Amanda Jax: Listen, I took the liberty of putting Kristina up at your place. Too many people know she's here in Port Charles. Carly: Isn't he gorgeous? Kristina: You know Jax? Carly: Yeah. You? Kristina: Yeah. Carly: Angel and Jax slept together. They had an affair. Mac: Stefan Cassadine, you're under arrest. Stefan: Based on Helena's lies? Mac: This has nothing to do with Helena. [Phone rings] Melissa: 10 West. Luke: I need to leave a message for Barbara Jean Spencer. Melissa: Luke? Luke: Yeah. Tell -- tell Bobbie that her brother called and he said that the jigsaw is starting to come together. Melissa: Luke, where are you? Everybody's so worried. Everybody's been looking for you. Luke: Tell Bobbie to ask Ruby about the day that Lucky ran off with her strongbox. Melissa: What -- ask Ruby? Bobbie. It's Luke. Carly: Angel's house who's staying with her -- she told me that Angel introduced her to Jax in the south of France, which means they already knew each other. Okay, they didn't meet just yesterday or last month. It has been going on for a while. Sonny: What's it to you? Carly: What, you don't care? Sonny: No. I mean, where is this coming from, Carly? Carly: Look, I told you I found the film in Angel's house. Sonny: I know, but why are you doing this? What -- what's the point? Carly: It's to protect you. Sonny: Oh. This is for me? Carly: Sonny, you have blinders on with this woman. Sonny: I -- I know you, Carly. Your first thought is usually "What's in it for me?" So put your cards on the table and tell me what you want. Carly: You. Angel: You already know who I am. Alexis: You're Joseph Sorel's daughter. You're also the woman that found Sonny and brought him, I guess, here to get better. Angel: Yeah, just as I told you. Alexis: Well, you neglected to mention that you find people for a living. By the way, I gather that I have you to thank for finding my sister. Angel: Well, outside of the circumstances of my birth, these all seem like positive things. Alexis: But they don't add up. Angel: Well, if that's a nice way of saying I don't look the part, I don't. That's why I'm so successful at it. See, people tend to tell me things in confidence because I don't come across as some kind of impersonal suit. Alexis: Do you relay information that you've learned in confidence? Angel: What kind of question is that? Alexis: My sister needs to be safe right now, and no one can find out where she is, at least not yet, and I'm not sure why I can trust you. Angel: Kristina is the one who came to me in the first place. She showed me a picture of her mother and she asked me to help find her. It was only a mention of the Cassadine name in front of Jax that got him involved. All roads pointed to Port Charles, and Kristina came here. Alexis: And you met Jax because he was looking for Brenda. Angel: That's right. Alexis: So you're friends with both Jax and Sonny, which is a hard relationship to maintain simultaneously, especially if you're close to both of them. Sonny: You -- you see Angel as a threat? Carly: She is. Sonny: Oh, you just decided that? Reality's not important here? Carly: Oh, please, Sonny. She wants you. She's practically drooling every time she sees you. Sonny: Yeah? I must have missed that. Carly: Okay. Well, why don't you look me in the eye -- hey, look me in the eye -- Sonny: Yeah? Carly: And you tell me that the whole time you were at her little sugar shack not once did she just get maybe a little too close or make some sort of sexual innuendo or tell you how attractive you are. And how about those gauzy white outfits? I think it's a little inappropriate for hiking and gardening. Tell me, does she have a sexy white bathing suit, too? Sonny: Is this going to take much longer? Because I got calls to make. Carly: Ooh. Nice dodge. Sonny: No, I mean, you know what? It doesn't matter what she wants or doesn't want, you know? I make my own calls. Carly: Oh, so you are completely unaffected by a pretty face and those see-through clothes and a woman whose every move is screaming, "I want you, take me"? Sonny: You think I don't know when a woman's trying to seduce me? You think I'm easy to put one over on? Carly: Oh, is that an admission? Sonny: Well, I'm just saying, you know, I don't trust easy, but you should know that. But it works the other way, too. When I do trust and it gets broken, there's no going back with anyone. Stefan: I am innocent. Mac: How do you explain the test results? Stefan: You. You did this. You paid someone to switch those tests. Helena: What a bizarre accusation. Stefan: You knew that I loved Chloe. You killed her