Maxie: Kyle is the hottest guy in school.
Kyle: I'm going to give Maxie a night to remember.
Alexis: You're my psychiatrist, you're not my dictator.
Sonny: My sister could've been killed, Scott.
Scott: Nobody can identify the driver.
Ric: You are going to get me what I want because if you don't, Jason is going to go away for a very long time.
Faith: She going to keep her mouth shut?
Ric: I think so.
Jason: Why are you crying?
Courtney: It's nothing. I'm better now.
Cameron: Well, the dawn breaks. I was confused as to why judge Farmer would have me in to review your case a second time so soon after the first. Obviously, you requested it.
Alexis: I did request it, and I'm asking that you be reasonable and remember that you are my doctor, not my keeper.
Cameron: Ahem. Have I challenged you in some way?
Alexis: You are acting insufferably smug.
Cameron: I just got here.
Alexis: I don't want to be handled anymore. This is my case, this is my life. I have a right to be present when any decisions are made on my behalf, and I have a right to do everything that I can to push forward a resolution that would award me permanent custody of my daughter.
Cameron: So, what, you're going to yell at the judge, bully her into seeing things your way?
Alexis: I'm going to demonstrate that I'm a competent, rational woman, ready to resume my life and all the responsibilities that go along with it as a woman, as a mother, and as an attorney.
Scott: Well, I met this really attractive blond at the car wash, but I’m not having dinner with her tonight because I have to deal with another crazy episode in "Alexis Davis' comedy hour."
Alexis: Scott, this is a simple case review. There's really no need for you to be here.
Scott: Yes, there is. I'm the prosecuting D.A., my input is vital. I'm not going to turn my back so that you can pull another trick. Because if this is another stunt, I’ll make sure that they lock you up and they throw away the key.
Dillon: Hey, Maxie.
Maxie: If you're looking for Georgie, she's inside with her nose stuck in a book for a change.
Dillon: You know, you really could be a nicer person sometimes.
Maxie: Go away.
Dillon: Well, have fun, wherever you're going.
Dillon: Hey. I just saw your sister outside dressed to party.
Georgie: Don't remind me.
Dillon: Why are you so mad?
Georgie: Because Maxie's dressed to party with the very same guy that hurt her the last time. I mean, why is she giving him the opportunity to do it again?
Dillon: Ok, ok, you're telling me that there is absolutely no possibility that Kyle is telling the truth?
Georgie: No. Just look at the guy! Anyone can tell he's just a two-faced jerk! Why can't Maxie?
Kyle: You look amazing.
Maxie: Thanks.
Kyle: I can't wait to walk into that party with you, as long as you're still sure you want to go.
Maxie: Well, if it's lame, I can always leave.
Kyle: Then I guess it's on me to make sure you have the time of your life.
Carly: Oh, hey. The telepathy that we have never ceases to amaze me.
Jason: What are you doing here?
Carly: Hey, Max, you can just drop those down here. That'll be good.
Jason: What are you doing here? Come on.
Carly: Thank you.
Max: I'll be outside if you need me.
Jason: Yeah.
Carly: Thanks.
Jason: Thanks.
Carly: I hope you like what I brought for dinner.
Jason: What are you talking about? We don't have plans for dinner, Carly.
Carly: Correction -- we didn’t. We do now.
Jason: No, I'm on my way to the hospital to pick up Courtney right now.
Carly: Ok, no, it's all taken care of. Sonny is getting Courtney; he's bringing her here. That way we can all have not only a lovely family dinner together, but they can have a little brother-sister bonding time.
Jason: Yeah.
Carly: And that's important for them.
Jason: I feel a Carly plan coming.
Carly: It's dinner. Don't be paranoid.
Jason: Forget it. I'm not going to go along with one of your crazy plans, and neither will Courtney.
Carly: What's so crazy about dinner? For dessert you can ask Sonny for Courtney’s hand in marriage.
Courtney: What do you want?
Ric: I just came to check to see how you were doing. Better, I see.
