>> Previously on "General Hospital" --

Bobbie: Mac is wrong about Luke. I know that.

Elizabeth: Did we get out of there before Zander became suspicious?

Lucky I don't think he connected us back with Emily.

Chloe: You need to find out that she isn't Brenda once and for all.

Sonny: Do exactly what you are told.

Carly: Why should I do anything you say?

Sonny: Because I'm the only thing standing between A.J. and your son.

Jax: Yes, Paris. L'hotel Georges Cinq, please. Yes, mademoiselle Brenda Barrett, s'il vous plait. She hasn't checked in? Are you expecting her? No. No. Merci. Why did I do that? Wouldn't register under your own name. Might not even remember it. Are you out there?

Alexis: Are you alone?

Chloe: And then some.

Alexis: You sure no one followed you?

Chloe: I can make myself almost invisible.

Alexis: That's a neat trick. Maybe you can teach it to me.

Chloe: Some of us have an inborn talent.

Alexis: I seem to have an inborn talent for attracting the media while wearing my underwear, clutching a rose.

Chloe: It's very elegant underwear.

Alexis: Try telling that to the judge who's hearing sonny's drug trafficking case. What happened?

Chloe: I'm fine.

Alexis: Are you getting headaches again?

Chloe: Jax is on his way to Paris.

Alexis: You make that sound like he's never coming back.

Chloe: Not entirely clear on that.

Alexis: What are you telling me?

Chloe: Jax went to look for Brenda.

Gia: So this is what you do when you're not getting trashed at raves. It's a nice change of pace.

Elizabeth: Beats extortion.

Gia: Not on an hourly basis, I don't think.

Elizabeth: Are you lost or something?

Gia: Dishing out chili cheeseburgers, taking your life in your hands. You're a versatile thing.

Elizabeth: We don't encourage loitering, so why don't you order something or go away. And my preference would be b.

Gia: Iced cafe latte, decaf.

Elizabeth: Well, petite maison is 10 blocks that away.

Gia: Iced coffee. Can you manage that?

Elizabeth: You didn't come here for coffee. Why are you really here?

Gia: Obviously because I was summoned. Where's the rest of your little group? Lucky didn't tell you about the meeting? Guess you're out of the loop.

Elizabeth: Or maybe he wanted to warn me in person to expect the blackmailing witch.

Bobbie: Am I too early?

Roy: You could not be too early. So, this is what you wear to eat on the ground?

Bobbie: Well, on a blanket on Phelps island with my guy.

Roy: Well, I hope he's worth the effort.

Bobbie: Well, he's exerting the effort. He's rowing the boat.

Roy: Oh, I see. So he rows and you supply the motivation. That works. Who's on food?

Bobbie: I thought you said you were doing the food.

Roy: Oh -- oh, yeah. Oh!

Bobbie: It's ok. It's ok. Don't worry about it. You know what? We'll just go. We'll pick up something on the way.

Roy: No, no, I cooked. I cooked, actually. I'm really good. I trained in a very large setting -- 800 inmates per meal. I did. My specialty is chipped creamed beef with lots of pepper. And that's what I thought, too. So, instead, I stopped at grace's gourmet.

Bobbie: Ah.

Roy: Yeah.

Bobbie: That's perfect. It's almost scary. If it's bad news, just get it out of the way.

Roy: Well, the bad news is that you would think there would be bad news. But that's been the trend lately because you've been asking me for things that I couldn't deliver. But -- you know, a picnic I can do.

Carly: Is this the boat Michael wanted?

Sonny: No. It's the one with the sail.

Carly: So you are aware of my presence.

Sonny: I'm just waiting for you to go.

Carly: Oh, yeah? What happens then? You start acting human?

Sonny: You shouldn't keep Michael and Leticia waiting in the car.

Carly: You know, Michael would enjoy this whole thing a lot better if you came with us.

Sonny: Oh, don't start with that, Carly.

