Skye: I love that little girl as if she were my own child.
Emily: Give up this idea that you have to make everything all better.
Ric: I'm going to tell him that the vendetta's done. My only priority is to convince you how much i love you.
Sonny: What did Maxie take?
Zach: Ecstasy. I don't know from who.
Jason: We got to find out where Maxie got the drugs.
Mac: You almost killed my daughter!
Cameron: Dobson, why are you crying? Did you get fired?
Alexis: [British accent] no, sir.
Cameron: You came to your senses and quit and these are tears of joy?
Alexis: Allergies, sir.
Cameron: Oh, you're allergic to the Quartermaines?
Alexis: Pollen, sir.
Cameron: Are the Quartermaines actually buying into all this?
Alexis: Sorry?
Cameron: Well, they're bound to discover the truth. Just a matter of time.
Elizabeth: Ric has been lying to me. He's dangerous. All he cares about is getting revenge on Sonny.
Emily: Then cut him off. Tell Ric you never want to see him again. You can have this baby on your own.
Elizabeth: Yeah, what about school and my job and my painting? Forget about the money, I could never afford this baby on my own.
Emily: Ok, I have two words for you -- trust fund. Specifically mine, ok? I can give you any money you need.
Elizabeth: But what about Ric? He says he wants to be a father, to love this baby. What am I supposed to do if he asks he me to live with him?
Emily: Well, tell him no.
Elizabeth: And then what? Am I supposed to stay in my studio? Am I supposed to move back home with Gram? Oh, my God, my grandmother.
Emily: Wait, don't worry about that right now, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth: What kind of mother do you think I'm going to be? Do you think I'm just going to drop my kids off and go save the world like my parents did? And how am I supposed to get ready in time to have this baby? Nine months isn't nearly enough time to make sense of all this.
Emily: Nine months is forever, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth: Not to me.
Emily: Nine whole months. How many sunsets is that? You've got the Summer and the Fall, too. And you'll get to see those apple orchards all in bloom.
Elizabeth: What apple orchards?
Emily: On the way to Albany. We took a road trip out there once. You and me and Lucky and Nikolas. Remember? You can see the blossoms, and then -- and then stop for apples in the Fall. Oh, don't you love the smell of apples, Elizabeth, when they're still on the trees?
Elizabeth: Are you ok?
Emily: Nine months is that first chilly morning in the fall when you wish you'd brought a sweater. It's the changing leaves and the Autumn light. Don't all painters love the Autumn light in upstate New York, elizabeth? Isn't it famous?
Elizabeth: Well, yeah, I guess so, but --
Emily: Nine months might even be that first snow storm, when everything stops and the whole world is peaceful and quiet for a little while.
Elizabeth: Hey, you're scaring me.
Emily: Nine months is an incredible gift. Be glad you have it, Elizabeth. Don't waste one second being worried. You have so much time.
Elizabeth: Em? What's wrong?
Mac: My daughter is in that hospital bed because of you.
Courtney: Hey, Mac, let him go.
Mac: She could be on a slab at the morgue. Did you sell her those drugs?
Courtney: Jason would never sell --
Jason: It's all right!
Mac: You think it's all right to sell Maxie drugs?
Jason: Mac, you know I didn't sell any drugs.
Mac: Then who did? Which one of Sonny's people?
Courtney: Let him go.
Mac: How many kids have to be poisoned to keep Sonny in those designer suits, huh, to keep him in that fancy penthouse, Jason?
Jason: Mac --
Mac: How many kids have to O.D.?
Jason: Mac, just think. You know Sonny doesn't move drugs.
Mac: Then how -- how did Maxie end up in the emergency room?
Jason: That's what we're trying to figure out.
Mac: Tony said it was a bad batch of ecstasy. If Maxie had been drinking, she'd be dead, Jason.
Jason: I don't know where the drugs came from, but I'm going to find out.
Mac: If you and Sonny aren't responsible for this, I want to know who is.
Ric: You think that I’m selling drugs to kids?
Sonny: To shut down Carly's club.
Carly: Yeah, that was your plan from the start, wasn't it, Ric?
Ric: I -- I don't know what you're talking about.
Sonny: You nearly killed a teenage girl tonight, Ric.
Ric: I wasn't even at the club tonight.
