By Stephanie Previously on "General Hospital" -- Jax: The playing field isn't getting any safer. I don't want you to wind up as a casualty. Carly: It is possible that I made a mistake. Alexis: Good. Then my client is free to go? Mac: She's free to go. Carly: Angel innocent? Carly: I will if you will. Sonny: No. Taggert: I've got Alan Quartermaine signing out of the hospital the night Joseph Sorel was murdered. Mac: The chief of staff has to sign out? Taggert: What can I say? Procedure. The odd thing is he signs back in. Mac: There was no emergency? Taggert: Not that I could find. Mac: Alan's hedging for Melissa Bedford, too. Taggert: Uh-huh. Maybe the good doctor has something to hide. Mac: Yeah, speaking of the good doctor -- Taggert: Monica Quartermaine. Nurse says she saw her in the hospital the night it happened, but -- Mac: But Monica didn't sign in. Taggert: Exactly. Mac: You know, all Quartermaines have plenty of motive. Taggert: Yeah. Maybe that's why the old man keeps pointing us toward Zander. Mac: To distract us from the family. Taggert: It's worth following up on. Mac: Look into it. Taggert: Mac -- I'm following up on a lead of my own as well. Mac: I expect nothing less. A.J.: Don't hold your breath until the police find whoever did this. Monica: We, this is really lousy P.R. for General Hospital. A.J.: Would've been a lot easier and a lot more convenient if we'd have just tossed Sorel into the harbor. Monica: Well, why couldn't the police just keep him in jail like they were supposed to? What is so difficult about doing that? A.J.: Why have they let Sonny run so rampant for long now? Monica: All right. This is really, really too tiring to be talking about this. A.J.: Any word on Chloe? Monica: Well, yeah, I called the hospital, and she seems to be doing fine. A.J.: You told Grandmother? Monica: She's out cutting roses for her as we speak, okay? Alan: Are you happy now? Jax: Angel? Angel: I'm right here. Alexis: See, now, why do they always bury the lead story? [Knock on door] Alexis: Oh, my God. Oh. Who is it? Sonny: Alexis? Alexis: Yep. Hey, what's up? Sonny: Did you burn coffee? Alexis: Maybe. Are the police harassing you again? Sonny: How can you burn coffee in a cappuccino machine? Alexis: Look, if this is about Angel, I don't think I'm the right counsel for her. Sonny: Oh. Did you take on the percolator? Alexis: If you don't tell me what you want and why you're here, I'm going to make you drink a cup. Sonny: You're tough. Alexis: Fine. I hope you don't mind your coffee thick. Sonny: I want a divorce. Carly: You spent all day at the beach. Did Leticia put sunscreen on you, or are you all red like a lobster? [Carly chuckles] Carly: Yeah, well, I love you, man. I cannot wait to see you. I will see you so soon. Yeah. Well, you put Leticia on, okay? All right. Hey, Leticia. You have everything ready? You all packed? Everything's all shipped off? Great. [Knock on door] Carly: Hey, you know what? If that is the people for the luggage -- you know what? I will call you back, okay? Let me -- I'll call you back. Okay. Who is it? Mike: Carly? Carly: Hey. Mike: Hey. Hi. Hi. Are you okay? Carly: I'm great. For a minute there, I thought you were the police. Mike: Well, you know, you asked for it. False accusation is a serious thing. Carly: Well, as long as no one's accusing me of anything. Mike: Anything like what? Where are you going, Carly? Carly: Out of here. Mike: Well, you know, if you skip town now, the police might think you have something to hide. Carly: Don't worry about it. Mike: Carly, what did you do? Zander: Where are we? Quinn: The end of the hospital furthest from your room. Are you okay? Zander: Yeah, I'm fine. Maybe we could take a break here. You know, I mean, it's a long ways back? Quinn: I could always get you a wheelchair. Zander: No, I'm fine. I feel like a 150-year-old geezer wheeling around in this thing anyway. Quinn: Would you rather be in bed? Zander: No, I'd rather be out of this place. I mean, no offense. I don't know how you work here. Wouldn't you rather be, you know, at the racetrack or something? Quinn: Sure. I could -- I could be the girl in the hot pants who hands the winner his trophy. Or maybe I could sell hotdogs and French fries at the concession stand. No offense, but I'd rather be a nurse. I happen to like my job. And, unlike you, I get to go home after