Xander: And when they do, they're going to realize they made a very big mistake when they wrote me off. No. They should be impressed with everything I pulled off.

Nicole: Except for the fact that you shot Brady. Yeah, Deimos isn't his biggest fan, but...Victor loves Brady very much. So you better hope that he doesn't track you down, because you will be a dead man! Oh... oh, Brady. I hope you're okay. I'm gonna get outta here. I'm gonna take holly with me. I don't know how, but I'm just gonna do it. Please... please be waiting for me. Come on, Nicole, you've been in worse situations than this, and you've...figured it out.

Chad: So I flew halfway around the world to meet this guy who's delivering an amulet, and he's late? No, no. No. I'll--I'll--yes, I'll wait. No, seriously, what, you know, no, what more important things do I have to do?

[Beep]

Hope: Is this seat taken?

[Edgy music]

Victor: What do you mean, my grandson is continuing to deteriorate? How? I want specifics, damn it! Well, you tell dr. Evans to call me. I wanna know what the hell's going on!

[Beep]

[Phone clatters]

Claire: Sounds like you're not in a great mood.

Victor: Claire.

Claire: I-I knew I should have called first, but...

Victor: No, that's all right. Come on in--you seem upset.

Claire: I am! I am upset. I'm super upset. Um...and I didn't know where else to turn, you know... hi. It's not like I can ask my parents.

Victor: Ask them what?

Claire: I mean, I guess I should just be straight, right? I mean, really, I hate coming to you, I do. But you're such a generous person, and I know that you understand me, so... [Shaky laugh]

Victor: What is it you need?

Claire: I need money... to launch my music career. The music executive that I met with, he said that, um, I'm talented but I need to up my game. That means voice lessons, trainers, coaches. But all of that stuff, it's... really expensive, you know?

Victor: And how much are we talking?

Claire: I'm not--I'm not sure exactly--do you need it? Do you need an exact amount?

Victor: [Chuckles] I'm not in the habit of writing black checks.

Claire: Okay, well, uh...you give Ciara money. In fact, you give Ciara money all the time, so...

Victor: Oh, god.

Claire: Why not me? Okay, you know, don't even bother to answer that question 'cause I know exactly why. It's because she's your favorite, isn't she?

Ciara: Oh, uh, I gotta get this. Just take what you need.

[Phone beeps]

Nicole: Eric... what are you doing here? Why are you...wearing that? How the hell did you find me?

Eric: Listen, I'll answer your questions later, but right now, we need to go.

Nicole: What? I'm not going anywhere with you.

Eric: Listen, I know you hate me, but right now, I need to get you outta here because Brady asked me to, and I'm not going anywhere without you.

[Intense musical buildup]

[Soft rock in background]

Theo: What do you think you're doing?

Wyatt: Dude--[Laughs] Don't sneak up on me like that.

Theo: Why are you stealing money from Ciara?

Wyatt: Chill. You're totally off-base here.

Theo: No, I'm totally on to you, and I've had it!

Ciara: Theo, why are you yelling at Wyatt? Theo, I told him to take the money.

Theo: Why? Why would you do that?

Ciara: Hey, babe, just... go run your errands. Let me just talk to Theo.

Wyatt: Look, if you're not cool about the money, it's really not--

Ciara: No. It's--it's okay. I'm totally fine with it. Why are you so angry?

Theo: Giving Wyatt money is not okay, Ciara.

Chad: Hope, you are outta line following me here.

Hope: Who said I was following you? Maybe I'm on vacation. Maybe I'm sightseeing.

Chad: Hope, I told you I was coming to Greece for a business trip--I was telling you the truth. Now you and Abby, you need to stay out--

Hope: Abigail has no idea that I'm here...but she's just as worried as I am.

Chad: Abby's not losing sleep over me or my business.

Hope: This trip is a very bad idea.

André: I couldn't agree with you more.

[Chad laughs]

Nicole: Okay... why would Brady send you of all people?

