Rebecca: Are you saying that today wasn't an accident?

Mac: Look, careful, Robin. You've been making a lot of accusations lately.

Robin: I have evidence this time, okay? Edward didn't simply have a heart attack and then drive into the crowd of the carnival.

Ethan: Why? Did someone mess with his car?

Robin: Somebody messed with his heart. Edward, you ingested something that brought on a heart attack.

Rebecca: So, who wants him dead?

Robin: The mayor's wife.

Edward: Andrea Floyd?

Robin: Edward, what happened here today was her fault, not yours.

Elizabeth: Mmm. This is crazy. This is crazy. Anybody could have seen us.

Patrick: Take it easy. Your heart rate's already spiking.

Dominic: Look, I don't want anyone trying to contact my mother, okay? I just want you to leave her out of it.

Sonny: You must be pretty desperate if you think I'm the answer to your prayers.

Olivia: I believe in signs.

Sonny: I believe in coincidences. But if I could help you with whatever you need, go ahead.

Olivia: It's been on my heart and on my conscience a long time.

Sonny: I been in this church on my knees praying a lot. What's on your mind?

Olivia: Your son.

Nikolas: I don't think she saw us.

Elizabeth: She could have. Anybody could have.

Nikolas: I know. I wasn't trying to--I was just trying to comfort you. The last thing I wanna do is hurt you--

Elizabeth: It's okay. I know. I know. I'm just highly emotional right now.

Nikolas: Well, who can blame you after what just happened?

Elizabeth: That doesn't excuse this.

Nikolas: I know. I'm sorry.

Elizabeth: No, we're always sorry, but this has to stop. We have to stop doing this to Lucky.

Lucky: They just locked down the carnival site. We're still counting the injured.

Edward: And it's all my fault.

Rebecca: Hey, no, it's not.

Mac: Wait'll you hear what Robin just uncovered.

Robin: Edward had a complete workup that showed his heart was just fine, and then he goes into cardiac arrest? I know that they did a tox screen to check him for drug and alcohol levels, and it showed Digitalis in his system.

Edward: I don't take Digitalis.

Robin: Of course you don't. It could literally stop your heart, with your medical history. So I went to the morgue and I went through Andrea Floyd's effects, and there was an empty vial of Digitalis in her purse.

Mac: I hope you didn't break the chain of evidence.

Robin: There was an M.E. as a witness.

Edward: You know, Andrea Floyd barely left my side during that whole carnival kickoff party. She kept w-wanting me to have a drink with her.

Robin: Andrea knew you'd have a coronary. What she couldn't imagine is that you would drive through the carnival and into her.

Ethan: Yeah. That's pretty ironic.

Robin: Isn't it? Andrea set up Edward to die, and it ended up killing her.

Edward: Monica told me not to drive. I should never have gotten behind that wheel. [Sighs] And now I'll never forgive myself.

Dominic: You know what? I wanna get outta here.

Patrick: Hey, relax. Dominic, listen. I don't wanna have you sedated.

Dominic: I don't want you or anybody else trying to contact my mother.

Patrick: Dominic, we need to get ahold of your mother or your father or somebody else in your family. If you need a transplant, your family's the difference between life and death.

Olivia: I've seen how good you are with Michael and with Morgan, and I am so sorry.

Sonny: Olivia, what is this about?

Olivia: Dominic.

Sonny: What about him?

Olivia: Um, I heard that you're paying his medical bills.

Sonny: Yeah. Well, it's the least I can do. I mean, he--he rescued Morgan and got injured.

Olivia: Yeah. Well, this whole carnival thing was supposed to be my baby. You know, it was supposed to be a day about families having fun and raising money for a good cause, and now it just turned into this terrible tragedy, and--

Sonny: You're not responsible, so what are we talking about?

Olivia: Well, I am. I am. I am. I approved the layouts and the security, and there obviously should have been more barriers or more--more something. I'd be surprised if we don't all get sued.

