Elizabeth: I thought we had everything under control. You denied giving Mary the meds that killed her. Lucky and I backed you up. This should be over, and instead it's just getting worse! And now Lucky’s been suspended from the force for lying.

Lucky: Elizabeth, hey, Nikolas is being prosecuted for shooting Mary, and you're being charged with overdosing her with meds.

Elizabeth: And I'm under suspicion for being part of the cover-up.

Emily: I honestly don't see how this could get worse --

[Glass shatters]

Nikolas: Enough already!

Officer: So how do you like casa de hellhole so far?

Faith: The strip search was fun. We'll have to do it again sometime.

Officer: Oh, you got a smart mouth. You might be careful how you flap it. You're in with one tough cookie. Nighty-night.

Skye: Can't a person get any sleep around here? Oh, my God. And here I thought being in prison was hell on earth.

Faith: Nothing to worry about, princess. You and I are going to be the best of cellmates.

Skye: Is this just a coincidence or someone's idea of a bad joke?

Faith: I knew you were in here. I made sure we wound up together.

Jax: I'm looking for a woman -- blond, attractive. I've been following her and I lost her somewhere in this vicinity. I thought she may have taken some kind of retreat. I know it's a long shot, but I really, really need to find this woman.

Nun: I'm sorry to disappoint you, Mr. Jacks, but people aren't allowed to stay in our convent unless they're members of our order -- Sisters of the Heavenly Body.

Sam: I know I probably went a little bit overboard, but this stuff is really great and I couldn't --

Jason: Sam, Sam -- Sonny asked me to give this to you.

Sam: What is it?

Jason: Just read it.

[Jason sighs]

Sam: This says exactly what I was afraid of. Sonny basically wants custody of our daughter. No, forget it, Jason. There is no way I'm signing away my rights to our baby.

Jason: That's not what he's asking.

Sam: What do you mean? It is right here in black and white. That's exactly what he's asking.

Jason: He thought it would be easier on both of you if all the legal aspects were just, you know, very clear.

Sam: No, Sonny is not trying to do what's best for me. Sonny doesn't want to deal with me at all. He wants my name on a piece of paper so he can have custody of our daughter as soon as she's born.

Sonny: Who are you, and how come you're asking questions about my wife?

Nikolas: Mary Bishop killed two people, tried to kill Emily, and stole months of my life. And let me tell you, it stops right now. We're not going to -- we're not going to sit around and complain anymore about what happened. We're going to take action right now!

Lucky: Ok. What do you have in mind?

Nikolas: Emily and I committed to be married, so let's plan a wedding.

Elizabeth: Nikolas, being optimistic is all well and good, but we need to look at the big picture here.

Lucky: Which is?

Elizabeth: Mary was murdered after you shot her and sent her to the hospital. You guys start planning a wedding, it's going to make it look like you don't care.

Lucky: Why should they? Mary tried to ruin their lives.

Emily: You know what she means.

Elizabeth: It looks like we all got Mary out of the way so the two of you could get married.

Nikolas: So what? That's ridiculous! I'm so tired of --

Lucky: Ok, wait, wait. Maybe some people will buy into it, maybe even D.A. Lansing.

Emily: Nikolas, we need to be smart about this. We don't want to hurt ourselves even more.

Nikolas: The intelligent thing -- the only thing -- to do is to show the entire world that we have nothing to hide, that you and I love each other and that our friends believe in us as much as you and I believe in each other, ok? We do that, we stick to that, we hold our heads up high, and no one can hurt us. Ok?

[Emily sighs]

Emily: We need to make a guest list.

Lucky: We need to find a space.

Elizabeth: Hire a caterer?

Emily: Start thinking about decorations?

Nikolas: Much better attitude. Thank you.

Elizabeth: If a wedding is what you guys want, then that's what you're going to get. Come on, Lucky, let's go.

Lucky: Where?

Elizabeth: Well, you're the best man; I'm the maid of honor. That means we do all the grunt work.

Lucky: Oh.

Elizabeth: I'm going to call you about a florist because I think I know this perfect one.

Lucky: Did you hear that? She said "a florist." We're going to go find a florist. If you ever doubted my love, there's the proof.

Emily: I never doubted it for a second. Bye.

Nikolas: Bye.

