Sam: Leave me alone! Is that me?
Jax: So what do you think?
Carly: It's spectacular. It's perfect. It is, it's just perfect for our wedding.
Jax: Yep. There's just one more element that we have to have in place.
Emily: Hey, Patrick? Do you -- do you have a minute?
Patrick: Yes, I'm doing the Cronson surgery, and, yes, you can observe.
Emily: Thanks, uh, but it's actually a personal question.
Patrick: Okay.
Emily: Are you back together with Robin?
Jerry: Good morning. Beautiful day, isn't it? Isn't it? You know, it is always so pleasant chatting with you. So how was your shift last night at the hospital?
Robin: It was fine. Patrick stayed focused on his work, and he treated me abysmally.
Jerry: Well, I certainly hope you're telling the truth.
[Phone rings]
Jerry: Oh -- oh, this can wait.
Jax: You can dodge my calls all you want, Jerry. But Carly and I are getting married on Friday, and I expect my big brother to be there.
Patrick: I have been bringing my personal problems to work lately and it's a bad precedent to set. We're at the hospital; we should be concentrating on medicine.
Emily: Patrick, it would really help if I understood what was going on. Your situation with Robin really affects mine with Nikolas. Have the two of you patched things up?
Noah: So -- hey, have you two decided whether you're going to join the revolt against Dr. Ford? I'm sure you are because your mother's fighting for the position of chief of staff.
Emily: Well, I'm an intern. I'm not in position to oppose a senior staff member.
Russell: I got your message. What seems to be the problem?
Noah: Look, Dr. Ford, turning away patients because they can't afford the treatment is -- it's criminal.
Russell: We have a responsibility to keep General Hospital solvent for all of our patients.
Amelia: I'm just looking for odds and ends that might be useful for damage control after last night's shooting.
Sam: Look, I am -- I am so sorry. I had no idea that --
Amelia: Oh, why apologize? Their dispute was with Jason, not you.
Sam: Yeah, I know. But still, I'm sure you were terrified.
Amelia: It's over, and the production is still going on, and that's all that matters. Now, are you ready to get back to "Everyday Heroes"?
Sam: I sure am. What's up for today?
Amelia: Okay, we need to shoot wraparounds for two more segments and then talk about scheduling locations for the segments of escaping a fire and how to help out in a car accident.
Sam: A car -- um, would you mind if we skipped that segment for today?
Amelia: Any particular reason?
Sam: Well, yeah. Jason -- he left on his motorcycle, and I just -- I guess I don't want to jinx him or anything.
Amelia: Is Sam McCall superstitious? I wouldn't have guessed. No, I'm just worried. We really didn't get to talk last night, so --
Amelia: Well, maybe he did you a favor.
Lulu: Hey, Spinelli, what's up?
Spinelli: Greetings, beautific blond one. Um -- hey, we need to interface about Stone Cold.
Lulu: Okay, yeah, just make it quick because I'm supposed to meet Carly at Rice Manor, soon.
Spinelli: Oh, you are? Wow. Wow. This is -- this is, like, fate.
Lulu: What is?
Spinelli: Okay, um -- look, the Valkyrie's, like, Stone Cold's best friend, right? So I was thinking maybe it would be helpful to consult her on the whole baby thing.
Lulu: No, no, no, no. Jason doesn't want Carly to know that he's the father of Elizabeth’s baby.
Spinelli: Yeah, okay, Stone Cold took off on his motorcycle last night, okay? He didn't tell anyone. He just left a note for Samantha saying "don't worry" and "I'll call."
Lulu: Okay, that's, I mean, maybe a little rude, but that's not alarming.
Spinelli: Stone Cold is -- is weakened by the pain of his secret fatherhood, okay? He could -- he could lose control of his bike, or some other misfortune.
Lulu: Spinelli, you're being melodramatic right now.
Spinelli: No, no, losing this baby is kryptonite to Stone Cold's superman. Come on, haven't you noticed? I mean, he's silent, he's --
Lulu: Jason is always silent.
Spinelli: This is torturing him, okay? It's getting worse every day. His -- his life force is fading.
Lulu: Well, Jason has been pretty distracted.
