General Hospital Transcript Thursday 11/8/01 >> Previously on "General Hospital" -- Skye: Your plans have changed. You now work for me. Sonny: I love you, and I want you back. Carly: Well, you know what I need. Roy: I got something. Jax: Did you find the lab? Helena: Welcome to end game. Lucky will fulfill his destiny. Isn't that right, Lucky? Sonny: Carly? Leticia? Michael? Where is everybody? Hey? Hey? Edward: Look at this. The dock renovation project in Rochester has revived the entire downtown. A.J.: And what do you know? Looks like trade's up as well, huh? Edward: This could've all happened here in Port Charles if it hadn't been for Sonny Corinthos. Skye: Never can tell. Things could turn around. A.J.: Any day now. Skye: Yeah. E.L.Q. might get that project going yet. A.J.: Say, Skye, tell me, how's your latest project coming along? Skye: Oh, you'd be surprised. A.J.: Hmm. So, which phase are you in, two or three? Monica: So, Skye, you have a new plan now? Alan: Don't start. Monica: Something beyond the fall of the house of Quartermaines, hmm? Edward: Why are we eating lunch in here? Monica: Why are you changing the subject? Edward: Is it some holiday, some celebration that no one mentioned? Alice: Your coffee, Sir. Edward: What? Oh. Who hired you? This family has had lunch in the dining room every day for years. I don't see any reason to change it now. Lila: Dear, I asked Cook to do something special for us. Edward: What's the matter with you? Lila: I'm glad of being surrounded by all the people I love -- when they're not badgering each other. Edward: Oh, well, why didn't you say so? Lila: Well, now, let's all enjoy our lunch. Skye: After all, it's important to eat a balanced diet. Edward: That's what I always say, especially when you plan on working a full day. Reginald: Um -- she's -- she's here. Monica: Could you be a little more specific? Edward: Did you manage to get a name? Lila: Reginald, please make our guest welcome. Reginald: Sure. Janine: Hey. Oh, nice spread. Mmm, mmm, mmm. So, where do I sit? Roy: This is it. Scott: Well, we got a bat cave here in town, huh? Jax: Yeah. Now all we have to do is find the entrance to the lab. Roy: It's here somewhere. Scott: Well, that's according to Spencer. Jax: Well, try to think like Luke. Scott: I thought you were a man of mystery and intrigue. Jax: Just keep your eyes open, okay? Scott: Hey. You guys from the geology club, too? Guess no. Lucky: You can take that rock and go to hell. Luke: That's my boy. Lucky: The Ice Princess doesn't control me anymore, Helena. Neither do you. Helena: You're a very spirited young man. Luke: Cowboy, don't look at her. Helena: You remind me of your father. That's why I chose you. Laura: Don't listen to her, Lucky. Gia: Ignore her. Just zone her out. Helena: You don't hear these people, Lucky. You don't hear anyone but me. Oh, you can try, but you can't resist me. You and I know you are mine. Nikolas: Don't listen to her, Lucky. You're free. You're stronger than she is, remember? Helena: Come to me, Lucky. Listen to me, Lucky. Move closer. Oh, I've missed our times together. Stavros: Mother, can we please move this along? I am tired of this circus. Nikolas: Fight it, Lucky. Fight it. Don't give in. Helena: Oh, my darling Nikolas. I love him more than anyone. But I'm afraid I've indulged him, as he seems to believe that I can be defied. But we know that I can't be, don't we, Lucky? Yes, we know better. We understand each don't we, Lucky? Lucky: Now! Lucky: Come here! Give me that! Nikolas: We understand you perfectly, Grandmother. Lucky: Yeah, we understand. Now you understand this -- you're through. Melissa: Good morning. Woman: Good morning. Melissa: Any messages for me? Woman: I haven't taken any for you -- wait. Here's one. Here. Melissa: Oh. It's from Dr. Jones. Woman: Who were you expecting, the love of your life? Melissa: Something like that. [Woman giggles] Melissa: Can I use this? Woman: Yeah. Melissa: Oh, I was calling you. Tony: You know I almost called you out of surgery. Luke is not in his room. Bobbie's vanished, along with everyone else connected to the