Carly: Sonny, you home?
Sonny: Where you been?
Carly: Oh, hey.
Sonny: Why'd you leave so early?
Carly: I just came to grab some stuff. Max is going to bring some boxes, but -- did I leave anything down here?
Sonny: Oh, everything is, you know, upstairs, where, you know, you left it.
Carly: Oh. Ok, good. Hey, Leticia? Leticia, can you start packing up my stuff? Thanks.
Sonny: You are not moving into that apartment. Ok? It's not safe.
Carly: Hmm. Ok. Sonny, we are in the process of getting a divorce, right?
Sonny: Yes.
Carly: So that means you don't get to tell me where to live.
Sonny: I will find you another place.
Carly: I like the place that I found. So, just, come on, don't fight me on this. Please?
Sonny: Or what? You're going to sic Durant on me again?
Carly: Durant?
Sonny: Yeah, yeah, yeah. He was over here yesterday making demands for the divorce.
Carly: What, Durant appointed himself my divorce attorney?
John: I am well aware of Mr. Corinthos' finances.
Jordan: That's because you stole privileged information from his family home.
John: Hmm. He has a great deal of money hidden offshore, which means he can be extra generous with the legal assets he gives my daughter in the divorce settlement.
Jordan: We'll be in touch.
John: All right.
Steven: Hi.
Jordan: Dr. Webber.
Steven: Hey, John.
John: Steven.
Steven: Does Carly even know you're representing her?
Emily: Excuse me. Hi. I'm looking for a friend of mine, Connor Bishop. He just moved here from Canada, and he's probably looking for work. He is a great carpenter. Have you seen him?
David: No, uh-uh.
Emily: Are you sure?
David: Just me in the shop.
Emily: Ok, sorry. Thank you.
David: Mm-hmm.
Sam: Hey, open, open. There you go. All right, now you just -- you just eat -- or drink or -- I don't know -- get full, whatever it is you do.
[Knock on door]
Sam: Who's that? Who's that? Hello.
Courtney: Hey. Can I come in?
Sam: Yeah. Yeah, yeah. What is she doing here? Hmm?
Courtney: Jason called me. I -- I'm here --
Sam: You're here about the baby.
Sonny: So, you didn't know John Durant was claiming to be your lawyer?
Carly: John asked if he could help me, and I told him no.
Sonny: Well, he obviously didn't listen, because he just came right in here making demands in your name. So --
Carly: I'll be right back.
Sonny: What --
[Door opens and closes]
Steven: So did you even ask Carly if she wants you to negotiate her divorce?
John: Carly will thank me once she's rich.
Steven: She's already rich.
John: Hmm, not compared to Sonny.
Steven: Look, I'm not going to defend the guy, but he set Carly up in her own business, and from everything she says, he's always been very generous.
John: Hey, look, Corinthos is the one who wanted this divorce. Now, never mind that it's the best thing to ever happen to Carly. But it's going to cost him.
Steven: Shouldn't that be Carly’s choice?
John: I'm going to protect my daughter whether she wants me to or not.
Steven: I think you need to leave Carly alone and stay out of it.
John: Hmm. Why? So you can ride in and save the day, huh?
Alexis: Viola, I'll be right back. I'm taking out the garbage.
Ric: Oh, hi.
Alexis: Hi. What are you doing?
Ric: Moving in.
Lucky: I didn't hear you come back.
Elizabeth: I yelled.
Lucky: Um -- I'm going to get dressed.
Elizabeth: Only if you want to.
Lucky: So, did you find out anything?
Elizabeth: Oh, you would not believe how many carpenters are in Wellsburg, Ontario.
Lucky: Yeah?
Elizabeth: It's ridiculous.
Lucky: Well, let's see.
Elizabeth: Yeah, you look. Does this remind you of the hotel room in New York?
Lucky: Oh, yeah, sleeping on the floor? Kind of.
Elizabeth: Sometimes I feel like we lost our future to Helena. I don't want that to happen to Emily and Nikolas.
Lucky: This is -- whoa, I just can't believe this.
Emily: You guys, I think I found Connor.
Elizabeth: So, is he working for that carpenter?
