Jax: You sure I can't offer you a glass of champagne?
Rachel: I am just amazed that you're even talking to me after all the horrible things I've done.
Jax: A.J. Quartermaine brings out the worst in almost everyone, especially women.
Courtney: You know, if you're trying to hurt me, it's working.
Rachel: Look, I just ended up here --
Courtney: No, I'm not talking about you, Rachel. I mean you, Jax.
Alexis: I don't want our marriage to end, either.
Ric: Then don't let it.
Alexis: You compromised my daughter's well-being. You compromised her safety. You chose Sonny over her.
Ric: I chose Michael.
Alexis: Having Michael subpoenaed was a terrible thing, but he was able to manage.
Ric: Sonny did not kill A.J. Quartermaine. Neither did Carly. It was Michael.
Carly: Michael wants to celebrate in the park and then at Kelly’s. He'd like for you to join us. What should I tell him?
Sonny: Is that your excuse for barging in here, Carly?
Carly: I didn't know you were entertaining.
Sonny: The hell you didn't!
Carly: Ok, fine. I did, and it's disgusting.
Jax: Why on earth would I want to hurt you?
Courtney: Did you invite Rachel to dinner?
Rachel: Look, I was meeting a colleague, I swear. We just ran into each other.
Jax: I was just about to call you.
Rachel: My friend just got here. Thank you for everything you said, and I'm sorry if I messed anything up.
Jax: It's ok.
Courtney: I'm sorry for overreacting.
Jax: I know Rachel’s not your favorite person.
Courtney: She's not yours, either.
Jax: No, she's not my favorite person, but I also believe that -- I also believe that A.J. had her so twisted, she didn't really know what she was doing.
Courtney: Well, now that Sonny was acquitted, we can forget about A.J.
Jax: I wish we could say the same about Sonny.
Courtney: What is that supposed to mean?
Jax: That's why I asked you here. I wanted to talk to you. I wanted to discuss your family and how big a part or how small a part they're going to play in our lives.
Courtney: Wait. Are you asking me to choose you over my family?
Michael: Mike, Mike, Mike!
Mike: Hey! Hey, are you to celebrate Sonny's acquittal?
Michael: You know?
Mike: Of course I do.
Michael: I'm here to apologize for running out on you and Grandma Bobbie.
Mike: Oh, that's past history. Don't give it another thought.
Michael: I just wanted to tell everyone that dad did not do it.
Jason: Michael, what sounds good?
Mike: Listen, it just so happens I have those chocolate-chip cookies you like.
Michael: I can have all of them?
Mike: All of them? Of course. Why not? It's a special day.
Michael: Thank you, Grandpa Mike!
Sam: Don't eat them all.
Michael: Later. I'm going to eat all of them.
Jason: Mike, you think we can get a couple milks?
Mike: You got it.
Jason: Here.
Sam: Me?
Jason: Yeah. Might as well learn now.
Sam: Hi.
Mike: So, listen, you think they'll ever find out who really killed A.J.?
Sam: I hope not. Michael doesn't need to go through this again, that's for sure. Oh, you want to go to your brother?
Georgie: What, is it a crime to be happy all of a sudden?
Dillon: I don't know. I destroyed my film career today.
Brook Lynn: I just had a major fight with Diego.
Georgie: Ok, I'm sorry, really but, you guys, Maxie’s coming home today.
Dillon: That's why you're happy?
Georgie: Yes, yes, that's why I'm happy. You guys, Maxie’s been away at prep school. I want to see what she's like.
Diego: Maxie. That's a different name.
Maxie: It's short for Maximilliana.
Diego: Ok, Maxie, short for Maximilliana, you want to go for a ride?
Maxie: Did I mention to you yet that my dad's the police commissioner?
Diego: You're Georgie’s sister.
Maxie: Is that a problem?
Jason: Ok, look, we need to get clear on something, ok?
Michael: Ok.
Jason: Ok. It's about what happened to A.J. Now, you can talk to me about it, you can talk to your mom, you can talk to your dad, but don't say anything to anybody else, not without our permission, ok? It's just the best thing for everyone. Can you promise me that you're not going to say anything?
Michael: I won’t.
