General Hospital Transcript Wednesday 2/23/00 Provided by Laura Ned: Hi, Jax. Jax: Hello. Chloe: I assured Ned that I could make it over here with my eyes closed, but -- but he wouldn't let me fly solo yet. Jax: Yeah. Ned: My soon-to-be ex-wife is feeling a little cocky today because she found her way around the toaster and the coffee pot this morning. Jax: Is that right? Chloe: I did. Without burning anything. Not even a finger. You know, with all this progress I’m making and with all my friends, I feel like I can face anything. [Knock on door] Jax: Excuse me. Ned: It's the red-haired witch from the north. Gertrude: Hello, Chloe darling. Has there been any improvement? Obviously not. Well, let me tell you what this is. This is your copy of an injunction against you. Officially and legally, Chloe Morgan designs now belongs to me. Laura: Well, I wish every one of my kids were doing as well as Juan. Tony: Well, Juan’s an exception. He grew up in a loving family. And even when he left it, his dad cared enough to track him down and to make sure that he stayed under adult supervision. And most of the other kids in this program, they have you and the outreach sponsor, and other than that they have no one. Laura: Yes. But they're trying. They are all really trying, god bless them. So, what do you think of my funding idea? Tony: Oh, I’m going to help you any way I can. But you have to know that I was actually sold on the program when you suggested we have lunch anywhere other than the g.h. cafeteria, so -- Laura: Well, just so you know, this is going on Alan Quartermaine’s tab. Tony: Then we'll have dessert. And I want you to know that you have a knack for this. I mean, more than just how the system works. You have a gift for being sensitive to those kids. Laura: Thanks. If that's true, I guess I must have developed it after lucky moved out. Anyways, I do really want to help kids and their parents, too, if they're willing. I want to help them to avoid making the same mistakes that I made. Tony: You know, Stefan’s lucky to have you in charge of this program. Very lucky. I haven't seen much of him lately, though. Laura: He's been in and out of town on business. Tony: And I imagine you miss him? Laura: Yes, I do. I do. But, actually, the time apart has been good for me. It's been giving me some time to think. Alexis: Request list of decisions on all single-parent paternal right cases in the United States, order full sets on all wins in this state. Also, same scope -- list of all unfit parent rulings in the last two years. I think that should -- you're back. Stefan: Are we alone? Alexis: Uh -- yeah. Did you find lucky? Stefan: Helena had him at a remote estate in Nova Scotia. By the time my rescue team arrived, the place was deserted. We missed him by a few hours, maybe less. Alexis: You know, you're lucky the place wasn't booby-trapped. Stefan: We took that into consideration. How much of a case have you been able to build against Helena? Alexis: I've subpoenaed the police records. I can prove the trail of money moving out of Helena’s account to Faison’s, and I’ve been able to cross-reference their travel patterns. Now, they'd been very active -- I should say interactive with eh other -- at the time of Lucky’s alleged death. And Helena’s made several trips to the Sahara. My guess is that she's moved lucky somewhere inside Libya. Stefan: Your "guess" won't help us in court. Alexis: There are bunkers, and I’m tracking down some hard evidence as we speak. You know, kidnapping charges are not going to stick if we can't produce a victim. And Mac Scorpio’s afraid to put any more money into prosecuting Helena on any charge, let alone a case where the department believes that arson is accidental fire. Stefan: If Faison is implicated, Scorpio will press for a trial. Alexis: I think the important element here is lucky. Now, how are you going to find him if Helena thinks you're tracking her? Stefan: I'm not convinced she does. She may have him in a constant relocation pattern to disorient the boy and to avoid detection. Alexis: Do you have any idea where he is now? Stefan: No. But fortunately there is someone who will tell me. Felicia: I remember the last time we were on Helena’s yacht. Luke: Yeah, when that boy toy got skewered like an overripe chunk of green shish kebab. Felicia: Oh. You just have this way with words. It sort of turns me on a little bit. So, what are we looking for? Some address? Luke: It's like a needle in a haystack. Helena uses Faison to nab lucky, fake his death. And