Kate: Where did he ever find these?
Chad: Does he even write his cards in a southern twang?
Stefano: Bah-bah-bah. Bu-bu-bu-bu-bum. Ah.
Simone: [Speaking Italian]
Stefano: Grazie, grazie, grazie.
Simone: Prego.
Stefano: All right.
Simone: Stefano...
Stefano: Uh-huh.
Simone: This just came in.
Stefano: Hmm. Ah, I see. Thank you very much.
Simone: Prego.
Stefano: All right, ciao. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Ha ha. Yeah, I see.
Jordan: We have nothing to talk about.
Rafe: [Scoffs] The hell we don't.
Chase: Please, you can't tell my dad what you heard me say.
Hope: Why not?
Chase: He doesn't like people to know, and... my mom would make him feel bad.
Hope: About what, honey?
Chase: She'd say that he didn't have a dime to his name when she married him.
Hope: That must have hurt his feelings.
Chase: It did, but... please don't tell him what you heard me say. He'd be so mad.
Lia: You don't know me. But I know what you did. You did a bad, bad thing.
Aiden: I think you have me confused with someone else.
Lia: No, I don't. I know who you are. I know what you did. Admit it! Admit it!
Abe: Just calm down. Calm down.
Lia: Oh, please. I know things about him you wouldn't even believe. It's awful. It's terrible.
Abe: All right, at least tell me.
Brady: Nicole.
Nicole: Brady. Looking good, as usual.
Brady: You too, you too. Hey, hey, big news.
Nicole: Huh?
Brady: Guess who's back in town?
Nicole: Oh, I love guessing games. Let's see, is this person judgmental, spoiled, entitled?
Brady: No. No. No, it's Melanie. Melanie's back in town.
Nicole: Yeah, that's who I was talking about.
Daniel: Hey, Mel, I thought on our way to the hospital, we could swing by the pub, pick up some hot chocolates. Huh, what do you think?
Melanie: Um, you know what, Dad? I kind of--I changed my mind. I-I feel like staying in, I think.
Daniel: Okay.
Kelly: Is she there?
Holed up inside her father's apartment.
Kelly: Hmm. Good old Dad lied for her. Huh... birds of a feather. Now that we know where she is... it's time to drop the hammer.
Nicole: And if Melanie had shown up, like, five minutes later, I might have been gone. But, no, no, no, no, she was knocking on the door like some lunatic. So I run out dripping wet, wearing nothing but a towel because I think it's Daniel, and I know that he's running late. So I open the door, and there she is standing there... [Mocking Melanie] What? What? What is so funny?
Brady: No, no, it's not-- no, I'm sorry. It's not funny. It's just I can--I can picture Melanie's face. I mean, obviously, I mean, she's wondering what you're doing in her father's apartment, and she's wondering what you're doing naked in her father's apartment, and then, you know, she start--
Nicole: Okay, she jumped to the wrong conclusion right off the bat.
Brady: Right, of course.
Nicole: Totally hostile, totally snide.
Brady: And you are totally innocent, right?
Nicole: Damn right. So you can wipe that smirk off your face.
Brady: Not a smirk.
Nicole: Okay, I can't help it if Daniel had to leave. And it was his idea that I take a shower and get dry, otherwise I wouldn't have been there.
Brady: Well, I'm very sorry that Melanie got in your face like that. That wasn't right.
Nicole: Thank you.
Brady: [Clears throat] But the question is, are you really upset that she got in your face, or are you upset because of what she assumed about you and Daniel?
Daniel: I thought you wanted to surprise Maxine, talk to her about getting rehired.
Melanie: No, I did--I do, obviously. I do. I just, uh--I just feel jet-lagged.
Daniel: Yeah? Well, you were fine a little while ago.
Melanie: It just kind of hit me in the last, like, couple of minutes. Um, I think I'm going to veg out.
Daniel: Okay, well, what about your lunch with Brady?
Melanie: Mm, I forgot about that. Well, that I can do.
Daniel: Okay, Melanie... either you're too exhausted, or you're not. Which is it?
Abe: Lia, now, leave this-- leave this gentleman alone.
Lia: No, no, I know what he did.
Abe: Jenkins.
Lia: I saw--I saw him do it.
Abe: Lia, you can't speak to people like that. It's very upsetting.
Lia: I know what you did!
Abe: Go get her to sit down, please.
Yes, sir.
Abe: And see if Detective Brady's over by the arch.