Jason: Good. A.J.'s gone. The cops are going to close the file, they're going to forget about him, and this is all going to be over.
Alexis: Michael killed his own father?
Ric: Yeah, he did it because he thought he was protecting Kristina and Morgan.
Alexis: Then he's aware of what he's done?
Ric: He wasn't at first but, yes.
Alexis: Oh --
Ric: I figured it out a while ago. I tried to put together a deal, but Sonny wouldn't go for it, didn't want Michael labeled a killer.
Alexis: Oh, my God. So he came to court to confess?
Ric: I don't know. Maybe he just showed up to tell the jury that his father was innocent. But if Durant had continued to question him, he would've admitted the truth.
Alexis: So you needed to get him off the stand.
Ric: Yeah. I think that little boy's suffered enough, don't you?
Alexis: And while I was busy issuing ultimatums --
Ric: I was trying to save Michael.
Alexis: Why didn't you just tell me? Why didn't you just tell me what was really going on?
Carly: What was I thinking? Why would you want to go to the park and celebrate with your family when you could be rolling around in bed with an F.B.I. agent?
Sonny: First of all, I didn't know my family was in the house. Jason told me he took you guys all to the park.
Carly: Oh, right, yeah.
Sonny: So I don't know what you want.
Carly: So what should I tell Michael? "Gee, honey, I don't know, the F.B.I. got him"? It's a power thing, by the way. He's just doing you because he can and to get back at me.
Sonny: Don't flatter yourself, Carly.
Carly: We all know it's true and, hey, it's fine. Whatever. You want to go to bed with a man on those terms, hey, knock yourself out.
Sonny: Why don't you just admit? Why don't you just admit that you're jealous?
Carly: Of your latest bed buddy? I don't think so. No, you know, you know what? You -- you mean nothing to him. You get that, right? You could be anyone. He's just doing you to push me away. You're interchangeable with Sam and who knows how many --
Sonny: Carly, that's enough! Reese is a guest in my house.
Carly: I think we're all pretty clear on that.
Sonny: Ok, you need to respect her, ok, because she helped bring Michael home.
Carly: Ok, Michael would never have been taken in the first place if she'd just been doing her job instead of trying to drag you into bed.
Reese: All right, wait a second.
Carly: Ok, whatever. You feel like you owe her a round of mattress tag? Go ahead, pay up. No one ever said Sonny Corinthos doesn't pay his debts.
Reese: I stayed on this case for Michael.
Carly: Ok, you stayed on this case to get where you are right now, so enjoy yourself. God knows you've been working hard enough to get there. Just don't kid yourself that you mean anything. Sonny's sleeping with you to get back at me.
Sonny: Where's Alcazar, anyway? Because you know what, he'd love to be celebrating with us right now, wouldn't he?
Carly: Lorenzo respects my family, which is more than I can say for you.
Sonny: Ok --
Carly: Crawling into bed with this bimbo while our kids are in the house?
Sonny: Who else would barge into my room with the door closed? You! You're the only one. To prove what? Our marriage is over. You know what, hey, I'm moving on. You should move on. That's the way it should be.
Carly: Oh, ok, except for when you feel like dragging me back in. What, you jerking me around for the fun of it? Is that what our dinner was about, the home-cooked meal?
Sonny: I was saying goodbye, ok, and I'm sorry that you misunderstood.
Carly: Let me tell you what I understand, Sonny. You want me even when you wish you didn’t. You want me right now, and you're sleeping with Reese to stop yourself from turning to me. But don't flatter yourself. I wouldn't have you back if you came crawling on your knees. So enjoy your consolation prize. She'll never be enough. You know it, and now she knows it, too.
Ric: I wanted to tell you about Michael. I just wasn't sure whether I could risk it.
Alexis: You thought I would use something like that against Sonny? You thought I would tell John Durant?
Ric: You tell me.
Alexis: I would never do anything like that. I would never hurt a little boy, and I would expect you to understand that about me.
Ric: Alexis, people get angry; they do things that they would never imagine themselves doing. Michael had no intention to walk into A.J.'s hospital room. All he wanted to do was put the pillow over A.J.'s face to shut him up.
Alexis: Oh, God.