for no other reason than to destroy me. Helena: Commissioner, I can't bear to see my -- Stefan: Admit your guilt! Taggert: Easy, easy. Stefan: Nikolas, help me. Please, Nikolas, speak up now before it's too late. She will do the same thing to you someday. She has no loyalty. Nikolas: You get away from my grandmother. Mac: All right, all right, let's go. Time to go, Stefan. Come on. Stefan: Nikolas -- Laura, I didn't do this. It was Helena. She is dangerous to us all. Please, you have to convince Nikolas of this. Mac: Get him out of here. Stefan: Please, help. Mac: Get him out of here! Stefan: Help him before it's too late! Taggert: You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. Stefan: Help him! Taggert: You have the right to have an attorney present. If you cannot afford one, one will be appointed to you by the court. Bobbie: Luke? Luke? Ah. Why didn't you keep him on the line? Melissa: I tried. It just happened so quickly. Roy: What happened? Melissa: Luke called. Roy: Did he say where he was? Melissa: No. Bobbie: Oh, but you should have kept him on the line. You should have tried to ask him some questions. Melissa: Bobbie, he just took me by surprise. Bobbie: I know. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I've just -- I've been so worried about him. Roy: Thank God he called. So he -- he seemed okay? Melissa: He said, "Ask Aunt Ruby about Lucky." Bobbie: Aunt Ruby? She's been dead for years. Roy: Well, that's weird. Was he incoherent or something? Melissa: No, he was very urgent. He sounded like he meant every word, like he was really trying to give me a clue. He said, this whole crazy jigsaw is finally starting to make sense, and ask Aunt Ruby about the strongbox that Lucky stole. Is this making sense? Roy: Not to me. Bobbie: Oh, my God. I know what Luke meant. Gia: Lucky, I know you don't like Lucien. Lucky: What's he doing here, Gia? He's supposed to be dead! You're supposed to be dead! Gia: Lucky, stop it! Lucky: Agh! Gia: Oh, my God -- both of you, just stop! Stavros: The lady told you to stop. Nikolas: Grandmother, you got what you wanted. We had Stefan arrested. He will probably go to prison. Helena: Are you displeased with the outcome? Nikolas: Well, that depends on you. Helena: How so? Nikolas: Stefan is probably unfit to run General Hospital or to be the trustee. Now, I want all the Cassadine holdings in my name as soon as possible. Helena: This sort of arrangement doesn't happen at the snap of a finger. Nikolas: Make it happen, or I will tell Comm. Scorpio that you lied about Chloe being fearful of Stefan. Helena: Well, my, my, my, my. You are becoming more like your father every day. Laura: I would like a word with my son. Nikolas: My grandmother and I do not need to be interrupted. Helena: It's an important family matter. Laura: You can act the prince with everyone else if you like, but you are still my child and I will not tolerate disrespect. Nikolas: We will go to the bar. Shouldn't you call the attorneys and set things up, hmm? All right. Monica: Do you think there is any chance Stefan could be telling the truth? Ned: Why are you having such a hard time accepting Stefan as a killer? Monica: Because he seemed very certain. Ned: He lied, as usual. Look at what he did to Chloe in the past. Monica: There's a big leap from manipulation to murder. Edward: Stefan is a madman, and it doesn't take much to set a man like him off. Alan: Well, what do you think set him off? Edward: Not what -- who. Him. Angel: If you want to know more about my relationship with Jax, then you're going to have to ask him. Alexis: That's a rather cryptic answer. Angel: I'm curious. Is your interest because of your sister or Sonny? Kristina: Angel, I almost forgot. Your friend stopped by with these photos you left at her house by mistake. By the way, if you have any photos of biarritz, I'd love to see them. You and Jax talked so much about it. Angel: Did this friend of mine leave her name? Kristina: No, but she seemed to know you pretty well. I mean, she walked around the house like she'd been here a hundred times. Angel: What did she look like? Kristina: Blonde, confident, motor-mouthed, gestured a lot. Alexis and Angel: Carly. Carly: Yeah, I know how you are when you trust, how you give yourself. Sonny: Carly, Carly, Carly, Carly, Carly. Carly: I know what you like. And you know what I like, too. Sonny: Don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't. Carly: Don't what, huh? Don't remind you what it was like between us? How we moved together? How we pleased each other? It was magic. It was the most sensual sex