Yes, sir.
Lia: [Mumbling]
Have a seat.
Abe: I'm--I'm sorry about that. She--she--she's harmless. I mean, she's kind of a fixture around town. We'll take care of her. We'll help her. You okay?
Aiden: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm okay. I just... wasn't expecting that.
Hope: Chase, sit down, honey. Hey, it's okay. Your dad's not going to be upset.
Chase: But he just gave me a real big lecture.
Hope: "Lecture"?
Chase: Please, just don't tell him what you heard me say.
Detective? Uh, commander carver needs you to come down to the square. Lia's off her meds again.
Hope: Oh, great. Chase, come on, sweetie, your dad's going to want to know where you are. How bad is it this time? Has she been scaring people? Hey, chase, come on, sweetie, we got to go.
Abe: Look, Lia, we've talked about this before, remember? Yelling at people makes them not want you around.
Hope: Aiden? What's going on?
Aiden: Uh, that woman over there went crazy on me, uh... but it's over now. I just hope she gets the help she needs.
Hope: We'll get her evaluated. Sometimes she goes off her meds. Sorry. Most people know about her in Salem.
Aiden: Well, it's not a problem. Mainly I want to know where you and Owen went, young man, and why. We had a job to do here, remember? By the way, where--where's Owen now?
Chase: His mom came, so he left with her.
Aiden: Okay, so he left with his mom. But that's not the whole story, is it?
Jordan: I mean it, Rafe. I don't have time for this.
Rafe: Well, you do. I just checked your schedule.
Jordan: Well, then I don't have the patience.
Rafe: Well, find some. I just finished talking with Kate.
Jordan: Oh? And I missed it? Darn, you know, that woman is a big ball of fun.
Rafe: Yeah, I know everything, okay, Jordan? I know every damn thing that the woman did.
Jordan: To try to bring me down, ruin my reputation, not to mention my sanity. Here's something maybe you don't know. It's not gonna work. I am not going to let that bitch ruin my life.
Rafe: Okay. What about Clyde?
Kate: Please knock next time.
Chad: In my own home? Nah, I don't think so. It's a nice try, though.
Kate: Excuse me?
Chad: Oh, changing the subject so you don't have to talk about getting all these... sweet magnolias from country Clyde.
Kate: I'm having a really hard time understanding why you think any of this is your business.
Chad: Because we're partners. And as co-CEO, I have to look out for the good of the corporation... which is why I'm concerned that this man who likes to pretend he's just a good old boy is after something and using you to get it.
Nicole: Aren't you so cute today? "What Melanie assumed." Oh, and I'm assuming you're assuming the same thing?
Brady: Just saying.
Nicole: Okay, well, stop, because what Melanie was assuming and what you're assuming is totally wrong. Daniel and I are just friends, period. We're not an item, secretly or otherwise.
Marlena: Everything okay?
Both: Oh.
Marlena: You seem a little tense today.
Nicole: [Chuckles]
Melanie: What's wrong?
Daniel: Nothing's wrong. I'm just trying to figure out--
Melanie: No, no, no. The questions that you're asking me--I'm tired, okay? I can still go see Brady. I just--I need, like, a nap.
Daniel: Okay, okay, sure. Yeah, no problem.
Melanie: Okay.
Daniel: Yeah. See, you just don't look that wiped out.
Melanie: Well, I am naturally effervescent--it's a blessing.
Daniel: Oh. [Chuckles]
Melanie: And, of course, a curse.
Daniel: Is that it? Okay, Melanie, I have talked to Chloe, and it's all arranged. Your grandmother's going to go to Chicago, and she's going to bring Parker here later today.
Melanie: Yay!
Daniel: Yeah, but it's going to be a short visit, and pretty soon, yeah, you'll get to hang out with your little brother.
Melanie: Good. [Squealing] I'm so excited for that.
Daniel: Okay, but see, here's the thing. Before he gets here, I feel like I really do have to ask... are you sure there isn't something that you're not telling me? Because, sweetheart... I kind of feel like there is.
Aiden: Chase? Something you want to tell me?
Abe: Uh, look, I'm--I'm sorry. I need to borrow hope for a minute.
Hope: Excuse me.
Aiden: Yeah, no problem.
Hope: Be right back.
Aiden: I'm still waiting.
Chase: Dad, I'm really, really sorry I went off with Owen. Mrs. Brady fou--found us and said you were really mad. I'll never do it again.