then Stefan moves him around the globe for a year. He plants him on that estate up in Nova Scotia for a couple of days, and then he moves him again. So I’m hoping that Helena’s got some kind of record or address or phone number or name of a contact. Felicia: Uh-huh. Well, this phone number or address could be local, which means lucky would be close by. Luke: That's exactly what I’m hoping. Felicia: Yes. Alexis: Someone else knows about lucky? Stefan: Yes. The person who initially steered me to Nova Scotia. Alexis: You know, I’m not comfortable with this whole approach. Lucky's life is at stake here -- if he's still alive. And if Helena keeps moving him because she thinks you're on to her, what's to keep her from killing him if -- to cover her tracks? Stefan: If you're suggesting I bring in the authorities, I won't. Helena murdered Katherine bell, her manservant, Cesar Faison. She recently tried to run you down, and yet the authorities can't even keep her in jail. Alexis: Tell Luke. Stefan: I can't tell Luke. He's too volatile. Alexis: Lucky is his son. Stefan: Lucky is Laura’s son. I won't let Luke ride in there, guns blazing, and end up getting the boy killed. Alexis: And you can't tell Laura because you're afraid she'll tell Luke. Stefan: I will not put her through the pain of knowing her son is alive but still in mortal danger. That is what I will not do. Alexis, I have given this a great deal of thought. Now, do not make me regret putting my trust in you. Alexis: All right, all right. I made you a promise. I will keep my promise. However, I am concerned that this whole thing could blow up in your face. Stefan: Don't worry. [Door opens] Luke: Me. Felicia: I'm not finding anything. How about you? Luke: Just enough massage oil to work the kinks out of the Tennessee titans. Felicia: Really? Luke: Yeah. Felicia: I know that this was a long shot, but I don't think that Helena would leave anything around for somebody to find. Luke: You're probably right. Felicia: Yeah. [Noise] Alan: You -- you are the best. Monica: So are you. Oh, I had forgotten just what kind of an oasis this place is when nobody's around. Alan: It's a shame that we don't have time to finish lunch before we go back to the hospital. Monica: Listen, we could use our influence as past, present, and future chiefs of staff, clear our schedules, and just go back upstairs. Alan: Unfortunately, I have a date with Gertrude. Although I don't really see the point anymore. Monica: We've got to make sure that A.J. keeps his position at E.L.Q., and the last thing he needs is Ned back in his face. So, if wooing Gertrude will keep Ned at bay, then it's a small price. Alan: Yeah, well, you don't have to sit across the table from her and pretend to fall in love. Monica: Well, maybe just what you need is a little pep rally before the big game. Alan: Ooh, I love that kind of rally. Gertrude: I have photographic evidence of Chloe and Jax together, which proves that both of your marriages are scams to rob me of what my Herbert wanted me to have. Now, it clearly stated in the will that Chloe had to marry for love, which she did not. She married out of desperation to save Chloe Morgan designs, which by the terms of the will is now mine. Ned: I think she's finished. Jax: Yes, it's time to go. Chloe: No, wait. Gertrude, you're right. You get my company. But I am still the winner because I get to be in love and to be loved and I don't have to worry about growing old alone or being pitied. You want my company? Take it. But you are still going to envy me. Ned: Actually, Gertrude, you've done us a favor. You helped us all realize and appreciate the things that we have that many people never find. Jax: Yes. And as for Chloe Morgan designs, I mean, what is it without Chloe and her talent? It's nothing. Gertrude: We'll rebuild. Ned: You and the turban guy? We should be able to drive them into chapter 11 in a couple months. Gertrude: Well, we'll see. Business aside, Chloe, I hope you know that I would never have wished this kind of fate on you. Chloe: The doctors haven't given up hope that I’ll recover my sight. It's really you I feel sorry for, Gertrude, because from where I stand, it's you who's blind. Gertrude: Sour grapes. Such an unbecoming attitude. Well, good-bye, all. Chloe: I suppose that was cruel. Jax: No, no, you said the truth. If she doesn't like it, that's -- that's her deal. Ned: You ok? Chloe: Yeah. Amazingly, I am. Hey -- Ned: Hmm? Chloe: Being married to you was one of the happiest times of my life. Ned: Ditto. Listen, if