Cassadines. What the hell is going on? Melissa: Don't you know? Helena's made her move. Luke: Good work, boys. Gia: Yeah, you guys make a great team. Now, how about getting us out of here? Helena: I must concede I underestimated you both. My compliments. Lucky: Well, is that your way of admitting you've lost? Stefan: No, I believe it's a symptom of impending hysteria. You never were good at losing, were you, Mother? Helena: This from a simpleton who is tied to a stool? Alexis: Not for long. Stavros: Stop wasting your time, Alexis. You are not going anywhere, Stefan. Mother, can we please move this along? It has become really tedious. Alexis: That's what happens when you lose. Nikolas: Let's go. Stavros: Nikolas -- you might want to stay where you are. Helena: Listen to your father, Nikolas. I want you to go, but I have to give you fair warning -- Lucky: Warnings? You don't have any power anymore. Laura: How many guards are there? Helena: More than Lucky and Nikolas can handle. But, by all means, go. And anyone else who wants to join them, you're all welcome. But I have a squad of guards trained to stop you. Nikolas: She's lying. And even if she's not, the longer we stay here, the more advantage we give her, so -- Helena: Very astute, Nikolas. But how sad to see you waste your talents on people who will never love you. Stavros: No one touches my son, Mother. Not you, not the guards. Is that clear? Nikolas: You claim to love me, right? Are you willing to prove it? Stavros: In any way I can. Nikolas: Then call off the guards, let everyone go, and put an end to this. Roy: Can't say much for Helena's taste in uniforms. Jax: Given some of her other proclivities, I'd say these are pretty tame. Scott: Well, speak for yourself. My suit fits like Frankenstein’s. Roy: We're not here to make a fashion statement. Scott: All right, look, we got to get in quick before they realize we're phony goons. Roy: Yeah. Jax: Exactly. Take them by surprise. Let's go. Roy: Yeah, excuse you -- you stay in back. Lila: Janine, how lovely to see you again. Janine: Likewise, I'm sure, Lila. Skye: Janine, we were supposed to meet later. I think you must've gotten our signals crossed. Janine: No, you got your signal crossed, not me. Edward: Doesn't matter who crossed what. Don't let us keep you girls. Go. Skye: Oh, we won't. Edward: Have a good time. Good. Reginald, get the door for the ladies, please. Lila: Janine, are you hungry, dear? Janine: I'm famished, actually. Skye: We'll pick up something along the way, okay? Lila: Oh, no, please do join us. Janine: I don't mind if I do. Thank you. Monica: Well, pay no attention to me. I just own the place. Janine: Yeah? Wow, you did good, hon. Alan: Could we drop the ownership issue just for a minute? Monica: "Ownership issues"? Don't you even wonder who this woman is, or do you already know? Everybody else seems to. A.J.: Ahem. Mom, Dad, this is Janine. Janine, this is Monica, Alan. Janine: So happy to make your acquaintance. A.J.: Janine is an old friend of Skye's from Pine Valley. Alan: So, what are you doing in Port Charles? Janine: Oh, just a school reunion. Port Charles University, class of 1980 -- shh. Monica: Gee, I would've guessed Harvard. [Janine giggles] Janine: What's that supposed to mean? Alan: Have you met my parents? Skye: Janine came by the other day. A.J.: Janine, how about a nice cucumber sandwich, huh? Skye: You know, I don't think you're really going to have time with the reunion and all. A.J.: Yeah, how about one to go, hmm? Janine: With the day that I'm having, I really need a serious meal. May I please try a bite of your roast beef, sweet cheeks? [Edward coughs] Carly: Michael, I know you wanted Uncle Sonny to come on home with us, but you know what? He's got some important business on the island to take care of. But guess what -- as soon as we get home, you can call him and we can tell him all about the plane ride. What do you say? Man: Mrs. Corinthos? Carly: Oh. We're ready to leave. Man: There's been a delay. The tower gave priority to a commercial plane, so it'll be a few minutes. Carly: What commercial plane? I