Aiden: Look, chase, I didn't want to--
Chase: There's Billy Wilson with his mom. I'm riding with them, remember?
Aiden: Well, then you better get going.
Abe: So social services is going to pick her up at the station. It's just too bad she went off on Aiden like that. You know, I got to tell you, though, the guy looked like he'd seen a ghost.
Hope: He's fine. He just wanted to be sure she got the help she needed.
Abe: Well, he's obviously one of the good guys.
Hope: Oh, you don't have to tell me that.
Aiden: Tell you what?
Hope: Hmm?
Aiden: Hmm?
Hope: Nothing.
Abe: Uh, listen, folks, I'm going to have to run, but, uh... you two take care.
Hope: Bye, Abe.
Aiden: Take it slow. So, in case you haven't noticed, the next group of volunteers has arrived. We are off the hook.
Hope: Nice.
Aiden: Mm-hmm.
Hope: And I, um... I'm not on duty for another four hours.
Aiden: Chase has just gone to school.
Kate: [Laughs]
Chad: Oh, it's nice to know I'm always good for a laugh.
Kate: Oh, I'm sorry. Did I hurt your feelings?
Chad: Look, I'm just trying to protect you, Kate.
Kate: Well, see, you have to see how amusing that is. "Protect me"? Protect me from whom-- from Clyde?
Chad: So what, then? I mean, you trust this new "feller" of yours?
Kate: I don't trust men, period. And that goes double for you and your father.
Chad: Hmm. Well, how about... [Inhales sharply] Rafe?
Jordan: This may come as a shock to you, Rafe, but I don't give a damn about Kate or Clyde. They deserve each other.
Rafe: What changed?
Jordan: What does that mean?
Rafe: Because not too long ago, you were ready to pack up and leave town so you didn't have to face Clyde-- not once, but twice.
Jordan: Okay, you want to know what's changed? I'm not running anymore. That's all Ben and I did for eight years-- looking behind us, never getting close to anyone, always afraid. I mean, you know what I was like when I got here, and I will never, ever be that way again.
Rafe: Good for you.
Jordan: Don't patronize me, okay? I-I found happiness. People respect me. They respect my work, and for the first time in my life, I fell...
Rafe: In love? You were going to say "in love"... with me.
Nicole: "Tense"? [Scoffs] Marlena, I am anything but tense. Okay, what I am is late. Brady, great to see you.
Brady: Mm-hmm.
Marlena: She just wore me out.
Brady: [Chuckles]
Marlena: Guess she wasn't thrilled to see me, huh?
Brady: I think she knows you hate her.
Marlena: Oh, I don't hate her. I just hate what she did to my son.
Brady: I don't think anybody is cool with what Nicole did to Eric, including Nicole. But I've made mistakes, Marlena, so I'm trying to see past it.
Marlena: Oh, yes, you've made mistakes. I've made mistakes. When Nicole makes a mistake, it takes on the proportion of a world war.
Brady: I got to go. I'm picking up Melanie for lunch.
Marlena: Hey, what--what-- Melanie? Melanie's back in Salem?
Brady: Yeah, yeah, she got here yesterday, apparently for--for good.
Marlena: Oh, her family must be thrilled.
Brady: Definitely.
Marlena: Mm, and you?
Brady: Me--I'm-- yeah, I'm--I am thrilled. It's good. I'll see you.
Marlena: Yes, yes, bye.
Melanie: Okay, I know. All right, listen, I deserve, uh, to have you asking me all of these questions because I have lied to you in the past, in the--before, sometimes a few ti--more than I should have, way more than I should have. But--I'm kidding. That was the old me, okay? The new me would like to fall asleep right here.
Daniel: Okay. I'm going to let you rest. But you take care.
Melanie: Okay.
Daniel: You know I love you.
Melanie: I love you too, Dad.
Daniel: Okay. You make me crazy, but I love you. Ah, bye.
Melanie: Bye.
[Door closes]
Melanie: [Sighs] I hate lying to you, Dad. [Sighs] [Sighs] This is just not something I can tell you about.
Aiden: We're going to have to stop meeting like this.
Hope: Maybe we should rent by the week.
Aiden: By the month.
Hope: Mmm. The year. I like this.
Aiden: I like this a lot. Oh, and, um, by the way, don't worry about that thing with chase. I mean, obviously he's not telling me something. I'll get him to come clean.
Hope: Well, don't be too hard on him. He already feels bad enough as it is.
Aiden: Do you know why?