Eric: Because he couldn't come himself.

Nicole: What? Why? Is he still in the hospital?

Eric: Sonny and Paul found him in Canada. He was in bad shape--they had to airlift him to Salem. He suffered a collapsed lung after Xander shot him.

Nicole: Thank god they found him.

Eric: Listen, because of the trauma, his body started to reject Daniel's heart.

Nicole: I gotta get out of here...and even if it's with your help, I have no choice.

Eric: Nicole, you need to grab your baby, and let's go!

Nicole: Xander gave the baby to the nanny. I-I don't even know where they are, but I'm not leaving here without holly.

[Tense music]

[Lightly edgy music]

Victor: Let's get something straight, young lady. I do not play favorites with Ciara or anyone else.

Claire: Okay, well, you say that, but I don't think it's--

Victor: Because it's true. Anytime you've ever come to me for money, pocket change, I've always given it to you. But a huge lump sum? That would be irresponsible of me. I don't give money to any of my heirs until they're old enough to handle it responsibly.

Claire: Okay, well...how old is "old enough"?

Victor: 21. And not a day less. The money that I gave to Ciara is in a trust, and of course I'll do the same thing for you.

Claire: Well, I mean, a lot of good it'll do if I can't use it now.

Victor: Oh, I think that you'll be glad that it's there once you get to be of legal age. But there's another issue that we need to discuss... before it gets totally out of hand.

Claire: I'm not giving up my singing career.

Victor: This has nothing to do with your career. Has to do with your jealousy of Ciara.

Claire: What?! [Scoffs] I'm so not jealous!

Victor: My dear, you are so jealous, you can't even see straight.

Ciara: What is your problem with Wyatt anyway?

Theo: He's using you!

Ciara: No, he is not! Look, Theo, I appreciate you worrying about me, but Wyatt is a great guy. He likes me...a lot.

Theo: No, he likes your money--a lot.

Ciara: Stop saying that about my boyfriend!

Theo: Your what?!

Ciara: We decided to be exclusive.

Theo: What?!

Ciara: It's official.

Theo: Why didn't you tell me?

Ciara: It just happened.

Theo: [Laughs]

Ciara: Theo...I thought you would be happy for me.

Theo: Yeah, happy that you're hitting the ATM for your boyfriend?

Ciara: [Scoffs] Wow. Low blow, Theo. Really low.

[Soft music]

Theo: That's her.

Wyatt: "Ciara"? Kinda name is that?

Theo: [Laughs] I don't know.

Wyatt: She's really hot. Can you fix it so I can meet her?

Theo: I would but, you know, things between us are kind of weird right now.

Wyatt: Why?

Theo: Well, there's this whole awkward situation between me, her, and my girlfriend. I can't really talk about it.

Wyatt: Well, what if I, like...meet her online? I don't have to say anything about knowing you.

Theo: Yeah, that could work.

Wyatt: I don't know. [Laughs] So she reads Jane Austen. [Laughs] I play computer games.

Theo: Okay, just don't tell her that, then.

Wyatt: Maybe you could sorta coach me...and make her like me.

Theo: Okay--okay, if--if I do it...you know, you just-- you just--you gotta treat her right...okay? 'Cause she's my oldest friend and I just--I really want her to be happy like I am.

André: I wish I could say it was a pleasant surprise to see you, hope... but I am surprised to see you and Chad together.

Chad: No, we're not together.

Hope: I wasn't expecting me either.

Chad: I wasn't expecting either one of you. Aren't you supposed to be in-- in south America discovering yourself?

André: And I did. It was wonderful. But there's only so much adventure a man can experience before boredom begins to set in.

Chad: Well, Greece isn't exactly on your way home from Machu Picchu.

André: Yes, I know, but when I heard that you were on your way here, I couldn't resist dropping in.

Chad: So thoughtful.

André: Ah, well, at least one of us is taking time to think... whereas you are jumping headfirst into something that you have no idea what the consequences will be.

