Stefan: Leave Emily to me.
Ric: Finish it. You'll feel better. I love you so much.
Michael: Mommy's gone.
Lorenzo: How would it be good for my business if I kidnapped Sonny's pregnant wife?
Carly: You're never going to take this baby from me because you'll have to kill me first.
Sonny: Hi.
Nikolas: Lydia didn't just see my face in a magazine and decide to stop by, did she?
Lydia: Well, as a matter of fact, I did.
Nikolas: Before or after my uncle asked you to visit?
Stefan: What possible motive could I have for bringing Lydia here?
[Nikolas chuckles]
Nikolas: You -- my uncle has a motive for which side of the cup he sips from, so proceed with caution.
Lydia: Well, if you won't believe Stefan, then believe me. I did not show up here at your uncle's invitation.
Nikolas: But he made such a point of welcoming you and encouraging me to spend time with you. Could it be that he finds you appropriate?
[Lydia laughs]
Lydia: I'm sorry. That's just not something I often hear.
Nikolas: Are you trying to play matchmaker, Uncle? Throwing us together in hopes that I’ll fall madly in love with Lydia, or, more importantly, her inheritance?
Stefan: I know you better than that, Nikolas.
Nikolas: I thought you did. Love can't be bought and emotions can't be manipulated -- mine or hers. Right?
Lydia: Don't worry. Nobody makes me do anything I don't want to.
Nikolas: Good. Now, I have a prior commitment. If you feel that we haven't been gracious hosts, why don't you take Lydia out to see the sights of Port Charles yourself.
Luke: Hi. I'm here to visit a patient, Laura Spencer.
Nurse: Are you on the visitors list?
Luke: Yes, absolutely. I'm Lucky Spencer. She's my cousin, my first cousin. We're close.
Nurse: I'm sorry.
Luke: What -- what do you mean? There's a problem?
Nurse: There's no Laura Spencer in this facility. There never has been.
Summer: Just what do you think is going to happen when Luke finds out that Laura’s not even at Ferncliff?
Cameron: That's a good question. You sent Luke on a wild-goose chase?
Lucky: I'm just trying to buy time.
Cameron: For what?
Lucky: My dad is spinning out of control. I'm afraid he's going to hurt somebody if we don't do something.
Summer: This is just going to infuriate him. He's going to turn around, come charging back here more determined than ever to find Laura, and he's going to hurt whoever he has to in the process. You know that.
Cameron: What if he can't come back?
Lucky: What do you mean?
Cameron: Maybe it's time to have your father committed.
Lucky: Never!
Courtney: Hey, Michael. How you doing?
Michael: Mommy's gone.
Courtney: I know that, honey. We all know that. You know, you, me, your daddy, and Jason -- we are all sad and worried. We're feeling just what you are. And we all want to get her back right away. You know, we will if we all work together.
Carly: They figured it out, Ric. You're done.
Elizabeth: Sonny, what do you want?
Sonny: My wife.
Elizabeth: Why would Carly be here?
Sonny: Your husband knows. Where is he?
Elizabeth: Ric! No, you guys -- you cannot --
Sonny: Look around, Jason.
Elizabeth: Barge in here like this. You know what? This is crazy, Sonny. Carly is not here.
Sonny: Then he took her somewhere else.
Elizabeth: Get out!
Carly: Sonny!
Ric: They can't hear you, Carly.
Carly: Jason!
Ric: Don't you know that by now?
Carly: I'm in here!
Ric: There's no way they're going to get to you!
Carly: No!
Sonny: Someone grabbed Carly from the church right before Jason and Courtney were going to get married.
Elizabeth: You think it was Ric?
Sonny: My business competitors would not kidnap a pregnant woman. Only a twisted psycho would do that. Now, where is Ric? I'm going to find him myself.
Elizabeth: Ric couldn't have done it. He has not left the house.
Sonny: Then where is he now?
Ric: Are you looking for me?
Sonny: Where did you take Carly, you sick bastard?