Spinelli: Yes, yes, and we can't let harm befall him, okay? Stone Cold protects everyone, and now he has problems and it's our turn to protect him.
Lulu: And Carly would want to help.
Spinelli: Right, it's the answer for everything. So please, please, Blond One, confide in Carly about Jason's offspring as soon as you see her.
Carly: Why are you so determined to have Jerry at our wedding?
Jax: Well, for one thing, it's his fault that we didn't get married on New Year’s Eve like we planned. I mean, if it hadn't been for Jerry and his Russian oil debacle, I wouldn't have left town, and you wouldn't have spent all that time with Sonny.
Carly: You know, sometimes things happen for a reason.
Jax: Well, I can't think of an upside, you know, to Sonny tricking you into marrying him.
Carly: When you left I knew that I loved you and that you were the man I wanted to marry. But, you know, Sonny felt like unfinished business, like there wasn't real closure there.
Jax: Spending time with Sonny gave you real closure, is that what you're saying?
Carly: During the hostage crisis, we really thought we'd be killed. And it forced us to take a look at ourselves, and Sonny did not want to let me go. But he did. After months of fighting for me, he finally wound up at a place where he just wanted me to be happy.
Jax: And what about you?
Carly: Well, I got the distance and the clarity I needed to choose you with an open heart. So I'm kind of grateful to Jerry.
Jax: Well, now if he'll only show up at our wedding, we can thank him in person.
[Carly laughs]
Jerry: You're staring. What's so fascinating about me not taking a call?
Robin: I just find it interesting that you might have a personal life.
Jerry: Well, that could be problematic, given that I'm in the process of becoming an entirely new person.
Nikolas: His papers have come through. He's now officially Mr. James Brosnan, residing in London.
Robin: Well, congratulations.
Jerry: And pass the opportunity of conducting business under the umbrella of Cassadine holdings? I think not.
Robin: Well, you can do business just as easily in London.
Jerry: Oh, I couldn't do that to my host. Nikolas needs the counteragent every 24 hours if he wants to survive, and I'm the only one with access to it.
Robin: You could leave us the counteragent and then --
Jerry: Enough! Learn to take no for an answer! Now, I will stay right here in this charming abode while you go off to work to keep Paddy under control. Clear?
Robin: Yeah. I'll -- I'll see you later.
Nikolas: Yeah, yeah.
Nikolas: Whatever your objective is, I certainly hope it's worth the risk. Because as long as you stay here in Port Charles, the better chance you have to wind up dead.
Sam: Jason probably thinks he's doing me a favor by backing off right now.
Amelia: Well, he is if people are trying to kill him.
Sam: I mean, he's keeping his distance from my new career.
Amelia: By his own choice.
Sam: He knows nothing about the television business.
Amelia: Yeah, and he clearly is not interested in learning. When Jason was here and you asked him to watch the taping of the new show, he refused.
Sam: Yeah, I told you a million times, he's not comfortable with public attention.
Amelia: Obviously.
Sam: Are you kidding me? Jason also blames himself for those gunmen coming in here when it wasn't his fault!
Amelia: Those men were after you or me. We were targeted specifically to send a message to Jason.
Sam: What do you want me to do? You want me to quit the show and lock myself up in the penthouse?
Amelia: No, there's a better solution -- quit Jason instead.
Maxie: I can't believe this is your last day at the Metro Court. I'm going to miss seeing you in the lobby.
Coop: Well, I'm going to the police academy. It isn't like I'm moving to China.
Maxie: I know, but how am I supposed to distract you on your breaks if you're all the way across town?
Coop: Well, I guess you'll have to wait till after work.
Maxie: I'm looking forward to it already.
Coop: Yeah, I better check in. See you on my break?
Maxie: You can count on it.
Coop: All right.
Coop: All right, it's my last day. Any final orders?
Max: Yeah, you know, I never liked having you work as a security guard in the place that you helped take us all hostage.
Coop: Yeah, and I'm making up for it by working undercover at the PCPD --
Max: Get the job done the way Sonny wants you to, all right? And you double-cross us, you're going to die.
Coop: Yeah. I survived Iraq, I can survive you.
Maxie: It's amazing how that uniform can look so good on Coop and so terrible on you.