Carly: Well, there's not that many perfect days left, you know. The summer's winding down.

Sonny: Thanks for the weather forecast. Do you need help with that, or can you do it on your own?

Carly: Help.

[Sonny sighs]

Sonny: If you spot any trouble, turn back, ok? Cops, reporters, anybody try to get close, you bring everybody home, pronto. Rick: You ready?

Carly: You know -- um -- go ahead and take Leticia and Michael to the park, and I'll just meet you guys there.

Sonny: What?

Carly: We both know what. Let's talk about how long. How long are you going to treat me like dirt, sonny? I'm not leaving until you tell me.

Sonny: Fine. Sit there. Miss the last days of the summer. Miss the fall for all I care.

Carly: So you won't be speaking to me until what -- could I --

Sonny: I'm speaking to you when necessary.

Carly: You have more warmth to the panhandlers on the street.

Sonny: Well, you know what? They stick out their hands, I give them money or I don't. It's a simple transaction either way. You stick out your hand, I give you money. Next thing I know, I'm in jail.

Carly: I was trying to do something to help you. Do you understand that?

Sonny: Well, you did a beautiful job.

Carly: I was trying to do something good, sonny. Doesn't that count for anything?

Sonny: No.

Carly: You know what I learned in the last couple days? Hmm?

Sonny: You know what? You never learn. That's your problem.

Carly: Mike was right, what he said about you. You make a mistake -- you make an honest mistake, you end up in sonny Siberia. So why -- why would anybody come to you and admit that they screwed up?

Sonny: No, Carly, you should sneak around and manipulate.

Carly: No, fix it so nobody ends up hurt, you know? I was trying to save mike's life and make yours better, sonny. Have you ever tried to protect somebody and end up hurting them worse? Have you ever in your life done the worst possible thing with the best of intentions? Because my heart was in the right place, sonny. Tell me that you can relate to that. Don't forgive me, you know. Ok, don't forgive me right away. But just let me know that you understand.

Jax: Chloe, it's Jax. I just wanted to hear your voice. I guess you're out. That's good because I don't want you alone. I'll give you a call back when I land, ok? I love you. Know that.

Alexis: This could be anyone.

Chloe: Including Brenda.

Alexis: Brenda's dead.

Chloe: No, she's not. She's not dead for Jax. And maybe she never has been.

Alexis: Look, he's not going to find her. He can go to Paris. He can go to the moon. He's not going to find her. She's dead.

Chloe: There is something in this photograph. There is something -- a look, a feeling. He's not crazy. There's got to be something here that tells him that this is her.

Alexis: There's a memory. There's a glimmer of someone that he lost, someone that he never got the chance to say good-bye to.

Chloe: Maybe he's never going to say good-bye to Brenda. Even if he finds her or if he doesn't, maybe he's always going to hold on to that hope that she is out there somewhere.

Alexis: He's a sensible guy, he's got his feet on the ground, and he happens to be in love with you.

Chloe: Then how do you explain the fact that he is on a plane right now on his way to Paris?

Alexis: I can't explain that. But I can tell you the worst-case scenario is he will follow his obsession. He'll go after her. He'll find her. Maybe he'll find her in a crowd. She'll turn around. He'll see that it's not her, and he'll have a broken heart for a little bit.

Chloe: Oh, god, what have I done?

Alexis: I don't know. What have you done? You didn't do anything. This is not your responsibility.

Chloe: I'm the one who persuaded him to go. I thought he needed to find out one way or another. Was that a mistake? It was, wasn't it?

Alexis: Here's what I'd do. I'd get on a plane, and I'd go to Paris.

Chloe: I can't follow h.

Alexis: Do you love him or not?

Chloe: Alexis, of course I love him.

Alexis: He picked you up off the ground. Now who's going to pick him up when he needs it now?

Chloe: Ok. I'm going to go. Thank you. Wish me luck.

Elizabeth: $1.25.

Gia: $25.

Elizabeth: Excuse me?