[Emily sighs]

Emily: I already knew --

Nikolas: What?

Emily: How much I loved you. But I never understood how much I needed you until this very minute.

Nikolas: I waited too long to make you my wife. I'm not going to let anything stand in the way of that.

Faith: I took a deal on the charges against me, got the maximum sentence.

Skye: Well, it's the least you deserve for shooting Jax.

Faith: I asked the warden to arrange for us to be in a cell together, and I guess she was feeling cooperative because here I am.

Skye: Why on earth would you want to be in a cell with me?

Faith: You got a problem with this?

Skye: I'll talk to the warden in the morning. I'll be sure to get other accommodations.

Faith: Oh, really? You swing that much weight around here, do you?

Skye: Let's just say I’ve learned how to play the game.

Faith: Mm-hmm. Matter of necessity, I guess. I guess you had to, you know, when Luke ran off and left you to shift for yourself.

Skye: Luke will be back.

Faith: You're delusional.

Skye: Am I?

Faith: Mm-hmm.

Skye: Well, how about you? Didn't I hear something about how Justus was kicked off your case due to a conflict of interest?

Faith: So what?

Skye: So, if you actually think that you're in a relationship or that he's going to wait for you, think again.

Faith: We're going to run away together.

Skye: Oh, yeah. He ran, all right -- in the opposite direction.

Faith: You better watch your mouth, buttercup.

Skye: Hey! You watch it! People in prison learn to hit back twice as hard.

Sam: Can't believe I fell for it.

Jason: Ok, just take it easy, Sam.

Sam: No, you should've seen me this afternoon, Jason. Sonny comes over all sweet, wanting to make everything ok, saying he was going to do anything I needed, and I ate it up.

Jason: Ok, he's just trying to prove --

Sam: And I love the fact here that he states that he's going to pay child support. He's willing to pay each month what I could live off in a year, and I know why -- because he wants me to shut up and take the money. He thinks that I am going to sell him my daughter.

Jason: He's trying to take financial responsibility for his child.

Sam: Maybe they're right. Maybe what they say is true, that pregnancy really does affect your ability to think, because I am a conned woman, Jason. I should've seen this coming a mile away. Sonny says all the right things, lulls me into a sense of false security, and then -- bam -- here comes the contract, ready to sign, right on schedule. Most grifters want your money. Sonny -- Sonny wants to take my child!

Jason: She's his child, too.

Sam: You cannot think this is right, Jason.

Jason: It's not about taking sides.

Sam: Sonny knows I can't fight him. He's got money and resources. He has enough money to pay an army of lawyers, and it's not like I have lived a squeaky-clean life, Jason. Now I've lost my chance to run. I gave it up because I trusted him, and then he turns around and now he wants to steal my child. And the only one I can trust is you, but you're not going to help me, obviously, because you think --

Jason: Hey, hey, hey, you need to calm down. I'm not going to let anyone take your baby away from you.

Steven: I just moved to Port Charles. I met your wife and kids at the pier and then ran into Carly later at the roadhouse.

Carly: Yeah, the car got a flat. Max was fixing the tire.

Steven: We talked, played a little pool.

Carly: Sonny, this is Steven Webber. I told you about him. Elizabeth's brother?

Steven: And then, after Carly left, I just asked the bartender a couple questions about her. That's all there was to it, till Carly fell and sprained her wrist, and I suggested that she come in and get checked out.

Sonny: You always looking for new patients?

Steven: I'm sorry, your wife got hurt and I was helping her. That's what doctors do.

Sonny: Oh.

Steven: Yeah, and in the interest of full disclosure, I will be consulting with the PCPD.

Sonny: Consulting on what?

Steven: It's my specialty. Forensics.

Sonny: You know who I am?

Steven: Yeah. You're Sonny Corinthos.

Sonny: Ok.

Steven: You run a coffee import business --

Sonny: Right.

Steven: And you allegedly have certain illegal operations.

Sonny: Let me explain something to you. I don't like cops or people who work for them to try to get to me through my family. You understand what I'm saying?

Steven: Ok, as I was actually about to tell Carly, I’m here strictly as a doctor.

Sonny: Oh.

Steven: Try to rest your arm as much as possible. An over-the-counter medication should be enough for the pain.

Carly: Ok, thanks.

