Skye: Jax thinks your ideas are bogus. He is using you.
Sonny: Tonight is yours. You can do whatever you want. You can say anything tonight.
Helena: Well, this can't be. I thought --
Kristina: You thought you'd gotten rid of me, didn't you? You thought that my mother was pregnant when you killed her. But you were wrong. I'd already been born. She kept the truth hidden from you. Your husband kept the truth hidden from you. And Alexis hid me. She saved my life.
Helena: So Mikkos did have another bastard, another little mouse, a child who's come forward to reveal herself after all these years. You would have done well to stay hidden from me.
Stefan: To Nikolas and Gia, whose love and strength helped carry this family through a difficult crisis. You are the embodiment of all the hope and promise I could ever wish for the coming generations. May your love see you through the dark days and the light. Here's to you. Here's to the future.

Laura: What a wonderful sight.

Roy: Hey.
Luke: Hey.
Roy: It's getting late, man. It's time to get ready.
Luke: What am I getting ready for?
Roy: For Nikolas and Gia's engagement party at Wyndemere. It's already started.
Luke: Oh. Drat. I guess that slipped my mind. Hey, look, I'm in the middle of getting this joint loosened so I can get to the differential. It demands all my attention. You go ahead, give them my best.
Roy: Yeah.
Luke: What the hell's your problem?
Roy: That's exactly what I was going to ask you.
Zander: Carly.
Carly: Hey, what are you doing here?
Zander: Looking for you. I wanted to shoot some pool. Your nanny said I could find you here.
Carly: Yeah, well, you don't miss a trick, do you? I'm -- I'm sorry. I'm rude. It's not about you. It's -- it's this, this club.
Zander: Well, it looks all right. It looks pretty cool. I mean, obviously, it needs a little work, but --
Carly: Oh, Zander, this was my dream. It's -- you don't even know the song and dance I had to go through to get Jax to put the money up for this.
Zander: So what's the problem?
Carly: What it could cost. Skye claims that Jax is using me to get back at Sonny. Look, I thought this club was going to happen. I thought that I would finally have my chance, and now -- now I have to give it up.
Zander: Why?
Carly: I'm not going to let Jax or anybody else use me against Sonny.
[Music plays]
Sonny: Whatever you want, name it. It's yours.
Alexis: I want to stay here. I like it. I like this night. I like the music. I like the --
Sonny: The rum?
Alexis: I do. Oh, I do like that rum. Did I mention that? I feel like something could actually happen tonight that I didn't plan and I wouldn't even mind it for once in my life.
Sonny: You know what? I'm really having a good time.
Alexis: Thanks for bringing me here. I'm not ready for this night to end.
Alexis: I realize that stopping time is a tall order. You're not ready to go to bed, are you? I meant to sleep -- to sleep. I meant --
Sonny: No, I -- yeah. You know what? The night's still young. I promised to show you a good time. Come on.
[Music plays]
Sonny: You want to dance?
Alexis: I want to gamble.
Sonny: Come on.
Kristina: I haven't been hiding from you. I didn't even know that you existed. I was looking for Alexis and after I found her -- well, lo and behold, I found out that I was a Cassadine.
Helena: Oh, don't you dare ever call yourself a Cassadine. Don't you even mention yourself in the same breath with my family.
Kristina: Stefan -- Stefan, my brother, publicly welcomed me as part of the Cassadine family at Gia and Nikolas' engagement party which is in full swing as we speak. Helena, you're a fraud. Nikolas and Stefan are the only true Cassadines. You have a -- a sick mind and a twisted world view.
Helena: We are quite through.
Kristina: I came here because I wanted to see the monster who murdered my mother. I wanted to see that it was real, to put a face on something that is so evil I can't even comprehend it. I wanted to see if maybe -- maybe I could forgive you. Or if I would --
Helena: What? Avenge your mother? Do to me what you think I did to her?
Kristina: No. Stefan said to me that I have my mother's eyes and I have my mother's heart, that when he looks at me he can see her. Now I know that that's true. And you know that's true, too. I saw the look of dread in your eyes when I walked to you from the shadows. That's why I came here -- to show you that she's still alive in me.
Helena: Oh.
Skye: I don't even know what I'm doing here. Have I even met the guests of honor?
Alan: Look, the invitation was addressed to the Quartermaines and that includes you.
Monica: But if you feel at all uncomfortable, please don't let us keep you.
Alan: We were invited as a family and Skye is part of this family. Now please, for one night, can we enjoy ourselves and not bicker? It's a party. Skye?
Skye: I'll be along in a minute.
Jax: Ooh. Hey. Party's inside. What are you doing out here in the cold?