Gia: I've been waiting here at least 15 minutes. I charge for my time, and not minimum wage.

Elizabeth: You get paid to torture innocent people who have done absolutely nothing to you.

Gia: Innocent little angels don't wind up stoned in motels.

Elizabeth: Oh, and you would know this from your vast experience trawling around in motel parking lots? Or is it dodging cops that has taught you so much?

Gia: You're a clueless jerk.

Elizabeth: Ooh. I've hit a nerve, have I? Jeez, I'm so sorry. You know what? Just take it out of my tip. Or better yet, get really offended and leave.

Gia: Lucky and Nikolas need my help.

Elizabeth: Oh, like they need to be swarmed by killer bees.

Gia: If it weren't for me, they'd have no one to work with but a couple of airheads. That would be you and Emily.

Elizabeth: Listen, if it weren't for you --

Gia: "Hey, little girl, how about an ecstasy cocktail? You want a drink from a strange creep?" "Sure. Looks like water, tastes like paint thinner, makes my head spin. Give me more."

Elizabeth: I'm going to tell lucky and Nikolas you're looking for them so they can run the other way.

Gia: Incidentally, I saved your skin. Zander was hot on your trail, and I'm the one who stepped in his path. Nikolas and me, ok?

Elizabeth: Well, the next time you're tempted to do me a favor, please try to hold yourself back.

Gia: You're welcome.

Elizabeth: And you know what? While you're at it, stay out of my face, ok?

Lucky What's the problem here?

Gia: She has a personality disorder.

Elizabeth: Yeah, well, I'm not too fond of you, either, so why don't you get out.

Lucky Because we need her.

Elizabeth: I can't imagine any reason why we would ever need Gia.

Gia: Hey, the feeling is mutual.

Elizabeth: Excellent. Then why don't you leave?

Gia: No problem.

Elizabeth: Great.

Lucky Hey, this is -- this is real perfect. We have a killer to deal with, and you guys are fighting? Come on. I brought Gia over here for a reason, ok? Juan and Nikolas are on their way.

Gia: You boys and girls have fun with your detective work. I have other ways to amuse myself.

Lucky Hey, Zander is a killer, and he knows who you are. Now, it may be just me, but I don't think you're going to want to handle him on your own.

Gia: So far I've handled him a lot better than she has.

Lucky I didn't realize that this was a contest. We're supposed to be working together.

Gia: And where would this one be if it weren't for us? Waking up in some dive with Zander?

Elizabeth: Like you care.

Gia: Frankly, no, I wouldn't. But for some strange reason, lucky does. Have you even bothered to thank him, or do you just consider yourself entitled somehow?

Lucky Back off.

Gia: Here we go again. Lucky leaps in for the save. So, what's the story? Romantic attachment? Is that it? You're blinded by love?

Ned: I have news.

Alexis: I've been expelled from the bar association?

Ned: Good news.

Alexis: I'm only on probation?

Ned: I like what you've done to the place.

Alexis: Thanks.

Ned: Furniture's great.

Alexis: Thank you.

Ned: Your pinup days are over. The Eddie's angel video has been privately purchased.

Alexis: By some maniac with an underwear fetish?

Ned: Yes and no. By me.

Alexis: You bought the thing?

Ned: Yes, and I'm in the process of making it all go away. It's off the Eddie Maine web sites, and soon it'll just fade into oblivion.

Alexis: My god, that must have set you back.

Ned: Only financially. In other areas, I'm going to reap the benefits.

Alexis: You have no idea.

[Knock on door]

Ned: Don't answer it.

Alexis: But I have to because that could have something to do with sonny's case.

Ned: May I point out that sonny's trafficking charges are something else that you really don't need?

Alexis: Well, you could, but why? We're having such a nice time. Johnny: Building manager called from the lobby. It's jammed with reporters, he says.

Alexis: Well, tell him that I have no comment, other than that sonny's innocent on all charges. Johnny: Oh, no, they're here about your poster, miss Davis.

