Marlena: We've got decreased sounds on the left.
Gabi: JJ, everything's okay. Help is coming, okay? I'm right here.
Marlena: Honey, honey, I know it's painful to breathe, okay? I'm gonna see if I can get you some help with that.
Gabi: Marlena, what--what's happening?
Marlena: I think the bullet collapsed his lung. He's got an air pocket in there. I'll see what I can do about that.
Gabi: JJ, you're gonna be okay. He's gonna be okay, right? He's gonna be all right?
Marlena: Honey, I'm doing what I can.
Gabi: I'm here. I'm right here.
Adrienne: Kayla, have you seen that brother of mine?
Kayla: Um, actually, I was just about to call you, Adrienne. Um...look. I don't want you to freak out, but, um, Orpheus planted a bomb at the pub. Luckily, my mother was able to get out of the building. Um, but he took john as a hostage.
Adrienne: Oh, my God.
Kayla: And they diffused the bomb, but Steve went to go look for john.
Adrienne: He went with the police?
Kayla: No, he went alone.
Adrienne: What? That's just-- what am I saying? Steve doesn't care about the risk. You tried to stop him. I mean, not that it did any good, obviously.
Kayla: Actually, no, I didn't. In fact, the hospital's on lockdown, and I helped him slip out of the building. He had to try. And I think I'm just coming to terms with who he really is. I just hope he makes it.
Steve: I said drop it.
Orpheus: Well, look at this. I got both of my best friends here. I think you got it backwards, patch. You drop it.
Steve: I think maybe there are some things you should know. I called in a swat team. They're right outside. I told them no sirens and no hostage negotiator.
Orpheus: Now, why don't I believe that?
Steve: You believe this. If we don't walk you out of here right now, with your hands up in the air, real slow, those sharpshooters are gonna make like you're a bottle on a fence. How would that be? You do know that Clyde is in lockup and Xander is dead, right? So you've got no little friends coming to save your ass.
Orpheus: Huh. Well, then maybe I should just do what I came here to do: Get it over with. What do you say, john?
[Suspenseful music]
Lucas: Well, now, Chad and Gabi went to check on JJ. I'm doing this report right now, because if I wasn't, I'd be pacing the floor, worried about everybody. I'll call you if I--
Anne: I told you. I know your boss man, okay? My God, could you stop acting like I'm a terrorist? Hi, Chad, I-- oh, you're not Chad.
Lucas: No, nothing gets by you, does it? What's going on, Leon?
Leon: Found her lurking around outside the main entrance.
Anne: I wasn't lurking. I was looking.
Lucas: It's all right. It's all right. I know who this is.
Anne: You do?
Lucas: Oh, yeah, I do. You're the bitch who made my sister's life a living hell, right?
Anne: I--
Lucas: [Stammering] Jennifer Horton?
Anne: Jeez. Jenny.
Lucas: Mm-hmm.
Marlena: Okay.
Gabi: It's okay, baby. We're here, JJ. Listen, Dr. Evans is gonna help you so that it doesn't hurt to breathe so much, okay?
Chad: Marlena, what are you gonna do?
Marlena: His lung has collapsed. He's got an air pocket. If I can relieve that, I can get him out of pain.
Chad: Here, take this, Gabi. Marlena, with all due respect, you're a psychiatrist.
Marlena: Yes, and the answer's still the same, although I'm a little nervous about doing this.
Chad: So you've done this before?
Marlena: I have done, and it was successful.
Gabi: Oh, my God.
Marlena: I have done it, in medical school. Look, the human body has not changed, okay?
Chad: Okay, great. So--okay, so what--okay, what do you want me to do? How do we help?
Marlena: Gabi, keep pressure on the wound. Chad, I want you to lean him forward.
Chad: Okay, like this? Grab him? JJ, here we go. Here we go. Here we go, buddy.
Marlena: Slow as you can.
Gabi: Okay, it's okay.
Marlena: JJ, it's gonna hurt, but it will be quick, okay?
