Episode #13940 ~ Chloe tells Brady that Philip is using Titan to launder mob money; Kayla does her best to soothe an agitated Ava; Rafe accuses Charlie of being Allie's attacker; Allie comes face to face with Charlie.

Brady: So you're saying that xander dissolved the shell company that you were using to launder the mob money?

Philip: Yes. That was my whole operation. That sadistic idiot pulled the plug.

Brady: That explains why I couldn't find it. I was trying to figure out a way to get you out of this mess.

Chloe: Well, that also means that xander knows what you're up to, and he'll be out for blood.

Philip: Believe me, xander is the least of my worries.

Sarah: Hey, I got your message. What's so urgent?

Xander: Philip.

Sarah: Don't tell me that he already destroyed titan.

Xander: Thankfully, we caught him before he could. His money-laundering days are over. I told him this morning that I know he's been working for ava vitali.

Sarah: I thought you were going to wait to confront him until you smoothed things over at titan so that victor doesn't have another stroke.

Xander: That was the plan, but there's been a development.

Sarah: What?

Xander: Our intern, charlie dale, got arrested.

Nicole: Charlie dale is a rapist and a kidnapper. How the hell did he make bail?

Rafe: Well, charlie's attorney must have made the case that ava is an unreliable witness.

Nicole: Wow.

Allie: What? Charlie's out of jail?

Nicole: Oh, my gosh. This is unbelievably infuriating and wrong. Yes, apparently, honey, he is.

[Dramatic music]

Ava: Patch? Is that--is that really you?

Steve: In the flesh. It's okay.

Ava: I just had to make sure. Apparently, I've been... having some pretty intense hallucinations.

Steve: That's because charlie drugged you. But I'm really here. Question is, where is tripp?

Charlie: What the hell are you doing in my apartment?

Tripp: What are you doing here, charlie? I thought you were in jail.

Brady: I made bail. Oh, I get it. You thought it was locked up, so you thought you'd break in and plant evidence to frame me for what you did to allie?

Tripp: That's not why I'm here.

Charlie: Save it. You can tell your lame story to the cops.

Xander: I wouldn't do that if I were you.

[Soft orchestration]

Ava: You don't know where tripp is?

Steve: No, he just said he was gonna wait in here until you got back from your scan.

Ava: Okay, something must've happened, because there was nobody in here when the nurse brought me back.

Steve: He probably went down the hall to get a cup of coffee or something.

Ava: No, no, no, no. No, I bet that charlie got him. Yeah.

Steve: No. Shh.

Charlie: Are you threatening me, tripp?

Xander: I just don't think calling the cops is your best move right now.

Charlie: Right. Because you don't want to get arrested for breaking and entering.

Tripp: What I did nothing is nothing compared to what you did, charlie. To everything you've done.

Charlie: I didn't do anything.

Tripp: Yeah, you did, and I'm going to prove it.

Charlie: You are so damn cocky.

Tripp: Just admit it. You kidnapped our mother, and you held her here against her will.

Charlie: Our mother.

Tripp: What, you gonna deny that too? You're going to say or not ava's son?

Charlie: If anyone's denying I'm ava's son-- no, I'm not denying that.

Tripp: Then it's true. You are my half-brother, and you did terrorize our mom.

Charlie: I didn't terrorize anyone. I restrained her for her own good.

Tripp: Is that what you do to women charlie? You restrain them?

Charlie: You don't know ava. She is insane. She's always been insane. She showed up, confused, talking about knives and blood, and I was afraid she was gonna hurt herself, so I tied her up.

Tripp: Oh, that is bull. You drugged her, and that's why she was acting crazy.

Charlie: I have no idea what you're talking about.

Tripp: Stop lying. Kayla ran a test on her, and she found drugs in ava's system.

Charlie: Why would I drug my own mother?

Tripp: Because she knew.

Charlie: Knew what?

Tripp: That I wasn't the one who raped allie horton--that it was you.

Allie: What do you mean charlie is out on bail? He admitted to his mother that he's the one who raped me.

Rafe: Yeah, but the thing is, ava is not in great shape right now. She's disorientated, volatile, everything she says is unreliable.

Nicole: Because charlie drugged her--kayla has proof.

Rafe: No, proof that there were drugs in her system, not necessarily that charlie is responsible.

Nicole: Oh, come on, rafe. You know he did it.