Ric: Michael's not a danger to Kristina or anybody else. He's a little boy who's been traumatized over and over again. A.J.'s death was not premeditated. It was -- it was an accident. And Sonny was willing to go to prison to keep that secret; to protect Michael. I couldn't let that happen, not because I'm -- not because I'm Sonny's brother, but because he's Michael’s father. And that little boy has lost so much already. I couldn't let him lose Sonny, too.
Alexis: Why didn't you just tell me? Why didn't you just trust me just a little bit? I would've helped you.
Ric: Trusting you now.
Alexis: Good. Good. So we have a fighting chance?
Jax: I need to know that our new life together will take priority over Carly and Sonny's constant drama.
Courtney: Jax, we do not all get to grow up with our family. I just found mine. You can't expect me to walk away from them.
Jax: Of course not. It's the perfect excuse not to marry me.
Courtney: I couldn't ignore a subpoena.
Jax: You wanted to postpone the wedding before you got called to testify.
Courtney: Oh, really?
Jax: Yeah.
Courtney: And when was that, Jax? When? When Michael was kidnapped? When we thought he was dead? When it looked like my best friend killed my ex-husband? Or when your best buddy Rachel over there tried to frame me for murder? Call me disorganized, Jax, but I just haven't had the time to think about wedding plans.
Jax: You know what, this is exactly the constant drama that I'm talking about. All I'm asking you is to consider where I fit in on your list of priorities!
Courtney: No, you know what, I am grateful for Sonny's trial. I am. I'm grateful for it because it made me realize what a disaster our marriage would've been before I got stuck in it.
Michael: Here you go, Morgan.
Sam: Wow.
Mike: Well, that's very generous of you.
Michael: Jason wants me to share with my brother.
Mike: Well, he's right.
Sam: That's good.
Michael: Kristina and Morgan depend on me.
Sam: You know, Jason is so good with him.
Mike: He always has been.
Sam: He is going to be a wonderful father someday.
Diego: Yeah, I know Georgie, sure.
Maxie: You say that like you've gone out with her or something.
Diego: No, not at all.
Maxie: So you guys are just, like, what, close friends?
Diego: Georgie never told me how beautiful her sister is.
Maxie: Are you flirting with me?
Diego: I'm just telling the truth.
Maxie: All right, Mr. Honesty, where's your car?
Diego: The parking lot.
Maxie: Are you a safe driver?
Diego: The safest. Never even had a ticket.
Maxie: Ok, I'll tell you what, I take one look at your car and then maybe I let you take me for a ride.
Brook Lynn: Hey, come on, granny's totally going to change her mind. She's going to calm down --
Georgie: Oh, I seriously doubt that.
Dillon: The thing is I don't have time to let her calm down. I mean, I got to get that check in by the end of this week. I've got it. I've got it right here. I just need her to sign it. I probably should've asked her before I completely betrayed her.
Brook Lynn: Dillon?
Dillon: Yeah?
Brook Lynn: Hey, what are you freaking out about, ok? All you need is somebody who can forge a signature.
Dillon: Hmm. Didn't you used to fill out Maxie’s report cards; sign your mom's name on them for her in school?
Georgie: Well, yeah, but that was --
Brook Lynn: Uh-uh, uh-uh. Look, Dillon’s saved, all right? Look, I even have a pen. Here you go.
Georgie: No, no.
Brook Lynn: Come on.
Georgie: Stop, I can’t.
Jason: All right, we need to get going. I think Morgan’s ready for a nap, and you need to stop eating so many cookies.
Michael: Well, guess what mom said.
Jason: What?
Michael: She'll find dad and meet us here.
Jason: I think they got delayed.
Michael: Or maybe they're just making up. When we get home, they're going to tell us that they're getting back together again.
Jason: Buddy, you know, I don't want you to get your hopes up.
Michael: Mom and dad love each other.
Jason: It's complicated, ok? But you're right, your mom and dad, they do love each other. And they really love you and they really love Morgan, but they -- they can't be married anymore. And I know they've explained this to you already. I'm sorry, nothing's changed. Your parents -- they're not going to get back together.
Sonny: Hey. You don't have to leave.
Reese: I know.
Sonny: Then stay. Forget -- forget Carly.
Reese: I will if you will. That's what I thought.