Sonny: Why would you be at the club? You got high school kids working for you.
Ric: Sonn-- Sonny, I don't even know any high school kids.
Sonny: That's how you work, through women and children, where you know that I'm most vulnerable.
Ric: Ok, I have no reason to go after you anymore.
Sonny: You were moving ecstasy through The Cellar. This has your stench all over it.
Ric: Look, if I -- if I were selling drugs, why would I be here? You think that I’m that suicidal?
Sonny: Do I think that you would risk your life trying to wreck me? In a heartbeat.
Ric: Ok, maybe in the past, but not anymore, all right? I have too much to live for now. That's why I’m here now all of a sudden. Look, I came to make peace.
Cameron: How long can you keep hiding the obvious?
Alexis: [British accent] I'm afraid I don't understand, Sir.
Cameron: Well, you're far too emotional to work here. Once the Quartermaines catch on, they'll eat you alive.
Alexis: Yes, well, I can manage, Sir.
Cameron: Look at you, Dobson. You've been dropping trays, crying. Reginald could keep the Quartermaines in line, but you, you couldn't be surly if you tried.
Alexis: I need the job, Sir.
Cameron: Yeah. Well, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interfere. You didn't ask for my advice.
Alexis: Well, I appreciate your concern.
Cameron: Really? Well, that's refreshing. Would you believe some people find me intrusive and overbearing? Speaking of which, have you -- have you seen Alexis Davis this evening?
Alexis: No, Sir.
Cameron: Oh, she missed an important doctor's appointment.
Alexis: She a patient of yours, Sir?
Cameron: No, she was, but I referred her to someone else. She was making me crazier than she is. Which is saying something, considering that she's losing her grip on reality.
Alexis: Is that so, Sir?
Cameron: Yeah, see, she's made a holy crusade out of caring for her daughter, all the while ignoring the steps she needs to take in order to get her back. She missed another court-appointed therapy session today. If her doctor notifies the judge, Alexis could lose her daughter for good.
Jason: Mac, I need to find out where Maxie got those drugs. Can I talk to her?
Mac: I'm not going to let you question my daughter. She's upset enough.
Courtney: Maybe I could say something. We talk at the diner sometimes. I won't push.
Mac: Ok, fine, but make it fast.
Courtney: Ok.
Mac: When it comes to Maxie, I'm not the police commissioner. I'm a father.
Jason: I understand.
Mac: If you and Sonny find out who's responsible for this and if you decide to take care of it, the police department won't ask any questions.
Maxie: My dad sent you, right?
Courtney: He knows I’m here.
Georgie: Why don't you go ahead and ask Maxie where she got the drugs. That's why you're here, right?
Courtney: I'm here because I saw you collapse, Maxie, and I just don't want it to happen to anyone else.
Georgie: Maxie, are you going to tell her?
Maxie: It was a big misunderstanding.
Georgie: Stop protecting him. Kyle Ratcliffe gave her the ecstasy.
Kyle: You gave the police commissioner's daughter X in a club owned by a major mob guy.
Zach: Look, I know who owns The Cellar.
Kyle: What's wrong with you? Maxie could have died. Did you even know what you were handing out?
Zach: It was some new stuff. I've never seen X work like that.
Kyle: She's in the hospital, Zach. Don't you even care?
Zach: I gave Maxie a tiny pill. You took her virginity on the Internet, and I'm the bad guy?
Emily: Wouldn't it be great if we could be like before? When a triple-chocolate soda actually made you feel better. We'd have those Kelly’s closed dinners with Lucky and Nikolas.
Elizabeth: And Lucky used to always bring ribs from Eli's.
Emily: I used to have such a terrible crush on Nikolas. And now I -- now I barely talk to him. And you and Lucky were supposed to be in love forever. And now he's off somewhere with some girl who used to date his father. I mean, I'm not going to criticize, but, really, what is Lucky thinking?
Elizabeth: You mean what is he thinking with.
Emily: Exactly.
Elizabeth: Em, what's going on with you? You can tell me.
Emily: I'm afraid I’m going to die.
Ric: You told me to let go of my vendetta, start a better life for myself, and that's what I’m trying to do. Elizabeth's pregnant.
Sonny: Yeah, I heard.