Rafe: Okay, but you know that charlie's attorney painted a different picture. He probably said when he showed up at the hospital, she was agitated. She had to be tied down. She was seeing things that weren't there, saying things that didn't happen. I mean, she said that charlie stabbed tripp right in front of her.

Allie: Charlie did this. Charlie did all of this. He should not be out there walking around free.

Rafe: Okay, but at least the judge did not throw out the kidnapping charge. Okay? So while we build a case against charlie for what he did to ava, we work overtime on adding yours to what charlie did to you.

Philip: A lot of mob money disappeared when xander dissolved that company. They put a hit out on me.

Chloe: Well, I mean, this just happened. There's a good chance that they don't even know about yet.

[Phone rings]

Brady: Who's that?

Philip: Angelo vitali.

[Ringing] They know. You're strong.

Sarah: I read that charlie got arrested, but you always said that he was such a geek. What is he doing kidnapping a mafia princess?

Xander: Well, I assumed his boss, the other mr. Kiriakis, put him up to it, but, of course, philip denied it.

Sarah: Did he deny working for ava too?

Xander: Oh, he tried, but then I showed him the files you downloaded from his laptop.

Sarah: Oh, so he knows I'm in on it and that we were working together.

Xander: Oh, he knows. In fact, I gave you... tons of credit. You should've seen the look on that loser's face when I told him that our breakup was just an act and you were only pretending to be interested in him to get access to his computer.

Sarah: Ooh, he must have not been happy to find out I was playing him, but you know what, that's what you get for betraying your family. Oh, he has to be terrified of what his father is going to do when he finds out what he's done.

Xander: Believe it or not, philip's up against something much scarier than victor.

Philip: Angelo, no, I had nothing to do with that. Hello? Hello?

[Beep] The money's gone. They're gonna kill me. I have to get outta here.

Chloe: Where are you gonna go?

Philip: Home, I guess.

Chloe: You can't go home. That's the first place they're gonna look. Brady, can he stay here with you?

Brady: With my baby daughter here? No, that's not gonna happen.

Chloe: You're right. I'm sorry. Philip, you can stay in my room.

Brady: What? No. No. No way in hell.

Ava: We have to find tripp. We have to get to him before charlie hurts him, or worse.

Steve: Ava, you have to calm down.

Ava: No, no. My son needs me.

Steve: Whoa, whoa, whoa! No, no, back, back. Come on, you can't run out of here. You can't do that. Shh, it's okay.

Ava: I don't have to...

Steve: No.

Ava: Right? Right, right, right, right. Charlie...charlie was arrested. He's in jail. Okay, he can't hurt tripp. Patch, what is it?

Steve: [Clears throat]

Ava: Come on, I know when you're keeping something from me. What's wrong?

Steve: Charlie made bail.

Charlie: Allie remembers you in her apartment in london, not me.

Tripp: Yeah, I was there. And then after I left, you showed up, and you raped her. That's what you told ava, and ava told the police.

Charlie: Yeah, she did. She also told the police that I killed you and steve buried your body.

Tripp: Now I know our mom was telling the truth, and so do you. I mean, that's what this is all about, right, charlie? You want to keep ava from talking, or at least make sure, if she did talk, no one would believe her?

Charlie: Yeah. Your little story doesn't make any sense. I didn't meet allie until christmas. Why the hell would I be in her apartment in london a year ago?

Tripp: Maybe were following me.

Charlie: Okay, yeah, awesome. Cool, so now I'm a stalker too?

Tripp: I don't know what you are, charlie.

Charlie: I tell you what I'm not. I'm not obsessed with you. That would be our mother. Ava freaking worships you. Her perfect little golden boy.

Allie: Why even bother building a case against charlie? Cops in london didn't charge tripp, so why would they charge his brother?

Nicole: Oh, honey, you don't know that.

Rafe: Yeah, I'll talk to the da. I'll see if we can get a court order for a dna sample on charlie.

Nicole: And if it matches henry, it proves that charlie is a rapist.

Rafe: Well, it proves that charlie is henry's father. Not necessarily that he attacked allie.

Allie: So you're saying he's gonna get away with it?

Rafe: No, no, no, no. That is not what I'm saying. Not at all. All I'm saying is that we need conclusive evidence.

Nicole: What, like a witness? We don't have that.