Emily: The guy barely looked at the picture, but I think he recognized Connor, and he said that he was working alone, but there was an extra pair of goggles and there was another work station.
Lucky: Ok, we'd better get over there.
Elizabeth: Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait. If Connor sees us, you know he's going to run.
Lucky: That's not a problem. As long as he runs in the right direction.
Connor: Yeah, I got involved with Emily right after Mary died, and she wanted to get way too serious way too fast. You know what I mean? I had to --
David: Hmm, is that why you left the states?
Connor: Yeah, pretty much. Hey, thanks for helping out, by the way.
David: No, you've been a great employee. I'd hate to lose you.
Connor: Yeah. I'm not real sure if I can stay, you know? I mean, I can't figure out how Emily found me or what she even wants.
Sam: Why did you call Courtney?
Jason: Well, you know, she has her foundation; she's kind of familiar with this stuff, so I wanted to make sure that the adoption was really possible.
Sam: Ok, well, do you think it is?
Courtney: You know, Bridget’s only 16. I mean, she ran away from her foster home, and she's been living on the street for several months. Now she's agreed to live in a shelter for runaways until we get everything squared away.
Jason: How does she feel about the baby?
Courtney: Well, Bridget’s given me permission to start the paperwork on the adoption.
Sam: Do you hear that? You're going to have a home. We're going to adopt you, yes.
Courtney: Well, we still have to meet with Bridget. I mean, I have to make sure she understands all of her rights.
Sam: Ok, but she made her decision, so, well --
Courtney: You know, social services still has to sign off on the paperwork. You know, they'll insist on home visits.
Sam: All right, that's good, because Jason asked me to move back in, and you know what a great dad he is, so --
Courtney: I wish it were that simple.
Sam: Maybe it is. Bridget can't be a mother to her daughter. I can. Jason and I can give her a loving home. Everybody's happy, especially -- especially this little girl, right? Yeah. You.
Courtney: Bridget. Hey. How are you feeling? Did you have lunch?
Bridget: I didn't expect you to bring the baby.
Courtney: Well, we all need to know exactly what's happening here, and I thought you'd want to see her; make sure she's all right.
Bridget: Are you trying to make this difficult?
Sam: Why don't Jason and I take her out while you guys sort this out?
Bridget: No, no, wait. Let her get warm first, ok? I mean, it's freezing outside. You got her a new snowsuit.
Sam: Yeah. The important thing is that she's nice and warm, right?
Bridget: Yeah. Baby things are so expensive, and I'm completely broke.
Courtney: Well, you know, the foundation can help you get a job and a place to live. We can get you back in school. And, you know, we can also provide a daycare provider if you reconsider --
Bridget: I can't take care of myself. How can I take care of her?
Sam: Jason and I will give your daughter a good home. I promise that.
Bridget: I didn't do anything right when I was pregnant. I mean, I didn't drink or do drugs, but all that prenatal stuff you read about? Who could afford that with no insurance? I went to the doctor once, and I ate terrible. I couldn't just show up at the hospital. They would send me back to that foster home.
Courtney: Look, Bridget, we can find you a new placement. And as I said, we can get you daycare.
Bridget: How many times do I have to tell you? I can't be a mother. That's why I'm giving the baby to Sam.
Courtney: I was just -- just making sure.
Bridget: I'm sure.
Courtney: Well, you'll have to fill out some legal papers.
Bridget: Ok, yeah, whatever.
Courtney: Ok, and then you'll have up until a year in case you change your mind.
Bridget: I won’t. I know I'm doing the right thing, so I'll sign whatever.
Courtney: Well, the papers should be on my desk in a day or two. So how's it going at the shelter?
Bridget: Better. I don't know, it's loud.
Courtney: Ok, look, honey, we're going to find you a new foster home, ok? And if you don't like it, you can change, no questions asked. You don't have to run away.
Bridget: Ok. Thanks, all of you.
Sam: Yeah, we better get her home.
Jason: Yeah.
Bridget: Can I say goodbye to my baby first?
Ric: Whoo.
Alexis: So, you're moving in?
Ric: Yeah.
Alexis: Oh.