eight hours. You're just stir-crazy. Zander: Yeah, you better believe that. I just -- I don't know what's worse -- being stuck here in this hospital or being locked up in pcpd. Food's basically the same, but at least here they don't handcuff your hands to your sides. Quinn: You were in jail? Zander: I -- I used to be a drug dealer. Quinn: Oh. Zander: Yeah, I was -- I was framed for killing a cop. And I kidnapped someone -- my girlfriend, actually. Well, I mean, she wasn't my girlfriend at the time, but -- she was just this really sweet person. And eventually I got caught, you know, and she stood by me. She even got me a lawyer. She visited me every day. Wish I could do that. She's -- she's at this clinic. She's learning to walk again. She doesn't say it in her letters but, you know, she's waiting on me. I know what that felt like. Quinn: How did she hurt her back? Zander: We were running away from Sorel. He's who I used to deal for. I testified against him. Quinn: That's why the cops were questioning you about the murder. Monica: Whatever you are upset about, can it at least wait until I've had a cup of coffee? Alan: "I had to get away for a while. I'm not sure when I'll be back. Skye." Monica: Oh. Well, in that case, to answer your question, I'm -- I'm not happy. I'm thrilled. Alan: What did you say to her? Monica: You know, there is a major murder investigation going on at the hospital, Chloe has had a serious injury again, we haven't heard from Emily, and all you can think about is your illegitimate daughter who's wandered off someplace? What -- Alan: What if she doesn't come back? Monica: Well, you'll get over it. Alan: Did you bribe her? Monica: Oh, please. She's about as rich as we are. Alan: Did you threaten her? Monica: I haven't spoken to the woman in weeks. A.J.: I know why she left. Alan: I know why she couldn't hang around here -- because you froze her out. Monica: Actually, I thought that she would never leave. A.J.: Excuse me. Alan: Do you know where she is? Monica: You know, we have more important things to worry about. A.J.: Mom, Dad -- Alan: Anything is more important to you than Skye. A.J.: Hello! Alan: Why on earth did she get involved in that mess? Monica: What could she possibly be helping you for? Alan: Is that why she left? Monica: No, wait, wait. Don't you blame A.J. for this. Alan: First father uses her to get at Corinthos. Monica: Which he failed miserably at. Alan: And now you are using her to get Michael back? A.J.: You promised to help. You've done nothing -- neither one of you. Skye offered to help because she was glad to. Alan: If you have cause more trouble for my daughter -- A.J.: She knows what it's like to grow up without a father because she lived it. I'll be damned if I let what happened to Skye happen to my son. Carly: Will you calm down, Mike? I'm moving out of the hotel. I am not skipping the country. Mike: Where are you going? Carly: I'm staying in town. Mike: Well, that's good. Mike: Well, you aren't showing up on Sonny's doorstep. Carly: Does he even have one? Mike: I don't know where he's living. Carly: You know, I'm kind of tempted to show up at the lake. Mike: Bad idea. Carly: No, come on. Think about it, though, Mike. Me showing up at Angel the slut's house and Sonny hiding in the next room. "Honey, I'm home." Mike: I doubt that he's living there. Carly: As if you would tell me anyway. Mike: Hey, I did the best I could under the circumstances. Carly: And who wants to live out on a lake all alone anyway? It's kind of creepy. You know, who actually needs to hear a loon or crickets or katydids or whatever? Bugs are bugs, so just stomp them. Mike: Did you find a house? Carly: You know what? When you think about it, I have lived all over this town -- there's the Quartermaines’ and then St. Robin's. There was Tony's apartment. That was definitely my low point. Ill be fine. Mike: I don't doubt it. Carly: If it's an independent woman Sonny wants, then I will be independent and I will out-independent that lake trash. You can skip the lake. Mike: Then you aren't giving up on your marriage? Carly: Oh, Mike, if I was a quitter, I'd be living in some double wide outside Pensacola. Sonny just has to remember who he's dealing with. That's all. Alexis: You want a divorce? Sonny: That's right. I have to get one to have an annulment, right? Alexis: After I spent all that