Courtney: Jason will be back any second.
Ric: Good. I'll make it brief. Wouldn't want Jason to come in here and lose it and do something to get him sent to prison, right?
Courtney: Ok, would you just take your threats somewhere else, Ric? They're getting really old.
Ric: Oh, no threat intended, I'm merely stating fact. If Jason does come after me, I'm going to have to use what I have against him. And in case you're a little fuzzy on the details or you thought you were dreaming last night, let me just refresh for you. I have the tire iron that killed Fowler, along with Jason’s fingerprints all over it with a fair amount of Fowler's blood.
Courtney: Yeah, ok, I remember.
Ric: Good. Here. Now, I took the liberty of making a copy of the original. Ahem. In it, I have detailed instructions on where to find the tire iron. I've omitted that part there. In place of it, though, I have an explanation of who, what, where, when, how, why -- everything how Jason killed Fowler.
Courtney: You're such a bastard.
Ric: That's almost funny. Now, here's the part where you listen up. If I should die or I should mysteriously become incapacitated or vanish without a trace, the original goes to the police. If you decide to tell Jason and he and Sonny go off looking for the murder weapon, the original goes to the police. Now, if you want to keep that boyfriend of yours, you'll keep your mouth shut.
Sonny: Ric. Get away from my sister.
Ric: There's no need to get all protective, Sonny. I just stopped in to see how Courtney was doing. I mean, after all, she's -- she's kind of my sister, too.
Sonny: No, no, no. Courtney's nothing to you, Ric.
Ric: That doesn't seem fair, does it? I mean, you're her brother, you're my brother, but I can't be anybody's brother?
Sonny: Yeah, that's good. First of all, Courtney’s my blood. She has nothing to do with you. And what we have, you will never have.
Ric: Well, see, you and I are blood, as well, Sonny, whether you like it or not.
Sonny: You know how they say "blood is thicker than water"?
Ric: Hmm.
Sonny: Well, it's thicker than DNA, too. We are connected by a thread, a very slender one. And you should count your blessings because, really, it's the only thing keeping you alive.
Ric: And we don't want it to snap, do we? Glad to see you're doing ok. You need anything, just --
Sonny: She won’t.
Sonny: Ok. Now, that he's gone, you can tell me what Ric was really doing here.
Georgie: Maxie's grounded. The only reason why she made it out of the house tonight is because she came with me. I told Mac we were coming here. I lied to my dad so my sister can do something I know is wrong.
Dillon: Maxie is allowed to make her own mistakes.
Georgie: Even when they're totally obvious?
Dillon: Yes.
Georgie: Look, Maxie’s got this crazy idea that Kyle sees her as a real person, some bogus fantasy she's convincing herself as true just so she can be popular. She thinks he's going to ask her to the prom. Is that the lamest thing you've ever heard?
Dillon: Close.
Lucas: Look who's here again? Why aren't you hanging out at the mansion being waited on by your servants?
Dillon: Because I'm here with my friend Georgie.
Lucas: Hey, where's Maxie?
Georgie: Duh.
Lucas: She didn't go to Kyle’s party?
Georgie: Yeah.
Dillon: Actually, they just left. Kyle picked her up in person and she seemed pretty honored.
Georgie: I tried to talk her out of it, but she wouldn't listen. I mean, what are we supposed to do? Dillon's right. If this is what Maxie wants --
Lucas: This isn't what Maxie wants. This -- Kyle’s totally playing her.
Dillon: You could probably catch up with them if you leave now.
Dillon: That guy seriously needs to get a clue.
[music plays]
Maxie: Hey! Thank you.
Kyle: Thanks again for coming. It means a lot knowing you don't hate me.
Maxie: Everyone deserves a second chance. Even you.
Kyle: Good thing for me you think so.
Kyle: Finish your beer.
Maxie: Ok.
Kyle: You know, before everything went wrong that time, I remember dancing with you and liking it.
Maxie: Yeah. It was cool.
