Courtney: All right, listen; it's time we set those boundaries that I mentioned.

Diego: You don't have to say anything. I already know I come on too strong. I've had to or I never got anything. Survival of the fittest, you know?

Courtney: I understand that, Diego --

Diego: But you're the only one who's ever tried to help me. I'm grateful. I understand if you need to bail.

Courtney: Diego, that's not what I’m doing. Ok, I will be front and center anytime you need me.

Diego: Me, too, for you. Just like I thought -- we're perfect together.

Jax: Hey, hey, hey, hey! Cut -- cut it out!

Courtney: Stop it! Stop it! This ends now!

Heather: If you knew there was a situation, why didn't you call me sooner?

Dr. Morris: We didn't think Mr. Spencer could've gotten that far. I called you as soon as I could.

Heather: I don't want to hear excuses. You find Luke.

Edward: Heather?

Heather: You startled me.

Edward: Why are you looking for Luke Spencer?

Ric: Skye.

Skye: Where's Luke? He's supposed to be here.

Ric: Nobody has seen Luke since he abandoned you months ago, and I have a very good feeling he's not going to be meeting you here now.

Carly: Hey, Sonny? I've been thinking about a way to test my father, and --

Sonny: Listen, if you're serious about setting Durant up to see if you can trust him, I know a way to do it.

Courtney: Look, you try that again and you will be sorry. I am your guardian, Diego, not your girlfriend.

Diego: I was just trying to show my appreciation.

Jax: You know what; let's cut the crap, ok? You were out of line, and I think you know that.

Diego: It was one kiss!

Jax: You're not even getting this, are you? You just offended her. You're exploiting her generosity.

Courtney: Jax is right; that kiss was completely inappropriate, Diego. Nothing like that is going to happen again.

Diego: Fine, cut me loose like everyone else!

Courtney: Well, what do you expect when you act like this?

Diego: I don't expect anything! You want me gone? Fine, I'm gone!

Courtney: Diego, wait!

Jax: Let him go, let him go.

Courtney: He's upset. He's going to get into trouble.

Jax: This is a disaster. I think you should call Social Services tonight.

Heather: I'm doing it for Lulu.

Edward: Lulu? Luke's daughter?

Heather: I'm worried about her. She and I became close when I was babysitting her while Lesley was in the hospital.

Edward: I remember.

Heather: She's missing both parents. I mean, no child should have to face that. I hired a private investigator to look for them.

Edward: That's very generous of you.

Heather: Well, I'm probably just overcompensating. I gave up the right to be a part of my own son's life, and Steven thinks I abandoned him. He hates me for it. I don't want Lulu to feel that way about her parents.

Edward: Well, maybe Lulu would be better off without Luke. He's a blight on anyone who has the misfortune to have anything to do with him.

Heather: Lulu needs her father.

Edward: It doesn't surprise me you think that way because you are wonderful and you're generous.

Heather: You don't have to say that. I know you don't want me here anymore. I'll pack my things and go.

Edward: Don't go.

Ric: So Jax was hiding you all along.

Skye: Jax doesn't even know I’m in Port Charles.

Ric: He's your ex-husband. I know you two are close.

Skye: I went to his apartment when I knew he wasn't going to be there and I looked for some money maybe he had stashed in a safe. He didn't even see me.

Ric: Skye, I think the best thing for you to do right now is to keep quiet until I can get you downtown.

Skye: No, I can't leave here just yet.

Ric: You really don't have a choice.

Skye: No, Luke is going to be here. If you just wait a few more minutes, he will show up and he will tell you that he did not write that letter accusing me of killing Detective Duncan and framing Laura.

Ric: Skye, Skye, the case is closed.

Skye: Look, I have made some terrible mistakes in my life, but there's no way that I killed Detective Duncan in cold blood, no matter how drunk I was!

Ric: I understand that, but you are an escaped felon. It is my duty to bring you in.

Skye: No, Ric, I can't leave here yet! Luke's going to be here!

Ric: Look, Luke sent you to prison. Now, I think you need to give up on the notion that he's here to rescue you.

John: Hello again.

Bobbie: Is this about Carly?

John: I need your help.

Bobbie: I know Carly has misgivings about you, and I can't say I blame her.

John: All I want is to get to know my daughter.

Bobbie: I realize you're used to getting what you want, but this time may be different. John, you are a federal prosecutor, and that makes you a threat to Carly’s husband.