Ric: I just didn't realize what it was like to have a child on the way.
Carly: Yeah, well, you should have thought about that before you blackmailed me.
Ric: I know. All right, and believe me when I say I'm terribly sorry for it.
Carly: Right.
Ric: Ok, look, I have loved Elizabeth, I've loved her for a long time, but up until now my life has been nothing but hating you. It's not anymore.
Carly: Well, you should have thought about all that before you did all these horrible things to us.
Ric: Sonny, when I learned the truth about our mother, all I wanted was payback. I just -- I found something more valuable now.
Sonny: Why should I believe you, Ric?
Carly: You shouldn’t.
Ric: You know what, I don't need your approval. I don't need your forgiveness. I don't even need for you to hate me. Ok, fine, maybe we'll never be brothers or even friends, but we need to end this between us for both of our families. I want it done.
Sonny: We'll see, Ric.
Ric: All right, well, I'm making a truce. Now, it lasts, we'll see. But I'll do nothing to break it.
Carly: Do you believe him?
Sonny: About the family? No. About the drugs? I don't think he's involved.
Carly: Why not?
Sonny: He'd have never shown up here. He's right about the kids. He's too smart for that. I just wish it was him. That way I would know who I’m dealing with.
Carly: Well, maybe it was just a bunch of kids.
Sonny: No. Somebody's trying to send me a message.
Carly: Look, what happened to Maxie's terrible, but it doesn't mean that anyone is working against you. Look, my staff was careless. They never should have let any of those kids in.
Sonny: Carly, Carly, somebody paid off that bouncer, brought in the drugs.
Carly: Sonny, ecstasy's everywhere. My mom sees kids O.D.'ing all the time.
Sonny: Not in the club my wife owns.
Carly: Ok. All right, well, you know what -- you can't decide anything until Jason and Courtney find out who gave Maxie the drugs, right? So in the meantime, why don't we all go out for a late dinner when Michael gets home from his party?
Sonny: Ok. If you're trying to distract me, it's not working. You know if somebody's coming after me again, I got to make sure you and Michael are all right. You know, I've got to do that, right?
Carly: Well, yeah. No, no, no. No, no, don't even go there.
Sonny: You've got a baby coming now, on the way --
Carly: No, Sonny, you know what, I'm not listening. I'm not listening to this! God!
Maxie: My sister's wrong. I got the X from Zach Rhodes.
Georgie: She's covering for Kyle. You realize this, right?
Maxie: Georgie wasn't even there.
Georgie: This guy, Kyle, he's such a loser. He took bets that he could --
Maxie: Zach gave me the pill, ok? I took it on my own. You can't tell Mac, all right, or Jason, either.
Georgie: Why are you protecting Zach?
Maxie: Because Mac will throw him in prison, and Jason --
Georgie: Whoa, whoa, don't go there.
Courtney: Right, there's no need to get carried away, you guys.
Georgie: But Zach does deserve whatever Jason would do. And so does Kyle.
Maxie: Stop it. I'm the one who was dumb enough to take the pill in the first place, ok? Who cares who gave it to me? What happened is my fault, ok?
Courtney: Look, no one blames you, Maxie. Don't start blaming yourself. Look, I don't want to leave, but Jason’s waiting for me to go home. Why don't I go tell him I’m going to stay and I'll come right back, ok?
Maxie: Ok.
Courtney: Ok.
Maxie: Thanks, Courtney.
Mac: Did she say anything?
Courtney: Not yet, but I am getting somewhere. You don't have to wait if you don't want to.
Courtney: The guys that were with Maxie tonight? Kyle Ratcliffe and Zach Rhodes.
Elizabeth: You're not going to die.
Emily: The cancer's spread to my lymph nodes. It could be everywhere by now.
Elizabeth: Are you sure?
Emily: Yeah. I got a lumpectomy at Mercy Hospital. They took some nodes, and the tests just came back. It's worse than they thought.
Elizabeth: But you can fight this, right? I mean, you can do chemotherapy and whatever else they can do?
Emily: You're growing a new life inside of you, Elizabeth. And they're going to be injecting me with poison.
Elizabeth: Do they know how far the cancer has spread?
Emily: Maybe to the bone, major organs. By the time your baby is born, I could be dead.