Ric: Is that a problem? I mean, I figured that my apartment got gutted in the fire, so --
Alexis: Well, that was weeks ago.
Ric: Yeah, I know, but I don't want to keep paying rent in a hotel. You know what I mean?
Alexis: Yeah. Yeah. You didn't give me any warning.
Ric: Well, I didn't think I had to. I mean, we are husband and wife. I mean, how long did you think we were going to live separately? Forever?
Alexis: That's one way to make the marriage last.
Sonny: You don't have to take care of Durant anymore.
Jordan: Oh, good, because he could pose a real threat.
Sonny: Yeah, well, you know what? Carly's going to take care of him.
Michael: Was Mom here?
Sonny: Yeah, she was, but she had to go, but she'll be back. Why?
Michael: Good, because I wondered if you wanted to take a drive.
Sonny: Now?
Michael: If there's something you want to show me.
Sonny: Like what?
Michael: A special birthday present.
Sonny: Special -- it's not your birthday.
Michael: But it will be soon.
Sonny: Can you sit down?
Jordan: Yeah.
Sonny: What are you talking about?
Michael: I saw the picture under the tree. I know you're just waiting till my birthday so you can give me the real thing.
Sonny: I don't know what you're talking about.
Michael: Sure, you do.
Sonny: Oh, I do?
Michael: See?
Sonny: Where'd you find that?
Michael: Under the tree, like I told you.
Sonny: Are you sure?
Michael: You can give me the present a little early. I don't mind.
Sonny: I'm not going to buy you a house for your birthday, Michael.
Jordan: Well, it's still available. I saw it on the net this morning.
Michael: Are we going to buy it? Are we?
Sonny: No. It's not going to happen.
Carly: I told you, stay out of my divorce.
John: Do you have any idea how much money Sonny has stashed away in offshore accounts?
Carly: Oh. I don't care.
John: He can afford to pay you a fortune in alimony.
Carly: Listen to me. The one thing that Sonny and I have never, ever fought about is money, and I am not about to start right now.
John: Name one thing you own, one thing that you own free and clear beside the house I bought you.
Carly: Oh, do you mean that house that the roof just fell down on and almost killed me?
John: Ha-ha-ha-ha, you're avoiding the question. Seriously, a piece of property in your name, at all. Any property?
Carly: I own The Cellar.
John: Yeah, and Sonny owns most of the waterfront, several properties downtown, not to mention multiple properties in Manhattan, or has he mentioned those to you?
Carly: Will you listen to me? I have plenty of money.
John: No, you have the scraps that Sonny decides to toss your way.
Carly: You want to use me again, and this time it's to go after Sonny's financial assets. It is not going to happen.
John: Carly, I just want to give you some power in your own divorce, but, hey, you don't want my help, I'll get out of your way.
Carly: Wait, wait. Just wait, wait. Wait a minute. Listen, I don't care about the money. But the power, I could use.
Sam: Here, be careful, ok? Make sure you support her head.
Bridget: I've got her. Hi, baby. How are you? Are you better now? I'm so sorry I have to do this, but you're going to have a good life. Sam already has a baby of her own, so you'll have a sister. You like that? Huh?
Sam: Bridget, about my baby -- she died during childbirth not that long ago.
Bridget: You lied to me?
Sam: No, I didn't want to frighten you while you were giving birth to your daughter. I am very sorry. I would have told you when you gave me the baby, but you had left so quickly, I didn't have --
Bridget: So, it's like I'm giving you the baby you lost.
Sam: I should also tell you -- ahem -- that Jason and I, we are not married. I've been staying here. My things are packed in the back ready to go.
Bridget: You were living here?
Sam: For a little bit, yeah, after my baby died, but Jason and I are going to move back in together. And I want you to know that he can financially support us, and he is really, really good with kids.
Bridget: Are you?
Jason: Yeah. I have two nephews. They're sons of my best friend. When the oldest one was born, I pretty much took care of him for a long time, so I can take good care of your baby.
Bridget: Ok. Good, because I sure don’t.
Sam: Ok.
Jason: I'm going to grab your bags.
Sam: Yeah. We're going to get her home, ok?