John: You sound just like him.

Bobbie: Hmm, well, that's ironic, considering how often he and I disagree.

John: Sonny's convinced that I’m using Carly to get to him.

Bobbie: Are you?

John: All right, look, there's no question Sonny is a major player. But there's plenty of other gangsters I can target who don't happen to be married to my daughter.

Bobbie: Carly has always wanted to get to know her father, but I am not going to help you win her over if you're going to exploit her connection to Sonny.

John: All right, look, I'm going to meet Carly in half an hour at Kelly’s. Why don't you show up; you chaperone. Maybe if you can see Carly and I in the same room together, you'll be convinced that all I want to do is connect.

Bobbie: All right. But only because I want to protect Carly.

John: See you.

Steven: So, now you're using Carly’s mom to gain her confidence.

John: I'll do whatever it takes. Sonny Corinthos has never been convicted of a crime. He's used money; he's used muscle to control weak judges. He's paid off witnesses. The man is a criminal. He's walking around Port Charles like he's their number one citizen.

Steven: He also has a family.

John: Yeah, he's married to a woman who happens to be my daughter.

Steven: You see that as a lucky coincidence. I'm telling you, if you use her to get evidence against her husband, you may live to regret it.

John: Hey, doc?

Steven: Yes?

John: I love Carly.

Steven: You do?

John: Yeah. And under different circumstances, I might try harder to be her father. But if I can use her to put away one of the biggest crime bosses in the northeast and put him in prison for life, you better believe I'm going to do it.

Carly: What's this?

Sonny: Michael's latest drawing.

Carly: It's on Corinthos-Morgan stationery.

Sonny: Yeah, I had to use it. Oh, good. Come here. You need to hear this. I had Michael draw a picture on your letterhead. I wrote some information on the back about a shipment that doesn't exist. What I want you to do is I want you to take Michael’s drawing to Durant.

Carly: Oh, you mean to see if he notices the information?

Sonny: Well, yeah. And if he, you know, goes to make a bust, then we know what's going on here, right?

Carly: Yeah, that he's using me to get to you. It's a good idea, Sonny.

Jason: Now, what's the point? Durant's a fed. We already know he wants to arrest you.

Sonny: I --

Carly: Jason, I thought that it would make everyone more comfortable if we could prove that John was on the level.

Jason: He's not on the level. He's here to make a bust.

Carly: Jason, I’m doing this for you, ok? I don't want to keep fighting about Durant. I want to know one way or the other.

Alexis: Thanks for calling.

Skye: Ric told you he found me?

Alexis: He wanted me here when they brought you in.

Reporter: Ms. Quartermaine, is it true you were hiding out in your ex-husband's home all this time?

Alexis: You know what, Ms. Quartermaine has nothing to say to the press at this time. Let's go.

Reporter: D.A. Lansing, can you tell us how you tracked down the killer?

Ric: Ms. Quartermaine has not been processed yet, gentlemen.

Skye: No, wait, I have something to say. Luke, I know you're out there. Luke, I know you want to help me. Please tell them that I didn't kill anyone. I'm counting on you.

Ric: Come on, let's go.

Alexis: Let's go.

Edward: I was upset earlier. I said some things I didn't mean.

Heather: I understand.

Edward: I was feeling guilty. I took it out on you. I'm sorry.

Heather: I still think I should leave.

Edward: You really want to?

Heather: What, suddenly it's all right for me to stay? Why? Because Justus is inheriting Lila’s estate? I mean, was sending me away about the money for you?

Edward: No, not at all.

Heather: I want you so much, Edward. You make me feel things I’ve never felt before. But I don't want to pressure you into doing something that you feel is wrong.

Edward: I had a moment of doubt. That's it. It's over. I want you to stay with me. And if you won't listen to reason, I'll find other ways to change your mind.

[TV turns on]

TV announcer: Coming up in the news, fugitive Skye Chandler-Quartermaine --

Heather: Oh --

TV announcer: Has been apprehended and is currently in police custody.

Heather: Wait.

TV announcer: We'll have more on this latest development in a few moments. Also coming up --

Edward: Why do you care about Skye?

TV announcer: An in-depth report on how Port Charles high schools compare with the rest of the nation.

Courtney: I know this isn't the ideal situation, but Diego’s just a kid, Jax. He doesn't think things through.

Jax: Courtney, you were expecting a kid, and he's almost an adult who's totally out of control.