Logan: Yeah, well, either the jacket doesn't fit me or I don't fit the job.
Maxie: Why would anyone trust you to keep something safe?
Logan: Beats the hell out of me -- I've never been good at safe.
Jax: You know, Jerry's been in trouble before. But this fiasco in Russia was by far the worst.
Carly: He was okay the last time you saw him, wasn't he?
Jax: I didn't actually see him.
Carly: You didn't see your brother?
Jax: No. I was always a couple of steps behind him. And we talked on the phone a couple of times when I could get reception, but Jerry just didn't feel the need to show his face.
Carly: You know, it's really hard to believe sometimes that you guys are from the same gene pool.
Jax: Hey, you know, we both love a challenge, we're good gamblers, we love games -- have a lot in common, you know -- except Jerry crosses the line every now and then.
Carly: He's a criminal.
Jax: That's not very nice. I wouldn't go that far.
[Carly laughs]
Jax: I mean, you know, his activities may be a little illegal sometimes in certain countries, you know?
Carly: And he's your brother and you love him.
Jax: Yeah. He's my only sibling. I really want him at our wedding.
Carly: Okay. If you want to cancel or postpone until your brother --
Jax: Oh, no, no --
Carly: Then we can do that.
Jax: No, that's not what I mean. No, no, I'll pull out all the stops to try to get Jerry here by the time we get married, but we're getting married on Friday regardless --
Carly: Yes!
Jax: If Jerry shows up. I'm sorry; I didn't mean to scare you.
Carly: I was hoping you'd say that.
Jax: I'm sorry.
Carly: Lulu. Hi!
Jax: Hi. How you doing?
Carly: Come, come, come. So, what do you think?
Lulu: Well, it's, you know, a little shabby, but, you know, if it's the best you guys can do -- I'm just kidding, it's great!
Jax: Oh, my God --
Carly: Don't do that anymore.
Jax: Yeah, we really like it. Well, I should probably go. Um, I'm sure you have wedding stuff to talk about. You know, I don't want to get asked to leave, so --
Carly: Oh.
Jax: Okay.
Carly: Bye.
Jax: Bye. Hi. Bye.
Lulu: Hi -- hi. Bye. Um -- uh, so, I was just Spinelli, and --
Carly: Oh, I wanted to talk to you about him.
Luke: I'm buying the next round if you left any for the rest of us.
Tracy: That's how all my troubles started. I let you buy me a drink in Las Vegas, and the next think I know, we're married. And look what's become of me, and I am a pathetic shell of my former self, defending your love of Laura Webber.
Luke: Oh, Tracy. Self pity -- that doesn't suit you. You know, not long ago, you were poisoning my martini and framing me for murder, and now look at you -- double-crossing Scott Baldwin to protect the woman I love. I'd say that's a tremendous self evolution on your part.
Tracy: Every time you open your mouth, you slip into a deeper abyss of dumb.
Luke: It was supposed to be a compliment.
Tracy: I should've followed my first instinct and let some nice criminal kidnap Laura. I should've divorced you. Oh, my goodness, I have a thousand "should'ves," none of them bigger than I never should've fallen in love with you. I need a drink. Freddy, Sandy -- whatever your name is -- give me another one.
Luke: Hold on, wife --
Tracy: Don't stop me!
Luke: Stop you -- me? Come on. I'll have what the lady's having -- three of them.
Noah: This hospital has a duty to treat any patient regardless of whether they have insurance or not.
Russell: I agree we can't turn away patients in need of critical emergency care. But if a patient can't pay, they need to be transferred or released as soon as possible.
Noah: With all due respect, Dr. Ford, your definition of "as soon as possible" borders on the inhumane.
Russell: We are a business as well as a hospital. If we can't pay staff and we can't maintain standards of patient care, then we'll be vulnerable to takeovers by HMOs like Medcam.
Monica: [don’t know] overtures to Alan and he turned them all down.
Russell: Alan was impractical. A hospital can't remain open if it can't break even. Now, there are difficult choices to be made if we are to assure the survival of General Hospital.
Noah: Oh -- that was cold.
Monica: Well --
Noah: Look, I'm sorry about what he said about Alan. That was --
Monica: No, that's all right. I mean, what he said wasn't very nice, but he did bring up some issues that we do have to consider.