didn't see anything. Sonny: Thanks for waiting, Robert. I didn't want my family to leave without me. Sonny: Can you give us a few minutes? I'm not sure we're ready to leave yet. Robert: Of course. Sonny: Here you go, buddy. Forgot your truck. Leticia: Oh, I'm sorry. I thought I packed everything. Sonny: No. Don't worry about it. I can see you guys were in a hurry. Hey, buddy. Remember when we came out here and we were eating ice cream and stuff? There's an ice cream parlor in the airport. I'm not sure if the ice cream's as good as Dawson’s, but you want to give it a try? Michael: Sure. Sonny: Okay. You want to play the same game with the money? There you go. You make sure Leticia helps you out with the change, and you give me -- what do I want? Hmm. Chocolate shake. Your mother, vanilla. Okay? Thanks, Leticia. Leticia: You're welcome. Come on, let's go find out how many flavors they have here. Sonny: All right. Carly: I left you a note. Sonny: "We're fine. Don't worry." What am I supposed to think when I walk in a room and my family's gone? Am I -- is that supposed to be some kind of message? Carly: Look -- I thought that we said it all last night, didn't we? Sonny: I asked for time, and you can't give me 12 hours. Carly: I knew if I was around, you'd feel pressured. I didn't want to -- Sonny: So you just don't tell me what's going on? I'm trying, Carly, to do the best I can, but, you know, you're not making it easy. Carly: Oh, I never said it was going to be easy or even particularly sane. I'm probably driving you crazy right now. But, you know, you didn't ever use to mind. Sonny: Crazy with me is one thing. Crazy and gone without a word is something else. Carly: I don't know how to do this. Sonny: Well -- Carly: I don't -- no, living in limbo is -- it's just tearing me apart, Sonny. I can't move back. I can't move forward. I can't even plan Thanksgiving dinner for my son. Are we going to do this as a family, or are we -- Sonny: Okay, do you want -- do you want out of limbo? Penthouse is ready. Move in with me. Edward: Unhand me! Alan: You're going to break his ribs! Alice: Stand back! Alan: You stand back! I'm a doctor! Edward: Get off of me! Alan: Will you let go of him! Edward: What is wrong with you? Reginald: I just -- you know, I thought you were going to faint or something. Edward: Faint? Monica: Sweet cheeks has never fainted in his life. Reginald: Sweet cheeks, what -- you want to tell us what that's about? Skye: Janine calls everyone "sweet cheeks." A.J.: Do they all choke? Skye: It's a habit from her youth. Janine: I just can't shake it. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for all this inconvenience I've caused. Lila: Are you all right, dear? Edward: I will be, yes. Alan: Where are the towels? Reginald: I'm guessing probably the kitchen, maybe a bathroom. Edward: Go get the towels! Alice: 10-four. There's a call for Mrs. Quartermaine in the library. Coming through. Lila: Thank you. Reginald: Did you find out who it's from? Alice: Oh, someone from a guild. Are you in a union, Mrs. Q.? Lila: What? Reginald: That'd be the charity guild. Lila: Oh, I'd better take that call. Edward: I'm sorry you had to go through all this, Lila. Lila: Oh, I'm fine, dear. Lovely to see you again, dear. And enjoy your reunion. Janine: I'm sure I will. Monica: So, you two are friends from Pine Valley? Janine: That's right. She's the best. Skye: Oh. I do what I can. Monica: How did you two meet? Janine: You know, I think I want one of those cucumber sandwiches after all. Edward: A.J., you caused all this. Alan: Now you're blaming A.J.? Edward: You know that your son is throwing away E.L.Q. stock? Monica: What, again? Edward: I signed over three shares of E.L.Q. to him. Do you what he did with them? He gave them to Skye. Monica: A.J., what are you thinking? Skye: Janine, how about we have that lunch on the terrace? Janine: Are you sure? Because the food's actually here. Skye: We're going. Edward: Why don't you have lunch in Omaha, huh? [Janine laughs] Janine: You're such a kidder. Edward: Take your two-faced brother with you. A.J.: Oh, no problem. Monica: No. You're not going anywhere. Alan: Why did you give the stocks away? Monica: A.J., what are you thinking? Alan: You're not going anywhere, either. Get back here right now. Melissa: When Luke found out that Bobbie was missing, he went after her, and then Roy went after both of them. Tony: Alone? Melissa: Um -- the last time I heard from him, he said he was with Jax and Scott Baldwin. But I haven't heard from him since, so I'm just assuming they got into the lab. You don't know a way in there, do you? Tony: The entrance I used has been sealed off, and Helena hasn't contacted me in days. But why would she? She has everyone where she wants them. Melissa: Okay, but the good news is that Helena and Stavros are outnumbered, right? I mean, they've assembled a very smart and very determined group of people, so I'm going to put my money on the good guys. Tony: And I've seen her facility, and it's formidable to say the least. Melissa: All right, Tony, you know Luke. You know Bobbie. Are they just likely to give up? Because I know Roy isn't. I know I'm supposed to be proud of him for that, but I just don't want to lose him. Nikolas: Give me a reason to believe in you. Stop Helena. Side with me. You have a chance to do something courageous. Stavros: I will not allow anyone to hurt you or your mother or Gia. As for Alexis, I've never wished her any harm. Helena: Speak for yourself. Alexis is a constant irritant. She's openly -- Stavros: Mother, I do not care about your petty grudges. My son has asked for my help. I am happy to give it. I love you. I always have. I will protect you with my life. Nikolas: And what about my brother? And Uncle Stefan? What about Luke and Bobbie? Luke: No, don't do anything special for us. Stavros: Luke and Stefan hate me, Nikolas. If I let them go, I'm condemning myself. No, I have to protect myself from them. As for the others -- we'll see. Nikolas: How do you expect me to love you when you are capable of this? Stavros: In deference to your feelings, you, Gia, and your mother can wait in another part of the compound. Shall we? Jax: Well, Mrs. Cassadine. Looks like one hell of a party. Jax: Sorry for crashing the party. Lovely dress. Helena: Thank you. Jax: I don't believe we've met. Jasper Jacks. I'm not sure if you know Mr. Dilucca. Roy: No, we're way overdue. Stavros: Ah, two against one, eh? Scott: Better make that three. And if you need a lawyer, I'll do my best to try to keep you out of Sing Sing. Man: Let him go. Jax: If you insist. Roy: Watch him, watch him! Laura: Lucky? Lucky. Alexis: I win, you lose. Luke: Get the queen of the damned and everybody get out of here. I'll find Stavros! Laura: Luke, wait! Bobbie: You heard him. We got to get out. Laura: No. Not without Luke. Stefan: Nikolas, untie me. Stefan: It's over. Helena: I assure you, this is far from over. Tony: Okay, would you ask the commissioner to call me back as soon as he gets this message, please? Thank you. Not that I have any idea what Mac will do, considering we can't even tell him how to get to the lab. Melissa: Okay. Let's try to figure out what lead Roy might be following. Could he possibly have figured out what that map that Luke drew for Laura meant? I mean, did it make any sense to you? Tony: Luke was delirious when he drew that map. I don't think it's going to mean anything. You know, I could've put a stop to this before it even started. I was in a position to turn Helena over to the police months ago. Melissa: Tony, Helena was threatening your child. Tony: But I didn't have to give in to that. I could've gotten Lucas out of town. I could've put him someplace safe while I worked against Helena. If I had made a stand then, Luke would've never gotten sick. Hell, Stavros would've never come back to begin with. And if anything happens to Bobbie -- if Lucas loses his mother because I gave in to my fear and didn't stand up and fight back -- Melissa: You were protecting your child. Bobbie would probably be grateful for that. I don't think she'd fault you. Woman: Dr. Jones? They need you at E.R. stat. Multiple head traumas coming in. Melissa: Any I.D.? Any idea