Courtney: Ok, I admit Diego’s a challenge.

Jax: He's got one thing on his mind -- sex, that's it.

Courtney: Oh, really? And what were you thinking about when you were 17?

Jax: Exactly the same thing, but my guardian wasn't a gorgeous blonde.

Courtney: Ok, don't -- no, don't try to distract me with compliments.

Jax: No, I'm not, I’m not. I'm trying to be serious. I'm just stating the obvious, ok? You don't appeal to him on a maternal level.

Courtney: Look, Jax, I -- I created this foundation to help kids in need. How would it look if I just gave up the minute they placed a child with me?

Jax: He's not a child, ok? Let's be realistic about this. You're not equipped to deal with Diego. You live in a one-bedroom loft, and he's a bundle of raging hormones who won't take no for an answer.

Courtney: It's not like Diego’s a threat, Jax.

Jax: All right, and what if he really crosses the line next time? He could be facing serious charges. I mean, you're nothing but a temptation for him. If you really want to help the kid, you got to let him go.

Courtney: Do you really think that I’m doing Diego more harm than good by letting him stay?

[Phone rings]

Jax: This is Jax.

Alexis: It's me. I'm at the police station with Skye.

Jax: Damn it.

Alexis: She's asked for you.

Jax: Be right there.

Courtney: What happened?

Jax: The police picked up Skye. She's asking for me.

Courtney: Well, I'll go with you.

Jax: No, no, no, you call Social Services and let them deal with Diego. I'll call you as soon as I know something about Skye.

 [Water splashes]

Brook Lynn: Uh, looks major. Do you need some help?

Carly: Jason, why can't you admit that there actually may be a chance that my father wants to get to know me?

Jason: Because he's a fed. His priority is his job. Look at his track record, Carly.

Carly: Ok, so that's all that John is to you, a fed? Well, Jason, guess what -- all you are to him is a thug. You're a mob enforcer. You're somebody who breaks the law that he swore to protect. He is wrong, Jason. You are the best friend that I have ever had. You are an amazing uncle to Morgan and Michael, and you have proven yourself to me and this family over and over again. I just want to give my father the same chance, and maybe he will surprise us. Maybe he isn't like the stereotype, either.

Jason: Carly, but you're thinking about what you want, not what's real.

Sonny: You know what, can we not argue about this right now?

Carly: Look, if it's possible, I just want to have a chance to get to know my father. That's all. I'm doing everything I can; I'm taking precautions to protect the family. I'm going to give this picture to him with the information on the back, and if he uses it, Jason, then we know he's lying.

Carly: What is --?

Sonny: You got to give him some time, you know?

Carly: I've never seen him like this.

Sonny: The only thing Jason sees right now is you're jeopardizing the people he loves over a man you don't even know if you can trust.

Alexis: Just stay here and keep quiet.

Jax: Where is she?

Ric: Interrogation One.

Alexis: Will you try to keep her calm, and will you please tell her no more public appeals for Luke’s rescue?

Jax: Well, you know, the problem is she doesn't believe that Luke’s responsible for all this. Thought I told you to stay put.

Skye: Don't worry, I denied hiding out with you.

Jax: I'm not worried about me. I just don't understand why you would come out of hiding.

Skye: I had to. That's where Luke wanted to meet me, at the Elm Street Pier.

Jax: So Luke set you up?

Skye: No, he wouldn't do that.

Jax: Skye, Luke wrote the letter that turned the jury against you, and now he lured you out in the open so that police could pick you up.

Skye: Luke cares about me, Jax. There has got to be some other explanation.

Ric: I spoke to Warden Bradford already. She says she wants Skye transferred to Pentonville tonight.

Alexis: I need more time.

Ric: No, there's nothing I can do. My hands are tied.

Alexis: She -- she would've left the country if she were guilty. She didn't leave the country. She is desperate --

Ric: Well, maybe, Alexis, but she has to go through the appeals process now.

Alexis: I know that you're trying to do your job. I know it's important that you do it well. I also know there's a modicum of compassion in there because I have seen it. I have to have more time. I have to prove she didn't do it.

Ric: Well, ok, but did you see the television cameras? Everybody in town knows that she has escaped.

Alexis: Well, come up with something. Do it for me.

Heather: Skye's escape has obviously caused you a lot of stress. That can't be good for your heart.

