go than see you hurting.

Sam: You're hurting, too. Look at me. I'm punishing you, Jason. I've got to stop. We have already lost so much. I'm not gonna destroy what we had, what was beautiful.

Jason: [Sighs] Then we're doing the right thing.

Sam: There's just one problem, though. After everything we've been through -- how do we say goodbye?

Kate: Feels like there's something on your mind.

Sonny: Yeah, I've been thinking a lot about us. And, uh, when we were kids -- we tried to plan a future together, and that got stolen from us. And then when we were adults, we tried again. We made it all the way to the altar, and -- it went wrong.

Kate: That's one way of putting it.

Sonny: I let you walk out of my life twice. Out of some miracle, you came back. Now here we are together. I want to try it again. You know. Well, uh -- [Sighs] I want you in my life. I want you in my life forever.

Kate: [Gasps]

Sonny: Marry me.

Dante: Who would've thought? Maxie is pregnant.

Lulu: What?

Dante: That's why she was acting all weird at the hospital.

Lulu: Wait. No, no, no.

Dante: Is it matt's kid? He's in jail. How the heck did that happen? Wait, this is Patrick's kid?

Lulu: Stop, stop, stop, stop. You need to slow down.

Dante: These kind of secrets can ruin relationships.

Lulu: Maxie is not the one who's pregnant! I am!

Kate: [Exhales] Oh, Sonny.

Sonny: Believe me, I wasn't expecting you to jump out of your chair or anything. I know we're not 28 years old, you know, just starting a life.

Kate: Hey, what's this 28 talk there?

Sonny: We've been through the ringer, you and me, more than once, and I honestly believe we change that. We can change history, moving forward, the way you changed me.

Kate: How did I change you?

Sonny: Well, you know how I look at the world. You know, you're either loyal or you're not. There's no middle ground. You're in it, or you're out. I didn't know how to forgive, or maybe I didn't want to.

Kate: And now you can forgive me?

Sonny: Well, you know, when we went through that rough period, yeah, I wanted to write you off. You know that.

Kate: I know. You pretty much did --

Sonny: [Chuckles]

Kate: -- Write me off.

Sonny: But when I found out that you were sick -- and I saw you struggle, it reminded me of my own illness, because in my life -- I felt like I was a different person.

Kate: Yeah. I think I trumped you on that one. [Chuckles]

Sonny: The point is that the people who -- who cared stayed. They accepted my mistakes. They helped -- helped me through it, right? And they waited for me till I got to the other side.

Kate: [Sniffles]

Sonny: That's what I want for you. You know what I mean?

Kate: [Sniffles]

Sonny: I want to be by your side -- for the rest of our lives.

Kate: Sonny, what if -- what if Connie comes back?

Jason: I don't know. Maybe we just, you know, take a little time and we go away, and we just, you know, process the whole thing, Sam.

Sam: No. Jason, no. 'Cause then it'll feel like we're just avoiding each other, and I don't want that. [Sighs] I wish it weren't all or nothing. [Sniffles]

Jason: What do you mean?

Sam: I mean like we could get a divorce and we could still be friends and hang out and talk like we used to.

Jason: I don't really see how.

Sam: You're not just my husband. Jason, you were -- you're my best friend.

Jason: Same here.

Ewen: Let go of the syringe.

Jerry: Once more, you prove to be vastly uninformed.

Ewen: And whose fault would that be?

Jerry: I really don't like you, Dr. Keenan. You're proving to be more trouble than you're worth, really.

Ewen: You're trying to drug an innocent woman and doing the same to your own flesh and blood. She's just a child.

Jerry: Oh, spare me the outrage. It rings forced coming from you. Please.

Ewen: I thought after Robin's death -- faking her death -- this would be over.

Jerry: Well, it's not. Would you like to be released from our agreement?

Ewen: You'd do that?

Jerry: If it's too much to bear. I'll be reminded to cite your sterling moral convictions when I pay a visit to Elizabeth Webber. Doubtless an account of your principled stance will lessen the blow of what you've done.

Ewen: You better keep Elizabeth out of this.

Jerry: You have an unfortunate tendency of repeating yourself, Dr. Keenan. It's really becoming tedious. So let's say this for the last time. Elizabeth Webber stays out of this if you continue to cooperate. Now, give me the syringe. Better. All right.

Johnny: Maybe she's hiding.

Carly: This time of night? Johnny, she's never done that before. What if someone took her? Oh, my God! What if someone took her?

Johnny: Or -- or she could be outside.

Dante: [Coughing]

Ewen: So, you really loathe Carly so much that you'd endanger your own niece. And Alexis -- I mean, the only thing she's guilty of is rejecting you.

Jerry: Again, your insight on events is catastrophically shallow.

Ewen: Then help me understand.

Jerry: Oh, far too time-consuming. And speaking of time, you are free this evening, after completing one final assignment.

Carly: Damn it, Dante, pick up the phone.

[Cell phone vibrating]

Kate: When you asked me to marry you the first time, you wondered if I deserved better.

Sonny: I remember.

Kate: That's what I'm worried about, Sonny.

Jerry: Lovely to see you again, Alexis. [Coughing] [Sighs] I have to admit -- I didn't think you'd be fighting as hard as you -- you did. Not to worry, though. You and Josslyn both have what you need. [Coughs]

Johnny: Carly!