Noah: Well, you're more tolerant than I am.
Monica: Hmm.
Emily: You okay, Mom?
Monica: Oh. Yeah. It's not just Ford, it's -- every moment I'm in this hospital reminds me of Alan.
Emily: I know.
Monica: Just one day at a time, take it one day at a time. It just doesn't -- it doesn't seem to be getting much easier.
Emily: Is there anything I can do to help?
Monica: Oh, just being here helps, sweetheart.
Robin: So I guess the issues over hospital policy are heating up.
Patrick: Yeah, actually, I have a bigger problem. Emily's asking if we're back together.
Amelia: You need to be realistic, Sam. If "Everyday Heroes" does as well as it's tracking, you could become a celebrity.
Sam: That is no reason to leave Jason.
Amelia: The last thing that you need is a public embarrassment for a boyfriend.
Sam: An embarrassment? I am not ashamed of him.
Amelia: The man gets arrested on a regular basis. Now, his life is dangerous. He gets shot at, and so do those around him.
Sam: Well, obviously, I can protect myself.
Amelia: Well, what about innocent bystanders? I could've died last night simply because someone wanted to send a message to Jason. Now, the show hasn't even started airing yet. What about next month or next year? Jason Morgan is a liability to you and to this show.
Sam: Look, I'll talk to him, okay?
Amelia: No, he can't guarantee anything and you know it.
Sam: Amelia, what else do you want me to do?
Amelia: I realize that you were in a hard place when you first got involved with Jason.
[Sam sighs]
Amelia: You were pregnant and you had nowhere else to go.
Sam: If you are implying -- ahem -- that I am with him out of gratitude, you are wrong. I love Jason.
Amelia: Things change. Your life has turned around, and you've been given an amazing opportunity, a once in a lifetime opportunity. Maybe it's time that you reevaluate your priorities.
Sam: Look, I am really sorry, but if you're asking me to choose between Jason and this show, I will choose Jason every single time.
Amelia: I'm sorry that you don't think better of yourself.
Carly: You know that we are planning this really big wedding -- family, friends -- so, obviously, I want to invite Max, which means I'm going to want to invite Milo.
Lulu: Oh, yeah, yeah, that's -- that's fine with me.
Carly: And he'll probably want to bring you as his date.
Lulu: I can’t. That wouldn't be fair to Dillon or Spinelli.
Carly: Oh, okay. We'll write that down. Do you want to bring one of them as your date?
Lulu: Why -- why do I even need a date? I just -- I just want to come and have fun with -- with you and Jax and celebrate the day.
Carly: Wow, did I hit a nerve?
Lulu: Dillon, Milo, and Spinelli are competing over me, and they have picked numbers to see who is going to go out with me first.
Carly: That -- that's cute.
Lulu: No, no, it's -- it's awful. I went out with Dillon. You know, he made this romantic bistro dinner at the overlook, complete with depressing French music where some woman was wailing like someone killed her cat, and I'm like, "What is this? This is supposed to be fun." It's --
Carly: That's awful. Did you leave?
Lulu: No! Guess who crashed the party -- Spinelli, on Jason's bike. And he fell, and -- because he can't ride a bike worth beans, so I had to take him back to Jason’s.
Carly: Oh, okay. So you're a little fed up with both of them?
Lulu: Dillon is -- he's a great guy, and so is -- is Spinelli and so is Milo. I just -- right now, I like them as friends, and I tell them that over and over and over, and they don't seem to understand that.
[Lulu sighs]
Carly: Can I say something without you ripping my head off?
Lulu: What?
Carly: Is it possible that you're not letting yourself feel anything more than friendship?
[Lulu chuckles]
Bobbie: Well, hello, hello, my two favorite girls in the whole world.
Carly: Hello! Hi!
Bobbie: If you and Jax are getting married on Friday, we have a lot of work to do.
Carly: Yes, we do.
Lulu: Um -- well, I'm going to go because I have something important to take care of.
Carly: Think about what I said, okay?
Lulu: Hmm.
Bobbie: So I want to congratulate you on your rather sudden upcoming marriage. But first there's something that I need to hear.