you're going to be ok, I have some unfinished business to take care of. Although, if I was really as sadistic as my family thinks I am, I’d let it slide a little while longer. Nah. I'll see you two later. Jax: See you. Chloe: Bye. I suppose you have work to do, too? Jax: No. No, I’m yours for the rest of the day. We can do whatever you want. We can bundle up, go for a walk in the park, or -- go fishing or skydiving -- Chloe: I know exactly where I want to go. Jax: Yeah? Chloe: Mm-hmm. But first I want to celebrate. Jax: To freedom. Chloe: To freedom. And you know what the good thing is? Now that the worst of Gertrude is over, it's going to be smooth sailing from here. Jax: Yeah. Monica: [as Gertrude] I am having a wonderful time. Alan: Me, too. Monica: When do you have to be back to that vile shrew of a woman? Alan: What? Monica: [normal voice] we are practicing. I'm pretending to be Gertrude. Alan: Oh, I forgot. Monica: Now, come on. [As Gertrude] what time do you have to be back to that overbearing woman? Alan: You really think people see you that way? Monica: [normal voice] oh! What is the matter with you? We're pretending. Alan: It's just that it's hard for me to think of a reason, you know, that's terrible, why I would want to leave you. I just keep thinking of reasons why I want to stay with you. I guess I’m just destined to fall in love with you over and over again. Monica: It works both ways. But, unfortunately, that won't help A.J. so, this afternoon I’m going to send Gertrude a dozen roses signed "Alan." and then, after dinner, I think -- I think you should take her dancing. Alan: I'll get home so late. Monica: I'll wait up. Ned: Hello? Monica: Oh -- Alan: Oh, it's you. Ned: Resume your positions. You're free to do whatever you want. Gertrude has Chloe’s company. All bets are off. Emily: "tip number six. If a problem has a fraction in both the question and the answer, just drop the calculator." Juan: Do you think it's fair that I’m stuck being the janitor? Emily: Juan, please. I have a test in six weeks. Juan: While prince Nik, all he has to do is complain to his aunt, and the next day he's vice president of this place. Emily: He's not vice president. He's director of P.R. and he's good at it. Juan: Well, I could be good at it if they'd give me a chance. Emily: You're good at something else, but you won't pursue it. Juan: Anyone can sing. Emily: Not the way you can. Juan, you have a gift. [Door opens] Jax: The boss is here. Juan: Hey. Emily: Hey. Chloe: Hi. Hi, guys. Jax: Chloe wanted to come in and do some work today. Chloe: Yeah. I think the first thing I should do is learn to retrieve my voice mail messages. Juan: Oh, sure. Here, let me help you. Chloe: No, no, I got it. Emily: Oh, careful. Juan: Oh, it's no problem. Chloe: What -- what got broken? Juan: Nothing. Jax: It's just a vase. Juan: I'll clean it up. It's not -- it's not a problem. Emily: No, no, no. I'll clean it up. It's ok. Chloe: Did anything important get wet? Juan: No. You know what? It's my fault. I -- I was cleaning up, and -- just now the vase isn't where it's supposed to be, and I should have put it back. Chloe: None of my sketches got wet? Juan: No. Jax: Listen, Chloe and I were thinking about getting a hot chocolate. Do you guys want to go out for a run, get some? Emily: Sure. Juan: Yeah. Jax: Do you need money? Chloe: No, just use the petty cash in the drawer. Juan: Ok. All right. Jax: Thanks. Chloe: That was painfully embarrassing. Jax: No, you were fine. Here -- turn around. You're sitting at the conference table, ok? And I’m going to get you the phone. Chloe: No, no, don't get me the phone. What am I doing here, Jax? Why did we come here? Laura: Thanks. Anyway, when I think of Stefan, I -- I think how grateful I am to him for all of the things that he's done for me. Tony: So Luke’s really out of the picture? Laura: Uh -- Luke has really moved on, u know. I don't see him except when he picks up lulu or drops her off. Tony: Felicia mentioned the other day what a good time that she and Georgie had in the park a couple of weeks ago with Luke and Lulu. Laura: You know, I know she's your ex-sister-in-law and you're still close to her, but that's -- it's a subject that I just want to steer clear of right now, ok? Oh, no. You don't -- you don't know. Please just forget I said that. Please. Please. Tony: I can't forget it. I saw the look that crossed your face. Laura: Oh, no. Tony: Now, wait -- now -- are you suggesting that Felicia and Luke are -- Laura: Um -- Mac: What a