Rafe: But we have allie. We have allie. And if you can somehow remember charlie attacking you that night in london and testify to that, well, maybe we have a chance in nailing this creep to the wall.

Allie: Trust me, ever since I found out charlie was the one who attacked me, I have been trying so hard to remember something-- a sound, an image-- anything can connect him to that night, but, so far, I'm drawing a blank.

Nicole: But you did say charlie seemed familiar to you.

Allie: Yeah, definitely, but I don't have any memories of seeing him in london. And, if I ever did, they're gone.

Rafe: Maybe there's a way to get it back.

Ava: Charlie made bail? Then maybe he did come back here. Probably to finish me off, but he found tripp instead.

Steve: I'm sure tripp is fine.

Ava: He hates tripp. He probably came in here, knocked him out and dragged him out so that he can--

Steve: Whoa, whoa, whoa--

Ava: No, no, no, no. My son needs me to save him!

Steve: Ava, no, no. Calm down. Come on, let me help you. Calm down. It's okay. Come on.

Tripp: Golden boy? Where did you hear that? I didn't even know ava growing up.

Charlie: But you were her son with her one true love.

Tripp: So?

Charlie: So... you are everything to her.

[Dramatic chords] Do you know how many times I had to hear about how devastated she was when she was forced to give you up? How it destroyed her? How it created a hole in her heart that she could never fill? And I'm sitting right there, and it's like I didn't even exist. My mother could not have cared less about me because my father wasn't steve johnson.

Tripp: Who was your dad?

Charlie: He worked for our grandfather.

Tripp: Martino. Yeah, I heard you did a real number on ava. He's the one who took me away from her and sold me on the black market.

Charlie: Ava was really messed up after that. She wouldn't eat. She wouldn't speak. She wouldn't get out of bed for months. I guess gramps felt guilty, so he wanted to bring her out of it, and he recruited my dad.

Tripp: To do what?

Charlie: I don't know. Be her boyfriend, I guess. Obviously it went somewhere, 'cause I'm here, but she didn't love him. She certainly didn't love me. That's why I had to live with my dad. I was a baby--her baby-- and she just walked away.

Tripp: You said she was really messed up. Maybe she couldn't take care of you.

Charlie: Right. Right 'cause her firstborn was ripped away, she couldn't possibly raise me or spend time with me.

Tripp: Did you ever see her?

Charlie: My dad would bring me over to visit once in a while, and I would get so excited. I would think, "this time, she'll see my face, and she'll smile. She'll give me a big hug. She'll call out my name." That didn't happen. Not once.

Tripp: Well, she was going through hard time.

Charlie: This isn't some phase. It's not something that she's gonna work through in therapy. The fact is I'm not steve's son. I will never be steve's son, so I will never mean anything to ava. To ava, I don't exist.

Tripp: Did you ever tell her how you feel?

Charlie: How I feel? How I feel, tripp? My entire life has been to get her to notice that I exist, that I'm here, and that I am hers. Just one time, if she would just say, "charlie, I'm proud of you, son." I've always wanted to be close to her, but when she looks at me, she doesn't see me. She doesn't see anything because I'm not you. You're the son that she wanted. The only son she ever loved.

Xander: Like I was saying, my plan was to undo the damage philip did and then tell him that the jig was up and, after that, explain everything to victor.

Sarah: You thought that philip was behind ava's kidnapping, so you confronted him earlier.

Xander: I did something else as well.

Sarah: Something that would scare philip more than victor finding out what he's done?

Xander: I dissolved the shell company philip was using to launder the money for the mob. When I told philip, he freaked. He was afraid that when the mob find out he reneged on their deal that they'll kill him.

Sarah: Could that really happen?

Xander: It's possible. What are you doing?

Sarah: I'm gonna call the police--I'm not gonna tell my mom that we got her stepson killed.

Chloe: Why can't philip hide out in my room?

Brady: Chloe, chloe, because the mob could show up and kill you.

Chloe: Do you have a better idea?

Brady: No, no, but I'll think of one, okay?

Chloe: Okay, so, while you're working on it, philip will stay in my room.

Brady: No, you don't understand--that's not happening.

Chloe: Excuse me, you don't have any control over my life.

Philip: Brady thinks he does. Isn't that why you told me to stay away from chloe?

Chloe: When was this?

Philip: The other night in the square. You had that phone call from your mom.

Chloe: Brady black, you have a hell of a nerve. Do we really need a sign to live, laugh, and love?