Sonny: Where's Carly?
Ric: You think I stole your wife?
Sonny: You've done worse.
Ric: No offense, Sonny, but you do have a lot of enemies.
Sonny: Where'd you take her?
Elizabeth: Sonny, will you leave him alone?
Ric: I have absolutely no idea where Carly is.
Sonny: You're lying, Ric.
Ric: You know what, Sonny? I promise you I have no information --
Sonny: Your promises don't mean spit. You know where Carly is. One way or another, you're going to tell me where she is, Ric.
Elizabeth: Ok, will you stop blaming Ric for everything that goes wrong in your life? He had nothing to do with Carly's disappearance. He was with me the entire night. Now, I want both of you to leave.
Ric: I think you should do as my wife asks.
Jason: Let's go.
Sonny: We'll be back.
Ric: Sonny -- I'm sorry Carly's missing. I'd help if I could.
Sonny: Oh --
Ric: That's terrible news about Carly, isn't it?
Elizabeth: Yeah, it's awful, but I can't stand the way Sonny blames you for everything. He just wants a reason to hate you.
Ric: He's just desperate. He's looking for somebody to blame. He's worried about his wife. I'd feel the same way if something like that happened to you.
Cameron: Lucky, your father's obsessed with freeing your mother, but she's not a prisoner. She's ill, and he's only going to make it worse. I don't think he can live with that.
Lucky: We can keep him away from my mom without locking him up.
Cameron: Can you? Look what happened at the hospital. He persuaded Summer to let him go and then immediately went out looking for Laura.
Lucky: It's just -- ok, there's just got to be a better solution, ok?
Cameron: Lucky, your father's in denial. Don't join him there. He needs to believe that this is a Cassadine plot. He can't accept the fact that your mother's sick. He's living in a fantasy because reality is too painful. But that's a sickness in itself, and it can have tragic consequences. Lucky, you got a chance to save your father before he does serious damage -- to himself or to somebody else.
Luke: Look, Pal, I’m not her cousin, all right? I'm her husband. My son had her put here, and I need to talk to her, talk to your doctors. I need to --
Nurse: Leave before I call security.
Luke: Ok, Kong. Chill. It's all right. Sorry to ruffle your trapezoids. I'll check my information, and then I’ll get back to you. Thanks very much.
Lydia: Do you even have a plan, or are you just winging it here?
Stefan: It is necessity for both of us that you marry Nikolas within the year and produce an heir within five or your grandfather's estate will go to charity.
Lydia: Yeah, well, any bright ideas on my next move?
Stefan: Persuade Nikolas to go into the city with you.
Lydia: Now? You just heard him. He doesn't want anything to --
Stefan: Just do it. I need him out of the house for a while.
Lydia: Why? What are you going to do?
Stefan: That's none of your concern. You just cooperate. Don't get in my way. People who do regret it.
Lydia: Why do I believe that?
Stefan: I need a message delivered to Emily Quartermaine. It's urgent.
Luke: Hello? Hello? Hello, you got a visitor trapped in here! Hello, out there! Is somebody there? Come on, open up!
Sonny: Hi. How's my son?
Rachel: Michael's still shut down. Your sister almost got through to him, but then he closed off again.
Sonny: Is it ok if I go in there and see him?
Rachel: Of course. Just remember to be patient and loving, give him time to process what he's been through. When he's strong enough, he'll bring the image back into his conscious mind. He'll do it.
Sonny: We're just trying to find out what happened to my wife.
Rachel: Michael is in a very fragile place. If you push him, he could retreat further.
[pager beeps]
Rachel: I have to go.
Sonny: Hey, buddy. How you doing?
Michael: Mommy's gone.
Sonny: Yeah. We're going to find her. Jason and I -- we're all looking out for her. Max, Marco, all the guys are -- good news is that you can help us. You did something very important tonight. You saw mommy leaving. That's how you're going to help us find her.
Michael: Mommy's gone.