Sonny: You know what? Carly was completely out of line.
Reese: I totally agree. But we both know Carly’s right.
Alexis: We have obviously been through some difficult things and we have both said things and done things that the other one doesn't understand, and we can either keep pushing against each other or we can try to push past it. I want us to try to put our lives together somehow and to understand what we have, and we have a lot. I think that we should try to create the families that you and I have both always wanted and needed. And I miss you. I do, I do, and I want you to come home.
Ric: I can’t.
Brook Lynn: Wait, so did you honestly forget that if you sign the check, Dillon can go to film school?
Dillon: Listen to me, ok -- if I forfeit my chance to go to school this year, there is no guarantee that I'm going to get to go next year or any year after that. This is the best school in the country for this kind of thing, and the admissions are incredibly competitive and I am the least desirable demographic. This is my one chance. This is it.
Georgie: No, no, Dillon, Dillon, no. If I forge a name on a check, I will go to jail -- to jail.
Dillon: No, you're not going to go to jail because even if you got caught, I would say that --
Georgie: Dillon, I don't want you to go! I'm sorry, Dillon, it's just it's going to be all the way in California, and I'm really going to miss you, and no matter what you say, you're going to change. You're going to find somebody else and --
Dillon: Georgie, I love you with all of my heart. I'm not going to forget you that easily.
Georgie: Ok.
Dillon: "Ok," what? "Ok," you'll do it?
Georgie: Yeah, yeah.
Dillon: Seriously?
Georgie: Seriously, no, just give me something with your mom's signature on it.
Dillon: Ok. You are the best. Do you know that? I love you. I love you! Wait.
Brook Lynn: What, wrong color pen? What's going on?
Dillon: No, I don't need a different color pen. You know what I need? Courage, strength. I need to be a man about this whole thing, that's what I need, because it is wrong to forge a check, and it's even wronger for me to ask you to forge a check. This is all my mom's fault, and I'm not going to live in Port Charles for the rest of my life because of her. You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to march back to the house right now and I'm going to tell her how I feel. I'm going to make her sign that check. That's what I'm going to do.
Brook Lynn: Yeah, good luck with that.
Georgie: Dillon, I will go with you.
Dillon: No. This is between me and her, mano y mami. Wish me luck.
Brook Lynn: That was dramatic.
Georgie: No, no, it -- it was great, and I'm pathetic.
Brook Lynn: No, Georgie, you're not pathetic, ok? You're just afraid of losing Dillon to a different life. And I get it, I really do, because that's the same way I feel about losing Diego.
Carly: Is Jason in there?
Courtney: Hey, Mike said that he left with Sam and the kids. What's -- what's up?
Carly: Why would Sonny want to celebrate with us? I mean, why? Why should he care about his family, his kids, and his ex-wife?
Courtney: Carly, what happened?
Carly: I, uh -- I caught Sonny in bed with Reese.
Courtney: Wow. Well, if it makes you feel any better, I caught Jax having champagne with Rachel.
Carly: Ugh. Men.
Courtney: Exactly.
Carly: Why do we even bother? It's not worth the hassle. We should all be celebrating, except we're standing in front of some diner with a takeout bag. I want chocolate.
Courtney: I have brownies.
Carly: No! You are an angel sent straight from heaven. Oh, my God.
Courtney: Good, huh?
Carly: Mmm.
Courtney: So Jax thinks that I spend too much time with my family. Can you believe that? What is that?
Carly: Tell him to cancel the wedding. Tell him you just realize it's not going to work.
Courtney: But I love him.
Carly: More than Jason? You guys could totally get back together if you really tried.
Courtney: Carly, at some point, you are going to have to let go. I have. Why can't you?
Sonny: Hey, I don't like you to leave this way. I mean --
Reese: Sonny, I'm not angry.
Sonny: You're not happy, either, so --
Reese: Because I've realized that obviously you and I aren't meant to be together.
Sonny: Don't let Carly ruin this.
Reese: Carly didn't tell me anything that I didn't already know.
Sonny: Carly knows how to hit you where it hurts, all right? Doesn't mean what comes out of her mouth is the truth. I mean, I want you for you, ok? I'm not trying to get back at Carly. I'm not -- there's no other agenda beyond I like you.