Bridget: Yeah. Yeah. Sam, tell her she's pretty, ok? And always give her a birthday party. And if she doesn't understand things in school, help her.
Sam: I will. We are going to love her. I promise you that, ok?
Bridget: Yeah, ok.
Sam: Ok. Thank you. You're making the right decision.
Courtney: Bridget, are you sure you're ok with this?
Bridget: Yeah. I'm fine.
Elizabeth: It is so cold out there. Hi. Can you help me? My husband and I were looking for a carpenter, and we heard you were highly recommended, and we need a bunch of built-in things, you know, custom work and nice carved things. We're really into carvings, you know, dogs and cats and whatever. You think you can help me out?
David: Could you give me a hand out here?
Connor: Yeah, what do you need?
Elizabeth: I need some work done, carvings. Do you think -- can you do carvings?
Connor: Yeah.
Elizabeth: Connor, wait!
Connor: Oh! What the hell do you want from me?
Lucky: Save my brother's life.
Alexis: There is just so much going on, I can't remember. Did we agree to live together?
Ric: Well, it is sort of implied in the marriage contract. But if that's a problem, I mean, I'll be happy to get everything --
Alexis: No, no, no, no. No. It's just I don't have room for all of this stuff.
Ric: Oh, come on, sweetie, sure, you do.
Alexis: No, I don’t. I don't, really. All right, I have an idea. How about -- the gray ones stay and the blue ones go.
Ric: Hey, whoa, whoa, what are you doing?
Alexis: I'm making room. My closets are really small.
Ric: Ok, wait a second. Do you want me to stay or not?
Alexis: Tonight?
Ric: Yes or no.
Alexis: Ok. This has to go.
Ric: That is my hockey trophy.
Alexis: This is just wrong.
Ric: No. My team and I won regionals when I was 12.
Alexis: I'm really happy for you and your team, but it can't live here.
Ric: No, no, no, no, no, no, thank you. Let go, let go, let go. Please.
Alexis: All right, this, then. This.
Ric: Uh-uh, favorite shirt.
Alexis: This is just tragic.
Ric: Give it to me.
Alexis: Should have burned it.
Ric: No! No!
Alexis: What are those?
Ric: Weights.
Alexis: Why?
Ric: For the days I can't make it to the gym.
Alexis: God forbid.
Ric: Oh, come on, don't you ever go -- don't you ever go to the gym?
Alexis: I'm the one who chopped that tree down and dragged it off your lifeless body.
Ric: Don't get cocky. That was adrenaline.
Alexis: You would have frozen to death if it weren't for me.
Ric: No, no, no, no, wait a second here. Don't change the subject. Have you -- when was the last time you were at the gym?
Alexis: Why?
Ric: Just ballpark, ok?
Alexis: You think I'm fat.
Ric: I'm --
Alexis: Go ahead --
Ric: I'm not going there.
Alexis: Go ahead, say it.
Ric: No, no, no, no.
Alexis: You think I'm fat and out of shape.
Ric: No, I think you're beautiful, really, honestly.
Alexis: For a fat woman.
Ric: No, not for a fat woman. I think you're very sexy --
Alexis: You'd say anything to get what you want.
Ric: Come on, Alexis, admit it -- you want me, don't you?
Sonny: As soon as the repairs are finished, you and Morgan are going to move back in, ok, with your mama, and I'm going to stay here.
Michael: But if you buy the house, we could play catch in the summer, I could have my own club in the tree house, like the no name. My own private club.
Sonny: That's not going to happen, Michael, ok? I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I am not going to buy you that house.
Michael: You're really not going to buy it?
Sonny: What did I just say? Ok? I'm sorry that you got your hopes up.
Michael: It's ok. Sorry to bother you.
Sonny: The kid's just like me.
Jordan: And as your attorney, I'd advise you to reconsider.
John: Thank you. Ah, Sonny. I'm glad to see you're still home.
Sonny: You know what, Durant? I thought we went through all this already. What's going on here?
John: Oh, no, no, no.
Sonny: No?
John: We've just started. I'm sure you are familiar with this kind of document.
Sonny: What is it for?
John: A subpoena.
Sonny: Right.
John: It's for all your financial records pursuant to the divorce.