what happened? Woman: A car accident. Two patients are going to need immediate surgery. Melissa: Okay. Tony: Get O.R. prepped, and I want you on my team. Melissa: I'm on it. Alan: "Sweet cheeks"? Monica: How do you know Janine? Edward: She had no business showing up here. Alan: What did she want? Edward: She showed up a few days ago. She's a -- a friend of Skye's from -- from Pine Valley. Monica: Oh -- does anyone here actually think that Skye has friends? Edward: Do you realize that your daughter is trying to steal E.L.Q. right out from under us? Alan: Don't change the subject. Edward: Why can't you see what your daughter is up to, Alan? Monica: Yes, I'd like to know that. Alan: Why did you give away your shares? A.J.: Nice work, Grandfather. Edward: Answer your father. A.J.: Well, let's just say that there's a bigger picture involved. Alan: Starting with Grandfather? Is Skye covering for a little dalliance you had with Janine? A.J.: Ooh, voice of experience. Alan: Don't insult me by denying it. Edward: We'll discuss this someplace else. Alan: Fine. Monica: I don't understand this, A.J. Is Skye your new way of self-destructing? Skye: Okay, the plan was for you to stay at the hotel and let me handle this. Janine: Hey, I'm not very good at waiting around, doll, and I don't take orders at all. So let's go do lunch. Skye: Forget lunch. If it weren't for me, you'd be on the first bus back to Atlantic City. Janine: Okay, hold it right there. I don't need you. Skye: Since when? Janine: I didn't come up with this whole thing to have some skinny, little rich girl take over. Skye: I knew it. I had you pegged from the very beginning. What, you see Edward at the casino, you check out his assets, you set the oldest trap in the book. And rogue that Grandfather is, he fell for it. Janine: Oh, is that what happened? Skye: You're not pining away for a married man. This was a con job right from the start. Carly: You want me and Michael to move back into the penthouse? Sonny: That's what I said. Carly: But do you mean it? Sonny: Would I say it if I didn't mean it? Carly: So, this is you forgiving me? Sonny: Well, I mean, you know. It's what we both want, right? I'll have Johnny and Graciela go to your house and pack your stuff. Carly: Oh, there's a catch. I can feel it. Sonny: Isn't this what you've been asking for? Carly: Okay. So Michael and I -- we move back into the penthouse. Where are you going to be all night, at the warehouse or across the hall with Alexis? Sonny: It's my home. You're my family. I want to be with you. Carly: Where will you be sleeping, in our bedroom or in the guest room? Sonny: In my bed. Carly: Okay, then I'll be in the guest room. Sonny: Why are you making this so hard? Carly: Will you just answer the question? Will we be sleeping together? Sonny: Yeah. Carly: You really mean it? Sonny: You know I do. Carly: We're really going to be okay? Sonny: Whoa, whoa, whoa -- um -- what? Carly: You can't do it, can you? Sonny: I asked you to move back with me. That's -- carly: You can't tear down the wall. You want to, but you can't. Sonny: I'm trying. Carly: I don't want you to try. I don't want you to try and work around who I am. I want you to take me whole. I want you to open your heart and your soul, not just open your home and your bed. Sonny: You know what, Carly? I -- I love you, but I can't snap my fingers and trust every word you say. I can't just let you move back in without a second thought. I'm not built that way. I protect myself even if I don't want to. Carly: You know what? If I move back in right now, I'm going to be on one long audition. I'm going to be trying out for the part of your wife. Sonny: You are my wife. Carly: No, I'm going to run around in circles, trying to prove that I'm good enough and that I deserve your love. I -- I love you like crazy, Sonny, but I can't settle for less. I'm going to lose myself. Sonny: What do you want? Carly: What you can't give. I can't do this -- Sonny: Wait -- wait. You want everything to -- you want me to promise that everything's going to be perfect? I can't do that. But I can promise that I will