[Sonny sighs]
Sonny: Ok, Mike, you got -- you got to help me out here, buddy, ok, because -- I need you to remember. I need you to remember what you saw at the church. Did you see mommy with someone? Maybe someone you knew?
Elizabeth: You know what? It just infuriates me that Sonny barges in here without a shred of evidence against you.
Ric: Look, he assumes the worst. After what I’ve done, I can't say that I blame him.
Elizabeth: Well, that is unbelievably generous of you.
Ric: I'm turning into quite a generous guy thanks to you.
Elizabeth: Hmm. Are you saying I’m responsible for the new and improved Ric Lansing?
Ric: You do inspire me, Elizabeth. If it's up to me, you'll get everything your heart desires.
Elizabeth: Really?
Ric: Yeah.
Elizabeth: Hmm. Well, right now --
Ric: Mm-hmm?
Elizabeth: My heart desires dinner. So I am generously volunteering to go get takeout at Rosetti's. Hmm?
Ric: Oh, you are an angel from heaven. I knew it all along.
Elizabeth: I'll be back.
Ric: You have money?
Elizabeth: Mm-hmm.
Ric: Ok.
Elizabeth: Bye.
Ric: Bye.
Ric: Be nice. Come here.
Carly: You're disgusting, lying to your wife like that, making her believe you're a decent human being. You know what? Elizabeth might not be my favorite person, but she sure deserves better than you, because you're a psychopath.
Ric: You know what, Carly? You need to not get yourself upset. It's not really good for the baby.
Carly: You know what? It is my baby! And you know nothing about it! Just -- let me go.
Ric: No, I'm sorry, that's not in the cards. But you'll be well taken care of. I got vitamins for you. Got a few healthy snacks here. If you have any cravings, feel free to let me know and I'll be happy to get it for you.
Carly: You really are insane.
Ric: No, I'm completely and totally justified. What's happening right now is Sonny's fault, and he deserves it.
Carly: Sonny knows that you took me.
Ric: Jason made a clean sweep of this house. He didn't find anything.
Carly: Sonny will find me. And when he does, he will kill you. And if he doesn't, I will.
Courtney: Nothing?
Jason: Not a trace. We can't find Carly. We don't even know who took her.
Luke: I know you're there. Are you going to talk or just watch? If you got a fetish for goldfish in a bowl, go to the pet store. Who are you? You're the moose from the desk? Nikolas? Maybe Count Stiff himself?
Cameron: You're getting warmer.
Luke: Oh, God. Dr. Quack. I should have known. Don't you ever give that butterfly net a rest?
Cameron: Step to the other side of the room, Luke.
Luke: Why? You afraid I’ll beat you to a bloody pulp?
Cameron: Just move back.
Luke: Where are the others?
Cameron: Who?
Luke: The others, the posse. Your cohorts. The vigilante committee. And, of course, your lovely mascot Summer. She did a brilliant job of getting me here. You should really give her a raise. Of course, it was probably Nikolas or Lucky's orders.
Cameron: No, it was actually my idea.
Luke: Yours? Oh. Oh, great. So, what kind of innovative therapeutic techniques am I in store for? This scavenger hunt was fun. Are you trying to make me nuts? Because you're a lot better at that than you are at doling out the cure!
Cameron: Luke, the people around you are worried.
Luke: Well, tell them to get a life. Tell them to worry about themselves.
Cameron: Lucky knows you're out of control.
Luke: He thought sending me to the wrong mental institution would put a smile on my face?
Cameron: You're missing the point.
Luke: I'm trying to find my wife! What is the crime?
Cameron: You can't help her, Luke.
Luke: I can!
Cameron: You can’t. No matter how much you want to deny it, the bottom line is it's too late to save Laura. You have to let her go. Forgive yourself, get on with your life. Luke, you have to look to the future. Start thinking about the members of your family you can still be with. But you're going to need help for that. It's not going to just happen magically on its own.
Luke: Ok. So, what is your professional decision, that we should have a group hug and everybody tell me how deeply I've hurt their feelings?