Jordan: Can I see the subpoena, please?
Sonny: Does Carly even know you're here, Durant, or --
John: That would be privileged information -- attorney-client.
Sonny: If this guy is speaking for Carly without her knowing, isn't that, like, fraud?
Jordan: Mm-hmm.
John: Hey.
Sonny: What?
John: You've shown my daughter absolutely no respect. You've dictated every term of her life. Well, that is over. Carly no longer has to live her life according to your mood.
Sonny: Well, how many times do I got to tell you? My family is not your concern.
John: How many times do I have to tell you that your family is my family, and if you're not going to take care of them, I am?
Sonny: Oh, yeah? Well, you're bluffing, because that subpoena means nothing to me.
Carly: Hey. The subpoena is my idea.
Ric: Hold, hold, hold.
Alexis: I just -- I may have had a moment of weakness in the middle of the blizzard, that's all.
Ric: Look, ok, ok, you know what? Fine, I'll just -- let me sleep on the couch. Give me a couple of weeks to find another place. I'll put my stuff in storage.
Alexis: No, it's ok. Give me a couple of weeks --
Ric: No, no, that's fine. I don't want to inconvenience you, really.
Alexis: No, you're not inconveniencing me.
Ric: Look, look, no, I'm going to leave so that you can have your life.
Alexis: Well, what kind of marriage is that?
Ric: Exactly.
Emily: We think Helena’s still alive.
Connor: After Nikolas threw her off the cliff? All right.
Lucky: The body was never recovered.
Connor: So what?
Emily: Hey, you were right about some things -- a lot of things. I don't want to spend the rest of my life away from Nikolas -- driving up to Pentonville on visiting day, praying for a chance to be alone with him. If Helena’s still alive, then Nikolas can go free.
Connor: Nobody could have survived that fall, especially not some old lady.
Lucky: Helena Cassadine isn't just some old lady.
Connor: What do you want from me?
Elizabeth: We have a plan.
Emily: Ok, Helena loves Nikolas.
Connor: Yeah, so much she let him think he killed her.
Emily: Look, it makes sense.
Elizabeth: Yeah, if you're insane.
Emily: Ok, Nikolas is locked safely away from me. Helena can take her time arranging for me to die in a fatal accident, ok? Show up, get Nikolas out of prison.
Connor: You're right, that's nuts.
Emily: If Helena thinks that Nikolas has escaped, somehow, if she thinks that he's with me, then she's going to come after him. She won't be able to help herself.
Connor: So what do you want me to do, huh? And I'm not even saying I'm going to do it. What do you want me to do?
Elizabeth: Dress like Nikolas, act like Nikolas.
Connor: I tried that. It didn't work.
Emily: I'll help you this time.
Elizabeth: Ok, we are going to make Helena think that Nikolas escaped, and you and Emily are going to go to all the places she could be hiding.
Emily: She won't be able to stand it, Connor. She'll come out.
Lucky: Yeah, we'll trap her.
Connor: And then what? Huh? Then the prince gets out of prison, lives happily ever after with you, hmm?
Emily: Yeah.
Connor: And then the two of you get to be the big heroes because you solved the case, right? Great, what do you I get?
Lucky: You get your life back.
Connor: I have my life.
Emily: Knowing that Nikolas is in prison partly because of you?
Connor: I didn't throw his granny off the cliff, he did.
Emily: You said that you would be so much happier if you could help him in some way, and this is a real opportunity for you to do that.
Connor: I never volunteered to serve as bait to some crazy old lady, all right? And -- who's probably dead. But if she ain't dead, who's to keep her from coming after me?
Lucky: We can protect you.
Connor: Oh, right, like you protected your brother? Come on, how stupid do you think I am? I tried to help you, I really did, but I got nothing else for you, all right? So just go back to Port Charles and leave me alone.
Sam: Isn't it weird how things work out? Just when you think there's no hope, that you'll never get what you want the most, you do, and out of nowhere. You came out of nowhere, yes. It's a miracle. Yes, it is. Isn't it? Hey, we're going to have to come up with a name for you.