Chad: You don't know what you're talking about.

André: On the contrary. Because of your talky butler, I know exactly why you're here.

Chad: Harold?

André: Yes. I mean, you sure you wanna discuss this in mixed company? You do know that hope has been reinstated as an officer of the law...despite her attempt to murder our father.

Hope: I would very much... like to hear what you have to say. I assume that's all right? Unless you are hiding something.

[Tense music]

Eric: You sure that the nanny is with holly?

Nicole: That's what I was told. But what if the nanny took holly and they're never coming back, and what if I never see...

[Thud]

Nicole: My baby again, Eric?

Eric: Someone's coming. If the guards see me, they're gonna know I'm not with them.

[Tense music]

[Baby cries]

[Heels clacking on walkway]

Nanny: Shh.

[Baby continues fussing]

[Both speaking Greek]

[Holly fussing]

Nicole: Oh, my goodness. Okay, give me my baby. Oh, sweetheart, hi! I know! It's okay, honey. It's okay. I was afraid I wasn't gonna see you again. It's okay, mama's here, mama's here. I didn't know you spoke Greek.

Eric: Everyone who graduates the seminary has to speak a little Greek and Latin.

Nicole: Well, I'm grateful for the seminary, because I don't know how we would have gotten her away from--

Eric: Listen, no more talk. We need to get outta here.

Nicole: No, you go. We'll leave on our own.

Eric: What? What do you mean?

Nicole: You've helped us enough, okay? And after what you did to this precious little girl's daddy, we're not going anywhere with you.

[Dramatic musical flourish]

Victor: You know what I don't understand is anyone who is as smart and talented and beautiful as you can be jealous.

Claire: I'm not jealous!

Victor: You know, you have many special qualities that make you very unique, just like Ciara does. In fact, you remind me a great deal of myself.

Claire: Never knew you thought that.

Victor: Doesn't mean that I love Ciara any less. But you have a...a directness, a drive that will take you far, whereas Ciara--

Claire: Oh, oh, she doesn't need an edge, because she's already perfect. You know, on top of being drop-dead gorgeous and a total brain trust, she's like this really amazing person who cares about everyone. And other people, they see how amazing she is, and they can't stop being in total awe of her. You know, people think I'm fun to hang out with and everything, but...[Laughs] No, I'll never live up to saint Ciara!

Ciara: Henderson told me to come in. Claire, I...didn't know you were here. I can wait if you want.

Claire: Oh, no, no, no, don't bother, don't bother, go ahead. I'm sure that what you have to say is way more important.

Victor: Claire.

Ciara: Uh...'kay. So...I've been following the investments that my trust fund covers, and I found this amazing opportunity.

Victor: I'm listening.

Ciara: It's a water filtering process that doesn't exist in the poorer regions of central and south America. But if we can find a way to market it globally, then we'll have a huge return on the investment... and millions of people will have clean drinking water.

Victor: And what is it you want me to do?

Ciara: Maybe just talk to your financial people... see if you can get my trust fund altered so I can invest in it.

Claire: Oh, god, do you see what I mean?

[Door slams]

[Soft music]

André: Now, you may find this hard to believe... but I have absolutely nothing to hide.

[Light music]

Hope: For some reason, I believe you.

Chad: So you're gonna believe him but not me?

Hope: For once, yes.

André: You know, I suspect that you and I are here for the same reason--to make sure Chad doesn't make some terrible mistake. So I'm offering a short-term truce.

[Light music]

Hope: Agreed. Agreed.

Chad: Well, I don't need either one of you to help me from anything.

André: On the contrary. When Harold... informed me of your abrupt decision to come here...and the reason why none of the staff were willing to accompany you, I decided it was necessary for me to come here as your big brother to alert you of the danger involved should you decide to go through with this mission.

Chad: This is ridiculous!

Hope: Wait a second. I don't know the specifics. Fill me in here.

Chad: You don't need to know anything--that's none of your business.