Cameron: Not exactly.
Luke: Well, whatever it is, just get it over with because I want to pay this mental speeding ticket and get back on the road!
Cameron: I'm afraid it's more serious than that. Lucky's agreed to have you committed.
Summer: Lucky, you can't leave it like this.
Lucky: It's already done. There's no point in arguing about it. Can I get some coffee, please?
Summer: Lucky, your father's the most independent man that I know. What do you think it's going to do to take away his freedom, huh? It's not going to heal him, Lucky. It's going to shatter his spirit.
Lucky: Would you just stop acting like you're the only one that knows my dad? You know what? I know when he gets desperate and violent, he gets hugely self-destructive. I hate what is happening, but at least he's somewhere safe.
Summer: Forgive me, Lucky, for saying this, but your father helped change my life, ok? He reminded me what it meant to have self-worth and to have dignity, and I will not forget that.
Lucky: And what else did dad do for you? Just how far did you go on all those dates you pretended to be my mom?
Lydia: That's the woman that practically dragged your brother off to some private rendezvous. Wonder what went wrong.
Nikolas: Does it matter?
Lydia: No, not really. I mean, you know, your brother has a certain blue-collar charm, but he's not my type.
Lucky: My, you work fast.
Lydia: If it's work, you're not doing it right.
Lucky: Hey, Nikolas, we need to talk in private.
Nikolas: Will you excuse us?
Lydia: Yeah. Don't be long.
Lucky: Who is that woman?
Nikolas: Ooh, it's a long story. Unfortunately for my uncle, it's not going to have the ending he had in mind.
Courtney: So, where have you been?
Jason: I went after Alcazar. And then Sonny and I went to Ric. And both of them said they had no idea about Carly’s disappearance.
Courtney: Yeah, as if they'd admit it.
Jason: Alcazar was actually surprised. I'm pretty sure he had no idea Carly’s missing.
Courtney: What about Ric?
Jason: He lies every time he opens his mouth. But there was no trace of Carly at Ric's house and Elizabeth swears he's been with her all night.
Courtney: Unfortunately, the only one who can tell us what happened to Carly is Michael.
Courtney: We have to believe that Carly is alive and that the baby is fine and that we'll find them.
Jason: Yeah. You're shivering. Are you cold?
Courtney: I hadn't even noticed.
Jason: Carly's strong, and she's going to hold on until we find her. I know that.
Courtney: You know, she's -- she's a sister to me. She's not just a friend. God, Jason, she was so excited about our wedding. She wanted to give us the best day of our lives.
Jason: And we'll have that day as soon as Carly comes home.
Ric: I've tried to make you as comfortable as possible. Bathroom has a shower in it. I took the liberty of getting you some maternity clothing --
Carly: I won't be a prisoner, Ric. I will find a way out.
Ric: Think what you want. I know better.
Carly: I'm more than you can handle. You remember when I showed up at your apartment and I drugged you and I tied you up and held you at gunpoint? It was so easy. And I would have shot you, except Sonny came and he talked me down, but that won't happen the next time.
Ric: Carly, I’m the only one who knows that you're in here. So, basically, that means that I’m your lifeline. I'm the only one keeping you and this baby alive.
Carly: It's my baby.
Ric: For now. Come here. Let me untie you. Try to get some rest. See you in the morning, ok? The harder you make this, the worse it's going to be for you. Get some sleep.
Sonny: Michael, I know -- I know it's scary to remember what you saw. But if you tell me who did this, I can go get mommy and bring her back. You understand what I'm saying? Huh? Mike? Michael? Listen to me. You think mommy knows you saw something? Maybe mommy's counting on you to tell me so we can go get mommy and bring her home.
Michael: Mommy's gone.
Sonny: All right, you know what? You don't have to -- you -- no more questions. You don't have to remember anything you don't want to. We're going to find your mom, all right? I promise. Come here, give me a hug. Can you do that? All right.
Emily: I got a message that Nikolas wanted to see me right away.