Elizabeth: Emily, don't -- don't say that. Don't they have new treatments now?
Emily: But it's still chemo. I mean, they still pump you full of toxins. You get sick, you can't stop throwing up, you're too weak to get out of bed, and your hair falls out.
Elizabeth: Ok. So what? You don't die.
Emily: No, you wait, mostly. That's what cancer is, really. You wait to see the doctor. You wait for the test results. You wait for the chemo, the radiation, the bone scan, the C.T. Scan. Doesn't matter, really. You wait.
Elizabeth: Ok, so I’ll wait with you. Who else knows?
Emily: My parents.
Elizabeth: Not Jason?
Emily: Uh-uh. I wanted to tell him so badly just because I know that I won't have to be brave for him. But I've hardly seen him, and I know he's in love, and why make him sad before I have to?
Elizabeth: Right. What about Zander?
Emily: Look, I won't drag him through this.
Elizabeth: Emily, he needs to know.
Emily: I can imagine the fear in his eyes, and then sadness. I'll have to watch him grieve. I just -- I can't deal with that.
Elizabeth: What if Zander had cancer and he went through chemotherapy, the whole bit, and he lost all his hair? Would you love him any less?
Emily: No.
Elizabeth: Even if he were bald as a cue ball? And he has really good hair, so think about it.
Emily: Yeah, I see what you're doing.
Elizabeth: When you love someone, you stick with them, through the good, the bad, the bald, the chemo.
Emily: I get your point.
Elizabeth: Good. Now let's go get a chocolate soda.
Elizabeth: Do you love him?
Emily: Yes.
Elizabeth: And you want to be with him?
Emily: Yes.
Elizabeth: I know. You can't hide it from me.
Emily: I know.
Elizabeth: So?
Emily: Yes, ok? I miss Zander.
Elizabeth: So stop missing him and be with him.
Emily: It's not that easy, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth: Emily, you're giving this thing more power than it already has.
Emily: But how can I tell Zander? I can't even think of the words.
Elizabeth: Yes, yes, you can. Stop cutting yourself off from the best support.
Emily: Ok.
Elizabeth: "Ok," what?
Emily: I'll call Zander.
Elizabeth: And then what?
Emily: I'll invite him on a picnic.
Elizabeth: And then you'll tell him.
Emily: At the end of the day, yes. Can I have my chocolate soda now, please?
Elizabeth: You need a push, so I’m pushing.
Emily: Are you planning on bossing your kid around this much?
Elizabeth: Oh, my God. What if I can't help myself?
Emily: No, you're going to be the best mother in the world, Elizabeth.
Faith: Silly little girls. Don't you know it's the witching hour, when bad things happen to babes in the woods?
Ned: Well, maybe she got the days mixed up.
Cameron: Yeah, but of all the appointments to miss. She's self-destructing right in front of our eyes.
Ned: I hope I haven't made things worse.
Alexis: Hi. I got your message.
Ned: I shouldn't have called.
Alexis: I'm hoping you're going to tell me that I can spend a little more time with my daughter.
Cameron: No, we want to know why you missed your appointment with Dr. Ryan.
Alexis: I wanted to see my daughter.
Ned: I called you on impulse, and that's never a good idea.
Alexis: What is that supposed to mean?
Ned: I just think it's better for you, and for everyone, actually, that we just follow the rules of the court order.
Alexis: It's not better for me and it's not better for my daughter.
Cameron: Alexis, you need to focus on getting well.
Ned: Kristina is thriving, and I really don't want to upset her routine.
Alexis: Neither do I, Ned. I would just like to be a part of it.
Ned: I really think we need to wait.
Alexis: For how long? Until my daughter grows up and thinks that Skye is her mother? Skye, who will never abandon my daughter, who loves her like her own?
Ned: How do you know that?
Alexis: It's just that every time I come into this house, Skye's hovering over my daughter like a drowning woman.
Ned: Skye has been wonderful with Kristina, very helpful.
Alexis: I have asked repeatedly that she not have any contact with my daughter, but apparently what I want nobody seems to give a damn about.
Ned: I'm well aware of Skye’s history, but she really is taking good care of Kristina.
Alexis: Skye is not her mother.