André: Chad...you're playing with danger! Just let this transaction go. Come back with us to Salem... before something horrible happens.

Eric: For Brady's sake and your baby's...you need to put a pin in your anger, and we need to leave before Xander even comes.

[Door opens]

Xander: Hey, there. Hey...how'd you get the baby back?

[Tense music]

I told her to keep the baby away from you.

Nicole: Well, um...holly was crying nonstop, and she didn't know how to comfort her, so she brought her to me.

Xander: And where is she now? I'm gonna fire her.

Nicole: No, she-- she's in the kitchen preparing her bottle, and now that holly's calmed down, I'll go bring her back to the--

Xander: No, no, no, you're not going anywhere.

[Speaking Greek] Take the baby to the nanny.

[Tense music]

Ciara: Claire can't be jealous of me. If anything, I'm jealous of her!

Victor: Oh, here we go again.

Ciara: I mean, not is she just totally stunning, but she's one of the funniest and most talented girls I know. And she's with Theo, the greatest guy in the world that's totally in love with her.

Victor: All right, you are both extraordinary young women. Now, can we just forget about this insanity?

[Ciara chuckles]

Victor: Jealousy is a complete and utter waste of time!

Ciara: Easy for you to say, when you're Victor Kiriakis.

No, it's easy to say because I'm old. And I learned a long time ago to covet what you don't have is pointless and destructive.

[Soft music]

Ciara: Well...yeah. I know that, it's just, it-- it seems like there are exceptions.

Victor: There aren't.

Ciara: Well, it's nice to be reminded.

Victor: Good. I'm glad you're open and willing to listen.

Ciara: [Chuckles] Well, it is a lot easier not to be jealous now that I have my own awesome boyfriend.

Victor: Oh? I didn't know that.

Ciara: Mm-hmm.

Victor: And who is this lucky young man?

Ciara: His name's Wyatt.

Victor: Just Wyatt? No last name?

Ciara: If I tell you his last name, you're gonna have your private eyes checking him out.

Victor: And that would be a bad thing...?

Ciara: [Laughs] You'll meet him. I just--I want him to be more comfortable around me so he's not intimidated by you.

Victor: Well, a little bit of intimidation is a good thing.

Ciara: Still...I just-- I wanna be more solid in our relationship. Like Claire and Theo.

Theo: Claire!

Claire: Oh, my god! Ah! Thank god I ran into you.

Theo: Yeah, literally.

Claire: I'm literally having the worst day ever.

Theo: Yeah, you and me both.

Claire: You? Why?

Theo: I'm just bummed.

Claire: Bummed? About what?

Theo: Ciara and Wyatt.

Theo: No. He's into her for her money. And he took money right out of her purse.

Claire: Well, did you tell Ciara?

Theo: Yeah, she already knew. She said he was just borrowing it, but I don't believe them. You know, now they're official, and I don't even know what I could do...

Claire: Well, why do you-- why do you have to do anything about it? Wyatt's into Ciara and she's into him. Why can't you just be happy for them?

Theo: I mean, I was at first--

Claire: And now you're practically obsessed, you know, which is only making my bad day like a thousand times worse.

Theo: Claire, Claire, this isn't about you.

Claire: Right, right, sorry. It's about Ciara, as always.

Theo: Why are you so angry every time you say her name?

Claire: Because I'm just fed up with hearing about her!

Theo: So you just wanna hear about you?

Claire: You're being really mean, Theo.

Theo: No, I'm trying to understand.

Claire: Uh, how would you feel if I acted insanely jealous of somebody else.

Theo: I'm not jealous!

Claire: Okay, then why do you care so much?

Theo: I...don't-- I don't know how to explain it.

[Somber music]

Chad: You're making a big deal out of nothing.

André: On the contrary... I'm deadly serious. And the fact that I'm speaking about this in front of her should be proof enough.

Hope: While you're speaking of it...can you tell me what "it" is?

Chad: No, don't--he doesn't have to tell you anything.