love you as much as I can and I will give you everything that I have. Leticia: Mr. Corinthos? They didn't have any milkshakes, so I just got you both a cone. Sonny: Okay. Thanks. Carly: Hey. Michael: Are we all going home together? Monica: Is Skye taking the place of alcohol right now? A.J.: Do you have any faith in me at all? Monica: Yes, I do, A.J. A.J.: Really? Monica: Yes, I do. Because I have seen you put your life back together again after setbacks that would put anybody away for good. So why? Why are you willing to throw it all away now? A.J.: You always expect the worst from me, don't you? Monica: You cannot trust Skye! A.J.: Skye is the only one that gives a damn that Sonny stole Michael. Monica: No. No, no. That is completely untrue and that is not fair to all of us -- A.J.: She's the only person in this family, Mom -- she's the only one who is totally on my side. Alan: You're actually bringing women to the house now? Edward: I had no idea she would show up here. Alan: After what Mother has been through? Edward: Look, I had a one-night lapse in judgment. I never intended to make such a -- a lasting impression. Alan: Oh, don't tell me you're actually pleased with yourself. Edward: No, I'm sorry for what happened, and if I've hurt your mother, then I deserve everything that happens to me. Alan: No argument there. Edward: Is it my fault that poor Janine seems to be, what, starved for affection? Alan: She doesn't look that starved to me. Edward: Can I help it if she woke up next to me, hopelessly smitten? Skye: You are so obviously naive and in way over your head. I mean, an adultery scam for profit? Oh, please. That is so pathetically retro. Janine: Are you making fun of me? Skye: You're ineffective, Janine. You should be glad I intervened. Janine: Oh, gosh, I guess I just don't see that. Skye: I mean, only hookers get paid to have sex with seniors, so unless you're willing to go professional -- Janine: Hey, I did not sleep with your grandfather. I didn't have to. Ned: I don't give a damn that he didn't get the white stretch limo he wanted. Look, if he won't ride in a black limo, tell him he can walk or take a cab -- or ride a bike. Yeah, he can strap the TV and the minibar on the handlebars for all I care. Just take care of it, all right? Kristina: That's telling him. Ned: Are you okay? Kristina: Actually, no. Ned: What happened? Kristina: Alexis is in trouble. Roy: All right. How many more guards? Helena: Who keeps count? Certainly more than you could overcome in hand-to-hand combat. Although -- well, I must say that your efforts are certainly inspiring. Nikolas: You okay? Lucky: Yeah. Yeah, but I'm not the one whose father just decked him and ran away. Nikolas: Well, that's no big surprise, man. Gia: But he's nothing like you. Scott: Bobbie, let me talk to you for a second. Bobbie: What? Scott: Where's Laura? Bobbie: She ran after Luke. He ran after Stavros. Jax: No one else leaves here without a plan. We don't want to hand this back to the Cassadines. Roy: Yeah, we got to get as many people as possible out of here and notify the police. You know the way through the maze? Nikolas: Yes, I do. Roy: Well, go. Just don't stop to help anybody. Just get the police and get them back here. Nikolas: All right, all right, all right. Gia: Nikolas -- I'm coming with you. Nikolas: Let's go. Lucky: You know, Jax, Helena's probably got this place wired with some sort of defense mechanism. Jax: Well, I don't suppose she'd be willing to share? Helena: Mr. Jacks, I thought you preferred a challenge. Stefan: It's too late, Mother. I'm already into the mainframe. I can shut it all down through here. All I need is some time. Lucky: Well, that's great. I'll stay here. The rest of you get out of here like my father said! Jax: I agree. There's nothing more we can do here. Roy: Get Bobbie and Alexis out. I'm going after Luke. Jax: Luke can take care of himself. We've got Helena. I suggest we get her to the cops. Bobbie: I'm all for that. Alexis: You guys go ahead. I'm going to stay here with Stefan. Stefan: No, Alexis, go with them, please. Jax: Listen to your