Boy: We're good to go. Kyle can take it from here.
Second boy: Dude, that's the plan.
First boy: I'm not even going to mind losing 100 bucks. It'll be worth every cent watching Kyle hook up with Maxie live on the Internet.
Kyle: So, now that we're starting over, do I get to kiss you?
Alexis: I want to thank you very much for taking the time for this review.
Judge: What's the purpose, Ms. Davis?
Scott: Well, I can answer that.
Judge: You'll get your turn, Mr. Baldwin.
Alexis: I would like to clear up any misconceptions that you may have regarding my past behavior and my present mental state.
Cameron: I can speak to that, your honor. Alexis has been making a sincere effort to regain control of her life and is progressing --
Alexis: While I'm very grateful for Dr. Lewis' excellent care, he does seem to have this alarming tendency to speak for me. In any case, I’m perfectly capable of speaking for myself.
Judge: She has a point, Dr. Lewis.
Alexis: Thank you, Your Honor. I've been making excellent progress in my D.I.D. treatment, and I've had several successful visits with my daughter, Kristina, and Kristina and I could both benefit from more sustained contact.
Scott: I object.
Alexis: We're in an office, not a courtroom.
Judge: You're in my chambers. I run this review. What do you have to offer, Mr. Baldwin?
Scott: Well, Alexis went to a lot of trouble to prove that she was crazy, not to mention attacking me in public. Now she wants to take all that back. She expects you to just bang your gavel, give her her job, her kid back. Let's forget about the knife-wielding lunatic. I mean, if that doesn't prove that she's delusional, I don't know what does.
Alexis: As usual, Mr. Baldwin is completely out of line.
Scott: Why, because I’m telling it like it is? She and her so-called therapist are trying to take advantage of your generosity, of your compassion. She's flipping back and forth like a Mexican jumping bean -- sane, crazy, sane, crazy. He has lost all objectivity. And this outpatient therapy -- it's not working. She should be shipped to a padded cell at Ferncliff. My opinion.
Alexis: While you're at it, why don't you just tie me up and burn me at the stake and condemn me as an instrument of Satan for wanting both my daughter and my career?
Scott: That works, too.
Alexis: District attorney Baldwin’s obscure vendetta notwithstanding, I respectfully request that my court-ordered therapy be cut back, that my law license be reinstated, and I further request another review in another month regarding custody of my daughter, Kristina. I have several copies of precedents --
Judge: I don't need to see them. I find all this very disconcerting. Dr. Lewis, your last report indicated Ms. Davis had made peace with her illness and was making progress towards managing it.
Cameron: That's true, Your Honor.
Judge: Not from what I can see. It's clear Ms. Davis is in deep denial and no closer to being cured than the day I originally pronounced sentence. Your mandatory therapy will continue on the schedule put forth by this court, and another review will take place when I deem it appropriate. Dr. Lewis, I’ll expect your weekly reports to continue.
Cameron: I understand, Your Honor.
Judge: And I'm giving you fair warning. If Mr. Baldwin is right, and I start to believe your objectivity is compromised, I will appoint another psychiatrist. Mr. Baldwin, please stay. I need a word with you on another matter. Ms. Davis, Dr. Lewis, that will be all.
Cameron: Nice going, Alexis. Maybe at our next session you can explain why you insist on being your own worst enemy.
Georgie: If I were a good sister, I would've never covered for Maxie in the first place.
Dillon: Yeah, and she would've crawled out of a window or something else like that. Look, what Maxie decides to do --
Georgie: You know what --
Dillon: Has nothing to do with you.
Georgie: I'm going to be honest for a second.
Dillon: Ok.
Georgie: Part of me does hope that Maxie hooks up with Kyle. That way, maybe Lucas will realize he has no chance with her and start to notice that I’m alive.
Elizabeth: Oh, jeez.
Ric: I was hoping I’d find you.
Elizabeth: You know, Penny's inside if you want to order from her.
Ric: I'm not here to eat.