Hope: Uh, I think maybe it was, um, something that started with his friend.
Aiden: Owen?
Hope: Yeah.
Aiden: Oh.
Hope: He may have said some things you asked him not to talk about, but he really regrets it.
Aiden: What did he say?
Hope: That you weren't always so well off... that it was your wife who had all the money.
Aiden: [Exhales deeply] You sound surprised.
Hope: I guess I was.
Jordan: Don't try to tell me what I was going to say.
Rafe: Well, what? It's not true?
Jordan: The truth isn't always what you think it is, Rafe. And if you're assuming that I'm still in Salem because of you...
Rafe: I wasn't assuming anything, Jordan.
Jordan: Wrong again. Then why even bring up what we used to have? Why?
Rafe: Well, you were the one who was saying that you weren't going to let Kate ruin your life, and, well, it seems to me--
Jordan: What? That--that I already have because you and I broke up? Get over yourself.
Rafe: Why are you so defensive?
Jordan: The only thing that would make me regret my decision to leave you is if Kate forced you to sleep with her. But we both know that's not the case. We both know that that's all on you.
Kate: Hmm. I am not going to discuss Rafe with you. In fact, we have a lot of work to do. I want you to sign these.
Chad: So what was Rafe doing here before?
Kate: Oh, my God. So, really? Seriously? Do you ask all the servants questions when you come through the front door?
Chad: I like to keep up on my gossip.
Kate: Actually, he was here. He had just been talking to your new girlfriend. He had a lot of questions.
Chad: Unpleasant ones about you.
Kate: Well, it wasn't a warm conversation, that's for sure. He seemed intent on reconciling with Jordan. Of course, he has a little spark. She probably still does too.
Chad: [Chuckles] [Clears throat] Why don't you keep your good old boy on a short leash?
[Pen scratching]
Kate: Leaving so soon? Where are you going? As if I didn't know.
[Keys clacking]
Daniel: You know, Melanie came by to surprise you last night, but you weren't on duty. She was ready to come with me today, but jet lag started to get her down, so she begged off.
Maxine: Oh, that's too bad. She will be by, though, later, won't she? I can't wait to see that little dickens.
Daniel: Oh, she will find you, guaranteed. You seem to be her favorite.
Maxine: [Chuckles]
Nicole: Hey, I got your text. What's up?
Daniel: Yeah, hey, thanks for coming. I had a cancellation. So, if you have a few minutes, I would like to-- I would like your advice on something.
Nicole: I'm sorry. You want my advice?
Daniel: Uh, yes, I do.
Nicole: Well, howdy. I guess my mama was right. There is a first time for everything.
Daniel: All right, come on. Let's go.
[Knock at door]
Melanie: Relax. It's Brady. Just got to figure out how to talk him into staying here for lunch.
Melanie: You made it! [Squealing]
Serena: I did. By that shocked look on your face, I thought you didn't recognize me.
Melanie: Oh, it hasn't been that long.
Serena: Prague was a while ago.
Melanie: [Chuckles] Yes. I can't believe you're here... and in Salem. You're going to love it. I'm so excited for you.
Serena: I know, and I can't wait for you to show me around, and we can catch up
Melanie: Yes. Um, I want to--I would love to do that. Right now I don't--
Serena: No, I-I don't mean now. I'm actually in a bit of a rush. I have to get over to university hospital, get some things squared up, but I thought I'd take the chance that you'd be here at your dad's place, and we could do a quick hello.
Melanie: Hi.
Serena: Hi. How have you been?
Melanie: Good. Just, uh--
Serena: Oh, my God. Is that the time?
Melanie: Yeah, why?
Serena: What a dummy. I-I set my watch an hour late when we were landing.
Melanie: Oh, no.
Serena: I must be the only person who still uses a watch instead of my phone. Um, okay, we'll catch up later?
Melanie: Yes, yes.
Serena: Okay, I'll--I'll call you. [Chuckles] Bye.
Melanie: Bye. Huh. Cool. You're fine. You're safe. You did it. [Chuckles] You got away with it.
Aiden: A bit disconcerting, don't you think? A subject as personal as money keeps coming up between us.
Hope: Aiden, please. It doesn't matter one way or--
Aiden: It's--it's okay. I'm not suggesting that it's on you or that you even care one way or the other.
Hope: I don't. Really, I don't.