Jason: Sam --
Sam: Yeah. No, I would call you Miracle, but that sounds kind of funny. But maybe I can look it up in the dictionary and it'll sound a little better in Italian or French --
Jason: Sam, I don't think choosing a name --
Sam: I'd call you Chance, you know, if you were a boy. I think that would -- yeah, that would sound good, but you're not a boy, are you? Nope. I would call you Chance, because that's what you are. You're like my second chance.
Jason: Sam?
Sam: What?
Jason: Will you just listen to me for a second? I don't want to ruin this for you. I mean, I love seeing you so happy, but do you understand that you can lose this baby, too? Bridget has one year to take her back. She just didn't seem ready to let go to me, that's all.
Sam: Bridget gave me her baby. She agreed to sign the papers, Jason.
Jason: I know she agreed, but she hasn't signed them yet.
Sam: I know, but she trusts me. I understand, ok? I understand if you don't want to do this.
Jason: No, Sam, Sam, that's -- that's not what I mean at all. I just don't want to see you get hurt again.
Sam: If you don't take a risk, you don't get a payoff.
Jason: Right, and I understand that, and I understand that you're not afraid to take a risk, but this situation is totally different, because nobody knows what's going to happen. The reality is --
Sam: The reality is, Jason, we may only have a year with this little girl, maybe less. Bridget could walk in here tonight and demand her back.
Jason: Right. Yeah, she could.
Sam: Right. So why not make every day, I mean, every minute count for this little girl? Look at her. She needs someone to love her now.
Jason: Michael needed someone to love him when he was a baby, too, and that's -- that's exactly what I did. I gave him the best life that I could. I was his father. But when I had to give him up, Sam -- I just don't want you to go through that.
Sam: Don't worry. Jason, come on, you know me. I'm always prepared for the worst. Here you go.
Carly: Thanks. I'll take it from here.
John: You sure?
Carly: Yeah, no problem.
John: All right. Hey, tell your client to wise up, give my daughter what she wants.
Carly: Ok. So much for the subpoena.
Jordan: Well, there's still a copy on file at the courthouse.
Carly: Look, my lawyer cannot do anything unless I tell him to act on it.
Sonny: Why, Carly? Why are you doing this?
Carly: Because I want to move into the apartment I chose --
Sonny: It --
Carly: What?
Sonny: It's not safe! I told you!
Carly: Oh, well, neither is letting my father, the former federal prosecutor, subpoena your financial records.
Jordan: That's blackmail.
Carly: Well, if that's what it takes.
Alexis: Ok, just -- just sit tight, just stay. Sit. Stay. I'm sorry. You know, I -- I don't respond well to pressure.
Ric: You responded just fine the other night.
Alexis: I'm just trying to do the right thing. I'm just trying to take my time and take care of my daughter. You weren't exactly complaining the other night, either, you know?
Ric: You know, you are such a chicken.
Alexis: When did I ever say to you that I wasn't afraid? When did I ever even suggest that the prospect of a commitment, let alone marriage, didn't scare me to death? I'm the one who left poor Ned at the altar and flagged down a semi.
Ric: Mm-hmm, why did you burn the annulment?
Alexis: The annulment is invalid anyway because we consummated it.
Ric: Exactly, all right? The marriage. You and I, we are married in every sense of the word.
Alexis: We both thought we were dying in the blizzard.
Ric: I see, so you don't want me to do this, right?
Alexis: I didn't say that. I just said --
Ric: Or this?
Alexis: Well, I don't know if you should do that.
Ric: Hmm? Or this?
Alexis: In fact, it's probably not -- oh, oh -- no? Well --
Ric: Ok. Ok, fine. I'll send for my things. Good knowing you.
Alexis: Counselor?
Ric: What?
Alexis: Get back here.
Lorenzo: Is Carly home? Dr. Webber, isn't it?
Steven: Yeah.
Lorenzo: You seem comfortable here.
Steven: What do you want?
Lorenzo: I believe Carly left me a message to meet her here.
Steven: I doubt that.
Lorenzo: Well, I didn't speak to her personally. Maybe someone got the address wrong.
Steven: Or maybe you just showed up uninvited because you wanted to let Carly know you were still around. You were watching here. You're a little obsessive about her, aren't you?