André: Gladly. Chad flew all the way to Greece hoping to acquire this expensive, ancient amulet.

Chad: Okay, so you you're really doing it.

Hope: Go on.

André: They say that the subject carries a curse with it and whoever comes in contact with it will suffer a horrible fate.

Chad: Hearsay.

Hope: Do you have evidence to back that up?

Chad: Just some old wives' tales.

André: When this amulet was uncovered years ago... Stefano wanted to acquire it. He sent his man to England to bring it back, only this man became paralyzed because of a boating accident.

[Edgy music]

Now he's...spending the rest of his life in a wheelchair. And because of that alone, Stefano canceled the transaction.

Chad: Wait, what do you mean Stefano?

André: Ah! Now that you know, he has to be arrested, because it's stolen property--cuff him!

Hope: That would be my call, wouldn't it?

[Chad laughs]

Hope: Not that I wouldn't stop laughing.

Chad: I haven't done anything wrong.

André: Ah...not yet. But once you have that amulet in your hands, it's gonna be stolen property, and she has an obligation, as an officer of the law, to make--what is that expression? Oh! Make a collar.

Hope: [Laughs] You're familiar with that. He actually has a very good point.

André: Check and mate, little brother.

Chad: Again, I haven't done anything wrong.

André: Mm-hmm. I'm making sure you don't. But in the end, when all this is said and done, you're gonna thank me. You'll be in jail... [Laughs] But you'll be alive.

Chad: This is ridiculous.

André: Well... it's for the best, Chad. Don't you think...dear?

[Dramatic musical buildup]

Theo: I'm sorry.

Wyatt: Did I miss something?

Theo: It was wrong for me to accuse you of stealing.

Wyatt: Don't sweat it.

Theo: I'm not sweating. But you are borrowing, and I don't like it.

Wyatt: Dude... you're the one that set this whole ball in motion. Besides, borrowing and loaning money is what girlfriends and boyfriends do. Ciara told you we're solid, right?

Theo: She did.

Wyatt: Besides, it's not like she's strapped for cash, man. I mean, come on, she's like an heiress. I mean, she's loaded.

Theo: I didn't tell you that. How'd you find that out, Wyatt?

Ciara: Oh, don't tell me you guys are at it again.

Chad: I haven't done anything to warrant an arrest.

Hope: That remains to be seen.

Chad: Even if I did, you don't have the jurisdiction to do it here.

André: Doesn't mean she can't haul you off to the local police station for questioning. Did you bring handcuffs?

Hope: No, no, no--Chad's right--I can't do anything. I mean, I can't do anything until he officially breaks the law.

Chad: So why don't you both just cut your losses and hop on that next flight out of here?

Hope: No. I'm not leaving... till I know exactly what's happening here.

André: That makes two of us.

Chad: Well, you're wasting your time.

Hope: No. I don't want you doing something you'll regret.

André: You've gotta do something to stop him!

Hope: I told you, I can't do anything until he breaks the law.

André: Well, get a court order. Call in for a favor or handcuff him to the table if you must.

Hope: What are you talking-- I'm really beginning to think here that you're trying to get me riled up so I cross the line and get thrown off the force again--is that what you're trying to do?

André: If committing murder didn't put you out of commission, nothing else will.

Hope: You call this a truce? This isn't a truce.

André: All I'm asking you to do...is to keep tabs on my brother so that when he meets up with this antique dealer, you can nail him. Oh! What-- excuse me!

[Woman yelling in Greek]

André:  What did--

Hope: Hold on, hold on, hold on a second!

André: Wait, what are you saying?

Hope: Hold on...a second.

You his wife?

Hope: Bite your tongue.

[André snickers]

Hope: Of course, you would think that's funny. I'm an officer of the law.

[Speaking Greek] Arrest him!

Hope: I would love to.

[Woman yelling in Greek]

Roy: I was beginning to think you were never coming back.

Eric: I almost didn't.

[Holly fussing]

Eric: You sit tight, sweet little girl.