Edward: And Skye going back to a prison cell -- that's not good for my health, either.

Heather: I was just afraid that she'd show up here asking for help or money. I don't want her dragging you into this mess.

Edward: Heather, I care about Skye dearly. I want to help her. She's a Quartermaine. She's more of a Quartermaine than some of these ingrates that surround me! And she didn't murder that detective. She wanted to report it to the police. Luke wouldn't let her. And he led her on. He said he's going to come back and rescue her!

Heather: Luke is very loyal. If he turned on Skye, she must have deserved it.

Edward: You mind telling me why you want to defend that scoundrel? Just how well do you know Luke Spencer?

Diego: I just want to be alone.

Brook Lynn: Ok, so you own the pier now?

Diego: I don't own anything but the clothes I'm wearing -- unlike you, princess.

Brook Lynn: What's your problem?

Diego: Where do I start?

Brook Lynn: Um, I don't know, maybe with why you're flipping out? Look, man, there's obviously a problem. Why don't you just tell me?

Diego: Look, I've got bigger problems than any of you spoiled brats, like where I’m going to sleep tonight.

Brook Lynn: Oh, wait, you're homeless?

Diego: I'm part of the system. I've been in five foster homes in two years.

Brook Lynn: And they kicked you out?

Diego: Well, that's what happens when they figure out they're getting a teenager instead of a cuddly baby.

Brook Lynn: Well, if you go around wrecking people's furniture and biting their heads off when they're trying to be nice --

Diego: Look, you don't know anything about it. Just go.

Brook Lynn: All right, well, um, look, if you don't want to be kicked out of places, you might want to try and change your attitude because if you don't, you're going to stay the way you are, all right, which is alone.

Carly: I just don't understand why Jason can't even consider the possibility that Durant may be sincere.

Sonny: Well, Jason has no reason to give Durant the benefit of the doubt.

Carly: Yeah, but neither do you --

Sonny: Well, I'm --

Carly: And you've managed to, Sonny.

Sonny: Well, yeah, because I'm a father. I wouldn't like to be away from Michael and Morgan, and I would hate to know that I had a child out there that I didn't see grow up. So that's why, I mean, you know, with Durant, even though I don't like it, he never knew you existed, and I feel that you deserve a chance to see him now.

Carly: That's what I just don't get. Look, you have been more of a father to Jason than Alan ever was. I don't understand why he can't see my point of view.

Sonny: I'll tell you -- look, all Jason sees are the facts. Durant is a fed. That makes him a threat. And he may be right. Jason's not projecting his own feelings on this. He doesn't see it from Durant’s point of view or trying to make you happy. He, ok, Jason is just following his own instincts. Only you can decide if you want to listen to him.

John: Mr. Morgan.

Jason: I'm here to make you an offer.

John: I'm a federal officer. You sure you don't want to rephrase that?

Jason: I have information about operations in Chicago and Miami.

John: Hmm. Those are mob central. Also your main competition. You looking to broaden your business?

Jason: I have no interests outside of Port Charles.

John: All right, tell me what you know.

Jason: I'll give you half the information up front and the other half when you tell Carly you never want to see her again.

Ric: Well, we all know how important paperwork is for a transfer, right?

Alexis: Right, and if files were to be misplaced, then it would give me some more time to look over the evidence and find grounds to reopen the case.

Ric: That's right, wouldn't be able to transfer her. Did I ever mention how much I hate inefficiency?

Alexis: Your department has the utmost integrity.

Ric: Yeah, I know, but all the same, things always slip through the cracks.

Alexis: Thank you. I don't know how to thank you.

Ric: Thank you for what? We both know I’d never obstruct justice.

Alexis: No, never.

Ric: Go.

Jax: Look, I'm willing to post bail for Skye’s release.

Ric: She's an escaped felon, Jax. That's not a consideration.

Jax: Yeah, I realize that, but, you know, she was railroaded by your department.

Ric: Look, we both know that she was spending a great deal of time in your apartment -- days, maybe longer. I think the best thing for you to do right now is leave. The longer you hang out, the worse you make her look, ok? Do her a favor, go.

Jax: Skye's innocent.

Ric: I'm sure she is, but let Alexis do her job and stay out of it.

Edward: Mr. D.A., I've come to see my granddaughter.

Ric: Mr. Quartermaine.

Edward: And what the hell are you doing here?

Jax: I'm trying to help Skye. I'll find another way.