Cameron: You two go ahead and rip each other to shreds. That'll be good for your daughter.
Alexis: It isn't your concern, Cameron.
Ned: So tell me, why did you miss your therapy appointment?
Alexis: And that is none of your business, Ned.
Cameron: Alexis, we're just concerned about you.
Ned: You're not taking care of yourself. You're obviously not in any shape to take care of --
Alexis: My own child?
Cameron: Don't say anything else.
Alexis: I'm not giving up on this and I'm not giving up on my daughter.
Cameron: We're leaving.
Ned: I'm not asking you to.
Alexis: I want you to remember that this is temporary, Ned. You have Kristina temporarily. Please remember that. Why are you turning against me?
Edward: Dobson! Dobson! Answer me! Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. What are you doing here, and where's the butler?
Elizabeth: Get out of my face.
Faith: Where's that little pet I bought you? Did you let him get away?
Emily: Who is this psycho?
Faith: Someone who doesn't like Elizabeth. Someone who put her in the hospital last time she annoyed me. Just imagine what I could do to you.
Emily: Come anywhere near me or Elizabeth again, and my brother will make you disappear.
Faith: Is your brother a magician?
Emily: No. My brother is Jason Morgan.
Elizabeth: Ok, let's go get that drink.
Emily: No, wait a second.
Faith: No, take your friend's advice. Leave now before I decide I don't like you, either. Huh!
Emily: You mess with my friend again and I'll rip those ho lips right off your face and ask Jason to take care of the rest.
Faith: Must be very comforting, feel very safe with loyal friends. Huh. Untouchable, even.
Elizabeth: Get out of here.
Faith: Too bad you're so accident-prone.
Sonny: Ok. Oh.
Carly: I'm still not listening.
Sonny: Oh, that's ok because I got nothing to say to you. Hey, hey, hey. Your mommy is so fearless.
Carly: Ok, the baby's not listening to you, either.
Sonny: Sure you are. You know why? Because we always listen to your mommy because we love her so much. She kept Michael safe from the ice, she kept you nice and warm, she took -- actually, no. She would never take that medication, even if it hurt you, no matter what, even if it cost you your life.
Carly: Ok, little one? That was the warm-up. Here comes the catch.
Sonny: Your mommy will do anything, anything to keep you safe. She'll spend days under the sun, under the palm trees --
Carly: No, no. What did I tell you?
Sonny: She will endure a private beach with fine, white sand. And a lot of mommies wouldn't do that. But you know what we call your mommy? Carly "the warrior." She will keep you safe no matter what.
Carly: Ok. All right, you. I will consider it, ok?
Sonny: All right.
Carly: But it won't be free.
Sonny: Well, I'll give you anything you want.
Carly: Ok. I'm not saying I’m going to do it. I'm saying I’ll think about it.
Sonny: All right, I understand, I understand.
Carly: And you have to pay for it in advance.
Sonny: Really?
Carly: Really.
Sonny: Like, what do you mean, like, pay for it?
Carly: Let me show you here, ok?
Sonny: Ok.
Carly: Well, let's see what we can get.
Maxie: I used to be sort of smart. Not really a brain like my sister. I mean, who is? But just the way that I've been acting lately --
Courtney: Maxie, you are being way too hard on yourself.
Maxie: All I wanted was a date to the prom, someone who I'd remember and who'd make the whole thing seem like it was in a movie, you know? And everyone told me that Kyle wasn't that guy. But did I listen?
Courtney: Well, we all do stupid things for love sometimes.
Maxie: That's the thing -- I don't love him. I just -- I wanted to be popular.
Courtney: I worked as a stripper. Did you know that? Yeah, I let myself get blackmailed by a total sleaze to try and protect my husband, who didn't even love me. And it was stupid and humiliating. But I found a way to start over. And you will, too.
Maxie: Yeah? And I guess I've learned a few things, too. Like always check the room for cameras before you take off your clothes, don't take pills at parties, and just don't be an idiot, like, a zillion times a year.
Courtney: So we made a few bad moves. But you learn from your mistakes. Just think twice next time, you know? Hey, if I can do it, so can you.
Kyle: You think drugs can fix anything?
Zach: She was crying! I tried to bring her up!
Kyle: Oh, my God. Jason Morgan.
Zach: Whoa.