Steven: And as far as billing's concerned, this one's on the house. Consider it repayment for a very interesting evening.

Sonny: You think it's a good idea befriending a cop?

Skye: Hey, when you're in prison, you learn to make friends, not enemies. That way you're guaranteed of getting out of here alive.

Faith: I'm getting out of here, all right, sooner than anybody thinks.

Skye: What are you going to do, Faith, pick the lock with a hairpin?

Faith: What, you're telling me that breaking out hasn't even crossed your mind?

Skye: This is a maximum-security prison. If it even looks like you're thinking about breaking out, they throw you into solitary for a month.

Faith: Well, gee, then I guess the trick is don't inform anyone of your plans.

Skye: Forget it, Faith. No one gets out of here.

Faith: A girl can try, can't she? Oh. What do we have here? Looks like this might go someplace.

Skye: Get away from there!

Faith: Too bad it's bolted on so -- tightly. Well, well, well. Looks like somebody's been busy after all. What are you going to do, roomie, escape without me?

Courtney: I'm at a crossroads, Sister. I -- I have a decision to make, and I need some time to reflect on it.

Nun: Hmm. Might this decision involve a young man?

Courtney: You're very wise.

Nun: Well, he was here a short while ago, but I protected your solitude.

Courtney: Thank you. You see, this man wants something from me, something that I really want to give him, but if I do, I could deprive a lot of children from getting a large sum of money that I could use to help them. You understand?

Nun: Well, not about the man, nor the money, nor, as a matter of fact, anything you said. But I do understand that you're confused.

Courtney: Very.

Nun: Well, it's almost time for our nightly confessions. Perhaps you would find help by confiding in a priest.

Courtney: Thank you. I mean, I'll try anything.

Nun: God bless.

Jason: Take it easy for a second, and try to take an objective look at what Sonny is really asking.

Sam: He wants custody, Jason.

Jason: No, he wants shared custody, Sam.

Sam: I don't want my daughter living away from me, even if it's across the hall!

Jason: There's nowhere in those papers that Sonny says that he wants the baby to live with him. It's actually just the opposite. He wants visitation. He wants to be able to come see her when he wants.

Sam: And I already told him he could.

Jason: Right. In his mind, there's no harm in putting it down on paper.

Sam: Jason, you don't actually want me to sign this thing, do you?

Jason: Sam, I’m just trying to explain Sonny's position. He does not want to take the baby. He had the papers drawn up so there's no mistakes, no wrong assumptions.

Sam: No wrong assumptions? He wants it in writing that the baby belongs to him!

Jason: You know, this baby isn't a piece of property that you guys get to fight over all the time! You know, this is your child. You need to think about what she needs. You and Sonny owe it to your daughter to work this out.

Sam: I already tried every way I could to show Sonny that I am not trying to cut him out of our daughter's life. I don't think I should have to compromise my rights as her mother to make him feel better.

Sonny: Why didn't you tell me Steven Webber works for the PCPD?

Carly: I just found out.

Sonny: How do you know he wasn't trailing you and got lucky when you got a flat tire?

Carly: Sonny, I didn't tell him anything. It was a harmless game of pool.

Sonny: Nothing's harmless when it comes to the cops.

Carly: Steven isn't a cop.

Sonny: You think it's an accident that they brought in this forensics expert to help them on their cases? Let me help you read between the lines. Your doctor friend is in Port Charles to help my brother make a case against me. Ric and your new buddy Steven are coming after me, and I don't need you to make it easy for them.

Emily: Any preference on colors?

Nikolas: No.

Emily: So, black tie, or more informal?

Nikolas: You choose.

Emily: Live band or D.J.?

Nikolas: Either one. Doesn't matter.

Emily: Nikolas, don't you have an opinion about any of this?

Nikolas: The only thing that I care about is that when that ceremony is over --

Emily: Mm-hmm?

Nikolas: You and I will never be separated again. That's all I care about.

Emily: But what --

Nikolas: What?

Emily: What about traditions, you know? Are you at least willing to follow a few of them?

Nikolas: Sure. What'd you have in mind?

Emily: The one that says an engaged couple shouldn't make love until after they're married?

Nikolas: I haven't heard of that one.

Emily: Well, I have. You know, and I've always thought it was very romantic.