Sonny: This is way too much guilt, even for a nice Catholic girl like you.

Olivia: Oh. I'll say a couple extra Hail Marys, just in case, okay?

Sonny: Okay. I hope God answers your prayers.

Olivia: Well, God, obviously I wasn't really clear on what that message was supposed to mean, okay? So, um, I am just going to assume, in your infinite wisdom, that, um--that you don't want me to break my boy's heart and blow his life all apart unless it is absolutely necessary.

Olivia: Uh-oh. Guess when a doctor comes to pray, things really can't be good.

Patrick: Oh, even I need a little help every once in a while.

Olivia: Yeah, I been looking for answers myself. A little bit hard to come by these days, even in here.

Patrick: You told the front desk that you would be in here if there was any change in Dominic's case.

Olivia: Is he okay?

Patrick: So far, yeah. I just found it curious that you'd be willing to put yourself on record, all things considered.

Olivia: Well, you know I, um-- I was in charge of the carnival. I just wanted to make sure that he's getting treated right, you know.

Patrick: You know, when patients lie to their doctors, at times, it ends up killing them, but for some reason, the patients still lie. For instance, in Dominic's case, I know the both of you are not being honest with me.

Olivia: Why would you say that?

Patrick: Olivia, I'm not here to judge. Dominic is my patient. The fact that you are his mother could make a significant difference in his treatment. Am I right that neither Sonny or Dominic know that they're father-son?

Olivia: How did you know that, Patrick? Nobody could possibly know that.

Patrick: Olivia--

Olivia: I gotta--

Patrick: Just relax. Listen to me. I didn't say anything, but the fact of the matter is your son is not in good shape. If he needs a kidney transplant, you got a lot of explaining to do.

Olivia: Okay, you know what? You know what? I need to get myself tested. I need to get all my brothers tested. Maybe we could even test Sonny for a match, but we can't--we cannot tell Sonny that there's any kind of a genetic connection.

Patrick: You really think that Sonny's gonna give a kidney to someone that he doesn't know?

Olivia: Can't we just cross that bridge when we get to it, Patrick?

Patrick: Sonny is Dominic-- or Dante's father. Olivia, Sonny has a right to know what's at stake.

Dominic: [Labored breathing] Look--look out. [Grunts]

Sonny: Dominic, hi. You okay?

Dominic: [Groans] Yeah.

Sonny: You saved my son's life.

Dominic: I was--I was just in the right place at the right time, you know.

Sonny: Yeah. I wasn't. I watched my son frozen in the path of a speeding car, and I ran after him knowing I wasn't gonna reach him. He could have died right in front of me. And you pushed him out of the way.

Dominic: Well, you asked me to look after your kids.

Sonny: But it wasn't just doing your job. You know, it happened too fast. You could have saved yourself instead of Morgan. One of these days, when you're a father, you'll understand what that means.

Dominic: [Sighs] Man. Who wants to be a father? Your kids look up to you, they worship you, and then somehow you end up letting 'em down. They sue you for emotional abandonment and point out what a--what a jerk you are. Heh.

Sonny: You know, for somebody who doesn't have a father, I mean, or didn't know his father, you seem to know a lot about that.

Dominic: Ah, I know a lot about hero worship, what it feels like when you get disappointed by that hero, you know. I feel like that's what's gonna happen with me and Morgan, like I'm, uh, doomed to disappoint him.

Sonny: Morgan has a talent for sizing people up. I guess-- I guess he was right about you.

Dominic: Heh. Does that mean I get a raise?

Sonny: [Chuckles] You're gonna have to just settle for a compliment at this moment. All I'm saying is I, you know--my boy wouldn't be half-bad if he grew up to be the man you are.

Elizabeth: If Lucky saw us sneaking around, kissing in the corners, he'd cut you out of his life. Is that what you want, just one more way to punish yourself?

Nikolas: It's not my intention to hurt my brother or you.