Gabi: It's gonna be okay.
Marlena: Hang on. Okay. There you go, baby.
JJ: [Breathing deeply]
Chad: Is it done? It's done? Okay, we're leaning you back, buddy. We're leaning you back.
Gabi: It's okay. It's okay. You're okay. You're okay. It's okay. You're better. Do you feel better? Oh, thank you so much.
Chad: Why are there no ambulances? Come on.
Gabi: Thank you so much. You don't know how much this means to me.
Chad: Okay, I need you to look at me, all right?
Marlena: All I did was relieve the pressure. The wound is gonna be a problem.
Gabi: He just looks so pale. But you can breathe, right? You can breathe? Okay, that's good, baby. Thank you so much.
Chad: Who shot you?
JJ: Orpheus.
Gabi: What?
Chad: Or--
JJ: Orpheus.
Gabi: Oh, my God, he's back.
Steve: Okay, now. You do know if you pull that trigger, you're a dead man.
John: Forget about me, Steve. He planted another bomb in the pub.
Steve: Oh, yeah, that bomb. You mean the bomb that hope defused.
Orpheus: That's a lie.
Steve: Here's your choices, Orpheus. You can go back to prison... or you can die right here.
[Tense music]
Or maybe you can try to take me out. Now, I'm still on your hit list, right? Well, lookee here. No Kevlar.
[Men grunting, gunshot]
Gabi: The bleeding is not that bad. Maybe--maybe it's because he's lost a lot of blood, right?
Marlena: Gabi, Gabi, keep the pressure steady.
Gabi: Oh, my gosh. It's gonna be okay. Chad went to go get help, and he's gonna be right back. How are you doing? How are you?
JJ: I'm kind of cold.
Gabi: Oh, my gosh. Uh, yeah. And--and you know what? Actually, I forgot to tell you this morning that Arianna, she was practicing her handwriting, and she actually wrote "JJ." She got it right. She was so cute, and she loved it. I mean, they were perfect. They were backwards, but... she was just really proud to write your name.
JJ: She's a sweet kid.
Gabi: Yeah, she loves you, okay? And you're a huge part of her life, and she has a huge smile on her face when I say your name.
[Siren wailing, horn honking]
Marlena: Finally.
Gabi: Okay, look at that. The ambulance is coming, okay? They're gonna--they're gonna be right here in no time, all right? You're okay.
Marlena: Okay, JJ. Slow, deep breaths. We've got this now, okay? That's good. We've got this.
Chad: I flagged down an ambulance. Paramedics are right behind me.
Gabi: Thank you. Thank you. They're coming. They're coming. You're gonna be okay. Okay, just take deep breaths. Just deep breaths. JJ.
Marlena: JJ, deep breaths.
Gabi: JJ!
Anne: Wow. Wow, jenny from the square. You know, I have not seen her in a while. But if you're--if you're her brother, why are you-- why are you here?
Lucas: I live here for now.
Anne: Oh.
Lucas: Your turn. What are you doing here?
Anne: Well, it is a funny story. Well, no, it's not funny. It's tragic, really. I was in Brooklyn. I was visiting my mother. And yesterday the woman gets all wacko on me about a piece of pie I ate, right? And she straight-up kicks me out. Can you believe that? So I said, "fine," you know? "The hell with it." And I--I got a ticket to O'Hare, rented a car, and it ran out of gas, like, two miles down the road. Some luck, right? So then I'm hoofing it here, and this wacko guy comes, tries to steal my luggage. And luckily for me, I keep bottles of wine in my carry-on, so I grab a chardonnay, and I knock this guy into next Sunday. And then I notice Chad's house up the block, and I--and I remember that we were like this when I was at the hospital. So I devise a plan. I'm gonna go ring the bell. I'm gonna ask for refuge, and-- and then this Gestapo wannabe grabs me, and you are not seeming particularly refuge-type, so...
Lucas: After everything you did to my sister, not to mention my niece, really?