Nikolas: Whoa -- couldn't we follow some other tradition, like something old, new, borrowed, blue? That one? Can't we do that one?

Emily: Well, yeah, we're going to do that one, too. You know, not to mention the throwing of the bouquet and feeding each other the cake and --

Nikolas: Oh, it's -- oh, my God, you got me. I can't believe you got me. That's so --

Emily: No, no, uh-uh. No, Nikolas, women take their weddings very seriously. I thought you would've known that.

Nikolas: What -- we're talking it could be weeks here, months.

Emily: Yeah, well, kind of an incentive to work quickly, isn't it?

Nikolas: More like an incentive to elope right now.

Emily: Oh, come on, Nikolas. It'll be fun. You know, we can still -- we can still kiss and cuddle. Well -- oh, no, you know what? I think that could be a problem. You know --

Nikolas: Why?

Emily: Maybe we should stop sleeping in the same bed. That way we won't be -- we won't be tempted.

Nikolas: I'm tempted just by hearing your name.

Emily: Really?

Nikolas: Yes. I love you with my whole body, and I want to show you how much as often as I possibly can.

Emily: Oh, yeah, well -- see, that's -- that's the thing about traditions. Sometimes they outlive their usefulness and you have to start a new one.

Nikolas: How about this one -- the engaged couple can make love whenever and wherever they want?

Emily: You know what, Nikolas? I have a feeling that one may catch on.

Nikolas: Yeah.

Courtney: Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. It's been months since my last worthy confession.

Jax: Ahem -- go on.

Courtney: Well, my first confession is that I’m using this convent to avoid a man.

Jax: Uh-huh.

Courtney: I know you must think that's terrible, but if you let me explain --

Jax: No, no, that is not so bad. I've heard worse. Now, please continue.

Courtney: I've had carnal thoughts about this man -- waking, sleeping, I mean, all hours of the day and night. Even in this place of sanctity, I -- I can't stop thinking about making love to him.

John: I think I have something that can help. It's a post card from Carly’s mother.

Steven: You're intercepting Carly’s mail?

John: The locals have been doing it for years. I think you can get a D.N.A. sample off that stamp.

Steven: Yeah, I'll give it a try.

John: Will it give us what we need?

Steven: You mean proof that Carly’s your daughter? Assuming that earring I picked up will give me a better sample of Carly’s D.N.A., This should do it.

Bobbie: You never got my post card? Oh, my goodness! I mailed it two weeks ago from Hawaii.

Carly: I -- well, I’ll look out for it. Is my wrist going to be ok?

Bobbie: Oh, it's going to be fine. It's a sprain, nothing more.

Carly: All right.

Bobbie: And Dr. Webber did a very good job of wrapping it.

Carly: Well, great. I'm sure he was probably number one in his class.

Bobbie: Hmm. Try to be more careful, ok? I'm going to check and get you something for the pain. I'll be back, honey.

Carly: Ok, it's all right. It's fine.

Bobbie: All right. Be back.

Carly: Thank you.

Sam: Carly? Hey. You've been really hard to track down. How are you feeling?

Carly: And why are you tracking me down?

Sam: To get your opinion.

Carly: Well, go get some friends of your own.

Sam: Listen, you know how things have been set up with Sonny and the baby -- he will be there, but only when he has time?

Carly: I'm really not the one that you want to be discussing this with.

Sam: Sonny is my baby's father, and I want him to be involved. But he sent me these papers today giving him legal rights to the baby, and he wants me to sign them --

Carly: Ok, well, then why don't you sign them and stop whining about it.

Sam: Is that what you would do?

Sonny: You have Sam sign the papers?

Jason: She panicked. She thinks you're trying to take the baby away from her.

Skye: I've planned everything myself. That tunnel's almost finished. I don't need any partners.

Faith: I can help you dig.

Skye: Or sabotage me.

Faith: Dig yourself. Either way, you are not leaving here without me.

Skye: Yeah, well, you know, it's not as easy as you think, ok? Now, the tunnel -- oh -- the tunnel's going to end at the wood shop, and you -- ugh -- you are not going to know where to go from there.

Faith: Then you'll show me.

Skye: I can't take that chance, Faith. You'll slow me down.

Faith: I don't think I'm making myself clear. You and I are going to escape together or I will make things very uncomfortable for you.