Elizabeth: Ok, when does it get to be enough for you, Ric? Do you get some sort of perverted thrill out of lying to me? I'm sure you got a big charge out of me finding Faith in your apartment. Two women waiting for you? You know what, you're every bit as arrogant as Sonny.
Ric: Look, I know I should stay away and I've tried, I swear. But something inside me just -- it won't let me give up hope that there's still something we can salvage between us. Will you just hear me out?
Sonny: I do that, too.
Courtney: What?
Sonny: Stare out the window like you're doing.
Courtney: Does it work?
Sonny: It must because I keep doing it.
Courtney: God, I don't know what's taking so long to bring my -- my paperwork.
Sonny: Nurse is going to be here eventually. Now, I want you to tell me what Ric said to you.
Courtney: I mean, you heard most of it, Sonny. Ric wants us all to be one big, happy family. The guy's seriously disturbed.
Sonny: Yep, Ric doesn't do anything without a motive, and that's usually me. You need to be careful with Ric. As a matter of fact, don't have any contact with him.
Courtney: That's fine with me.
Sonny: All right.
Courtney: God, why doesn't the guy just go away? I mean, nobody likes him here anyway. I just -- I don't get this whole obsession thing with you.
Sonny: Well, Ric blames me for everything he didn't have growing up.
Courtney: That's so wrong.
Sonny: Yep.
Courtney: And it's pathetic if he's dedicating his entire life to getting revenge on you. I mean, you -- you were a little boy. I mean you didn't even know Ric existed.
Sonny: Mm-hmm.
Courtney: And you're certainly not to blame for the mistakes the grownups made. He needs to deal with that and stop putting blame where it doesn't belong.
Sonny: I never thought I'd see the day that you would come to my defense.
Courtney: Yeah, well. Don't get a big head. And don't get use to it either, ok?
Sonny: Well, I meant what I said to Ric -- I love you, no matter what. And I know in trying to protect you, I -- I pushed you away, and I’d like to change that.
Courtney: Hey, you know, I -- I may not have agreed with the way you tried to interfere, but I understand why you did it. You were trying to keep me safe.
Sonny: I still am.
Courtney: Ok. I respect that. But you -- you have to respect me, too, Sonny. Jason and I, we love each other. We do, but we don't want to fight with you, you know? But we're going to be together.
Sonny: Yeah, I guess that's something I just -- I'm going to have to live with.
Carly: Now I want to talk rings. Now, I don't think Courtney would ever admit it, but I think she'd love a big, fat diamond. Nothing gaudy or too flashy, but something that makes a statement that says I got the guy -- hey.
Jason: Carly, I need -- ok, now I need you to listen. You need to stop with this stupid idea.
Carly: Oh, I see. So marriage is stupid?
Jason: Is that what I just said? That's not what I said.
Carly: Or is it just stupid for you? Or is it just stupid with Courtney? Because you certainly jumped quick enough when Brenda asked you to marry her.
Jason: Oh, see, now, don't throw that in my face. The only reason I married Brenda was to stop her from wrecking your marriage.
Carly: Oh, see? You just proved my point.
Jason: What -- what -- what point?
Carly: Ok -- you went above and beyond the call of duty and you married that nasty, awful woman. Why? To preserve Sonny's and my marriage. Why? Because we love each other, just like you love Courtney.
Jason: Do you even know what you're saying? I don't even know what you're saying. Just stop and listen to me. I might marry Courtney someday -- when we decide. Now just shut up.
[music plays]
Kyle: Come upstairs with me. Don't worry. I won't be mad if you change your mind. I just want to be alone with you.
Maxie: I won't change my mind.
Boy: Hey! Dude, I was wondering if you were going to show.
Lucas: Oh.
Boy: Grab a beer.
Lucas: No, I'll pass. I was looking for a friend, but she's not here, so –
Kyle: I know I scared you before. I feel bad about that. I promise, it won't happen again.
Maxie: I know.
Kyle: We can take it as slow as you want.
Maxie: If I ask you something, will you be honest with me?