Anne: [Sighs] I mean, is that really important right now? You know, really, where's your humanity here? Sense of charity? Look, I have nowhere else to go, okay? And Salem is dangerous. There are some crazies out there.
Lucas: Yeah, there's some crazies in here too.
Anne: Yeah.
Lucas: All right, fine. She can stay.
Anne: Thank you. Yes, thank you. Wow, you know what? You mind? I'm gonna pour myself a drink.
Lucas: Ah, ah, don't do that. Just please stay away from the alcohol, all right?
[Both grunting]
John: Just stay down. Get your ass down, man. Get moving. It's over.
Steve: That was a nice move, john. I couldn't have done it better myself.
John: You got some ties, man? You're so finished.
Steve: Ready for you.
John: First we're gonna tie you up, and then we're gonna lock you up for the rest of your miserable life. How's that feel?
Orpheus: You don't have the guts to kill me right here.
John: What? And stain this nice carpet? Partner, let me use your gun. We'll do this outside.
Steve: Here we go.
[Dramatic music]
[Phone rings]
Kayla: Steve, where are you?
Steve: I'm at the police station. We did it, baby. We captured Orpheus.
Kayla: Really? They have Orpheus in custody. How's john? Is he okay?
Steve: Oh, john's good. He actually did the heavy lifting. He took the guy down with a gun to his head.
Kayla: Are you okay?
Steve: I'm fine, sweetness. Everybody's fine now. Orpheus is going back to lockup. The bomb is defused. Xander's dead. Clyde's been arrested. It's all good. I got to go now. I love you so much.
Kayla: I love you too. They're all okay. They're all okay. And Orpheus is in custody. I mean, this is amazing.
Adrienne: It's all over. Thank God. My brother the hero! He just never fails, does he?
Kayla: No, he doesn't.
Adrienne: Marlena must be so relieved.
Kayla: Yeah, I'm sure. Listen, I got to go find Seth burns and get him to reopen the hospital.
Adrienne: Oh, thank God. Thank God. Oh, my God, I should call Sonny.
Justin: Adrienne. Adrienne, oh, my God. Oh, my God, you're okay. Thank God you're okay. Oh, my God.
Lucas: Why don't you just have a seat, okay? And when Chad comes back, I'll let him decide.
Anne: Okay. So, what, you like to hear Thomas cry in stereo?
Lucas: One's for Thomas, and one's for Arianna.
Anne: Oh. So the little cutie's staying here too. And where's her mom?
Lucas: Her mom is with Chad, checking up on my nephew JJ, who should have called by now. I'm sure there's something wrong.
Anne: Oh, nah. No news is good news. Relax. So, uh... how many rooms in this place anyway? I mean, talk about huge. This is--I mean, I-- you know what? I think if I moved in here, nobody'd notice.
Lucas: [Sighs] Be impossible for anyone not to notice you, Anne.
Anne: Thank you. So why you living here?
Lucas: My fiancée, Adrienne's idea. I'm here to take care of Thomas so Chad can work through losing his wife.
Anne: Poor girl. She was always so... perky. A little full of herself. So your Adrienne, your girl, so she's the one whose brother has just, you know, one eye?
Lucas: Yes, Anne, he has a patch.
Anne: You know, it's funny. I always confused her for Theresa's aunt Kayla.
Lucas: How is that possible? You worked with Kayla in the hospital.
Anne: Well, between you and me, I tried to stay out of Kayla's way. Anyway, now that Theresa's company's folded, I'm probably gonna have to go beg for my job back.
Lucas: Kayla's gonna love hearing about your troubles, I'm sure.
Anne: Yeah, well, I don't think she's gonna be able to help me come back, 'cause I'm gonna need a lot of time off to, uh... look after my mother, so...
Lucas: What, you don't have any siblings to help out or anything?
Anne: No, me and mommy. She had me when she was young, you know? But she's--talk about pushy. She was always telling me how I should live my life, you know. So I got out of there. I got as far away as I could as soon as I could.