time trying to convince you to get married? Sonny: You did good work. Alexis: And all the legal avenues that I went through to try to get you married? Sonny: Carly can't testify against me, you know. Alexis: After I stood next to you and watched your bride walk down the aisle -- Sonny: Do you -- do you have a problem with this or -- Alexis: Yes, I do have a problem. You are in love with her. Sonny: Carly and I, we were wrong from the start, Alexis. You know that. Alexis: Which is why you dragged me down to the police station last night? Sonny: She was causing trouble. There was, you know -- Alexis: You were worried she was going to get hit with a murder charge. Sonny: She gets scared. She does crazy things. Alexis: The two of you were practically on top of each other in the interrogation room. Sonny: Well, we were just -- you know, we were having a little fun with the cops. Alexis: Why do you want a divorce? Sonny: Because she betrayed me -- Alexis: No -- Sonny: And the marriage is over -- Alexis: Why do you want a divorce this second? Sonny: Because she needs to see the divorce papers. Alexis: What's the rush? Sonny: She needs to understand. Alexis: Why, so you can spend more time with Angel? Jax: So, you're skinny-dipping again, huh? Angel: Hmm. The lake is so calming. Jax: And I was late as usual. Angel: You brought me a paper. Jax: Yeah. Some news is best heard with champagne. Angel: Is it really bad? Jax: It's nothing new. Just didn't want you to see it first on the newsstand. Angel: Thanks. Jax: So, did you get any sleep? Angel: Well, after I got back from the police station -- Jax: Say no more. Angel: Why won't they release his body? Jax: Do you want me to intervene? Angel: I just want to bury my father. Jax: Hey, hey, hey, hey. Come here. It's okay. I'm here now. Angel: Yeah. You always are when I need you. Jax: Any chance of champagne glasses? Angel: Yeah. You know, I haven't sworn off civilization completely. Jax: Well, here's hoping you never do. Angel: Hmm. It can't be that easy for you to come back here. Jax: No, I'm fine. Angel: This isn't exactly Monaco. Jax: What is? Angel: You can tell me. Jax: You know, if it weren't for Kristina, I'd never have come back here. [Kristina sighs] Kristina: Like you're going anywhere. Kristina: Okay. You're here. Now what? Kristina: It's simple. You either stay locked in some hotel room or you don't. Kristina: Come on. You got to be in here somewhere. Alexis: So, what is going on with you and Angel? Sonny: My -- my relationship with Angel is -- is none of your business. Alexis: So this is a relationship? Sonny: Um -- not the way you think. Alexis: I don't think anything. I'm just -- I'm just sitting here waiting for you to tell me what to -- Sonny: Well, I don't have to explain myself to you. Alexis: Yes, you do. Sonny: Angel is not important here. Alexis: Then why did you stay away with her for so long? Sonny: Are you going to handle my divorce or not? Alexis: No, I don't want to talk about that any more right now. I want to talk about this. I'd like some answers. Sonny: What was the question again? Alexis: You disappear for -- for weeks -- no word, nothing. Sonny: Mm-hmm. Alexis: Your wife's worried sick about you. You know who else was worried about you, who didn't sleep through a whole night, who lost two pounds because even popcorn didn't taste good? Me. Sonny: Well, that's -- you didn't have to worry about me. That's kind of sweet. Alexis: Did anyone call me? Did anyone tell me anything? Did I get word from anyone? No, see, I made all the calls. I called Benny I don't know how many times. I hope he doesn't tell you how many times. And you don't have to worry because he didn't tell me anything. He's worth every cent that you pay him. But almost every night, I must've called all the hospitals and the morgues, and then I would start to change my name and disguise my voice, but I think they caught on -- Sonny: You know, you're going to hyperventilate -- Alexis: I am not going to hyperventilate. You are not the boss of my hyperventilation. You need to just pipe down and apologize. Sonny: You know, if you breathe, like, between -- Alexis: Don't tell me what to do. [Phone rings] Sonny: The phone. Alexis: I know what a phone is. I can hear the phone. I have ears. [Ring] Alexis: Yes? Hello? Look, either spit it out or hang up. [Dial tone] Alexis: Fine. Sonny: I guess that was wrong number. Alexis: Obviously. Sonny: You know what? I -- my apology would go a lot better if you would -- if you were conscious. Can you just sit down for, like, one sec? Alexis: All right, just knock it off. Sonny: Okay, what I'm -- I didn't mean to stress you out. I -- it was not like I took a vacation. I was recuperating from a serious wound. Remember that? Alexis: Is that an apology? Sonny: I'm trying to get to it. Alexis: Okay. I just want to say that we're friends. You said that. You said that you trusted me. Do you remember that? Sonny: Yeah. I remember. You made that point clearly. Alexis: All right. I just want to make another one clearly. I am not Carly. You cannot treat me the way that you treat your wife. Carly: Sonny used to have one of these lemon drops every morning. Mike: Hmm. I didn't realize that. Carly: You know what? They're almost impossible to find. Mike: Oh. I haven't seen this brand since Brooklyn all those years ago. Carly: Hey, you know that little candy store in the mall? They order them special just for me. Mike: Yeah. Carly, don't look back. Believe me, there's no percentage in it. Carly: Do you think I'm wrong about Angel? Mike: I think the further you stay away from Angel, the better. Carly: Yeah, but you're suspicious about her, too, then, aren't you? Mike: I'm trying to stay out of it. Carly: I never should've accused her of working with her father to kidnap me. I underestimated her. Never again. I know better now. Mike: Since when has that ever stopped you? Carly: Mike, I'm trying to save my marriage, and I won't let anyone stop me. There's something up with that woman, and I am going to find out what it is. Jax: Guaranteed to take the edge off any morning. Jax: You know, I've always loved your hands. Angel: Well, that's not all you liked. Jax: You brought me luck. Angel: What we lost, that's all. Jax: You know, I was going out of my mind that day. I felt like crashing a speedboat in some rocks. Angel: Well, instead you had lunch with me. Jax: Yeah, which was a much better choice. [Phone rings] Angel: Saved by the bell. Jax: Necessary. This is Jax. Kristina: Jax. Jax: Are you all right? Kristina: How soon can you get here? Jax: Right away. Kristina: Okay. Angel: Kristina? Jax: Yeah, she seems a little shaky. Angel: Is she having second thoughts? Jax: I'm concerned about a break for the border. Angel: Well, she's restless. Jax: Yeah, aren't we all. Angel: You know, if -- if you take this little back road behind the house to the second turnoff, you can get to town quicker. Jax: What, are you trying to get rid of me? Angel: Oh, this from a man who always knows the fastest getaway? Jax: You going to be okay? Angel: Yeah, I'm better now. Jax: Okay. Finish your champagne. Angel: I always do. Jax: Bye. Angel: Bye. Taggert: Ms. Ellis? Angel: I have nothing to say. All right? Angel: Haven't we been through this? Taggert: Just five minutes. That's all. Angel: What do you want? Taggert: Ahem. Oh. Wow. I hope I'm not interrupting. Angel: Do I need to call my lawyer? Taggert: Is Mr. Corinthos home? Sonny: Alexis, I know who you are, all right? Where -- where is this coming from? Alexis: it's about time that you trust people. Sonny: No, it's -- it's who I am, okay? I can't change that. Alexis: It's a defense mechanism. It's not who you are. So, how many people are you going to push away in real life? Sonny: It's my business. Alexis: It's an excuse. You do it when people get too close. Sonny: You're way off here. Alexis: I'm not because I do the same thing. How many times have you ordered Carly to her room, told her to mind her own business and stay out of yours? Sonny: And she didn't, and I almost wound up in federal pen, so -- Alexis: I know. I understand that. She betrayed you. I -- I don't defend that. But I didn't. And I'm just saying that I would like to be treated differently. Sonny: Well, what do you want me to say? What the hell do you want from me? Alan: I want Skye home immediately. A.J.: Her cell phone is turned off, in case you're wondering. Monica: Yes, and never mind the fact that the hospital is crawling with police, that the man who tried to kill Emily was murdered right under our own noses. Alan: Where is Skye staying? A.J.: She wanted to disappear, Dad. Monica: Oh, let her be gone. Alan: Do you know where she is? A.J.: I told her to