that either of us have ever had. You know, sometimes I wake up at night and I'm aching for you and I imagine kissing you and exploring. Carly: You remember the kitchen floor? Hmm? We did it everywhere and anywhere. It didn't matter. Sonny, it was so natural for us. It was like breathing -- just in and out. I see the way you're looking at me, and I feel you looking at my body. You want me. So take me. Take me right here, right now, against the wall, on the desk. I don't care. I don't care if you love me or if you hate me, because the first time we made love, it was pure heat. We didn't think about how we felt. We just did. And we can do it again, Sonny, right now. Edward: You should never have come back to Port Charles. Monica: Edward, stop it. Edward: That gentle flower of a woman came into our lives, and you had to trifle with her. You shamelessly led Chloe on, and then you left her behind without even a second thought. Jax: Okay, I don't have to stand here and listen to this anymore. Edward: Fine! Don't! Divest yourself of E.L.Q. and get out of our lives once and for all! Jax: I do what I want. And we'll see who divests themselves from whom. Nikolas: I am tired of my grandmother being blamed for everything. Laura: Did she do it? Nikolas: I have no idea. The only thing I do know is that she lied to the police to make Stefan look guilty. Laura: Were you there? Nikolas: Yes. She made me help as a test of my loyalty. Laura: Nikolas, this has gone too far. Nikolas: I know, Mom, but I have got to see this through. But I am really afraid for Stefan. And I know what I'm asking, but, please, if there is any way that you can help Stefan -- Laura: What can I do? Nikolas: First, believe he's innocent. Laura: Oh, I do. Nikolas: That's good, because I just -- I can't alienate Helena right now because it could get worse for me and Lucky. Gia: Oh, my God! Lucky! What did you do to him? Stavros: He'll come around. Gia: I'm sure Lucky wouldn't have hurt you. Stavros: This is the second time your friend Lucky has attacked me without provocation. Perhaps I should press charges. Gia: No! Please. Look, Lucky is not himself. He's been brainwashed. Really. Look, Nikolas' grandmother brainwashed Lucky, and his mind does all sorts of weird things because of her. Stavros: Sounds like something out of science fiction. Next you'll be telling me the Cassadines have the power to raise the dead. Gia: I wouldn't be surprised. [Lucky gasps] Gia: Lucky? Are you all right? [Lucky coughs] Stavros: I should go. Gia: Please, don't hold this against me or Lucky. Stavros: Of course not. I apologize if I overreacted. Gia: Yeah, I guess we all did. Stavros: I would like to have the opportunity to make this up to you. Gia: All right. Stavros: I'll call you. Bobbie: So after the triple l exploded, Luke, Laura, and Lucky all came back here from Canada. Lucky was the first one to arrive, and he stayed with Ruby. Luke had always taught Lucky to be prepared in case he ever needed to get out of town fast, so Lucky swiped Ruby's strongbox and he turned it into an emergency kit and he buried it near the best escape route outside of Port Charles. I'd forgotten it was there. But it probably still is, and, actually, it wouldn't surprise me if Luke has used it himself and the escape route from time to time. Roy: Yeah, I bet he has. Where is the box? Bobbie: It's in a cave. Melissa: Maybe that's where Luke's hiding out. Roy: Do you know how to find it, how to get there? Bobbie: Lucky once told me that there was a trail that led to the opening of Dry Creek Road, which is also called the old switchback. Roy: Okay, I know where that is. I can check that out. Thank you. Bobbie: Well, wait a minute. I want to go with you. Roy: No, I don't think so. Bobbie: Oh, come on. Why not? Roy: I -- well -- Bobbie: I'm worried about Luke. Roy: He could be in trouble. You know, maybe he wasn't alone, maybe it's another clue, I don't know, but my gut is telling me this could be dangerous. [Pager beeps] Bobbie: It's the O.R. I got to go. Roy: I'll call you the minute I hear anything. Bobbie: Okay. Be careful. Roy: Yeah. I will. Melissa: Roy -- Roy: Oh, Melissa, don't even think about it. You're not coming. Melissa: No, I was going to tell you something else I remembered that Luke said. Roy: What? Melissa: He said he didn't have much time. Roy: Well, then, I better not waste any. Melissa: Okay -- wait. Will you watch your back? Roy: Yeah. Yeah, I will. Carly: No other woman can give you what I can. Think of us, breathless, tangled, belonging to each other. Hmm? Angel wanted that with Jax. She got it, too. Would