Elizabeth: God, I don't know why this is happening. Why, after all this time, am I-- it's like I can't help myself, but I know it's not right.

Nikolas: Look, I'm sorry, okay. You've been a good friend to me. I should be a better one to you.

Sam: Hey. Um, surprised to see you.

Jason: Yeah. I'm, uh, kind of surprised to be here.

Sam: Come in.

Jason: I actually thought I was gonna go home when I left the hospital, but I realized that I kind of needed to talk to you.

Sam: What happened? Uh, is it-- did Jake have a setback or anything?

Jason: No. Jake's fine. [Sighs] I went to check in on Jake, and I saw Elizabeth and Nikolas kissing.

Sam: Well, I don't--maybe they were just happy, you know, just kind of relieved that Jake's--

Jason: No, it wasn't. It wasn't that kind of kiss.

Sam: Elizabeth and Nikolas? I just--it's sort of hard to believe. Although I know you don't exaggerate, so--ehh. Did they see you?

Jason: No.

Sam: No. This is very unexpected. Elizabeth and Lucky always seem like they are toge-- oh, gosh, Lucky. This is gonna devastate him. I mean, I'm sure this--I mean, it can't be easy for you either.

Jason: Elizabeth gets to be with who she wants to be with, and if that's Nikolas, then that's Nikolas. I'm just worried how it's gonna affect my son.

Lucky: And what motive did Andrea Floyd have to kill Edward?

Robin: Andrea Floyd's husband, the mayor, was having an affair with his aide, Brianna Hughes. Andrea had followed them both to the Metro Court to, I guess, confront the mayor and Brianna. Brianna had already hit her head in the shower.

Ethan: Oh. So, what, the wife whacks the mistress over the head to make it look like an accident?

Robin: Right. There were blunt, heavy objects in the room that could do the job, but were small enough to sneak out of the hotel room.

Edward: And that big, ugly handbag that you asked me about, the one that Andrea was carrying--

Mac: You remember seeing Andrea Floyd in the hotel that day?

Edward: Yes, at the end of the corridor right outside the room where that poor girl was killed.

Robin: Once she realized that you could put her at the scene of the crime, Andrea slipped you the Digitalis.

Rebecca: Wow. I can't believe she could be that cold.

Mac: Yeah, Andrea Floyd didn't wanna lose her husband or his political career.

Lucky: I just still don't understand how you got involved, Robin.

Robin: I just wanted to prove Alexis innocent. I didn't want Andrea to get away with murder. I didn't want her to die either.

Mac: I'm gonna run all this by forensics. With the toxicology report, the Digitalis evidence, I'm sure you'll be exonerated of all charges.

Edward: Thank you, my-- my dear girl.

Rebecca: Then now Mr. Quartermaine can get better, right?

Robin: Yeah. We'll let you rest.

Edward: Thank you.

Ethan: Aren't you coming?

Rebecca: Um, no, not--not yet. Now, you see? You're completely innocent.

Edward: I told you about calling me Mr. Quartermaine.

Rebecca: Heh. Sorry, grandfather. Something's still bothering you, isn't it?

Edward: I shouldn't have been driving. [Sighs] I hurt so many people. Oh, what must Lila think of me right now?

Dominic: You know, Morgan's a pretty good kid. He just seems a little lonely. Pardon my saying so.

Sonny: No, hey, you know, we used to spend a lot of time together, me and Morgan.

Dominic: Well, his mother remarried. I mean, that changes things, right?

Sonny: Nah. It goes back to when Michael was shot and to the time my best intentions blew up in my face.

Dominic: I don't think I know what you mean.

Sonny: Michael wanted to visit me, uh, at my work, legitimate work at the coffee warehouse. My fiancée brought him.

P.A.: Dr. Leo Julian to O.R. 3.

Sonny: Kate Howard, she's Olivia's cousin. Anyway, um, there was a sniper, and he took a shot at me, and it ricocheted and hit my son in the head. Carly had me sign away my boy, so I barely, uh, saw Morgan. I still don't even know how safe they are with me.