Kyle: Absolutely.
Maxie: Do you like me at all? Because I am really starting to like you.
Kyle: I meant what I said. I really want you, but I won't be mad if you decide not to go through with it. We can just hang out together.
Maxie: No. I want you, too.
Dillon: Ok, now you see, this one -- this one's great because anything you want to know about a movie -- whether it be new or classic or not even released yet -- it's all right here.
Georgie: I think I know one you might like.
Dillon: You're still waiting for Lucas to come back, aren't you?
Georgie: Yeah. I'm a total villain right now. I mean, I don't want to see Maxie get hurt again, but I'd love it if Lucas gave up trying to get her.
Dillon: Ok, tell me something. Why are you so obsessed with Lucas? The guy's lame. I mean, he's beyond lame if he doesn't realize that you're worth 10 of your sister.
Ric: I tried to end our relationship before it even got started. I tried to protect you from exactly this.
Elizabeth: Ok, so why didn't you?
Ric: Because you mean too much to me.
Elizabeth: Oh, right. That's why you turned around and slept with Faith Rosco?
Ric: Look, haven't you ever had a self-destructive moment, where you thought that you'd lost the best thing that you ever had and you did something stupid to punish yourself? I screwed up. I know that, ok? And maybe you'll never be able to forgive me for it, but I'm not letting you go without a fight.
Elizabeth: Ok, you're not letting me do anything because I'm already gone. You say you care about me?
Ric: More than you know.
Elizabeth: Well, then do as I ask. Just stay away.
Carly: Ok, what happened? What's wrong? Where's Sonny? He was supposed to pick you up. Did you guys have a fight?
Courtney: Whoa, whoa, whoa -- hey, hey, calm down. No, no, it's nothing like that. Actually, we're getting along pretty well.
Carly: Excellent.
Courtney: Hey. He's -- he's in the car just finishing a call, you know? Were you in on this, or did you get blindsided, too?
Jason: More like ambushed.
Carly: Ok, the two of you could show a little bit of gratitude because you know how difficult it is to get Sonny to agree to things like this. He's more stubborn than the two of you put together -- hello! And especially the fact that he's coming here to your apartment to be with the two of you for dinner, it's just -- it's proof that he accepts the two of you now.
Courtney: I realize what a major concession that is for Sonny, and, Carly, I will be forever grateful to you.
Carly: See, now, that is better. And you can chime in any time. All right, fine. You are grateful, too, but you just can't admit it because you hate it when any of my plans work.
Jason: What are you -- you have never had a plan that worked.
Carly: Are you out of your mind?
Jason: Do you want to tell me about a plan that's worked?
Sonny: Sorry I took so long. What's for dinner?
Carly: You're going to eat those words. Would you like them for a first course, a last course?
Jason: Don't even ask what she's talking about. I'm glad you could make it.
Sonny: Well, I'm glad I could make it, too.
Cameron: Greg, you're a lifesaver. I can't believe I left my keys at home.
Greg: No problem, Dr. Lewis. Just be careful. Don't close the door while you're inside. It locks automatically.
Cameron: Thanks for the warning.
Greg: Working kind of late tonight?
Cameron: I'm working with a particularly exasperating patient. I'm trying to channel my frustrations.
Greg: I guess some people just don't want to get better.
Cameron: Try "they'd rather be burned at the stake than accept any help at all."
[crowd shouts]
Scott: You've all witnessed it! She floats!
Edward: Proof she's in league with the devil!
Alan: Burn her! Burn her!
Scott: Burn her!
Elizabeth: Burn her!
A.J.: Burn the witch.
Alexis: I am not a witch, for heaven's sakes. I'm an independent woman who happens to make constructive, informed decisions of my own life, and I forgive all of you for being backwards and insular and feeling threatened by me.
Alan: Did you hear that? Did you hear that? She speaks in tongues!
Monica: Get rid of her before she wreaks havoc with her evil spells!