Carly: I don't want you to ask, okay?
Bobbie: Carly, I know you. Are you sure you are completely over Sonny?
Emily: Robin, I need you to be honest.
Robin: Emily, it's probably best for everyone if I don't discuss my relationship with Nikolas.
Emily: I just want the truth.
Robin: Look, I've always considered you a friend, and I am so grateful to you for operating on me and basically saving my life.
Emily: You don't have to keep thanking me.
Robin: Look, I know you're in love with Nikolas. But -- you probably expected to remarry him, but I am not proud of what happened, okay? If we get into it, we'll -- we'll say things that we regret.
Emily: If you love Nikolas so much, then why were you here in the locker room last night kissing Patrick?
Coop: All right, so every hour, on the hour, you need to walk and check the perimeter --
Logan: Yeah, and the exits and the stairwells and -- yeah, yeah, I got it.
Coop: Hey, you paying attention? Because this happens to be your job.
Logan: Look, I won't be here long, all right? I got better things on the horizon.
Jane: Have either of you seen Mr. Jacks?
Coop: No, ma'am, but if you'd like to have a seat, I'll check with the front desk and see if we can find him for you.
Jane: Thank you.
Maxie: You should be taking notes from Coop. He really knows how to treat the clientele.
Logan: I'm here to guard them, not wait on them.
Jax: I just came from the ballroom at Rice Manor. Carly's right -- it's an absolutely perfect spot for our wedding and reception.
Jane: Oh, I'm thrilled for you, Jax.
Jax: Thanks for expressing that to her, too, because she really wanted your approval.
Jane: Oh, I'm very fond of Carly. Why wouldn't I be? She reminds me of myself in so many ways.
Jax: Yeah, you two hit it off the first time you met.
Jane: We did. My only concern was her attachment to Sonny, but I can see she truly loves you, and that's all I want.
Jax: I'm really glad you're here.
Jane: Oh, I only wish that Jerry were here, too.
Jax: You know what? Why don't you call him again, because a little pressure from Mom couldn't hurt.
Jane: Good idea.
Jerry: [Speaks French]
[Phone rings]
Jerry: [Speaks French]
[Ring]
Jerry: Hi, Mom. Is Jax with you?
Jane: Yes. And we both would like to know why you are refusing to come to your only brother's wedding.
Jerry: It won't be the first, and I lay odds it won't be the last. Why can't you take no for an answer?
Amelia: You're poised to break out and have a career of something that you clearly love, and you're -- you're willing to throw that all away for your boyfriend?
Sam: If you force me to make a choice, yes.
Amelia: I see. So you want to spare Jason the inconvenience of having a career of your own?
Sam: No, Jason has never been anything but supportive.
Amelia: Really?
Sam: Yes, really. Jason has always encouraged me to make my own choices. He is happy I found something I love, and he is proud that I'm good at it.
Amelia: Okay, so what's the problem? Why are you willing to bail? Is Jason your excuse for not wanting to succeed?
Sam: Jason and I are making adjustments. Look, this is all really, really new to me. I -- I don't even recognize my life anymore, it's changed so much.
Amelia: Oh, the changes are for the good.
Sam: Yeah, mostly. But I'm not leaving Jason, and I really don't appreciate you implying that he's not good for my career.
Amelia: Oh, I'm simply stating the facts. A gangster is not the ideal boyfriend for a personality. Now, if you can make that work, more power to you.
Lulu: Hey.
Milo: Lulu. Can I treat you to a latte?
Lulu: Oh -- uh -- no, thank you. Actually, I was -- I was just with Carly, who is getting married on Friday, and --
Milo: Wow. She and Jax aren't wasting any time.
Lulu: No, no, they're not, and -- anyway, she was making up the guest list, and you're invited, so I was thinking that --
Milo: Yes, I -- I'd love to be your date.
Lulu: Well, that's -- actually, I was --
Milo: We'll have the most amazing time. I'll -- I'll even dance if you want.
Lulu: You'll -- you'll dance?
Milo: Mm-hmm, I'll dance. I -- I take a little ballroom dancing, but -- I foxtrot. The waltz?
Lulu: Oh -- ha!
Milo: The rumba?