Alexis: Well, tell them that they're no longer available, I'm happy to say. Johnny: It's the best-selling picture on the internet. They want to know how it feels.

Sonny: Yeah, fill the shipment. Set up a meeting. I think the contract expires next week. Benny, don't worry whether I can be there or not. Proceed the usual way. Bye.

[Sonny sighs]

Carly: Can you answer me now?

Sonny: Why are you still here?

Carly: Because you never gave me an answer.

Sonny: Go to the park. Play with your son.

Carly: Sonny, I asked you a question.

Sonny: Whether -- when I am going to be friendly? This is about as friendly as it's going to get.

Carly: You don't believe I had good intentions?

Sonny: Intentions are worthless, Carly. A drunken fool gets into a car, slams into a tree. His brother's head gets in the way. What were the drunk's intentions? Who cares?

Carly: Are you comparing me to A.J.?

Sonny: You're as destructive as he is.

Carly: I'm not a drunk, sonny. I'm a very loyal person when I care about --

Sonny: You're an addict! You're an addict. You're addicted to lies. You've ied people's lives to hell and back. Look what you've done to mine. They've got me on federal drug trafficking charges. Drugs -- which I loathe and despise. I could go down peddling the filth I refuse to touch!

Carly: You are not going to go to prison, sonny.

Sonny: No?

Carly: No. I will make this -- I will make it right.

Sonny: Oh, you'll make it right like you did for my father? Like you fixed it for me with Sorel?

Carly: I'll just get up there and tell the truth, you know?

Sonny: And the jury's going to believe you, why, because of your spotless history? Honest Carly can't tell a lie? Honest Carly who's getting her financial support from the drug dealer she's trying to clear.

Carly: Well, you know, sonny, I was there. I heard what happened. What are they going to do, prove me wrong?

Sonny: You're not going to destroy my life, Carly. You got in way too close. Now I'm cutting you off. From here on in, you may be in my space, but you're out of my life.

Carly: It doesn't have to be like this. We can turn things around. I know that we can.

Sonny: You could have done that at any point when my father fed you his line. You should have come to me and told me, you know, "your father's messing up his life."

Carly: Yeah, but he said that you were going to shut him out.

Sonny: You could have turned it around when I walked into that motel room. Instead, you stayed in the closet and let me incriminate myself.

Carly: I panicked, sonny.

Sonny: How about when your tape was running and the cops you tipped off were on their way?

Carly: I just -- and everything happened so fast.

Sonny: Oh, come on. It took weeks. Starting with the lie about the house -- the down payment you needed for a home for Michael, the down payment to sabotage my life.

Carly: Have you ever done anything that you felt really sorry for?

Sonny: Sorry? That's the story of your life.

Carly: Sonny, look, I'm just asking you to forgive me. You know?

Sonny: Listen to me. Ask me for a roof over your head, protection, for money. You say the word, you got it. But don't ask me to trust you because I'm finished.

Carly: So that's it, then.

Sonny: Yeah, that's it. Got any more questions?

Carly: No. No, you covered it.

Roy: I'm sorry.

Bobbie: Venice is magic.

Roy: Yeah. Well, I believe you. How do you know, though? How -- did -- did jerry take you to Venice?

Bobbie: I've seen post cards, all right.

Roy: Oh.

Bobbie: Anybody who handles an oar like you do definitely has a future in water transportation.

Roy: You like the way I handled that oar there?

Bobbie: Yeah.

Roy: That's funny you should mention that because when I was a kid, I used to dream of growing up to become a gondola jockey. But then I realized you only get to dip one oar in the water. And I thought, you know, without that balance thing you get from the two oars that I just probably couldn't cut it, so I thought I'd pursue a different career.

Bobbie: Well, we could always open an Italian Kelly's.

Roy: And live happily ever after? Is that the idea?

Bobbie: In the most romantic city in the world.