Edward: Got a minute? I just want to tell you I think you're doing very, very good work in this town.

Ric: Thank you, Mr. Quartermaine.

Edward: In fact, it's so good, I'm even thinking of doing a major contribution to your re-election campaign.

Ric: Really?

Edward: Mm-hmm.

Ric: Why, that's very generous of you.

Edward: In fact, I might even bankroll the whole thing, if I can see justice served where my family's concerned.

Skye: That letter was forged. Luke knows that I didn't kill Ross.

Alexis: The experts agreed it was Luke’s handwriting.

Skye: Well, then somebody forced him to write it.

Alexis: I'm going to have it re-examined. Ric had it analyzed for penmanship. I want it searched for other forensic clues.

Skye: Like D.N.A.?

Alexis: Could be the leverage we need to get your conviction overturned.

Courtney: Grace. Hi, it's Courtney Matthews. Listen, it's about Diego. I really hate to say this, but I don't think that I’m the right person to keep him. You know, I really just -- I don't have the space for a 17-year-old. So can you pick him up tonight? Thank you. And listen, I'm really sorry again.

Diego: Hey.

Courtney: Hey.

Diego: Um -- I need to say something.

Courtney: Listen, Diego, everything's going to be ok.

Diego: I've been a real jerk, and I'm sorry. You're the coolest guardian I’ve ever had, and I don't want to leave.

John: If your competition in Miami and Chicago knew that you were trading information with a federal prosecutor, you'd be dead by morning.

Jason: You want the deal or not?

John: Wow. Here I thought Sonny was the only man in Carly’s life. You'd do anything for her, wouldn't you?

Jason: You want to add another win to your record, Durant? Walk away from Carly and it's yours.

John: If you care so much about Carly, why do you want me to abandon her?

Jason: She doesn't need you.

John: Oh, I think she'd be devastated.

Jason: I think she's going to be more hurt when she finds out that you're using her.

John: Oh, but I'm not. I'm just trying to get to know my daughter, build a relationship with her.

Jason: You want to send her husband to prison.

John: I'm not going to turn my back on my child just so you can feel safe in business.

Jason: If Carly means anything to you, you would take the deal and walk away. I can give you enough information to get you the biggest score of your career.

John: No deal.

Jason: You just proved everything I thought about you is true.

Carly: I know my father could be lying about wanting to get to know me and it could all be a cover to move in on you. That's why I want this test. If I bring him this picture with the information on the back and he uses it to make a bust, then we know. We know that his job is much more important than a relationship with me.

Sonny: Even if your father ignores the information, it doesn't mean -- doesn't guarantee that he's trustworthy. He could just realize that it's a trap.

Carly: Yeah, but we're not going to ever know until we try. Sonny, maybe he regrets spending his whole life working.

Sonny: Deserve everything, expect nothing.

Carly: I will. I promise.

Sonny: Hey, hey. Just be careful.

Carly: I will.

Diego: I never should've kissed you.

Courtney: Oh, I agree.

Diego: I didn't do it because I wanted you -- not that you aren't hot.

Courtney: I know what you meant.

Diego: Look, I do crazy things sometimes, ok, things that don't make sense.

Courtney: Maybe it's because you're not happy here.

Diego: Are you kidding? You're great.

Courtney: Ok, then why are you sabotaging your chances to stay?

Diego: Nothing good ever lasts for me. What's the point of getting used to something if it's going to end, right?

Courtney: Diego, not everything has to end. You know, sometimes if you work at it, things, they turn out the way you hoped.

Diego: If you'll let me stay, I'll be better. I know I got a good thing here. I can make it work.

[Knock on door]

Courtney: Hi.

Grace: I came as soon as I could.

Diego: Why did you stand there and let me spill my guts? Why didn't you say it was too late?

Courtney: I'm sorry I made you come all the way over here.

Grace: We always knew this was a temporary placement.

Courtney: No, no, what I meant was I’ve changed my mind, ok? Diego can stay.

Diego: Are you serious?

Courtney: Well, if you're serious about wanting to make it work.

Diego: Absolutely. I'll be good as gold, perfect behavior, I promise.

Edward: You know, I think we've got some unfinished business.

Ric: If you're referring to your offer to make a generous contribution to my re-election campaign, Mr. Quartermaine, you can just call my office. I'm sure they'll tell you where to send the check.

Edward: Well, I was hoping for a more personal approach.