Lucas: Yeah, I know what that's like. Must have been tough.
Anne: Yeah, it was tough, right? Anyway, now that she's sick, I'm-- I mean, I won't have a mom for much longer, so... [Sighs] Now I'm like your sister. I just--it's all about me, and I'm, like, the worst daughter in the world. I just-- [Crying]
Lucas: You're not the worst daughter.
Anne: I am. I'm--you don't know. Can I--
Lucas: No. No, not a chance.
Anne: I'm sorry. I'll take this. I'm sorry. [Sniffling] I'm okay.
[Phone rings]
John: What's going on? Why are we waiting around to give our statement?
Steve: Oh, they said some machine's on the blink. They'll get to us. Want some coffee?
John: No, no, thanks.
Steve: Whoa. Sorry, man.
Marlena: John!
John: Hey, there you are. Oh, baby.
Marlena: I'm so glad to see you. I was terrified!
John: I know. I know. There were some anxious moments, but it's all over now.
Marlena: Oh!
John: Weston's in jail. Xander's gone. And look who we have in there.
Marlena: Oh.
John: There. Hey, hey, hey, hey. What's going on? You're bleeding. What's happened? Are you okay?
Marlena: Oh, john. JJ was shot. I came across him in the square.
Steve: Hey, any word on him?
Marlena: It's too soon to tell, but he's at the hospital, getting help.
[Cell phone rings]
Steve: Sorry.
Marlena: I was afraid I wouldn't see you alive again. I thought we'd both be dead.
John: We found our way back to each other, didn't we? Thanks to my partner. He comes rolling in there in the nick of time. He distracts that son of a bitch just long enough that I can go for the gun. Steve got a shot off and blew a chunk out of his arm.
Marlena: Oh! Oh.
John: You're not gonna have to worry about him anymore. Multiple counts of attempted murder, extortion, not to mention he just shot a cop. He's never gonna see daylight again.
Marlena: Thank you for what you did.
Steve: Oh, couldn't let my partner down. They're ready for our statements.
John: All right, let's give it. I'll be back.
Marlena: Yeah. Okay, okay. Oh!
Dr. Evans.
Marlena: Oh, what? Yes.
The prisoner says he needs medical help.
Marlena: Oh. Well, I don't care what the prisoner says. That doesn't matter to me.
But don't you kind of have to help if...
Marlena: [Sighs] Damn.
[Unsettled music]
Thank you.
Orpheus: Marlena.
Adrienne: Hey, hey, hey, everything's fine. Everybody's okay. Why would you rush over here like that?
Justin: Well, I went to the DiMera mansion, and the guard at the gate said that you were taken to the hospital. So I naturally assumed--
Adrienne: Oh, no, no, no, I was escorted to the hospital. I came here to meet with Sonny.
Justin: Sonny, he's here?
Adrienne: Oh, no, no, no. He's fine. He's fine. He and Steve brought Paul in. Paul had been injured. But he's fine too.
Justin: Okay.
Adrienne: And Sonny's just trying to get some rest, and-- wait, what were you-- what were you doing at the DiMera mansion?
Justin: Checking on you. It's a madhouse out there. And the traffic's so bad, I finally just pulled the car over, ran the rest of the way here. And then I had to sneak into the building, had to crawl up two flights of stairs and the fire escape and then called through a window, and then I-- [Sighs] But anyway--
Adrienne: That sounds a little extreme. Why would you do something like that?
Justin: Why do you think?
Jennifer: Where's JJ? Where is he?
Gabi: I'm not sure.
Chad: Oh, no, no. I wish Marlena was here. She knew more about what was going on with JJ than us.
Jennifer: What?
Gabi: Kayla's operating, okay? And I asked her if she knew if he was gonna be okay, and she didn't give me an answer. She didn't say anything.
Chad: But that's because she was rushed, and doctors never make predictions, so just don't take that as a bad sign, all right? He's got a lot going for him.