Roy: It's not port Charles?

Bobbie: Certainly was today.

Roy: You know, we don't have to run away from our lives. We can clear a space right where we are.

Bobbie: You do realize I was kidding about Venice?

Roy: Well, you were and you weren't. You know, there's been so much tension lately with the cops and with sonny and the thing with mike, and I just -- I can't -- I can't seem to make it go away. But god knows we need to take breaks from that kind of vibe and, you know, spend a few more days like today.

Bobbie: I take it back. You are way too smart to waste your life in a gondola.

Elizabeth: Do you have a boyfriend, Gia? Have you ever been in love? When was the last time you were on an actual date? These questions don't annoy you, do they?

Gia: I wasn't asking you. I was asking lucky. Are you some kind of couple? Yes or no?

Lucky What difference could it possibly make to you?

Elizabeth: Translation -- it's none of your business. Nikolas: Well, I see everybody's feeling comfortable and relaxed. I'm sure we have you to thank for that.

Gia: Elizabeth and lucky were just confiding in me that they're more or less engaged.

Elizabeth: Oh, come on, Gia.

Gia: But they're being incredibly secret about the wedding date. Have you any idea when it is? Nikolas: We will let you know.

Gia: So you're ok with this? You seem to be taking it well, considering you're hung up on Elizabeth.

Elizabeth: Oh, please.

Gia: Which must get sort of awkward sometimes. Nikolas: This little love analysis -- you come up with that on your own?

Gia: I'm a quick study. Haven't you noticed? Nikolas: No, but I hope it's true because if you can't get along with the rest of the group, you're going to be dealing with Zander on your own.

Ned: Well, it turns out it's not a good idea to douse internet fires with money. Apparently it just fans the flames.

Alexis: Well, let's look at the positive side. We learned something.

Ned: Or you can just shoot me now or throw me on the pyre.

Alexis: You did your best. You made it worse, but you did your best, and that's all that matters.

Ned: Are you really this calm, or are we in a prelude to a meltdown?

Alexis: I'm working on a new perspective.

Ned: You mean when you tell yourself that things could get a lot worse?

Alexis: At least I'm in love with a man who cares enough about me to throw money and try to spare me embarrassment.

Ned: Well, you're allowed to get upset.

Alexis: I've done upset. Now I'm going to count my blessings, starting with you.

Ned: Oh. I love it when you get philosophical.

Alexis: And I love it when you get protective. You know, I claim to be independent and all, and I am --

Ned: And how well I know.

Alexis: But I am truly touched that you honor me enough to spend all that money in order to get rid of all the bad money. Or something like that.

Ned: I'm deeply impressed by this line of thought. Care to expand?

Alexis: Oh, I would love to except I have to go to work, you see, because contrary to the internet, I am not your groupie. I'm a lawyer.

Ned: You are?

Alexis: And I'm a very, very, very busy lawyer, so you have to go and come back later.

Ned: Later.

Alexis: Love you.

Alexis: Just breathe. I can breathe. I've been breathing for a long time. This will just blow right over, and I'll just keep breathing. God.

[Knock on door]

Alexis: Who's there?

Sonny: Sonny.

Alexis: Sonny who?

Sonny: Sonny.

Alexis: I'm sorry. Did we have an appointment? Because I kind of lost track of the time.

Sonny: You want me to go back and call for an appointment?

Alexis: No, I just thought I'd forgotten.

Sonny: Oh.

Alexis: That's all.

Sonny: All right.

Alexis: Come in.

Sonny: We -- we got rid of the reporters.

Alexis: Good. What did you do?

Sonny: Johnny gave them an offer they couldn't refuse -- either they leave or we charge them with trespassing.

Alexis: That's good.

Sonny: Yeah.

Alexis: I mean, that was an excellent thing to say.

Sonny: Uh-huh.

Alexis: Because you have to stay on top of the media. No matter how intrusive they get, you have to pretend that you're in control.

Sonny: "Pretend"?