Roy: Where's the mother?

Eric: I have to go back and rescue her. Did you get the formula and diapers?

Roy: Yeah. It's all in the back.

Eric: You think you can handle this little one until I get back with her mother?

Roy: Not to worry. Got three of my own.

Eric: Hopefully, Nicole and I will be back soon. If she's back before I am, you go without me. If neither of us are back in 24 hours, I want you to get holly outta here and back to Salem. I just hope to get Nicole out of that villa...and get her out before Xander realizes the baby's already gone.

Xander: Little something to take the edge off?

Nicole: Um... I-I should go check on the baby.

Xander: Ah... relax.

[Edgy music]

Mm... you didn't ask me how my card game went. Well, I'll tell you anyway. I won big. Which means that you beating me earlier must have been some kind of weird fluke.

Nicole: Guess so.

Xander: Well, maybe you're a little too smart for your own good.

Nicole: Whatever you say, Xander.

Xander: Don't patronize me, Nicole. I hate it when you do that. Ticks me off. You always think you're so much smarter than me. Not that I don't like smart women. All the men in my family do. Well...[Laughs] You're living proof of that, aren't you? But your smarts aren't the only reason to fancy you, are they?

Nicole: You know, you're-- you're tired. You should...you should lie down.

Xander: Oh...I'm just getting started.

You've had quite a few Kiriakis men wrapped around your little finger over the years, haven't you? I mean, first there was Victor... then Brady, me... Deimos, Brady again. The only one you skipped over was sonny, but then...I guess you're not really his type, are you?

Nicole: [Laughs]

Xander: I remember when you were laughing at me, not with me. Like when you were conning me back in Salem. Then I brought you here, and you threw water in my face, smacked me over the head, tried to escape--I should have kept you locked in that cage.

Nicole: I would have found a way out.

Xander: Oh, there it is... your hook. Sure, you are...gorgeous, Nicole. But you've got nerve. You don't take crap from anyone. You're a fighter, especially when it comes to your kid, and that is sexy as hell.

Nicole: Holly's my life. I would do anything for her.

André: I didn't even touch her. For god's sake! Just get over yourself. Will you just leave me alone? Just go.

[Woman snaps in Greek]

André: The lengths that I go to to protect my brother--

Hope: Wait--

André: Where is he?

Hope: He was just right here.

André: That little rat.

Hope: Chad. He's the one who pinched her.

André: And left me to face her wrath!

Hope: Distracting us long enough to make a quick getaway.

André: 'Cause that blasted amulet--why didn't you arrest him when I told you to?

Hope: Can you just stop, okay? Just stop it. I told you, I'm not here as a cop. I'm here because I--because, like you, I genuinely care about Chad, and I'm worried about him.

André: Yeah? Is that what you...care about? Or is it just because you feel bad because you attempted to murder his father?

Hope: That's true. You're right. I made a promise to myself... to look after Chad, to keep him from following in his father's footsteps, and to stop him from giving into those dark impulses.

André: I'm afraid... he may be giving into those impulses as we speak.

Hope: Well, he hasn't been gone that long--maybe I can reach him before it's too late.

André: If anybody had told me that you and I would be working together...

Hope: I know, I wouldn't have believed it either.

André: Okay, let's go, let's go, let's go.

Chad: So...how can I be sure that you're not trying to just get me into a bidding war with Deimos Kiriakis?

Kristos: Hey, not to worry. You are here, Deimos is not... and I cannot wait for him. I have to get rid of this amulet and its curse as soon as possible.

Chad: [Chuckles] Wait, wait, don't tell me that you believe in this nonsense too.

Kristos: My broken arm is proof of it.

Chad: Fine, whatever. I-I've got the cash. Just give me the amulet.

Kristos: I didn't bring it with me.

Chad: What do you mean?

Kristos: Couldn't take a chance something worse would happen.

Chad: Why is it that all of you just believe in this ridiculous superst--you know what, it doesn't matter. It's better for me.