leave town, that's all. Alan: You put him up to this, didn't you? Monica: Well, you know something? I wish I had. A.J.: Sonny has been threatening me for weeks now. It started off when his goons surrounded me at the hospital. And then I received a newspaper with fake headlines saying that I was dead. It turns out that Sonny's little helpers have quite the sense of humor. Monica: Why didn't you tell us this? A.J.: What difference would it make? Sonny -- well, he figured out that Skye was trying to make nice with Carly, so he figured out what our plan was. Alan: Did he hear her? A.J.: I just thought that it would be a good time for her to leave, that's all. Alan: I've had it. Monica: What? Alan. Alan, wait. Alan. Zander: Are you okay? Want a drink of water or something? Quinn: I lied to the police. I didn't tell them that you were out of bed that morning. That's why you wouldn't let me call an orderly to help get you back in bed. You weren't covering for me. You were doing it for yourself. Zander: I -- I didn't want either of us to get in trouble. Now, listen -- since it's already covered, can't we just leave it alone? Quinn: You mean forget you were an ex-drug dealer who hated the guy who was murdered. Zander: You know how many people Sorel has hurt? He shot me. That's the reason -- that's the reason I'm here in the first place. He's a drug smuggler, and he threatens young kids. He got the penalty, okay? He's not somebody that you need to worry about. Quinn: Is there anything else you want to tell me? Like about the guy who visits you, Corinthos? I've seen his pictures in the newspapers. He's some kind of big-time mobster. Zander: Yeah, well, the papers are full of crap. I used to read what they wrote about me, but it's all lies. They don't know anything about Sonny. Neither do you. How do you think I'm paying for all this? I'm not. Sonny is. Quinn: Okay. Zander: Okay what? Quinn: Mr. Corinthos is your friend, and Sorel was scum, and I'm not going to ask any more questions. Zander: Thank you. I'm sorry if I kind of went off on you back there. Quinn: I think I was the one that started it. Zander: No. You've been great. You really have. Listen, I'm not going to pay you back by getting you into trouble. Everything's going to work out. Quinn: You hope. You still have to make it back to your room. Zander: Watch me. Carly: Yeah, well, where is the bellhop? What do you mean, on his way? On his way to work, on his way to someone else's room to get their luggage, on their way what? [Knock on door] Carly: You know what? That better be him. Mike: Hi. Carly: What took you so long? Bellman: Sorry, ma'am. I'll get these out of your way. Mike: Look, do you -- do you have a car downstairs? Carly: Yeah, there should be a stretch waiting out front with my name on it. Mike: Well, look, why don't you just ride with me? We can get all this stuff in my car. Carly: You know, I'll just call you when I'm settled. Mike: Look, I won't tell Sonny anything, if that's what you're worried about. Carly: Oh, forget about it, okay? Mike: Okay. All right. Carly: Just go. Go, go. Go, go, go, go. Mike: All right. Carly: Okay. Oh, wait, wait, wait! Wait a minute! Wait. Oh -- ooh, shoot. Oh, my God, will you watch where you're -- Jax: Well. Good morning, Mrs. Corinthos. That's a lovely bike. Carly: Why aren't you someplace else? Jax: What, your husband didn't mention I'm back? Carly: No, he only tells me the important stuff. Jax: Oh. So much for the limo, huh? Carly: You know, if you've damaged this bicycle, I'll -- Jax: I'll buy you a new one, a better one. Or would that upset your husband? Because we can't have that, now, can we? Carly: I have to be somewhere. Jax: Is that Michael's bike? Carly: Why? Do you want one? Jax: No, I'm just wondering what you're using him for these days. Delivery boy? Wait, no, he's doing the paper route. No, that's silly. No. He's -- he's helping you stay married to Corinthos. Carly: Man, who are you married to these days? Is it Alexis? Chloe? Brenda? Jax: You know, Sonny's wives usually don't survive this long. Carly: Yeah, well, surprise, surprise. Sonny and I are going to be married forever. Jax: Oh. Maybe there is justice after all. Sonny has you, and you won't go away. Carly: I have a real family now, like it or not. Jax: Oh, no, I like it -- more than you can imagine. Carly: Stay away from Sonny. Jax: Don't I always? Alexis: I would like to be treated like a trusted friend. Sonny: Right. Alexis: Which means that you tell me the truth. Because, as your friend, I'd be entitled to that. Sonny: Fine, fine. You got it. But the truth is going to work both ways. What's up with you? Alexis: Is Angel Ellis a trusted -- Sonny: Why is everybody so wound up on Angel? Alexis: You really don't know the answer to that? Sonny: No, I don't know that. Alexis: Well -- you disappear without a trace -- Sonny: Right. Alexis: With a killer after you. Sonny: Okay. Alexis: You don't bother to call anybody. You don't call your wife. You don't call your father. You don't call me. And then you show up weeks later with the killer's daughter. Now, call me suspicious, call me insane, but it gives me a little pause. Sonny: I had her checked out. My guard was up. Alexis: Oh, great, because that just makes me feel a lot better. Sonny: Well, I mean, you know. I'll say -- I'll say one thing about Angel. She understands the life I lead. Alexis: Does she go to her room on her own? Sonny: She doesn't interfere. Alexis: Like me? Sonny: Well, you know, like you kind of, yeah. Alexis: So Angel is a friend? Sonny: Let me tell you something, all right? You -- you don't have to worry about Angel because I know what I'm doing. Angel: I asked you not to bother me. Taggert: You can claim your father's body anytime. Angel: You had to drive all the way out here to tell me that? Taggert: Yes, ma'am. Angel: So his autopsy's complete? Taggert: That's right. Angel: Fine. Taggert: You ever tell your father about how you felt about Mr. Corinthos? Angel: Sonny is my father's enemy, not mine. Taggert: Oh, no, no. That's not the question I asked you, is it? Angel: Well, you know what? You can direct any further questions to my attorney. Taggert: Sonny's attorney. Angel: That's right. Taggert: You know, I'd watch out for my own interests if I were you. Angel: Which you aren't. Taggert: Sonny can be a dangerous business. Angel: You know what? How I feel about Sonny is none of your business. Taggert: On the other hand, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe you're just following the good book, right? Honor thy father, love thy father's enemy. Something like that? Angel: I have nothing to say to you. Taggert: Why'd you keep Sonny out there so long, huh? Why didn't you bother to tell anybody? You say your father stabbed him, right? Why didn't you call the police? All right, you know what? Accessory to a crime, reckless endangerment, criminal neglect. How am I doing so far? Angel: Sonny asked me not to call the police. Taggert: So, Sonny say, Angel do, huh? You're still culpable. Angel: Oh, you're beginning to sound like Mrs. Corinthos. Taggert: I've been called worse. Angel: You know what? You're obviously out here on some fishing expedition. Taggert: I like fishing. Angel: Well, it's too bad you're not any better at it. Carly: Oh, Mike, you did not have to follow me over here. Mike: I'm nosy. I wanted to see for myself where you were living. Hey, this is a nice neighborhood. Carly: Yeah. It's a little quiet, but I picked it for Michael. I would rather be downtown near the penthouse, but -- well, what do you think? Mike: Wow. Hey. I like it -- a lot. I mean, it feels like a home. Carly: Yeah, the family who was renting it before, they were transferred to Italy for a year, so I got it fully decorated. Mike: Well, Sonny's going to love this place. Carly: You think? Mike: You know, when he was a kid, we used to go on drives -- his mother and Sonny and me. And, you know, we'd -- Adella would always ask me to find a nice neighborhood. Not too fancy. Just houses like this with lawns and trees. And we'd walk around and pick out the place that we'd like to have someday. He knew it was just pretend, but he'd always ask for a place like this -- with a yard and a tree. Carly: You know, Sonny must've been so different when he was little because I cannot imagine him pretending anything like that. Mike: I think that he lost the ability when I left. You know, too much reality too soon. Burned the dreams right out of him. Carly: Dreams are different. Sonny still has those. His dreams are family. It's to have a wife he can trust and a little boy who loves him. And he just thinks the dream is over, but he's wrong. And I am going to show him that he already has