Gabi: Yeah, yeah, he does. He--he goes on a run every single day.
Jennifer: Yeah, he does. He runs two, three miles a day. He lifts weights. He's in terrific shape. He's strong.
Gabi: Yeah, yeah, he has to. He's gonna make it.
Jennifer: Yeah, thank you. Thank you for taking care of him, and he is gonna make it because of the people who love him.
Gabi: I do. I love him very much.
Chad: He's gonna pull through.
Jennifer: Thank you. And thank you. Thank you just for caring for him and just for giving him help.
Gabi: I'm just so grateful to your son, because he's so amazing and brave and strong. And like you said, he's gonna pull through. I know it. He's gonna be fine. He's gonna make it through this. It'll be okay.
Marlena: Why was a wounded prisoner brought here and not the ER?
Orpheus: They didn't think the emergency room was secure enough for little old me. Imagine that. My arm didn't hurt before. It's killing me now.
[Calm music]
Marlena: Okay, well, I'll-- I'll look at it.
You've got to unlock him.
Don't even think about it.
Orpheus: Give me a break. I'm about to pass out from the pain.
Marlena: Oh. Well, that's gonna take some stitches. I'll have to sterilize it first.
Orpheus: [Groans]
Marlena: That hurt? Not as much as you've hurt the people in this town. But you feel no remorse, do you?
Orpheus: You know what I regret?
Marlena: What's that?
Orpheus: Thinking that you could be a decent mother to my children. I should have killed you all those years ago.
Marlena: Ah, but you didn't do it. And now you're gonna go to hell.
Orpheus: Oh, I love that. Hell, that's a place you know a little something about. Oh, yeah, I did my homework on you. You made quite the devil, wreaking havoc left and right. You're not only the biggest hypocrite in this town; you're the biggest whore.
Marlena: Oh!
That's it, pal. You're gonna--
[Tense music]
Orpheus: You can leave now, son, or die. Your choice. I have some unfinished business with Marlena.
Marlena: Yeah.
[Music intensifies]
Jennifer: I'm gonna see if I can find out anything, okay?
Gabi: [Sighs]
Chad: Hey, hey. Can I get you something? Anything?
Gabi: You know, I always thought maybe something like this would happen, you know--some crazy person would attack him. I just feel like it's my fault.
Chad: Gabi? Gabi, hey, don't go there.
Gabi: I was on the phone with him, Chad. I was talking to him. Maybe if he wasn't...
Chad: Okay, stop.
Gabi: Distracted by my conversation, he would have seen that person--
Chad: Gabi, listen to me. You can't do that. Orpheus is a stone-cold killer. This is on him. Look, you can't--you can't blame yourself. Trust me, I know when Abby died, I blamed myself.
Gabi: But that had nothing to do with you.
Chad: I know, but I-- but I did anyway. That's how I felt, how you're feeling, okay? But in the end, you have to realize that whatever is gonna happen is gonna happen, and all you can do is love them. And I loved Abby, and you love JJ.
Gabi: Yeah. God, I love him so much.
Justin: We were married for a long time, remember? You are the mother of our children. Why would you be surprised that I would be upset if I thought you were in some kind of trouble?
Adrienne: Yeah, okay. I suppose you would be, knowing that our sons would have a tough time if something were to happen to me, okay.
Justin: Well, it's more than that. Why would you think that I wouldn't have a tough time?
Adrienne: I'd rather not answer that.
Justin: [Sighs] Look, Adrienne. I know that things didn't end well between us, but you have to know that you will always have a place in my heart.
[Soft music]
What? What?
Adrienne: "You'll always have a place in my heart"? I'm sorry. That's just the most tired, clichéd break-up line in the book.
Justin: Yeah, okay. It's a cliché. But it happens to be true.
Adrienne: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be unkind. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have been this cynical.
Justin: And I don't blame you. I mean, I'm the one that, you know, screwed things up for us.