Alexis: No matter how insulting they get or how personal the question, you have to -- to -- well, you know, questions like "where do you buy your underwear" and then "how many times a week do you have sex" --

Sonny: Oh. Well, they've never come at me with that one.

Alexis: No, I was just using that as an example.

Sonny: Oh.

Alexis: Because, you know, people want to know things. They have fixations. They have sick little ideas in their twisted little minds, and they want to project them on to you. For instance, there could be adolescent boys drooling over pictures of my naked skin -- pictures that shouldn't even be there in the first place and wouldn't be there had I had any sense at all.

Sonny: I can see you're not in the frame of mind to go over my case right now, so I'm going to go ahead and take off.

Alexis: Well, that is absolutely untrue and unfair, I might add, because I'm a professional and I'm very focused. In fact, I pride myself on how focused I am. I am right on top of your case, sonny. I'm just falling apart, that's all.

Carly: Sonny? Sonny?

[Door opens] Leticia: Hey. We missed you.

Carly: Hey, little man. How are you? I'm sorry I didn't make it to the park. I got caught up. Was he upset? Leticia: Oh, he had a good time.

Carly: Oh, good. Johnny, have you seen sonny? Johnny: Yeah, he's across the hall with miss Davis. I'm taking an envelope over to the warehouse. I shouldn't be gone long.

Carly: We'll be fine. Michael: I got a new shovel.

Carly: You got a new shovel, huh? So, baby boy, did you float your boat in the water? Leticia: Yeah, and his feet. He got really dirty. First thing he needs is a bath.

Carly: Ok. Would you do me a favor? Go upstairs and run a bath for him, and I'll bring him up in just a few minutes? Leticia: Ok.

Carly: Thanks. Really sorry I didn't make it to the park, baby blue. I wanted to, but, you know, I got caught up here and tied up. Look what I got. Oh, what do you want? Look at this. These men in your little speedboat. I never mean to, you know, break promises or disappoint you. You know that, don't you, kiddo? People make mistakes sometimes, you know. Sometimes we make really big ones. You're going to make mistakes, too, when you get bigger. You know that? You won't want to, but you will. Some people get really, really, really mad at you, and they may never even speak to you again, but -- people who really love you will forgive you and give you another chance. That's how you know that somebody really loves you, you know. Because no matter how bad you screw up, they -- they never turn their back on you. They never shut you out. That's how much I love you, baby. You know that? As long as I'm alive. And I will always take care of you.

Bobbie: How'd things go with Mac?

Roy: Ok.

Bobbie: "Ok"? Then you don't want to discuss it?

Roy: Thought we were going to take a break from the stress.

Bobbie: It was stressful? I'm curious. Shoot me. Ro well, he -- he -- he offered me a job, I think.

Bobbie: Really?

Roy: Yeah. Rescuing some undercover cop.

Bobbie: So, what'd you say?

Roy: I said no.

Bobbie: Any reason in particular?

Roy: Two -- sonny and Luke. Any deal I make with Mac has got to be a trap for one of those guys.

Bobbie: I guess you're right.

Roy: Yeah.

Bobbie: You know, Mac wasn't always like this. He used to be the fairest guy around. And then he lost Felicia. He's changed.

Roy: She blew his trust. Not just in the relationship, but in the world.

Bobbie: Trust. That's it, you know? Trust is the main ingredient that holds people together when life is pushing them apart. We lost it once, but we got it back. Promise me we won't lose it again. Singer: I had a good life before you came I had my friends and my freedom and I had my name still there was sorrow and emptiness till you made me glad oh, in this love I found strength never knew I had and this love singers: This love this love singer: Is like nothing I have ever known singers: This love this love nothing I have ever known singer: Take my hand, love I'm taking you home taking you home

Gia: Well, this is nice. Everybody's minding their manners. Even the waitress is pleasant. You do realize she gets these horrible moods.

Elizabeth: And I feel one coming on right about now.