Dominic: If you stop seeing Morgan, he'll blame himself. He'll think he did something to make you stop coming around.

Sonny: Is that what you did, blame yourself?

Dominic: Heh. I've, uh-- I've never really said that out loud before. I didn't want to hurt my mom.

P.A.: Dr. Megan Grosbard to pathology.

Sonny: You know, when my father walked away, I said that I would never do what he did to any of my kids. And it took me to grow up to finally forgive my father and know that people do things for different reasons. There's no excuse for not making an effort, and I think your-- your dad's a damn fool to not even try.

Olivia: Okay, you need to tell me exactly how you know so much about my business.

Patrick: I overheard a conversation between you and Kate when she was in the hospital after being shot in the church.

Olivia: And this is the first you're telling me? You've known this for almost a year.

Patrick: It wasn't any of my business before, but now it is because he's my patient. And Sonny or one of his sons could be a donor if he needs a transplant.

Olivia: And what if he doesn't need a transplant?

Patrick: I have a patient who's gravely ill. He has a right to know that the little boy that he saved is his brother. Or that on the other side of that door is--there's family that cares about him. I'd wanna know.

Olivia: I was 15 years old when I got pregnant. I didn't tell Sonny that he was the father, and I didn't tell my kid, 'cause I didn't want him growing up with a gangster for a father, okay?

Patrick: That's your choice, but it doesn't change the fact that Dominic, he needs the best care possible, and I'm the one to give it to him. And, Olivia, I don't think you would jeopardize your son's life just to keep a secret.

Olivia: Yeah, but keeping his secret does protect his life. Okay, okay, if he needs this transplant, I will tell the secret. I will blow it sky-high. All right? I will tell my boy that Sonny is his father, and I'll tell Sonny that Dominic is Dante and that it's his son.

Kristina: Michael? I thought you left.

Kiefer: Hey. It's me. I was just driving by, and I saw your lights on. Is it too late?

Kristina: No. I'm glad you're here.

Kiefer: Look, I keep thinking about how you could have died. I swore my heart stopped.

Kristina: It was scary, but I'm okay now.

Kiefer: Look, I hate having to hide us from your dad, okay? I need to be able to talk to you.

Kristina: You know you can call me or text me anytime.

Kiefer: I got a better idea. I got this for you.

Kristina: Heh. But I already have a phone.

Kiefer: Well, this one's ours. No one else will have the number, okay, and I can call you whenever I want, even if it's just to say that I'm thinking about you or I miss you. It's our own private connection.

Patrick: You must be proud of yourself. Busted that case wide open just like you said you would. Thank you.

Robin: I know. I pushed Andrea pretty hard, which made her desperate, and then her only solution was to try and kill Edward. I mean, really, if I had handled things differently, you know, maybe this whole tragedy could have been avoided.

Patrick: I'm gonna be selfish for a minute here. What happened was a tragedy. There's no doubt about that. Andrea died, and neither one of us wanted that.

Robin: Mm-mmm.

Patrick: But what's hardest for me to--what's hardest for me to swallow is that Andrea could have just as easily tried to kill you. So in spite of everything, that's my silver lining.

Robin: It's funny. I never felt in danger.

Patrick: Heh. You get that from your mother.

Robin: And my father.

Patrick: That's true.

Robin: Heh. I feel like I have the tiniest bit of an idea what it feels like to accomplish a mission.

Patrick: Well, you should be proud of yourself. You were smart, you were committed, and I'm very proud of you.

Robin: Thank you. That means a lot to me.

Patrick: You're welcome.

Robin: But I promise I'll be more careful next time.

Patrick: Oh, come on. Please, no next time.

Robin: What do you mean? You know what it's like to be good at something. You know, you get addicted.

Patrick: Huh.