Jason: You deal drugs in Sonny's territory, you die. Why'd you lie to Sonny?
Zach: Please don't shoot.
Jason: You said Maxie bought the drugs tonight. Wasn't true.
Zach: I -- I didn't sell her the drugs. I would never do that.
Kyle: Neither did I. I didn't have anything to do with it, I swear.
Jason: Why are you lying to me right now?
Zach: I -- I gave Maxie the X. I didn't know it was bad.
Jason: Where'd you get it?
Zach: Some guy.
Jason: Who?
Zach: I can't think of his name, I can't think of his name!
Kyle: Angry John.
Zach: Yeah, Angry John.
Jason: Angry John? What's his real name?
Zach: I don't know. If I knew, I’d tell you. Just don't shoot, ok?
Jason: Where'd John get it?
Zach: I have no idea.
Kyle: I don't know anything about that.
Zach: John said something about this new connection --
Jason: Ok --
Zach: That it was really good stuff.
Jason: Shut up. I'm going to ask you one more time -- where did John get the ecstasy?
Kyle: If I knew, I'd tell you.
Zach: Yeah, anything. Anything you want. Miami. John said something about Miami. You know, like in Florida?
Kyle: He knows where Miami is, stupid. No disrespect to you. He's just an idiot, I'm sorry.
Zach: That's all I know. I swear. Look, I didn't mean to hurt anybody. I'm so sorry, man.
Kyle: We should have told you everything at the club, but --
Zach: I didn't know what to do. I mean, Sonny Corinthos was just standing there and --
Kyle: We had no idea.
Zach: None.
Jason: Shut up! I'm going to tell you two something. Drug dealers don't live to apologize to Sonny Corinthos.
Zach: I'm not a dealer, I swear.
Jason: I said shut up. If you deal drugs in this territory, I'll know. I will come after you. You won't see me. You'll just be dead.
Kyle: Got it.
Zach: No problem.
Jason: Ok. Put your hands down.
Kyle: Hey, I’m sorry.
Jason: Yeah, yeah, shut up and get out of here.
Mac: Brought you your homework.
Maxie: Great. At least it's something else to think about.
Georgie: Wait, we brought you some avocado rolls --
Mac: Mmm, shrimp cocktail from The Grill --
Maxie: My favorite.
Georgie: And some soda.
Mac: And dessert. Ice cream for dessert.
Maxie: You guys snuck all this in?
Georgie: Yeah, who's going to question the police commissioner?
Maxie: This is so rad.
Georgie: Hospital food sucks. Keep that in mind.
Maxie: I can't believe you guys are even speaking to me.
Georgie: You're probably grounded for life.
Mac: You made serious mistakes. But you're still my little girl. No mistake can change that, Maxie. I'll always love you with all my heart.
Maxie: I love you both so much. I'm really sorry.
Georgie: Good. Now you can clean my room for a month.
Mac: And mow the lawn. And the next time you make a mistake, try not to end up in the emergency room. Deal?
Maxie: Deal.
Jason: All right.
Zander: What do you want? Should I call the ambulance now?
Jason: Just listen to me for a minute, ok? Somebody brought some bad X into Carly’s club.
Zander: Wasn't me.
Jason: A girl took it, she O.D.’d; now she's in the hospital.
Zander: I'm not taking the rap for this.
Jason: I know it wasn't you, Zander. That's why I called you. What do you know about Angry John?
Zander: Is that where they got it from?
Jason: You know him?
Zander: Yeah, from way back.
Jason: Ok, I need to know where this guy's getting it.
Zander: All right, I'll ask around, on one condition -- find out what's wrong with Emily.
Jason: She's addicted to painkillers.
Zander: Nope. It's more than that. Jason, look, she's not going to lie to you. Ask her what's wrong and tell me what she says.
Jason: That's Emily’s choice, man, not mine.
Zander: Look, I love her, ok? I got to know.
[muffled conversation]
Monica: Oh. You're back.
Alan: Sweetheart, we were so worried about you.
Emily: I'm so sorry I worried you.
Monica: Are you ok?
Emily: Yeah. Elizabeth made me a triple-chocolate soda.
Monica: Oh, well --
Alan: You're feeling better?
Emily: I've decided what to do.