coincidence. I was just thinking about you. [Door closes] Luke: This is a waste. Let's go to Wyndemere. We should have gone there first. Felicia: Don't worry. We'll find something. Luke: If we don't, I may have to lay low for a while and keep an eye on Helena and Stefan until they -- [Door opens] Felicia: Jeez. [Door closes] Felicia: That guy -- that Ari guy, wasn't he murdered? Remember the ice pick? Luke: No, no, no. That's not Ari. That's his twin brother. Apparently Helena gets a discount if she buys her boys in pairs. Felicia: Really? Luke: Uh-huh. Felicia: Does he know what happened to his brother? Luke: I have no idea. But judging from the champagne he's laid out, the old lady's on her way. Felicia: All right. So, do you want to leave, or shall we stay? Luke: We stay. Felicia: Stay. [Door closes] Andreas: What are you doing here? Stefan: I'm here to see you. And since it appears my mother is due back any moment, we should speak quickly. I'm certain the last thing you want is her finding you speaking with me again. So, tell me, where is Helena holding lucky Spencer? Mac: Georgie had such a good time with lulu the other day, I was wondering if you wanted to bring lulu over for dinner sometime. Laura: Oh. That sounds like fun. Can I bring anything besides my daughter? Mac: No. I've gotten really good at making grilled cheese. Laura: Oh. Mac: Even though the girls keep trying to tell me that bread and cheese is not a two-course meal. Laura: Ah. Well, I tell you what. You make the grilled cheese, and I’ll bring some homemade soup. Mac: That sounds great. Laura: Ok. Tony: So, is -- is Felicia out of town again? Mac: More research. Sorry to interrupt. Excuse me. Tony: So, this research trip that Felicia’s on -- does it also include Luke? Laura: Yes. Please don't ask any more questions. Please. Tony: Well, does Mac know? Laura: Yes. Tony: And are you sure that it's -- you know -- Laura: I know Luke. Tony: Well, I know Felicia, and she's devoted to Mac. Laura: I guess things aren't always what they seem. Monica: The four of you have been pretending all this time? Alan: I knew it. Monica: You did not. Alan: Well, father was saying it all along. Ned: Well, for once he was right. It was the only way we could think of for Chloe to keep her company. Monica: Well, why didn't Jax marry Chloe? Ned: Fate stepped in, and everything worked out all right. Alan: So you and Alexis have continued to -- Ned: Be together -- in secret. Alan: Hmm. Ned: And Jax and Chloe ended up falling in love with each other. Monica: Oh. So that explains why you let him stay at the hospital so much. Ned: Mm-hmm. And Gertrude caught them together and got photographs proving that Chloe was in violation of her Uncle Herbert’s will. She didn't remain happily married to me for one full year. So Chloe Morgan designs goes back to Gertrude, and I no longer need your services. Monica: What about your plans about E.L.Q.? Ned: I have my own company to run rig now and a woman I intend to romance like no one has ever been romanced. Monica: Wait, Ned. How is Chloe? I mean, did losing her company hit her hard? Ned: Well, she knows her company is not the most important thing in her life. Monica: Well, he didn't say he is planning on coming back to E.L.Q. Alan: Hmm. We'll find a way to help A.J. I love that phrase that Ned used -- "I’m going to romance that woman like no one has ever been romanced." so, tell me, you want red roses or pink? Monica: Red. Alan: Pink it is. Jax: Here you go. Pen. Chloe: I can't be a designer if I can't see, Jax. It was wishful thinking coming here. Being a designer is all I ever wanted to be. But I don't want to live a life where I’m getting pitied all the time. I didn't have to see Juan and Emily to feel how sorry they felt for me. My job -- this job involves me flying around the world and seeing shapes and colors and drawing and seeing something wrong with the model and fixing it. Taking a little straight pin out of a pincushion and tightening a dart or loosening it. I'm not feeling sorry for myself here. I just -- I just feel lost. Jax: It's only temporary, just like your blindness could be. Chloe: Could be. Elizabeth: Hi. I'm sorry, you guys. I was just looking for Emily and Juan. Chloe. Chloe, hey, it's me, Elizabeth. Chloe: Hi. Elizabeth: Emily said you were out of the hospital. It's good to see you up and around. Chloe: Yeah, this is my first big trip out. Elizabeth: Well, how's it going? [Telephone rings] Chloe: I'm going to get that. Hello. Chloe Morgan designs. What exactly does he