[crowd shouts]
Judge Farmer: It has been proven to my satisfaction that this woman is in league with the bad powers.
All: Ooh!
Judge Farmer: Alexis Davis, you are hereby sentenced to burn at the stake until you are ashes and dust.
[cheers]
Cameron: Your Honor, if I may. Granted, Alexis Davis is willful and misguided. But evil? I say nay. This woman is an outsider both by nature and by nurture -- or, shall we say, the lack of same? She overcompensates by assuming an annoying air of superiority, using arcane legal terminology, hiding behind an air of icy professionalism. But underneath, she's a frightened little sparrow with a heart and a soul. I beg you, be compassionate, show mercy, and let her live.
All: No. No. Burn her.
Alexis: That was the most chauvinistic, condescending, self-righteous crap I have ever heard in my entire life.
[crowd murmurs]
Monica: Well?
Alexis: I don't need to make excuses for my behavior, which happens to be perfectly reasonable and perfectly justified. You're the one who's overcompensating. You really shouldn't be intimidated by me just because I happen to be a woman and I'm smarter than you.
All: Ooh!
Cameron: Well, somebody hand me a torch.
All: Burn her! Burn her! Burn her! Burn her!
Cameron: Don't --
Alexis: I've been trying to reach you. You haven't returned any of my phone calls.
Cameron: Because you're either certifiably insane or satanically possessed. Or both!
Georgie: Why do you think I’m so much better than Maxie?
Dillon: Well, you're smarter, for one thing. You actually think about stuff other than lip-gloss and the prom. Call me crazy, but I do like that in a person.
Georgie: Most people think I’m boring.
Dillon: They're wrong.
Georgie: I don't know. Maybe high school is as shallow as it seems, and the things that matter there will mean nothing in the real world -- like, the guy you think is hot will lose all his hair, get fat, and sit in front of a TV, and then the guy you didn't notice will do something amazing that changes the entire world.
Dillon: You need to expand your horizons a little bit. You know, open your eyes and realize that some guy with the I.Q. of oatmeal who doesn't realize who you are as a person isn't worth spending your time on. Lucas isn't all of a sudden going to grow a brain. I mean, all he knows is that you're not Maxie. And you don't need to be. Believe me, Georgie's a lot cooler.
Georgie: Lucas, are you ok?
Lucas: If you're going to keep covering for your sister, you better plan on going over to Kyle’s in a couple of hours and dragging her out of his bed.
Georgie: Oh, no, she's doing it.
Lucas: I should've realized the truth about Maxie a long time ago.
Georgie: Lucas, I’m sorry. I'm -- no, Lucas, wait!
Carly: Hey, come here. Try this on.
Courtney: Carly --
Carly: I want to see what my engagement ring looks on you.
Courtney: No, Carly, you need to stop. Seriously. Jason told me how you tried to push him into proposing to me, even after I asked you not to.
Carly: Are you mad at me?
Courtney: No, I just -- I don't understand why this is so important to you.
Carly: Because you love Jason so much, and he feels the exact same way about you. You both want to be married. You are too shy to ask, and he doesn't even have a clue where to begin, so I took care of it for you. I'm sorry if I embarrassed you, ok? It's not what I meant to do. But think about it -- getting married to the man that you love more than anything in this world and living happily ever after -- I mean, isn't it worth just a little bit of temporary embarrassment? It's ok, honey. You don't have to thank me now. You just thank me after Jason proposes. It's ok.
Jason: I understand that Ric’s alive because he's your brother, right?
Sonny: Yep.
Jason: I don't want him to hurt Courtney.
Sonny: Ric -- well, he's not after Courtney. He showed up at the hospital just to, you know, throw it in my face that we're still related. He doesn't -- look, he can hate me all he wants. Doesn't mean anything.
Faith: I've been looking for you.
Ric: Why?
Faith: That's no way to greet your new lover.
Ric: Listen, Faith, if you don't want to get your feelings hurt, I strongly suggest you just keep your distance.