Kristos: Time will tell.

Chad: I'll give you half the cash now and the rest when--

Kristos: I won't be delivering it either. Someone else will. I will be happy if I never have anything to do with it again.

[Suspenseful music]

Wyatt: Theo and I are cool... aren't we, Theo? He just came by to apologize for jumping on my case earlier.

Ciara: I know you're just being protective, and I totally appreciate it.

Wyatt: Yeah, I get it too. No hard feelings.

Ciara: Did you get your computer?

Wyatt: No. It wasn't ready.

Ciara: Oh. You must be nervous with all the work you gotta do.

Wyatt: Yeah, well, I'm trying not to panic.

Ciara: You shouldn't. Just focus on studying for your math finals, and I'll get to work on your English paper that you asked me to write.

Wyatt: Babe...you are the best.

[Ciara giggles]

[Theo scoffs]

Nicole: Xander, I'm... I'm with Brady now.

Xander: Assuming he's still alive.

Nicole: He is. I mean, he has to be.

Xander: Well, in the meantime, why don't we rekindle the old flame?

Nicole: Look, um... I don't--I don't think Brady would be willing to put in a good word to Victor if you keep this up.

Xander: I told you... I'm not gonna fall for that promise. Victor doesn't give a damn about me, and neither does Brady. Besides...[Sighs] It doesn't seem to matter if you're with someone or not. Does it? Last time you came on to me, you were with Daniel. And when we kissed... there was a definite spark.

Nicole: Xander, please...

Xander: Why are you fighting this? When Brady kicks the bucket, you're gonna need somebody to take care of you and your kid. Why not me?

Nicole: Okay, um...

[Suspenseful music]

Look, you--you're not yourself right now, Xander, so why don't we just...forget this ever happened?

Xander: You forgot that I spared you and your kid.

Nicole: No, I-I--I'm very grateful.

Xander: You're not acting very grateful.

Nicole: Okay. Look, um...why don't you just... sit down... okay?

[Xander laughs]

Nicole: And I will go get you some coffee.

Xander: You can be really lovely...when you want to be. You know that? [Laughs]

Nicole: Okay. Why don't I just... make you a little more comfortable?

[Edgy music]

[Dramatic musical flourish]

Ciara: What was that for?

Wyatt: For being you.

Ciara: Oh...

Theo: I don't like this.

Wyatt: I thought you wanted to see her happy.

Theo: I do.

Wyatt: Well, she said she's happier than she's ever been before.

Theo: You're taking advantage of her!

Wyatt: She offered the money and to write the paper.

Theo: [Scoffs] This has to stop, all right? We have to call the whole thing off right now.

André: What the hell were you thinking--pinching that woman and let her think I did it! Were you trying to get me arrested?

Chad: You tried to get me arrested!

Hope: I told you I couldn't do anything--

Chad: Yeah. I didn't do anything wrong.

André: Did you do anything illegal? I mean, that's why you ran off to make the deal! You don't have the amulet in this room, do you, because then we're all in jeopardy!

Chad: It's not here.

Hope: You didn't do the deal?

Chad: The middleman didn't show up.

André: Probably 'cause he's dead.

Chad: I took it as a sign that both of you are right. I am no longer trying to acquire the amulet.

André: [Exhales] Thank god you came to your senses.

Chad: This has just been a huge waste of time--mine and yours. I apologize.

Hope: So you're letting it go? Just like that?

Chad: I have enough drama in my life right now. I don't need any more.

[Suspenseful music]

[Intense musical buildup]

Xander: What the hell are you doing?

Nicole: I-- I was gonna put it with your keys.

Xander: The hell you were!

Nicole: I--you've been drinking, I just didn't want you to drive.

Xander: Your concern is touching.

Nicole: I'm just gonna go get that coffee.

Xander: I told you to stop playing me.

Nicole: I'm not.

Xander: Prove it. Prove it...

Nicole: [Screams] Oh!

[Exciting music]