Lorenzo: Hmm. I'm beginning to think that you have appointed yourself Carly’s protector. You might want to discuss that with her. And I think you'll find that Carly will tell you that she can run her own life.
John: I agree.
Jordan: You made a grave mistake, Mrs. Corinthos. Never admit to blackmail in front of witnesses.
Sonny: Listen. Look, listen to my lawyer, ok? You don't want to do this, Carly.
Carly: I want the apartment I chose.
Sonny: Oh, so you're just going to spite me? Is that what's going on here?
Carly: Yes, Sonny, that's right. It's all about you.
Sonny: I'm not even trying to control your life anymore, and you're just going to --
Carly: Yeah, you don't, Sonny, because I'm not going to let you. Come on. We don't have to do this anymore. Just give me what I want.
Sonny: I know exactly what you want.
Carly: I don't want to live in an apartment that you pick out. I want to live in the one that I picked out. And if you have a problem with me living across the hall from Steven, it's too bad!
Sonny: I don't care how close you live to Steven. I mean --
Carly: Oh, good. Good, because he saved my life, and you know how grateful I can be.
Sonny: All right, I'm going to have somebody, you know, go over there, change the windows, make them bulletproof, and I'll have somebody watch the building.
Carly: Well, ok, all right, you suit yourself. Hey, Michael, come on down! Let's go check out our new apartment!
Michael: Which one?
Carly: What do you mean, which one? The one you loved yesterday? Across from Steven’s?
Michael: But I thought Dad said that --
Carly: No, you know, don't worry about Dad. Daddy has a little bit of time to think, and he needs to do that in peace and quiet. Ok.
Michael: Bye, Dad.
Carly: Bye.
Sonny: Hmm.
Carly: We'll be in touch.
Sonny: Mm-hmm.
Jordan: Well, I can't believe she's doing that to you.
Sonny: It's just the way she is.
John: Lorenzo Alcazar. Oh. I'm honored.
Lorenzo: I understand you were suspended from the federal prosecutor's office.
John: Hmm, yeah. Just means fewer rules to get around.
Lorenzo: Hmm. Well, I take it you are the one who invited me over here.
John: I did. I just wanted to set a few ground rules. My daughter is off-limits. She's divorcing one mobster, she won't be taking up with another, so if you have any thoughts about reviving your relationship, you can think again.
Lorenzo: Your warning is duly noted. But you should keep in mind that what Carly wants and who Carly chooses to be with, that is definitely up to her.
Steven: It must be tough being Carly’s father. I mean, you got Corinthos, you got that guy, you got me. Too many dates to the prom. So I'll tell Carly you stopped by.
John: That won't be necessary.
Steven: Look, John, I know you don't like the idea of me taking up with your daughter, but there's nothing you can do about it.
John: Hmm. Hey, Steven. What if I said to you Rachel? Oh, wow. Isn't it interesting how one little word can change everything?
Emily: Connor.
Lucky: How'd you get in here?
Connor: Oh, I changed my mind. You were right. I'll help you.
Lucky: You'll go along with the plan?
Elizabeth: Learn how to be like Nikolas?
Connor: Yeah, yeah, I'll do whatever it takes.
Courtney: How about some dessert?
Bridget: Sure. Thanks. Oh, and the sooner that I can sign the adoption papers, the better.
Courtney: Ok. Ok, well, then everyone will get a chance to move on.
Bridget: I can see pictures, right, as my baby grows up, like on holidays and stuff?
Courtney: Well, you can request that as one of the terms of the adoption.
Bridget: I just want to make sure she's ok, you know, and see how she changes. That way, you know, I'll still feel connected to my baby.
Sam: It's ok. There you go. It's all right, miracle. Look, you have nothing to worry about, ok? Because we're going to be together. Yes, we are, forever. Yeah. I'm your mommy now.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Tracy: Why all this sudden talk about Helena?
Dillon: You want to catch my mom?
Ned: Sounds like you've been spending a lot of time with Diego.
Brook Lynn: He's not all bad like you think.
Jax: He's going to have to know the truth sooner or later.
Diego: Hey, is Alcazar my father or not?
Sam: Do you think we're doing the right thing?