Lulu: Okay.
Milo: The teacher says I'm a natural, but --
Dillon: Milo's taking you dancing for your --
Milo: Yeah. Mm-hmm. I actually -- I happen to be Lulu's date for Carly and Jax's wedding Friday.
Dillon: You're taking him?
Lulu: Well, I -- actually, I was --
Milo: No, Lulu just came here to say that we're both invited; she'd like me to escort her.
Lulu: Well, that's not exactly --
Dillon: Well, all right, fine, but that's going to count as your date, though.
Lulu: It's not a "date" date, it's my cousin's wedding.
Milo: Uh-uh.
Dillon: Okay, if it's your cousin's wedding, then you should be going with family, which, technically, would be me.
[Milo sighs]
Tracy: You could've found another way to break my spirit and rob me blind. You didn't have to resort to matrimony.
Luke: If you're expecting me to apologize for marrying you, get over it. That'll never happen. I was on my own losing streak back then. Ah. Laura was gone, those bloody kids -- they both hated me -- my thing with Skye was coming to an end, and I was about this close to ending what was left of my miserable life.
Tracy: Gee, you're hot when you whine. Welcome to the club. Give me a drink.
Luke: Well, just a little, now, just a little.
Luke: Oh, man. I thought marrying you would be good for a few laughs, and maybe a nice, big alimony check or a buyout in the end.
Tracy: And they said it wouldn't last. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
Luke: Who knew? Who knew that you would change my life? You know, marrying you was just a cheesy little scam. And it turned out to be probably the smartest thing I ever did.
Carly: Do you want me to marry Jax or not? You know, make up your mind.
Bobbie: I mean, of course I want you to marry Jax because he's a wonderful man, and I'm sure he's going to make you very happy. But, honey, the only opinion that really matters is your own. So listen to your heart, and do what's right for you.
Carly: I am!
Bobbie: Are you sure? This isn't just a reaction to Sonny, just a way to keep you from being pulled in all over again?
Carly: Look, Sonny and I are always going to be a part of each other's lives, but we cannot be together and we made peace with that, okay? It's fine.
Bobbie: No regrets?
Carly: I am sad, okay? Sonny and I were everything to each other -- we were lovers, we were best friends, we were husband and wife, parents to our kids -- and no one's ever going to replace Sonny. He -- he is unique in my life. But I have no regrets and I have no doubts, because I have finally found a man who is right for me, and he loves me and accepts me for who I am. So marrying Jax is the best decision and it's the right decision, and I am sure of it.
Robin: Patrick and I were here last night, but you must've misinterpreted what you saw.
Emily: Robin, I didn't imagine the kiss.
Robin: Okay. I didn't want to -- Patrick wants me back, and he tried to kiss me, but I pushed him away.
Emily: Look, you have obviously reconciled, and for some reason you're going to great lengths to hide it. Why?
Robin: No, I'm not hiding anything.
Emily: Are you cheating behind Nikolas' back, huh? Is he in on the deception?
Robin: Do you want me to say it? Patrick is devastated that I left him, okay, and I feel really bad for him because I obviously still care about him a lot, but that doesn't mean that I want to be with him.
Emily: That's not what it looked like.
Robin: Listen, I'm really sorry that you lost Nikolas, but you have to accept it. And as a favor to Patrick, please don't tell anyone what you saw.
Jerry: I -- I know I'm a disgrace, but I -- I'm sorry, it can't be helped.
Jane: Jerry, the wedding is on Friday in the ballroom of Rice Manor in Port Charles.
Jerry: But I'm -- I'm quite a long ways away.
Jane: When you were in trouble in Russia, your brother hopped on a plane immediately -- the latest in a long line of rescues, I might add. The least you can do is show up at Jax's wedding.
Jerry: Bloody hell, you're relentless.
Jane: Have I worn you down?
Jerry: No, no. You know what? I'm genuinely sorry to disappoint you, but I'm at a crucial part of this current project and, you know, it could literally be fatal for me. Imagine what an inconvenience that would be.
Jane: Your life is always in crisis. Set it aside for a day or two and come to the wedding.
Jerry: Business calls. Talk soon. Bye. Do you know it's bad manners to eavesdrop?