Adrienne: Okay, you know what? I really don't think we should rehash history here. You know, especially with everything that's going on, we have so much else to think about.
Justin: You're right. I'm sorry. I'm just very relieved that you're okay.
Adrienne: [Sighs]
Justin: You really don't know why I would be so worried? I mean, that--that really just baffles you?
Adrienne: You know what? It doesn't baffle me, Justin. I mean, even given that you feel this connection to me that I do to you too-- I mean, we have a long history together, and we share four sons--but I just would never imagine that you'd sneak into a hospital to see me.
Justin: Well, I really had no choice. Apparently, the Kiriakis name doesn't carry much weight anymore.
Adrienne: Okay, you don't think that this is just a little bit weird? I mean, like I said, I don't mean to be unkind. Where was all this concern when we were married, when you were halfway around the world, having your affair with Elsa?
Justin: I thought we weren't gonna rehash all those things, right?
Adrienne: No, no, we weren't. I'm sorry. I just--it slipped out. I shouldn't have mentioned your affair. It's water under the bridge. I'm marrying Lucas now, and that's what I have to focus on.
Justin: Yeah. About that. This whole... wedding stuff, I mean, it feels--it feels a bit rushed.
Adrienne: What?
Justin: What's the hurry? I mean--
Adrienne: Really?
Justin: Yeah. W-- why do you need to-- I mean, it's not like you're planning to start a family, right? What's the hurry?
Adrienne: What Lucas and my plans are is none of your business.
Justin: You're right. You're right. You're right; it's not my business. I'm sorry. It's just this urgency to get married. It just seems... desperate.
Adrienne: Oh, excuse me? You and I were engaged for, like, two minutes before we got married... every time!
Justin: Uh, it was a lot longer than that.
Adrienne: Oh, not much more than that. And you know what? Wait, you know what? Like I said, why should Lucas and I wait? It's not like we are in our 20s. It's not like we have our whole lives ahead of-- really? Really? What's that look?
Justin: Well, I'm just surprised you even remembered that we were only engaged for a short period of time.
Adrienne: Seriously? What, do you think now I have dementia? That's a very important memory. How could I forget something like that? Please.
Justin: You're right. All right. We were both so young and...
Adrienne: Justin. [Shrieks] Oh, my God! Help! Ouch. Justin! Justin!
He grabbed my gun.
John: Who grabbed your--
Steve: What the hell?
John: My God. Get a swat team, quick!
Steve: Move, move.
John: What the hell is she even doing in there? Hey, hey!
Steve: Hey!
John: Come on, guys! Move it!
Marlena: Why don't you use your head for once? This place is swarming with cops. You'll never get away.
Orpheus: Who said I'm going anywhere? I'm tired, Marlena. I'm tired of fighting. I'm done.
Anne: [Sighs]
Lucas: There you go.
Anne: Water?
Lucas: That's water, yes.
Anne: Thank you. Thanks, really, because I don't--you know, I don't really have a lot of people to talk to.
Lucas: Yeah, I'll bet. Listen, Anne, the thing is, um... you know, with my mom, I-- I finally realized that it's not about me at all, you know? It's basically all about her. And I'm sure, with your own mother, you have regrets, you know, like we all do. But what counts is that you're there for her, you know, when she needs you.
Anne: [Sighs] Wow. You're, like, really nice. See, if I tried to talk about any of this with Theresa, she would flip it. She would turn it around in a heartbeat, and it would be all about her and Brady and the little tater tot and--
Lucas: I hate to interrupt you, but I really should finish that report so I can concentrate on my nephew.
Anne: Of course. Yeah, no problemo. Yeah. In fact, I have a--I got a magazine.
Lucas: Okay.
Anne: And I'm gonna--
Lucas: Go ahead.
Anne: Okay, sorry.
Lucas: Yes.
[Playful jazz music]
Anne: This great magazine I got from the airport. It's so great. I'm gonna read it.
Lucas: Great idea.
Anne: It's a great magazine.