Skye: I wanted to be alone.
Jax: Well, I actually came out looking for Kristina. Have you seen her?
Skye: Let me guess -- another woman you're helping?
Stefan: After all we've been through, sharing tonight with you is certainly a high point.
Laura: And it's fitting, too, don't you think? I mean, after all, for all intents and purposes, we are the parents of the groom. You were a real father to him, and you did a great job. Thank you. Gia?
Gia: Hi.
Laura: Hey. Oh, my gosh. You look beautiful.
Gia: Thank you.
Laura: Just beautiful.
Gia: Thank you.
Laura: Thank you for making my son so happy. I love you.
Gia: Love you, too. Thank you. It feels so wonderful.
Laura: I'd like to say the same thing to Elizabeth, you know.
Lucky: Yeah, she -- she couldn't make it. She wanted to be here, you know, but there's something, you know, wrong with her mother. She's not feeling well.
Laura: I hope it's nothing serious.
Lucky: No, she'll be fine, I think.
Laura: Good. Nikolas.
Laura: Will you excuse us for a moment?
Lucky: Sure thing.
Nikolas: Yes?
Laura: I'm so proud of you.
Nikolas: Thank you.
Laura: I'm just so proud of you.
Nikolas: Thank you.
Laura: And I have never, ever seen you look this happy before.
Nikolas: Yes, I am, very. How can I not be? I mean, look at this.
Laura: Yes. I know. Nikolas, this is a little bit hard for me. I mean, we were just starting to get close and get to know one another and, you know, this really is a time for a mother to let go and step back. But I just want you to know that if you need anything, I am there for you.
Nikolas: I will always need you, Mom.
Laura: Thank you.
Nikolas: I will always need you.
Laura: I love you.
Nikolas: I love you, too. I am just so pleased that Luke and I could get past our differences and -- and that he helped me so much.
Laura: Really?
Luke: All right. The damn party slipped my mind. Right now, the important thing to me is my rear end.
Roy: No -- nothing slipped your mind. You were bailing.
Luke: And what if I was?
Roy: Well, Nikolas went up against his own father to help save your neck, man. He's -- he proved himself big-time to everybody. Even Stefan stood up. He went out of his way to offer you an olive branch.
Luke: Hey, if you're going to stay, will you make yourself useful and hand me that socket wrench?
Roy: You know, I'm trying to be your friend here, Luke. It's a position I backed into without a lot of competition since you aggravate people so consistently -- they want very little to do with you.
Luke: Well, if you're accusing me of doing that on purpose, I plead guilty as charged.
Roy: I'm just trying to point out that you are making Stefan Cassadine look like the bigger man here. And it doesn't sit well with me. It doesn't sit well with me.
Luke: Look, they don't want me there.
Roy: Yeah?
Luke: In their heart of hearts, they don't want me. You know why?
Roy: Why?
Luke: Because I tell the truth and I don't care about the consequences. I'll just make somebody all upset and angry because I'll point out the white elephant in the room. In this case, the elephant happens to be that happily-ever-after elephant.
Roy: What, wait -- man, it's a party. What's with the elephants? What are you talking about?
Luke: I'm talking about marriage. Marriage -- marriage is an accident waiting to happen. Divorce -- now there's the smooth ride -- divorce. Marriage is nothing but years and years of regret and recrimination and -- where's that socket wrench? Divorce is just your way out when you've finally had enough.
Roy: Except that you are still in love with the woman you divorced. And if you want to get her back, you got to do something about it.
[Luke bangs wrench]
Luke: Hold on. Just -- just hold the phone. I'm talking about divorce. I'm saying it's durable, it lasts. Now, getting back with my ex-wife is a sky dive from where I am.
Roy: I know how your brain works.
Luke: Oh, I doubt that. This mechanism is completely incomprehensible.
Roy: Yeah. You're an idiot.
Luke: Frequently.
Roy: I watched you fall in love with her in the first place. I know every step of this dance.
Luke: Well, the music's over and the band went home. Give it a rest.
Roy: Yeah, fine. Then don't go to the party. Don't deal with Laura. Just lay down there and hide under your car.
Luke: I'm not hiding!
Roy: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Luke: Oh!
Roy: Well, look at that. He's so freaked out, his body -- he's losing control of his body. Look at that.
Luke: For the last time, this is not about Laura. She's moved on.
Roy: What do you mean? She's -- she's marrying Baldwin?
Luke: No, she's not marrying Baldwin. As far as I know or care, she's not marrying anybody. I managed to ruin that concept for both of us.
Nikolas: Luke and I covered the hole where my father fell. You know, it was kind of like burying the past.
