Gabi: I wish that I would've been stronger, yeah, that I would've been... a better person. But I just--I couldn't stop thinking about how much I wanted stefan and abigail to hurt like I hurt.

Jj: Didn't you have any remorse?

Gabi: Every second of every day. But the pain that I felt was stronger. Being reminded of being in prison, of nearly being killed, the losses that I suffered.

Ciara: What kind of deal did you make with ben?

Ben: I understand your reservations about having me, given my history. But I tell you what, chad. You give me a trial, I will prove to you just how valuable I am as an asset. I'll be the most loyal employee you've ever had. I'll do the most menial jobs-- no questions asked.

Chad: How would that look?

Ben: To whom?

Chad: Abigail, for starters. I've been working like hell to make things work with her. Got a long road ahead of us. Things aren't great. How do you think she would feel when she sees that I've hired the guy who tortured and tried to kill both of us?

Ben: I'm just not the same man anymore.

Chad: She's smart. She's talented, beautiful. And she has a bright future ahead of her.

Ben: And what, you think I'm gonna screw that up?

Xander: Well, for starters, how'd you pull off this whole sonny marriage? How did you go from accuser to real househusband of salem overnight?

This old mausoleum is-- is no home without abigail and my kids in it. So... I'm gonna do everything I have to to fix that. And I'm not gonna give up until I do.

[Dramatic music]

Claire: Okay, I think you-- I think you misunderstood what I was saying.

Ciara: I know what I heard. You and ben made some kind of deal about me?

Claire: Look, I-I was encouraging him not to break up with you, ciara.