Stefan: Well, I didn't think you would come at my request.
Emily: You were right. You know, a lie is a bad way to start any conversation.
Stefan: I owe you an apology.
Emily: Oh. And you're actually admitting it? That's a first.
Stefan: I'm not the enemy.
Emily: Let me guess. The family.
Stefan: The Cassadine finances are in serious trouble. Turning them around will require Nikolas' complete and undivided attention.
Emily: If you loved Nikolas at all, you would trust him to do what he thinks is best. But, you know, I guess that's just a concept you're never going to grasp.
Stefan: Emily -- I tried to be sympathetic. Now I'll be blunt. You stay away from Nikolas. I won't tell you again.
Lucky: You know, I just keeping telling myself this is for the best.
Nikolas: Look, Cameron Lewis is a professional. He's treated Luke before. You had to take his recommendation.
Lucky: But locking my father up?
Nikolas: No, get him help.
Lucky: You know what? Summer doesn't feel that way.
Nikolas: Lucky, Summer's just feeling guilty for setting him up, that's all.
Lucky: No. Summer cares about him, and he's done so much for her. She just feels like she owes him.
Nikolas: I'm sure she does.
Lucky: Yeah, that was my response. And then we got into it and said some pretty harsh things.
Nikolas: Summer will see that you did the right thing. You know, if she doesn't, no loss.
Luke: I'm not staying here. There's no way you'll keep me here.
Cameron: Just try, Luke, for your family's sake.
Luke: What, as a thank-you for putting me in a nut house?
Cameron: Lucky loves you. His intentions are good.
Luke: You tell Lucky where to stick his good intentions.
Cameron: I'll talk to you later.
Luke: Well, you better keep an eye on me. I'm like Houdini, you know. I disappear. I disappear fast. Yeah, come on, buckle up the straitjacket and watch me disappear! Bastards.
Luke: I want a room service menu.
Nurse: You have a visitor.
Luke: Really? Well, if that visitor said he's my son, you send him away because I got no son.
Nurse: It's not your son. It's your wife.
Summer: Hello, Luke.
Luke: Well. My first visitor.
Nurse: I still have to clear this.
Summer: It's ok. Go ahead. I'll be fine. He won't hurt me. Will you?
Luke: No, darling, I won't hurt you.
Summer: Sorry that I said I was your wife. It was the only way I could think of to get in here.
Luke: Doesn't matter -- as long as you're here to get me out.
Summer: I came here to tell you that I’m sorry. I didn't want any of this to happen.
Luke: Well, it did, didn't it? And it happened because of you. But that's ok. I forgive you. Just help me escape. Help me.
Sonny: Jason --
Jason: Hey, how's Michael?
Sonny: The same.
Jason: You know, Courtney almost got through to him. Maybe we should let her try again.
Sonny: Carly's out there somewhere waiting for me to get to her. We got nothing.
Jason: I got all our men, every man I know, out looking for her. If they come up with anything, they're going to let us know.
[Sonny sighs]
Jason: Sonny, if no one has a lead soon, maybe you should think about filing a missing person's report.
Sonny: I don't want that idiot Baldwin involved. He's going to screw things up. He's going to get her killed. What are you talking about?
Jason: We're not getting anywhere on our own. And the longer we wait, the less time that the cops are going to have to pick up any kind of trail at all.
Sonny: You think I'm giving them time to get away?
Jason: I don't know. Hey, I don't like the idea of working with the police any more than you do, but they got manpower, they can get search warrants, and maybe that's what it's going to take to find her.
Sonny: All right. If she's not back by morning, I'll think about bringing in the cops. Whoa –
Summer: I tried to talk Lucky out of having you committed.
Luke: I'm not surprised you couldn't. And I don't hold you responsible for his choices. He's lost. He's a Cassadine dupe. But you're not.
Summer: No, not at all.
Luke: Not yet. But this is your chance. This is your chance to prove that they can't control you. Summer, you know me. You know me better than Dr. Quack. Hell, you know me better than my own son. You know that I'm not the kind of crazy that can be cured. You can help me get out.