Aiden: Although... why wouldn't you think I was-- to the manor born, hmm? I mean, look how I live, right? The house, the car, the suits, top-of-the-line everything... seems obvious, right? Plus, I never open up about anything, so... [Sighs] Truth is I grew up poorer than poor.
Hope: I understand. But after law school, you started your practice--
Aiden: Well, after law school, I worked as a public defender, then an ADA, so I never made much money. In fact, it was Meredith's inheritance that carried us through. I mean, to be honest, you know, I never cared much about money. [Taps desk] But I do care about my son. And I worry how it affected him, you know, losing his mom as a young boy... the way it happened. So I admit, you know, I tend to overspend on him sometimes, you know, like, uh--like Meredith did... to make his life as close to the normal as he used to know as I can make it. Does that make sense?
Hope: It does.
Aiden: Yeah.
Hope: I'm sorry I even brought it up. Look, the last thing I want to do is waste what little time we have together talking about things that are unimportant.
Aiden: Hmm. Now, I could not agree more. So then what shall we talk about?
Hope: How about we not talk... at all?
Rafe: Listen... if I could take back what I did, I would... in a heartbeat, okay? It was a mistake. It was a mistake that I--
Jordan: What was a mistake was you telling me that you loved me.
Rafe: No, I do love you, Jordan. I love you, I will always love--
Jordan: No, stop saying that! Unless you came here to hurt me, do not say that. I am staying here in Salem because I am building a life for myself. I have made friends. My brother is here. And I have a real chance to move on.
Rafe: With Chad DiMera? With cha--really? How many times do I have to warn you about that guy?
Jordan: You don't get to tell me who I can see and who I can't see. My life is no longer your concern.
Rafe: No, it is my concern, because I care about you, and I always will, Jordan!
Chad: Looks like I'm interrupting something.
Kate: [Sighs] How did he ever manage to get magnolias in December?
[Cell phone ringing]
Kate: Hello, Stefano.
Stefano: Buon giorno, Katerina. [Chuckles]
Daniel: Here you go.
Nicole: Thank you.
Daniel: Yeah. Okay. So I just figured, with your being a reporter, that you might know about these things-- I don't know--that maybe it's one of your little tricks of the trade.
Nicole: Could be, but you're going to have to spell it out for me. What are you talking about?
Daniel: Oh, okay, okay. So say you get a call from a blocked number. How do you find out who made that call?
Nicole: Why would you care?
Daniel: Because I just-- I do. I care.
Nicole: People can block their I.D. If they want to.
Daniel: Okay, I know that, but it--
Nicole: But what--so what are you so worried about? I mean, is it Melanie? Daniel?
Daniel: Okay, yes. And here's the thing-- I mean, Melanie--she's been a little off since she got back. And it's probably nothing...
Nicole: Mm-hmm.
Daniel: But last night when she was out, she got a call at my place, and this person sounded just a little odd. So how would I trace that number?
Nicole: With a court order.
Daniel: That's great.
Nicole: I'm sorry. You have to obey the law unless you're the NSA, I guess. What did Melanie say?
Daniel: Uh, I don't know-- just nothing.
Nicole: So, she's covering?
Daniel: No, I just don't want to push her, you know?
Nicole: Why not?
Daniel: Because I feel like I need to give her her space.
Nicole: Okay, you asked me for my advice, so I'm going to give it to you. Stop respecting Melanie's space, okay? Demand the truth... or... treat her like you treat me.
[Knock at door]
Brady: Mel, it's Brady!
Melanie: Oh. Coming! Coming, coming, coming, coming, coming. I'm coming. Hi.
Brady: Hi. I didn't know if you were going to be here or the hospital.
Melanie: Oh, well, I feel like I was here, and I was here. But I'm ready to go.
Brady: You have cabin fever, don't you?
Melanie: You have no idea.
Brady: Let's get out of here.
Melanie: Okay.
Kate: Stefano, let's keep this short, okay? The tax authorities are probably tapping this line. You don't want them to find your hiding place.
Stefano: [Laughs] You know, I have always loved how thoughtful you are.
Kate: Get to the point.
Stefano: You know, I understand that you are trying to buy a telecom company in Malaysia. Now, would you care for my advice?
Kate: So I can listen to it and then do the opposite? Are we still playing that little game?
Stefano: [Laughs] You know, we've had some fun times, you and me. But everything's worked out well, hasn't it? How do you like sharing CEO duties with my son?
Jordan: Rafe and I are finished. He's leaving.
Rafe: Right. I'm done. Yeah.