Ric: Mr. Quartermaine, bribing the district attorney to get your granddaughter released could get you in a lot of trouble.

Edward: I want to see her. And I truly hope she hasn't been mistreated?

Ric: It's one visitor at a time.

Heather: Alexis is on her way out. Go ahead, I'll wait here.

Skye: Hi.

Edward: Hi.

Skye: Thanks for coming. I'm so sorry about all this.

Edward: No, don't you dare apologize for not wanting to be locked up in a cell. It's your toughness that I love about you. Now, can I have a hug?

Skye: Oh, this just keeps getting worse.

Edward: We're going to clear your name.

Skye: Don't you mean your name?

Edward: I am very proud to call you Quartermaine, and so was Lila.

Skye: I miss her.

Edward: Me, too. She'd want you exonerated like the rest of us, too. What did Alexis say?

Skye: Well, she's requesting a D.N.A. analysis of the letter that Luke supposedly wrote, and if we can prove that he was forced to write that --

Edward: Whoa, whoa, listen, Skye, please, don't make this difficult on yourself. You got to open your eyes. Luke is the one who put you here. He's the one responsible for everything that's happened to you.

Alexis: Luke's letter is what assured Skye’s conviction. I'm going to get it re-examined.

Ric: What are you looking for?

Alexis: D.N.A. or anything that can link that letter to someone else.

Ric: Yeah, page Dr. Steven Webber. I need him at the station immediately.

Sonny: Ok.

Jason: Hey, hey. Max told me Carly left?

Sonny: She went to go meet with Durant.

Jason: Ok, you know what, this guy could pass 50 tests, he's still a threat, Sonny.

Sonny: I know! What do you want me to do?

Jason: Carly's not going to see it that way.

Sonny: We got to deal with it as it comes!

Jason: I already did.

Sonny: What do you mean you already did?

Jason: I offered Durant information on our competing interests in Chicago and Miami.

Sonny: Ok, first of all, are you willing to start a war over this?

Jason: Durant turned me down, Sonny. That means you're the real target.

Sonny: You don't think you're jumping to conclusions?

Jason: No, Chicago and Miami are huge. And if Durant is willing to pass up a score like this, he knows that Carly is going to give him enough information to take you down.

Sonny: You're as crazy over this as Carly is.

Jason: I'm trying to protect us!

Sonny: You know what, you have never cooperated with the law! Now -- look, I've seen you in an interrogation room for hours and you don't even open your mouth! Now all of a sudden you're giving up information on a rival organization! What is -- why? Why, Jason? What are you so afraid of?

John: Well --

Carly: Hey.

John: Thank you both for coming.

Carly: Yeah, I see you invited mama.

John: Yeah, and I'm glad she came. Can I get you -- can I get you guys something to drink?

Bobbie: Actually, I own this place, so drinks are on me. Penny? Could we get some drinks? I'll have coffee.

John: I'll have an Arnold Palmer.

Carly: Me, too.

Bobbie: I just remembered -- you always used to drink iced tea and lemonade.

John: Arnold Palmer.

Bobbie: Just like you, Carly.

Carly: Yeah. You like potato chips?

John: Oh, love them. I have a weakness for junk food.

Carly: Me, too.

Bobbie: So, Carly, what have you got there?

Carly: Oh, these are Michael’s latest drawings.

Bobbie: Ooh, can I see?

Carly: Oh, yeah, look at them, they're great.

John: Michael draws?

Carly: Mm-hmm, among other things. He plays hockey, he plays soccer, and he's in the gifted class at school.

John: You must be very proud.

Carly: Yeah, my kids mean everything to me.

Bobbie: Oh, this one's adorable.

Carly: Yeah -- oh, he did that one today. And then look at this. This one's great.

Bobbie: This is you!

Carly: Yeah, I know.

Bobbie: With your new hair!

Carly: I know.

John: What is that, a monkey?

Bobbie: That's Morgan.

John: No -- sorry.

Grace: I'm sorry, Courtney, I have another appointment.

Jax: Look, think about what you're getting yourself into.

Courtney: It's up to Diego.

Jax: You don't want to keep him out of guilt.

Diego: I want to stay.

Courtney: Well, then you're staying.

Grace: We appreciate everything you're doing for the youth of Port Charles. Be good, Diego.

Diego: Of course. Night, Ms. Powell.

Grace: Good night.

Courtney: Bye.