Robin: Maybe that's why I went into medicine. It's kind of the same, figuring out problems, solving mysteries. Can't waste a talent like that. Oh, maybe I should start reading Nancy Drew to Emma at nighttime. It's in her genes, too.

Patrick: Just don't cut into my NASCAR time with her.

Jason: Lucky is the only father that Jake knows.

Sam: And he's a good one. I've seen it. He loves those boys like--like they're his own.

Jason: I know. I know he does. He's a good dad.

Sam: All right, okay, I get it. So you're worried that if Lucky finds out that if something's going on between his brother and Elizabeth--

Jason: No, I am worried that Lucky could leave and things could get really ugly. I saw what Sonny's kids went through with his custody battles. I never, ever want Jake to go through something like that.

Elizabeth: Jakey, Daddy's-- he's gonna come back and say goodnight to you, okay, make sure you're okay. Oh, my sweet boy. Who knew what it must be like to be you? How you can stay so calm in the midst of all this chaos. I really hate chaos, and yet it always seems to follow me. Heh. I know. You're fine. Mommy'll be right back, okay? Okay.  [Kiss] Do you mind? All right, thank you.

Rebecca: How's he doing?

Elizabeth: The doctors say he'll be fine.

Rebecca: Oh, good. I'm happy for you, Elizabeth.

Elizabeth: Thanks.

Rebecca: Um, listen, I've come to ask you a favor, um, for Edward's sake. Okay, it turns out that today wasn't his fault.

Elizabeth: He was driving the car.

Rebecca: Yeah, somebody slipped something into his drink that made him have a heart attack. And of course he still blames himself anyway, but if he could see him, you know, just for a minute and--and reassure him that Jake's okay, it would do so much to relieve his conscience. Look, Elizabeth, I have nothing to gain here except to put Edward at ease, and he's been through enough today.

Elizabeth: You know, this is exactly what Emily would do.

Rebecca: Who cares, as long as it helps Edward?

Elizabeth: Okay. Yes. You're right. That was unfair of me to say. I will go see Edward. Soon.

[Footsteps]

Nikolas: Jake's fine. I was just--

Lucky: Yeah, I know. I know. Elizabeth and I, we've been texting. You know, I've come to a decision, thanks to you.

Nikolas: What'd I do?

Lucky: Your struggle when you lost Em, which drove you into this whole Rebecca mess.

Nikolas: Oh, right. So somehow watching my life explode has helped you out, hmm?

Lucky: All the time I've wasted. The woman I love, she's alive and well right down that hallway. Why shouldn't I give our love another chance to be happy?

Nikolas: What are you planning to do?

Lucky: Give us our life back, the one we shared. I mean, Elizabeth, she deserves it. I mean, there's nothing to stand in our way or anything.

Nikolas: No.

Lucky: All right. See you later.

Sonny: There I was with Father Valente, caught red-handed, ball in hand. It's like I threw the best pitch I ever threw, so I know this--heh. The stained-glass window is behind me, right? It's broken, shattered. And he looks at me, so I act like, you know, I didn't do it. So I put the ball--I grab it. I put it in my pocket, but the ball's so big that it rips the seam, and the ball, it drops right in between him and I.

Dominic: No way.

Sonny: And I'm like, "nah, nah, nah."

Dominic: So busted.

Olivia: Hey, hey. What's goin' on here?

Sonny: Oh, I was just tellin' Dominic about my shameful past, and, you know, I was gonna get to the best part, which would be you, unless you have an objection.

Elizabeth: [Laughs] It's a bunny.

Jake: Ear. Eye.

Elizabeth: Ah, do you see the eyes? It's a cute bunny. You gonna eat it? Or is mama gonna eat it?

Jake: [Laughs]

Elizabeth: Shh, shh, shh.

Lucky: Hi.

Elizabeth: Hi. You eat your cracker. I'll be right back. Oh, God.

Lucky: How's he doing?

Elizabeth: He's great.

Lucky: Yeah? And how 'bout you?

Elizabeth: A little stressed, incredibly grateful.