Nikolas: It took me a moment to realize that was you on the phone. The tone in your voice was almost unrecognizable.
Jerry: They say it's very helpful to be versatile in my business -- you know, different hats for different occasions.
Nikolas: Oh, yes. Well, that particular hat sounded personal.
Jerry: Why don't you put your curiosity to rest and stop asking questions -- if you don't want me to withhold the counteragent tonight and see you writhing in pain?
Milo: Nice try, but Lulu's going to the wedding with me.
Dillon: Well, we are related on the bride's side, so I think I would be expected to take her, don't you?
Lulu: Okay, I care about you both, and -- and, Milo, I like you as a friend --
Dillon: Oh, wow! You hear that, muscle man? She said "friend."
Milo: Hmm -- did you hear that? She's your stepsister.
Dillon: Well, we aren't genetically related, guns, so -- by the way, I resent the whole notion that I'm somehow not allowed to care about Lulu.
Lulu: Okay, okay, okay, I want to be fair, so if I'm going to go to the wedding with you, then I'm going to go with you, and I'm going to go with Spinelli. Dillon and
Milo: Not Spinelli.
Lulu: Yeah, well, it's all or none. That's my final offer.
Milo: Not Spinelli.
Carly: Jason?
Spinelli: Ah -- greetings, Valkyrie. Thank you so much for coming over -- much wisdom is needed.
Carly: Oh, it's an emotional time, isn't it?
Spinelli: Well, yes, and, you know, the Jackal just wants to do the right thing, as does the Blond One, and --
Carly: That's so mature of you, Spinelli.
Spinelli: Well, thank you. I mean, you know, Lulu talked to you because, you know, she values the Valkyrie's opinions --
Carly: Okay, what is it with this whole Valkyrie thing?
Spinelli: Well, it's the highest of compliments.
Carly: See, I'm not sure if I like being compared to a woman wearing a breastplate and a winged helmet.
Spinelli: But it would be so hot -- and I -- I say that with the -- the utmost respect. You are -- you are fearless, you are powerful. I mean, only -- I mean, only you can anger Stone Cold and walk away unscathed. I mean, you are the epitome of an immortal warrior babe.
Carly: Okay, let's get back to Lulu, okay? I had a really long talk with her, and she knows exactly what she's supposed to do.
Spinelli: Okay, but it's -- I mean, it's not Lulu you're -- you have to talk to, it's Stone Cold.
Carly: Why would I tell Jason who Lulu is bringing as a date to my wedding?
Spinelli: Yes, yes. You -- Jackal sees your point.
Carly: Unless there's something else I'm supposed to tell Jason?
Logan: And the same two guests have been sitting in sector four since 12:15.
Coop: Yeah, well, you got the job down cold, huh?
Logan: Well, it's kind of kindergarten play after duty in Iraq.
Coop: Yeah, where you kept yourself busy with the black market and any other scam you could work.
Logan: It kept life interesting.
Coop: Yeah, well, do yourself a favor and settle for boredom at the Metro Court.
Logan: You know what your problem is, Voop? You have never had any ambition.
Coop: Hey, I'm joining the police academy, aren't I?
Logan: And, you know, I still can't figure out where that came from, because in all the years that I have known you, you've never once mentioned anything about wanting to be a cop.
Coop: Yeah, well, I'm finally growing up, huh?
Logan: Not likely.
Coop: I'm heading out.
Max: Do a good job at the PCPD. I want you to play it exactly the way Sonny wants you to, or -- well, I don't have to tell you.
Coop: Yeah, I'm clear on the assignment.
Max: Good.
Maxie: Good news -- I got the rest of the afternoon off, and since you start at the police academy tomorrow, I think we should go celebrate.
Coop: Hmm. What do you want to do?
Maxie: We'll make it up as we go along.
Max: Keep your eye on the lobby.
Logan: I got it covered.
Max: Look, spare me the attitude, all right, Hayes? I'm your supervisor.
Logan: Sonny Corinthos got me this job. It is only a matter of time until he moves me into his organization.
[Max snickers]
Max: Ahem.
Jane: Oh, Jax! This ballroom is splendid! What an ideal spot for the ceremony.