Chloe: You told philip to stay away from me?

Brady: What I said to philip was that while he was in the crosshairs of a notorious crime family, it was probably a good idea to keep his distance from you so you don't become collateral damage.

Chloe: That is not your call to make. Oh, my god, this is just like when I was with stefan dimera, and you cooked up that little scheme with gabi to mess with our relationship.

Brady: Chloe, I was just trying to protect you. That's exactly what I'm trying to now. That's it.

Chloe: I don't need you to do that. I need you to trust that I can take care of myself.

Philip: She said she can take care of yourself.

Brady: Philip, stay out of this. Listen. How did that situation with stefan end up anyway? He ended up cheating on you with gabi, right?

Chloe: Who cares? That's ancient history.

Brady: I know it is, but the point is the guy hurt you and the situation that he put you in was very dangerous, just like the situation that he's putting you in now.

Chloe: Philip is my friend, and if I want to help protect him, I can. You don't get a say in this, brady. I'm not your wife anymore. Now look, I know you have this compulsion about rescuing women and saving them from themselves, but I don't need you to save me or protect me or make decisions for me! So, for all our sakes, can you just please back off?

Xander: Philip's a traitor. Why should we help him?

Sarah: I don't agree with what philip did either, but that doesn't mean that we can let the mob murder him.

Xander: Can't we let them rough them up a little?

Sarah: That is not funny, xander. Victor already lost bo and ciara. If he loses philip too, it will kill him. And what will that do to my mom?

Xander: You know I never want to hurt maggie, but if philip was out of the way, victor would make me sole ceo of titan.

Sarah: I'm gonna pretend that I didn't hear you say that. Now, give me the damn phone so that I can call rafe.

Tripp: There's a way to get my memories back?

Rafe: Hypnosis.

Allie: Does that actually work?

Rafe: Well, there's no guarantees, but we have had success in cases like this before.

Nicole: And your grandmother marlena is an expert.

Allie: Well, I did talk to her about charlie in therapy yesterday.

Nicole: Okay, but look, there's no pressure. It was just a suggestion. Right, rafe?

Rafe: Yeah, of course. We're gonna continue on with the investigation. In the meantime, just... think about it.

Allie: Okay, well, I really need to get home to henry, so...

Rafe: Yeah, of course. Before you go, there's something I need to talk to you about. About charlie.

Steve: You need to try to relax, ava.

Ava: I need to know that our son is okay.

Steve: I promise you, tripp is okay. There's no way charlie could have dragged him out of here. The whole place is practically on lockdown. 'Cause of the kidnapping.

Ava: What kidnapping?

Steve: You know, abe's daughter, lani, her newborn twins were taken from the nursery.

Ava: Oh, my god. That is horrible.

Steve: It is. My point is hospital security is on high alert. They're watching everything.

Ava: Okay, so then where the hell is tripp?

Tripp: I'm sorry that our mother was so awful to you.

Charlie: Just don't--

Tripp: No, I-I mean it, I-- I know a little something about being neglected as a kid. My adopted mom died when I was little, and my adoptive dad used me as his personal punching bag. And when I got to where I couldn't take it anymore, I ran away to look for my biological parents. It turns out, steve was looking for me too. Him and kayla found me in arizona.

Charlie: 'Cause they wanted you. Ava just wanted me to disappear.

Tripp: She hurt you. I get that. But that didn't give you the right to hurt allie.

Charlie: There is not a shred of evidence that I was anywhere near allie in london.

Tripp: You were near our mother. And you hurt her too.

Charlie: I told you, ava is nuts. Nothing that she's saying is true--why do you think I'm out on bail?

Tripp: Your lawyer bought you some time, but it's gonna run out, charlie. The best thing you can do now is confess.

Charlie: [Scoffs] You'd love that, wouldn't you?

Tripp: No, I don't like any of this, actually. But I do know that child abuse and neglect is real, and it can make you do violent things--things that you'll regret for the rest of your life. But if you tell the cops what you just told me... maybe they'll cut you a break.

Brady: Chloe, look. Just because we're not married anymore doesn't mean I'm just going to stop caring about you. And I'm gonna react pretty strongly when I think that your life may potentially be in danger.

Philip: I care about her too, dam it!

Brady: Then prove it, philip. You got a target on your back, right? You want to put a target on hers too?

Philip: Of course not.