Laura: I'm sure it was.
Nikolas: It just seemed so strange that Luke, of all people, was helping me. But it felt right somehow.
Lucky: Hey.
Kristina: Hey.
Lucky: Where have you been? Everybody in there's been looking for you forever. And, well, you know, I can understand. You look fantastic.
Kristina: Oh, thank you.
Lucky: Yeah. You ain't going to head inside?
Kristina: In a minute. I need to just collect my thoughts, I think. I -- I just went to see Helena.
Lucky: Oh. Well, I bet that that wasn't easy.
Kristina: I needed to do it, and I'm glad that I did it, although there were definitely moments when she scared the living hell out of me.
Lucky: Yeah. I know how that is. But you're stronger than that. Stay that way. Find that place inside you. Don't lose it. Don't ever let Helena win. Ever.
Kristina: I am a Cassadine. I've always been a Cassadine, even before I knew it. But it wasn't until I was standing face to face with Helena that I really appreciated what that meant -- to be a part of this family. And now, I think I do. I needed for Helena to know that I'm not going anywhere. I'll never let her forget, Lucky. She didn't win.
Lucky: Good for you.
Jax: Skye? Hey. Why do I get the feeling that you're avoiding me?
Skye: Well, you're just as perceptive as ever -- and just as full of it.
Carly: You know, Sonny will hate that I am opening this club up with Jax. I guarantee it.
Zander: Yeah, you're right. He probably will.
Carly: But it's because he can't stand Jax. He could care less about what I do.
Zander: Oh, come on, Carly. You don't believe that.
Carly: Do you know something that I don't, Zander?
Zander: No, I just -- I have a hard time believing that Sonny doesn't care about you anymore, any more than you don't care about him now or why would you be willing to bail on this club?
Carly: Look, Sonny and I -- it's over. We both know that and we are moving on. You know, that's what -- God, that's what this club was supposed to be about. I was going to create something that was mine, all mine. But you know what? If -- if Skye is right and Jax is using me to get back at Sonny, then I'll give it up in a heartbeat.
Zander: Look, I wouldn't lose any sleep over anything that Skye says. She's got some sort of angle going down. A.J.'s involved, too, I think. They're -- they're after some woman named Janine. Sonny's got her stashed away somewhere. A.J. was trying to get everything out of me that he could. I mean, the guy even offered to try and help fix things with Emily.
Carly: Okay, Zander, stay away from A.J. He is bad luck and bad news.
Zander: I will. In the meantime, I'm cold. Can we get out of here?
Carly: Yeah. But no pool, okay? Last time, you took me for 20 bucks.
Zander: Hey, you were the one that wanted to bet.
Carly: No, I wanted to win. I didn't think I was going to lose money to you.
Zander: Well, I can't help it that you're not very good at pool.
Carly: Oh, shut up.
[Zander laughs]
Waitress: Hey, Mike. Can I help you?
Mike: Yeah. Listen, Penny, I -- I'm supposed to be meeting someone here, a woman, blond, about --
A.J.: She's not coming. I sent you the message.
Mike: I told you to leave me alone.
A.J.: No, Mike. You told me to leave Sonny alone. Something's got you worried about him. I mean, the fact that you came running over here so fast together with this desperate look in your eyes tells me that Janine’s got something on you, something that could cause trouble with you and Sonny. You have a problem. I'm your solution.
Alexis: I need chips -- oh, I need chips.
Sonny: Chips?
Alexis: Yeah. Oh, hi.
Armando: You might need these.
Alexis: Thank you. Thanks. Okay. Can you deal me in, please?
Alexis: Yeah. Damn.
Sonny: Nothing ventured, nothing gained. You can't -- you can't win it all with one hand. You got to take your time.
Alexis: Okay.

Alexis: I got it. I heard you.
Sonny: Oh, all right.
Alexis: Okay, all right. Baby needs a new pair of shoes and a matching handbag. Go forth and multiply. Let's go, let's go. What do I do?
Armando: Senor Corinthos, may I have a word with you?
Sonny: Yeah.
Alexis: What do I do?
Sonny: Um --
Alexis: What do I do? What do I do?
Waitress: You know what they say, hon -- unlucky in cards, lucky in love.
Alexis: Hit me.
Dealer: House takes the hand.
A.J.: So what does Janine know about you, Mike? And how badly do you want to keep this secret from Sonny?
Mike: I don't know what you're talking about.
A.J.: Oh, come on. We're way past this. You're in trouble, I'm your way out. Now, I have some business with Janine that I need to wrap up, but Sonny's got her stashed somewhere, so here's the deal. Find her, let me know, and I'll take it from there.