Ric: Elizabeth? How long you been out here?
Elizabeth: A while. I was starting to worry. Did you go see Sonny?
Ric: Yeah. I offered him a truce.
Elizabeth: And? What did he say?
Ric: Well, he didn't believe me, of course. But he will when he realizes that I’m giving up on the vendetta.
Elizabeth: For the baby?
Ric: And for you.
Ric: Look, I love you, Elizabeth. I'm going to love you for the rest of my life. Will you marry me?
Emily: I'll give chemo a try, but I'm not making any promises.
Alan: We'll get you started right away.
Monica: It's a good decision, Em.
Emily: You still can't tell anyone, ok? I told Elizabeth before, but no one else.
Monica: Ok.
Emily: You have to promise me.
Monica: We'll do anything that you ask.
Alan: I'll arrange for the first treatment, starting tomorrow.
Emily: Not tomorrow. I have plans, ok? I'll see you.
[phone rings]
Zander: Hello?
Emily: Zander?
Zander: Are you ok?
Emily: I'm so sorry about before. I know I’ve been all over the place. Can I see you tomorrow?
Zander: Sure.
Emily: I want us to have one perfect day, just you and me.
[knock on door]
Maxie: You aren't allowed to be here. Did you see my dad?
Kyle: He got on the elevator with Georgie.
Maxie: Visiting hours are over.
Kyle: Then you're ok?
Maxie: I almost died, Kyle. How do you think I am?
Kyle: Yeah, stupid question, you're right.
Maxie: I'll be fine as long as I stay away from you.
Kyle: Maxie, I know I messed up.
Maxie: Don't apologize. It just makes me feel worse, knowing that you think I’m dumb enough to believe you.
Kyle: I don't think you're stupid.
Maxie: See? You're still lying. Just go away and don't come back.
Elizabeth: Did you just ask me to marry you?
Ric: Well, I realize it's not the most romantic setting, but I didn't want to wait until I asked you out to dinner or we were walking along the beach in the sand.
Elizabeth: Ric, you don't have to do this. We can work something out with custody.
Ric: My track record is terrible. I'm a bad prospect. I've done a lot -- a lot of bad things in my life. I've wasted a lot of time. You're the only part of my life that makes sense.
Elizabeth: I'm just having a really hard time believing this.
Ric: I'm having a tough time believing it myself. Now I know why people get up in the morning, you know, why they can get through their day. I'm happier now than I’ve ever been. But I'm still so messed up. You got to understand that.
Elizabeth: I'm not questioning that.
Ric: I just can't imagine my life without you in it. Do you realize I didn't know -- I didn't know that I could love, I didn't know that I could be loved. And as far as family was concerned -- until you came along. I love you, Elizabeth. I just want to -- I just want to give you a good life, you and our child. I mean, nothing else matters to me.
Elizabeth: Yes.
Ric: What do you mean by "yes"?
Elizabeth: Yes, I will marry you.
Ric: You'll -- you'll marry me?
Elizabeth: Mm-hmm.
Ric: You mean that?
Elizabeth: Yes.
Ric: Say it again.
Elizabeth: I will marry you.
Courtney: So what happened? Did you find anything out?
Jason: I got a name. I'm going to check it out.
Courtney: Well, so was it an accidental O.D. or do you think someone's working against Sonny?
Jason: The drugs were a message. There will be another message soon.
Max: There you go!
Courtney: Hey, you.
Michael: See, I told you we'd make it in time.
Leticia: Yeah, I thought that party would never end.
Sonny: Were you a good boy?
Michael: Yes. I said "please" and "thank you" and everything.
Carly: Oh, that's good.
Sonny: All right.
Carly: So you hungry for dinner?
Michael: Yeah!
Carly: All right!
Sonny: How about Dominico's?
Michael: Dom-- Dominoes?
Sonny: No, Dominico’s.
Carly: We always like to eat.
[explosion]
Sonny: Carly, get down!
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Nikolas: The less Summer knows about this, the better, all right?
Alexis: [British accent] will Mr. Jax be joining you?
Skye: No, but Mr. Ashton will.
Emily: A lot has been going on since I got back.
Ric: Sonny's going to come after me.
Elizabeth: I guess you didn't expect him to come out of this alive.