Chad: You know, you sure have a lot of police business to run by Jordan these days.
Rafe: It was personal.
Chad: Hmm.
Rafe: Yeah, just wanted Jordan to know that she still has a friend in me. I make a point of always looking out for my friends.
Chad: [Scoffs] Well, that is a very noble sentiment, Rafe. I am sure that Jordan appreciates that. Are you okay?
Jordan: Terrific. Let's get out of here.
Serena: I hope showing me the ropes won't be too much work. I mean, you are the head nurse on this unit.
Maxine: Oh, I'll be fine, honey. And you will be too. Mr. Burns did the right thing telling me to get you acclimated. So you're here on a research grant?
Serena: Yes. I am so thrilled the hospital's opening its resources to me.
Maxine: Well, if anybody gives you trouble, you come see me. I know how to... sidestep certain people, bump others out of the way and just roll right over the rest.
Serena: [Laughs]
Maxine: Mmm. Never thought I'd say this, but this hospital has some good coffee. Would you like some?
Serena: Sure.
Nicole: Daniel, I-I know you're thrilled that Melanie is back, and you don't want to get on her case. I get that. I'm not a parent, obviously, so this may sound presumptuous, but you have got to be hard on her the way you're always hard on me. I mean, would you let me get away with being evasive and playing games with you? No. But that is a good thing. You have helped me by being hard on me, more than you know. And when you demand that I am honest with you, therefore, myself, it makes me face up to things. It makes me a better, stronger person. Do you get what I'm saying?
Daniel: Yeah. Yeah, I do.
Nicole: What if Melanie really does need your help... and she doesn't get it because you're too afraid of hurting her or alienating her by pushing her to be truthful with you or facing head-on whatever it is she is struggling with?
Daniel: You know, I had a feeling you were the right person to talk to about this. Thanks.
Nicole: Yeah.
Melanie: A lot of new stores since I was here last.
Brady: Oh, yeah, we got a lot more. Oh, that reminds me--um, I have to get some batteries. Will you stay here? Would you--do you mind if I get them before we eat?
Melanie: Yeah. No, no, go for it. I'm going to look around a little bit more.
Brady: You know, we're not in Europe anymore. We're not in the land of pickpockets anymore. You don't have to hold on to this purse so tight.
Melanie: Right. [Chuckles]
Brady: All right?
Melanie: Old habits--they die hard.
Brady: All right. I'll see you in a bit.
Melanie: Okay. Okay. [Chuckles nervously] You're home... and you're safe. [Sighs] [Chuckles]
Hope: Remember what I said before... that I liked this?
Aiden: [Chuckles] And I said I liked this a lot.
Hope: Mm. I think we both understated it.
Lia: You did a bad... bad thing.
Kate: Well, I don't think you're going to be so cheerful in a couple of weeks, because Chad is totally inexperienced. He's going to be costing the company a lot of money, probably very soon.
Stefano: Well, you know, my son is a fast learner. Now, he played us both and came out a winner, if you remember.
Kate: [Scoffs] So far.
Stefano: But you, on the other hand, carissima... you haven't learned anything, have you?
Kate: Meaning?
Stefano: You know, I thought that you couldn't stoop any lower than Rafael Hernandez. Imagine--Rafael Hernandez. But this latest paramour-- I don't believe it. Seriously? A hillbilly from Arkansas?
Kate: He's from Missouri. And if I wanted your opinion--
Stefano: Tell me something, huh? Is he teaching you to square dance? [Chuckles]
Kate: Okay, that's it. Look, I have a spectacular mansion to take care of, a corporation to run. I am going to hang up now.
Stefano: Of course, of course. Look, I'll call later. Um, when would be a good time?
Kate: How about the tenth of never.
Stefano: [Chuckles]
Chad: Hey, look, I know we talked about going out to eat, but if you're too upset about Rafe and you'd rather just put it off until--
Jordan: Do I look like I want to waste any time talking about Rafe... or put anything off?
Abe: Everything okay?
Rafe: Just peachy.
Abe: I'm not sure I've ever seen you take a drink this early.
Rafe: I'm off duty.
Abe: That's not my point. What's going on?
Rafe: I had something great... something perfect. Yeah, as usual, I managed to lose it. No, strike that. I, uh... I destroyed it.
Maxine: Next, I'll introduce you to Janet Foreman. She's in charge of our database. Anything that you can't find on your own, she can, uh, figure it out in just a few keystrokes.