Mike: A.J., here's the deal. Get lost.
A.J.: Sonny's got her, Mike. Now, how long do you think it'll be before she blabs and tells him that she knows you, his father?
Mike: Now, you just get out of my face, A.J.
Zander: Mike, Mike, Mike.
Carly: Hey, A.J., don't you push your luck.
Sonny: Breathe, breathe, breathe.
Alexis: Hit me. Ugh. Am I cutting off your circulation?
Sonny: No, I'm fine. How about you?
Alexis: I just lost all the money that I won.
Sonny: No, no, no. You broke even. It paid for itself.
Alexis: Easy come, easy go. Who said that? I did.
Sonny: Good philosophy -- for cards, anyway. You want to try your luck one more time?
Alexis: No. I'm going to keep this one to remember the night.
Stefan: Excuse me. Well, there you are. Where have you been? I thought maybe you had second thoughts after I announced you as a full-fledged Cassadine.
Ned: I -- I certainly understand the Cassadine inclination to claim ownership, but isn't that a little premature?
Gia: Don't pay any attention to him, Kristina. I honestly can't wait to call myself a Cassadine.
Kristina: Look, I don't need to be warned about this. I've seen this family for who it is. Less than an hour ago, I -- I went to see Helena.
Stefan: Well, that was unwise.
Kristina: Well, it wasn't exactly out of my childhood dreams, but what I realized is that Helena is just a part of this family. I've seen a tremendous amount of strength and love and support. Stefan, I felt a connection with this family even before you said anything to me about it. It's not like I'm being dragged in here. This is my family, with all the good and all the bad.
Ned: Kristina, just take a little time and think about this. That's all I'm trying to say.
Kristina: I've spent most of my life away from them. Look, I intend to change my name legally to Kristina Cassadine as soon as I can.
Stefan: That is --
Kristina: Oh.
Stefan: Beautiful.
Alexis: So, I've won and lost a small fortune tonight. I've rumbaed. And I've never seen you smile this much since I've known you.
Sonny: Must be the night.
Alexis: I don't see how we can top it.
Sonny: I think I can figure out a way.
Taggert: Well -- ahem -- I guess it's my turn. I'm not very good at this, but I'll admit I had my doubts from the beginning. But after watching my sister tonight, I find it hard to argue with the happiness I see in her eyes, the joy I see on her face, and the hope I see for the future. So, to you, Nikolas. I welcome you to the family.
Nikolas: Thank you, Taggert.
Taggert: And -- Gia, I know I haven't always been the brother that I should. But I promise you I will work on that. You are my family, and I will always be there for you. I wish you all the happiness in the world. And I love you more than you will ever know.
Monica: Hear, hear.
Alan: Cheers.
All: Hear, hear.
Alexis: What are you up to?
Sonny: It's a surprise.
Alexis: What kind of surprise?
Sonny: The kind that wouldn't be a surprise if I told you.
[Soft music plays]
Alexis: Wow.
Sonny: Now all you got to do is enjoy yourself.
Kristina: It's true, by the way. We can't choose our families.
Ned: You're preaching to the choir.
[Kristina laughs]
Kristina: So, what's the problem, then?
Ned: It's -- after all the time I spent protecting you from the Cassadines, it's just really hard to see you walk straight into the lion's den. I know the family is all smiles now, but it's only a matter of time before that changes. Alexis should be here to tell you this. But we know where she is. Look, I -- I -- I just don't want to see you get hurt, that's all.
Kristina: This isn't about me, is it? You're worried about Alexis.
Ned: No. This is about you.
Lucky: You know, I stopped by the house and I saw the tree.
Laura: Oh, yeah. I didn't think you'd be into decorating it this year, but maybe I should have asked.
Lucky: No. No, because, you know, when I walked in there, it was -- it was really nice. It was familiar, you know? It was like -- what do you know? Our family's got traditions, too, you know? I also wanted to tell you that I'm happy that you didn't marry Scott.
Laura: Why didn't you tell me that sooner?
Lucky: Well, because it's your life, Mom. It's your decision. And I want you to be happy with the right person, you know. And I've seen that look you get when you see the right person. And I don't think I saw that with him.
Luke: I went to see Laura after I found out she turned Baldwin down.
Roy: What did you say to her?
Luke: I just, you know, asked her why she said no.
Roy: What else?
Luke: Nothing.
Roy: Nothing? You -- you just -- you asked her about Baldwin and then you just -- gee, I can't imagine why she didn't jump right back in your arms.