Summer: I tried to help you before. I got you out of the hospital, and you sent me straight to Lucky to find out where Laura is.
Luke: Yeah, that was because I had no idea how completely against me my son had turned!
Summer: Nobody is to blame here.
Luke: Lucky! Lucky is top of my list.
Summer: He's just trying to help you.
Luke: I'm so sick of people trying to help me. So sick of people thinking they know what's best for me, for Laura.
Summer: He's trying to save the two of you.
Luke: Summer -- you got to help me get out. Summer, you know me. You know I don't belong in here. You know it. Now, you're not going to leave here until we come up with a plan together.
Summer: Luke, I can't --
Luke: You're going to help me. You have to!
Summer: I can't!
Luke: You have to help me!
Summer: I can't!
Luke: All right, all right!
Cameron: Summer, get out of here now.
Luke: No, Summer -- what -- what are you -- don't I -- don't I get a visitor now? I get no visitors? You just going to lock me up and let -- let nobody know where I am? Well, you can't keep me like this! You -- you can't keep me! Summer, don't do this! Summer! Summer, help! Help me! Summer!
Nikolas: Hey.
Emily: Hey.
Nikolas: You all right?
Emily: Yeah. I'm nauseous enough without a wasted boat trip. Stefan tricked me into coming here.
Nikolas: What for?
Emily: He encouraged me to drop you.
Nikolas: How much encouragement did he offer? Did he threaten you?
Emily: Not in so many words.
Nikolas: Yeah, he's a master of getting his point across without actually coming out and saying it.
Emily: Yeah. He is convinced that I’m a threat to saving the Cassadine fortune. I guess you're supposed to be working at it 24/7 and I'm a distraction.
Nikolas: I'm sorry. Go home. Get some rest. All right, don't worry about this. I'll take care of him.
Emily: Ok.
Nikolas: Ok. Bye.
Stefan: I'm running out of options. I can't buy Emily off. Can't scare her away. But there are other methods.
Courtney: So Rosie waits until you're asleep, and then she becomes wonder Rosie, making the world safe for all the dogs and little children everywhere. And she flies through the sky, wearing a cape with a little dog bone on it. And she looks down on the streets, on the houses and apartments, and watches over all of us. So it's ok to go to sleep because Rosie -- she is making sure that everyone you love is safe and sound and protected by the power of good.
Ric: How's yours, huh?
Elizabeth: Mmm. So good.
Ric: You know what?
Elizabeth: Hmm?
Ric: This is going to be the perfect room for the baby to play in. We're going to put the playpen right there, and then -- well, then when he or she starts crawling around, we're going to have to move a few of these things.
Elizabeth: Aren't you getting a little ahead of yourself?
Ric: No. I thought we wanted to have a child as soon as possible.
Elizabeth: Well, we do, but it doesn't happen instantly.
Ric: Time flies, you know. You never know. Things can happen sooner than you think. I just want to be prepared.
Elizabeth: I love that about you.
Ric: What?
Elizabeth: That you're so excited about having a baby. You are going to be the greatest dad.
Ric: And you're going to be a fantastic mother.
Carly: Oh, please, God.
Sonny: Watch over Carly. Give her courage and keep her safe. And let her know I’m not going to give up on her. I love my wife, and I'm going to find her.
Carly: Let Sonny know that I believe in him. Let him feel my love while he's searching for me. Please lead him to me, God. And while I am here, please -- please help protect our baby. Please lead Sonny to me.
Sonny: Please help me find my wife and bring her home.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Georgie: I don't care what Mac thinks.
Dillon: Then let's go.
Lucas: Can we start over?
Emily: I just told them about our engagement.
[Carly screams]
Michael: Mommy!
Sonny: Did you have a dream? Maybe you remember what happened?
Faith: Why would I kidnap Carly?
Jason: For leverage against Sonny.
Ric: You're up to something.