Brady: Right. So tell her that you're gonna find another place to hide.

Allie: What do you need to tell me about charlie?

Rafe: Just that, if you were thinking about going to see him, don'T.

Allie: Charlie is the last person I would want to see. Why would you even say that?

Rafe: Well, because sean told me that you snuck into the interrogation room last night where I was holding charlie.

Nicole: Okay, allie knows that was wrong.

Allie: Yes, but I'm sorry. I had to. I had to confront him about what he did to me, and I just wanted him to admit it.

Nicole: He denied everything, of course.

Allie: Yeah, I even told him that henry could be his son. I asked if that mattered to him at all.

Rafe: What did he say?

Allie: Nothing, because before he could answer, claire barged in and wanted to talk to him alone. Which I told her--I said that was not a good idea, but she insisted.

Rafe: Right, right, listen. I understand, though, allie. I understand why you needed to confront charlie, but he is out now. Okay? And last night, there were cops here, so they were here to protect you. But now that he's out there, after everything that he has done to ava, he feels threatened. He feels cornered. There is no telling what he'll do.

Charlie: I don't think the cops will care about my sob story. And there's no reason to tell it, because I didn't do anything wrong.

Tripp: Yeah, you keep saying that, man, but rafe's a smart guy. He will gather the evidence the da needs to convict you, and you will go to prison for a very, very long time. The best thing for you right now is to confess, and it will be a lot better for you in the long run.

Charlie: Like you care what happens to me.

Tripp: Look, I know ava rejected you, but I won't, okay? No matter what you've done, you're my family, and I want to help you. I'll walk with you over to the station right now. We'll talk to rafe together. What do you say?

[Phone rings] That's my dad.

Charlie: [Sighs] I guess you better get it then.

Tripp: What's up?

Steve: Where are you?

Tripp: You sound worried.

Steve: I am. So is your mother. You told me you were gonna wait in her hospital room, but you disappeared.

Tripp: Tell mom I'm sorry, but I'll see you both soon. Goodbye.

[Beep]

Charlie: Oh, were mommy and daddy scared? Worried about you?

Tripp: Everything's fine, okay? We can head down to the station--

Charlie: You know what, just forget it. Just get outta here. What are you--go run to mama.

Tripp: What happened, man? I thought--

Charlie: You thought what? We were--we were bonding? 'Cause we're family? You're not my family, tripp. What kind of name is tripp anyway?

Tripp: Look, I'm sorry our mom hurt you and then you had such a screwed-up childhood, but if you don't confess, I will find another way to clear my name, and you will have to answer to what you did to allie and our mom.

Charlie: We'll see about that, big brother.

Tripp: You're damn right we will.

The flu can hit you hard

Brady: What's--what's the hold up here? Tell her that you're gonna find someplace else to lie low. I mean, if you don't care that she's going to be taken out by the mob, then don't bother.

Philip: Say that one more time--I dare you.

Brady: If you cared, philip, you wouldn't have asked her to take you in in the first place.

Chloe: He didn't ask. I offered.

Philip: Thank you. I truly appreciate that. After careful consideration... I gratefully accept.

Xander: But if you tell the police that philip's in danger, they're gonna want to know why. And when you tell them, he'll be arrested. Are you sure you want to put victor and maggie through that?

Sarah: Nice try. Give me my damn phone.

[Beep]

[Line ringing] Rafe, hi. It's dr. Sarah horton.

Rafe: Hey, what's up?

Sarah: Xander and I are down on the titan office, and we have a police matter we would like to discuss with you. Is there any way that you could come down?

Rafe: Right now?

Sarah: I mean, it's important.

Rafe: I'm on my way.

[Beep]

Nicole: Everything okay?

Rafe: Yes. Just a little something I have to deal with. You, remember what I said.

Allie: I will. Don't worry. I will not go see charlie.

Rafe: Okay, good.

Allie: And I'll think about the hypnosis thing.

Rafe: Yeah, well, like we said--no pressure.

Allie: I know, but if it really could help me remember everything from that night, I think it'll be worth it to make charlie pay for what he did.

Allie: Maybe this whole time I thought tripp attacked me because he reminded me of you because you're brothers. And if you're brothers, then that would explain why his dna matches with my baby'S.

Charlie: No. No, it doesn'T.

Allie: Yes, because he's the uncle and you're henry's father.