Lucky: You know, sometimes I can't help but think about what could have happened.

Elizabeth: Don't. Please. We just need to stay focused on the positive.

Lucky: Speaking of which--

Elizabeth: What? What's goin' on?

Lucky: You know, things have become really clear to me. Tonight I can't help but think about how many miracles one guy can get.

Elizabeth: I think we've had our share.

Lucky: You know how important you, Jake, and Cameron are to me, so why aren't we doin' something about it?

Sam: Maybe what you caught between Nikolas and Elizabeth was a weak moment. I mean, given everything that they've gone through today, they're vulnerable, especially Elizabeth. I mean, even if the two of them do get together, Lucky is an adult. An adult. Okay, maybe he might be a little bit upset that his brother's sleeping with his ex-wife, but he's certainly not gonna take it out on the kids.

Jason: I just know that people do crazy things when they're hurt.

Sam: I know Lucky, and he doesn't only love these children, but he's made a commitment to them. He knows what it's like to have a father who's M.I.A.

Jason: As long as Jake doesn't lose the only father he knows. I pretty much, you know, gave up my right to have a say in the rest of it anyway.

Sam: You were there today to help save him.

Jason: Heh. I only went to the carnival because you finally said yes. So, thanks.

Kiefer: Uh, that's the games app. Then music's right there. And I got you G.P.S., you know, so when you're driving again, you're gonna know where the hell you're going.

Kristina: Just seems like a lot of trouble to go to when I already have a perfectly good phone for you to call and leave messages on.

Kiefer: Well, my messages don't always get answered. This way, you're gonna know it's me, and then I'll be able to find you when I need to. You know? And you're not gonna be texting when I'm trying to reach you, and you'll know it's me because I have my own special ring. Then you can just call me right back.

Kristina: So it's kinda like when you whistle for a dog, I just come running or something?

Kiefer: All right, why don't you get it? Why do you play these games with me, huh?

Jax: Hey.

Michael: Why are you up?

Jax: Uh, it's morning in India. I was trying to catch my mother before she left on her trek, so...

Michael: Tell your mom hi for me.

Jax: Yeah. Sure. I will.

Michael: So, you were really waiting up for me, weren't you?

Jax: It was the only way I could get your mother to go to bed, so... how is Kristina?

Michael: Well, I just went up to go check on her, and, uh--ahem. It's just a sprained wrist.

Jax: Oh.

Michael: So, she's okay.

Jax: Lucky. Yeah.

Michael: You're not gonna sit up every night and wait for me until the baby's born--

Jax: No, no, no. It's just tonight, your mom was worried about you. I don't wanna, you know, make it seem like you're--you're in charge to keep your mother calm or anything, so...

Michael: Oh, I know. I get it.

Jax: Yeah. Yeah, I been meaning to say this. I'm--I was hard on you right after you came out of the coma... [Echoing] But I'm sorry I let it get to this point, Michael.  [Normal] You okay?

Elizabeth: This has been a really emotional night.

Lucky: Which is why I can't waste a chance to tell you what I feel.

Elizabeth: You don't have to. I know how you feel about me and--

Lucky: And I love you. I always will.

Elizabeth: Lucky...

Lucky: You know, we just have an amazing honesty between each other. I love spending time with you. I just don't know why we haven't moved forward.

Elizabeth: I don't want you to say anything in the heat of the moment that--

Lucky: Please, I just wanna tell you what I feel. I still believe every word I've ever said to you when we've gotten married before. And I still wanna spend the rest of my life with you. Elizabeth, will you marry me?

Rebecca: Hey. Have you been waiting for me all this time?

Nikolas: Well, I knew you wanted to spend some more time with Edward, but if you're ready to leave, I'd very much like you to come home with me.

Ethan: Don't do it, Rebecca.

Nikolas: This is none of your business.

Ethan: I can't believe you'd do this.

Nikolas: I'm telling you to back off.