brother. Alexis: Did I just hear that? Jax: We can argue who was wrong about what when we're out of here. Now, let's go before I sling you over my shoulder. Alexis: Why don't you take her instead? Give her one last thrill. Helena: Oh, please. Jax: Allow me, Mrs. Cassadine. This way. Helena: Stefan, don't frown. It's so unattractive and it won't help you decipher the code. What these people don't realize is you couldn't dismantle a pencil sharpener, even with detailed instructions. Stefan: You don't know me, Mother. You never cared to. Ultimately, it'll be your undoing. Jax: Let's go. Lucky: Do you know what you're doing? Stefan: We'll soon find out. Scott: Laura? Laura, where are you? Laura? Laura? Oh, hey. Hey, oh -- are you the tour guide because I can't find -- oh, wait a minute. There's my group over there. Laura: Luke? Luke? Laura: Luke? Luke: Come on, mama's boy. What the hell's the matter with you? I'm half-dead from your poison. Still don't want to face me one-on-one? Stavros? This was part of my dream. But it's real. Leticia: "The little bear was tired by now. His feet were starting to hurt. His fur was full of brambles. Worst of all, it was getting dark. The bushes rustled. The wind blew. And then he heard his father's voice calling, 'Little bear, where are you? I've come to take you home.'" Skye: Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're telling me that you never really slept with Edward? Janine: Yeah, we slept together, sure. Skye: You know what I mean. Janine: Certain things that might've happened, in fact, did not. Skye: But Edward thinks it did. Janine: In a manner of speaking, yes, I think so. Skye: Give me one good reason why I shouldn't tell my grandfather this whole thing's been a setup? Edward: What's a setup? Kristina: So Jax got knocked out and, when he came to, Alexis and Helena were gone. Thank you. Ned: So Helena took Alexis? Kristina: That's a pretty safe assumption. Ned: Look, I wouldn't worry about Alexis. She's a lot stronger than you think. One time she and Jax were stranded in a desert. It's true. Nothing around for miles but hot sand and scorching sun. It was days before I -- before I found them, and they survived. Kristina: You've got to be kidding me. Ned: No, my imagination's not that good. Kristina: Alexis doesn't strike me as the outdoorsy type. Ned: That's true. Your sister considers a picnic a wilderness experience. But above all else, she's a survivor. You just ask her about that desert experience next time you see her. Kristina: I will. [Computer beeps] Lucky: You've almost got it. Stefan: If you're right, we shut this down, Helena will be powerless. Lucky: Well, I've got your back. [Computer beeps] Alexis: Are you sure this is the way out? Roy: Absolutely. Make a right. Helena: I'm surprised you're not out in the lead. Jax: Well, if you'd rather have Roy as your escort -- Helena: Certainly not. You know how I treasure our time together. Roy: Must've been the other right. Bobbie: So, which way now? Helena: Well, Mr. Jacks, you're our fearless leader. Which way now? Luke: Okay, mama's boy, no more running. Let's face your destiny. Stavros: You should be kinder to my mother. Because of her, I'm standing here alive and well and you are standing here looking rather worn and tired. Is there something about this place that makes you uncomfortable, Spencer? Luke: Vermin. But that's all right. I'm about to rid the world of all of you. Laura: Luke, where are you? Stavros: Focus -- that's the key. But you've always been too scattered, too unfocused, Spencer. Bad for you, good for me. So, this is how it ends, eh? Luke: It's not over yet. Stavros: Ah -- allow me to demonstrate. A coin. Do you hear anything? Luke: Yeah, I hear the end of a reptilian species slithering towards extinction. Stavros: Catchy but wrong! There's no bottom, Spencer. You're about to fall into the bowels of hell. I've already been there. I hope you enjoy the trip. Luke: It could be worse -- I guess. Laura: Luke? Can you hear me? Oh, my God, Luke -- Luke. Oh, no. Here. Here. Hold my hands. Here. Grab onto my arm. I'll pull you up. Luke: No. No. |