Charlie: I'm nobody's father!

Allie: Look, I know it's the last thing you wanted. Trust me, it was the last thing I wanted too. But because of what happened that night, I gave birth to a little boy, a beautiful baby boy, your little boy. Charlie, henry's your son. You have a son. Does that not matter to you at all?

Charlie: I don't think the cops will care about my sob story, and there's no reason to tell them, because I didn't do anything wrong.

Ava: Handle what? Wait. Wait, w-w-what was your phone doing in charlie's apartment in the first place?

Tripp: I was just looking for proof that charlie is the one who assaulted allie.

Ava: He already admitted it to me. It's true. You guys, that was not a hallucination.

Steve: Okay.

Tripp: But charlie's denying it now. He's claiming he was never in london.

Ava: Yes, he was. He definitely was.

Steve: How do you know he was in london?

Ava: Because I'm the one who sent him there.

Steve: Why would you send charlie to london?

Ava: So I could learn about our son. After rolf brought me back, all I could think about was you. I wanted to know everything I could about you, but I had no idea where you were.

Tripp: You asked charlie to track me down?

Ava: He kept asking to work for me. He was desperate to impress me, and I was desperate for information. So I asked him to locate you and report back to me.

Steve: From england?

Ava: Well, first he went to california when you were in medical school. He, um... he overheard you planning a trip to london for the holidays and so I sent them there. He was not happy with the assignment. He thought it was humiliating.

Steve: Did he actually say that?

Ava: Yeah. Right before he admitted to me that he raped allie, and then he begged me to keep my mouth shut.

Steve: Why didn't you tell us this before?

Ava: I don't know, I'M... I'm sorry. I've been confused and I don't--I'm sorry.

Steve: It's okay, it's okay. What's important now is we know that charlie was in london specifically to follow tripp.

Tripp: That's opportunity, and we also know that he hates me, so that's motive.

Steve: That's right.

Ava: I-I-I need to tell-- I need to call--

Steve: No, no, no, just take it easy. You need to relax. I'll take care of this.

Charlie: Hey, hey, claire. It's charlie. Your boyfriend. Um... I was really hoping you'd pick up. I'm out on bail, and, uh... I would really like to see you, so please call me back. Please.

[Beep]

Nicole: The best way to conk him out, right? Put him in the stroller and go for a walk.

Allie: He still asleep.

Nicole: Yeah.

Allie: He looks so peaceful when he sleeps. I hope that never changes.

Nicole: Why would it?

Allie: I love my son so much. When I think about having to tell him how he was conceived, what that will do to him, to us--

Nicole: Honey, if--if or when that should happen, just know that the people that love you and henry will be there to support you and to remind you, honey, that what happened was not your fault and it does not define who either of you are.

Allie: I just... how would I even tell him that? How--I mean, what words do you use to explain it?

Nicole: Well, I think you should talk to your grandma marlena about that. She could give you some excellent advice.

Allie: Yeah. Going to therapy with her has been really helpful. Do you-- do you think hypnosis would be too? I mean, do you think it could really help me remember everything about that night in london?

Nicole: She helped ben remember that he didn't murder ciara.

Allie: True. I just don't know if I could relive the night.

Chloe: He did not come to me for help. I offered, remember? I'm the one who overheard him on the phone talking about money laundering. When I questioned him about it, he tried everything to get me to back off.

Brady: Chloe, don't--don't-- don't do it. Don't let him stay with you, please.

Philip: Didn't she tell you to butt out of her life? And not that it's any of your concern, but I'm perfectly capable of protecting chloe should anything happen. So how about you worry about your own screwed-up life, huh?

Chloe: Uh--

Brady: No.

Chloe: Come on, philip. Let's get you settled in.

Sarah: Thank you for getting here so fast, rafe.

Rafe: No problem. So, what did you want to discuss?

Sarah: Philip kiriakis needs police protection.

Rafe: Ah, why?

Rafe: Uh-huh. Okay. Well, unfortunately, without further information, there's really not much I can do.

Sarah: Really?

Xander: Darling, he said he can't help us.

Xander: Well, why don't you have philip get in touch with me himself?

Xander: Oh, we'll be sure to do that. Thanks for coming. I guess we're done here.

Rafe: Actually, we're not. You see, I got a call on the way down here...

Xander: And?

Rafe: And I need to take you down to the station for questioning about a kidnapping.