you mind telling me, you want anything to do with Angel after Jax has touched her? You want anything to do with her at all? [Lucky coughs] Gia: Do you want to go to the hospital? Lucky: No. I'm okay. What's with that guy? Gia: He did get pretty intense, but he apologized. Lucky: I mean his strength, Gia. I've been in lots of fights. I've always been able to hold my own. That guy tossed me around like I was a rag doll. Gia: Well, why does Lucien weird you out in the first place? Lucky: I don't know. He just does. Gia: Well, that's not the greatest excuse for walking into someone's room saying he's supposed to be dead and then trying to make it come true. What does that mean, anyway -- "Lucien is supposed to be dead"? Lucky: I saw him. Then it gets all foggy from there. I remember saying that he should be dead, but I don't remember why. Gia: Lucien has been very charming to me and romantic and thoughtful. So no offense, but it's going to take more than your foggy warnings to make me stop seeing him. Lucky: You're really something else, you know that, Gia? The way you're moving on, one guy to the next. Gia: I'm not sure I am moving on yet. I mean, no matter how hard I try, Nikolas just keeps popping into my thoughts, no matter how hard I try to force him out, you know? I order breakfast every morning and I think about how he used to make me French toast. I walk down the street and I'll see someone who resembles him, see a sweater in a store that he has. But it's getting better every day. How about you? Lucky: I don't think of Elizabeth in that way at all. She's a person that has feelings that I can't remember. I am sorry for hurting her, though. Gia: Well, she doesn't seem too broken up when she's with Nikolas. Lucky: Yeah, well, she'll be all right. Nikolas will, too -- and that goes for you, as well. Gia: I suppose. Lucky: It's just me. I don't know where I fit in anymore. Nikolas: Thanks. Laura: Thank you. I know that Luke and Lucky know something about this lab. The problem is whenever I question Lucky, he completely shuts down about it, and, you know, with Luke still missing, I have absolute-- Nikolas: If Lucky is stupid enough to give up a girl like Elizabeth, that's his own problem, but why can't I have her if I want? Not that it's any of your concern in the first place. Laura: You must be very proud of yourself, Helena. I barely recognize my son. Helena: Well, you don't see the resemblance to his father? Laura: You know, as a matter of fact, I do. Stavros would be very proud of him. Too bad he's dead. Nikolas: Is it done? Helena: I've set things in motion. But you are going to have to be very patient. Nikolas: No, Grandmother, I've been patient long enough. I want what's mine. Helena: Well, my resources are not on stable ground at the moment, thanks to Mr. Jacks and his devil-may-care business practices. But that's of no real concern. Ned: Grandfather was only being his damn fool self. He's grief stricken, so he took it out on the first available warm body. Jax, please, don't start anything over this. Jax: I know. But I won't be taken advantage of by Edward. Or anyone else for that matter. Ned: Is Alexis in danger? Angel: What is Carly's problem? Is she just plain stupid? Alexis: Hardly. Angel: Well, then she's either got an incredible amount of gall or she's one of the most self-destructive people I have ever met. Alexis: It's a tossup. Angel: Yeah, well, this won't take long. Kristina, enjoy the house. I'm sure I'll see you soon. Kristina: You don't want me to stay here, do you? Alexis: It's not my first choice. Kristina: Is it because of Angel? Alexis: It's complicated. Kristina: I'm beginning to think that everything in this town is complicated. Alexis: You'll get used to it. [Phone rings] Alexis: Alexis Davis. Stefan. Okay -- okay. All right, I'll be right there. Kristina: Trouble? Alexis: Stefan's been arrested for Chloe's murder. It's all right. He didn't do it. I'll take care of it. Kristina: Okay, I'm going with you. Alexis: No, you're not. Kristina: He's my brother, too, Alexis. He needs my support. Alexis: No one needs to know that you're here right now. You need to stay put. Kristina: Is that an order? Alexis: I always wanted a little sister to boss around. Kristina: Well, do I get to misbehave afterwards, then? Alexis: Well, you can try, but it's not going to work because I hired a bodyguard. He's out in the car. Kristina: Where did he come from? Alexis: It's one of the perks from having complicated friends. Carly: It's up to you, Sonny. Tell me what you want. Sonny: You can't -- I -- you need to go. Carly: Hmm, no. Sonny: Come on, come on. Carly: Tell me what you want. Sonny: You cannot play these games right now. Come on. Carly: You're in denial, Sonny. Sonny: Don't tell me how I feel, Carly. Carly: You want me. You want me, and yet you have this stubborn idea in your head that you are not supposed to care anymore. And you go on and on about trust, yet you are spending your time with a woman you know nothing about. Sonny: I know what I need to know. Carly: Then how come you didn't know about Jax? Sonny: What does it matter? Carly: Sonny, she has had an affair with a man that you absolutely despise. Sonny: Okay, you know what? You need to go now. Carly: Oh, you are not mad at me. You're mad at yourself. Sonny: You know where the door is, Carly. Carly: Sonny, you pride yourself on knowing everything about everybody, and Angel -- she keeps coming up with these surprises. What else don't you know about her? Huh? Has she committed a crime? Is she working for the feds like -- like Hannah banana? Huh? Maybe she slept with A.J. Sonny: Good night, Carly. Carly: You know I'm right, and that is what is driving you crazy. Sonny: You say you want to be independent? Then do it. Take care of Michael, make new friends, go live your life. But I need to have some peace. Carly: You're sending me to my room again, Sonny. Fine. I will go. But you are going to wish that I stayed because you want me as much as you love me and as much as I love you. Kristina: It's Max, right? Max: Yes, ma'am. Kristina: Max. I knew a Max once. Austrian guy who chartered boats in Greece. You wouldn't happen to be from Austria, would you? Max: Hoboken. Kristina: Hoboken, hmm. Well, Max from Hoboken, it is much too beautiful a night to be spending it inside. Do you fish or row or swim or -- Max: Storm's coming in. Kristina: Oh, my point exactly. Have you ever been swimming during a storm? Oh, Maxie, it is a wild ride, I'll tell you that. Are you interested? Max: I'm not here to be interested. I'm here to watch. Kristina: Oh, that's great. That's perfect. I'll paddle the rowboat and you watch. Max: This isn't usually how it's done. Kristina: Well, all the more reason to do it. Come on. [Phone rings] Carly: Just the person I wanted to see. Jax: Well, I'm busy at the moment, so – Carly: Well, it's about your pal Angel. Did you know that she's involved with Sonny? Angel: She here? Sonny: Who? Angel: Carly. She barged into my house again, nosing around where she doesn't belong, invading my privacy. She was just here, wasn't she? Sonny: Yeah, yeah, she stopped by. Angel: And she told you something? Sonny: She has this idea that you had an affair with Jasper Jacks. Angel: I did. Roy: Luke? Luke? Roy: Luke? [Footsteps] [Melissa gasps] Roy: Oh, what the hell are you doing here? Melissa: What are you talking about? Three guesses what I'm doing here. Roy: I told you this was dangerous. Melissa: I know. I know. I had no intention of coming until you told me that, and then I thought, well, what if you need backup? Roy: Well, I don't need backup, thanks. Melissa: Oh. And I thought, what if Luke is sick? What if he needs a nurse? Roy: Luke's not here. I canvassed the field outside. He's not there, either. Melissa: I know. You covered every inch of the ground. Roy: How'd you know how to get here anyway? Melissa: I followed you. And you know something? That light that you ran at Third and Oak Street -- Roy: Now, don't start with how I drive, and, you know, you've pulled a lot of hair-raising stunts yourself behind the wheel of a -- Melissa: Roy. Roy: Car. Melissa: Look at that. Lucky: You know, I remember telling Elizabeth that everything we needed was right here in Port Charles and everything that I ever wanted was her. But that's all changed. What am I still doing here, Gia? Gia: I feel that way sometimes, too. But my family's here, and I love my career. Lucky: Is that enough for you? Gia: Maybe. But only time will tell, I guess. I just wish that I could stop hurting. Lucky: Well, it's better than being numb. I've thrown Elizabeth away, Nikolas is gone, he's not part of my family anymore, my dad's out of town, I don't know where he is. I feel like I'm going crazy, you know? Like I'm lost in the shadows. Gia: So, hold on to me. Lucky: I think it's best that I don't hold on to anybody right now. Thank you. Gia: Where are you going? Lucky: I'm going to be okay. I'm not going to go start any trouble. I do know what I need to do, though. Stefan: I don't know why you're here. But I swear to you, I didn't kill Chloe. Laura: I believe you. Stefan: Then help me. Laura: Maybe we can help each other. |