Grace: Bye.

Courtney: Well, I don't know about you guys, but I am starving.

Jax: So that's it, huh, end of conversation? You don't want to talk about it?

Diego: You lost, ok? Give it up.

Courtney: Hey.

Jax: You sure about this?

Courtney: I have to do what I think is right.

Jax: Ok. I've said my piece. I'm not going to tell you what to do. I think you're in over your head. Don't make her regret this, ok?

Diego: So, when's dinner?

Alexis: I'd like a second analysis of Luke’s letter from Skye’s trial. It's already been check for forgery and fingerprints.

Steven: But not for D.N.A.?

Ric: Well, I'm sure we have Luke’s on file. He's been involved in a few cases over the years.

Steven: Great, I’ll see if I can get a match.

Alexis: I'm looking for someone else's D.N.A., not a match for Luke. I need proof that he was forced to write that letter.

Steven: All right.

Skye: Look, I know you never liked Luke.

Edward: He's a pathological liar who'll give you up in a heartbeat to get what he wants.

Skye: Why would Luke want me in prison? We're business partners, we're friends, we're --

Edward: He's a man who used you to make his casino a success while he's gallivanting around the world. He wouldn't let you report the Duncan murder to the police, now, would he?

Skye: It was to protect me.

Edward: Protect you? He sent the letter that convinced the jury that you're guilty! He left you to rot in jail!

Skye: No, Luke has not been able to rescue me yet because it means that he is in danger himself, ok?

Edward: Oh, yeah. Luke Spencer isn't in any danger. He's with the love of his life. Nothing and no one is going to keep Luke and Laura apart.

Heather: Hello, Laura. How are you feeling? Talkative, as usual, I see. I know there's been a lot of activity downstairs, but the Quartermaines have absolutely no idea you're here. Things are going well, except Luke escaped from the asylum. Don't worry, he won't get far. He's heavily medicated. And I'm sure that someone will pick him up and get him back to St. Gabriel’s where he's safe. Skye will be on her way back to Pentonville by morning. I told you the plan would work. The police are more convinced than ever that Skye killed Detective Duncan. And then Luke’s letter proves it. Of course, it wasn't easy getting him to write the thing, but drugs can be very persuasive. All I had to do was pop it in the mail. It was almost too easy. With Skye back in prison, Luke will be free to come back to us once and for all -- just as soon as I'm ready.

Jason: Sonny, Durant is going to use Carly whether he cares about her or not. He proved that today by not taking my deal.

Sonny: Well, we'll be careful, then.

Jason: Well, you know what, eventually, this is going to come down to a matter of survival -- kill or be killed.

Sonny: We'll handle it.

Jason: All right, look, you -- you want to know what I’m afraid of? That when the time comes for you to give the order, I -- I cannot be the one to kill Carly’s father. That's why I’m fighting this. So you're going to have to get somebody else or you're going to have to kill him yourself.

Bobbie: Do you notice how Michael almost always makes himself as tall as Sonny?

Carly: I know. He loves his father more than anything.

John: Oh, even more than his mom?

[Pager beeps]

Carly: No.

Bobbie: Oh. The hospital.

Carly: Oh, do you have to go?

Bobbie: I'm sorry.

John: Well, I'm glad you came. I hope we can do this again, huh?

Bobbie: I'd like that. I'll call you.

Carly: Ok.

John: Wow. Well, this has been great, huh, looking at Michael’s pictures, laughing, and --

Carly: Yeah, it's been -- it's been good just to enjoy the evening.

John: Oh, come on, it's more than that. I know Sonny must hate that you came here to meet me at all.

Carly: Look, Sonny is really trying to make an effort.

John: Carly, I know this is a huge leap of faith. I just want to earn your trust.

Carly: So just let's give it a little time, ok?

John: All right.

Carly: You know what, I actually should get going, too --

John: Really?

Carly: Because I like to be home for Morgan’s bath.

John: Ok.

Carly: It's been -- it's been good.

John: Yeah.

Carly: Yeah.

John: I'll call you?

Carly: Ok, that sounds great. Ok. Ok, thanks.

John: Bye.

Carly: Bye.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Sonny: There might be another way to stop Durant.

Lois: Why the big emergency, Sonny?

Lorenzo: You are a means to an end for that man.

Jason: Durant is using you.

Carly: He's my father.

John: I'm about to make the first major strike on Sonny Corinthos.