Justin: Adrienne, relax. Relax. I'm fine. The doctor that you insisted on dragging in here said I'm dehydrated but I'm gonna be fine. I may not look fine, but I feel fine. I'm fine. I just did a little too much running, a little too much climbing, and then we fought and--
Adrienne: You know what? It takes two to fight. I'm an ingrate. I should have thanked you for rushing over here and all your concern.
Justin: Well, obviously you still care about me. Otherwise, you wouldn't have gotten hysterical when I lost my wind a little bit.
Adrienne: You didn't lose your wind. You fainted.
Justin: Are we gonna fight about that too?
Adrienne: No, we aren't.
Justin: Good. I just hope that we can always find a way to be civil.
Adrienne: The thing is, I don't want to be civil.
Justin: You don't?
Adrienne: No. I want us to be friends.
[Soft music]
Adrienne: Always.
[Machine beeping]
Kayla: So the surgery went well. We removed the bullet and inflated his collapsed lung. He had such rapid and severe blood loss that he slipped into a coma.
Jennifer: Oh, God.
Kayla: The next 24 hours are critical, but he is strong, and he's healthy, so we really hope for a full recovery. I know you guys will understand, but we should limit this to one visitor, okay? So, Jenn, why don't you start? Okay.
[Gentle music]
Jennifer: Hey. I know I probably already told you this before, but... when I was pregnant with you, the doctors told me that I was not gonna have a healthy baby. And you have been proving them wrong ever since. Your dad was so excited to have a son. And, JJ, you've been doing so great since you came back from London. God knows I prayed every single day for you to get through all that craziness and anger, and... and, baby, you did. You did it, because you're strong. JJ, I need you to be really strong right now. You are the glue that holds this family together, and I need you to be stronger than you've ever been. Do you hear me? Please, JJ. I'm gonna hold your hands, okay? And I just need you to squeeze them if you can hear me. JJ, please.
John: Come on, man. Orpheus, let her go.
Steve: Hey!
John: We'll do a trade.
Steve: This isn't gonna work, man!
John: Come on.
Steve: Let's go! Come on!
Orpheus: You know, I thought you might have something like this.
Marlena: What? No, no. That could kill you. Don't do--
[Tense music]
Orpheus: That's the idea. You don't think I'd give you and john boy the satisfaction of throwing me back in a cell to rot.
Marlena: [Gasps]
Orpheus: One more death on your conscience, Marlena.
And one more on mine.
[Gun cocks]
Marlena: [Screams]
John: Oh, doc.
Marlena: John.
John: Are you all right?
Marlena: I'm okay.
John: You okay?
Marlena: I'm all right. I'm okay. When it's time to move to underw..
Adrienne: Here, honey. Please drink this. Come on.
Justin: We didn't even know JJ was in the hospital.
Jennifer: Mm. Thank you for being here. It just feels good to be with other parents who understand.
Adrienne: Honey, of course we understand. When Sonny was stabbed, I mean, you were here, and our friends and our family meant the world.
Justin: Is there anyone you want us to call? How about your mom?
Adrienne: Yeah.
Jennifer: I left her a message. And that's just it. All I have is JJ. He--he is my future. So if lose him after losing jack and Abigail, I--I'm-- I'm done. I don't know how to go on from there.
Adrienne: No, no, no. Shh, shh, shh, shh. Shh, shh.
Gabi: That's it. When I saw you close your eyes and knew that you couldn't hear me anymore, I decided that, JJ, I'm never, ever going to take you for granted ever again. Please. Please just get better. Arianna needs you. I need you. Please.
Steve: What the hell happened?
John: Forget about him. He's dead.
Marlena: He got that from my bag. It's a sedative in small doses.
John: Come on, doc. What are you doing? Give it up. He tried to kill you.
Marlena: I'm a doctor! That's what I do!
John: Give it up, honey. Come on; let's go. Come on. It's over. It's over. It's over, baby. It's okay. It's all over. It's all over. It's over, baby.