Skye: Huh! "Uncomfortable"? I'm in prison. How much more uncomfortable can they get?

Faith: Oh, I can show you.

Skye: Go ahead.

Faith: Help! Help! Help!

Skye: Oh, my God, shut up!

Faith: Somebody! Get her away from me! Help me! Somebody help me!

Skye: What are you doing?

Faith: Oh, my God!

Officer: What's going on?

Faith: This woman was making sexual advances.

Skye: What? She's lying!

Faith: Look, I am all for live and let live. You know what I mean? People can do whatever they want to, but I don't think I should have to be sharing a cell with a woman of that persuasion.

Skye: What?

Officer: Work it out by yourselves.

Faith: That was just a taste. I'm escaping with you, or I’ll make sure you get busted for it.

Skye: Fine. You're in.

Jax: These carnal thoughts you're having -- could you describe them? Yeah, in detail.

Courtney: No, no, Father. They're much too embarrassing.

Jax: Well, I -- I can't give absolution if I don't know what you've done.

Courtney: I'm in the garden praying, and this man comes up behind me and puts his hand on my shoulder, and I know it's him, because -- because my body starts to shake and quiver. And he -- he tears off my veil and starts kissing my face and neck. And I know that I should scream, but I'm enjoying it way too much. I'm sorry, Father. I can't tell you the rest.

Jax: Oh, no, no, but you must. It's for your own good.

Courtney: Maybe next time. I -- I’ll say a whole rosary for my penance.

Sonny: Did you explain to Sam that the legal agreement is for her benefit?

Jason: I explained it to her. She didn't see it that way.

Sonny: What did she want, more child support? Is that what --?

Jason: It's not about paying for the baby, Sonny.

Sonny: That's not what I'm saying.

Jason: I know, but that's what she thinks you are saying. And I already told her that she had to look at this from your point of view. Now you have to look at it from her point of view. She's had a tough life. She's done a lot of things that she regrets. She already thinks she's going to be a bad mother. And instead of giving her some space and some time to feel safe, you're pushing this paper on her that seems to give you all the power.

Sonny: All -- no, no. All I want is my name on the birth certificate, which gives me the right to see my kid --

Jason: Right, or else what?

Sonny: Whenever I want!

Jason: Or else what?

Sonny: "Or else what?" What do you mean, "or else what?"

Jason: What if Sam doesn't sign the papers, Sonny? What am I supposed to do? Throw her out? go to court?

Sonny: Well --

Jason: You know, I've been through two custody fights in my lifetime, and it was torture for everyone involved, especially the kid! Hey, I’m not -- I'm not saying that Sam is right. I'm saying that she's scared and she's hurt, and what do you do when you're scared? You either run or you fight. Is that what you really want?

Sonny: No, I don't want to hurt Sam. I just want to protect my place as the baby's father.

Sam: You don't think after Sonny and I made a child together I deserve a little bit more than a bunch of legal language and a sticker, Carly, a sticker that says "sign here"? I'm not trying to make any kind of claim on Sonny, but I don't think I should be treated like an enemy.

Carly: Sam, you do what you want. Ok, but Sonny's not walking away from one of his kids.

Sam: Ok! And I don't have a problem with that, Carly. I want our daughter to be a part of his life. He refuses to trust me.

Carly: Oh, gee, I wonder why.

Sam: Ok, I can understand Sonny having a problem with me, but I think Jason deserves better, ok?

Carly: Let me give you one little piece of advice here. When it comes to Jason and Sonny, do not take sides.

Elizabeth: So the Quartermaines had a spring party last year, and the food was fantastic. Any chance you caught the name of the caterer? Right, I’ll just ask somebody else.

Lucky: You know what? A lot of this still doesn't make any sense.

Elizabeth: It's romantic, Lucky. All these obstacles, and Emily and Nikolas are still getting married.

Lucky: No, no, I'm not talking about the wedding.

Elizabeth: All right, then, what are you talking about?

Lucky: The nurse, the one that turned up at the very last minute saying she was there the night that Mary died.

Elizabeth: She told the truth. That is what happened.

Lucky: I just don't know why I didn't notice her. I was right there.