Reese: You don't even see it. You and Carly are tied together. The way that you two argue, it's -- it's passionate. And I was embarrassed to be in the same room with you because it was like you and Carly were making love.
Alexis: Please, wait, Ric, please.
Ric: I thought I could do this; I really did. But now that you've agreed to it, I realize that it's just not going to work.
Alexis: Why -- why not?
Ric: Well, nothing's changed, Alexis. Sonny's still in the picture. You know, he's going to come after Kristina now more than ever, with a vengeance.
Alexis: So we'll handle it. The two of us will handle it.
Ric: Alexis, I've wasted so many years of my life fighting Sonny. When I finally had the opportunity to win, I let him go. You're going to tell me years from now you're not going to blame me for that?
Alexis: If you had just told me the truth about Michael --
Ric: Alexis, it wouldn't have mattered.
Alexis: Yes, it would have.
Ric: It would have mattered, really?
Alexis: It would've mattered.
Ric: When Sonny was right there, we had the opportunity to put him away safely, lock him away from Kristina, right in front of you.
Alexis: Where's all this self-righteousness coming from? You act as if you've never done anything to compromise yourself.
Ric: No, no, that is not my intention, really. I have been a bastard. I have used people, I've used you. I almost lost my mind where my brother is concerned. But I am tired of it all. We just -- we need to end this now, ok, before Kristina gets caught in the middle of the whole crossfire; just end it while we still care. Just walk away. Walk away before we hate each other.
Alexis: Walk away? You're going to walk away? I'm pregnant. I mean, we're -- we're married. Doesn't that mean anything?
Ric: Alexis, don't you see, you can't have it both ways, all right? You can't tell me that you're going to take our child and you're going to leave, and then all of a sudden I choose to do it and you're upset.
Alexis: I get it, I get it!
Ric: You can't go to London --
Alexis: I won't! I agree with you!
Ric: Look, please, we -- we can't do this. We're going to wind up destroying each other. Now, look, I put some feelers out to my old firm in Manhattan. I think that's where I'm going to go.
Alexis: You're leaving town?
Ric: John Durant’s going to make sure that I'm no longer the D.A. here.
Alexis: So this is about your job?
Ric: No, it's not about my job, Alexis. I want to make sure that this child grows up with a father; I want to make sure that they are taken care of, but I can't, I can't get in the middle of another fight of you versus Sonny. I understand. Believe me, I understand why you can't compromise, I understand why he can't compromise, but the thing that I cannot understand, Alexis, is why you both don't see what you are doing to your child.
Alexis: And you have to understand that that's my battle, it's my fight.
Ric: Shh, shh, shh. I can't fight anymore.
Alexis: Ple-- please don't go?
Ric: We lasted longer than I thought we would.
Sonny: I don't know if you know this, but Carly and I, we were a mistake. From the start, I actually hated her when I first saw her.
Reese: Doubt it.
Sonny: No, I'm serious. She was terrible to Jason; she was terrible to Michael. She used that kid to get whatever she wanted.
Reese: Well, clearly, your opinion changed somewhere down the line.
Sonny: Well, I mean, you know, Carly saw me at my worst, you know? She never backed down, she was always there, and she -- things happened, you know, and we learned to trust each other, but now we have kids, ok, and we cost too much. We hurt each other; we hurt our kids. You know, we're just better off apart.
Reese: You're in love with Carly.
Sonny: Well, I don't know about being in love. I mean, you know, that doesn't mean I want to spend the rest of my life with her.
Reese: But you will. Maybe not in the same house or even in the same country, but Carly will always be with you, Sonny.
Sonny: Carly and I are over, Reese. I don't know what else you want me to say.
Reese: So are you and I. I'm going back to Washington and I'm going to get reassigned. I am so happy you're free and so happy that you have all your children back. You just make sure Michael gets into therapy as soon as he can, ok?
Sonny: You can help me with Michael. I mean --
Reese: That is not playing fair, Sonny.
Sonny: I never claimed to be fair. Hey.
Michael: Hey, where were you? We were waiting for you.
Sonny: Yeah, I'm sorry, I couldn't really make it, you know? I'm sorry, bud.
Michael: Here. It's ok.