everything he ever wanted. Alexis: This divorce is against my strong legal advice. Sonny: Okay. Alexis: I'll have a draft of the divorce papers by this afternoon. Sonny: Okay. Alexis: I really wish that you had considered a prenup. Sonny: Well, you know, money doesn't really matter to me that much. Alexis: What does? [Knock on door] Alan: Alexis? Alexis: Great. [Knock] Alan: Open the door. I know Sonny's in there. Alexis: All Quartermaines eavesdrop. It's amazing. Alan: Alexis, open the door. I heard his voice. Alexis: I think it's genetic. Should I let him in? Sonny: It's your apartment. Alexis: It's your tab, Mr. Corinthos. Sonny: Let him in. Alexis: Okay. How are you doing, Alan? Alan: I'm not going to tell you again. Stay away from my children. A.J.: Where do you think Dad is? Monica: Oh, if he is threatening Sonny Corinthos -- A.J.: Sonny walked into our house, he took my wife and kid, and my father barely defended me. Monica: You burned down your brother's warehouse, A.J., and Sonny can prove it. A.J.: So why is Dad provoking Sonny now? Monica: Oh, I don't know. He is obsessed with Skye at the moment. A.J.: No kidding. Monica: Look -- Sonny has said that he's going to protect Emily. A.J.: You don't believe that. Monica: I don't know what to believe right now. But if we go along with Sonny, then you have a pretty good chance of seeing Michael and staying out of jail. A.J.: You think Sonny killed Sorel? Monica: Who knows? A.J.: What are the papers saying, huh? Are they listing any suspects? Monica: Your father has asked the hospital staff not to talk to the press, and so far they haven't. A.J.: Yeah, well, according to this, the police aren't saying much either. Do you have any idea what happened? Monica: All I know is that the -- well, that the respirator was unplugged and somebody tampered with the alarm. A.J.: Really? Monica: I mean, what it does say is that General Hospital is really irresponsible. Not that your father cares. A.J.: Come here. Monica: What? A.J.! A.J.: You just made my day. Monica: What? A.J.: I'll call you later. Aha. Jax: Kristina? You'd better be here. Kristina: Do you really expect me to spend the rest of my life waiting around in some hotel room in upstate New York? Jax: It's just a little while longer. Kristina: I want to meet Alexis now. Alexis: Alan, do we have to do this right here, right now? Alan: You drove Skye out of town, didn't you? Sonny: Skye? You mean the one who hit on me at The Grill? Alan: You're not even in her league. Sonny: No? Alan: No. [Sonny chuckles] Alan: Besides, she wouldn't dirty her hands on a man who almost got Emily killed. Alexis: Sonny did go out of his way to protect Emily. Sonny: Sorel's been taken care of. Alan: No thanks to you. Sonny: Michael belongs with his mother, not that drunken bastard who shoved her down the stairs. Alan: That was an accident. Sonny: Oh, yeah? What about him burning down my warehouse? Alan: Look, if you were going to send him to jail -- Sonny: You still don't know for sure, do you? Alan: You must be very hard up to represent garbage like this. Sonny: Hey, Mr. Quartermaine. You want to see Michael? You're going to have to deal with his mother. Alan: What does that mean? You're stepping aside? Sonny: Anything else? Alan: God, I hope he pays you well. Alexis: He does. [Door closes] Sonny: Keep A.J. away from Michael. Do whatever it takes. A.J.: Commissioner. Mac: That's me. A.J.: I have a confession to make. Mac: And that would be? A.J.: I know who killed Sorel. Mac: And you have evidence? A.J.: I was at the hospital the night it happened. Mac: You and hundreds of other people. A.J.: I can back up what I tell you. Mac: You're prepared to make a statement? A.J.: That's right. Mac: Okay, I'll bite. Who killed Joseph Sorel? A.J.: Carly Corinthos. Carly: Michael. Michael: Mommy! Carly: Hey! Oh, look at you! I wasn't expecting you for about an hour. Leticia: Yeah, Mr. Corinthos had a liaison waiting for us at the gate. He helped us get through customs. Carly: Oh, Mr. Man, I am so glad you're home. On the next "General Hospital" -- Helena: Jax? It's Helena Cassadine. Jax: Speak of the devil. Sonny: I watched you use that kid to jerk Jason around. Don't think you can do it with me. A.J.: She wanted him dead. She already tried it once. Taggert: Any proof? Stefan: Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. |