Luke: Look, Dilucca, I'm sure you're sure you know exactly how things went, but I was there. And for me, it was like marching through sucking quicksand. Call me twisted, but getting there is a lot more important to me than where I'm going.
Roy: Yeah, I see. So the things that led you to get divorced didn't magically disappear in one conversation. I'm shocked.
Luke: My finely tuned sarcasm is rubbing off on you, ain't it?
Roy: Well, it's just that you used to fight for what you wanted, but, you know, I realize that all this trouble with the Cassadines and these elephants and all this trouble with your broken-down rear end, you know, it's obviously taken a lot out of you, so this is me backing off. I've got a party to go to.
Luke: Say hi to everybody.
Roy: Oh, yeah.
Laura: You call this a horror movie? I was more scared by the upcoming attractions.
Luke: Give it a chance. This is a classic.
Laura: Those aliens look like hand puppets.
Luke: They're not hand puppets. They're little men in rubber suits. That guy right there, Dr. Slutsvang, he's real. He's a great actor.
Laura: His wig is on crooked.
Luke: Honey, will you forget the wig? Suspend your disbelief. Just -- just imagine.
Laura: Well, I'm not exactly on the edge of my seat.
Luke: Well, see, I don't want you on the edge of your seat. Then you'd be tense and anxious. I like it like this, where we're just kind of relaxed, sitting here together alone in the romantic flicker of somebody else's mindless adventure. Let's just snuggle down and let big suckers fight the comic book bad guys for a while. What do you say?
Carly: A.J., if you do anything to hurt anyone that Sonny cares about, I will make you pay for it.
A.J.: If you reconsider, Mike, you know where to find me.
Mike: Go to hell.
Carly: What's A.J. talking about? Does he really have something on you?
Mike: Maybe. Look, it could be bad. It could mess up everything that I have with Sonny. I need your help.
Alexis: To your labor dispute.
Sonny: Why is that?
Alexis: Glad it happened in Puerto Rico.
Sonny: Yeah? Me, too. I needed a break.
Alexis: Yeah, you did. You know, you should try smiling more often.
Sonny: Mm-hmm?
Alexis: Mm-hmm. No, I mean, really smiling, as in expressing happiness. Not just displaying your dimples in some blatant attempt to manipulate anyone susceptible.
Sonny: Whatever works.
Alexis: Speaking of work, thank you for taking me away from mine. It was nice to play Cinderella for the evening. Too bad it has to end.
Sonny: It doesn't have to end. You could have whatever life you want. I could make you corporate counsel and you could dance here every night if you like.
Alexis: I don’t. I mean, it would be fun, but it -- it wouldn't be special. And tonight was special. So what do you think? You like the new me?
Sonny: I like it, Alexis.
Alexis: Friends to the end.
Elton: Ah. They're they are, the happy couple.
Nikolas: Elton.
Elton: Gently, gently, please. It's cashmere.
Valet: Okay, okay.
Elton: Ah.
Nikolas: You never change, huh? How you doing, Elton?
Elton: Well, I hope not. My pleasure, I assure you. Listen, I hope I'm not being too forward, but when the time comes to plan your wedding, I hope you'll give me a ring-a-ling. You two are so fabulous. Really, I think you deserve something a little more au courant that this. And I'd be more than happy to come out of retirement for two of my favorite people.
[Elton laughs]
Gia: Oh, you are one of our favorite people, too.
Elton: Oh, pish.
Melissa: Wow. Can you believe this place?
Roy: Well, I've seen it with its knickers down, so to speak. When I was a kid, we used to come out here. It was abandoned. We always tried to get some girl to come with us -- row out and explore.
Melissa: Is that right?
Roy: Yeah.
Melissa: Explore where?
Roy: Well, the towers were fun. The courtyard was -- there was these hidden tunnels.
[Melissa laughs]
Roy: I could show you.
Melissa: I'm sure you could. I'm not exactly dressed for tunnel exploration.
Roy: No, you're not. Will you dance with me instead?
Melissa: That's a good idea. Thank you.
Jax: You know, last I looked, we were being civil to each other.
Skye: Last time I looked, you were conning me.
Jax: Oh, yes. We're back to paranoia.
Skye: No, try back to reality. I've seen your act, and I must admit it's very compelling -- the way you can look into a woman's eyes and make her feel like she's the only woman on the planet and you're totally captivated.
Jax: I don't get it. What the hell is wrong with you, Skye?
Nikolas: What?
Gia: Your mom is right. There is a light in your eyes.
Nikolas: Well, you put it there.

Skye: Jasper Jacks.
Carly: You were using Skye to get to Sonny, so why wouldn't you use me?
Stefan: You are now in charge of the entire Cassadine Empire.