need? The mauve design dress -- the number for that? Ok. No, I know exactly which dress you're talking about. For the Oscars, right? The last time I saw it, it was somewhere -- it was right here. Um -- Elizabeth: Here it is. Here it is. Cate, Oscars, number 9451. Chloe: It's number 9451. Chloe: All right. Just tell Henri to call Paulo if he doesn't get the beads in time. Thank you. Good-bye. Elizabeth, I can't believe how quickly you spotted that drawing. Elizabeth: Oh. Well, mauve is one of my favorite colors for painting. Jax: Chloe, you still looking for an assistant? Chloe: Well, I broached that subject once before with Elizabeth, but that was before my life got a bit chaotic. And it's going to get even more so because Chloe Morgan designs is now officially transferring ownership. Jax: Yes, but she's going to rebuild, and she will clearly need an assistant. Elizabeth: Well, I’m -- I’m still interested, Chloe. But I don't know anything about your business. Chloe: Well, you know about colors, and you know how to answer the phone. And I’m going to be groping my way around, so maybe we can feel our way together. Elizabeth: Well, are you thinking full-time or part-time? Chloe: Part-time. I wouldn't want you to give anything up until you saw how this worked out. Elizabeth: Oh, ok. Well, great. Right now I’m late for Kelly’s, and I’m taking six hours of classes this semester. But just so you know, I’m really interested. Chloe: You're hired. Now, go. Don't be late for your other job. Elizabeth: Oh, here. Let me write down my number for you. And if you lose it -- Chloe: I'll just -- I’ll call Emily. Elizabeth: Ok. Perfect. Chloe: Thank you. Jax: Emily and Juan just went for a hot chocolate run. Do you want me to tell them anything? Elizabeth: Nah, I was just stopping by. Jax: Ok. Elizabeth: Bye. Chloe: Bye, Elizabeth. Jax: See you. Chloe: Jax, that was a very sweet suggestion, but I don't know how much of an assistant I’m going to need if I’m not designing. Jax: Don't be so negative. You're tenacious and brilliant. Your talent will find a way to shine through. Chloe: I love you for saying that. Jax: Well, it's what I believe. Emily: Hey. Juan: We're back. Jax: Hey. Chloe: Hi. Emily: So, I saw -- I saw Elizabeth going to the bus stop, saying something about working here. Chloe: Did she look excited or scared? Emily: Well, she -- she looked thrilled, and she sounded thrilled. Juan: But she's not going to be the director of anything, is she? Chloe: She's going to be my assistant. Juan: All right. Well, hot chocolate -- Jax: Thanks. Juan: With whipped cream. Here you go. Be careful because it's still really hot. Chloe: Thank you. Juan: Yeah. Anything else you need? Chloe: Yes. I need for everyone to relax. I know this is new for all of us, but I think we can get through it together. Ok? Emily: Sure. Juan: Yeah. Chloe: All right. Now I’m going to get out of your way so you guys can go back to whatever you were doing before Jax and I interrupted you. Do you have the hot chocolate? Jax: Yes, I have yours. This way. Chloe: Thank you. Jax: Thanks, Juan. Juan: Yeah. Jax: See you later. Ok. Stop right there. Purse. And coat. Chloe: Thank you. Jax: There. Right this way. Juan: I must be the biggest jerk alive. Monica: Tell Ramsey I’ll be there in 30 minutes. Thank you, Audrey. Alan: Well, now it all starts to make sense. Ned being here at New Year’s, Chloe being in Milan. Ned and Chloe getting a hotel suite. Monica: Jax being at the hospital round the clock. I thought he was just there because he felt responsible for being with her. Alan: Well, what else are we staring at that we're missing? Monica: Well, listen, to our credit, we have been going through the Carly debacle for the past year. She has single-handedly ruined both our sons' lives. A.J. has been sober three years now. If that woman drives him back to drinking, I will personally see that she curses even the name port Charles. I don't care if Bobbie is her mother. Alan: Well, we're certainly not going to solve anything tonight. However, having canceled dinner reservations with Gertrude, I actually still am holding the reservation at the hotel, which would be at approximately 8:00. So, how do you feel about that? Monica: Very good. Alan: Well, put your dancing shoes on, girlie. Stefan: We both know what my mother does to traitors. I'm not leaving here until you tell me where she's taken the Spencer boy. Andreas: I have no idea where she has him, I swear. Stefan: That's not good enough. Now, tell me what you do know. Andreas: I only