Gia: Oh, go ahead. Show your fan club how obnoxious you can be. Nikolas: So this is where I came in.

Lucky I thought we had agreed to get along.

Gia: Yes, for a specific reason -- us versus Zander, some big plan. Unfortunately, I haven't heard it yet.

Lucky Well, I'll let you know as soon as Juan gets here.

Gia: Fine. And in the meantime? You know, light conversation's not easy with her.

Elizabeth: Why don't you sit there in silence? Nikolas: Or order something to eat.

Gia: From whom? Oh, nice of you to show up.

Elizabeth: Hi. Juan: I was laying background tracks. I got here as soon as I could.

Lucky No problem.

Gia: So now can you tell us your genius idea?

Lucky Simple. We frame Zander for murdering Ted, which he did.

Gia: You said you got rid of the drug paraphernalia. What do you plan to use as evidence against Zander?

Lucky Ted's body.

Gia: Very funny. Nikolas: So, what are you suggesting? That we slip Ted into Zander's backpack?

Gia: You're not going to dig up a dead body. Nikolas: We never buried him.

Lucky We go to a rave. Gia goes into her druggie act and keeps Zander busy. Juan comes up and snags the keys out of his pocket. Juan: Yeah, I can do that.

Gia: Back up. About this body --

Lucky We wait for Juan out in the parking lot. Nikolas: This is the part that I'm not going to like.

Lucky Ted's in your trunk. Nikolas: Yep, saw that coming.

Lucky We transfer Ted into Zander's car. Nikolas: He's got a tennis racket. This is a frozen corpse.

Gia: Frozen? Excuse me? Frozen?

Elizabeth: Ted's in a freezer in the cellar at Wyndemere, ok?

Gia: With the leg of lamb and the sorbet? Nikolas: Would you please relax, all right? It's not your freezer, it's mine, and I'm the one taking the risk.

Lucky Meanwhile, at the rave, Gia's still doing her thing. Juan comes back up, slips the keys back into his pocket.

Gia: This is a bad Alfred Hitchcock movie.

Lucky I dial 911, tip the cops off that there's this guy Zander peddling drugs at a rave. They show up, bust Zander, search his trunk, and find one of their own. Well? Is it perfect or what?

Elizabeth: Ok. Number one, it is incredibly dangerous. And number two, it will never work.

Bobbie: How am I going to leave you?

Roy: It's only two weeks.

Bobbie: You don't intend to miss me at all?

Roy: Don't they have phones at the diabetes center?

Bobbie: Oh, Mr. Blasé.

Roy: Not at all. I'm Mr. Grateful. Baby, I waited 20 years for this, you know? Compared to that, two weeks is painless.

[Telephone rings]

[rings]

[Bobbie laughs]

Roy: Yeah. Luke? Where are you?

Alexis: We have a problem with your principal witness.

Sonny: Carly.

Alexis: Little credibility problem.

Sonny: Nobody's going to believe what she said, anyway.

Alexis: Especially if she says that you're innocent.

Sonny: What if she claims I'm guilty?

Alexis: Too risky. We can't put her on the stand.

Sonny: Ok. How?

Alexis: I have an idea, but it's a bit extreme.

Sonny: Wire Carly's mouth shut?

Alexis: Worse. You realize that a defendant can never be compelled to testify against himself.

Sonny: What does this have to do with Carly?

Alexis: Neither can the defendant's spouse.

Sonny: Ok, hold --

Alexis: See, the law sees married people as one.

Sonny: You're joking, right?

Alexis: I told you it was a bit extreme. I just can't think of any other way to go about this.

Sonny: So you're telling me I got two options -- go to prison or marry Carly?

[Knock on door]

Carly: Jason.

Doorman: Mademoiselle just stepped out of the elevator.

Man: Late, as usual.

Woman: Yes. I'm worth the wait.

Jax: Brenda!

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Lucky Who's in, who's out? No hard feelings either way.