Elizabeth: So do you know of any good photographers from the time you worked as one, hmm? Oh, my gosh, you know what? It just -- God, it just occurred to me -- how can I start booking people if I don't even have a wedding date? It's less than three weeks away. There's no way this is going to happen.

Lucky: I just can't -- I can't walk away without trying to do something.

Elizabeth: And even then it's going to be pushing it but, you know, one way or another, we are going to see Emily walk down that aisle.

Lucky: No, no, one way or another, Emily’s not going to go to prison. That's --

Elizabeth: Excuse me. Did you just say "prison"? Because I thought we were making wedding plans.

Lucky: You know what? You plan the wedding, Elizabeth, all right? I -- I’m going to investigate Mary’s murder.

Elizabeth: Lucky, please. This could cost you your career.

Lucky: No, I don't care. Emily is in serious danger. Closing our eyes and planning a wedding is not going to make things any better. Finding the killer will.

Emily: Yeah, maybe I should move home.

Nikolas: What? What brought that on?

Emily: What? Planning a wedding is very stressful, Nikolas. If I flip out and turn into Bridezilla, I don't want you --

Nikolas: Bridezilla?

Emily: There to witness it.

Nikolas: What is it you're afraid that I'll see?

Emily: Who knows? You know, crying jags, screaming tantrums because the flowers I want are out of season. Indecision over shoes --

Nikolas: Emily, Emily --

Emily: And dresses. Total meltdown -- oh.

Nikolas: Even if you change overnight into a screaming hysteric who thinks that her choice of flowers is going to alter the course of history, I'm selfish enough to ride that out.

Emily: Oh, you're selfish?

Nikolas: Yes, yes, see, I’m getting the girl of my dreams. You're getting a felon, a bankrupt felon.

Emily: The man, the prince of my dreams. Seriously, Nikolas, it should have meaning for both of us. And, you know, I was thinking, would you mind if we got married in that little church in the woods where we made our promises to each other?

Nikolas: That little church is exactly where I want to marry you.

Emily: So -- we know where we're going to have the ceremony.

Nikolas: Yeah, but, you know, if we were sane, we'd elope. You know that.

Emily: You know, my family's crazy, but I love them, and I want them to be there.

Nikolas: Yeah, and they're about to be my family, too. I should probably start getting used to them.

Emily: You really don't mind?

Nikolas: No -- well, I mean, if we're standing at the altar about to pledge our lives to each other and one of the Quartermaines jumps to their feet to object, then, yeah, then -- then I’ll mind. Anything short of that I think I can handle.

Emily: Yeah? So we're doing this.

Nikolas: Yeah.

Emily: We're getting married.

Nikolas: That's right. And nothing and no one is ever going to stop us.

 [Knock on door]

Carly: Come in.

Steven: Hey.

Carly: Hey.

Steven: I wanted to make sure you got this.

Carly: Where'd you get that?

Steven: Jake's. It must have fallen off while you were scorching me at pool.

Carly: Oh. Well, thank you. I'm actually glad that you came back. I wanted to talk to you. I wanted to explain to you why Sonny acted the way that he did.

Steven: Are you going to apologize for him?

Carly: No, I'm going to explain.

Steven: Go ahead.

Carly: Sonny has made a lot of enemies through the years, and it's just -- he cannot let his guard down.

Steven: It's a tough way to live.

Carly: Yeah, well, I'm sorry that while you were wrapping my wrist you ended up in the line of fire.

Steven: Forget about the apology. I know how you can make it up to me.

Carly: Did I say that's what I wanted to do?

Steven: Give me a rematch at pool. You spot me three balls. Three balls. I swear I'll beat you.

Carly: Oh -- ok, let's just say that running into you really does turn out to be a coincidence. I'll spot you five balls. I'm still going to beat you silly.

Steven: I'd call that a great incentive.

Carly: Ok.

Steven: Hey, I’m not trying to arrest your husband. The only time I want to see him again is when he comes in for his annual checkup.

Sam: Has Jason been here?

Sonny: Yeah.

Sam: Yeah, so then you know I won't sign the papers.

Sonny: Yeah, that's what he said.

Sam: All right, well, what are you going to do now, Sonny?

Sonny: This is really not a good place to be talking about this.

Sam: Oh, really?