know it's close by. She went by car to see the boy and was back in a matter of hours. Stefan: What else? Andreas: I don't know any more. You're going to get me killed. Then what good will I be to you? Stefan: When my mother arrives, all it will take is a look. A glance I give you will plant a seed of doubt in her mind. Andreas: She leased a cabin. Stefan: Where? Andreas: Near Spring Lake. Juan: Here I was whining about sweeping floors, and Chloe might have to spend the rest of her life blind. I've got nothing to complain about. Emily: Yeah, I’m amazed at how she's taking it. Juan: Me, too. I mean, I know how much she loves to draw, and now she can't. And it made me think about what if I woke up one day and I couldn't sing? You know, maybe you're right. Maybe I shouldn't take that for granted. Emily: Juan, you have a gift. It was given to you just like it was with Chloe. You just need to learn how to honor it. Jax: That better? Chloe: Much. Jax: Do you know how proud of you I am for going in to work today? Chloe: I just answered the phone one time, Jax. Jax: A lot of people in your situation wouldn't have made the effort. Or make coffee and toast this morning. Chloe: For me it's harder to sit and do nothing. Jax: Well, in that case, I think divorces all around should be next on the to-do list. I mean, with Gertrude satisfied, there's no reason for any of us to stay married. Chloe: Yes, I suppose Ned and Alexis would like their freedom as soon as possible. Jax: Not more than I would. Tony: Thank you. [Pager beeps] Laura: Thanks. Tony: Excuse me. Laura: Ok. Tony: See you. Bye. Laura: Bye. Ned: It's over. Gertrude showed up with a court injunction. Alexis: Well, we all knew that was going to happen. I'll look at the paperwork. But the truth is she has a legitimate case. We are technically, all of us, guilty of defrauding her. How's Chloe? Ned: She told Gertrude to take over the company. And when she made some crack about her blindness, she said she wasn't the one who's blind in the room. Alexis: So Gertrude has her company to keep her warm at night and I get to do this in public. Ned: I guess that future we were discussing has -- has come sooner than we thought. Of course, your reservation about disappointing your in-laws notwithstanding. I hope you're up for this. Alexis: Now that our marriages to other people are dissolved, we're going to have to come up with new reasons not to want to spend every moment together. Ned: Sorry. Can't think of one. Alexis: Oh. Felicia: Luke wants to forget about this whole thing with Faison, and so do I. Mac: Does it help to pretend nothing happened? Felicia: Well, I thought I was going to die. I thought that my whole life was going to end in that terrible place and that I was never going to see my girls again. I'm sorry for the late notice. Mac: You have to leave today? Felicia: Soon. Now. Mac: Working on Lila’s memoirs again? Felicia: That's right. Mac: Never knew research took so long. Felicia: Let me do this. Mac: I really don't have a choice, do I? Felicia: This is the last time, I promise. Mac: You do whatever you have to do. Felicia: I'll call you tonight. Mac: Ok. Laura: Hey. Mac: Hi. Laura: How are you really? Mac: Manage to get through my days. I mean, I focus on work and the girls. But it sneaks in. It's just not something I ever thought I would have to deal with. Felicia and I -- we were so careful. We took so much time getting together. I never thought it would fall apart so fast. Laura: Don't give up so easily. Please, take it from someone who watched her family dissolve around her. A family is worth fighting for. Andreas: I don't know if this lake cabin is where madam is holding the Spencer boy. Stefan: I doubt my mother procured the property out of any love of nature. Andreas: I don't know anything else. Stefan: Shh. She will suspect something if you don't remain calm. [Telephone rings] Andreas: Hello. Yes, madam. Everything's been very quiet. I'll leave right now. Luke: If Helena’s brought lucky back to his own back yard, it means her plan's about to pop. Felicia: So, we go to Spring Lake? Luke: Spring Lake. Let's see if we can beat those others there >> On the next "General Hospital" -- Jax: We'll get through this. Chloe: I just don't know if I can anymore. Taggert: Freeze! Nobody move. Roy: What? What? Taggert: Put your hands where I can see them! Carly: You think I’m going to stop by a clinic and steal somebody else's DNA? Edward: Nothing you do would surprise me. Alexis: Were you ever physically abused as a child? |