Sonny: Yeah?
Michael: I brought you a cookie from Grandpa Mike.
Sonny: Yeah?
Michael: He made a ton of them, which were delicious.
Sonny: All right! And what about you, Morgan? Here, take my cookie, take my cookie. Did you have a good time, buddy? Did you have a good time?
Sam: Yeah, I think he did. He fell asleep on the way home.
Sonny: Did you share with him? Because I know how you can be sometimes.
Michael: No, I didn’t. Of course I did!
Sonny: Let's go sit. All right! Such a big boy.
Carly: Do you have any idea how happy I would be if you and Jason got back together?
Courtney: Yeah, you mentioned it.
Carly: All I do is trip over Sam and Jax. But if you guys get back together again --
Courtney: Oh, my God, Carly, it's not going to happen.
Carly: Tell me, why does Jax want to keep you away from the family?
Courtney: Because you know how Jax feels about Sonny. He's just worried that, you know, I'm going to spend all my time getting caught up in whatever crisis is happening and neglect the marriage.
Carly: Translation -- Jax wants you to pay attention to him and no one else.
Courtney: I wouldn't go that far.
Carly: Courtney, you have to be realistic. Family's important to you. If it's not important to him, he's not the husband for you.
Courtney: Carly, I love Jax. I want to try and find a way to make it work.
Jax: That's funny. I was about to tell you the same thing.
Brook Lynn: I completely overreacted today. I did. I mean, I looked up and there was this stranger, you know, this really rich, very hot stranger that girls are going to be falling all over, and I just didn't want to get hurt, you know, so I pushed him away before he could dump me.
Georgie: Makes sense, unfortunately.
Brook Lynn: Yeah. I just don't know what to do anymore.
Georgie: Well, Brook, why don't you tell him how you feel?
Brook Lynn: Are you kidding me?
Georgie: Yeah.
Brook Lynn: No, I would be talking to him, I'd get embarrassed, and I'd freak. No, that would be the end.
Georgie: Then write it down, maybe in a letter.
Brook Lynn: Hey. Yeah, that might work.
Reese: Double bourbon straight up, please?
Ric: Oh, a woman after my own heart.
Reese: What are you doing here?
Ric: You can well imagine. So can I.
Reese: To getting out, then. Better late than never.
Ric: In case, losing everything else.
Reese: Bartender?
Ric: Oh, why bother, Reese? I don't think there's enough booze in the whole world to help either one of us.
Courtney: Sorry I stormed out on you.
Jax: Sorry you're upset.
Courtney: I had to postpone the wedding, Jax. I had no choice. You understand that, right?
Jax: Yeah, just you're making the whole thing sound like it's a chore. This is our future. It's supposed to be fun.
Courtney: Life isn't always fun, Jax. I mean, come on, my life is filled with real people, not numbers on a computer screen or some assistant who does whatever I tell her to. Real people can be inconvenient. They can. They can be selfish and high-maintenance and take up a lot of time. It's just the way it is.
Jax: Am I a real person to you?
Courtney: Yes. Jax, I love you. But I love my family, too.
Jax: Do you think you'll be able to love us both?
Courtney: If you give me some room, yes.
Jax: That is all I've been giving you.
Courtney: By telling me I have to choose?
Jax: No, by asking you to decide your priorities. That is only fair. I love you and I want us to have a brilliant life together. And if you want that, too, you know where to find me.
Brook Lynn’s voice: "Diego, I'm so sorry for being so unfair. I just go scared because you changed, you know? But I trust you. I trust you more than any guy I've ever known."
Maxie: So much for you being a safe driver.
Diego: Safe doesn't mean slow. Besides, you handle yourself pretty, pretty well.
Maxie: Well, I like to go fast in cars, no place else.
Diego: I understand. No problem.
Maxie: I have a problem.
Diego: Well, maybe I can solve it.
Maxie: Only by telling me the truth, which you have yet to do.
Diego: What, I have been nothing but honest.
Maxie: Except about the car. There is no way that that car is yours.
Diego: I swear the car's mine.
Maxie: I don't believe you.
Diego: My father just gave it to me.
Maxie: No.
Diego: Tu crees que yo le mentiria a ojos azules como los tuyos.