Faith: Bad mood? Let me guess -- pining away over our little Ms. Webber, angel of the diner. When are you going to realize that she's a waste of your time and your talent?
Ric: You picked the wrong day to annoy me, all right? So do us both a favor and just go away.
Faith: You know what? I was thinking the very same thing. I mean, you're through here in Port Charles. Sonny hates you. You're always looking over your shoulder for Jason. I'm kind of running out of options myself. I was thinking maybe Miami. You and me, starting over together?
Alexis: There's no need to be insulting. You don't have to keep insulting me. It's not helping. I'm already upset enough. I just -- I just went in there and said what I thought that I should say. And you didn't.
Cameron: There was nothing left to say. You said it all at a review that you arranged without my consultation or knowledge.
Alexis: It's obviously made you very angry so that you didn't try very hard to push for endorsing my progress to the judge.
Cameron: You haven't made any progress, Alexis! You never will because you won't admit there's anything wrong. You won't even entertain the idea that you might be wrong or mistaken or, God forbid, human.
Alexis: Why are you attacking me?
Cameron: That's a really good question because we both know that I’m wasting my breath, so I’m going to stop. Here's what I will do. I will continue to file inaccurate and misleading reports with judge Farmer, and in the fullness of time -- if you can possibly keep your mouth shut -- you'll get your life back. That's the extent of how far I’m willing to go. Now, if that's not good enough or far enough, then, by all means, feel free to petition for another doctor. I will welcome the chance to be rid of you.
Alexis: Fine. Fine. I won't take up any more of your time.
Alexis: Oh, no.
Cameron: That's right, Alexis. You, in your infinite wisdom and infallibility, have managed to lock us in.
Georgie: Maxie may not see how great you are, but I do.
Lucas: Yeah. You're pretty cool, too. How did I miss that?
Georgie: I don't know.
Lucas: Come here.
[music plays]
Boy: Damn. Can you believe this guy?
Second boy: 100 each -- Kyle bet us that he could have sex with Maxie live on the Internet, and he just won.
Kyle: I promise you won't regret this.
Maxie: Never.
Carly: Thanks for agreeing to come to dinner tonight with Courtney and Jason. It means so much to them that you accept them together.
Sonny: You're just glad you got your way.
Carly: Oh, come on! Stop. I do have an occasional unselfish moment.
Sonny: Oh, right, right.
Carly: I do. And I'm just glad that you guys reconciled because, you know, it's not good for your soul to be angry with the people you love most in life.
Sonny: Yeah.
Carly: And now this baby can play with his auntie and uncle.
Sonny: You mean Jason, right?
Carly: Yeah, I mean Jason. I mean, Lucas -- he's a teenager, he's got his own life going on now. You -- you didn't mean Ric?
Sonny: Not for a second. Ric doesn't matter at all.
Ric: You know, the last time we teamed up together, it didn't turn out well for either of us.
Faith: Yeah, well, our alliance against Sonny might've been a bust, but our alliance in bed was a different story. You ought to at least consider it. You have connections, you're smart. I like to take chances. Miami's wide open. We could own it under a year.
Ric: I prefer Port Charles.
Faith: Why? You've already lost here.
Ric: Sonny didn't win. He never will, all right? There's still time to turn things around.
Faith: How?
Ric: I got a secret weapon -- Sonny's little sister.
Jason: I want to know everything that Ric said to you.
Courtney: Well, it's -- it's no big deal. He just -- he wanted to mess with Sonny's head, and I really wish Sonny hadn't even mentioned it to you.
Jason: No, no, it is a big deal because Ric is a threat. But Sonny doesn't want to take him out because he's his brother. I'm not just going to stand around and let this guy do whatever he wants. If he threatened you, I need to know.
Courtney: No, I mean -- no, he hasn't threatened me, but Ric’s twisted. I just -- I want you to stay as far away from him as possible, ok?

Maxie: I can handle my dad.
Mac: Tell me where Maxie really is and who she's with.

Michael: Because you're getting married.