Rebecca: You've been wonderful tonight, Ethan. Please don't ruin it by--

Ethan: You can't trust Nikolas, okay? If you go home with him, you'll regret it.

Kiefer: If Michael gave you that phone, you'd take it.

Kristina: He's my brother. Let go.

Kiefer: You don't avoid his calls.

Kristina: Ow! You're hurting me.

Kiefer: I'm sorry. Okay? God, I am really, really sorry. Okay, you just--you always--you make me do this. You never let up. I'm giving you a gift, and you throw it back in my face.

Kristina: That's not what I was doing.

Kiefer: I got that because I worry about you. I care too much about you. You didn't even notice.

[Playing music]

Singer: Be careful...

Kristina: You didn't.

Kiefer: It's your favorite song.

[Music stops]

Kiefer: Look. And the phone is your favorite color. I pay attention to these things. I do it for you, okay? Because I care about you.

Kristina: I'm sorry. Thank you.

Kiefer: It's just the beginning.

Jax: Sure you're feeling okay?

Michael: Yeah.

Jax: A little pale.

Michael: No, it's just been a long day. I'm tired.

Jax: Okay. Try not to stay up too late. I'm gonna go back to bed. See you in the morning. [Echoing] I'm sorry, Michael. I am so sorry. I helped put you in this bed, in this coma. I helped my brother do this. I had a chance to come clean with your mother, but I didn't, and I won't. You see, she's-- she's really happy now, and we're back together, so I don't wanna sacrifice that. But she can't ever know.

Sam: How did you know I wanted to go to the carnival when I kept telling you I didn't?

Jason: Carly warned me.

Sam: Ohh.

Jason: She said a lot of--well, she always says a lot of stuff, but part of it was not to believe you if you said you didn't wanna spend time with me.

Sam: Wow. It's perceptive.

Jason: Okay, so let me get this straight.

Sam: Mm-hmm.

Jason: So, you were backing off because you really wanted to go?

Sam: No. I don't know. Okay. Look, maybe. All right. Fine. I can be as direct as you want right now.

Jason: If that's--if that's what you want.

Sam: I've really enjoyed the time that we've spent together lately. [Sighs] But I know how far off track that, um, we were, and I just--I didn't wanna ruin how nice it's been by talking about it too much.

Jason: Me either.

[Cell phone rings]

Sam: [Sighs] [Ring] I have to take this. Hold on. Hello.

Michael: I didn't know who else to call, and I need your help. You cannot tell Jason what I'm about to tell you.

Dominic: I think Mike said something about you two knowing each other from the neighborhood.

Sonny: Yeah, yeah. We, uh-- we went to grammar school--

Olivia: Sonny, the kid is not interested in the stupid stories about the old neighborhood, I'm sure.

Sonny: Oh, okay.

Dominic: Sure. Sure I am. I wanna hear how Ms. Falconeri figures into the whole stickball story.

Sonny: You ready for this one, Dominic? She was the one who broke the stained-glass window.

Olivia: Really, do we--

Dominic: [Laughs, winces]

Olivia: Do we really need to go there right now?

Sonny: I know she doesn't seem like it, but she's a hell of a stickball player...

Dominic: No kidding.

Sonny: This one.

Dominic: Me, too. My mom used to teach me. She played all the time.

Olivia: All right, all right, all right. Enough. Enough with the--with the stickball diaries.

Sonny: Can I finish my story, at least? Thank you. I was just about to get to the part where she confessed to Father Valente that she broke the window, because she knew that I was in hot water with God. And that's one thing she always did. If she was wrong, she owned up to it, no matter the consequences.

Olivia: Sonny, the kid obviously needs his rest, and Patrick's gonna be here any second with the test results.

Dominic: I don't really care about his test results. There's no transplants happening. No one's insides are goin' into mine.

Olivia: Not just anybody's.

Patrick: Excuse me. I'm glad you're all here. I've, uh, got Dominic's test results.