Brook Lynn’s voice: "With your new look and your new car, I just -- I don't know, I'm afraid that you'll want a new girlfriend, too."
Reese: Fuel on the runway. Can you believe it?
Ric: I heard about it. Whole airport's closed.
Reese: So much for my great escape to D.C.
Ric: Yeah, and the puddle-jumper to New York City.
Reese: Ah, fate.
Ric: No, fate is for people with a will of their own. We make choices and we got to learn to live with them.
Reese: No matter how much it hurts?
Ric: Alexis and I had a chance today.
Reese: Same with me and Sonny.
Ric: I walked away. I walked away from everything that I ever wanted in my whole life. I walked away from a wife, two children. But on the upside, you know, I think the vendetta that I have against my brother is gone because I set him free.
Reese: So did I in a way.
Ric: What?
Reese: You know, I could be with Sonny right this second.
Ric: Yet here we are, alone.
Reese: So is this the part where we tell each other how great we are and how we could do better?
Ric: No, God, no, don't -- well, you can tell me. I mean, that would make me feel a lot better. My brother is definitely out of his mind.
Reese: Is that a compliment? No compliments, please.
Ric: Sorry.
Reese: Just don't even go there, because right now all I want is to feel nothing. Hey fellas you gotta act right now.
Ric: Yes?
Reese: I'm thinking about the hangover.
Ric: I think that means you need another one.
Reese: Or it means I need to quit while I'm behind.
Ric: You tell me.
Reese: One more.
Ric: All right. Not bad. So D.C., huh?
Reese: I should've gone back months ago.
Ric: Hmm.
Reese: Oh, but good luck in the big, bad city.
Ric: Oh, I was born and raised in Manhattan. It'll be like going home.
Reese: Don't you think you'll miss this place?
Ric: You really are drunk.
Reese: You know, I got some respect for you, Ric.
Ric: Thanks. Same here. I mean, respect for you. For me, as well, I mean, but --
Reese: I understand.
Ric: See ya. You ok?
Reese: No, spinning a little bit.
Ric: Yeah, well, you know, here, why don't you let me -- I'll walk you.
Reese: That's ok. I'm fine.
Ric: It's ok, really. Whoa.
Reese: You sure you're ok?
Ric: I'm just absolutely perfect.
Reese: Let's walk each other up, ok?
Ric: Wait. Ok. That's good. Slowly.
Sam: Just -- just listen.
Jason: I don't hear anything.
Sam: That's what I mean. Jason, it is finally over. Sonny's free, Michael’s home, and that buzz, you know, that -- you've got to know what I'm talking about. Like, that, "Oh, my God, what's next" buzz that is, like -- it's gone. It's gone.
Jason: Thank you.
Sam: You're welcome.
Jason: Yeah.
Sam: I'm not exactly sure for what, but you -- you are definitely welcome.
Jason: Losing Michael, first, you know, with the kidnapping, and then thinking he was dead -- that was the hardest thing I ever lived through. I couldn't think. I didn't know what I was doing from one minute to the next. You -- you got me through that.
Sam: Me? I don't know why you believe that. Because you're wrong. All I did was stay close.
Jason: That's what I mean.
[Door opens]
Carly: I've had it, Jase. I really have. Sonny has completely lost his mind. It's one thing to be selfish, but it's another thing -- ugh!
Jason: This is a bad time, Carly, please.
Carly: Yeah, no kidding. You know where I just came from, why Sonny and I didn't meet you, like he was ever going to --
Sam: Not that you asked and not that you even care about anyone but yourself, but Jason and I were in the middle of something, so I would appreciate it if you would leave.
Reese: Thank you.
Ric: Sure you're all right?
Reese: Yeah, soon as I get off these perilous heels.
Ric: Oh, ok, I got you, I got you.
Alexis: I'm sorry, baby. All I did was try to make sure that we were all safe, and all I did was make sure that we were alone.
[Knock on door]
Alexis: Oh, God, please let it be him, let it be him. Please let it be him, let it be him, let it be him.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Courtney: I don't trust you. Stay away from Jax.
Carly: Are you throwing me out?
Jason: Everyone's lives are getting back to normal. We don't need you to blow it up all over again.
Alexis: Come back some other time.