Sonny: Yeah. What do you think I'm going to do? You think I'm going to take you to court and claim you're an unfit mother? Why would I do that? Why would I deliberately want to hurt the mother of my child; try to take my child away from her mother? Why would I do that?

Sam: All I know is you came to me this afternoon.

Sonny: Yeah?

Sam: Yeah.

Sonny: Right.

Sam: And you asked me what I wanted. And I told you two very simple things, Sonny. I told you I needed you to trust me and I needed space. And you promised you were going to give it to me, and then you turn around behind my back and have a legal document drawn up that gives you control of our daughter.

Sonny: Did you even read the papers, or did you just --

Sam: It says that you want custody! What else is there?

Sonny: Yeah, legal custody! Legal custody, which says that, you know, I get a say in, you know, where she goes to school, where she lives. If, God forbid, something ever happened to her, if she got in an accident, I'd be able to sign over for medical care. You know what I mean? I want -- I want our daughter to have my name; to be part of my family. The last thing I want is to take her away from you.

Sam: Well, all I know is what I see, and the longer this goes on, the more possessive you become. Drawing up documents? Protecting your rights? You have proven that you do not trust me, Sonny. So how the hell am I supposed to trust you?

 [Gasp]

Faith: That's amazing. How far do you think you dug?

Skye: About 15 feet from the wood shop.

Faith: You did it all with this?

Skye: Gives you an idea how badly I want out of here. Now, here. Wipe yourself off with that. I don't want us to give ourselves away.

Faith: Ahem.

Skye: Whew.

Faith: So, tell me, doll, you ever get lonely at night?

Bobbie: So you're going straight home?

Carly: Yeah.

Bobbie: Ok, well, then, I'll call you when I get a break.

Carly: Ok. See you.

Bobbie: Bye, honey.

Carly: Oh, Mom? Mama? You were right.

Bobbie: About everything? Ooh, ooh, ooh! What a wonderful thing to say!

Carly: No, about finding my father. I realized it was a mistake.

Bobbie: Why now?

Carly: I just realized no good could come from it, you know? I already lived my whole life without him.

Bobbie: Does that mean you found him? Do you know who your father is?

John: Doc. What took you so long?

Steven: I ran everything twice. I wanted to make sure.

John: Your results? If Carly is my daughter, she could be my ticket to ride straight to the mayor's office.

Steven: And people say you have no heart?

John: Oh, there will be a big father-daughter emotional reunion, don't worry. But before Carly’s tears have dried, she'll be putting her own husband behind bars.

Steven: This is tough to read, John. Do you want me to just give you the bottom line?

John: Sure. This medical stuff gives me a headache, anyway.

Steven: Carly's not your daughter.

Sonny: I am willing to provide for you --

Sam: Provide for me -- here we go. That's right, Sam’s a tramp. Right, Sonny?

Sonny: That's not --

Sam: A grifter. Pay her off. At least Jax had the decency to be upfront about it. He started low, though -- 2 million, I think it was. It wasn't until before the paternity test came back that he was willing to go higher than that -- 5 million, I think it was. So what about you, Sonny, huh? You willing to go higher than that? 6 million? 10 million? $10 million to own your child free and clear? Is that what you're going to do?

Sonny: That's not what I'm talking about here.

Sam: That's exactly what you're talking about.

Sonny: No, it's not!

Sam: You have to have all the power. If you can't use money; you threaten. And if threats don't work, you do something worse -- you make the person like you. You make them love you. You trick them into doing whatever it is that you want them to do. Come on, Sonny. Turn on the charm. Flash those dimples. Make me believe that I am someone special.

Sonny: Look, I hurt you, all right? I'm sorry --

Sam: No, I am not hurt right now, Sonny! I am mad! I am mad because I am sick of being an inconvenience. I am sick of being the mistake that won't go away!

Sonny: Look, I want what's best for my --

Sam: I am not going to ask you for anything, and it's my --

Sonny: I want what's best for my child!

Sam: It's my child, too!

Jason: Stop! This has to end!

Sonny: Then end it now! Get her to sign the damn papers!

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Faith: We both have needs.

Jax: I'm not actually a priest.

Nun: Then you're a predator.

Sam: Don't do this to me, Jason.

Carly: I never had a father.

Bobbie: But you know something.

John: You're sure? I just made an interesting discovery. I wanted to share it with you.