Jax: We're having the reception here, as well.
Jane: Oh, well, you have a lot to plan in a very short while -- you and Carly have your work cut out for you.
Jax: Well, we were supposed to be married last November, but we gave our wedding away to Luke and Laura. And then I had to postpone New Year’s Eve because I had to go chasing after Jerry again. So this time, Carly and I come first. We're going to get married on Friday, and nothing is going to stand in our way.
Nikolas: You know how important you are to me, hmm? You know how much I love you? Yeah? Yeah?
Emily: Looks like I chose the perfect time to visit.
Nikolas: Emily -- you can't be here.
Emily: Well, I am here, Nikolas, and I'm not leaving until you tell me the truth.
Sam: Most accidents can be avoided by maintaining your car and following the basic rules of safety. Today we're going to be talking to a mechanic on how to care for your own vehicle, and a member of the highway patrol will give us tips on driving -- man: She's really selling this.
Amelia: Sam loves being a star, just like I knew she would.
Sam: If the worst happens -- how to get clear of a damaged vehicle, and how to care for an injured passenger. Ladies, take it from me, you don't ever have to feel helpless again.
Nikolas: Emily --
Emily: Is Spencer settled in for his nap?
Nikolas: You said you would leave.
Emily: I couldn't, Nikolas.
Nikolas: Look, I know this is hard for you to hear, but I told you I'm with Robin --
Emily: No, Robin's back with Patrick, I saw them kissing in the hospital locker room.
Nikolas: No -- no, not another word of that, not here.
Emily: I know you're trying to protect me. What's going on?
Carly: Okay, Jason's my best friend, so if something's going on with him, I really need to know.
Spinelli: Stone Cold is just processing some parent/child data.
Carly: I know.
Spinelli: You do?
Carly: Yes -- he was blindsided by Alan’s death. They hadn't spoken in 10 years; he's wracked with guilt, which is driving me crazy because Alan’s the one who drove him away. Just don't let me get started. You know, it's the whole parent/child relationship thing.
Lulu: Uh -- uh -- what about parents and -- and children?
Spinelli: We were just, you know, dialoging about Stone Cold and his dearly departed dad.
Carly: Spinelli's worried that Jason's taking his father's death so hard.
Lulu: Yeah, yeah, I've -- I've noticed that, too.
Carly: Yeah. Don't push him, okay? You guys, don't push him. Jason needs to deal with his pain alone, and the one thing I've learned from this long relationship with Jason -- the more you push, the more he pulls away.
Lulu: That's -- that's good to know.
Spinelli: Yeah, most surely. I mean, I -- I knew the -- the Valkyrie -- um, Carly would have some good advice.
Lulu: Um -- so, do you -- do you have any other suggestions on -- on what we can do for Jason?
Carly: Distract him -- that's what I'm going to do. He's going to be the best person in my wedding, so I brought over the tux. All he has to do is show up, so will you please tell him to call me as soon as he tries it on?
Spinelli: Yes, I will relay the message when he returns from his trip.
Carly: What trip?
Spinelli: Stone Cold took to the open road on his motorcycle.
Carly: When's he coming back?
Spinelli: He didn't say.
Carly: I have to find him. I can't get married without Jason!
Jane: I am so happy for you, Jax.
Jax: Thanks, Mom. I know that my matrimonial track record hasn't exactly been that great.
Jane: I have no doubts whatsoever. I know you and Carly will have a wonderful life together. I only wish your father could be here to join in the celebration.
Jax: He'll be here in spirit. I know that he would've adored Carly. And he'd be really happy that I -- that I found someone to spend the rest of my life with, you know?
Jane: Your father's absence is all the more reason Jerry should join us! You know, I could wring his neck that he couldn't find the time to come.
Jax: Yeah, well, Jerry's Jerry, you know? No one's ever going to change him.
Jane: Oh, true. But I know how much you were counting on your brother.
Jax: I'm sure Jerry's wishing me well, you know, wherever he is.
[Jax sighs]
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Jane: As much as I love Jerry, it's heartbreaking to me that nothing matters to him.
Nikolas: I don't love you anymore.
Carly: I cannot believe he did this to me. After everything we said, you try and ruin my wedding.
